Avoiding social gatherings to go for another swim-- Resulting a certain few people to go looking for him... YET AGAIN. The hope was swimming laps around the islands and explore the deep waters... For almost a day. With his physical prowess, no one could keep up with him. All until Kaede found him lounging in the sand right at sunset.

"Before you go on a tangent about my safety and not telling anyone; I'm grown. I don't need permission to go swimming, do I?"

".............." She could feel the corners of her lips twitch. Izuru was supposed to be joining in on the bonding activity for today, but he snuck off somewhere, again. And Kaede and some of the others went to go looking for him...again. The others, some sooner or later, eventually got so tired of looking for him that they just said 'forget it' and eventually went back to everyone else. Kaede still kept on looking, though, since she was honestly starting to grow worried about him. Kaede wasn't nowhere near as good a swimmer, so trying to actually go far out into the water to find him was definitely a no-go: so she was either trying to look far out into the horizon as she could, or just running around the beach, trying to look everywhere she possibly could for him. Then before she knew it, the sun was setting... and that's when she found him lounging in the sand.

"Y-You really love saying that, don't you. Izuru-senpai, I swear to god-"

She is Puffing her cheeks. She can't believe this boy!!! Much as she would love to lift him up and hurl him into the ocean, she decides to do the much nicer action, instead, by getting on her knees, gripping his shoulders, and shaking Izuru furiously!!!

"Hmmmph!!!! Dummy Izuru-senpai!! It's not about 'permission' and you know it! If you're gonna do your own thing, fine; and yeah yeah yeah, "you're grown", but if you just go off on your own without saying anything, y-you're gonna have people worry! I was looking for you for hours, you know....! Mmmnnghhh!!!" She is pouting harder and harder with each shake she gives him! "Anyway!! I'm dragging your emo butt back with me, whether you like it or not! I'll drag you by the feet if I have to!"

Out on his usual off jobs, Izuru sends a quick text to the detective with a picture attached to it. From the background, Izuru was working at a veterinary clinic. A job he didn't mind since it barely had any social interaction... And he had a fondness or animals. Being able to nurse them back to good health was always nice.

Shuichi in the meanwhile, was doing the usual of taking care of some paperwork, just to get it out of the way. When he gets a text notification, he pauses to pick up his phone and read it, smiling when seeing they're from Izuru.

"Oh my god." He chuckles at the message and the attached photo he sent. "H-Hehehe... he's so silly.... do I really have that kind of face when I do?!"

Then, he'll reply back with:

"But who wouldn't, really?" He thinks out loud to himself with a giggle, blushing at his own words. Even just this silly little text, brightened his day that much more.

Yup, but he's not the best at creating them though, and will forget them at times, so most of the time he sticks to their name... Or a nickname if they have it.

Usually through acts of service, whether its helping her partner with a task or making food for them. Though, she does also like to be physically close with them, she's just a little nervous about hugs and stuff.

Her ideal date... She's honestly okay with more simple things like staying in and spending time together that way or going out to a restaurant.

But if you want to see her really excited, go stargazing with her and let her ramble about all the different stars and constellations you see. She knows the best spots too.

Kaede had baked some cookies! She was initially going to bake some regular ones, but she thought it would be more fun to get creative with it. And since Izuru was hanging out today, she thought of the perfect idea: making ones shaped like him and her! The moment she took them out the oven and placed the tray on top of it, she giggles at how well they came out. "Cute! I knew it was a good idea~! I've got to take a picture!" But just as she was getting her cellphone out so she could do that-

"Bwaaah?!" She yelps when she sees Izuru pick up the cookie shaped like her, take a bite out of her head, and puts it back! "H-Hey!! Izuru-senpaiii! Why'd you do that, I was gonna take a pictureee! At least wait until after I take it, geez!"

Now she is Puffing her cheeks while giving a light swat to his chest! "...Does it taste good, at least?" Maybe she'll get a bite out of his head before she takes the pic, for good measure....

Thematic Headcanons

Julian prefers hot drinks over cold because his teeth are really sensitive when it comes to drinks. Overly hot drinks like hot chocolate however seem to be easier on his teeth, but ice cold drinks like an iced coffee or even just ice cold water will make his teeth feel like they're "stinging" as he puts it.

Sylvia used to despise coffee. It's still not her favorite thing in the world, but as a teenager there was something about it that made her face scrunch up when she drank it. The taste has grown on her after she's tried a couple different flavors though. That, and the caffeine keeps her going in the early mornings

Angel LOVES boba/bubble tea! It was the first drink she tried when she got to the surface, thanks to an outing with Pearl and Marina, and she was hooked when she tried it. She's mainly a fan of the mango tea, it feels a little nostalgic for some reason...

(not a request, just some thoughts to ponder! godspeed regarding exams dear elle <3)

Thinking about ploy!marauders x reader who get together after Harry's been born? I would think that Remus and Sirius would have been together since school. But reader's always been stuck pining after her loves who were all already in relationships.

But once James and Lily separate the dynamic shifts and I can totally picture Sirius throwing it out there that they should all give being together a good go. James and Lily are still good friends, happily co-parenting.

Just stuck on the idea of what you think the reader and marauders role in raising Harry would be? would they be auntie and uncles? or function more like step-parents? And when James has Harry for the week how would that change their routine? Curious to hear your thoughts!

okay okay okay okay I don't have a fic for this but I have another request that I think needs this background for the head canon's I've been obsessed with based off of this suggestion (with @unstablereader's help)

so this isn't a fic but this is an inside look on how a lot of my fics are formulated 🤣😭

okay so I always hate the idea of Lily and James separating 😭 so either it was super amicable OR maybe Harry was the result of a drunken hook up between the two friends?? (before Jamie was with the other Marauders)

either way, I totally think the other's would have a parental/step-parent role. Like if the boys weren't called papa (Sirius) or da (Remus) etc, he'd certainly be like "at my house with my daddy and my moony and my pads!" and Pandora (I love me some good Pandalily) would be 'ma' and Lily was mummy.

So where @unstablereader and I went wild was maybe reader was our whimsical reader? And when Harry was quite young (toddler) and Siri & Jamie were aurors (so would be at work) and in a Voldemort free au we figured maybe Rem would start teaching earlier? That reader would watch Harry for them when it was Jamie's week with their son

And the boys were all obviously in love with her but none of them did anything about it yet. So we imagined this happening during one of Lily & James' exchanges or parent dates:

Lily: so, Y/N's been around a lot lately, yeah? James: oh yeah she's amazing; I mean, three of us and still our household would probably crash and burn if not for her Lily: *knowing smirk*, hm, so when are you guys going to make it official? James: I beg your pardon? Lily: please, Potter. I see the way you blokes look at her James: no no, it's not like that... *not convincing at all* Lily: James. Do you know what Harry calls her? James:........ Lily: he calls her "lovie". in fact, he calls her "his lovie". He thinks that's her name, James. James:...... then we imagined that maybe Sirius and Rem were close by

Sirius: *barges in out of no where* NO RED PLEASE YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO US Remus: Sorry guys, I tried to tell him to leave you guys to it. But now that we're here: Lils, please have mercy. The three of us can compete with you and Pandora??? Lily: you guys have a week and then fair's fair.

so a week later when Lily comes by to pick Harry up and reader is there

Lily: *sultry* hello darling y/n: Hello Lily! You know, if you'd asked first I would've said yes Lily: well if they don't treat you right, you know where to find us *James & Sirius come racing over* James: lovie, step away from the door right now Sirius: no more talking to Evans unsupervised *Remus walks in with Harry on his hip* Harry [speaking toddlerese]: mummy! is my wuvie going to wive at bof of Harry's houses?
