I saw @comikbook started a dtiys and I've loved their work since 2022 and I was SO EXCITED to draw Mercy 😋

I wonder if Pyrrha's survival was to some degree intended. If G1deon and her planned something.

We know Mercy and Augustine ascended because they were pushed into it through a suicide pact. G1deon was next, and it's been theorized that he and Pyrrha were also pushed into it, possibly because of the RB attack or Alecto throwing a “tantrum” (since Pyrrha recognizes Nona's, and seems to have serious trauma related to it).

What if they were planning on innovating, and they just didn't have time? Or maybe they were just rushing.

I think until Anastasia tried (which might have happened very early), the rest of the lyctors hadn't give up on developing a better way. But once several of them had killed or eaten their friends, it just became harder and harder to consider that maybe there had been a better way.
