#strato.txt #oil painting #wip #im worried ive unbalanced the composition w the second one on the right tho... its so much closer to the edge #ugh whatever. aunt lizzie is the focus here #i wish i knew what she actually looked like this is just cobbled together from general features of my family #solid build... dark curly hair... bigass ears. she could be one of my cousins. she could be me #ok rq im gonna lay out the story in the tags for anyone who hasnt seen the previous lizzie art #my great-something aunt lizzie was disabled and couldnt walk very well and she died young #she wanted to see the second floor of the farm house real bad but no one ever carried her up there and she died before seeing it #they buried her in a long white dress somewhere down at the creek. we dont know where her graves lost unfortunately #the night she was buried something wearing a white dress walked into the house and up the stairs and disappeared #and sometimes you can hear her down around the creek screaming #somewhere along the line wolves got mixed into the imagery for me #my uncle told me a story about another 'white thing' that was wolfish and would jump on cars #so i just assumed lizzie was a werewolf my whole life #anyways. i think her staying after she died was a manifestation of her desire for autonomy. maybe #maybe if shed had modern accommodations she wouldnt have felt the need to stick around. or maybe she would have idk #either way i think death afforded her control over her own desires in a way she hadnt experienced before #and i think thats why she still hangs around the creek #i hope she would like this. maybe ill take it down there and leave it out for a night when its finished so she can see

our medicine cabinet fell off the wall in our bathroom so we r taking the opportunity to paint the walls and change things around a little and i’m just. rly rly excited

#we live in a rly old building w cool little hexagonal floor tiles and a big old window in the shower and a pedestal sink #lots of charming details #but the walls are this horribleeee like purple brown toned gray???#and the lightbulb is RLY yellow #and there’s ugly window film on the window and all the old white shelving was put in poorly #so i’m excited to give it the love and care and respect it deserves !!!#the people who lived here before us were def trying to millennial gray the bathroom which is the most disrespectful thing 2 me #in such a pretty old building🥺🥺🥺#but a fresh coat of paint and new outlet covers and window film to honor the age of the house will go a long way :)#personal

im naming a new phenomenon we've noticed in our system. Body Blindness. if the fronter in question is too similar to the body (or they lack an appearance to the point they're not visible in headspace) nobody in-sys can tell who they are when they're in front. including themselves

#link keeps getting body blindness and it's so funny bc we also have a Mirror (aka: an 'introject' of the body in some way)#who stole the name link. specifically This Link's name and appearance. like specifically the only one we ended up introjecting #taryn wandered back into front (she's been in and out all day) and was like 'WAIT who stole front from me???'#and it took link himself like two full minutes to figure it out-#we have like. branched versions of mirrors #like. if Mirrors are basically AUs of the body. then the Mirrors then have their own AUs #and like. each of the mirrors has memories of their own version of earth so they Are Alternate Universe Versions technically #like- we have the Main Four that were the original mirrors the ones who originated the term #because we have Ruby- that of the Winter universe as we called it- and in a very elaborate dream that bled into headspace #they encountered who we eventually named Faydie (pronounced fay-dee) who is from the Summer mirror #in the dream there was a perfectly square room covered floor to ceiling in dark green paint with a mirror on each wall #and the winter and summer worlds were Parallel while fall and summer were Perpendicular to them #perpendicular universes have some few intersections but are largely completely different #like in link's world (fall) where they had a similar life to Ruby but they were amab and raised as a boy #but then when they grew up they ended up with the exact same flavor of nonbinary as ruby #and then Beatrice is from spring and she's like if the body grew up neurotypical and cishet (she's very sweet and nice)#but then we have later mirror Percy (from a Different earth; the one that eventually got named Paradox)#and Percy had a parallel world counterpart that. was NOT connected to the other Mirrors. only Percy #Percy was connected to both the older ones and this new one but the new one was only Percy's #and that became Ochre #and then from Percy ejecting the Echo half of them from their human body Maxwell was spawned- the human left behind #and from Maxwell. Nate. and nobody knows where the hell nate came from but nate is only maxwell's parallel #and All Of These People experience this!!#others include skip and the Voidthings and etho for some reason #its the white hair isn't it. yeah its the white hair

When you have to start doing this at the entrance of your room because capturing and then killing 40+ mice resulted in the survivors communicating to each other that they need to start jumping over the traps to avoid getting caught. So now, while they crawl under the doorway, they have to also somehow jump over the Great Wall of Mouse Traps that is laid out under the door as well.

#a lot that white stuff on the floor is paint that i didn't care to do anything about
