Kenzie Lauder in Mastermind

To the right circles, Kenzie Lauder was infamous.  Not only were her jobs always impeccable, pushing the boundaries of risk for the greatest rewards, but she had also weaponized the phrase “burden of proof” far beyond what anyone would expect to hold up in a court of law.  It was that phrase, in fact, that kept her from following Neal Caffrey into jail, to the eternal frustration of one Peter Burke.  Losing her partner in crime didn’t slow Kenzie down, necessarily, but it inflicted upon her a sense of caution that she’d never had in the past, staying off the radar and being far more deliberate and intentional in the risks the took.  In fact, from what Neal has heard since getting out of prison, most of her old friends believed her to be out of the business.  Having not seen or heard from her since getting out, Neal in inclined to believe them — that is, until he walks into his latest undercover mission and sees a familiar face at the other end of the bar.

So I've drawn a new dragoness for everyone. Her name is "Felicity", and she is a dragoness in disguise. The toxic tales of dragons in Europe have forced dragons like herself into hiding, using magic to disguise themselves as humans.

Felicity has chosen the United Kingdom as her refuge. The time period being prior to the arrival of the Pilgrims to Plymouth Rock. She hopes that hiding directly under the nose of the British monarchy will ensure her survival. And hopefully open the opportunity to start a family with the man she loves.

I hope all of you enjoy her. Love all of you, and I look forward to seeing more of you. Also stay warm if you live in a place kissed by winter. ♥

revamp ideas of another old oc, this is xeneal, he lives in shawns universe. he used to be named shay and was a space bounty hunter, the first thing obviously got changed for his redesign but as for the second thing im kinda entertained by the concept so it might stay. it was not a huge part of his character tho i literally only remembered accidentally finding a note abt him in an old character document from 10 years ago lol

his species r typically pretty stocky & bulky. they weigh a lot so their long fur is very plush and light. i had harbor seals in mind when i was doing his palette and body markings so i leaned into it more for the face idea for the 2nd pic. still gonna be playing around with it

At tier three we have these two: White Collar & Associate Specialist: Rabble-Rouser!

Inspired by Cog Buildings, Noisy folks and everyday appliances. Design notes and name choice rambling under the cut!

White Collar: A worker belonging to a class of employees known for earning higher average salaries doing highly skilled work, but not by performing manual labor at their jobs.

So this one is based off of general office workers! obviously. Despite being based off of lamps and presentation board papers I don't think they're very smart or that great for thinking for themselves. they tend to clamor over one of the heads of the rabble-rouser. sometimes fighting amongst each other if either of the rabble-rouser heads wills it. which is often.

Rabble-Rouser: a person who speaks with the intention of inflaming the emotions of a crowd of people, typically for political reasons.

I like to think that the two heads of the rabble-rouser have different personalities. or at least very differing opinions. they love to hear themselves speak, often trying to speak over the other rouser. they're based off of speakers and a bit off of cog buildings! i always looked at the eyes of those things ad thought they would look interesting on a cog. i feel like if they didn't share the same health-pool they would order their white collars to "get" the other. but since they do, they do nothing but talk, talk and talk and the occasional infighting proxy battle. the boombox side has a tie because the initial desk jockey design did have ties! and i thought it would be an interesting homage to have one of them have a tie.

Well, the Stylus Pen finally came today. I've been experimenting a bit, and it works great so far! Good for small areas and details.

(I wanted pink, but the white color was a good $15-$20 cheaper than the others. Might have to wrap some post it notes around it so I don't lose sight of it).

I am still amazed that some people can just draw and paint a first draft of something using a computer/Iphone/Ipad. Meanwhile I am at work sketching drafts on post it notes and note-cards during lunch.

(I might post more later, I have some doodles and ideas for other pictures. Still need more Flower Hill imagery and maybe a passing hedgehog)

Which I then have to painstakingly create on graph paper, and then computer paper, and then upload it and go from there.

Anyway, the next picture is coming out a lot better, I think. I should actually be able to see it clearly once it has been uploaded, unlike previous pictures.

And honestly, in the future, I want this to look better now that I have better references (and maybe follow weaselfactoryex's suggestion to add other wolves passed out on the ground in the carnage that is the wolf commander's driving. Only after I figure out how to draw individuals laying down).
