For all of the yutu's, which ones are more papa's boy(s) and which ones are more parent's (yuu) boy(s)?
Ah good question lets see... I think most of them start out having Yuu as the favorite because that's who raised him, but that changes after they finally get to meet their dad. For some of them anyway.
notes: this is part of my fyuuture kid au, information about which can be found on my masterlist under the series section.
Heartslabyul
Riddle
Bad timeline! Riddle Yutu is Yuu's little baby with massive daddy issues because it's hard to be a papa's boy when he's not around ;-;. Good timeline! Yutu is a Papa's boy, he wants Riddle's approval so so so badly, he's always bringing his tests home to be hung up on the fridge so he can be praised.
Trey
Yutu likes Yuu best, Yutres is a daddy's girl, and Yushi says she has no preference but her favorite parent is whichever one is going to give her permission to do what she wants at that particular moment.
Cater
Doesn't have a preference. He loves both of his parents equally and just wants them both to be together in the same house. He relates to his father heavily, but one of the things they have in common is how fun they find it to be around Yuu.
Ace
Ace! Yutu takes after his father in a lot of ways! One of those is that Yuu is his favorite person and everyone else is mid in comparison (he does love his dad too ofc he just enjoys getting under his skin.)
Deuce
Bad timeline! Yutu is very much a parent's boy but I think good timeline! Yutu is actually a grandma's boy. I can see Dilla spending a lot of time helping Yuu and Deuce out and she just screams that she would be a cool grandma. Hopefully Yutu also really likes eggs.
Savanaclaw
Leona
Daddy's boy. Leona! Yutu loves Yuu don't get it twisted but he wants to be like his dad so badly. There's just something about that grumpy lion that makes little kids ask "is this a role model?" and then not wait for an answer before trying to climb all over his back while he pretends to swat them off.
Ruggie
Bad timeline! Yutu is a parents boy, good timeline! Yutu has no preference. He loves both of you so much! His dad is so cool and Yuu are the best, how could he possibly pick which one of his parents is better?
Jack
Doesn't have a preference. He acts super aloof about it, like he's beyond the need for his parents but really he wants to make the two of you super proud with how self sufficient he is. It makes his tail wag really fast.
Octavinelle
Azul
Parent's boy. He does mend a lot of his issues with his father in the good timeline, but he just likes being spoiled by Yuu no matter what timeline he's in.
Jade
As previously established the only form of authority Yutu respects is his parent, Yuu. He does get softer on his dad in the good timeline, but Yuu is still number one in his heart.
Floyd
Depends on his mood. Sometimes Yutu is a daddy's boy, other times he's yuu's baby. There's no real rhyme or reason to when or why, unless he's in serious trouble then he always goes to Floyd because he's at least got a 50/50 shot of leniency there.
Scarabia
Kalim
You are both his favorite. His father is wonderful and so full of life and his parent loves him so much. He thinks you are both the most important, and gets very defensive about it.
Jamil
Good timeline! Yutu is a parent's boy as a baby but grows into a daddy's boy as he ages and comes into his own. He loves both of you so much it could be a burden under the wrong circumstances.
Pomefiore
Vil
Daddy's boy. It runs in the family and Vil embraces it wholeheartedly. A part of him has always wanted this, he didn't think it was possible to be even more grateful for your love than he was but Yutu is such a gift he swears he's re-learned the meaning all over again.
Rook
Roland is the daddy's boy, and Yutu is the parent's boy. It makes Rook weep to wonder about what would happen if perhaps if you had a little girl? ( ā¢ĢĢÆ ^ ā¢ĢĢÆ) no? ( ā¢ĢĢÆ ^ ā¢ĢĢÆ) he just thinks that maybe it would be fun to see what would happen- (he is on his knees begging please please please he wants to be a girl dad so bad)
Epel
Parent's boy. He has an alliance with his dad though, it's super sweet to see them run up to you in the middle of the fields with apple blossoms they spent lunch picking to give you. Your boys love you very much.
Ignihyde
Idia
Uncle's boy. He loves both of his parents equally but Ortho is easily his favorite person and can you really blame him? Idia doesn't he's really happy to see Ortho embraced by his son as part of the family.
Diasomnia
Malleus
Princess Tamago is daddy's little princess of course, but I think both of the kids like Yuu best. Malleus isn't jealous at all, no not at all say Yuu, he is your favorite right? Because you are his too and he was here first-
Lilia
Silver is his favorite person, but Yuu is a close second. Lilia likes to fake cry about this because baby Yutu would get all offended and scream about how he was being silly because he loved him too! Ah yes but he's not Yutu's favorite oh woe is him.
Silver
Daddy's boy in theory, parent's boy in practice. He loves his dad but they're both a bit dense so connecting with each other can be difficult sometimes. It doesn't diminish the strength of their connection any, but it does cause some angst in those teen years.
Sebek
Parent's boy. Sebek Yutu thinks of Yuu the same way Sebek does Malleus, but he's much more normal about it as he gets older than Sebek ever was. (He does think his dad is cool but he doesn't want to admit it.)
Extra
Rollo
Parent's boy but Rollo is absolutely whipped for his child. Rollo isn't always the best at communicating his feelings, and he's very determined to not have the same thing happen to his child as happened to his brother. When Yutu looks up at him with his little eyes and calls him Papa... it melts him. He's very proud of him he's just not always as loud about it as Yutu might like.

ahahahahaha I liked mc's request at a girls' sleepover jiji I would like to ask for something similar, for vile schoenheit, when mc fem deliberately excludes him from the sleepover, telling him that he can't go because, at the sleepover they will do girly things "like putting on makeup , wear masks and gossip" duh~ ....but the truth mc only said it as a trap/joke to see if he would come anyway or not xd idk a casual joke to the queen ā©Īµ(Ā“ļ½”ā¢įā¢`)ć£ š thanks!
How Vil would react to getting denied to a sleepover
Notes: Fem Reader. Vil is a spiteful little mf
ššš
šOffended? Him? Of course not, hahaha, why would he, Vil Schoenheit, be offended?
šHe is 100% offended. He is absolutely outraged. So, he does the next logical thing: he goes with Rook to the spa to rant about it.
šIf you're going to have a sleepover without him, then he's going to the spa without you. Take THAT!!
šAnd why would you even think he wouldn't like it if it was girly???? He's Vil Schoenheit, for crying out loud, he would wear the most sparckly dress ever if it was fashionable!
šAs you repeatedely try to call him to tell him the joke, he's busy getting his nails painted bright pink while a beauty mask and cuncumbers rests on his face.
šAfter a good mud bath, his nerves are finally calmed down, so he comes home to his dorm.
šThere, he sees all of the missed calls you left. Still, he doesn't call you back and lets you wait a bit more before calling you back. What did you expect? He's extremely spiteful.
šAnd since he doesn't answer to his phone anymore, you decide to call Rook instead, because it's almost certain they're together.
šWho to choose? You or Roi du Poison? Hard choice indeed, Rook.
šIn the end, he chose both as he helped you organize another sleepover, inviting Vil this time.
šWhen he finally arrives, you get the chance to explain everything to him. He forgives you... But now he's throwing a boy's sleepover, and you're certainly not invited.
ššš
Hope you enjoyed!
Have a good day/night!

All right, resuming Veilguard adventures - we're off to the first real mission!
Girl's trip to the ritual site! \o/
The game is continuing to make a really big deal about Neve having been injured, which is doing me a concern. I guess with three dwarves in the party, she doesn't have a ton of healing resources to draw on at this point.
Arlathan is looking much nicer now, and gets a fun title card; between this and Rook's method of opening doors in cutscenes, I'm starting to think there is definitely a Dark Souls fan somewhere in the DA design team:
"It's quiet," says Neve. "Well, isn't that a surprise?"
Harding points up the hill in the direction they ran (and then fled away from) last night. "There's the ritual site," she says. "But if the gods really did get out, they're not here anymore."
"Right," Helena says. "Let's take a look around, and see if we can find--"
She breaks off abruptly as Neve points up the ridge with an expression of alarm. It doesn't take her long to figure out why.
The peaceful morning air is split by the sudden sound of panicked, running feet. Three elves, glowing with magic flowing around them and through strange devices held in their hands, are fleeing from some sort of construct like nothing Helena has ever seen before.
(A/N: This was a very chaotic sequence and hard to get screenshots of but I did my best. XD )
It is some sort of stone, magic-powered soldier, which would be fascinating to look at if it wasn't bearing down on its quarry with a stone axe as long as the construct is tall.
Reaching the bottom of the ridge, two of the elves turn to stand and fight, while the third works furiously at the glowing sphere in her hands.
"Shut it down!" one of the men bellows.
"I'm trying!" the woman cries back, the panic in her voice evident. "It's not working! I can't contain it!"
Helena has her daggers out, ready to leap into the fray to defend these people, but before she can do anything, the man - who seems like he might be the leader of the group - takes matters into his own hands. With a powerful swing of his sword he slams the orb out of the woman's hands, shattering it apart in a brilliant burst of light and energy.
The construct, its axe lifting in the process of swinging down onto the third elf's head, staggers abruptly. The magical light fades from it, and then it collapses into the dirt, an inert pile of metal.
Silence. The three elves gasp heavily for breath, all sagging wearily as their adrenaline starts to fade.
Helena narrows her eyes, perplexed by the situation, but Harding makes a soft noise of realization and then steps forward.
"Strife? Irelin?" she says excitedly. "It's me, Lace Harding!"
The leader of the elves looks up in the midst of helping his comrade to his feet. "Harding?" he says, sounding surprised. "What are you doing back in Arlathan?"
"It's complicated," Harding says wryly.
The man frowns. "I can see that."
"Rook, Neve - this is Strife and Irelin," Harding explains. "Varric and I met them when we first started hunting down Solas. They're Veil Jumpers, experts in ancient elven magic."
The woman - Irelin - hangs her head. "Hardly 'experts'," she mutters. "I should have been able to shut that artifact down." She looks at the third member of their group, who has pulled himself up onto a nearby boulder and is trying to catch his breath. "I'm sorry, Tarith."
The man shrugs wordlessly.
"It's not your fault," Strife says quietly. "Since the sky ripped open, the magic's been surging. Bunch of artifacts that'd been dormant for centuries started coming alive," he goes on.
He squints at Harding warily. "This is because of Fen'Harel's -- sorry, *Solas's* -- ritual, isn't it?" There's a muted note of accusation in his voice. "You all were supposed to stop him."
(A/N: Maybe this is just me being super picky, but I feel like the VA direction happening here is... definitely not doing it for me. Strife sounds like he stepped out of a Call of Duty game. :/ )
"We did stop him!" Helena says, somewhat defensively. "The sky's not pulling itself apart anymore, is it?"
Strife raises an eyebrow at her. "But...?"
Helena tugs her lower lip with her teeth. "But it didn't go as cleanly as we hoped," she says. "Solas got pulled into the Fade, and two *somethings* got pulled out. Or... someones, I mean. Two of the evil elven gods. Elgar'nan and Ghilan'nain."
(A/N: OK, this strikes me as pretty odd. Is it common knowledge now that the Evanuris were tyrannical assholes? Because I'm pretty sure that as of the end of Trespasser, no one knew this but the Inquisition, so have they been going around spreading this information to randos? Why would the Dalish believe them wholesale? I will be the first to admit that I am not an expert on the elven portion of DA lore, but Strife and Irelin both have vallaslin which implies a certain level of devoutness to the elven gods, doesn't it? And yet they both seem to accept the phrase "evil elven gods" from Helena at face value.
I guess for the sake of expositional efficiency it simplifies things if everyone we talk to already know that Elgar'nan and Ghilan'nain are bad news, or the Veil Jumpers have their own information sources given their expertise, or there's information in Tevinter Nights or something that explains this. But it feels a bit out of nowhere.)
Irelin's eyes widen. "Mythal'enaste..." she whispers.
"The elven gods of old," Strife murmurs. "The Evanuris."
"If they truly have returned--" Irelin begins.
"Then things just got a whole lot worse," Strife says grimly.
(A/N: Why? Why do you think that? I know why *I* think that, but why do *you* think that? Game, I need clarification.)
Helena sighs at this reaction. The vallaslin on the two Jumpers' faces implies that they know way more about this than she does - and their grim tone suggests what they know is not good. "I was really hoping the Dread Wolf was lying to us about all of this," she says ruefully. She knew, deep down, that he wasn't - but it definitely would have simplified things.
Strife shakes his head. "He's the god of lies," he says, "but some things are sacrosanct even to him." His lips pull into a tight line. "He might be a bastard, but he's a damned sight better than the Evanuris."
"There's a reason Solas led a rebellion against the Evanuris," Irelin agrees tightly. "And a reason he imprisoned them."
"But now they've escaped," Strife mutters - and then is interrupted by a groan from their injured companion.
Irelin frowns. "Tarith's in bad shape," she says. "We need to get him back to camp."
"We've still got dozens of Veil Jumpers unaccounted for," Strife says doubtfully.
Helena perks up a little. This, at least, is something actionable; they're going to be running around these forests anyway, after all. "How can we help?" she asks promptly.
"We need to find Bellara Lutare," Irelin says. "She's the best there is at working with our ancient artifacts."
"And also at blowing them up," Strife says dryly.
A slow grin tugs at Helena's lips at that. This Bellara sounds like fun; Helena likes anyone who can appreciate a well-timed explosion. For her last few months with Varric, she's had very little chance to flex her skills in this regard.
"She went off looking for another artifact before this ritual shook everything loose," Irelin explains. "If anyone can get a handle on all this wild magic, and the artifacts it's setting off, it'll be her."
"Right," Neve says crisply. "You get your friend back to your camp, and--" She breaks off, presses a hand to her side with a grunt of pain. "We'll find Bellara."
Helena frowns. Neve has been insistent that she is still able to work despite her injuries, but it is starting to seem more and more doubtful. The regular winces, the slight limp, the tight voice - all of these do not match the capability Helena saw her display in Minrathous.
Perhaps these new allies provide an angle to take Neve off the front lines, at least temporarily. Or - perhaps the Veil Jumpers have proper healing available that they don't have at the Lighthouse.
"Neve," she says carefully, "I need you to stay with Strife and Irelin, all right?"
"I'm fine," Neve says irritably, but Helena shakes her head.
"You're the best detective in Minrathous," she says placatingly. "You can help the Veil Jumpers here. If trouble shows up, they could use your skills."
Neve squints at her and her lips twitch, and Helena can tell she isn't taken in for a moment by the misdirection - or the flattery. But perhaps she does see the wisdom in Helena's decision anyway, because she nods. "Fair enough."
"We'll meet you back at the Veil Jumper camp," Irelin says eagerly. "It's just south of here."
"Bellara's out near some elven ruins to the west," Strife adds. "Least she was, three days ago. I'd start your search there."
Helena nods, settling her bow more comfortably over her shoulder. Irelin smiles, seeming deeply relieved to have some new allies in their efforts here.
"Good luck, Rook," she says earnestly. "And thank you."

Dragon Age: The Veilguard
Just finished.
I quite enjoyed it, although I wish there was more stuff to connect it to previous games. The identity of Divine Victoria for example. Red lyrium is barely a thing at all in this game. And what happened to the crew after Inquisition? Either Cassandra, Leliana or Vivienne - we don't know who - became Divine Victoria.
Dorian shows up here and there, and Harding and Varric are on the new crew. And of course Solas is hanging around, being terrible.
None one else gets more than a few get passing mentions, if even that and nothing about what they're actually doing. Helping the Inquisitor, presumably. I don't think Vivienne or The Iron Bull or Blackwall or Cullen even get mentioned at all. Poor Cullen.
Anyway, for a lark, let's see how Veilguard stands against Inquisition and Numero Dos. I never finished Origins. I meant to, but you know how that goes. Something came up, then something else, then something else. And by the time you've got free time you've completely forgotten about its entire existence until you're writing a tumblr post about its third sequel.
Oh well. Que sera sera.
=========
As to combat, Inquisition's was better. I got sick of Veilguard's combat after only a few hours. Switched down to the lowest difficulty and have no great interest in turning it back up again.
----
Inquisition's story was more interesting. Just felt like it had more oomph. Maybe it picks up again in the last ten minutes or some shit. Idunno.
-----
Music. Didn't even notice the music half the time. I guess put Inquisition down for better music.
-----
Now the important part. As to characters, my Inquisitor was much more charming than my Rook to my mind. Elf and Dwarf alike. Never played a human Inky. Or a Qunari Inky for that matter.
My Dwarf Inquisitor was much more handsome (at least in the Inquisition art style) than my Dwarf Rook, but I will admit that I think my Elf Rook is better looking than my Elf Inquisitor, in both art styles. Elf Rook has a better ass than Elf Inky.
Don't really have any advisors like Leliana, Josephine and Cullen in this game. All we've got is Solas. And Solas is terrible. And I guess Varric. But he mostly just hangs out in bed all day. I can't blame him for wanting to sit this one out. He's already been through two catastrophes and is getting too old for this shit. Gotta let the new kid lead the troops.
As far as the companions go:
Resident Dwarf rogue. While Harding, a recurring secondary character from Inquisition, is no Varric, she is a good egg and she's a good choice if your party is in need of a rogue. She was in my team for the final battle, actually. Also her side-story is easily the most interesting and probably the most connected to DA lore. 10/10. The goodest of good beans and certified best girl.
A snarky and fashionable female Tevinter mage who fights the bad guys and doesn't afraid of anything, Neve is like a cross between Dorian and Vivienne, and the whole is greater than the sum of her parts. None of Vivienne's characteristic haughtiness and none of Dorian's unfortunate defense of slavery as an institution. Yeesh. Anyway, 10/10 for Neve. No notes.
Bellara, a elf mage and an archer. She's kinda like a cross between Solas and Sera, except that Solas is terrible and Bellara isn't terrible. Bellara is charming and friendly and not terrible. 10/10. No notes.
Lucanis... Cole had a hat. Lucanis doesn't have a hat. Eh. He's a good bean, but honestly, Lucanis is probably the least interesting among the cast. Well that's not to say I dislike him. I just don't find him as interesting as the others.
Davrin>Blackwall. All day every day. Not even a contest. Even if you ignore Blackwall's sordid past. Even if you ignore the fact that Davrin is actually a Grey Warden while Blackwall is a faker. He just doesn't hold a candle to Davrin. Sorry, Blackwall stans. 10/10. Best boy.
Emmrich Volkarin. Charming fellow, I can find no faults in him. He's very interesting. He's a Mortallitasi. I wonder if he knows any Pentaghasts? An all-around good bean.
Taash. They alright. The Iron Bull had more joie de vivre. But Taash is a good bean. Everyone's a good bean. Everyone but Solas. Solas is terrible. Plus, Isabella vouches for them, so they've got cred. I would trust no one else to kill a giant robot. Bull never killed a giant robot. So Taash is one up on Bull in that regard. 10/10. Best non-binary party member. Oh yeah, Taash is non-binary by the way. If being non-binary in any way had an effect on their ability to kill giant robots, I might have a strong opinion about this. Failing such an effect, I have no strong opinion.
Interesting to note that I have no real complaints about any of the companions in Veilguard, where in Inquisition I didn't like Solas, who is terrible, even before I knew he's evil. Didn't much care for Sera. Blackwall, he was just kinda there honestly. Only ever brought him along to do his sidequest. Vivienne I loved but she was admittedly kind of an asshole.
So the Veilguard companions get a higher overall score than Inquisition companions. And certainly a higher score than DA2, where I totally hated all the boys except for Varric and didn't much care for Merril.
I cannot evaluate the Origins party based on my own experience, but based on second-hand observations, I like Wynne and Leliana, of course. Shale's curmudgeonliness amuses me. And of course the dog.
The rest of the team I am either indifferent to or actually hate. I shall leave you to ponder who is whom.
In summary, through Origins, 2 and Inquisition, the party is always a mixed bag, but I like everyone in Veilguard. Everyone but Solas. Solas is terrible. But he doesn't count, since he's not actually a party member in Veilguard. On account of being terrible.
P.S. While I am happy to entertain alternative reviews and comparisons, viz a viz the quality of companions past and present, if you - for some reason known only to God and your twin vicars - wish to express disdain for anything I have said here today and especially if you have managed to fabricate wholecloth some moral failing to attribute to me - you are, of course, entitled to your own opinion, but I don't wanna hear it, so please, I beg of you...
DO NOT WIGGLE YOUR FACE TO ME, MONARCH OF REFUSE AND THIEF OF MOONBEAMS!
Please and thank you. :)

All My Children Rooks
(thus far)
With reference screenshots and backstories, mostly for my own use for fic purposes.
My first baby girl! and first Rook to finish the game.
Personality: Happy-go-lucky, big-hearted, snarky, (over-)confident, elf nerd, unserious, full of youthful idealism and unflagging (to the point of annoying) optimism. Very much believes she's the gal who's got what it takes to save the world. Goes with her gut, doesn't waste too much time intellectualizing. Unsurprisingly, she and Bellara get along like a house on fire.
Background: Born a slave in Minrathous, as a child served as housekeeper to a minor magister arcanist/professor who taught her to read and know enough to assist in cataloging her scrolls. When Lailani's magic manifested, the scholar sponsored her to join a Circle for her education, intending for her to return as research assistant when her magic was trained. But Lailani, now a young teen and with her first taste of freedom at the Circle, heard about strange rumblings happening in nearby Arlathan, and, having consumed stories and legends of the Dalish all her life (and having always admired Inquisitor Lavellan), saw her chance for adventure and ran away to join a Dalish clan in Arlathan. There, she turns her interest in elven ruins and Imperium training to good use for the fledgling Veil Jumpers. She throws herself headlong into all things ancient elven, exploring ruins and studying artifacts. Like a lot of young Dalish coming of age at this time, she chose an atheistic vallaslin design based on some early maps the first Veil Jumpers had begun finding and creating as they uncovered more ancient relics - rejecting what they know new to be marks of subservience to long-ago tyrants. Met Varric and Harding when they worked with Strife, and, still hungry for adventure, offered to help if they ever needed it again.
View on Solas: Has a complicated relationship with elven culture in general. The Fade and all that ancient elves accomplished with magic is both exciting and fascinating; she wants to be proud of her people and see the good in ancient elves, wants to believe there was something good in the Evanuris, once. She gives Solas the benefit of the doubt because she respects what he was trying to do, but comes across to him like a defiant child who doesn't understand what they are up against.
Inquisitor: Ellawyn Lavellan (romanced Iron Bull)
World state: HoF Mahariel, King Alistair, Leliana is Divine, Celene + Briala rule Orlais, Cole is a spirit, Hawke is alive.
Romance: Davrin
Swashbuckling pirate hero.
Personality: "He a little confused, but he got the spirit" meme personified. Here for the vibes. Severan is a big softie, a chill surfer dude, and a terrible liar (his every emotion shows on his face) . More competent than he might appear. Doesn't take life too seriously, but is seriously good at what he does. Can't ever pass a dog or cat without giving it a pet, and can't ever let a serious moment pass without making a joke to ease the tension. Flirty and adventurous, he's here for a good time, not a long time. Doesn't really know what's going on with all this elvish stuff, but doesn't want the world to end, and he's got this dagger, so...
Background: A swashbuckling treasure hunter, as cliche as they come. He was born on the sea, climbing the rigging as second nature. He knows, and wants, no other life, even though he spent the first half of it enslaved by Tevinter. A chance run-in with Isabela gave him a chance for freedom in the form of his own ship and crew, and once he proved competent and trustworthy, he began treasure runs and artifact hunting with the Lords. It was a good life for a while, living it up with plenty of coin, sea air and white sand beaches - until some Venatori started trouble in a port tavern where Severan was drinking on a break between jobs. He thought they were there for him - the Venatori were always looking for relics lately and causing trouble for the Lords - and inadvertently came to Varric and Harding's rescue.
View on Solas: Fascinated respect. Sort of knows he's out of his league, sort of falls for Solas's lies, but thinks outside the box in ways Solas does not expect.
Inquisitor: Atish'anera Lavellan (romanced Solas)
World state: King Alistair + Queen Cousland, Leliana is Divine, Cole is a spirit, Inquisition disbanded
Romance: TBD
Older brother to the Inquisitor. Solas broke his sister's heart, and he's here for some personal revenge.
Personality: Quietly clever, crafty, and cunning Rasim (banal'ras + him "become shadow") thinks more than he speaks, analyzing situations quickly before jumping into the best course of action. Wise, but also a wise-ass. My personal reincarnation of Felassan. On the surface, he puts you at ease by seeming glib, relaxed, and sarcastic, but he has a deep, dark ruthless streak. Inherently mistrustful of strangers, he wants to believe in the good of his companions, and trusts those that Varric and Lace trust. He comes across effortlessly charming and likeable at first meeting. That is, until you cross him - but you wouldn't even notice the moment he's decided your life needs to end, because he'll keep smirking the whole time. Fast, agile, he could throw knives on targets in his sleep and shoot bullseyes blindfolded. The Crows trained out any hesitance to kill, as well as any lingering instinct for mercy, but he lives by his own set of ethics, and does not follow instructions from the Crows, or anyone, blindly. Despite being a Crow longer than he was Dalish, if push came to shove, his first loyalty is to the elves (but don't tell Viago). He's accepted Antiva as his home and choose not to return to his clan when he had the chance - he believes himself too changed to return to the Dalish way of life.
Background: Rasim was on a ritual hunting trip with other youths of his clan, seeking their first kill to earn their vallaslin, when they were attacked in the night. Those who fought back were killed, and the rest captured and taken north on a slaver's ship. On the journey they were kept overnight in a warehouse in Antiva. Rasim figured out how to open the cage they were in and waited for the right moment to strike back at the men holding him, but just before he could, the Crows executed a contract they had on the slaver. Rasim was free to go - but he was a bare-faced elf in Antiva, far from home, with no money or contacts and no way to get back to his clan. Viago was impressed by Rasim's "scrappiness" and his ingenuity in lockpicking his own shackles, so when Rasim asked to be trained as a Crow, he accepted him, despite him being much older than the usual fledglings. Though he had only joined the Crows for protection and to learn how to defend himself, his charm, his experience as a hunter, knowledge of Dalish uses for poison plants, and his agility helped make him a standout. But the Mage-Templar war soon broke out, and the chaos leading up to the Inquisition prevented him from finding his clan, as by now they could be anywhere. Years later, when he became a full-fledged Crow and had earned money and independence, he was able to make contact with the Dalish again through a nearby travelling clan, and finally get the vallaslin he had earned all those years ago. That clan put him in touch with his own former clan, and Rasim was able to reach out again to let them know he was still alive. And that's when he learned his younger sister Anera had, in his absence, become the First of the clan, and then, to his great surprise, the Herald of Andraste. Brother and sister finally reconnected again after the Inquisition, and it was Anera who recommended her brother to Varric, as someone already on the inside of things going on in the north.
View on Solas: The bastard elven god who slept with his sister, offered to take her vallaslin, and then broke up with her. His ex-almost-brother-in-law. Rasim has the urge to get a little revenge for his sister, but for her sake, he tries to keep an open mind about the guy she (apparently still?) loves. Rasim works the angles on Solas as much as Solas does to him, his sharp mind and insight from Anera on his psyche giving him a bit of an unexpected advantage that sets Solas aback. Rasim tries to see what Anera saw in Solas, he really does, and while he hopes to bring him to heel for her, he wouldn't mind roughing him up a bit in the process.
Inquisitor: Atish'anera Lavellan (romanced Solas)
World State: same as Severan
Love Interest: Either Bellara or Lucanis.
Based on Vessel from Sleep Token (in terms of visual design, at least)
Personality: A bastard-coated bastard with bastard filling. Doesn't see the point in sparing anyone's feelings and doesn't mince his words. Smart, independent, stubborn, doesn't listen to anyone who tells him to cool it.
In actual reality, has a deep sense of justice that is constantly being betrayed, leading to him being angry at the world, 24/7. He's angry, always angry, at the inequality he sees all around him, and the incompetence and corruption of everyone who he believes should be doing something about it and would rather ignore it. A problem solver who's used to only relying on himself and trusts no one else to do what needs done. Will cut to the chase and tell you - rudely - to get to the point. He thinks the world and most of the people in it suck, and that's why he's working to rid the world of those people, in the most efficient way possible. His esteem is hard-earned, but he has no trouble offering it where it's deserved, and he treats those few who he deems worthy with the respect of an equal. There is another side of him, but the only ones who ever see it - and only briefly - are the slaves he helps smuggle out of Minrathous, and the genuinely innocent victims, forgotten by the powerful of Tevinter.
Background: He hates his adoptive father with a cold passion. He was never going to fight for the side of Tevinter, so they were always at odds. He learned to sneak out of the house at an early age, where he was mostly surviving on his own - it's where he learned to be sneaky, and learned to navigate the underbelly and dark alleys of Minrathrous. He doesn't use the given name from his adoptive family but goes by a codename, Vessel, as he prefers thinking of himself only as a vessel for justice (and sometimes, vengeance.) Learned how to blend in easily with other groups and factions; a one-man spy operation, working mostly independently so as to be untraceable, with occasional trusted contacts in the Shadow Dragons. Keeps his face and identity secret as much as possible, so that his doings don't get reported back to Mercar or that connection used against him. He only uses his surname when the weight of the title could be useful. He's a loner who isn't used to working with a team, and struggles with how to trust and connect to others, as he's worked hard to never need anyone.
Antaam-turned-Warden, my interpretation of a "What happened if Sten from Origins went the way of Iron Bull from Inquisition?"
Personality: Still...developing. His personality for most of his life was reduced to "kill things for the Qun" and he was heavily disincentivized in thinking about anything else. He's innately curious, and learning it's okay to ask questions, but he still has the instinct to hit first, ask later. Surprises himself with random moments of wanting to do things the Qun wouldn't have wanted him to think, care about, or do. Things that have no purpose, like the urge to admire the view, pet a cat, or save an innocent civilian. He means well, most of the time, but tends to stick his foot in his mouth, as he's still learning how the bas talk to each other. He's not used to talking, in general.
Background: Among the earlier waves of Antaam that broke from the Qun to invade on their own, Basreth was just a cog in the Qunari war machine, not an individual who had been allowed to develop many of his own interests or opinions about much. His squad of fairly new young soldiers were sent to investigate a report of rogue darkspawn, and they were caught by surprise and overwhelmed. Basreth was the sole survivor, though left infected by the Blight. he had accepted death, as he was no longer pure in the Qun - when the Grey Wardens showed up to investigate the same darkspawn. Impressed that Basreth had finished them off alone and survived, they offered for him to join the Grey Wardens, convincing him that dedicating his life to killing darkspawn was a better use of his body than letting it rot to bones that served no one, and therefore a more honorable choice in the eyes of the Qun. He accepted, and became Basreth, "thing that protects." He is not Tal-Vasoth, but neither is he truly Qunari anymore. Instead, he's thrown his entire fledgling identity into that of a Grey Warden, channeling all the single-minded loyalty that used to go to the Qun into his masters.
Created solely to romance Emmrich, lol
Personality: A scientific, creative open mind paired with bull-headed stubbornness when she knows she's right. Studious, rational, curious, who loves intellectual debate and schooling others she sees as less well-read. A bad-ass mage who likes showing off. Dry wit. Reads obscure high-brow literature and offers to discuss it, acts surprised when others have heard of her favorite scholarly papers.

Got some info about my Yuu that I wanted to share, which I'll put underneath the cut
I don't know if I've ever mentioned this before, and y'all probably already know this just based on certain scenes I've written, but Yuu can be pretty oblivious when it comes to people's feelings about her, more specifically the feelings of people who actually like her/think favorably of her.
The only exceptions are Yuu's sons since she knows her boys so well and understands that they love her very much. Plus, their feelings are so obvious when she showers them with physical affection lol
However, Yuu doesn't know that Ace and Deuce have crushes on her since nothing about their behavior around her comes across as being romantic, which is understandable since Deuce is just as oblivious about his crush and Ace is in total denial about his š
Regarding the faculty, Yuu really doesn't understand that they all have a soft spot for her since she's so distrusting of them at first, and for a while, her thoughts when around them were focused on gauging what kind of threat they were to her, seeing if they were anything like the adults from her past, etc.
Whenever they're nice to her, Yuu, after realizing there's no hidden ulterior motives behind their actions, just assumes they treat her well cause she's one of the only students who actually behaves in class and cause she's a girl since they all seem like the type of guys who were raised to be gentlemen.
Regarding Yuu's upperclassmen, Yuu knows that her older friends care about her, but she has a tendency to underestimate/downplay those feelings since the majority of the guys are so dishonest about their feelings.
Kalim/Silver are exceptions since those two are always honest and never hide anything from Yuu, and so is Ruggie cause he can't help but make his feelings about Yuu obvious due to how overprotective he is haha
While Rook is also very honest, he also can be hard to read at times, so Yuu doesn't completely understand him/can't fully read him and his intentions sometimes.
Her obliviousness is why Yuu never believes Ace/Cater when they say she's Riddle/Trey's favorite first year since she really doesn't realize how much those two favor her and she has no idea how Trey would absolutely spoil her rotten if she ever gave him the opportunity lol
It's also part of the reason why Lilia's desire to adopt her goes over her head. Like the main reason is that Silver/Sebek told her not to take Lilia seriously, but they were able to succeed in convincing her cause Yuu doesn't realize that Lilia likes her so much to the point that he wants to make her his daughter.
The reason Yuu is oblivious about so many people's feelings about her is cause, after going most of her life being unloved and dealing with all of Mumei's abuse, she has really low self-esteem, which makes it hard for her to believe that people really do care as much as they do about her.
For so many years, she received the bare minimum and she didn't even always get that much so she's more than satisfied to get at least that from her friends and tries not to ask for/expect more.
Plus, Yuu gets so much love from her sons, more than she ever thought would be possible for someone like her, so her need for physical affection/love is easily met through them.
This lowkey makes some of the upperclassmen envious. Like they don't want to be in the first years' shoes cause no one wants to constantly deal with Yuu's mothering and all her "embarrassing" physical affection.
However, they DO want Yuu to rely on them more and seek out their affection/attention. A lot of them are kinda like cats ngl lol š
It kinda strokes their egos whenever Yuu seeks them out since she's normally more independent around her upperclassmen, so in a way, it's also all about bragging rights cause you can bet the majority of the upperclassmen would hang this over the heads of the other guys, like what Leona always does whenever his dorm is one of the only ones that never harasses Yuu lol

the magician and the tower for the rook asks!
yesyesyesyes very good. Let us begin.
The Magician: What are Rook's thoughts on Solas? Do they change as the story progresses?
I don't think that when the story starts Nephele has thought much about Solas as a person or even as a "god". She knows what Varric has told her and that overall the objection is "stop that egg, but try not to crack him". She accepted that. She's very comfortable following orders from people she trusts. Why think about it too hard if someone else has already done the research and leg work?
Of course things start to get a little more complicated after they interrupt the ritual. First off she just gets the vibe that this is a guy that refuses to admit he fucked up, or god forbid someone else could have a good idea. She isn't going to outright argue with that guy, because there's no point - he's never going to see your point of view. But we can fuck with him a little bit (You have traded verbal barbs core)
But also, she's not stupid or reckless. They don't really understand HOW the connection works exactly, or the limits of what he can do with it. So we can poke the bear a little, but we don't want to do anything that might make him decide to just explode our head (just in case).
Through finding the memories and regrets, she doesn't develop sympathy per se, but definitely context. She understands while his actions are ultimately incredibly harmful, the reasoning behind them is a little more complicated than "I think I know more than you". Doesn't make him that much less annoying, but she is more patient and understanding when she speaks with him.
HOWEVER.
WHEN THIS FUCKING EGG.
DO WHAT HE DO.
Fuck this man. Fuck everything about this man. Fuck his stupid smarmy attitude. Fuck his vendettas. And fuck the Bog Unicorn he rode in on. Nephele has a long fuse, but when it's out, it's OUT.
She goes in to the final battle fully ready to kill this asshole. But at the last second...I don't know...does killing him really do anything helpful? It would make a couple of people feel better, but ultimately, they would still have to deal with the problem of a damaged Veil, with very little understanding of how to do that. Also, if he dies, he never has to deal with ACTUAL remorse. He never has to come to terms with what he's done, he never gets to make meaningful reparations. Maybe he won't anyway. Maybe his attitude after talking to Mythal is still a trick, and we'll be back where we started 8 more years from now. But no one can say she didn't try.
The Tower: How does Rook respond to unexpected catastrophe?
Bad.
Well I guess it depends on what we mean by catastrophe. Plans go wrong? This girl is a master improvisor. She can not be phased. She doesn't have a Plan B (was there really a plan A?), but she is great at making it up as she goes. Even if it STILL doesn't work out...eh, such is life. No one's batting 1000 all the time.
But if her actions lead to other people's death, that is not something we can shrug off and say "ah well, better off next time".
Nephele is a Shadow Dragon, and choosing to save Treviso, even though she believes it was the right choice, nearly broke her and altered the way I played her and watched her develop as a character for the rest of the game.
If you don't allow yourself to have deep relationships with people, or let them get to know you beyond a surface level, it's easy to believe you can't hurt each other. Nephele was never hurt by not forming meaningful relationships. But she also wasn't healed. And she absolutely hurt a lot of people while trying her absolute best to do the right thing and be a good person.
But she's not naive. She knows someone has to make those choices, and like it or not she's the one that has been put in to the leadership role, whether or not it's something she's in any way qualified for.
So she's not looking for sympathy, and she's going to compartmentalize and keep going. She NEVER cries in front of other people. The last time she cried in front of someone else she was four years old and her step dad made sure she never made that mistake again.
Instead she waits as long as possible to go back to Minrathous. Like literally I did every side quest possible before going back there. I was fucking around in Arlathan looking for chests, I was upgrading shops. Anything to keep the game from moving forward and making Nepehele face the reality of the impact she could have on others. Which made it even more awful when she finally saw it. And she almost never took Neve with her on missions. Not because she was afraid of Neve hating her or yelling at her (she SHOULD scream at her), but because she assumed Neve didn't want to be around her and she was trying to be respectful. Which is heartbreaking as well because they are SO similar in so many ways and were really starting to form a solid friendship.
Things are a little better after Davrin and Assan's death. If Solas had stuck her in that prison after Minrathous' attack, she never would have gotten out. And tbh I don't know if anyone would have gone looking for her. But the moral of this story is that building relationships with others allows you to see yourself more clearly. It allows you to see all the good you bring to people's lives, and all the ways they would hurt if you weren't there.
Davrin's death was not her fault, nor was it her responsibility. Shit happens. Bellara being taken was not her fault, but if she wanted any chance of getting her back, she needed to get over herself and find a way out. Wallowing isn't going to help, but you can feel sadness without letting it overcome you.
I also can not overstate the importance of Inner Demons in relation to this moment. I haven't done a full play through yet where you save Minrathous and it is BONKERS to me that you just don't get it if you do. This was my favorite companion moment, not the least of which because I romanced Lucanis. But the entire time she was in the regret prison, she was able to say "Would I allow people to talk this way to the people I care about, and if not, why would I let them do it to me?"
You deserve the same grace as other people. And maybe a bit of that trickled down into why she let Solas go. It's harder though when you're the one that's been hurt. She's not perfect. She's a little Spiteful.

What types of students do you see attending a Night Raven sister school? Characters based on the princes, minor villains or what?
For the sister schools...I'm still trying to figure them all out as I have some ideas.
RSA sister school has: Florian -based on prince Florian from Snow white.
(Friend of Vil's, they have an interesting past together with Jack as the three of them are friends.)
Robin Hood -goes to that one as a girl
(I don't have much on her other than she's as good a shot as Rook and has won a number of competitions.)
Arthur/Wort -Sword in the stone girl
(Not much on her yet, she's still learning to be a swordswoman)
A spoiler character as I'm working out her chapter but she's part of the little mermaid.
NRC sister school has:
Magica DeSpell -Ducktales
(Bratty and self serving. Always looking out for number one, but also very cunning and will help out if it helps her.)
Amara -Once upon a Time in Wonderland
(Skilled junior with an eye on making a name for herself)
Dodger -Oliver and company
(She's got a heart of gold but it hides under sticky fingers.)
Cassandra -Tangled the series.
(There's a connection to a freshman that will be showing up in the second year for the group) That's who I have now. I'm still trying to consider how the girls school would be but it's called a Conservatory, while the RSA one has Prep in the name.
Most of my female characters stroll in when they feel like it. I haven't really thought long and hard on their schools since I haven't had plans, yet, in going to the school, but at some point I will.

Working on a detailed history of my Rook.
Zea Ingellvar (Mourn Watch, Warrior)
Abandoned at the necropolis by her destitute widower father, who had run out of options, and assumed that her recently deceased motherās spirit could gently guide the infant's soul to the afterlife.
Taken in by the Mourn watchers when dancing wisps helped a particular young necromancer in training locate her, snug in the arms of a skeleton.
Thus, despite her lack of magic, she somehow has an affinity for wisps, and also has an easy relationship with the undead. Deep down though, she wishes she was a mage.
In her teens, she was saddled with the burden of escorting a rather pompous young exchange student from Tevinter. They had a quite antagonistic relationship, with him looking down on her for not being a mage. And her looking down on him for being unable to do the most mundane tasks because he was accustomed to having slaves do it for them.
It came to a head when he makes one too many snide comments about how he has to listen to a girl who canāt even conjure veilfire, and she punches him square in the nose, taunting him that he must be used to having his slaves take the punches for him.
Afterwards, they become less antagonistic with each other, with the teenage boy extending an olive branch by claiming to the mourn watch that he ātrippedā, to save her from getting in shit.
Sheās actually sad to see him go when he ultimately decides necromancy isnāt his passion, and takes a position with another Tevinter magister.
War of the Banner happens in the midst of her hunting down some Venatori that have been disturbing the undead. Thatās how she meets Varric.
The Mourn Watch wishes to remain neutral, but she decides that while she respects the (un)dead, ultimately, that cannot come at the cost of the living, and breaks ranks with her fellow watchers to stop the battle before it grows out of control.
This gets her in hot water, and the head council has a majority decision to exile her.
This is seen as a death sentence to her, as the necropolis is all sheās ever known. Had Varric not given her a purpose, to hunt down a powerful mage whose actions would undoubtedly sow chaos with both the living and the dead, she may have just died out of despair.
The first few months are rough. She can count the amount of times she left the necropolis on one hand. The sun hurts her eyes, her skin, and she constantly wears a hood during the day.
The nights are not much better. Varric jokes that between him, Harding, and her, itās the HUMAN that is worried sheāll get sucked up into the sky. Eventually she calms down by imagining those stars are wisps twinkling above her.
Varric also helps by telling tales of his adventures. Heās surprised how much she loves hearing stories about Cassandra, a fellow Nevvaran, as opposed to Hawke or the Inquisitor.
Heās less surprised at how much romance literature she consumes. He assumes it must be a Nevarran thing.
She can read, fight, and observe with very little illumination, although as she adjusts to the daylight, she becomes less proficient at it.
Sheās also friendly, almost to a naive degree, which drives Varric up the wall at times. More than once he had to drag her away from giving a con man her savings because he apparently had a crippled foot.
That being said, she can hold a grudge, especially when people fuck with those she cares about, or disrespect the dead.
Has never fallen in love with anyone, despite being in her early thirties, because most people she deals with are a) mages, who tend to keep to themselves or with other mages, or b) they are undead. Sheās always felt like an outsider, even in the home she misses terribly, that her lack of magical talent makes her somehow ālesserā in the eyes of other watchers, even if no one believes that of her.
Which means when she meets Emmrich, a man of prestigious talents, complimenting her, she goes weak in the knees. (And that's how she discovers she has a praise kink.)

Enchanted Rose University
Saw others make posts like this, so here are some of the major OCs at my all girl's fan school and the counterpart to NRC.
Things to Note:
I'm listing student characters from most important to least important to the main plot of my own fic series.
This post will reference my own worldbuilding where NRC and RSA are universities. So if you are wondering how the hell a girl can work at Mostro Lounge and why I'm spouting out random country names, that's why.
Everyone mentioned in this post is 18+.
I might make a part 2 of this if there are enough OCs from this school. Either way, I'll make another general OC post sometime, because there are a lot more than what you'd think.
(Warning: This post will contain spoilers for upcoming characters in my TWST fics. You have been warned.)
Enchanted Rose is respected and prestigious all-girls university in the Land of Pyroxene. It honours King Adam and his princess consort Belle. The school is even in their former estate. Students come from all walks of life, and many go on to excel in their careers.
Staff
Ava Smith
Twisted from Captain Amelia from Treasure Planet
She's a cat beastwoman and a former ship captain with an interest in science, especially astronomy and astrology. After she retired from the military, she got her doctorate and became vice-chancellor at Enchanted Rose. She has a sharp wit, enjoying to tease people and have fun with her friends, including Divus Crewel, during her off time.
Ruth Warwick
Twisted from Prudence from Cinderella 2
She's the headmistress' secretary. She's a very prim and proper woman, being rather uptight about her job and a stickler for the rules. Despite her being...a lot, Ava places a lot of trust in her.
Students
Alyssa āLyssaā Ćtienne
Twisted from Princess Tiana
She is a hardworking and resourceful young woman from Port of Jubilee. She originally wanted to attend a uni closer to home. One day her best friend, Carlotta, suggested they should both attend Enchanted Rose to be closer to Royal Sword and Night Raven to meet rich hot guys. At first, Alyssa dismissed the mere prospect, especially if it was such shallow reasoning behind it. But after her mom urged her to go, she decided to take Carlotta up on it, wanting to have a bit of an adventure and to bond more with her cousin, Sam, who she hadn't seen in years.
Alyssa now attends Enchanted Rose while working part time at the Mostro Lounge, visiting her cousin at his shop and swimming in her little spare time. She often works herself to the bone, taking on more than what she can chew. But she thinks it's all worth it in the end, so she can earn enough money to open up her own restaurant and help out others in her community.
Love Interest: Azul Ashengrotto
Mahina Kapule
Twisted from Lilo from Lilo & Stitch
One of her teammates for SDC, who takes Rook's spot and goes to Enchanted Rose. She's a bold, spirited and compassionate oddball, who will do anything for her close family and friends. She's also rather rambunctious, emotional, doesn't always think things through, has a thing for getting into trouble and has a hard time seeing other's perspectives. She is also close friends with Makoa, her adoptive brother, along with Jade, Floyd and Reille.
Aurelia Cadwaladr
Twisted from Princess Eilonwy from The Black Cauldron
She is princess of Prydain, one of "rose leaves" next to Rose Queendom, and heir to the throne. She takes her duties seriously, wanting to learn how to become a good future queen, sharpen her magical skills and fiercely protective over those she loves. Her stubborn, brash and hardheaded nature sometimes gets in the way of this goal. She is also quite sporty, enjoying to do magift, archery and fencing in her spare time, which are things she bonds over with Maisie and Leona over.
Love Interest: Leona Kingscholar
Astrid Benum
Twisted from Elsa from Frozen
She's a famous actress from the Wynderlands, who starred in plenty of queen bee roles, including some alongside Vil. Like the infamous Vil Schƶnheit, she has a reputation for being an icy bitch, but in reality she's loving, protective and fiercely loyal to those dear to her. However, she's also incredibly moody, secretive and insecure. Despite being Vil's ex, she is still on good terms with him and are still friends.
Aziza Hamed Faisal bint al-Asim
Twisted from Princess Jasmine
She's the crown princess of the Scalding Sands, and is forced to marry her cousin, Kalim, despite wanting to make that choice for herself. She is compassionate, outspoken, feisty and sharp-tongued, having a strong sense of adventure and longing for freedom. However, she's also rather sheltered and naive, reckless, stubborn, proud and has a hard time seeing other's perspectives.
Carlotta "Carly" Patin
Twisted from Lottie
A spoiled rich girl from Port of Jubilee and life long friend to Alyssa. She wanted her and Alyssa to attend Enchanted Rose in order to get rich hot boyfriends from RSA and NRC. After some convincing, Alyssa comes along for the ride. While can be ditzy, careless and selfish, she cares a lot about Alyssa and will do anything to help her out.
(As a side note, I wanted to make her a tanned-skinned blonde girl, but I couldn't find a model like that, so I went with that. Just imagine her as a blonde.)
Sana Al Siaf
Twisted from The Genie and Dalia
Sana is Aziza's retainer and trusted friend. She's a descendant of the same cursed Genie who was set free by Sultana Yasamina and Sultan Jafar. Despite this, she's fairly down to earth, gives good advice and is able to help a friend in need. That doesn't stop her from rubbing people the wrong way sometimes due her mischievous and tricky nature and her tendency to get herself into trouble.
NoƩmie Boumount
Twisted from Marie from The Aristocats
NoƩmie is a noble cat beastwoman from the Land of Pyroxene. She lives with her mother, stepfather and two brothers. NoƩmie is very girly, often opting for pink and bows wherever possible, and a huge romantic. Her upper class upbringing made her know proper etiquette. She even wants to get into theatre and has plenty of piano training to boot. She likes to believe she is as regal as her mother, however, she more often than not acts in a way that is rather unladylike. She never starts anything, but she most certainly has no problems joining in the trouble once it begins. She also has a tendency to stick her nose into other people's business and is a huge gossip, especially if there's romance involved.
Maisie Macanroy
Twisted from Merida
She's bold and fearless princess. She loves archery. Despite being brash, hot-headed and hating everything she deems as "girly", she is close friends with with NoƩmie and Aurelia along with Rook.

Rook HuntĀ
I think Rook falls in love with your passion, especially about topics you enjoy. Heās a fanboy himself, and so when he hears you talking about groups you enjoy, heāll quickly join in with his own obsessions or favorite musicians.Ā
Heāll also do extensive research about everything youāre passionate about just so he can keep up with you.Ā
Heāll also learn dances with you, whether theyāre KPOP inspired or tango. Heās always thrilled to be spending time together with you, but any chance to be close to you is extra fun for him.Ā
He lovingly teases you while dancing relentlessly. He really just wants to see you flustered.Ā
He also matches your love for fashion. Heās an appreciator of beauty, after all, and every time he sees you he throws a million compliments filled with genuine love and affection your way.Ā
You two have fun critiquing other peopleās outfits together, and in general just watching the world go about its business.Ā
He lets you take the initiative in the relationship. He fully believes himself safe and satisfied in your care, and heās always pleased to do whatever you want to do.Ā
He also loves that you catch on to things quickly, especially his emotions. Rook is a man shrouded in mystery, but you read him like an open book, and he adores that you can understand him without him needing to speak.Ā

Since you finished with chapter 6, I want to add on your chapter 6 view well mostly the first part. I would say that Cinderella was the one who got her arm scratch by Grimm and she was found by Meg as she helps her along with Deuce and Ace especially on finding Grimm until it is too late. The next few days turn out the same as the game as Vil having a meeting with the VDC participants same goes to Snow White, Aurora, and Ariel. Cinderella was just listening since they stay to take care of Cinderella. Jasmine also stayed since Jamil's relationship is doing well and wants to listen while the rest of the princesses are busy with other things outside. It all played out the same even the part of the Styx attacking. Everyone is devasting especially Cinderella, Snow White, and Jasmine as they witness Jamil, Vil, and Grimm being taken away.
Now moving on how the other overblot victims go. Alice is being taught how to horse back ride by Riddle with the help of Mulan, Merida, Sebek, and Silver when suddenly Styx attack. Riddle being kidnapped which shocked Alice as she tries to save him only to fail.
Leona was sleeping while Belle brought some snacks and Nala asking Leona to help out with her fighting when the attack came. Belle and Nala was surprised to hear that Leona surrender and even witness him being taken away.
Meg is a member of the board games clubs she is with Azul and Idia. Ariel, Tiana, and Elsa being there when attack came. The girls are hiding from the attack but witness the conversation between Idia and Azul. The moment they were taken away, Meg looks angry as she tries to follow but they already left.
And so the meeting came with temporary dorm heads and dorm leaders. Elsa and Tiana being representatives of their dorms as well as Meg and Snow White. They also learn that Crowley is kidnapped which saddened Snow White.
Snow White: Oh my, they kidnapped the headmage. How terrible...we need to bring him back just as much we have to being back the rest.
Of course no one sympathize regarding about Crowley but they did try to calm her down.
Once they learn about this, Meg is super angry about it especially when she follows Cinderella, Alice, Nala, Ariel, Jasmine, and Snow White about it. Epel also joins in with them as they aren't sure what to do until Rook came.
Now this is part that I will end since I am not sure how the plot goes since Rook and Epel are riding in their broomstick with Yuu tagging along. I wonder if would be just one or more girls. I also thought of Elsa and Anna joining since they are relate to the chapter 6 story too.
Absolutely everyone is distraught about the whole situation with Grim and then Styx and Dorm being destroyed. Its a lot and even the most optimistic of the girls are finding it hard to cope.
For Elsa and Anna and how they can tag along, look at this post for context. But if Elsa at least has magic and can use a broom, then she can fly with Anna on board. Or she uses her ice to propel a broom forward like an ice rocket. Whatever works.
But anyway, Meg runs into the Arendelle sisters, after Elsa goes to see if Rook will let some of them crash at Pomfiore. They run into Epel as well and find Rook as he is rushing off to look for Vil. Once Rook leaves, the four of them decide to go after Rook, not content to stand idly by. Meg is the least enthusiastic about this since she hates flying. She is holding onto Epel for dear life the time they catch up wtih Rook.
For the most part, tings go about the same as they did in the book. Elsa makes a patch of ice on the water for them to land on and Idia is flabbergasted that they came all the way out here.
Once Cerberus is down because of Ortho and Idia, the four of them find the housewardens like normal and the three princess split off with the others. Anna goes with Jamil and Leona. Elsa with Azul and Riddle. Meg with the Pomfiore trio.
On the trek downwards into Tartarus, they encounter many fights and talk. Anna brings up how her and Elsa were separated for so long. That like Leona she sometimes felt like the "spare" to her sisters "heir" (reference to a deleted song from frozen). Elsa ice magic saves all their hides from the magma titan, since her magic does not have the same cap or limits as Azul or Riddles does. Meg talks about how familiar a lot of this is. The underworld. Tarturas. Cerberus. All names she knows very well and the dread she feels because she has no good memories of any of it.
The book continues on as it did with the addition of the princesses help. They fight OB Idia and Ortho. They find Grim. Vil sacrifices himself. etc.
When everyone finally gets back, they are all greeted by their dormmates. The princesses all hug the returning trio and check on the other housewardens. (Jasmine tackles Jamil right after Kalim. Belle is asking Leona if he's alright. Tiana expressing that Azul had her and the tweels worried sick.) Malleus helps Vil return to normal and after a few weeks, Idia has Ramshackle repaired as promised and everyone welcome their new classmate Ortho as they all play games.

Born As The Other in Twst (Book 6)
Andrew is pissed off because he just faced Vil's overblot, got scratched by Grim and now getting a warning for another overblot under 24 hours.
Crowley calls the dorm leaders, Ace and Deuce overhears Riddle, they visits Andrew to find out what happened. Crowley shows up and tells the group Grim has been captured and what blot crystals are, then rain on their parade at the possibility Grim not continuing to attend NRC.
A few days later, Vil gets the group together at Ramshackle and apologizes for what happened during the festival, offering to pay for their hard work and as a form of an apology. The team gives their share to Ramshackle to fix up the old dorm which Andrew is graceful and thanks them with a smile.
However, during their conversation of how Vil met Rook the school is under attack and captures the overblot victims. Andrew shouts out towards Grim before focusing his attention on the injured students.
He carries Deuce as Rook and Kalim got Ace and Epel to the infirmary, then attend a meeting with the vice housewardens and Professor Trein to understand the situation better. He goes to the infirmary with Jack and finds Epel is awake, but not Ace and Deuce.
Epel offers to house him until his dorm is fixed when they run into Rook and watch her take off for Vil. Epel decides to chase after her and convinces Andrew to come with, he does. (But he doesn't bring a weapon unlike Alice.)
The two find Rook and join her party, teases Epel for her growling stomach, gets a Pomefiore uniform to finally feel warm after an icy flight. Envies Rook. Follows Rook and Epel's lead and dramatically falls on the floor.
His gaze falls on Idia and instantly knew she's representing the King of the Underworld.
Amaze by the inside of Land of Grief, then sighs at Rook. "You destroyed my dorm and hurt my friends." Concern by Ortho's comment. (Movie night with the girls.)
Great googly moogly, the power is out! Andrew is the clown, and nervous around Rook now. Anyway, open the door and let's run to the control room.
Helps the staff out, but he freezes up and refuses to move. Andrew is dragging the guy and is ready to pick him up but it's too late. He closes his eyes and tenses up, then sees a dream of the King of Underworld to his confusion and soon wakes up to the girls.
High fives Epel for getting her unique magic. Walks into the control room and just waves to the surprised girls like a smartass. "Where's Grim?"
Processing the information on Grim. Spits out air at the phantom number. Asks for a weapon and gets a powerless Charon rowing stick. (Says what Alice said just sounding less energetic than her.)
Angry eyebrows. "Oh, so I'm suppose to stare at the wall and do nothing while being the only adult in this situation. No, I'm not going to continue being a coward."
Confusion to shock at getting a hug and kiss. A slight blush on his cheeks as Rook laughs at him. "And my darling apple."
Just whacking phantoms with a rowing stick. Chuckles at the tuna comment, then gets sad. "Why are you talking about nails?" Disappointed at no lore yet.
Andrew is concerned from that fact on phantoms. Oh shit, rock titan.
Runs in and helps find the spear, poking it out when he sees it. "That thing's taller than Andrew!" He throws his weapon to the floor and helps holding it.
Tease Epel for her monstrous stomach. Stuffs first-aid and snacks in robes.
"Speak for yourself, I'll pick up a phantom and throw it off the edge if blot wasn't an issue."
Slam phantom on the head for interrupting the lore. "You backhand complimented her."
"You were a part of Savanaclaw?" "Same, Epel."
Wait, wasn't the Fairest Queen a old woman in the dreams? Vil's phantom kinda looked like her. Gets smack against a metal box and takes a minute to get back up.
Lore time! Wait, she has freckles, where?
Andrew is upset and annoy, where's his cat?
At seeing the box destroyed, he starts looking around for any danger. Whacks it when pounces towards him.
"I guess you three are done for the day." Has Epel lean on his shoulder as he rests too. Has a heart attack.
Hops onto the chariot and realizes he can't help them fight. Another overblot... (You will regret those words later, Idia.) What?!
"Grim?!"
Smack some phantoms and jumps back on the chariot, then stand there confuse on what to do. The weapon falls as he reaches out for Grim. (She either calls him brother or by name.)
Rook yells out for Vil as his sight quickly fade to black and see memories playing in front of him. His heart hurts. He blinks his eyes when the black disappears and sees Vil as a old woman, being handed a sleeping Grim.
He exits the chariot with his cat in his arms, waiting for Idia to wake up and face his pissed off classmates. He notices Grim isn't breathing and panics, following Rook's instructions. He hugs her when she starts breathing, telling her they can go back to Ramshackle.
His ears are ringing after the three hour car ride. He thanks Malleus and asks Ace and Deuce if they're okay, just to get smacked on the head. His injuries are bandaged and lectured by Crewel before packing some things and passing out on Ace's bed.
The living arrangements for Alice are the same for Andrew. Tea party with Riddle, questions self because of Leona, tortured (affectionately) by the twins, carrying a passed out Kalim after partying hard, shrugging with Vil's standards, and camp Vargas.
He loves his new fixed up dorm, but disappoint at no improved bedroom. Oh, new student? Happily takes the gift and enjoys the hangout with everyone.
He talks to Mickey and finds someone else met Mickey, weird.
The same realization and blot issue happens to him, and gets taken care of by Malleus, the person he's afraid for. (However, he doesn't run a business like Alice, he took a job at an antique shop in the town.)

6. A Summary of Injuries following Keystone Artifact Retrieval & Subsequent Loss
A crumpled note torn from a journal, detailing medical treatment following the incident that saw Rook expelled from the Veil Jumpers. The writing is slanted and messy, as if written quickly; blood has spattered across the edge of the parchment.
Continuing my Veilguard codex entries! I'll be jumping around as inspiration strikes.
Patient: Vas'iira Aldwir
Tending Mage: Irelin Morlyn
Summary of Injuries and Treatment:
Vas'iira sustained a deep laceration spanning from right cheekbone, cutting diagonal away from nose, and extending onto both upper and lower lip, inflicted from either I) metal shards from device explosion, II) arcane shrapnel formed from excessive release of magic, or III) Both.
Spirit healing took care of the worst of it, but the edges of the wound have been affected by whatever magic set the explosion off. The artifact -- or trap? -- seems designed to slow healing, ensuring the unsuspecting victim(s) bleed to death if left untreated. The residual magic (necrotic in nature?) is indeed impeding the mending process. It took more magic to close the wound than it should have and will certainly scar. I recommended Vas'iira keep it covered while the magic knits the flesh over time to prevent reopening. It's slow going.
Still, Vas'iira is lucky. The wound was a nasty piece of work when sustained (I could see her teeth through the cut -- it was truly gruesome), and she was not treated as promptly as I would have preferred, given that she ran back to help our straggling Veil Jumpers. As much as I'm sure she'll regret the scar, she would have regretted losing the others much, much more -- and her actions did undoubtedly save them.
Several smaller lacerations were present and subsequently healed, primarily along Vas'iira's left hand and forearm -- likely sustained when she attempted to shield her face from the blast. These were also slower to heal, but not to the degree that her facial wound was. I theorize that the enchantments on her armor absorbed most of the necrotic magic, and what little remained was dealt with easily enough.
Further injuries included a sprained wrist from taking a hard fall on her way back when leaping from the collapsing pathway. While it has healed, it will be tender for some time; I've recommended she not use her spellblade for a few days. She doesn't seem keen to heed that advice.
A myriad of other bruises will take time to heal, but I've eased their ache as best I could.
I worry more for the wounds that will not -- that cannot -- be healed by magic. Vas'iira is taking Strife's punishment hard -- and though I know his decision to send her away stems from care and worry over her tendency to charge headfirst into danger...I worry about the damage this has already wrought on her.
As soon as Strife told her she needed to step back, I saw a flash of the wounded girl I once knew her to be back when she first began visiting Clan Morlyn each summer. Slow to trust and so defensive. The ghost of a girl still haunted by her parents' abandonment has reappeared some two decades later, thanks to Strife's exile.
Vas'iira is a good veil jumper -- and an even better mage. She doesn't shy from danger, but she handles herself well. I fear we'll be hurting without her expertise and her general good-natured spirit; already there have been dissenting murmurs about Strife's decision.
I've asked him to reconsider -- but he is quite stubborn, and regardless, I fear the damage is already done; Vas'iira is packing her bags even as I finish this summary.
A decade ago, I would've prayed to Ghila'nain to guide her on a safe journey. Now, I hesitate to do so with what blasphemous rumors we've unearthed concerning the Creators in recent years. But I suppose the sentiment still stands.
At the very least, I will be sure to slip some poultices and salves into her bag before she goes. This, at least, is a concrete action I can take to wish her well on whatever path lies before her, prayers aside.

so my veilguard thoughts
perhaps unpopular opinion but i fucking loved it, it made me rework a lot of lore understandings i had in my head.
some end/late game spoilers ahead, so read on at your own risk.
the entire game i veered wildly in-between, ugh solas i missed you, and UGH SOLAS I'VE GIVEN YOU TOO MUCH GOODWILL BECAUSE OF INQUISITION, and most of the time it was just a mix of both.
when he temporarily fights alongside you in the last quest was fun as fuck though.
southern thedas getting wiped off the map as the in-game reason for why nothing we did mattered is actually the funniest (derogatory) thing bioware could've done.
my solavellan just leaving to join solas in the fade while southern thedas burns????
THE ENTIRE VARRIC REVEAL???? (and the fade jail.)
i'm pissed about harding or davrin being the ones to sacrifice - and i really thought i had doomed bellara to death when she got got by elgar'nan. (neve disapproved but i was like 'baby girl it's the curse of the romance interest you're always in my party!')
without guides i kept everyone besides davrin (I DIDN'T KNOW BUT I ALSO DON'T KNOW IF I COULD CHOOSE HARDING NOW THAT I KNOW) alive through the final bit.
got all factions, including the crows, back up to 3 stars, all heroes of the veilguard. i want to do shadowy protecter neve next because i like the legendary armor better.
when mythal goes 'i did not think my children would ever walk the dread wolf's crossroads again.' i had to lay down (also my rook had mythal vallaslin.)
when you're in the hossberg wetlands and you get the notification, "because you helped destroy the blight, the flowers can grow again." that about put me into the ground.
i loved bellara so much more than i thought i would.
i have neve brainrot. she's so sassy but under the cynicism is so much heaviness from the burden of responsibility and fear (the whole returned cultist questline and how afraid she sounded the entire time i wanted to hug her forever.)
i got got by lucanis, i'm gonna have to romance him at some point. the romances remind me more of DA2 format than DAI format, which I thought was a weird step back.
the companions doing so little damage had me grinding my gears.
i agree that act 1 is the weakest and act 3being the strongest.
absolutely foul that an elf romancing neve gets to be fake venatori neve's servant.
i was doing thousands of damage at the end, spellblade was so fucking fun. i'm gonna run a dual daggers rogue next and see how it works.
