The situation is becoming more and more chaotic…

Over the past month, a series of kidnappings of politicians and businessmen have taken place throughout the country.

The latest victim?

Lex Luthor was the 10th victim and it occurred during a press conference in front of the Lex Corp building… The modus operandi was the same as the previous ones, a group of people with helmets and white motorcycle suits, along with green lacer weapons assaulted the tycoon and proceeded to take him away under the newly discovered Anti-Ecto law, once again there was a confrontation between the "Hunters" and the security group of the place, again nothing could be done and several of the guards were taken away under the charge of terrorism according to the guidelines of the previous law…..

The teenagers of Amity Park decided to make an unconventional protest to publicize and accelerate the repeal of the Anti-Ecto Laws, said proposal consists of kidnapping the politicians who approved the law (knowing about it) as well as the businessmen with more questionable practices.

The idea ended up emerging when, noticing how the GIW began to check humans for ecto-contamination, they decided to make a "Jewel" with the sole purpose of fooling the government's sensors.

Once they had it ready, the Phantom team had to explain to the rest of the town's teenagers how and why they had to use the device…

And amidst all the chaos of the situation, the crazy group of teenagers decided that they had to do something to stop the laws, so they made the following plan…

Reverse the jewels so that they create a false ectoplasmic signature.

Implant it in politicians, businessmen or any questionable person so that they are "ecto entities"

Use a scanner "approved" by the GIW, that is, by the government, and identify them as ecto entities

Proceed to kidnap them in the most public way possible while shouting anti-ecto acts.

Wait for the chaos in the government and the repeal of the laws.

I'm willing to bet you REAL money Bela listened to Alcina's warnings (like a good obedient daughter) and avoided the cold just like her mother said. When she said this line she was genuinely confused and scared at what was happening to her body which tells you that for almost a hundred years she never put herself in any situation where she was exposed to the cold because this is legitimately her first time seeing the cold's effect on her.

Cassandra, on the other hand, did say "I have to get warm" which means that she knows what's happening probably because this is not her first time dealing with the cold and its effect on her (it is probably a mix of rebelling against her mother's rules and finding out the hard way what the cold does to their bodies and also because of some maids' assassination attempts because they always want to start with the most dangerous sister thinking it's actually doable). Anyway, as I was saying, Cassandra wasn't surprised at her body's reaction to the cold because she's been there before and she was kinda used to it but Bela was dealing with it for the first time in her life and she was genuinely scared/surprised at what's happening.

Gi-hun knows he’s not finished here. 

Not as long as the games continue.

Not as long as Gi-hun has breath in his lungs.

And breath, he has.

He used what little breath was available to him to yell, in that moment when Hwang was struck, his body and lungs reacting before his stress-addled brain. It worked. Kind of. It got the attention off the Front Man, at least.

Funny, how the very thing he so recently sought to destroy is now his only hope for survival.

Because while Hwang In-ho may walk out of here without Gi-hun, Gi-hun knows he will most certainly not leave here alive without the Front Man. He can hate it all he likes, but that asshole is his buddy now, his field-trip-partner in this nightmarish world of nostalgia. Not just this room, but all the rooms beyond. Here, Gi-hun is a newcomer, even on his second tour. Hwang knows the island, he knows its patterns and its inhabitants, he knows every door and every code and every goddamn guard. Without him, Gi-hun is lost. Adrift in the Escheresque labyrinth of false doors and dead ends. A rabbit to be hunted. Marked for death already, bright white against all these eye-watering colors. A beacon. A target. Something shiny and eye-catching, while the Front Man’s own dark grays blend into the shadows. The message is very clear: on his own, in here, he’s dead.

And anyway... if Hwang In-ho died... what would be the fun of it? What’s the point of any of this, without him?

So, the Front Man has to stay alive.

It’s what Gi-hun focuses on through the interrogation. Through the pain and humiliation. Being stripped and leered at and laughed at. He grits his teeth and he takes it, because if it’s not him, it’s going to be Hwang In-ho. And Hwang In-ho is not an asset he’s willing to part with.
