you groaned out loud as you fell face first into the inviting couch of the dream academy’s shared household. the day had finally caught up to you after a long day of dance practice and rehearsals, the training schedule you had been following for a few months now had not gotten any easier.
you sighed contentedly as you feel yourself sink in the comfiness of the couch, melting in it.
“becoming one with the couch, y/n?” sophia giggles lightly.
sophia, your first and closest friend here, rolled you onto your back so that you were now looking up at her.
“gimme 5 minutes” you murmur out, closing your eyes once more as you feel your muscles relax after a long day.
“no, not 5 minutes. now, y/n.” sophia nagged at you, like a mother would. “apparently someone new is coming in tomorrow, and you have to clean your side of the room.”
you furrow your brows, someone new?
“what do you mean someone new?” you sit up slowly, finally opening your eyes. “didn’t they send naisha home recently?”
sophia shrugs, moving off the couch. “i don’t know either, y/n, but you need to clean your side of the room because i wanna leave a good impression.”
before sophia can leave to go join the other girls for dinner in the kitchen you quickly ask her a question. “wait, soph! do we have any info on her at least?”
sophia grins as she answers, “her name’s lara, and she’s your age”
-
meeting lara for the first time was definitely an experience.
you hadn’t been able to see her until it was almost the end of the day, whereas everybody had already met her earlier during their rehearsals/practice times. that’s why you almost dropped the iced matcha latte you had gotten from starbucks as you walked into your shared bedroom with sophia when you noticed your roommate and a stranger in your unkempt space.
this stranger was pretty– stunning even. she had long flowing black hair that framed her face effortlessly, complementing her symmetrical features. her eyes were dangerously captivating, making your heart skip a beat when you made eye contact. she had various types of gold jewellery on her, but it was her bindi and nose piercing that stood out to you the most. she oozed confidence, which was definitely intimidating, but you found yourself strangely allured to it.
striking, you thought.
“this is y/n!, she joined us a couple months ago, but she’s super talented! i’d say she’s our most well rounded contestant.” sophia grins brightly at the new girl.
your roommate shoots you a look, snapping you out of your thoughts as you introduce yourself. “uh, sorry, i’m y/n. i’m guessing you’re lara?” your gaze lingering on her just a moment longer than necessary
lara turned to you with a smile that made your heart flutter. god, you had just met this girl and you already found yourself feeling the butterflies in your stomach. “yeah, that’s me. nice to finally meet you, y/n!. i really like your room too, do you play?” she asks, pointing towards your guitar.
you smile awkwardly at lara, realising you really should’ve cleaned your room. “ah, yeah, sorry for the mess by the way.”
sophia clicks her tongue in response, giving you an ‘i-told-you-so’ look’, which you could only chuckle at.
“nah, it’s fine” lara’s smile was warm and genuine, and you felt your cheeks heat up as she extended her hand for a shake. “i’ve heard a lot about you from sophia.”
“only good things, i hope?” you replied, trying to keep your voice steady. as she laughed lightly, the sound wrapped around you like a cozy blanket.
“definitely good things! she says you’re quite the dancer,” lara said.
“just trying to keep up with everyone,” you shrugged, smiling softly at the compliment though. “what about you?”
“i like to sing a little.” a smirk tugs on the corner of her lips.
-
a little was an understatement as you and the other contestants sat on the side of the dance studio and listened to lara sing. how does someone even sing so effortlessly like that?
you find yourself speechless as lara grins brightly as she finishes singing, heading off into the direction of daniela, megan, and emily.
“holy shit, sophia” you looked at your best friend, who swatted your shoulder.
“language!” she laughs.
“sorry!” you chuckle, shaking your head in disbelief, “but it’s true, she wasn’t playing around.
you watch as lara chatted animatedly to the three girls, her smile lighting up the entire dance studio in your eyes. a wave of admiration washing over you, and the same damn butterflies you felt from yesterday. unknowingly, a soft grin appears on your face.
sophia follows your gaze, eventually landing on the indian girl as well. “no way-” the filipina covering her laugh with a hand over her mouth.
you turn to your roommate in confusion, “huh?”
“you’re like, the gayest girl i know” sophia continued laughing.
you roll your eyes at the girl beside you “it’s not like that–”
“yet!’
sophia quickly runs away from you and towards marquise, who was talking to manon, to defend herself from you.
-
the days turned into 2 weeks, and the initial excitement of meeting lara settled into a comfortable rhythm. you found yourself stealing glances at her during practices, each stolen look igniting that same flutter in your stomach. you’d caught her eye more than once, each time exchanging shy smiles that lingered just a bit too long.
lara had a way of weaving herself into your day, whether it was sharing a laugh over a missed step or playfully challenging you to keep up during practice. it was light and easy, but underneath it all, there was an undeniable tension—a connection that felt electric and yet so fragile.
one evening, you found yourself playing your electric guitar, the other girls leaving the house to go eat out. the house had settled into a comfortable silence, one that came rarely considering you lived in a house with about 10+ other girls. you picked at the fretboard absentmindedly, letting the distorted and amplified sound ring around the room. the soft vibrations of the noise echoed against the walls, blending with the fading light of the sunset outside.
just as you started to get lost in your music, you heard the familiar sound of footsteps approaching. looking up, you were pleasantly surprised to see lara leaning against the doorframe, her arms crossed, an amused smile playing on her lips.
“is this a private concert just for me?” she teases, looking the same way she does, never failing to make your heart beat faster.
“i thought you went out with the rest of them?” you chuckle, stopping your playing.
she giggles back, sitting on your bed beside you. “i did, got tired though so i went home earlier.”
a silence falls between you two as you take in the close proximity between you two. she smells good, you note. like coconuts and sandalwood.
you clear your throat, trying to focus on the moment at hand rather than the way your heart is racing. “uh, so, did you wanna try to play something…?”
lara shakes her head no, giggling lightly, “no, i just wanted to listen to you play. you’re really good y’know?”
lara wasn’t lying, you were good at the guitar. you had been playing on and off since you were 7 years old.
your cheeks flush at the girl’s compliment, “thanks, i’m just messing around though.”
“messing around or not, you still sound good y/n” her eyes locked on yours with an intensity that made your heart flutter. “you must be really good with your fingers.”
her last sentence catches you completely off guard, a rush of heat flooding your face. “I, uh, yeah– i guess i am?”
lara leans in a little closer, a teasing smile on her lips– enjoying your reaction. “i’d love to see how good you really are, maybe you could teach me sometime?”
you don’t know when you two had gotten so close in terms of proximity, feeling her breathing on you. “s-sure?”
lara giggles before pulling away, “i’m holding you to that, y/n.” she gets up from your bed as she stretches her arms above her head, the movement highlighting her graceful form. “but, for now, i’ll leave you alone, i’m still feeling a little tired.”
you watch her as she moves, the way her hair cascades down her back and the playful glint in her eyes that makes your heart race again, eventually she leaves your room, closing the door gently.
what just happened?

“Welcome! I’m Sam, and I’m the head counselor here at Camp Crystal Lake. We’re going to have a few days before the campers get here, so that will give you some time to learn the layout and ask for help with whatever you need. Does anyone have any questions for me right now?” Sam asked, looking around at the new and some returning counselors. You smirked as her eyes locked on yours, holding eye contact with you for a few seconds before shaking her head.
You could tell she was annoyed by your presence, having been at her house enough times to know how she acted when she was trying to pretend you weren’t getting on her nerves. Now that you were working at the camp she was in charge of for the whole summer, you were only going to make things worse.
“Dude, stop eye-fucking my sister,” Tara whispered as Sam started to answer your new coworkers’ questions.
“What? I- I wasn’t eye-fucking nobody, but especially not your sister,” you said, biting your lip as you realized that wasn’t believable.
Tara rolled her eyes, “Yeah sure.”
“Honest!” you try to argue, but Tara wasn’t having it.
You both knew you had a crush on her older sister since the moment you and Tara became friends. There were many sleepovers the two of you had had while Sam watched you, while her family was gone. Tara and you had been friends since the seventh grade and now that the two of you were adults, you wished Sam felt the same way towards you.
Since you didn’t think she would ever feel that way, annoying the fuck out of her was good enough. Sam didn’t own the camp, so she couldn’t fire you - in your mind that meant you were able to push her buttons more than usual. Of course, you never did it in front of Tara, considering she knew about your crush on her older sister for the longest time.
“(Your Name),” Sam called out, causing you to jump, “Come here.”
You did as you were told, getting closer to her as the counselors moved to get their stuff. You had zoned out, thinking about Sam so much that you didn’t realize she was handing things out to everyone.
As soon as you walked up to her, she smirked. “Good girl. Here’s your supplies for your campers when they get here. You’ll be in cabin two.”
You looked down at the ground, eyes widening as you noticed the black boots Sam was wearing. Between being called a good girl and seeing her boots, all you could think about was grinding against them while she praised you.
Shaking the thoughts of your head, you sighed, crossing your arms, “Samantha.”
Sam glared at you, “Stop calling me that.”
Bringing your hand up to your chin, you tapped it with one finger playfully, “Mm, no.”
You grabbed your stuff and walked away before she could say anything. Without looking at Sam, you knew she was still focused on you.
“Are you done doing that for today? It’s bad enough we’re going to be here all summer,” Tara complained as she sat her stuff down to get a drink of water from her bottle. “Instead of annoying her and poking the bear, why don’t you just make a move?”
You gave Tara a surprised look, “Make a move? What, so she can laugh at me and say no? I’d rather keep annoying her.”
Tara shook her head, “How do you know she would laugh at you?”
“She just would,” you sighed, “Would you like some help carrying your stuff to your cabin?”
“I’ve got it,” Tara said, picking her stuff back up. “Plus, Sam put me in cabin thirteen which makes no sense. What cabin are you in? I didn’t hear her when she said it.”
“Cabin two.”
Tara nodded, “You do realize Sam is in cabin one, yeah?”
“I figured, what about it?” you asked, unsure as to why Tara would bring it up. It didn’t matter to you if Sam was in cabin one or cabin twelve, you were going to annoy her just as much.
“You do realize that cabin one and cabin two are connected?” Tara informed you.
“Oh? I- well, I mean that’s fine, I’m confused as to why you’re pointing it out, to be honest.”
Tara sighed. “I just… I know you like to annoy her and we’re best friends, but she’s my sister.”
You gave her an odd look, unsure of what she was getting at. Yeah, you annoyed Sam a lot, but you genuinely did like her. “What are you trying to say?”
Tara got a bit closer to you. “I just don’t want to see her, or you, hurt.”
“Tara,” you started, “Me hurting her? I would never.”
Taras facial expression was unreadable when she spoke up again, “Then try not to annoy her more than what you already do. I don’t think you would intentionally hurt her, but after Richie… she puts up a big front.”
“Do you know something I don’t?” you questioned.
Tara tried her best to hide the smirk that was threatening to show, and if it was anyone else, she would be able to get away with it. Not you though, you knew the moment you asked her that she was fighting the urge to smirk.
“Got to go get set up, talk to you later,” Tara said, chuckling as she walked away.
You stood there for a few more minutes, trying to decipher what Tara was trying to get at, but you soon let it go - for now - as you headed towards cabin number two. You decided you were going to take a nap once you had your clothes and such all put away. You had a few days before your busy summer started and getting familiar with the camp could wait. Sleep could not, especially when all you could think about Sam – as well as what Tara was saying. Did Sam feel the same? Or did she know that Sam did not feel the same? You loved Tara like the sister you never had, but sometimes you wished she wasn’t so secretive when it came to important things.
“Hey, (Your Name), wait up!” a voice called out to you, causing you to stop in your tracks. You turned around, a smile spread across your face as both Chad and Mindy rushed towards you. You dropped your bags as soon as they got close enough to hug you. Chad went first, hugging you tightly and then as soon as he let go of you, Mindy gave you an even tighter hug.
“How have you been, babe?” Mindy asked as she let go of you.
“Pretty good, I’ve just been busy working and writing the book I started a bit ago,” you smiled. “How about you?”
“You still at that one place?” Chad asked.
“I’ve been good, movie theater has been doing good, I was surprised that they let me have the whole month off to do this,” Mindy said.
“I’m glad! And yeah, I’m still at that one job,” you groaned, “But honestly, I might quit when I go back home.”
“I don’t blame you, really,” Mindy said. “Well, if there’s a killer out in the woods with us and you die, then you wouldn’t have to quit!”
Both you and Chad glared at her.
“You know Sam wouldn’t let anything happen to (Your Name), the killer would be dead so fast,” Chad laughed.
Mindy hit his arm hard, glaring at him while you looked at both with confusion written all over your face. You now wondered if everyone knew something that you had no clue about. Tara was one thing – she’s Sam’s sister after all – but the twins? You were missing something and as much as you had your suspicions on what it was, you didn’t want to guess and end up wrong; you wouldn’t be able to look Sam or any of your friends in the eyes after that.
“Ow! What did you do that for?!” he whimpered, rubbing his arm.
“Ignore what he’s saying, he knows nothing,” Mindy rolled her eyes.
You sighed, wanting this conversation to end. You loved them, but all you really needed was to lay down and try and forget about the day. Looking at your watch and then back at the twins, you spoke up again, “Hey, I’ll talk to you guys in a bit, I have a bit of a headache and I’m going to be laying down for a few hours.”
Mindy and Chad said their goodbyes before they turned around. You had assumed they had already gone to the cabins they were staying in, since they didn’t have any of their stuff with them when they came up to you.
As soon as you got to the cabin, you dropped your bag on the floor before sitting on the nearest bottom bunk. You felt bad for lying to Chad and Mindy, but you were so overstimulated from everything going on so far. You got up once more to grab your pillow from your bag before laying down.
You awoke when a door was slammed shut. “What?! What's going on?” you shouted, sitting up quickly.
“You do realize there’s a room in between the cabins for the counselors to sleep and live in right?” Sam asked.
Her arms were crossed and you could tell she was annoyed. Unfortunately this time you weren’t even trying to annoy her, so it wasn’t fun for you.
“I’m sorry,” you whispered.
You cursed yourself for getting so shy when you were overstimulated. You looked down at the ground, refusing to even look at her.
“Oh,” Sam sighed. “You weren’t doing this to annoy me, were you?”
You shook your head, eyes still glued to the floor. The room was filled with an uncomfortable silence, but before you could say anything, Sam came up to you. Placing a hand on your shoulder, she rubbed it gently before sitting next to you.
“I didn’t mean to snap at you about it. Let me help you carry your bags to the room I was talking about, okay?” Sam spoke softly.
You nodded. “Okay.”
You stood up at the same time Sam did. You grabbed your backpack and your pillow while Sam grabbed your duffle bag.
“How did you carry this all the way here? You should have asked me for some help,” Sam sighed, grabbing the bag.
You followed her into the counselor’s room, setting your stuff down and she spoke up and pointed to the bed that was empty. “This is your bed, and over there is where you can put your clothes.”
“Thank you, S- Sam,” you said, finally making eye contact with her, “I appreciate it.”
“It’s no problem, really. We’re going to be here the entire summer, so I’d rather help you out now so I’m not worried about you the rest of the summer,” Sam explained herself, which made your heart drop.
A part of you wanted her to worry about you - attention from her was something you’d always craved. Now was no different from back then, other than the fact that you were an adult now.
“You have a point,” you sighed. “Is Quinn working here this summer?”
Sam gave you a dirty look. “Why? I mean, yes, but why?”
“Because I haven’t seen her in a while? We’re friends?” you said, unsure as to why she was asking that.
Quinn and you had dated for a short time, and although things didn’t work out well between the two of you, you were still really good friends. You figured she was just worried that you’d run back to Quinn after spending countless nights at Tara and her house after she had left you randomly. You were over the redhead, finally realizing that your crush on Sam was still present once you got over your first real heartbreak.
“Mhm,” Sam hummed, seeming to accept your response. Anyway, I’m going to make sure everyone is settled in and that they don’t need my help. You can take a nap because I can tell you’re tired, and I won’t come in here as loud as I just did.”
“Thank you so much.”
Sam walked out with her clipboard and sunglasses and as soon as you knew she was gone, you put your things away in the drawers. Grabbing your stuffed animal, you put it at the head of your bed before you laid down.
You couldn’t help but think about how good Sam looked in her tank top. With her muscles on display, all you could think about was her pinning you down on the bed and fucking you over and over while you begged her to keep going.
You sat up and grabbed your MP3 player from your backpack before putting your headphones in. Once you were all situated, you laid back down with music blaring in your ears. You took a deep breath, slipping your hand into your shorts. You closed your eyes, moaning when you felt how wet you were through your underwear.
You ran your fingertips lightly against yourself, enjoying how good it felt. “Fuck, Sam, please don’t tease me,” you whimpered, unaware that Sam had already ducked back in to get her water bottle. She wasn’t trying to look, especially since you weren’t aware that she was there - that is, until she heard you moan out her name.
Finally, after a few minutes of teasing yourself through your underwear, you pushed your hand into them. Rubbing your clit lightly, you imagined Sam touching you whenever she wanted to.
“Please, Sam,” you moaned, “I’m yours.”
You sped up your movements, finally bringing a finger down to your entrance. You took a deep breath, trying to spread your legs, but your shorts weren’t allowing you to. Pulling your hand out of your pants, you quickly pulled them down, followed by your underwear. Kicking them off just as Mascara by Deftones started to play.
You spread your legs, bringing your hand back down to your pussy. You kept your eyes closed as you slid a finger inside yourself. You would normally work yourself up a bit more, but you were already so wet, all you wanted was to make yourself come a few times before Sam got back. The last thing you wanted was for her to see you like this, moaning her name when you weren’t even sure if she liked you. The last thing you needed was to make things awkward for the both of you the whole summer.
You added a second finger, curling them as you began to fuck yourself. “Faster, please, Daddy. Please, wan’ to come for you,” you cried out. You opened your eyes as you heard someone come up the stairs, pulling your hand out and pulling your pants and underwear up as quickly as you could.
Sam opened cabin one’s door and you used that time to make it look like you weren’t doing anything. When she opened the door to the counselor’s room, you opened the book you had brought, wanting her to not question what you had been doing while she was away. You turned your MP3 player off and set it on the nightstand.
“We’re going to be having dinner around seven-thirty, so you’ve got a few hours of free time to explore,” Sam informed you, smiling softly.
“I mean, if we have a few days before the campers even show up, I can explore tomorrow,” you sighed. “I’m so exhausted.”
Sam smirked, rolling her eyes. “Yeah, I bet.”
You gave her a confused look, but deep down your heart had just dropped. “Wh- What’s that supposed to mean, Samantha?”
You knew she hated it when you called her that, so you did, trying to get her to think that everything was okay. Sam’s smirk turned into a frown as she stood there – her eyes burning into you. You turned your head, realizing she was still staring at you and it made you nervous.
“Are you going to be a brat this whole summer, (Your Name)?” Sam asked, getting closer to you.
“What? I’m not being a brat?” You weren’t sure where this was coming from – for years when you annoyed Sam and pushed her buttons, she would just ignore you or make a petty comment back to you. But here she was, snapping at you.
“Stand up,” was all Sam said, but she gave you no room to not listen. She grabbed you by the arm, forcing you to stand up. “We’re going to get something straight here. You will behave this summer or you will not get anything from me, do you understand me?”
You nodded, getting the feeling as if Sam didn’t want you to talk at the moment.
“That means if I ask you to do something or anything, you will not call me Samantha, you will not talk back and for the record, between the two of us – you will not touch that pretty little pussy without my permission again. Got it?” Sam snapped.
You nodded in understanding, but that wasn’t good enough for Sam. Grabbing you by the throat, she squeezed lightly, before saying, “You can speak now, puppy.”
“Y-Yes, Sam, I got it,” you swallowed, licking your lips.
“Now, for years you’ve been annoying me with little things, poking the bear and then backing away, and for years I’ve been allowing you to do so. At first, I thought maybe you didn’t like me, but that wasn’t true because Tara would have dropped you the moment you said something to her… Then I got to thinking that maybe it was a crush you had and I had to make myself not believe that, because why would you have a crush on me? A few people told me you had feelings for me, but I couldn’t get myself to believe it… until today when you thought I wasn’t here, and you were masturbating. Granted, I had come back for my water bottle, and I was going to leave to give you some space and the privacy you needed,” Sam paused, getting closer to your face. You felt your cheeks heat up, hating how shy she was making you feel. “But then you started to moan my name, and I knew that this wasn’t just a one-sided thing, because if I didn’t have feelings for someone, I sure as hell wouldn’t be moaning their name. Am I wrong?”
“N- No, you’re not wrong,” you whispered, not wanting to keep her waiting for an answer from you.
“Good girl. See? It’s so much better when you behave, don’t you agree?” Sam asked.
“Yes, Sam,” you licked your lips.
“Now that we've discussed that part, tell me what you were thinking about when you were touching yourself,” Sam said, letting go of your neck to sit on her bed. She looked at you, waiting for your answer. “Well? Don’t keep me waiting. Tell me. Now.”
“You using me however you want while we’re here. Also obviously after the summer. I wanna be yours,” you admitted, keeping your eyes down onto the ground.
“Eyes on me, you look away and you’ll be going to bed with nothing but a sore ass and frustration,” Sam threatened, smirking as you shot your head up instantly without any hesitation.
“Good girl! Such a good girl,” Sam praised.
On instinct, you squeezed your legs shut, the ache between them was growing stronger. You weren’t sure how much of it you could take. Sam was actually into you, and although you were completely clueless, the more you thought about it, the more you knew you should have seen it. Between all the times Tara would smirk at Sam when she’d refuse to give you eye contact. Or how Sam would put up with you for the longest time when she could have easily told Tara to cut you off. Their relationship was extremely close, and you knew for a fact Tara would end your friendship if Sam didn’t like you.
“Aw, do you like being praised, baby?” Sam hummed, mocking you a bit to see how you’d reacted.
You bit your lip, trying to contain the moan that was fighting to come out. Her tone of voice and facial expression was not helping the ache between your legs and you needed her now.
“Please,” you whimpered, watching as Sam grabbed her backpack that had been on the floor. “I don’t think I can take any more. M’need you now, Daddy.”
Sam stopped her movements, taking a deep breath and you knew the effect you had on her. You tried your best to contain the smirk that was forming - not wanting to risk not getting anything from Sam. One thing you always knew about her: she always kept her word.
“You need me now, yeah?” Sam teased, bringing her hands to her belt buckle. “How do you need me?”
“Want you inside of me, want you to fuck me as hard as you can for all the times I’ve annoyed you. Please, Daddy. I can’t wait anymore, I’ll do anything,” you begged, hoping Sam would give in and give you what you needed.
Sam sighed, standing up from her seat to show you that her belt was unbuckled. She sat down next to you and you turned to face her.
“Yeah? You’ll do anything?” Sam questioned.
You nodded, watching Sam’s hand come up to you. “Suck” was all Sam said, bringing two fingers up to your mouth. You wrapped your lips around the digits, closing your eyes as you focused on getting them wet.
“Mm,” Sam hummed. “I bet you’d be so good at sucking cock huh?”
You smiled with her fingers still in your mouth, flinching a little as Sam wrapped her free hand around your throat. You continued to suck on her fingers, running your tongue through them.
“God I want you on my cock so bad,” Sam sighed, squeezing your throat lightly. “I brought one with me just in case, didn’t know you’d be this easy, but I kind of love that about you. You’re a whore, just a set of holes waiting to be filled by anyone.”
You shook your head as best as you could, trying to say “no,” but with her fingers in your mouth it was too hard to do so.
Sam pulled them out of your mouth before asking, “What was that?”
You took a deep breath, “N-Not anyone, just you. Want you to be the only one to fill my holes. Please, please just… please fuck me. I want you.”
“Aw, but I thought you needed me, baby?” Sam teased, smiling as you whined.
“I do need you!” you cried out, tears pricking at the corner of your eyes.
“But you’re so pretty when you’re all desperate for me, I think I’m going to keep you like this for a while. Now stand up and get your shoes on, we’re going to explore the camp so you know it by heart before the campers get here.” Sam stood up, a smile on her face as she made her way to the bathroom to wash her hands.
You sat there, trying your best to catch your breath and calm down before you could get up. You were stunned - unsure as to why Sam wanted to keep you waiting, but you knew you couldn’t argue with her.
You stood up slowly, grabbing your shoes as you tried not to think about Sam’s fingers inside of you. They felt good in your mouth and you knew they were going to feel so good when they were in your pussy. But for now, you kept quiet, slipping on your shoes while Sam grabbed her clipboard and water bottle.
“I’m ready,” you said, grabbing your own water bottle. The last thing you needed was to be dehydrated, especially in this heat.
“Good girl,” Sam praised, causing you to bite your lip. You wish she had just fucked you - until she would, you were going to try and be on your best behavior. “If you’re good for the rest of the day, after dinner I’ll fuck you.”
“You promise?” you asked, eyes wide as the two of you made your way through the cabin.
“I promise,” Sam said, “And I will keep my promise, as long as you keep yours to be a good girl and behave.”
When the two of you left the cabin, you ran into Quinn for the first time in a full year. She stopped the two of you, smiling at Sam before pulling you into a hug.
“Hey, (Your Name), how’s it going? I haven’t seen you in a bit, you look so good!” Quinn said, finally letting you go. You were too busy focusing on Quinn to notice the glare Sam was giving you.
“We should hang out soon, after the summer is over. Maybe catch up with dinner and a movie?” you suggest.
“I’d love that! Alright, I’m gonna go take a walk around the whole camp before dinner, I’ll see you two then!” Quinn said as she walked in the opposite direction that Sam and you were going.
“You realize you just asked her on a date, (Your Name)?” Sam asked as the two of you continued to walk.
“I- I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to,” you said, realizing that you had fucked up. Quinn was your ex-girlfriend, but she was still your friend. So in your mind, you thought you were just asking her to hanging out like friends do.
“I’m not upset with you,” Sam reassured you. “I know how you are sometimes, so I know you didn’t mean it like that.”
You looked at her. “But?”
“But it also means that I get to remind you that you belong to me,” Sam hummed.
”Oh,” you gasped, her words going straight to your pussy. You knew it wouldn’t have affected you that much if she hadn’t just worked you up before denying you even a single touch. At this point, you thought if Sam just touched you once you would come.
Sam ignored you as the two of you made your way around the corner. You sighed, putting your hands in your pocket, slightly jumping when Sam spoke up.
“So, what are you into?” she asked. Your cheeks heated up in embarrassment - you weren’t expecting her to ask you right there and then. You stayed quiet for a few minutes as the two of you continued to walk.
“Well,” you paused, taking a deep breath, “I haven’t done too much, but I know I like being choked, slapped, and spanked. I also like being face fucked and… well… I like anal, as well as being degraded.”
Sam smirked, looking down at the ground. “That’s very good to know. I’m into those things as a domme, and a lot more that I would love to try with you, if you want to. Doesn’t have to be now or during the summer; you’re more than welcome to come over. Even if Tara isn’t home, okay? I know this is a lot to take in and I do really like you, so I would love to spend time with you outside of sexual things too.”
You nodded, “Thank you for letting me know.”
Sam took your hand in hers, “I’ve liked you for a long time and I know we can’t do anything here, but I want you to know that I really do care about you…”
“I know you do, so why are you saying all of this?” you asked.
Sam pulled her hand away, bringing it up to her forehead to wipe the sweat. She turned to look at you once more and said, with a straight face, “Oh, because I plan on fucking you as if I fucking hate you, and I want to make sure that you know that I really do like you.”
Your eyes widened, quickly turning your head so Sam couldn’t see the look on your face. You knew you shouldn’t have been surprised, and yet, here you were.
“What?” Sam asked, bringing you out of your thoughts.
“I- nothing, just-“ you began, but she cut you off.
“Oh I know what it is,” Sam hummed. Her confidence was making things worse for the ache between your legs. “You love the idea of me using you roughly, making you feel as if all you’re good for is being a set of holes for me. But after, you can’t wait for me to hold and cuddle you and praise you for being such a good girl for me. Am I wrong?”
You shook your head, whispering, “No, you’re not wrong at all.”
You stopped walking, trying to catch your breath as you took a drink from your own water bottle. Dinner needed to get here sooner; you were hoping that after that, she would give you what you wanted.
“Do you need to sit down? We can rest for a bit if you need to,” Sam said, watching as you nodded.
She helped you sit down on the ground and then sat down next to you. Sam took a drink from her water bottle and when she sat it down, she turned to you.
“Pull your shorts down,” Sam said, watching as you nervously looked around. The two of you were tucked into a corner and even though no one could see you, you were terrified that someone might walk by. Especially Tara.
Although Tara seemed to want the two of you to be together, you were worried that she would be angry if she caught the two of you fucking. It was a silly thought, really, but as Sam tugged at the waistband of your shorts, you focused back on her instead of your anxieties.
“What… what if someone catches us?” you asked, still nervous.
”No one is going to catch us. And even if they did, I would make sure they didn’t say anything to anyone else. Do you trust me, (Your Name)?” Sam asked.
You nodded, “Of course, Sam.”
“Then pull your shorts and underwear down and I’ll give you a little something to keep you going until after dinner,” Sam said.
You did as you were told, pulling both down as you refused to look at Sam. When they were around your ankles, she pushed your legs apart, giving you a look to silently tell you to keep them open. You bit your lip as she wasted no time, bringing her hand between your legs.
“God, you’re so fucking wet. And it’s all for me, yeah?” Sam asked, even though she knew the answer to it.
“Y- Yes, only for you, Sam,” you whimpered as she rubbed at your clit as softly as she could. She was still teasing you, but you were just glad she was touching you.
“When I’m fucking you, you’re to call me ‘Daddy,’ understood?” she asked, pulling her hand away from you.
“Please-“ you began just before Sam spat on her fingers, bringing her hand back to your pussy.
Sam rubbed faster this time, not giving you a chance to ask for more when she slipped a single finger into you. She curled it, fucking it in and out of you. You bit your lip, trying to focus on not coming so soon - having been worked up for a while, you expected it, but you were still embarrassed by how close you already were. Sam noticed, still her finger inside of you mid-thrust.
“You’re so pathetic,” Sam laughed, slipping in a second finger, “You’re already so close and I’ve barely touched you… makes me want to keep you waiting even more.”
“No!” you cried out, “Please, Daddy, please don’t stop. I can’t take anymore teasing. Please.”
Sam shook her head, pulling her fingers out of you. You watched as she brought them to her face, taking both into her mouth. You let out a whimper as she sucked on her own fingers, humming at how good you tasted.
When she pulled them out of her mouth, Sam licked her lips. “You’ll take what I give you because I’m giving it to you. You’ll be a good girl and take it all, because that’ll make me happy. And you want to make me happy, don’t you?”
You nodded, “Yes, Daddy, I do… but-“
“No buts,” Sam cut you off rather quickly.
You sighed, pulling your pants back up. Before you could stand up, Sam stopped you.
“Sam,” you whined, your eyes widened when she grabbed your forearm, “Please stop teasing me.”
Sam’s smile grew wide, “No, I don’t think I will, baby. It’s too much fun.”
You rolled your eyes, frustrated with how close you were. You were desperate and you knew you weren’t going to be able to make it through dinner, let alone wait until tonight. Sam let go of your arm so she could stand. She stuck her hand out to help you up and you took it with no hesitation, despite how desperate you were. A part of you thought she was just doing all of this to fuck with you, and that at the end of the night, she was going to tell you that she had no feelings for you at all.
“Thank you,” you said, picking your water bottle up off the ground. You took a few sips before the two of you continued to walk.
”That building with the red roof is the arts and crafts room. It’s a single room that they used to use for storage, but decided it would be a better fit for something else with how big it is,” Sam pointed out. When you nodded, she continued. “The other building next to it is empty and is never used. We’re also not allowed to use it, but I go in there sometimes at night when I want some alone time to think.”
”It seems like a good spot to clear your head after a stressful day,” you agreed.
Sam seemed ready to say something else when Chad and Tara caught up with the two of you.
“Hey Sam!” Chad smiled, pulling her into a hug, “I see you two are getting along.”
You looked down at the ground in embarrassment, knowing that if Tara could see your face then and there, she would know something was up. The last thing you needed was for Tara to ask you a bunch of questions, because at the end of the day, you were horrible at hiding things from her. She was good at getting information out of you and you were sure she was going to want to know what was going on between you and Sam.
”Yeah, we had a bit of a talk and we’re now on the same page,” Sam said.
You could hear the smirk in her voice without even having to look at Sam, and you knew she was teasing you. You looked up at Tara, instantly regretting it when she gave you a knowing look. I’m so fucked, you thought to yourself as Chad nodded and went on to talk with Sam some more as the four of you began to walk together. You knew that the moment Tara got you alone, she was going to ask you what Sam meant by “being on the same page.”
Did Sam do it on purpose, to make it so you had to wait even longer? Or did she not mean for it to happen? You couldn’t really believe that she didn’t mean to do it, because she knew how her sister was.
”I didn’t realize how hot this summer was going to be,” you complained.
You were relieved that the building you had assumed to be the dining hall was approaching. You wanted to sit down in some air conditioning, and this was your chance to get it before dinner.
”Well, I’m gonna go and get changed for dinner, Tara, you coming?” Chad asked.
Tara smiled at him, “No, I think I’m going to stay with Sam and (Your Name), but I’ll see you when it’s dinner time.”
Chad walked away from the three of you. You felt the awkwardness when you all made it to the dining hall, unsure of what to say or if you even wanted to say something in fear that Tara would ask you questions in front of Sam.
“We can hang out here until it’s time for dinner,” Sam said as she opened the door, letting both you and Tara in first before she followed behind.
“The air conditioning feels so nice,” you groaned, sitting down at one of the tables.
“I agree,” Tara nodded.
“You two get comfortable, I’m going to see how the cooks are doing,” Sam said, patting your back before walking away from both Tara and you.
You started to play with your nails, wanting Sam to come back fast. Tara cleared her throat, causing you to jump.
“So I noticed that you and Sam are getting along better, and this is the longest you have gone without annoying the fuck out of her,” Tara commented, taking the seat next to you.
Suddenly you felt as if the walls were closing in on you, the anxiety making it harder to breathe. “Yeah, w- we, uh-“ you began, but she cut you off.
“I know you’re hiding something and that’s okay, I’ll figure it out, don’t worry,” Tara smirked. “I love you, (Your Name), but whatever the two of you have going on, please don’t fuck it up.”
You have her a puzzling look, “Why would I fuck anything up? If, you know, there’s something there… which there isn’t.”
“You’re such a bad liar,” Tara rolled her eyes. “I’m not supposed to say anything, but you are my best friend. Sam… ever since Richie… she’s been different when it comes to dating. Maybe me saying ‘don’t fuck anything up’ is the wrong word choice, so I apologize for that. She… I don’t know how to explain it.”
You looked down at the table, unsure of how to respond to that. You bit your lip, wanting Sam to get back to the two of you faster than she was.
“Please don’t let that be your reason for not trying,” Tara said, and you thought it was because she sensed your anxiety. “Also don’t tell Sam I said anything, she’d kill me.”
You looked up at Tara with a small smile. “You’re right about that.”
You weren’t entirely sure what she meant, but for the time being, you decided not to question anything. You were stuck at Camp Crystal Lake for the whole summer and the last thing you needed was to fuck everything up and have to deal with things being awkward for three months.
Of course, after the first camp week was over with, you could ask to change cabins. Tara would be the most up to doing it, you were sure of it. But you didn’t want that - you had been wanting Sam for years and you weren’t going to ruin your chance just because you wanted to ask questions. You and Tara sat in silence, waiting for Sam to get back. Finally after what felt like a full hour (but was really only about fifteen minutes), Sam appeared again.
“Sorry about that, Quinn and I were talking about a few things,” Sam said, trying to hide the irritation in her voice. You and Tara knew her too well; she was doing such a terrible job.
“Are you okay?” you asked without thinking.
“Yeah. Everything’s fine,” Sam snapped, taking a seat next to Tara instead of you. You knew you shouldn’t have been surprised - she was her sister - but you were a little hurt.
You frowned at Tara before looking back down at your hands. You hated feeling as if you had done something wrong, but you also knew Sam wasn't trying to make you feel that way.
You wished you had your phone so you could distract yourself from the thought of Sam being irritated with you.
“Hey Sam?” Tara asked, causing you to flinch a little.
You refused to look up, not wanting to see Sam glaring at you.
“Yeah?” Sam asked, her voice calmer than it had been.
“You need to lower your tone. (Your Name) was just asking if you’re okay because she cares about you,” Tara snapped, making your eyes widen. You had never heard Tara stand up to Sam like that - especially not on your behalf.
Sam took a deep breath, “I’m sorry, (Your Name), Tara is right. You were just asking out of concern and that’s on me.”
“It’s okay,” you said, finally looking up at her.
“Are you sure?” Sam asked.
For the first time, you saw real concern on her face and it melted your heart. You couldn’t believe that all of this was happening.
“I’m sure,” you nodded, “But please, try not to snap at me again. We just started talking and I want this to continue.”
“I’ll try my best, but I promise you did nothing wrong. Quinn just made a comment and it irritated me. I shouldn’t have taken it out on you when you were just worried,” Sam admitted.
“Thank you.”
Finally, the other counselors flooded in; it was time for dinner. You were relieved, realizing that you were starting to get hungry. You took your place in line and as soon as you got your food, you sat back down at the spot you were in before. You breathed a sigh of relief when Sam sat down next to you.
“Make sure you eat as much as you can,” Sam leaned in and whispered, “You’re going to need all the energy you can get. If you still want me to fuck you, that is.”
You nodded frantically, “I- I still want you to fuck me. More than anything.”
Sam smirked, “More than anything?”
You nodded again, “Yes, Daddy.”
You went straight to eating your food, not wanting to say anything more to Sam, fearing that someone might overhear. When Tara and Chad sat down across from you and Sam, you began talking to Chad about your favorite TV show. Sam stayed quiet, occasionally looking at you while you talked, in awe. You only noticed once Tara started to smirk at you.
When you were done, you excused yourself. Throwing your trash away and returning the tray, you made your way out the door and toward the cabin. You needed to change into something more comfortable, having walked around in the heat for most of the day.
You changed into pajamas and laid down in bed, deciding that you were going to try to take a quick nap before Sam got back to the cabin. Closing your eyes, you pictured how Sam was going to fuck - if she was going to fuck you, at least. You were still worried that she was only playing with your feelings as payback for how much you had annoyed her purposefully over the years. Although, if Tara and Chad both knew something positive, you don’t think they would let you think she was being honest if she wasn’t.
You couldn’t sleep, too excited to see what would happen. Just as you sat up, Sam came into the room. You watched as she sat her water bottle down on the nightstand next to her bed. She pulled her shirt off, revealing the black tank top she had underneath. You licked your lips, the sight of her muscles making you ache to see more.
”I can feel you staring, and if you want something, you need to ask,” Sam said firmly. “I’m not going to hand you anything, baby. You’re going to have to earn it.”
”Sam,” you whined, causing Sam to turn to you.
”Yes?” she responded, a mocking tone in her voice that made goosebumps form on your skin, “What would you like?”
”I…” you trailed off, the words refusing to come out right away.
“Use your words. Or did you forget how to use them? Hm?” Sam teased, getting closer to you. When you looked down at the floor, Sam grabbed your chin, forcing you to look up at her. “Oh I see what’s happening. When that pretty little pussy of yours gets all wet, you get fucking stupid. Is that what it is, pretty baby?”
You closed your eyes, “Yes, Daddy. Can’t think when I’m horny.”
Sam smiled, letting go of your chin. “Good girl. Don’t you worry about having to think anymore - I can do that for you. Now tell Daddy what you want and I’ll give it to you.”
”I want you to fuck me, I’ve been wanting it for so long,” you admitted, “Please, can’t wait any longer.”
Sam moved back to her bed, sitting on the edge while she raked her eyes over your body. “Strip for me.”
You did as you were told, pulling your shirt off and throwing it onto the ground. You then pulled your shorts down, kicking them off you as quickly as you could.
“Stand up and c’mere,” Sam ordered. You did as you were told, getting up quickly and moving towards her.
Sam placed her hands on your hips, turning around so your back was facing her. “You’re so fucking sexy,” Sam hummed, unclasping your bra. “I can’t wait to fucking ruin you.”
Sam hooked her fingers underneath the waistband of your underwear, slowly pulling them down. You bit your lip as you tried to be patient. Sam was taking her time and you hated it. As soon as your underwear was around your ankles, you kicked them off. Without a word, you turned around to face her.
“Did I say you could turn back around?” Sam asked, slapping your thigh hard.
“No, but-“ you began, but Sam cut you off with another slap in the same spot. You whimpered, watching as Sam licked her lips.
“So if I didn’t tell you to turn around, what should you do?” Sam questioned, crossing her arms over her chest as she waited for you to do what you were supposed to do.
You turned back around, your back facing her once more. Sam guided you to move a little bit before she stood up. You turned your head as best as you could, but Sam slapped your ass. “Did I say you could look at me?” she asked.
You turned your head back to look straight ahead, not wanting Sam to drag it out any longer than she had already. You closed your eyes as Sam began to grab your ass - whining when she removed her hands.
“Stay still,” she warned, standing up behind you. She pulled her tanked top off, then her shorts and underwear. “Bend over your bed for me.”
You were a little confused. Was she going to fuck you now? You’d think she would at least take a little time getting you ready. Despite your confusion, you did as you were told, bending over your bed right in front of her.
“Fuck,” Sam breathed, coming up behind you, “I want to fuck your ass so badly, but that can wait for different day.”
“D- Daddy,” you whined as Sam brought her hand down to your pussy.
“What is it?” Sam asked, slipping a single finger inside of you. When you didn’t respond, she spoke again, “Come on, answer me. Just because I’ve got one finger in you, doesn’t mean you’re allowed to be stupid.”
“M’need more,” you whispered.
Sam sighed in faux irritation. “You need more? Because it seems to me that you could come with me just fucking you with one finger, considering how much you’re squeezing.”
You cried out, “Please, Sam!”
“Fine,” Sam said, pulling her finger out of you. She brought it to her mouth, cleaning it off with her tongue. Pulling out from between her lips, she spat on her fingers before bringing them back to your pussy.
Sam slowly rubbed at your clit as she moved to sit on her knees behind you. She leaned in as she slipped two fingers into you, biting your ass before trailing her tongue all the way to your asshole. She tested the waters, circling her tongue around your entrance before pushing it in just a little.
“Oh- that’s,” you moaned, gripping the sheets. Sam’s tongue on your ass felt strange in the best way and you wanted her to keep going.
As Sam continued to fuck her tongue in and out of you, she kept the same pace with her fingers. You were usually shy the first couple of times you had sex with someone new, but everything felt too good for you to really care.
“D- Daddy,” you moaned. Hearing Sam chuckle against your skin brought you closer to the orgasm you were trying to fight off. “Please- Please, I’m so, so close. Please let me come.”
Sam pulled her mouth away and hummed, “Go ahead and come for your Daddy.”
You bit down on the sheets on your bed as you came, not wanting to be heard by anyone passing by. Sam pulled out her fingers, smacking your ass with the hand that was just inside of you. “Get on your knees,” she demanded.
You quickly obeyed, looking up at Sam with wide eyes. “Open,” she said, and you did as you were told. Opening your mouth as wide as you could without hesitation, you had no time to react as Sam shoved two fingers into your mouth. You gagged around them, trying your best to suck when she was pushing them deeper down your throat.
“God, you look so fucking pretty with tears in your eyes,” Sam praised, leaning down over you. “Close your eyes.”
You weren’t sure why she was telling you to do that, but you closed your eyes - doing as she had ordered. You flinched, pulling your mouth off her fingers when Sam spat on you.
“You want something else in your mouth?” Sam asked, smearing her spit across your face.
You took a deep breath, opening your eyes once you felt comfortable enough. You nodded and without a word, Sam gripped the base of the toy and brought the tip to your lips. You welcomed the toy into your mouth, pushing inch by inch until your nose touched her stomach. When you pulled off the toy, a string of drool was left connecting your mouth to it.
Sam jerked the toy off, spreading your drool all over it. “God you’re so fucking pretty. Come on, get back on my cock.”
You leaned back in, taking the toy in your mouth before Sam grabbed your head with both of her hands. She kept you in place while she began to fuck your face at a slow pace. You looked up at Sam, trying your best to suppress the gag reflex that was threatening to act up. Sam sped up her movements as she kept a firm grip on your head.
You gagged, causing your eyes to water - which made Sam pick up her pace. You breathed through your nose, trying to relax as she pushed you down further on it, making you gag again.
“You’re such a filthy fucking whore for me, letting me choke you with my cock when anyone can just walk in. I bet you’d like that, huh?” Sam teased.
Sam fucked your face harder, letting one of her hands come down to pinch at your nose. You pushed at her thighs as you tried your best to stay relaxed. Finally, Sam let go of your nose to slap your face as she continued to fuck your mouth.
Sam pinched your nose closed once more, this time she stopped thrusting to hold you down on the strapon. You gagged again, not once, but twice before Sam pushed you off her. You gasped for breath, as you wiped the spit from your mouth with the back of your hand.
“On my bed, on your back,” Sam said, grabbing her water bottle and taking a sip. As you went to lay down, Sam handed it to you. “Take a few sips - you’re going to need it.”
You did before handing the bottle back to her. Sam smiled, “Good girl.” She sat it down on the nightstand before climbing into the bed and between your legs.
“Spread your legs. Wider,” she said, reaching over to open the nightstand drawer to grab a bottle of lube.
You watched as she squeezed some onto her hand. Bringing her now-lubricated hand to your pussy, she rubbed it into you, causing you to whimper. “Now this is your first and final warning: I’m going to fuck you like you’re nothing to me and I want you to know that’s not the case. Okay?”
You nodded, “I understand. I want it, want you to put me in my place, Daddy.”
Sam rubbed the tip of the toy against your clit and through your folds. “You stop me at any time if you need me to, okay?”
“I will, I promise.”
“Good girl,” Sam said as she pushed the strapon all the way inside you.
You let out a pained cry as Sam fucked you at a bruising pace. You brought your hand down to rub at your clit, but Sam smacked it away.
“You don’t get to touch yourself, fuckin’ greedy whore,” Sam spat, bringing her hand up to wrap around your throat. She squeezed hard, causing you to choke as she continued to fuck you.
“Nothing but a set of holes for me to fuck,” Sam grunted, letting go of your throat. “If I knew how easy you’d be, I would have done this so much sooner.”
“Fuck, S- Sam,” you gasped.
“Shut the fuck up,” Sam growled, glaring at you.
Sam slapped you across the face, using her free hand to keep herself balanced. You whimpered, feeling yourself getting closer to your orgasm. You figured Sam sensed it as well, pulling out of you.
“What the-“ you began, but Sam slapped your pussy as hard as she could.
“How many fucking times do I have to tell you that toys don’t fucking talk?” Sam asked, shoving the strapon back into you. “You really do like to be treated like you’re nothing, huh? It’s really fucking pathetic.”
Sam picked up her pace once more, not saying a word as she focused on fucking you.
“Pleasepleaseplease,” you begged. You were once again on the verge of an orgasm, but Sam ignored you. ”Daddy.”
”Pleasepleaseplease, Daddy,” Sam mocked.
Sam brought her hands up to your nipples, pinching them as hard as she could. It sent you over the edge and - to your surprise - she fucked you through your orgasm, not stopping. Sam didn’t let up, she continued at the same pace.
“I- I’m coming aga-!“ you cried out, but Sam covered your mouth.
“I’m going to have to teach you to shut up, don’t I?” Sam moaned, feeling her own orgasm approaching. “Go on, come for me, my pretty little fleshlight.”
You came, this time unable to cry out as she continued to cover your mouth. Sam stopped for a moment, leaning over you and taking one of your nipples into her mouth after moving her hand away from yours. She bit down, pulling it between her teeth.
“Fuck, ow,” you whimpered.
You kept grinding against Sam while her strapon was still inside of you. Letting go of your nipple, Sam asked, “You want to come again?”
You nodded, “Yes.”
Sam licked your nipple before sitting up straight again. “Do you think you’ve earned it? You already came twice. I’ve got a greedy set of holes here.”
Sam slowly pulled out halfway, looking down and letting spit fall from her mouth and onto the toy. She pushed the strapon back inside of you, beginning at a slow pace this time.
“All you’re good for is being my fucktoy, yeah?” Sam questioned, holding your thighs in place. She didn’t trust you, knowing you would try to close your legs when she wasn’t paying attention. “Repeat it back to me, you stupid slut.”
“I- I’m only good for be- being your fucktoy, Daddy,” you repeated, earning a satisfied smile from Sam.
“Yeah you are,” Sam laughed, picking up the pace, “Is that why Quinn fucked you last week? Hm? Are you a set of holes for her? Are you?”
“I-“ you began, unsure of how Sam would know that or why she would bring it up.
It was true, Quinn had called you over to hang out like the two of you normally did, but as the night went on, with the way Quinn was looking at you, you caved and ended up letting Quinn fuck you. You just weren’t expecting Sam to know about it. Then it clicked - that’s why she was annoyed when she came back in from talking to Quinn.
“I- it just happened, fuck-“ you cut yourself as Sam brought her hand down to rub at your clit, “It won’t happen again, D-Daddy.”
“No, it won’t, because you’re mine,” Sam snapped, pulling the toy out of you.
You cried out, unsure why she did that. Sam crawled up the bed so the strapon was right in front of your face.
“Clean up your mess, whore,” Sam said, watching as you strained your neck to get the toy into your mouth.
Sam grew impatient, fucking your face at a rough pace. You gagged as the tip of the toy hit the back of your throat, making you cry. Instead of stopping for a moment, Sam continued to fuck your mouth at a rough pace.
“God, I can’t wait to use you anytime I want. And you’re going to let me, right?” Sam asked.
When you didn’t answer, Sam stopped mid-thrust. “I asked you a question and I expect an answer. Or should I go tell Quinn that you want her back?”
“Mm hm mm!” you tried to say, but it was difficult to speak with your mouth full.
Sam knew what you were trying to say, smiling down at you before she continued her thrusts again. You looked up at her again, your vision blurry from crying.
“You’re so fucking pretty when you cry,” Sam moaned, coming as she fucked your face with the strapon.
She took a deep breath before pulling out of your mouth. Sam wiped your spit from your mouth, rubbing it all over your face as you whimpered.
“Get on all fours,” Sam ordered.
You did as you were told, getting on your hands and knees as Sam got off the bed to grab something.
“Has Quinn ever fucked your ass?” Sam asked, grabbing a condom from her backpack.
“N- No, Daddy,” you whimpered, stopping yourself from turning to look at her.
You squeezed your eyes shut as you felt the dip in the bed. Sam was behind you, running her hand against the small of your back.
“Are you lying to me?” Sam asked.
You looked back at her, “I- I would never lie to you! She’s never fucked my ass because… well…”
“Because?” Sam pushed.
“I wanted you to be the one to fuck my ass, if there was a chance that you liked me,” you admitted, looking back down at the sheets. You were embarrassed, unsure of what Sam was going to say.
“You were waiting for me to be the one to fuck your ass, yeah? Am I hearing you right?”
You took a deep breath. “Yes, you heard me right.”
“Has anyone fucked your ass?” Sam asked, her voice much softer than has been all night.
“No.”
Sam took a deep breath before getting off the bed. “Then we won’t be doing anal at all this summer. I’m not going to be rough the first time with you. Okay?”
“Okay,” you said, getting out of the position to sit at the edge of the bed, “Are you upset with me?”
“Oh no,” Sam said softly. “Why would I ever be mad at you?”
“Quinn… A week ago I didn’t know this was going to happen between us, but I promise, I only want you,” you reassured her.
Sam sat down on the edge of the bed with you, wrapping her arm around you. “Are you okay? Did I hurt you?” Sam asked with a concerned look on her face.
You shook your head, “Not at all, I had a lot of fun.”
“I’m so glad,” Sam smiled. “You were such a good girl for me, y’know that?”
You bit your lip as you felt your cheeks heat up. “Thank you.”
“Of course. Now let’s get you all cleaned up.” Sam stood up, grabbing a washcloth from her drawer. She walked into the bathroom and came back out.
She helped wash your face off, then your thighs, occasionally leaving soft kisses on your arm and shoulder.
Sam threw the washcloth on the floor and you assumed she was going to get it later. “Would you like to wear something or would you rather sleep naked?”
“I’ll sleep naked,” you said. “Can we cuddle?”
Sam laid down on the bed, patting the space next to her. “Of course we can.”
You laid down next to her on your side, closing your eyes and smiling to yourself. You weren’t sure how you got this lucky, but you were glad that you finally got what you had wanted for years.
“I’m sorry if that killed the mood,” you said.
Sam wrapped her arms around you. “Nothing you did killed the mood, I could just tell you needed a break. Plus, I’m in no rush considering we have all summer and after. I would tell you if you did something to kill my mood.”
“Okay.”
You quickly fell asleep, feeling safe in Sam’s arms.

• You CANNOT tell me he would not bombard your phone with selfies.🤣
• Your passcode being his birthday>>
• Fucking him in front of his friends because you two don’t care.
Tumblr media
Omg the way he looks in this photo is just majestic.
“Y/nn! Hurry up, I don’t know why you brought that suitcase for this year.”
“I’ve got a dorm to myself this year which means I’ve got more storage. And I’m going to use it.”
He chuckled and helped you with pulling the case up from the platform. “Thank you baby.” You thank him with a kiss on the cheek. You start looking for your assigned seats and get the window and middle seat. Opposite you is Theodore and opposite Mattheo is Tom. You guys lost Tom and Theodore a while back while you were smoking and flirting with Mattheo.
You have a seat but sit on Mattheo’s lap so you can cuddle. You are always tense about the train since your older brother left the school and doesn’t go on the tram anymore. But messing around with Mattheo makes it better.
Theo didn’t get enough sleep last night because he had girls over, of course. He fell asleep first so you decided to take a photo.💀
Tumblr media
You and Mattheo couldn’t stop laughing at how mad he looked even when he slept. When you got to know Theo you would learn that he’s probably the sweetest Slytherin out there. But he doesn’t like to show it.
But you were too busy still laughing at him to realise Blaise and Enzo had been editing photos of Tom and Draco. You open your phone to the gc to see these.
Tumblr media
Tom👺- That is not funny! Just you fucking wait tonight Lorenzo Berkshire.
Enzo🌺- I take it back!!
Tom👺- Too late.
You- BAHAHA🤣
Draco🌝- I CANTT
Tumblr media
Blaise🏋️- Draco don’t think your safe💀
Mattheo❤️- Oh shit😭 the first one is baddd buddy.
Draco🌝- My father will hear about this!
Tumblr media
You get tired after all the messing about with Mattheo so you decide to take a nap. Which results in another photo added in the gc.
Enzo🌺- Aww
Tumblr media
Theo🇮🇹- And they laughed at me for sleeping!
You wake up from the smell of liquor and w33d. Mattheo passes you the joint. “Thank yo-“
“Any snacks for the remaining journey?”
For three years in a row you and Mattheo buy nearly everything and throw it around the carriage to share. You and Mattheo have taken upon yourselves to be the parents of the group whether your responsible or not is not important. You all get high as you arrive to school.
Dumbledore’s greeting speech is always a bore and you have to sit through all the new first years hat sorting ceremony. Mattheo has got his hand on your thigh the entire time.
“Can you stay quiet for me doll?” You nod as he slides his hand up and reaches under your skirt. You try and keep a straight face while Mattheo’s hand is on your pussy. He starts rubbing your clothed cunt and eventually speeds up. Before you get to cum Mattheo moves his hand away. Tease. You take a drink to help you cool down. His hand starts to creep back as the boys share a few sniggers in the new years crying over their hogwarts house.
His hand gets higher than before as he sneaks a finger in and curls up to hit your g-spot. A squeal leaves your mouth as you cover your mouth, luckily no-one heard. Mattheo adds two fingers as he adds, “You can be as loud as you want tonight.” You smirk as you remember your good luck tradition to make the room more welcoming is to fuck on the first night.
You squirm under his touch and it isn’t long until you cum in his hand. He hold eye contact as he licks his fingers.
“We have got a new student joining the 12th year!” Dumbledore announces as you all turn your head. The brunette walks up to the hat and already looks like fun, you wanna be her friend.
“SLYTHERIN!”🗣️🗣️
Tumblr media
It’s late because I fell asleep. Enjoy and i will prolly make this a series. If I re log a post go and show them some love because these peoples works are impressive! Tyy for nearly 300 likes on a post! Navaiah💝

**Two weeks 3 days later**
The two boys stuck to what I said, they kept no contact with me… It hurt, hurt like hell that they really didn’t keep in touch, I didn’t expect them to really leave me solo- but here we are.
Slowly the whole situation became more real, I have my first private scan in 4 days- and I did feel joyous. It’s not the greatest situation, but I’m having a baby.
Truthfully the thought always brings a smile to my face, wether I’ve got Max and Lando or not. I’ve always got this baby. And that’s more exciting than anything.
The shock and tears stopped the minute I shut the door on them two boys. I knew I had to be stronger than this for my baby. And I was adamant on not letting some stupid boys bring me down in the process, I was going to do this. And I was going to be perfect, all alone.
My parents are both thrilled for me, not the entire situation… but happy for the news, which gave me the motivation I needed. I had my two parents and this little baby, I had more than enough to do this, okay my parents live back in England… but it’ll be fine.
I’ll be honest… this is my mind 24/7, reassuring myself I can do this- with or without Max’s assistance. It was a painful torture… especially when the devil on my shoulder was whispering anything but hope in my ear, telling me everyday this is going to be the struggle of a lifetime without Max… This would last for hours before the perfect little angel would shut him up, and reassure my mind that I was a mother now, and all mothers are strong, and that everything was going to be okay.
I was sitting down eating my dinner, when my phone rang out, making me jump slightly. A contact I wasn’t expecting flashing on the screen, followed by a message I wasn’t sure I’d receive.
“Landiniho 🏎️”
Please read this.
I’m sorry I haven’t been in contact, I thought it’s best to leave you be- as I wasn’t the greatest friend. What your doing is incredible- and if anything after the way Max reacted, I should’ve realised then you needed a friend than some idiot screaming because he wasn’t told a secret- I’m sorry from the bottom of my heart, I don’t want our friendship to feel like nothing to you, because it means the whole world to me… Please forgive me.
P.S: don’t give my uncle rights to Carlos please.
P.P.S: I’m so proud of you.
Love Lan x
Could I help the smile that broke out on my face? No, it’s Lando. Was I still mad at him… again no. He was just reacting in a way any friend would if their pal didn’t tell a secret. It hurt how he reacted sure… but he still my friend.
Typing a message back I sighed clicking onto Max’s contact… still reading the last message he sent
“Maxiiii 🦁”
“Hope your feeling better Schat. Me and the idiot will be round after quali x ” (Darling)
My phone sounded again multiple times, I clicked on Lando’s notification, laughing to myself at the spam messages.
“Landiniho 🏎️”
Your how far?!
Already-
I haven’t been there…
I’m sorry, are you getting an early scan?
I’d love to come?!
I’m trying to make it up to you for being a shitty friend x
Messaging him back I confirmed the scan date, time and location. Was he forgiven easily, yes. So easily, but it gave me some sense of relief knowing he cares.
The scan was a day before he had to fly out to Canada, but he was adamant on being there, meaning he had to fly from Barcelona, back to Monaco then to Canada. Which only made me feel guilty at the insane amount of effort. I’m glad I got Lando back, truthfully the sun didn’t shine without him.
The days had passed, nothing major happening, Max still hadn’t reached out, and as the days went on I was pulling myself further away from him, not wanting any association with him.
I was getting ready for my scan and my phone signalled, Lando reminding me of the appointment, he had kept in touch a lot… he really was apologetic, and I’m so glad he reached out cause it sure did dull the devil on my shoulder. He wasn’t so loud anymore…
Lando messaged last night when he arrived back in Monaco telling me he had arrived and that he would see me in the morning. I couldn’t help but feel a sense of relief, Max or no Max I had someone. I missed Max. Missed him a ton… even if whatever we did was a ‘mistake’ just having him as a best friend, someone I could talk to- I missed just him. It’s a different vibe with Max,
With Max it was late nights curled on the sofa, gossiping about paddock life, a glass of wine in hand and soft touches that we both swore was innocent, we just had another level of connection- someone who understood myself on a different level.
Lando on the other hand? It was hectic- spur of the moment kind of things, he would call at random times of the day telling me we are going somewhere and expect me to be ready- it was always an adventure! It was always a laugh and joke between two friends.
Two different vibes, with two different outcomes- my brain doesn’t function without Lando’s random calls, however my heart aches without Max’s teasing smiles and lingering touch… I was really in deep.
I was waiting around in the parking lot, legs jittering around nervously trying to spot Lando’s car anywhere, waiting only for a few more minutes before heading inside and checking myself in. I hadn’t heard from him for a few hours and he hadn’t respond to any messages… which only led me thinking he had to go somewhere else- which is fine, his a busy guy…
There was still no sign of him- and I was now getting called into the office, sighing with defeat I got up shuffling in. That little flicker of hope burning out- all I needed was a friend today…
Me and the nurse was going through a few documents, and details to cover about the pregnancy, before she asked me to go behind the curtain and remove my bottoms and underwear, placing a sheet over myself, then requesting for me lay down on the bed while she got her equipment ready. The door rattled slightly from a soft knock, causing us both to look up.
“Sorry- two minutes.” The nurse smiled apologetically before getting up and opening the door slightly and stepping outside.
Within a few seconds the door was opened again by the nurse and following behind was him.
Max- he had a cap on and was holding onto some sunglasses I guess he is calling that his “disguise” some dark blue jeans and a casual white t-shirt.
Mouth hung open I stared at him, sitting up on the bed. Ensuring the sheet was still covering myself. “What are you doing here?”
“Lando said you had an scan…”
“I haven’t heard from you in weeks.” I angrily whispered, I felt a rage in me all of a sudden to bite this man’s head of. Yet grab him and hold him tight and thank him for being here.
With his head hung low he stepped closer, giving the nurse a small smile. “Maybe we discuss all of that stuff after this?…” glancing back and fourth between me and the nurse.
And once again in defeat I sunk back onto the bed turning my head away from him. The little flicker of light burned in my chest, and I couldn’t help the small smile… it’s a good thing I had my head turned so he couldn’t see what he was doing to me.
Giving me hope again.
“Where’s Lando?” Mumbling I watched as the nurse started preparing everything.
“I- I asked him if he could wait out there.”
Nodding my head in acknowledgement the nurse then looked up smiling.
“Are you ready? It may feel a little cold- but it shouldn’t cause any discomfort, if it does just let me know straight away.”
Nodding my head again I smiled a little glancing over at the screen, trying to find any form of distraction.
Taking a sharp in- breath at the coldness of the gel, the nurse laughed a little apologising once again. She was right there was no discomfort, the room was silent as we was all watching the screen waiting for any sign of the baby.
“Anddd… there is your baby.” Pointing up at the screen, the picture showing what looked to be a small bean.
Resting my head back onto the pillow in a happy daze, I caught a glance over at Max, who was leaning over slightly watching the screen. As if it was out of instinct his hand clasped onto mine in a tight grip, like he needed reassurance for himself. Some form of clarity.
Squeezing his hand back, he broke his gaze looking straight at me, eyes shining with threatening tears, and as quick as he looked at me, he looked back at the screen.
“I’ll just go get the scan printed for you both-” The nurse disposed of the equipment before excusing herself, I untangled my hand from Max’s and held the sheet heading back behind the curtain getting dressed, nervously I shuffled back out from behind the curtain Max now sitting down hands covering his mouth, as if he is understanding the situation properly now.
“We really are having a baby…” his voice was barely audible above a whisper. Humming with a small smile more for myself. I finally got to see my baby- it seems so real now…
Tilting his head up He reached over taking my hand pulling me closer, nearly tumbling over my own feet.
“I’m so sorry.” He mumbled wrapping his arms around my waist head flushed against my stomach.
“It’s okay-”I whisper back, rubbing the top off his back before pulling away. My hands moved to his face wiping his spilled tears.
“I shouldn’t have jumped to conclusions I was just terrified-” sighing he looked down at the floor, breathing in and out slowly.
“You wasn’t the only one- I was scared to even tell you.. I didn’t exactly tell you in the greatest way…”
“Well it wasn’t my best reaction, it’s been eating me alive for these past few weeks how bad I acted…”
Shrugging I look away, taking a seat in the doctors chair next to him “Water under the bridge… just glad you and Lando are both back. Even for a day.” Nudging his shoulder he smiled a little, taking my hand once again.
“You got me for a lifetime now.” Laughing a little I hummed rolling my eyes. “Lucky me.”
Both thanking the nurse, and leaving her office Max’s hand was gently placed at the bottom of my back, like a guidance, and in his other hand he was holding the scan photo’s looking at them with a smile on his face.
The wind was nearly took out of me, when Lando practically jumped onto me hugging me tight.
“I’ve missed you.” Letting out a huff, with a little laughter I hugged him back tight. “I missed you too.” He quickly pulled away taking the scan photos from Max walking ahead of us both to the exit.
“Why does it look like rice?” Both shaking our heads we followed behind.
“Because it’s early stages Lan.” Laughing I had a little run catching up with him. “About a month and the baby will start developing little arms and legs!” Linking my arms with his, Max trailing next to us both. I reached my other arm around Max’s linking him as well, pulling both of them closer.
Max followed me back to my place, Lando was complaining that he had to go get some more sleep before his flight in the morning. Leaving us both in the car park and the screeching sound of his tires as he pulled away.
“Did you want tea or anything…?” I poked my head out the kitchen looking over at Max.
“I don’t like tea…”
“What kind of person doesn’t like tea?” I smiled teasingly at him. Shaking my head I trailed back into the kitchen. He laughed lightly following me into the kitchen standing in the doorway.
“A person called Max” he hummed crossing his arms, I spare him a glance, a small smile playing on my lips. In silence I made a tea and offered Max a bottled water, placing his across the kitchen island, me sitting down on the opposite side.
“I’m sorry again, for everything I said.”
“I said don’t worry-”
“No- it wasn’t fair on me to shift blame… if anything it was my fault we was in that situation.” Moving his drink aside, he leaned down on the counter hands clasped together.
Smiling a little, cheeks slightly red at the faint memory. “If I remember it was both of ours…”
“No.” Moving around the counter, I turned on the stool, him now standing in front of me, lost in his own thoughts.
“I knew what I wanted as soon as I crossed that finish line.” Max stared down at me, his mind looked like it was turning, like he was trying to understand himself.
“The night ended with just a slice of what I was thinking about when I got out that car and see you standing there, smiling at me. With that smile of yours… that pretty smile...” he was mumbling words, it was as if he was in a trance, his hand moving up to my face letting his thumb swipe my bottom lip slightly before tucking a strand of hair behind my ear.
I was frozen in place- scared to act on my thoughts… I didn’t want the same feeling I’ve had these past three weeks of no Max, I’d rather hold back.
“So this was all planned…?”
“Not exactly planned… I was planning on telling you the truth…” mumbling he looked down at my hands that were fiddling around on my lap. “It was just me telling you without words-” once again my face burned red at the thought of what we got up to 3 weeks ago.
“You can’t tell me you don’t feel the same?” Looking back up at me he quirked a brow- like he was taunting me for words.
“Max-”
“Ah-” Cutting me off, he stepped between my legs caging me against the island arms either side as he held onto the counter, his head had ducked slightly, trying to level with me.
“Do you, or do you not?” Shaking my head quickly, not trusting my voice, I already knew my body had given every motion for him to continue, from the way I was biting my lip, to even leaning in so our chest are nearly touching.
Humming to himself in disapproval, his hand grazed over my hip, dancing up my stomach and resting on the centre of my chest, “Your heart says different…” his eyes followed his hands as they slowly roamed my body. My body was reacting to every little touch. Telling him to continue even if I said anything different.
His fingers brushed above my heart again as he tapped his finger to the racing heart beat. “You don’t feel the same?” He didn’t even need an answer from me to know how I was feeling- I’m sure even my eyes speak for themselves.
“Max…” whispering I looked down at his hand removing the one from my chest. “I invited you for tea…” subconsciously my tongue darted out licking my bottom lip as I looked back up at him.
Raising his eyebrows a small smile playing on his lips, I tugged at his other hand removing it from my hip, clearing my throat.
“And you, don’t can’t do relationships.”
As quickly as I removed him he was back on me- like a lion stalking it prey. His lips trying to kiss every inch of my face, and as much as I was trying to hold back- I failed… my hands gripped onto his bicep and shoulder, head slowly falling back as his lips trailed down my neck whispering sweet nothings.
“You’ve stated what you think I can’t do and not what you want.”
“I don’t want something that you can’t do.” He placed a soft kiss behind my ear, making me only bite my bottom lip- trying not to give myself away any more than I have…
“Maybe I can.”
“I don’t want if, buts and maybes. I want absolutes.” Gulping, closing my eyes. I let out a shaky breath, my hands slowly moving to his chest, before I pushed him back gently.
We was both now staring at each other, breathing heavily, like it was our last.
Covering my face with my hands I stood up, my fingers combed through my hair as I left the kitchen wandering to the living room, my hands finally resting in my hips I turned to Max, who as always was following behind me.
It was awkward… the energy was still basking on lust- and me and Max just didn’t know how to use our words.
“I should go…” clearing his throat, scratching the back of his head he looked down and the floor.
“Maybe it’s for the best…” I whispered it, only because it was a lie. The silence overcoming us again.
“Right-” he moved his hands to be clasped together in front of his trousers- hiding anything to show for the little break in the kitchen. Shuffling his feet slowly he moved down the hallway to the door, quickly pulling his shoes back on.
“Oh… did you want to take one of the scan photos… you don’t have to?” Tilting my head slightly, I could barely hear myself let alone his response over my pounding heart.
I only knew what he said by the nod of his head that followed, I quickly ran to my bag in the lounge grabbing one of the scans and bringing it back to him holding it out.
Smiling a little he pinched the other corner of the photo- both scared once again to go near each other. Max was looking back down at the scan photo as he took it from me, the smile on his face only wider.
“That’s our bab-”
I couldn’t tell you what came over me- I just needed to kiss him- even if it was a last- his lips had kissed everywhere on my face today- but my lips, and they craved the sensation so terribly.
I practically jumped onto him arms around his neck- and it’s now I thank heavens for his quick reaction, I probably would’ve slid back down him if he hadn’t reacted. The scan photo getting caught between our colliding chest, both his arms were fasted tightly around my waist holding myself in the air-
Our lips felt as if they’re moulding together, both hungry, desperate, lustful.
I felt his hands slide from my waist down to the backs of my thighs tugging them up around him, before he moved back along the hall to the lounge. Both giving feather kisses, my hands tugging the end of his hair softly. He couched slightly placing me on the arm of the sofa before pulling himself back slowly.
The picture now fell from between us and we both looked down at it before he picked it back up placing it on the coffee table.
No words needed to be said, his hands were supporting me as he placed soft kisses back on my lips, and with every kiss we slowly fell back onto the sofa, Max climbing further up, one knee between my legs the other practically hanging off the sofa holding him up slightly.
And in silent agreement we both started undressing each other, as if it was the first time again. Both awed by the sight of one another.
As always, Max looked heavenly, his hair was disheveled from my fingers running through, his eyes were a bright blue filled with lust and adoration, the apples of his cheeks were flushed red… his toned body was warm to the touch. He always is perfect.
Moving closer his soft, wet kisses were making their way down my exposed chest, feeling him smiling against my skin after every kiss he placed. Mumbling things like-
“So perfect…”
“My pretty girl.”
“My schat” (darling)
I felt as if I was floating, if this is what heaven feels like I want it everyday.
I said once before- heaven wouldn’t accept two sinners. And there’s no way I could stop from sinning now- if it meant locking me up in the depths of hell I would happily dance myself down to the gates only if I can have Max devouring every inch of my body like he was.
He worshipped my body, and took me on highs I don’t even remember either of us reaching the last time we ended up in such positions.
When all was said and done, our bodies heaved with exhaustion, Max still pulled back on his underwear and hauled himself upstairs to the bathroom getting wet towels to clean us both up with. He even helped me get my underwear and his T-shirt on… he took such gentle care with me, it was difficult not to love him.
It took some time before our breathing levelled out, Max turned his head bringing his lips to kiss my forehead. A small smile tugged at my face, my head now leaning against his shoulder.
“Please stay the night…” he moved his hand around cupping my cheek, placing more kisses to the top of my head.
“Don’t have to ask twice.” My smile widened and I responded with a hum.
“I’m going to make a cup of tea, did you want a cold drink?…” slowly I pushed myself of the sofa stretching turning to look at him.
His hands slowly moving up each sides of my legs, as he looked up at me.
“I’ve got more water?”
“Actually I’ll have tea.” I raised my eyebrows at him, brushing some hair back.
“Are you trying to impress me?”
“Of course not, I’m just a guy who drinks tea.” Laughing a little I push his head back gently leaving him in the lounge.
We have so got this Verstappen.

Chapter 18
You store your backpack in the lockers provided for the purpose, then step into the line for the metal detector. You looked up what to expect when you visit somebody in jail, and so far everything checks out. It’s a long line. You wait your turn, step through the metal detector with no incident, and make your way up to the check-in desk. The officer behind it gives you a cursory glance. “Name?”
You give it, along with your birthdate, and she types it into her computer. A moment later her expression relaxes. She’s just seen that you’re quirkless, which means she can let you in without any special accommodations or extra guards. “Who are you here to see?”
“Aiba Manami,” you say. “My cousin.”
You haven’t been reading the news very much. You wouldn’t have known that Manami and the villain she works with had been arrested if Isuzu hadn’t texted you in all caps, asking if you’d seen the news and dropping the link when you said you hadn’t. And sure enough, there was Manami’s picture, right next to her villain crush’s at the top of the article – only they didn’t call her Aiba Manami. They called her La Brava, the name her villain gave her.
Isuzu was scandalized when you asked if anyone in the family had gone to visit her. You knew that meant no, so on your next three-day gap, you made plans to go see her. And here you are, hanging out in a visitation room, waiting for the guards to bring her in. You’re the only one in this particular room, and you know why. Manami’s quirk is useless without her villain nearby, and they’ve almost certainly separated them. And you don’t have a quirk, so you're useless overall. It’s safe. Enough.
When the guards bring Manami in, it’s clear that she’s been crying. A lot. Her eyes are red, and her permanent dark circles are augmented by bruises from rubbing them. She looks shocked to see you at first, but it’s not long before her eyes fill with tears again. “I didn’t think anyone would come. The family is so mad –”
“Fuck the family,” you say. Tomura and the others must be rubbing off on you. You never used to swear this much, as evidenced by the fact that Manami’s jaw drops and a startled, nervous laugh sneaks out. “I’m sorry I didn’t come sooner. I’ve been kind of keeping my head down.”
Manami’s gaze sharpens. “Why?”
“Um – no reason. Not really.” You need to be more careful. There’s nothing you’ve said so far that doesn’t sound suspicious. “Should we sit down?”
Manami sits down on the table, and you sit down in a chair. She’s so tiny that even the height boost from the table doesn’t put her at eye level with you. “How are you doing?” you ask, before she can ask you anything. “I don’t know all of what happened, obviously, but I – um –”
“Gentle fought Midoriya, and he lost.” Manami sniffles, while you try to conceal your shock. Midoriya Izuku really gets around. “My love wasn’t strong enough.”
“I bet that’s not it,” you say at once. “That kid’s just berserk. Nobody who runs into him gets away clean.”
Manami picks her head up out of her hands to give you a weird look. You look back, trying not to panic. Your brain-dead civilian act won’t work on Manami – she’s known you your whole life, and she knows the kind of tricks you play to fly under the radar. Then her gaze slides away from yours, and her eyes fill with tears again. “If I had just loved him more –”
“Did he say that? Your – uh, Gentle?” If he did, you and he are going to have words at some point. You might not be very intimidating, but your friends are terrifying, and you’ve picked up a few tricks from them.
“No.” Manami wipes her eyes again. “Of course not. Gentle loves me. He would never. Have you – have you seen him? I don’t even know where he’s being held.”
You shake your head. “I can find out if you want.”
“Oh, that would be wonderful! I haven’t seen him in so long!” Manami’s expression transforms. You really hope that’s not what you look like when you think about Tenko. “You should meet him. He’s the most handsome man in the world, and he’s so refined and elegant – and honorable – and tall! Tall boys always thought I was too short, but he can carry me around all day if he wants to.”
You absorb that image with some difficulty. “Nobody in here understands,” Manami continues. “They say I’m too nice to have ended up a villain, but they’re only saying that now that it’s too late. Everyone was cruel to me before. None of them cared. Except him.”
She looks back at you, her eyes bright. “Our charges aren’t that bad. They can’t keep us here forever. I know we’ll be together again once we’re out.”
You envy her confidence, and the fact that she’s right. If Tenko gets captured, he’s never getting out of prison. The only way you’ll be together is if he wins. “I’ll find out where Gentle is,” you promise, and Manami smiles. It shouldn’t be hard to do. Kazuo could probably find out without even touching his quirk. “I’d like to meet him sometime. I’m glad there’s somebody who makes you this happy.”
“Really?” Manami looks surprised. “My mom called me and yelled at me about him. And my dad. Everybody.”
“Fuck them,” you say patiently. The sooner Manami picks up that attitude about your whole stupid family, the better. “If he treats you well and makes you happy, that’s what I care about. Even if he likes tea a little too much.”
“Ugh, that’s how we got caught!” Manami flops backwards onto the table. “Midoriya Izuku ran into us and Gentle had to say something about him ruining the aftertaste of the special tea – and then Midoriya knew about the tea – so then Gentle had to talk to him about it –”
This sounds like a train wreck. “I didn’t know tea could do that.”
“Me. Either.” Manami sighs. “He was so excited that somebody else might like the weird stuff he likes. I can’t be mad at him for loving stuff. Even if he was dumb about it.”
She glances at you. “What would you do if your boyfriend was doing something dumb?”
“Drag him out of there.” That’s basically what you did that night in the convenience store, and you and Tenko weren’t even dating. “But I’m taller than you. It works a little better.”
“I knew it!” Manami crows, and you jump. “I knew you had a boyfriend! You didn’t even deny it.”
Manami’s sneaky. You forgot about that. “I was being hypothetical.”
“No you weren’t. You aren’t very good at makeup,” Manami says. You freeze. “Maybe you could fool a boy, but any girl could see that hickey from space.”
You clap your hand over the side of your neck, but it’s already way too late, and Manami laughs so hard she starts crying again. Maybe you’re bad at makeup, but you’re going to blame this one on Tenko – Tenko, who missed being crushed to death by inches seven times during the last fight cycle, and was so strung out on adrenaline that you could barely get him to focus long enough to try to fuck him to sleep. If he couldn’t focus on that, there was no way he could focus on not being loud, and he bit down hard on you to muffle himself so the others wouldn’t figure out what was going on.
There wasn’t time for you to grab a condom, so your first errand of the next fight cycle was the morning-after pill, followed by drugstore-brand makeup to cover up the bite mark. Apparently you did a bad job. A really bad job. “How do I fix it?”
“Tell me about the boy first.” Manami wipes her eyes. “Do you have a picture?”
You do. It’s old, and it’s in a locket around your neck, and your hand twitches upwards to it before you can stop yourself. Manami’s eyes track the motion. “Let me see.”
You hesitate. There’s a chance that Manami will be able to recognize Tenko – she went to your fifth and sixth birthday parties, and he was at both of them – but even if she recognizes him as a kid, she probably won’t be able to match his face to Tomura’s as an adult. You unclasp the locket and hand it over. “This is him as a kid. I don’t have a recent one.”
“Oh, he’s cute.” Manami tilts her head, studying the photo – and then her eyes widen. Her voice goes whisper-quiet, so much that you have to lean in to hear. “He’s alive?”
You nod. “He’s who I think he is,” Manami says, and you nod again. Of course she guessed. She’s a villain, and you know for a fact that villains keep track of each other’s press clippings. You should have thought of that, but you didn’t. Maybe you wanted her to know. “How?”
“They took him.” You’re not sure how else to phrase it subtly. Manami closes the locket and hands it back to you. Her hand is shaky. Yours is steady. “I’m lucky I found him again.”
“Lucky?” Manami shakes her head. “No.”
“What do you mean, no? Look at your boyfriend.”
“My boyfriend is a gentleman thief. He’s refined and elegant and he wants to write his name into history by making things better.” Manami’s proud of him, proud in a way you can’t be proud of Tenko, and your stomach twists with guilt. “Yours did – that.”
She’s pointing at the bite mark on your neck, the one she was teasing you over a few minutes ago. Now it’s something evil, just because of who left it there. “I could be into that,” you say, and she gives you a frustrated look. “It’s not any different than you.”
“It is. Look at me.” Manami gestures to herself, her eyes brightening with tears again. “Me and Gentle don’t hurt anyone. Gentle wants to help people and show them another way. What does your boyfriend want?”
To tear the world down, so something better can be built by people who know what needs to be fixed – but he has to tear it down first, and that will come with casualties. Lots of them. You’re slow to answer, trying to package it in a way that doesn’t sound insane and terrifying, and Manami takes your hesitation for what it is. “You don’t have to do this,” she says. “You’re not like I was. You have friends. You have a real job you like, and you’re normal. I mean, quirkless, but normal.”
Not quirkless, but that doesn’t matter. You stare her down, daring her to say what she actually means. To her credit, she does. “You don’t have a reason to do this,” Manami says, and she talks right over you when you protest that you do. “That means you have a choice. It doesn’t have to be him.
“I don’t have a choice,” you say. If she’d just let you talk, you could have explained, but you don’t need that many words to do it. “I –”
You’re trying to say you love him. If you can’t say you love him – to your cousin, who knows all about love that ruins you – who can you say it to? You try again. “I don’t have a choice. I – I lo – I do. I lo –”
Manami’s hand clamps down over your mouth. “Don’t,” she orders. “You have to save it.”
“What?” Your voice is muffled. “I can’t say it. I’m trying. I don’t know what’s wrong with me. Why can’t I say –”
“You can. You have to save it for when it counts.” The door to the visitation room opens, and over Manami’s shoulder, you see a guard step through. Two guards. No, three. “You’ll find Gentle, won’t you? You promised –”
“I’ll find him,” you say. You grasp Manami’s hand, hold it tight. “And I’ll be back to visit you. I promise.”
“Please think about what I said,” Manami says. She looks worried – worried, and sad, and even when the guards come to collect her, she hesitates long enough to try one more time. “It’s not too late. You don’t have to be like me.”
You thought you and Manami would be on the same page about things, since you’re both in love with villains, but apparently not. Apparently Manami sees the League as much worse than Gentle Criminal, just like the League sees Overhaul as worse than they are – and she’s worried about you. Yoshimi’s worried about you, according to Mitsuko and Ryuhei, but Manami’s worry worries you more. And then there was what she said while you were stuttering and panicking around the admission that you love someone you’ve loved in one way and another for almost your entire life. Save it for when it counts. What does that mean?
“Wait.” A guard stops you as you try to walk out through the metal detector and you nearly jump out of your skin. “Take that off.”
He’s pointing at your locket, and your hand flies up to cover it. “Yeah, that,” the guard says. “Take it off before you walk through.”
“It was fine before,” you say. Your nerves are jangling. “Why do I have to take it off now?”
“The prisoner touched it.”
“So you think her quirk works on a locket?” You can’t be combative right now. You can’t make waves – but you’re angry with yourself, angry with Manami, and you don’t want to hide it. “She touched my hand, too. Are you going to make me take that off?”
“Take it off or I’ll detain you,” the officer says. If you’re detained, they’ll search your backpack, and if it comes down to them looking at a baby photo of Tenko or checking out the gun in your backpack, you know which one you prefer. You take off the locket and drop it into the guard’s palm. “Thanks for your cooperation.”
You stand there, seething, as he pries open the locket and studies the photo inside. It occurs to you that the guards were watching you and Manami, that they saw her reaction when she opened it. Of course they’d want to take a look. But the guard never met Tenko, doesn’t know what to look for, and after a moment, he hands the locket back. “Was that so hard?”
“No,” you admit. You look down, bite your lip, the picture of quirkless contrition. “Sorry. It just means a lot to me.”
“Of course,” the guard says magnanimously. They’re all magnanimous once somebody gives in. “Go on.”
You walk through the metal detector again, retrieve your backpack and your phone, and step out of the jail. It’s a sunny day, but it’s cold, and you wish you’d brought a heavier coat. Or a scarf. It’s not hard to imagine that the bite mark is beaming like a searchlight from your neck, letting everybody know just how bad your boyfriend is at keeping quiet. You alter your priorities. You’ll get a scarf first. The firing range will still be there after you’ve covered up.
This far into the fight against Gigantomachia, and your errands during each fight cycle have taken on a new pattern. Food and sleep first – as guilty as you feel for eating hot food and sleeping in a bed when Tenko can’t, you’d feel guiltier if you made a mistake because you were too hungry and sleep-deprived to keep a clear head. Once you’ve gotten that out of the way, you do a few things to maintain the ruse that you’re on a leave of absence from work, then check up on the others.
Usually that means corralling Toga, or finding Compress before he can fence whatever he’s stolen. He’s recognizable enough that it’s safer for you to fence it yourself. You worry less about Spinner. Spinner tends to stick close. If he’s not shadowing Tomura or passed out and snoring, he’s usually following you. Once you’ve checked up on them, made sure they’re eating and sleeping in addition to whatever else, you run an errand of your own. You’ve got a gun now. You need to make sure you can use it.
You go to at least one firing range every fight cycle, sometimes more. You’ve learned how to tense yourself against the recoil from a shot, how to load and reload quickly, how to clean the gun, disassemble it, and fix any problems with it before they get work. The main thing, the most important thing, is shot selection and accuracy. Your accuracy is decent – not quite as decent as it is in Call of Duty, but above average. It got a lot better once you stopped trying to aim for the head.
You don’t need to aim for the head. You don’t want to kill somebody. What you need to do is slow them down long enough for you or your friends to get away, and that means hitting somewhere in the center mass. The fact that gunshots to the center mass can kill somebody just as easily as shots to the head is something you try not to think about. You’ve got a lot of practice not thinking about stuff by now. Enough that you can almost forget about the casualties that will result from tearing everything down, and forget basically everything Manami said except her stories about her villain boyfriend and your twin promises to visit her again and find out where he is.
You text Kazuo to ask if he knows where Gentle Criminal is being held, telling him specifically not to use his quirk to find out, and put your phone away. Then you step into your booth at the firing range.
You’re good enough at it now – barely – that you can practice firing one-handed, firing from positions other than square-on in front of your target. You’re also practicing using the gun for something other than shooting people. One of the guys at the firing range in Nagoya, an ex-cop who took a shine to you in a way that made you deeply uncomfortable, told you that a gun’s not helpful at a distance of less than twenty feet. Somebody with a knife can close that distance faster than you can fire. Dodging a knife strike and clocking somebody in the side of the head is a better bet, so today you’re practicing that, too. You’re as useless with a latent quirk as you were without one, so finding another way to be useful in a fight is your top priority. A stupid latent quirk is the same thing as no quirk at all.
But even as you practice firing one-handed, firing from a crouched position, firing from the floor, you can’t shake off what Manami said. Her hand covering your mouth, her order to save it for when it counts. Save what? The I love you? Sure – you should probably tell Tenko before you tell anybody else, as soon as you figure out how to get the words out of your mouth. What was weird was how intense Manami was about it, but Manami’s always been intense about love. Intense enough to cover your mouth about it? Maybe. Maybe she just wanted you to shut up about how much you love Shigaraki Tomura, aspiring of the supervillains, while you’re in the visiting room at a jail. She’s been at this longer than you have. She’s better at it.
She’s the second person to point out that Tenko’s hurt you, and she and Mitsuko had the same reaction. You’d be worried about it if you didn’t know the whole story, but you can’t explain that your boyfriend bit you because he’s loud in bed or that he hates letting even you see him cry. You also can’t explain that you don’t hate the bitemark, that you don’t want people to see it but aren’t mad that it’s there. You definitely can’t explain that you’re trying to build a new world, and you’re terrified of the thought that he won’t be in it with you.
And there’s no possible way to explain that you’ve weighed the world against the idea of losing Tenko again and decided that keeping him was more important. Not without sounding insane and selfish and awful. Not without sounding like a villain.
You stay at the firing range, drilling over and over again until the time you’ve paid for runs out, and then you check your timer. Four hours before the end of the next fight cycle, and the new base camp is two and a half hours away. That’s plenty of time for you to get there before Tenko does.
Or at least that’s what you think. There’s a disruption in the train service, courtesy of some villain, somewhere, and you wait as ten minutes, forty-five minutes, an hour and a half tick by. There’s no way you’re going to make it there by the end of the fight cycle, and you might miss the break entirely. You have to be there. You need to see Tenko and make sure he eats and sleeps, so that the next fight cycle doesn’t end with him being killed. This far in, he’s barely alive. You don’t know how he’s keeping it together. You don’t know how anyone is.
Another twenty minutes slip past with agonizing slowness. You’re getting desperate. If Kurogiri was here, you’d have options, but he was captured months ago, and you don’t know anyone else who has a –
Yes, you do. You dig the earpiece the doctor gave you out of your backpack and activate it, jamming it into your ear. The doctor’s already on the other end of the line, and that strikes you as weird, but you don’t have a chance to think about it any more before he speaks. “I was just about to reach out to you, Saintess. There’s been a development.”
Your blood turns to ice. Tenko can’t be dead. He’d have told you first if Tenko was dead. If Tenko was dead, you’d know. “What is it?”
“Shigaraki Tomura has devised a plan to destroy both of his enemies at once – the Metal Liberation Army, which has challenged him to a battle, and Gigantomachia, whom he has yet to defeat.” The doctor doesn’t explain who the MLA is, but he doesn’t need to. You’re quirkless. You know all about the people who want to make society’s might-makes-right thing explicit instead of poorly concealed. “I’ve just transported he and the others to the outskirts of the battlefield. He gave me explicit instructions to keep you away from the fight.”
“No,” you say at once. “I’m the medic. They need me. I have to be there.”
“My thoughts exactly,” the doctor says. Oh. “I believe you could be very useful indeed. Stand by for transport.”
You hold still. The doctor heaves a dramatic sigh. “That means get out of sight, dear.”
You’re an idiot. You duck into the bathroom at the train station and lean back against the door, blocking anyone from coming in. “I’m out of sight.”
“Excellent,” the doctor says. A moment later, your mouth fills with black sludge.
When you get to the edge of the city that must be the battleground, the fight’s already in full swing. You can tell by the clouds of dust that are rising, the flashes of blue flame appearing and vanishing just as quickly. Tomura must have called for Dabi. Dabi, but not you. Dabi can fight.
“Allow me to provide the lay of the land,” the doctor says. “The Meta Liberation Army has a hundred thousand members in this city alone. Shigaraki’s objective is to hold them off, without drastically reducing their numbers, long enough for Gigantomachia to awaken and pursue him here – where he will theoretically clash with the MLA and incur enough damage to allow Shigaraki to defeat him.”
It’s brilliant. Tomura’s plans these days usually are. But when you check your phone for the time, your heart sinks. “They’ve still got an hour left. That’s too long.”
“That’s where you come in, my dear. The MLA left you out of their calculations entirely due to your perceived quirklessness.” The doctor sounds smug as all hell. “I’ll direct you where you’re needed. With that gun of yours, the amount of ammunition you’re carrying, and the practice you’ve been putting in, you should be quite effective in thinning the MLA’s ranks – assuming, of course, that you’re willing to get your hands dirty.”
You made that decision a while ago. You put on your veil and crown. It’ll complicate your vision, but you couldn’t practice with it on. “I’ll do what needs to be done to keep Tomura safe.”
“Let’s hope he proves worthy of your devotion. Descend into the city. Avoid the main avenues and work your way towards the tower in the center.
It’s a distance down to the city, and the doctor put you on a rocky slope. There’s probably a defined path down, but you don’t want to waste time looking for it, and you roll and slide and tumble your way down to level ground, the doctor tsking in your ear the entire time. You ignore him and choose a deserted side street, working your way towards the chaos in the center of the city. The doctor gives you periodic updates. “Toga has neutralized her opponents, but she was injured – no, no, my dear, your objective is Shigaraki.”
“I’m the medic. If Toga is hurt –”
“Twice is on his way to assist her, and her injuries aren’t immediately life-threatening.” The doctor’s voice takes on a bite of impatience. “You’ll be able to aid her later, assuming Shigaraki’s plan succeeds – which it may not do if you waste time here.”
Helping Toga isn’t wasting time. But there’s a bigger picture here, and you know it. You pick up the pace again, jogging through the streets, until the doctor tells you to stop. “Dabi and Compress are near. Dabi’s opponent could stand to be distracted. Avoid being seen.”
So you can’t help Toga, but you can help Dabi? The doctor’s priorities are pissing you off. You creep closer, pivoting down a small alley and climbing into a building, peering out a broken window for a better view. There’s Dabi, and Compress. And there’s his opponent, some guy with white hair in a blue coat, who’s doing his best to crush Dabi and Compress under a hail of ice.
Strategy isn’t your strongest suit, but this one is easy. Dabi is the League’s only ranged combatant – other than you, and you barely count. If Dabi loses this fight and switches to chasing Tomura, it’s over. Ice Guy is moving around a lot. You take out your gun, make sure it’s loaded, make sure there’s a round in the chamber. You can’t stay here long. You have to get out fast, so you give yourself three shots to get the job done. You peer up over the window frame, steady yourself, flip off the safety, and hook your finger around the trigger. Ice Guy is holding still for once, bantering about something with Dabi. Perfect.
You fire all three shots in a tight burst, but you aren’t solid at this distance, or this angle. You miss with all three, and you cringe in embarrassment. Ice Guy falters for a second, looking around wildly for the source of the gunfire. You drop to the floor and belly-crawl out of sight, gritting your teeth at the amused note in the doctor’s voice. “Obviously it would have been better if you’d hit him, but he’s unsettled enough to hand Dabi a momentary advantage. All Dabi must do is make use of it.”
You make your way into the building’s back lot, then through a gate onto a quieter street. This one is lined with piles of dust. Big piles of dust, and two sets of footprints through them. “Tomura was here. And Spinner?”
“Yes, although Spinner’s unable to compensate for Shigaraki’s near-incapacitation.” The doctor gives you a new direction to run in and keeps talking. “I admire your efforts to keep him healthy, but they’re ultimately futile. The exhaustion will kill him sooner rather than later.”
“Later,” you correct. He can die of exhaustion when you’re both ninety. “Where are they?”
“Continue straight, then turn left at the next major intersection.” There’s an edge in the doctor’s voice now. “If I were you, I’d hurry.”
You pick up the pace, furious with yourself for not being able to move faster. Training with a weapon clearly wasn’t enough – on your days off, you should have been improving your physical fitness, enough that scrambling from house to house as cover on a street parallel to the one Tomura and Spinner are traveling on would be nothing to you. You turn left at the next intersection and you’re bolting down the street when the doctor orders you to hide, his voice loud and sharp. You dive into the shelter of the nearest fenced yard just in time to see a horde of figures dressed in black and white stampede down the street Tomura and Spinner are apparently on. It looks like Twice. Twice, but hundreds of him.
You thought his quirk would only let him make two copies, and he never copies himself. What happened? “It appears his quirk has awakened,” the doctor says, and you realize you’ve spoken aloud. “If only the same thing would happen to you.”
“If I could do that, I’d know.” You poke your head up over the fence to see if it’s clear, and one of the Twice clones spots you. Shit. You duck down out of sight, but you know he’s coming. “What should I do?”
You hate yourself for asking, and the doctor doesn’t answer. At least not in a way that’s helpful. “Your objective is to aid Shigaraki. Proceed with that in mind.”
Before you can even begin to parse that, the Twice clone reaches over the fence and grabs your arm, pulling you upright. “Hey, you’re not supposed to be here! Shigaraki said to keep you away!”
“I’m supposed to be here. I’m the medic.” You struggle to pull your arm free, but he’s stronger than you. “Let go. I have to help him –”
“We’re helping him.” The clone’s chest puffs with pride. “Don’t worry, sister. Your boyfriend’s in good hands!”
You need to get away from Twice. You need to get away from him right now. What’s the chance that this is the real Twice? Next to none – you can’t imagine the real Twice leaving Toga’s side if she’s hurt. With that in mind, what you’re about to do should have no consequences whatsoever. “I’m sorry,” you say to the clone, and you strike him so hard in the side of the head with the barrel of your gun that he collapses instantly into sludge.
“Wonderful. It seems you weren’t lying – your devotion to Shigaraki does extend to getting your hands dirty.” The doctor sounds pleased. You don’t feel like anything at all. “Continue your pursuit course. Shigaraki has pulled ahead of Spinner, but you shouldn’t have trouble catching him.”
You decide against using the main streets, opting instead to hop fences and cut through backyards and alleyways. You don’t want to have to kill any more Twice clones. You don’t have the greatest view, but you’re sure the doctor will tell you if you need to speed up. Tomura might be in the midst of a battle, high on adrenaline, but you’ve eaten and slept in the last three days, so you must have the advantage in speed. You’ll catch him soon. You have to.
You hear the screech of tires, followed by the sound of hundreds of feet on the road – and then a voice, booming out through a megaphone. The voice that responds is quiet and thin in comparison, but you recognize it. It’s Spinner’s voice. Is Tomura with him? No, the doctor would have told you to change course, and he’s said nothing of the kind. Out of everyone in the League, Spinner’s the most loyal to Tomura, second only to you. He wouldn’t leave Tomura for anything. You break the back window of one of the houses, climb in, and pick your way through until you’re peering through the front window. There are too many people in the way. You head for the stairs.
Once you’ve got the elevation, it’s obvious – Spinner’s trapped in the middle of an angry mob. There’s a news van blocking his way, and a guy standing on top of it. He’s calling Spinner by what must be Spinner’s real name and saying the kind of things that make you see red. Spinner shouts back, owning it – owning weakness, owning a lack of vision, owning unimportance except as a follower to better people. That’s not all he is. You don’t let anybody talk to your friends like that, your friends included.
You need to do something. “No,” the doctor hisses in your ear. “Pursue Shigaraki. Leave him.”
“No,” you say. The doctor makes a scathing, offended sound into the phone. “That’s not who I am.”
You don’t have enough bullets in your gun or your backpack to take out the entire crowd, but you can handle the guy in charge, and the resulting chaos might be enough of a distraction that you can yank Spinner out unnoticed. Forget this only-three-shots nonsense – you extract another clip from your backpack and set it down beside you, at the ready once you empty this one. You break the window you’ve been peering through, trusting that the mob’s own noise will cover the sound, and screw the silencer onto the end of your gun. You haven’t practiced with it much, or at all, so you don’t know how it’ll disrupt your shot, but between the gun and the clip you have nine shots to get the job done. At least one of them will have to hit.
The man on top of the van has just donned a mask. Probably a support item rather than a shield, but you were never aiming for his head. Your first shot strikes him in the shoulder. He staggers, turning halfway just in time for you to empty the clip, sending two bullets tearing laterally through his torso. You eject the empty clip and load the next, and in the time that takes, your target collapses. His blood is pooling on top of the van, running down the sides. He’s not moving. Unless somebody in the crowd has a serious healing quirk, he’s dead.
You turn away from the window and race back down the stairs, keeping the gun hidden at your side. Most of the mob’s forgotten Spinner in their efforts to help the leader, and Spinner’s crawled through them, heading towards you. He must have guessed who was shooting. He’s the only one in the League who knows about the gun.
You race out of the house to help him up, drag him out of sight. One person notices the two of you, and you shoot them without thinking twice. Not fatally. It won’t be fatal if they get some help soon.
Spinner needs help right now. He’s bleeding, and while you can see the puncture wounds in his shirt, you can’t tell how deep they are. “You’re wasting time,” the doctor hisses in your ear.
You ignore him, but Spinner unknowingly echoes him a moment later. “Don’t worry about me,” he says, grimacing in pain. “Get to Shigaraki. He needs you.”
“I’ll patch you up and we can both go.”
“No, you need to –”
There’s a colossal explosion from somewhere in the distance. At least, you think it’s an explosion. You don’t know what else to call it, except that it’s the loudest sound you’ve ever heard, and it makes the ground rattle beneath your feet. You and Spinner both freeze. “What was that?”
“Change of plans, my dear. Get as far from here as possible.” The doctor’s voice is in your ear again – and in Spinner’s, based on the way Spinner startled. “Shigaraki has engaged the leader of the Liberation Army, and his chances won’t be improved if he’s distracted by your presence.”
“What if I just shoot him?” you ask. Spinner stares at you. “The leader of the Liberation Army. Could I get a clear shot?”
“He’s the size of a house,” the doctor says, and your stomach clenches tight with fear. “You could hit him from the moon if your weapon had the range. But you don’t, and he’ll see you coming, so –”
“He wouldn’t care about me. You said it yourself. I’m quirkless, so I don’t factor in.” You help Spinner straighten up. “I’m Tomura’s sidekick. I can’t let him fight alone.”
“You can if doing it will get you flattened.” Spinner stumbles as the ground shakes again. “Give me the gun. I can do it.”
“You won’t be able to get clear in time.” Get clear in time for what? At the kind of range you’ll need to be effective with a gun this small, you won’t be able to get clear, either. The ground rattles again. “I have to do this.”
“Yes, I believe you must.” The doctor’s voice is crisp and abrupt, almost as abrupt as his change of tune. “I’m quite impressed with Shigaraki’s fortitude. I’ll be sending another gift to assist him in this fight, in addition to you. Spinner, make for the outskirts. I’ll direct you to Toga and Twice. Saintess, head for the center. Stay out of sight as long as you can.”
There’s no time for you to patch Spinner up. The two of you trade a glance and a nod, and then you split up. Spinner books it in the opposite direction of the disaster that’s unfolding at the center of the city, and you run towards it.
What you see there in the midst of the destruction horrifies you. You’ve only caught glimpses of Tomura’s battles with Gigantomachia, but you’ve heard stories from the others, and in spite of the fact that the giant he’s fighting this time is smaller, you can tell from a single glance that his odds are worse. He was tired going into this fight, and he’s already injured beyond what you or anyone else could fix. And unlike Gigantomachia, this giant can talk.
He wants to know what Tomura’s going to do with the world, if he survives. “Is the pursuit of destruction your only worth as a human? The world you wish to create will be as empty as you are.”
“It’s not my world.” Tomura’s face is smeared with blood. One of his legs is twisted at a terrible angle, broken so badly you can’t believe it’s bearing his weight. His left hand is mangled, missing two fingers at least. He can’t fight like this. How could he? “It’s for them. They can choose what’s in it.”
It’s for him, too. If he gives you the chance to build a new world, you’re going to make it worth living in. “They can choose?” The giant scoffs. “Your pack of outcasts and delinquents don’t have that kind of vision. None of you can see beyond your own petty desires and think of the greater good!”
“I don’t need to see it.” Tomura stumbles sideways to avoid a strike, then loses his footing and falls. “She can.”
He’s talking about you. You get set, raise the gun, and fire.
The giant is too bulky for your bullets to make much of an impact. You’d have to hit him in the eyes or the mouth, and you’d have to get closer for that. He reacts to the shot like you’d react to a mosquito bite, mere annoyance and temporary distraction, and Tomura struggles back to his feet long enough to exploit the opening. For a split second you’re drawn back to the games the two of you played as children – facing some terrible villain, distracting them so Tenko could land a decisive blow. The same game as always. Now it’s real.
Even with the giant distracted, Tomura’s injuries are slowing him down. It’s not just that he’s limping. You come closer, unable to stop yourself, and you see how badly he’s favoring his other side. He’s only got one hand, his quirk at half the strength it used to be, and even as your empty the remainder of your clip into the giant’s torso, load another, and fire again, you know you can’t do enough to make this fight one Tomura can win. If you’ve really got a quirk, if there’s something you can do, now’s the time.
But there’s nothing. Why would there be anything? If you had anything more you could do, you’d do it. if running into the middle of things and getting killed to save him would mean he’d win, you’d do it in a heartbeat.
You wouldn’t hesitate, but you won’t get the chance to choose. The giant’s spotted you. He swats Tomura aside with one hand and turns his attention to you. “So you came to join us after all,” he says. You hold your ground. If he comes close enough, you’ll have a clear shot at his eyes. “It’s a shame to say so, Saintess, but there’s no place for your kind in our future. I’ll put you out of your misery.”
You shoot him. It glances off his cheek, and his footsteps rattle the ground, jarring your next shot into thin air. “You’re only resisting the inevitable,” he continues. “Is this truly a world you want to live in? A world where meta abilities are used freely, where your kind are left to occupy the lowest rung of society while the rest of us wait for evolution to wipe you out?”
You’ve heard people with quirks say some truly out-of-touch things, but that might be the worst. You open your mouth for a retort, but instead of a snappy comeback or heartfelt appeal to humanity, laughter pours out. You can’t make it stop, and the giant stares at you, puzzled. Behind him, you see Tomura rising from the dirt, all his weight on his knees and his mangled hand. It only takes a split second’s thought to understand why he’s putting pressure on his injured hand instead of the good one, but it’ll all be for nothing if you can’t give him time. You need the giant to keep looking at you.
He hasn’t looked away. Your semi-hysterical cackling is keeping all his attention. “Is something funny?”
“This world you want,” you start. You have to pause to suck down air, aware that he’s coming closer to you, aware that you can’t let him look back at Tomura. “It’s the same world we have right now. I’ve lived in your perfect world my whole life.”
Tomura steadies himself. You see him steady his right arm with what remains of his left hand before the giant’s bulk fills your vision. You look up at him, holding his gaze even as he raises his hand to crush you to a bloody paste on the ground, and you smile, even though your veil hides your face. “It’s our world now.”
The giant’s fist comes down towards you. You hear a distant scream. A split second later, the ground falls out from beneath you.
You can’t decide if you’re dead or not. You’re falling through a haze of dust and ash, listening to screams that fall abruptly silent, flinching as buildings crack and crumble around you. Above it all there’s a sound you’ve never heard before – half howl of rage, half insane laughter, all rough and painful, as though it’s tearing apart the throat it’s issuing from. Tenko’s still alive. You can’t die yet. You have to get to him.
Maybe your quirk is some kind of willpower, because even though the impact with the ground is agonizing, you’re on your feet within seconds of the hit. You find yourself standing on the edge of a massive crater, one that’s swallowed half the city. You’re not the only one at its edge. You see Spinner, Dabi, Compress, Twice – about a billion clones of Twice, holding as many clones of Toga, and Giran off to one side with a clumsy bandage wrapped around his hand. The League of Villains made it through.
A few members of the Meta Liberation Army made it through, too. They’re staring down into the crater, sheer horror on their faces, as they look at what’s left of their leader.
He amputated his legs to avoid getting caught in the wave of Decay Tomura unleashed, and the part of you that’s a nurse and not a murderer notes that those wounds will need to be cauterized soon if he wants to avoid bleeding out. But the leader of the Meta Liberation army is a footnote, an afterthought. Tomura’s down there, too. Tomura’s on his feet. His hair’s gone pure white, and his right arm’s been torn to shreds.
He and the Liberation Army’s leader are talking. You can’t hear what they’re saying, at least not at first. Not until the leader announces his unconditional surrender and orders his soldiers to lay down their arms – or rather, to turn them over to Shigaraki Tomura, the new leader of the Meta Liberation Army. Tomura’s won, and it’s not just the MLA who’s submitted to him. When you glance at the far side of the crater, you see Gigantomachia crouched there, calm and awaiting orders. It’s a mark of just how focused you are on Tomura that you didn’t even notice.
The enemy leader’s still talking, but Tomura’s not paying attention. He’s looking up, around the edges of the crater, his eyes lingering on each member of the League. Twice and Giran to Twice and Toga, Dabi to Compress to Spinner, and finally to you. You hold his gaze, unsure of whether to take down your veil and smile, not certain if he needs reassurance that you’re okay or if he’s just making sure you’re alive. Then his face goes pale beneath the mask of blood. You see his eyes roll up in his head, and before you can make a move to help him, he pitches sideways, unconscious.
The enemy leader is the one who catches him, and something snaps in your head. You hop the edge of the crater and skid down the slope, racing towards them. You’re not the only one on the move – Spinner and about fifty Twice clones are doing the same thing, and the enemy leader is shouting for help. Somebody with a healing quirk, maybe. Or transport to a hospital. You can’t think. All you can think about is getting Tomura away from the person who was trying to kill him five minutes ago. A person whose soldiers will kill you all without him to lead them.
You pry Tomura out of his grip, slide your backpack off your shoulders, and start giving orders. “Twice, take the sterile pads and start packing them onto his legs.”
“Whose?”
You gesture one-handed at the giant, who’s not so giant anymore. “Re-Destro,” he introduces himself.
“Yeah, him.” Once the Twice clones are in motion, you unwrap the scarf you bought earlier today and shove it into Spinner’s hands. “Use that as a tourniquet for one of his legs. Find something else for the other one.”
Spinner doesn’t question it. You wonder if he’s made the same calculation as you have, figured out that your survival is tied to Re-Destro’s for right now, but now that you’ve got people helping him, you can focus on Tomura. And Tomura is – is –
The rise and fall of his ribcage is lopsided. He’s got a punctured lung. His shirt’s been torn away, and most of his torso is turning a strange mottled color, one you remember all too well from the victims at Kamino. Internal bleeding. His left hand’s down to three fingers. His right arm’s all but flayed. His leg’s broken so badly that you can see pieces of his femur protruding through his skin. The only thing that’s still working properly seems to be his heart. He still has a pulse, but he needs more help than you can give him. You can’t tourniquet internal bleeding. You can’t stitch wounds inside his body. As much as you want to save him, this is out of your skill set by a hundred kilometers.
You hear a helicopter approaching, and when you look up, you see a cross painted on its side. Medevac, but they’re here for Re-Destro, not for Tomura. When he sees the medics approaching, Re-Destro shakes his head. “Take him. I can wait.”
You’re terrified that they won’t listen, but Re-Destro’s minions are loyal. They come to Tomura’s side instead, load him onto a stretcher, and rush him to the helicopter with you chasing after them. One medic turns to tell you to back off and you shout in her face. “I’m a nurse! I can help!”
You’re not sure if she believes you, or if she just believes that you’ll throw yourself in anyway and spend the entire flight clinging to the landing gear if she says no. Whatever her reasons are, she steps aside, and you scramble onto the helicopter alongside Tomura’s stretcher.
You’ve never been inside any helicopter before, and you have a feeling that most of them aren’t this nice. They have actual gear, actual scanners, and while you get pressed into service trying to secure Tomura’s broken leg, then promptly kicked out to deal with his right arm, the medic who let you in runs a scanner over his torso. The image pops up on a screen attached to the cockpit divider, and when you glance up at it, your heart plummets a thousand meters, all the way back to earth.
Internal bleeding, just like you thought. Massive internal injuries, the kind a person can’t come back from, and the medic who ran the scan shakes her head. “Even if we had the blood to transfuse him, we can’t waste resources. This is ATC, and with those injuries – he’s not going to make it to the hospital.”
“No.” Your voice comes out watery and weak. “There’s something you can do. There has to be. I know –”
“You’re a nurse. You should know.” The medic gives you a look. “He’s got minutes. Say your goodbyes.”
It feels unreal. It can’t be real. This can’t be happening. Not like this, not after everything the two of you have been through, not after he’s won. How could you have let this happen to him? You look back up at the scan, hoping desperately that something’s changed and finding nothing. The medic is right. You’re a nurse, and you should know – a patient with injuries this severe isn’t someone who can be saved. No matter how many surgeons could work on them, no matter how many units of blood they might be transfused, there’s no way to hammer life back into a body this damaged. It’s cruel to try.
You lift his right hand, careful to avoid making contact with all his fingers at once. You can’t kiss it, but you bow your head over it all the same, fighting back tears. You can’t face the thought of never hearing his voice again, never linking little fingers with him again, never kissing him or making him laugh or playing another game. You swore you’d follow him through the end of the old world and into the new one. You can’t lose him again. If you could take his place, you would.
“Tenko,” you whisper, even though he can’t hear you, even though everything that matters is already beyond your reach. Maybe that’s why it’s easy to say, why the words are lighter than air on your tongue. “Tenko, I love you.”
You curl over his hand, eyes shut, head bowed. You can’t watch the light leave his face. Feeling his hand go limp and cold will be horrible enough. You stay still and wait as seconds tick past. Seconds, then minutes. The medic said he had minutes. How many minutes did she mean? A spark of hope catches in your chest and you smother it without mercy. He’s gone. You can’t have him back this time. He’s gone.
You hear the medic’s voice, but nothing she says makes sense. “Scan him again.”
“Why?”
“Just do it.”
You stay where you are until someone nudges you aside, but you don’t open your eyes, and you don’t let go of Tenko’s hand. The scanner hums as it runs over his limp, nearly lifeless body, then emits an excruciatingly loud beep. Even with your eyes shut, you see the flash of the screen coming to life. The medic’s voice is hesitant, stunned. “Holy hell.”
“That’s not possible,” the other medic says. “It isn’t! Not without –”
Both of them stop talking. If they’re not going to explain, you should look up and see for yourself. You open your eyes, and sit up, and that’s when you see the second scan, side-by-side with the first. And they’re – different. The first scan is apocalyptic, unsurvivable. Even someone with no medical training could tell. The second scan is bad, too, but it’s better. Better enough to change his status from black-tagged to red-tagged in the medics’ opinion, because they get back to work, working around you rather than telling you to move.
It’s weird, because you’re definitely in the way. You’d ask you to move, if you were them. Do they need you to help? You ask, and the other medic lets out a cracked, uncomfortable laugh. “You’re more useful where you are.”
“What?” you say blankly. “I don’t understand.”
“I do,” the doctor says in your ear. You’d forgotten he was there. “Tell me what you see.”
You describe the first scan, then the second. “Hm. It sounds to me as if Shigaraki’s body is repairing itself,” the doctor says. “Small repairs, obviously – he still requires major surgery and quite a bit of luck – but even such repairs take hours, days, or even weeks to occur naturally. And here they’ve occurred within the space of a few minutes. My dear Saintess – it seems you have a quirk after all.”
The doctor keeps talking, about how he and All For One are never wrong, how you were so silly to doubt him, how he knew your quirk would awaken if the right circumstances were met, and you ignore him. It’s easy to do, just like it’s easy to ignore the medics as they pivot around you, easy to ignore the pilots’ discussion of which MLA-controlled hospital to make for, easy to ignore the fresh scan that pops up on the screen, revealing even more improvement – impossibly slight, but enough. You focus on holding Tenko’s hand, keeping it safe between yours for the landing on the hospital’s roof, the race down to the operating theater, the hours and hours of surgery that leave you dead-on-your-feet tired, interrupted only by orders to move this way or that.
You’re still holding his hand as they wheel him out of surgery, into the recovery unit off the ICU. Still not thinking. Still ignoring everything but his hand, warm and wrapped in bandages, a pulse still beating in his wrist. He stirs slightly in his sleep, eyelids fluttering half-open with no awareness behind them, and you wonder if he’s in pain, if you can call someone to medicate him so he’ll get a good night’s sleep for the first time in months. Your hands are stiff and frozen around his, locked into position for hours on end, and you force yourself to let go. You might need your hands to help him. You’re still a medic, still a nurse. He might need more from you than this.
You leave your little finger linked with his, though. It’s tradition by now, and tradition, too, to tighten your grip just a little bit, letting him know you’re here. “I love you,” you say, in case he’s listening. It still feels easy to say.
Tenko doesn’t stir, doesn’t open his eyes. But his breathing is even, his heartbeat steady, and his finger hooks a little tighter around yours. He’s all the way under. It’s just a reflex, but you’ll take it as proof: In spite of everything, he’s here, too.

photographer - pablo gavi
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
summary: gavi has a crush on the club‘s photographer, but he‘s afraid you don‘t speak spanish.
genre: fluff
———
Sitting on the couch with the phone in your hands, you scrolled through old pictures, smiling at all the beautiful moments you’ve experienced over the years. Giggling, you turned your head towards your boyfriend, gavi.
He was watching a random football game when he turned his head and shifted his attention to you.
„what‘s so funny hermosa?“ he asked, stroking your legs which were draped over his lap.
„i just found the picture i took of you when we first met.“ you snickered, making gavi turn his head in embarrassment.
„amor, this is so embarrassing.“ He groaned.
„no it was cute! It just makes me laugh that you told me you were too shy to speak english.“ you replied, shuffling closer to him and put you head on his chest.
———
„¿quién es?“ gavi asked fermin, trying to sound unbothered by your presence.
„who?“ fermin asked, not really understanding what his friend was saying.
„who is the new photographer? i’ve never seen her before.“ he tilted his head towards you, who recently started working as a club photographer. you were twenty, moving from England to Spain, pursuing your dream in sports photography. Pure coincidence led you to this job, now taking pictures of sweaty footballers every day. Couldn’t be better right?!
„ay Pablito likes the new photographer huh?“ fermin nudged him, earning a smack from his friend.
„OW!“
gavi wouldn’t tell anyone for the first few weeks but he found you very cute. During his trainings he glanced over to you sometimes, seeing you do your job and take pictures for the official FC Barcelona account.
After one particular fun practice, he walked back with Ansu to the locker room. On his way back, you stood on the sidelines, encouraging the players to pose for a post-practice picture.
It was the first time he heard your voice, a british accent coming through.
„smile!“ you asked kindly when ansu and gavi walked past. Both flashed you a smile, making your lips turn upwards too.
After the „click“ sound, you glanced back up, holding eye contact with gavi for a few seconds. As the two players disappeared into the tunnel, you couldn’t help but blush at the thought of the nineteen year old.
Tumblr media
@fcbarcelona: training done🫡 ✅
———
„just ask her out after practice hermano!“ pedri urged gavi but he just shook his head resolutely.
pedri found out about his little crush not much later. gavi wasn’t the best at keeping things to himself, he just couldn’t keep secrets.
„hermano, I can’t speak english!“ he spoke frustrated after hearing you talk with a british accent.
pedri just laughed out loud, his head flying back as he clutched onto his chest.
„bro, be serious I bet she can speak spanish. At least a bit. You can speak english too!“ pedri argued, encouraging his younger friend to make a move.
„Have you ever heard me speak english? I sound stupid with my accent!“ gavi just waved him off, getting into a shower to clear his mind.
It has been a week later and gavi still didn’t talk to you. His heartache grew stronger over time, seeing you everyday engrossed in your work made him weak. Little did he know, you had your focus more on gavi than on any other player, snapping some good pictures of him during practice.
The next day, gavi came home late, deciding to ask you out the day after. Stressed as he was, he downloaded Duolingo to do about three exercises before he grew even more stressed and deleted the app again.
———
tying his boots, he received a crash course from ansu. he could speak english quite well in contrast to gavi.
mid-sentence he shot up, glaring at his friend.
„how do you know I have a crush on the photographer?“ he asked bewildered as he saw ansus smirk on his lips.
„almost the whole team knows, don’t tell pedri your secrets pablito.“
he was fuming but walked off earning funny faces from his teammates.
you were doing your job like always, trying to get some good shots when gavi walked in front of the lens, doing a silly pose.
you glanced up from the camera, blushing as you saw gavi smiling at you.
„did you get a good shot?“ he asked rather shy, his thick spanish accent coming through.
„yeah. not really hard when you’re the model.“ you chuckled, seeing Gavis lips curl up into a smile at your words.
„could be the other way around too, you know?“
your heart fluttered after hearing the footballers words, a blush creeping up your face.
„i‘m gavi by the way.“
you just laughed, seeing the puzzled expression on the boy’s face.
„i know who you are, silly. I‘m Y/n.“ you said, feeling much more comfortable now after seeing how nice gavi actually was.
he relaxed too, feeling a good connection between the two of you.
„so, i‘ve seen you around for some time now and thought you were really cute. is there a chance to get to know you better?“ gavi asked, before seeing his teammates walk onto the pitch alongside xavi.
„yes of course. i could give you my number.“ you offered and placed the camera down next to you.
„Sería perfecto.“ Gavi answered, forgetting you didn‘t speak Spanish.
„my english isn’t the best, i mix it up sometimes.“ He said and scratched the back of his head.
„don’t worry, your english is perfect. I‘m the one who should learn spanish!“
He smiled softly at you when you scribbled your number on a piece of paper and handed it to him.
„gavi! come here!“ xavi shouted, interrupting the cute moment between you two.
gavi glanced over his shoulder, seeing the whole team staring at you.
„go, or else xavi will kill me for talking to his beloved youngster.“ you chuckled as Gavi laughed at your joke, pulling you in a short hug.
„see you around. i‘ll text you.“ he spoke, already running to the group before he earned a slap on his head from pedri. fermin basically jumped onto his back as he told them what the two of them were talking about.
———
„if you didn’t speak English that day, i probably wouldn’t sit on your lap right now, don’t you think?“ you asked and put your hands around his neck, pulling gavi closer to you.
He just smirked cockily, pulling you into a sweet kiss and mumbled a quiet „mhmm“.

——————————————————————————
Your head was pillowed on Nick’s chest, your fingers skimming over Nick’s soft stomach, occasionally trailing it across his chest hair which makes him giggle, and you were trying to figure out how to tell him you’d been asked on a date. Nick was running his fingers through your hair, occasionally placing a soft kiss to your temple, and your head is racking on how to explain that this will be the last time you will ever be in bed with him. You both had just finished a particularly sweet bout of intimacy, you felt utterless boneless, and you needed to somehow tell Nick you couldn’t keep doing this.
When you had first met Nick — at a party thrown by Larray — you’d immediately been drawn to him. How could you not be; Nick was cute and soft, so handsome in a way that still somehow felt comfortable and approachable. Eyes so blue and piercing that your heart immediately fluttered at the first eye contact. And Nick had apparently been drawn to you as well, at least that was the impression you got when you both ended up making out in the corner of the party a mere hour later.
After that first time, you both just kept… hooking up. Initially, it was only at parties, both gravitating towards each other and ending the night entangled in some way. Soon, after Nick had insisted you and him exchange numbers, it morphed into scheduled hook-ups, no pretense of a party required. And then you both started hanging out afterwards, trying a new restaurant or watching a movie or just talking. You’d catch meals together and facetime each other before going to sleep.
You weren’t sure when you both transitioned from random strangers hooking up to hook-ups who occasionally hang out to inseparable friends who also happen to hook up with each other, but you didn’t want to question it. Nick was maybe the best thing to ever happen to you, and you weren’t about to complicate that with logistics.
A finger ran over your face, smoothing out the wrinkle that had appeared between your eyes, snapping you out of your thoughts and into the present. “What’s got you so stressed?”
I thought I was okay with us just being friends with benefits but someone else asked me out and I’ve realised that I don’t want to go out with someone who isn’t you but that’s not what this is and I don’t know what to do about it because this isn’t enough but I don’t want anyone else.
“Mm, nothing.” You nuzzled into Nick’s chest.
“I know you. You don’t get that little crinkle between your eyes unless you got something on your mind.” Nick kissed the area in question, featherlight and soft.
“You know that guy, Curtis?” You focused on the tattoo of Nick’s arm, smoothing over them lightly, marveling at the goosebumps he left in his wake.
“Um, I think? That one guy that’s stalking you?” Nick chuckled, and the vibrations in his chest shook you just a bit. Just enough to remind you how physically close you and him were in that moment, as if neither boy existed without the other. Something panged near your heart.
“He’s not… He’s not stalking me.”
“Oh, so he just happens to appear everywhere you are? I don’t think we’ve gone anywhere in the last month without him ‘randomly’ showing up. He’s obsessed with you.” Nick pushed back your hair from your forehead and kissed you there. “Can’t say I blame him, though.”
Your chest ached. You weren’t sure when you’d fallen in love with Nick, but you were now firmly in the throes of it and every delicate gesture from Nick, every word of affection, every tiny touch, twisted something deep in your stomach. When Nick held you like this, naked and sated and warm, and looked at you with those adoring eyes, touched you like you mattered, You found it almost impossible to hold back all that you was feeling.
“You obsessed with me, Nicolas?” You hoped the joke would defuse some of the tension, maybe make Nick believe you too could be cool and casual about all of this.
“Yeah,” Nick whispered before cupping your face like you were something precious and pulling you into a kiss, small and slow and perfect.
You wanted to cry.
You needed a moment to gather yourself after Nick pulled back, eyes closed and lips still puckered.
“What did Curtis do?” Nick’s fingers returned to your hair.
“He, uh, he…” You thought it may be less painful to pluck out his own eyelashes than continue. “He asked me out.”
You hadn’t known how you thought Nick would react, but laughter had not been anywhere on your list. But Nick did just that, laughing boisterously, shaking them both. “Oh, wow. Poor Curtis.”
Poor Curtis. What did that mean?!
You frowned and sat up, needing to somehow find a way to put space between yourself and Nick. You turned to face the wall and crossed your arms, fighting back tears.
“You don’t have to be cruel, Nick.”
“What?” Nick sat up too, placing a tentative hand on your shoulder, which you shrugged off. “I just meant—”
“I know what you meant!” You looked down, concentrating on Nick’s white sheets. “Just because you don’t want to date me doesn’t mean no one else does.”
“What?! What are you talking about?!” Nick almost sounded angry, as if you were the one mocking him.
“People can like me, Nick! People can find me attractive and compelling and worthwhile.” Tears formed in the corners of your eyes.
“Babe, I know that—”
“So why did you laugh? Why did you pity Curtis for liking me?”
“What are you talking about?!” Nick sounded on the verge of tears as well, which finally made you turn to look at him.
His face was flushed red, his eyes glassy and wet, and he almost looked scared, as though your words were wounding him somehow.
“I’m worth someone liking me like that. I deserve that.” Some of your resolve was slipping at Nick’s expression, but you still managed to choke out a self-defense.
“I know that. You think I don’t know that?!” A tear slid down Nick’s cheek.
“You don’t get to cry, Nick. You’re the one insulting me.”
Another tear fell down Nick’s perfect face, splotchy and red, but still perfect. “I don’t get to cry when my boyfriend seems to be trying to break up with me by accusing me of not liking him and talking about another guy asking him out?”
“Wh–what?”
“I’m gonna cry over that, baby.” Nick’s voice was thick, his face now covered in a steady stream of tears. “I’m gonna cry over you breaking my heart.”
“Boyfriend?”
“Don’t make fun of me.”
“You have a boyfriend?” Since when did Nick have a boyfriend?
“Apparently I don’t anymore.” Nick’s voice caught at the end, a sob escaping his mouth.
“I— I’m your boyfriend?” Were you an idiot? Had you been dating Nick this whole time? You reached out to grab Nick’s face, wiping tears with the pads of your thumbs. “Nick. I am genuinely asking you: am I your boyfriend?”
Nick gaped at you. “I— yes? I thought so.”
You floundered for a moment, surveying Nick’s face for any sign of insincerity. Instead, all you found was wide-eyed hope. In lieu of any verbal response, you pulled Nick’s face to your own, kissing him with all you had, all the twisted aches in your stomach, all the blind hopes in your heart. You guided Nick back down, settling on top of him as your kiss deepened. The only thing you could think was NickNickNick.
“Mm.” Nick lightly pushed you back, separating your lips so he could talk. “You really didn’t know?”
“You never said anything. I don’t even know if you liked me like that, I thought we were just… hooking up.”
Nick stroked a thumb over your bottom lip, blowing a soft breath of laughter out of his nose. “Baby, I’m almost embarrassingly in love with you.”
“I didn’t know. You never… I didn’t know.”
“I guess I could have been clearer. But I thought when we started actually going on dates…” Nick trailed off, cheeks flushing.
You groaned and dropped your forehead to his chest. “You know damn well people now go on dates and have sex casually. How was I supposed to know we were serious? I thought we were friends who hung out all the time and then had sex.”
“Yeah, my love, that’s what dating is.” A beautiful laugh bubbled out of Nick, a bit watery from his crying, but still so lovely and bright.
“Okay, well, that makes it a lot easier to turn Curtis down.”
“I may not like that he went after my boyfriend, but without him, you may have just assumed we were platonic best friends who kiss for the rest of our lives. Our grandchildren gather round to hear our love story and you’re like ‘he’s just my friend, he doesn’t like me like that.’”
You raised your head and grinned wickedly. “Grandchildren?”
Nick smiled back, soft and glowing. “Oh yeah, we’re ride or die besties. May as well go in on one headstone, purely for financial purposes. And one last name too. Again, for financial purposes.”
“You proposing?” Just joking about it made your stomach do several backflips.
“Nah, not yet. We have to at least buy our own house first.”
You chuckled. “Hey.”
“Hm?”
“I’m embarrassingly in love with you too.”
You settled back onto Nick’s chest, resuming your skimming of his stomach, listening intently to Nick’s heart race. Despite having been in this exact position ten minutes prior, you felt lighter now, none of the trepidation and insecurity remaining.
Nick wanted you — loved you — as so much more than a friend with benefits, and you had never been happier.

Summary: You are moving on from your mistake meanwhile Pablo is realizing his own.
Tumblr media
January, 2023
It has been four months since that day. Four months which you haven’t seen Pablo. Four months of misery for you. And also for him.
When you left his apartment that day, a sickening feeling got into his stomach and it didn’t go away with anything he tried, his hands were shaking and his mind was running wild. He couldn’t concentrate on anything besides you, your confession, your sad expression and your leaving.
He knew that you asked him for time. But he couldn’t give that to you. He wanted you to know he still had you present in his life and hoping that you had him on yours too. And you sadly did.
You were absolutely a wreck for the first month. Not going outside unless it was for grocery shopping and Uni. Until the second month arrived.
Pedri, who had been your personal cheerleader, picked you up one day, got you a nice outfit and made you get in it, for you to go out with him in a friendly date where Ansu and Balde, joined you and ate everything they normally couldn’t or wouldn’t, because of their diet, but they decided than seeing you happy and like your old self was worth some calories more.
He even made you change Gavi’s contact name on your phone, to help your process get quicker and made you forget about his constant texting.
From that moment on, you started going out, you missed having a good time with the people you loved, with your friends and family, and not necessarily accompanied of Pedri, you went out with your girl friends, you Uni group, groups from other degrees at your Uni that you were close with. You were back.
Of course, you missed him. Terribly. Often at nights, you would scroll down on his messages and see what updates he has been giving you
Pablo Páez Ansu fell on his butt today, you would’ve laughed your ass off
Pablo Páez I made a happy salad *Photo* I hope you’re doing good, I’ve been better…
Pablo Páez Xavi keeps asking for you to tie my shoelaces, he keeps saying I don’t know how to do them
Pablo Páez Practice went well
Pablo Páez I just ate a kilo of bananas.  I won’t die, right?
Pablo Páez It’ll sound impressive but I just won Pedri on FIFA. Your gaming lessons paid off Now, I have to try and win you. He told me you were doing fine and I’m glad. I can’t wait for us to reconnect again
Pablo Páez De Jong said he missed having you around on practice I agreeded with him
Pablo Páez Pedri just ate his banana from the bottom to the top, you’re gonna kill him?
And many more of those but still, you choosed not to reply any of them, only really “talking” to him when the World Cup started, when he scored his first goal during it and when they lost against Morocco also you had texted him on Christmas and New Years.
Other times? You were ghosting him.
It was hell for him.
The first month of you doing that, for Pablo it was horrible. He couldn’t concentrate at practices; he messed up great plays, the passes weren’t precise, at games he was angrier and aggressive than usual, he wanted desperately for you to talk to him, Pedri tried to talk him out of it but the youngster snapped at his best male friend.  Only to come back to him a few minutes later apologizing.
Pablo thought that with time he could get over it, but no. Four months after and you were still on his mind and the anxious feeling was bigger and bigger on his chest.
He started to realize something, he felt awful, destroyed, sad and was mad at himself, he cried and cried to sleep that day for being too stupid and idiot to realize it
Yes, during WC, he had mastered a way of concentrating at practices and games but you were still on his mind. Always.
He was extremely angry, disappointed and sad to hear that you wouldn’t be there with him at his first WC, but still understood, already imagining the rest of his performances where you would be there cheering on for him and only him, the loudest as you have always have done.
In your defense, you did try your best but Uni got up to you and you weren’t done by the time it started, you couldn’t leave Spain even if you tried your best.
But, you haven’t properly seen each other since that day. And it was the first time you were going to. In Arabia Saudi for La Supercopa España, the Clásico. Barcelona vs. Madrid.
Pedri had invited you to come and you being a culer and the greatest friend, didn’t waste any time and asked permission from your parents to fly with the González.
“Is Samuel coming too?” Pedri asked with a cheeky smile
“¡Cállate!” He laughed seeing you blush
Samuel, is one of the guys that attends to your Uni but he’s doing a different degree than yours. During the last weeks of November and the first’s ones of December he had been asking you to hang out alone and you accepted. You definitely liked him.
He was cute, really cute and pretty. He had light green eye color, he was one head taller than you, blonde wavy haired and he had the most beautiful dimples at both sides of his smile; he was careful, paid attention to your needs, to whatever you were saying and remembered the smallest things you said randomly, he was funny and he never failed to amaze you.
But still, he wasn’t Pablo.
“Pedri, no lo sé” You had said
“This is your chance. It’s not like you might end up married to him anyway! Or you will… Who knows? Don't take it as a rebound kind-of thing. But maybe you can forget about Pablo, reconnect your friendship and at the same time have a lovely relationship with a guy who’s clearly into you”
And that’s how you started dating Samuel. And that’s also how you got into the present day.
“But you know he will” You spoke
“Gotta start making up the whole ‘Older-brother’ talk thing”
“Please, don’t scare him away. He’s really nice, I like him” You immediately said making Pedri laugh out loud while shaking his head a little. When a message pulled up in your screen.
Pablo Páez Are you coming to the Supercopa España? I know we aren’t in the best terms but I would love to see my favorite girl cheering for me on a live game… It’s been a while since you’ve done that.
“What’s up?”
“Pablo’s asking me if I’m going to the Supercopa” You said showing the message to Pedri who had been playing FIFA with you for about an hour ago
Pedri shrugged his shoulders “You wanna tell him?”
“I wanna surprise him” Silence filled the room
“You know even if he tries to hide it” Pedri started “, he’s not doing fine. He misses you a lot. A whole lot” You sighed
“I miss him too” You nodded sadly “I shouldn’t have said anything”
“No. You should have and you did. Feelings are the best when they’re being let out”
“But at what cost? I ruined my friendship with him and it’s not something you can easily go at it again. It’ll take me so much time to forget about those feelings I have for Pablo, Pedri. Maybe he feels guilty, awkward, I don't know... It’ll take a lot of time of being at that level we were once. You know it. I know it. Hell, even Pablo knows it. But it’s too hard being all in one day and suddenly stop being there”
“But you will do” Pedri said putting a hand on your thigh “I fully believe you will get, both of you, your feelings straight and keep on with that beautiful friendship you both have” Pedri nodded smiling lightly “I still think he’s in love with you but hasn’t realized”
“I still don’t think he is but who cares now?” You shrugged your shoulders
“I’m just afraid he’ll realize it when it’s too late to try anything” Your eyes moved to Pedri’s as you both stared at each other in silence
“If” You start pausing to take a deep breath “If he does have feelings for me” You said slowly “I hope he realizes them quickly” Your phone dinged once more making you part your eyes from Pedri
A light smile made its way to your face seeing Samuel’s name pop up on your screen
Samu✨💖 Walking down the street, I saw a cute puppy. It reminded me of Aladdin, hope he’s feeling better. PS: I got him some treats for tomorrow when I see him. And don’t worry, I also got you a little present, couldn’t forget about you.
You sighed watching those two names on your home screen “Because I’m really liking Samuel and it’ll be hard for Pablo if I move on”
“Hard as in?”
“As in completely erasing myself from his life for a long and indeterminate amount of time, until I’m entirely happy and healed” Your eyes locked with Pedri’s as both of you sighed
“Do whatever you feel better doing, bonita” Pedri said slowly and in a low tone “Just know I’m gonna be here for you, always”
________
“Y/N!” Belén, Pablo’s mom said making you turn your head towards her with a smile on your face
“Belén!” You exclaimed happy to see the olderly woman approaching her to hug her tightly
“¡Que te has desaparecido, niña!” (It’s been a while, baby!) You laughed lightly
“I know” You whine “Y lo siento muchísimo. Es que he estado un poco ocupada con mis cosas en la Uni, Pablo ha estado ocupado en los entrenos y no hemos tenido mucho tiempo juntos desde hace un tiempito” (And I’m truly sorry. I’ve been so busy with College, Pablo has been busy with trainings and we haven’t spend time together in a while) You tried to come up with a little lie but you knew better
“I know that. Pablo told me what happened” You sighed a little “It must have been really hard for you, my dear”
“A lot” You whispered sadly “I just thought… For a second, he would feel the same”
“We thought so too. You acted like a couple. Pablo, Aurora and I actually thought you were already together” You smiled sadly at the thought of that “How’d you handled it?”
“Pretty bad in the first month but Pedri dragged me out of my house and I’ve slowly come back into what I was” She smiled grabbing your hand “And Pablito?”
She sighed “I think Pedri must have told you, hadn’t he?” You nodded lightly “He still isn’t taking it too well. Sometimes I catch him looking through your photos together” You sighed feeling bad for your best friend “He was way too moody during the World Cup”
“I can only imagine” You both laughed lightly “I was busy with Uni, it wasn’t a lie” You began “… But I also wasn’t ready to face him; I mean… I’m barely starting to get over him with a very few baby steps. Pedri invited me but I came here to surprise him actually, he doesn’t know I’m here, I told him I would try and do my best to come and I can sense he got angry at me. I have never missed one of his matches and to miss all these…”
“It took a toll on him” She ended as you nod lightly
“I do miss him a lot and besides everything I don’t want him to think we’re done. Because we aren’t. I just need myself time” You explained “And I wanna start making things right, he doesn’t love me” You said laughing without humor “And I’ve got to accept that even if I don’t like to. But that doesn’t mean I won’t stop being there for him. And I’m here to prove that to him. I made the mistake of falling in love with my best friend but I’m not quitting on our friendship”
Belén said nothing but hug you tightly “Pablo does love you, dear”
“Not in the way I would love him to”
“There’s no one better for him than you” You shook your head disagreeing with her
“I’m not his person, Belén” And with that you broke the hug
“He hasn’t realized”
You were tired of hearing that.
“And I don’t think he will because I’m just not it for him. I cannot force him. He may be sad at the fact I was in love with him, that he broke me unconsciously and that he might lose me as his best friend but he doesn’t see me like that”
“Y/N” She began when you felt an arm wrap around your waist, you turn around to face Samuel with two water bottles
“Me he perdido de regreso. Todo se ve azul, rojo y blanco” (I got lost on my way back. Everything is blue, red and white colors) You laugh lightly accepting the water
“Thank you so much, Samu” You kissed his cheek, right on where his dimples show making him, pull you closer to him.
“Disculpa, ¿Interrumpí algo?” (I’m sorry, I interrupted something?) He asked feeling a bit guilty
You turned to Belén who was looking at you with a light smile.
“Not at all, hijo” She said
“Samu, she’s Belén, my best friend’s mom” You introduced her taking a deep breath “Belén, he’s Samuel Carnevale, my boyfriend” You watched at how her face fell a bit but quickly covered it up
“Nice to meet you, miss”
“Igualmente cariño” (Likewise, dear) She said slowly nodding
“Y/I, want me to save you the seat?” You nod eagerly to hear Belén’s thoughts
“He looks like a nice lad” She said when he left you again, you nod
“He is” You mumble
“I’m happy you’re moving on” She said, you felt relieved to hear those words “Still a bit sad I’m not going to be your mom-in-law” She laughed lightly as you smiled without showing your teeth
“She can still marry me” You heard Aurora say from behind her mom’s back
“When’s the wedding?” You replied watching them laugh. Aurora stepped over to hug you as you hugged her back tightly
“My brother is stupid”
“Don’t say that” You defended him “It’s not his fault” You shrugged your shoulders letting go of her
“He seems like a nice guy” She looked over at Samuel who was laughing with Fernando, Pedri’s older brother
“He is” You nodded with a smile
“I hope everything works out for you, Y/I” Aurora said “And hopefully we’ll see you more around in the house. Pablo isn’t the only one who misses you”
“I’ll try, cariño” You said gripping her arm a bit “It was lovely seeing you again, we must hang out later” You say ready to go. Both of them nodded hugging you once more
And with that you walked back towards Sam and Fer, feeling all kind of emotions thanks to their words and making up something in your mind for when you see Pablo.
You couldn’t keep on with your thoughts because the game had started, the tension was feeling in the air, it was the final of La Supercopa, both teams wanted to win it and only one could be the one who raised it and proclaiming the champion title.  And you wanted so badly to be Barcelona that one
Robert had the ball on his feet, he was dribbling among the players and into the penalty section of the Madrid, when he passed the ball to Gavi who hit it and the ball went inside the net. A roar of cheers, applauses and screams were heard across the stadium, the Barcelona fans cheering in happiness as they took the lead on the board.
Gavi grabbed his shirt and kissed it, his signature celebration, his teammates went over to him and cheered with him, Pedri high fived him and hugged him and he must have told him something because after their hug Gavi’s eyes dance across the stadium until they landed on you.
His smile grew bigger and blew you a kiss while pointing at you, he also went ahead and did your initial. You smiled clapping and cheering louder for him.
At minute 45, Robert scored once more with an assist of Gavi and in the second time at minute 69, Pedri scored with the board on 3 for them and 0 for Madrid. The final result was 1-3, meaning Barcelona had won.
The player’s family went down, you shyly made your way towards the pitch as well but feeling extremely proud for your boys.
The first one you saw was Ansu and you threw yourself at him, laughing and cheering on the win for a few seconds before you saw Balde, Araujo and Lewy, you congratulated them as well.
When you saw Pedri, he opened his arms and you ran towards him
“¡YO SABÍA QUE GANARÍAN!” (I knew you guys would win) You yelled in excitement as Pedri hugged you tightly “You did it and I’m so proud of you” You kissed his sweaty cheek several times as he rocked you both side to side “That goal was amazing, Pepi”
“Gracias, bonita. It felt amazing to score” You smiled widely
You hadn’t seen Pablo and you were having an intern battle of seeing him, congratulating him and at the same time not do it.
“You look really happy” Samuel said grabbing your hand in his as your eyes roamed around for Gavi
“I am happy. Not only my club won but also my best friends did. It feels like a dream come true” You said looking at him with a smile on when you turned your head you saw him, he was hugging his sister
“Go and say hello to him” Samuel said kissing your cheek “I’ll be next to you”
Letting go of Samuel’s hand, you walked until being two meters away from him, Belén saw you and pointed at Gavi to turn around, when he did, he was confused until his eyes were on you.
His expression fell a bit before he let a smile out, he turned around to walk but when you started walking too, he started jogging and soon running until, you doing the same and eventually you crashed into each other.
You couldn’t lie. It felt good being back in his arms. His strong arms wrapped tightly around your waist, his face into the crock of your neck, yours around his shoulder and giving light touches in his hair
“I’m sorry” He said whispering in your ear “I’m truly sorry” You shushed him
“It’s okay, it’s okay. Don’t worry about it” You shook your head “I’m here now”
“I missed you so much” He whispered once more pulling you even closer to him, at this point you were a bit arched, with him leaning onto you; with your waist touching his, torso touching his, chest touching his and heads into the others neck.
“Don’t leave me ever again” Pablo said
“I’m not” You said pulling away a little but he didn’t moved an inch “Pabs”
“No” He shook his head “I’m truly sorry, I should-” You cut him off
“Pablo, it’s okay, I’m here now” Your hand went to the sides of his head “Look at me please” You whispered and he after a few seconds obliged, pulling his forehead into yours “I’m not leaving you”
“It felt like hell not seeing you in the stands, it felt horrible not seeing you at our trainings but it felt even worse you not talking to me at all”
“Sorry” That’s all you managed to say, you caressed his dirty stained cheeks leaning up to kiss his cheek and come back pull your forehead into his. You were looking into each other’s eyes, when you felt Pablo slowly lean in
And that’s when you felt a presence and pulled away from him
Pablo looked confused, his arms still around you while yours fell from his body.
“Hey” Samuel said smiling lightly "Tremendo juego hiciste el día de hoy. ¡Felicidades!" (Such a good game you did today. Congratulations!)
“Hola” Pablo said “Amigo, disculpa, en estos momentos estoy con mi familia disfrutando, puedo darte un autógrafo más tarde, y… ¿Podrías traerme una botella de agua?” (Mate, sorry, I’m enjoying with my family right now, I can sign something for you later, also… Would you bring me a bottle of water?)
“Él no trabaja aquí, Gavi” (He doesn’t work here, Pablo) You said untangling yourself from him
“¿Ah no? Disculpa” Pablo said smiling tightly, hand reaching up to grab yours but you crossed your arms in front of your chest “And who are you?” Pablo asked mirroring your actions but giving you a look
“Samuel, this is my best friend, Pablo Páez or better known as Pablo Gavi” You announced unlinking one of your arms to pull Samuel next to you. It was Samuel’s turn “And Pablito… This is Samuel Carnevale… My boyfriend”
At the moment you said that, you could see Pablo’s face scrunching up, he was confused and his jaw clenched, just like how it did when he was angry
“What?” Pablo asked in disbelief after a few seconds
You sighed “This is my boyfriend, Samuel Carnevale” You announced once more
“Boyfriend?” You nod repeated times
Gavi's eyes danced in between Samuel and your face, he looked for any sign of you joking with him. But found none.
This couldn't have happened to him. You had a boyfriend? Why? Why now he realized his feelings for you? Was this a kind of sick prank? If it was he wasn't liking it and wanted it to stop now.
The emotion he felt for winning the Supercopa went away when he saw you holding hands with him.
"Really?" He asked impressed trying to put on a happy face but it looked somehow as if he was in pain
And he was. Sentimentally he was.
He felt like he could cry a river to cover the whole European continent, he felt sick, his stomach felt funny, his head felt spinning and it wasn't definitely for the excitement of winning
He felt lost
"That's-" He cut himself off, he couldn't say it was good because it wasn't good but he also couldn't say it was bad because it would hurt you even more.
You'd think he was selfish. And he truly wanted to be, but not after what happened between the two of you.
Thankfully a voice pulled him out of the situation, the three of you turning your heads to see Pedri coming over
"Buenas noches!" He said grinning from ear to ear "Sorry to interrupt anything"
Please, don't be. Pablo thought
"But we need to go so they can give us the medals and lift the trophy" Gavi nodded relieved
He had never wanted to escape from a moment with you more than he does now
However, he watched you smile and nod at him "Go ahead, Martín" You kick his leg a little "Congratulations on winning, by the way. I'm so proud of you" Pablo smiled nodding at you
You stepped forward and hugged him once more you couldn't help yourself but wanted to embrace him
"I don't plan on ruining tonight for you, but I think you know we need to talk" You whispered against his ear as he nodded tightening his hold on you, now it was his turn, he kissed your cheek repeated times making you giggle
"Stop that" You asked laughing "Go" You untangled yourself from him forcing him to leave his hold on you.
"Meet me in a hour and a half in the tunel, okay?" You nod smiling, one of Pablo's hands went up to the side of your face and pulled a stray of hair away from your face, making you freeze in the beggining but retracted a bit
Pablo's hand fell at his side as he was confused and shocked, he felt a sting hit in his chest and his breathing got a bit uneven, he took deep breaths and let out the air he was holding in. He nodded not knowing what to do, he had never felt this way around you not even when you confessed your feelings for him, so, he just walked side by side with Pedri to grab their medals
"You okay?" Pedri asked next to him as Pablo lightly shook his head
"...No" He looked over to where you were standing, in the middle of the Páez and González family.
He felt the same sting in his chest when you retracted from his touch but the sting made itself pronounced when he saw Samuel pull you into his embrace and you making yourself comfortable in the boys's arms while cheering for them.
Those should've been his arms, not some random man ones, but he had been too stubborn to realize it. And meanwhile you were happy and moving on, it was his time to watch from the sidelines and get hurt
________
You were waiting for him to come out of the dressing room but it seemed like it wasn't happening any time soon. Everyone had left only the staff being present and a few of the players's family.
So you decided to walk around for a bit, you came up the tunnel finding the place where the players go out to the pitch. You walked it finding the empty stadium, it looked pretty when no one was around and you enjoyed it more this way but it looked even better with people in the stands supporting their clubes and wearing a certain color.
"I remember you being noisy" You turn around at hearing his voice "I just didn't knew how much" You smiled lightly watching Pablo walk a few steps more to join you "This is beautiful" You nod agreeing
"Yes, it is" You smiled lightly "Mostly when it's quiet"
Silence took over the two of you for a while, none of you knowing how to start
"You are looking pretty" He said randomly as you smiled lightly
"Thanks, you looking nice too"
"It felt nice seeing you up there once more" you hum pursing your lips a bit
"It felt nice being back there once more" You smiled taking a deep breath
"So... You have a boyfriend?" He asked the first thing that had came into his mind, you nod once more
"I do" You smile at the though of your blondie, he had gone to the hotel with Pedri's family much to his disagreement, he didn't wanted to leave you alone but he understood you had something serious to talk with Pablo
"Since when?"
"Since December"
Pablo nodded, looking down at his feet
"I missed you" He said
"I missed you too"
"Didn't seem like you did"
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"You weren't answering my texts, nor my calls and whenever I tried to go into your apartment, the security guards didn't let me in!"
"Well I told you I needed time and you accepted it"
"You ghosted me!"
"And I'm terribly sorry! I was heartbroken and I didn't precisely wanted to the see the guy who provoked it uncounsiously!"
"Were you really? Because all I could see was you from a party to another and to another! It definitely didn't look like you were heartbroken!"
"But I was and still am, Pablo!" When he heard you exclaim his first name once more, he knew he had fucked it up again. You already had called him with a nickname or one of his others names
"What did you want me to do?" You ask in between laughter "Stay at home crying? Feeling miserable because I made the biggest mistake ever? And of all of the persons in Barcelona I went ahead and fell in love with you? But still I went and did nothing to change it? And when I try you absolutely do nothing but say 'you were just from a party to another, you didn't missed me' Of fucking course I missed you!" You were laughing but in reality you were close to the verge of crying
"Hell you've been a constant person in my life for twelve years, Pablo!" You looked at him "No one has ever me stuck with me that much, besides my family of course, but you! To have you next to me 25/8 like we used to be and then out of nowhere not having you at all, also affected me! A lot! I know I provoked that and I'm sorry! I don't control the way I feel it just happened!"
"And I just wanted to let it out! Of course I was secretly hoping you'd say I'm in love with you too, but it wasn't the case and I've been dealing with it and finally made peace with that and I'm here tonight to tell you that I want my best friend back! That I'm moving on from it and that we may not end up together but I don't care about that anymore I just want you to know that I'm not giving up on our friendship, Gavi. Never. I'm back if you want me to be"
Pablo grabbed one of your arms and pulled you into him, you hugged his torso inmediately as he hugged you tighter
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry" Pablo repeatedly leaving kisses in every place reachable for him, your neck, your cheek, eyelid, eyebrows, your ear, your temple, hairline, forehead, all of that without letting you go "I just missed you so much, I was having it bad and seeing you living your life as if you've never missed me broke me completely" He whispered sniffing "Of course I want you back, I love you so much, mi niña" He kissed you repeatedly as you hide your face in the crock of his neck
You didn't know but he just proclaimed his love for you, more than a friendly way, but decided against saying it out loud.
As much as it hurt him, he was the cause of the pain you've gone through these past months and now you were back into his arms and life, he wasn't going to fuck it up.
Two Weeks Later
"C'mon!" Pablo whined in the couch "I SWEAR TO GOD I WON PEDRI IN FIFA LAST TIME!"
"Maybe I was having compassion with you, Pablito" All of the presents in the room laughed as Pablo threw the control in anger to the couch
He went to the kitchen in hopes of finding a snack that could help his sour mood right now when he heard your laugh.
You were at Pedri's for a get-together. Now that you and Pablo mended things up you were spending more and more time together, the guys loving it since they had no more grumpy Pablo and a heartbroken you. And they were happy since they added one more person to your guys group. Samuel.
The guys loved him, of course the poor lad had to pass a test made by Pedri and the guys that joined him, but once that finished the guys cheered for you both and approved Samuel.
So, that meant he was also there with you in your get-togethers
It wasn't easy for Pablo now that he had discovered his true feelings for you, he always made sure to try and not look at the two of you when you were being affectionate. But it was hard, the damn fucker made you happy, your smile when you were around Samuel was three times bigger than usual and even tho Pablo loved to see that kind of smile on your pretty face, he wanted to be the one and produce it.
He couldn't help but walk over where the two of you were sitting a bit parted from the group since you had a bit of headache but didn't wanted to ruin the guys fun
You were reclined on the couch as Samuel was lying in between your legs with his face pressed into your chest, your hands were around his neck as his were around your torso, he was apparently telling you something funny to make you laugh like that.
The mood Pablo had from his mates teasing got worse when he saw you kissing Samuel. He knew he wasn't in place to reclaim something but he wanted to go there and push the guy out of your body.
Samuel's phone dinged as he sighed, if Pablo listened right he said something among the lines of "I have to go home, my little brother fell and sprained his ankle"
Pablo thanked his little brother but forgot you had to answer
"Oh god is Marcelo okay? Fucking hell, that doesn't look good. Let's go" At hearing that Pablo sighed. You were too caring, too lovely... Too perfect for this world to be true.
"Don't worry, princesa" He saw how Samuel wanted to get up but you tightened your holds on your hands and crossed your legs behind his back "Y/N" Samuel laughed
"What?" You asked smiling innocently
"This is a get-together with your friends, I don't want you to miss the fun to be in an hospital for god-knows-how-long with my screaming and annoying little brother-OW!"
"Marcelo is lovely, too bad he's only seven years old, I would've gone for him"
"You're so on" And then he heard your hysterical laughter once more and pleads for him to stop tickling you.
Pablo turned around and saw his sister standing there with crossed arms "Maldición, joder, Aurora" Pablo cursed out "You almost made me shit my pants"
"What are you doing watching Y/N and her boyfriend?"
"I wasn't watching them"
"I've been standing here like five minutes ago"
Pablo sighed "Okay... Maybe I was watching them"
"Why?" Pablo looked at his sister without saying anything as she soon gasped "No way!" She exclaimed a little too loudly
"Shhhh! Nobody knows it!" Gavi silenced her
"You're in love with Y/N?"
"Shhh!" Gavi shushed her pulling his hand up to his sister's mouth "No one knows it, so could you please be quiet about it?" Aurora nodded
"We neeed to talk" Pablo groaned grabbing his sister hand and bringing her over to Pedri's room "What the fuck is wrong with you?" She said inmediately after Pablo closed the door "She told you her feelings for you and you pushed her away!"
"Back then I didn't realized it! I started knowing right during World Cup, she didn't talked to me back then! It would have been a waste telling her and over text!"
"She called you!"
"I was confused!" Pablo exclaimed "If I had realized even before World Cup I wouldn't even have left Spain, fighting for her, but I realized in the middle of it, then when we were eliminated she sent me three texts and ghosted me once more! I fucked it up not reciprocating her feelings and to try and tell her over text: Hey, I realized I'm in love with you. Sorry for the pain I caused you back then. That would've been the worst thing ever! I've seen enough movies, TV shows and I have been with you and her for so long to know exactly what to do and what not to do!"
"When I saw her at the Supercopa I proposed myself to tell her, I wanted to kiss her when I saw her, when I held her I wanted to tell her everything and let her do whatever she wanted to and with me but then she appeared with that guy and with a light smile on, she told me 'He's my boyfriend' I wanted to die at that moment" Pablo shook his head running his fingers through his hair "I have put her through enough pain to just let that wound come back again! She seems happy with him and meanwhile he makes her happy, make her feel loved then I should be as well"
"You're going to love her from far away?" Pablo nodded with his hands on his face, he wanted to cry
"I think I lost my chance, rora"
"You haven't" Aurora said "She still loves you"
"But she's with him" Gavi looked at his sister, tears scaped from his eyes "I won't ruin that for her, I won't be the reason she's sad again" He shook his head "I will be there for her for everything and anything she needs me for, but I'm not ruining her relationship. I'll just wait for her, I'll wait"
Aurora was surprised by the determination on her younger brother, not suttering at all with his words, still, she felt proud, he knew he fucked up but also, he knew how to mend it and wait.
"Have patience, Pabs" She told him hugging her brother tightly "A lot of patience, you'll need it" Pablo nodded reciprocating the hug
"I will" He laughed
He was known for not having an ounce of patience, but he would gain the world's whole patience only for you. And he will do.
After having a moment, Gavi washed his face with water and headed down, to find no Samuel but you still laid on the sofa, he contemplated the fact of going towards the guys who probably will keep making fun of his bad FIFA skills or be with you.
Guess what he decided?
"Buenas" He said with a light smile catching your attention
"Hey, señorito" You smiled putting down your phone "Everything good?" Gavi nodded "What's up?"
"The guys keep making fun of me for being bad at FIFA" You scrunched your face a little
"I don't buy the 'I beat Pedri' thing either"
"BUT I DID!" He exclaimed making you laugh
"C'mere, Gavs" You fixed your position and patted the space on the couch, he just couldn't resist you so he ended up sitting next to you "The only one who can bully you it's me, so let's just sit here for a while and watch funny Tik Tok videos and cute puppy reels" He smiled sitting next to you
"Only because you said cute puppy reels" You smirked leaning over a bit for the two of you to see properly your phone screen
After an hour and half of watching funny videos on your phone, laughing, making comments and sometimes getting sad when something emotional happened, somehow you guys ended up cuddled up into each other.
You leaned into Gavi's chest, sat in between his legs as his back rested in the arm rest, his legs streched out as yours were pulled up at your chest, his arms wrapped around your frame.
Gavi stopped for a second, hearing you laugh, he smiled looking down at you, he indeed was stupid enough for not realizing his feelings soooner.
If he had done that, you could probably be like this but with another status, he sighed lightly accepting for now the fact you were with someone else but as you leaned more into him uncounsciously, giving him a smell of the delicious TRESemmé oil elixir you put to protect your hair and that he often found himself stealing a bit from, he realized he would fight for you, always. To have you by his side and make you happy.
Gavi kissed your hair and temple a couple of times before tightening his hold on you
"Something's wrong?" You ask lightly as he shakes his head
"...Don't think so"
One thing people also known Gavi for was that he was determinated, he never stopped until he had what he wanted.
And he wanted you.

Any other Elvis and wife/girlfriend sagas in the works in the same vein as Elaine and Gigi?
Mm why yes, yes there are. Who knows if I’ll get to them but I’d love to share. I’m still chipping away at the Regency Au, I bet I’ll keep spitting things out for it at random. But then there’s working title: Honeysuckle. Which sort of came out of people requesting more in the tome of Honeymoon. I’ve nothing written for it yet except a plot pitch I shared with a couple dear friends, I’m going to include it below for anyone interested. Maybe y’all will have additional suggestions, I’d welcome them. Xoxo

Honeysuckle Plot 🎀
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I once had a whole Governor’s Daughter plot but then the more I read about her (the real gal Ann) the more I thought it was sweet they just had a kissy friendship, both being well aware they were headed in opposite trajectories. They parted ways and remained in contact, we need more of those represented so I’m not going to meddle and make it steamy...
BUT THEN
I had a notion and I do need more scheming on it but -what about her little sister, ok?
See, the Governor's daughter -the little sister-, she’s adorable and very young and a buttercup when Elvis comes home in 1960. She has posters of him in her mansion room, squeezes his hand too tight when he goes through the endless greeting of shaking hands and is a giggly mess when she spies on him kissing Ann while Ann shows him the mansion. Altogether her girlish crush is cute as can be, because he’s sweet as pie to her and he looks like Prince Charming and he becomes friends with the family and laaa deee daaa…
Life goes on. A few years later he even comes to her sweet sixteenth when she writes him a detailed letter making a case and citing how he said (teased more like) that he would marry her just for her custard, the least he could do is come to her birthday party. And so he comes and again, it’s cute.
Now it’s not entirely unusual for him to stay with the Governor and his family when he’s recording in Nashville and one year Ann gets engaged and he comes to that party and perhaps there’s a bit of moment, and eying up of his little friend as she stands with her fruit punch and passes her bridal sister gifts- “lordy, buttercup, you’re fillin’ out nicely” he complaints in a bit of daze.
“Elvis, you know I’ve turned sixteen!” she’s a bit outraged he didn’t notice how grown she’s become, he watched her blow out that candles!
And yet, it remains all cute.
BUT THEN
one night he stays with them when she’s seventeen and she thinks nothing of it, letting him into her room along with a couple other of the old hooligan set, gardeners kids and the maid’s daughter and a few other younguns, because they’re gonna do what they’ve been doing since the first night he stayed with them once all the adults go to bed.
PILLOW FIGHTS!
except this one, oh it’s fun as can be but when 3:00 am strikes they all reckon they should probably go to sleep, so the kids sneak out her window and Elvis sneaks out her door to go to his room down the hall.
but alas!
somebody sees him, and my, my, ain’t that front page news the day after?!
And her daddy calls Elvis into his office furious, i mean, ‘what’s he thinking sneaking into his young daughters room in the middle of the night?’
I’m imagining Elvis trying to explain to her father and Governer’s all “yeah, sure, of course it was a pillow fight uhuh.” 🙄 “Mr Presley, you’ve already taken my hospitality for granted, don’t take me for a fool, too”
Governor had figured between that and the way Elvis had maintained good friendship and been a gentleman with the older sister. that the reports on him where exaggerated -but this!
I’m sorta imagining him calling Buttercup into his office too, partway through this, the Sweet Little Thing swears up and down it was just a pillow fight and even hikes up her skirt to show a bruise, assures her daddy it’s not so bad, she walloped Elvis real hard on his belly right back, “-won’t you show him, E?”
Which is… painfully innocent and also exposes Elvis as being a bit of uh…well…she’s comfy enough to hike her skirt up and demand to see his belly. What a mess.
But like, she’s from the debutante world, she’s seventeen, it’s prime time to be out and meeting boys and snagging s marriage and Elvis has gone and ruined it.
I think chiefly what I love about this possible Au is that it gives Elvis a chance to be impulsively chivalrous as he often was, — he offers to marry her.
And then it allows him to be regretful and lazy, which he also was, and postpone the thing indefinitely. Boarding school and model school and all sorts of engagements he visits her at, keeping up appearance and allowing himself the occasional slip of composure, she’s lovely after all. And likes him so very much. He just knows marrying would be the worst thing imaginable. It would, he’s not suited.
But it’s idiotic leaving a beautiful gem like that in the wild, she should be secure round his finger and chained to his side but he doesn’t see it, not when he’s so busy with his movies and such. Not until she’s in the papers again with a flock of fellas around her, not acting particularly engaged. It makes Elvis’ engaged blood boil. He visits her after that, be sure of it. He even hauls her to Paris and angrily demands a dress be chosen and tailored by the end of the week. By the wedding.
Well, anyway it’s all sorta leading up to what was in Honeymoon. Maybe not exactly the same universe but the whole concept and dynamic. Maybe he gets into diplomacy thanks to her father? I never have endings for my stories, only ever beginnings. Anyways. Innocence kink abounds here, lol. Except for the pillow fights, those are legit just fun.

“I still can’t believe the Ducks won against the Kings with that overtime shot!” your friend exclaimed while preparing a customer’s iced vanilla latte.
You had been listening to them rave about the hockey game from last night for the past 10 minutes. You watched part of the game with them on the couch, but eventually headed off to bed when things got boring during the 2nd period.
You nodded your head while leaning against the counter. “I know,” you said sarcastically. “You haven’t shut up about it all day.”
They let out a small chuckle, “Sorry. I’m just really hyped about it.” They placed the drink on the counter and yelled out, “Angelina!”
You smiled while heading back to the register. In an hour from now you would be able to clock out of work, and the time couldn’t go any slower. You looked back at your friend and asked, “Could you make me a medium hot chocolate? Add extra marshmallows.”
“Gotcha!” they answered before preparing your drink. The bell above the door rang as the door opened. You looked ahead and saw a 6 foot male walk into the establishment. You glanced down at his Ducks shirt assuming he must’ve been a fan as well.
“Hi, welcome in,” you announced. He stepped up to the front and smiled a bit. He wasn’t bad looking, he had dusty blonde hair, blue eyes, and nice teeth. “What would you like today?”
He looked up at the menu and hummed. “Uh, my friend recommended this place and I’ve never been in a coffee shop before. What would you recommend?” He looked back down at you. You felt the corners of your mouth tug into a smile while staring at him. He had such a pretty contagious smile.
“I mean since it’s October people really like the pumpkin spice latte, but I really like the hot chocolate with extra marshmallows,” you answered.
He nodded, “Then that’s what I’ll get. Large, please?” You rang him up and he paid for his drink.
“Your name?” You grabbed the cup and a sharpie, glancing up at him.
“Trevor,” he answered. You wrote down his name, thinking it sounded a bit familiar, but you brushed it off as just a common name.
No one was behind him in line which meant you could talk to him for a bit. “Heard that the Ducks won last night,” you said as you leaned against the counter.
He smiled softly, “Yeah… I actually scored the winning point.” He said it so casually. You frowned and furrowed your eyebrows. You analyzed his face, now trying to figure out which player he was. Before you could say anything, he interrupted you, “You don’t watch hockey do you?”
You shrugged. “I only watch a little. I did watch a bit of the game last night, but I stopped watching halfway through the 2nd period.”
He nodded his head at your answer. while chuckling. He then quickly steered the conversation in another direction, not wanting to seem self centered. “How long have you lived here in Anaheim…?” His sentence trailed on while he waited for you to say your name.
“Y/N and I haven’t been here long,” you answered. You twirled your hair around your finger while maintaining eye contact with him. “I just transferred to Chapman from SDSU in August.”
“Oh, what year are you?” he asked, leaning forward attentively.
“Junior,” you said with a warm smile. It was common that guys ask you questions about yourself. You were always the one trying to keep conversation with them desperately, but Trevor was different. “Let me get your drink ready.” You stepped away from the register and made your way to the station where you made drinks.
You noticed your friend had made their way to the back for some reason, maybe it was to get more banana nut bread. You prepared his hot chocolate while he patiently waited on his phone. He was so pretty, you couldn’t believe you were serving him. You admired the tattoos on his right arm, his muscular arm. You were drooling over him.
The hot chocolate was ready to go so you added extra chocolate drizzle. Once you added the marshmallows and whipped cream, you made your way over to the counter to drop off his drink. “Trevor!” you called out to him.
His head perked up as his face lit up. He grabbed the cup and took a sip, a look of satisfaction dawned on his face. “That’s amazing,” he said as his lips curved into a smile.
“We know how to make a mean hot chocolate,” you giggled as you folded your arms over your chest. He took another sip before placing the cup down and wiped the liquid off his mouth with the back of his hand.
He cleared his throat before speaking again. “To add onto what you were saying earlier,” he started. “Since you’re kind of new to the city and all, I thought that I could maybe show you around sometime, you’re 21 right?”
“Yeah,” you answered.
He pumped his fist causing you to giggle. “I could take you bar hopping one time after your shift if you’re cool with that.”
Your cheeks dusted a rosy tint when he asked this. He was asking you out? You giggled, “Maybe. Are you gonna come in one day and wait til I get off?” You were obviously joking, even though it seemed like kind of a cute yet creepy idea.
“Oh!” he chuckled. “Uh, do you have a pen I can borrow?”
Not thinking anything of it, you went over to the register and grabbed a sharpie out of the cup. You made your way back over and handed it to him.
He grabbed a napkin from the napkin case and passed it to you. “Write your number down,” he said while smiling. “I’ll text you.”
Your heart flipped at his charming smilg. Oh my God, you were giving him your number. He asked for YOUR number. “Yeah, of course.”
You wrote down your number on the napkin and passed it back to him. He grabbed it and stared at it for a minute. “Alright,” he said while nodding. “I’ll text you later.” He folded up the napkin and put it in his pocket. He grabbed $10 out of his wallet and placed it in the tip jar, “Thank you for your services, Y/N.”
He then left the coffee shop with his hot chocolate. You watched as he did so, shocked and flustered by everything that just happened.
Your friend then came up behind you with your hot chocolate. “Dude, what the hell?” They sounded confused, happy, and shocked. “Did you just talk to Trevor Zegras?!”
You turned back and grabbed your hot chocolate out of their hand. “Yeah, he just asked for my number.” Your cheeks were red and the tip of your ears were flushed.
“What?!” They bursted out. “Trevor Zegras asked for your number?!”
“Yeah,” you giggled. “Because he wants to take me out bar hopping.”
They gasped even louder. “Holy shit! Trevor Zegras wants to go out with you?!” You took a sip of your hot chocolate while smiling. “Please tell me you’ll start watching hockey now!”
You nodded your head. “Yes! Yes I will!” You really wanted to watch Trevor play so you could have something to talk about with him.

Waking On Air || chapter 1
Tumblr media
The first time you noticed him was in the Top Gun meetings hall, after Viper had just introduced himself as your instructor. He was sitting front row along with a tall blond, constantly looking around in some sort of confident way, as if he belonged there more than any of the others did.
Your boyfriend, Tom Kazansky, mostly known as “Iceman”, kept giving him thoroughly dirty looks, making you a bit uneasy at the thought of having him start competing against other aviators once again — you thought he’d been over that phase, but you were apparently far from correct.
You didn’t get to catch his name, even though Tom was already halfway through cocky remarks and jokes about him, scoffing loudly on purpose the moment the young man declared that he did in fact have it in him to become the best of the best. He was confident — a little too confident for your liking — but Viper seemed to only encourage his engrossing ego by being so pleasantly taken aback by his uniquely strong personality.
“Babe,” your boyfriend’s soft nudge on the shoulder shook you out of your thinking trail and you slightly gasped inaudibly in surprise. “Me and the guys are going to the bar later, wanna tag along?”
“Sure,” you replied, giving him a short lasting squeeze on the hand and getting up from your seat. You almost missed the sarcastic and startling laugh, of who you thought was the blond aviator, targeted towards Iceman and his crew.
The second time you noticed him was later the same evening, at the bar. You and Tom were chatting about the new Top Gun entries while waiting for your drinks. Even though it was night, Tom insisted on wearing his sunglasses, which you honestly thought was stupid but also attractive.
“Ice,” you interrupted — his voice had gone all murmur-y after having spent a good amount of five minutes just trashing that cocky raven-haired stranger — “that’s Goose!”
Surprised by the enthusiastic tone in your voice, Iceman raised an eyebrow. “Yeah? How is that ground breaking news?”
“No, babe, you don’t understand — I haven’t seen Goose in years! He and I practically pampered each other up, he’s my childhood best friend and we lost contact after he moved to Miramar. God, I thought it was him earlier in the morning when he laughed at you but I couldn’t see very well. We have to go talk to him!”
And with that, you were already standing up and Tom was struggling to catch up with your quickening pace. By the time you finally reached Goose’s table, you were excitedly squealing his name. At first, Goose was startled, trying to figure out how you knew him, but like a bucket of cold water splashing into his face, he got up from his seat, wrapping his arms around you rather messily and smiling like an idiot.
“Roger!” he giggled while calling your call sign, pulling away from the embrace but still keeping his hands on your shoulder blades. “How have you been? My lord, it’s been years, you’ve changed so much!”
“I can’t stay seven forever, Nick,” you smiled. “I’ve been great, how about you? I’ve missed you so much.”
“I’ve missed you more,” Goose replied warmly, then taking a short break to acknowledge Ice’s presence right next to you. “I see you’ve made quite a few friends here,” he added sarcastically.
Iceman scoffed and you rolled your eyes at him, silently asking him to keep his mouth shut.
“Not exactly. Tom’s my boyfriend.”
“Oh,” he mouthed. Tension was awkwardly starting to build between you. “I wasn’t really expecting that, but oh well. I should introduce you to my boy friend as well — Maverick, that’s my childhood buddy Roger, Roger, Maverick.”
So his name was Maverick.
You extended your hand to the other aviator, which he shook after a moment, lingering his fingers around yours for maybe longer than needed. He had the most mesmerizing eyes, you unwillingly noticed, subconsciously fighting every muscle in your system from getting lost in them. Maverick shot you a stunning smile as he finally retreated his hand from yours and placing it around a half empty beer bottle.
“Alright, it was glad to catch up,” Tom suddenly spoke, slamming you back into reality as he hurriedly pulled you away from the bar and back to your table. You shook your arm away from his hand and gave him an annoyed look.
“What the fuck was that for?”
Iceman sighed. “I’m sorry but I just cannot simply stand like an idiot while Mitchell’s ogling you.”
Your eyebrows curved in offense and surprise.
“No one was ogling me, Tom. I thought we’ve been over the aggressive jealousy phase anyway.”
Tom attempted to scoot closer to you, placing his warm palm over your hand and rubbing small circles on your wrist with his thumb apologetically.
“You’re right, I’m sorry,” he said lowly. You gave him a weak smile and pressed a kiss on his cheek before excusing yourself to go to the bathroom.
Just before you could push the door to get in, you felt a hand softly grab on your elbow, pulling you towards them, which took you by surprise, causing you to trip on the heel of your left feet and sending you hitting straight into a hard chest. Instinctively, you tried to avoid crashing your nose by pressing your palms against their chest. You heard a light chuckle emit from the stranger and your eyes travelled upwards only to meet with familiar blue-green ones.
“It’s you again,” you spoke — a bit too breathlessly for your liking — noticing how his lips curved into a cocky smirk.
“It’s Maverick.”
“I know. What kind of name even is that, did your parents hate you or something?”
“It’s just my call sign.”
You decided to ignore him and get out of the conversation by walking inside the restroom, but the stubborn aviator followed you inside.
“My name’s Pete Mitchell,” he added. Cute, you thought — he was trying to keep the talk going.
“Didn’t really ask there, Pete Mitchell.”
“Aren’t you going to tell me your name? Or is your actual name Roger?”
You huffed in annoyance and turned to glare at him. The smirk was still plastered across his lips and it was driving you freaking insane. “I have a boyfriend,” you opted to reply.
“Well it’s very nice to meet you, I have a boyfriend. My name is Pete Mitchell, but most people prefer to go with Maverick.”
You rolled your eyes. There was something ridiculously stupid about his personality, but you found yourself liking it — sort of. He was challenging you and you were always in for a challenge.
“I’m rolling dead on the floor,” you sarcastically replied, keeping a frighteningly straight face. “You think you’re just so funny and charming, Pete Mitchell.”
“I’m pretty confident about my character, yeah.”
“Congratulations. Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to go pee, so I’d appreciate it if you could get your cheeky little ass out of here.”
“I’ll meet you outside then,” he replied with a wink and you let out a very loud sigh as his presence was out of the restroom, slapping your hands against your forehead and rubbing your eyes.
God, he’s going to cause trouble, isn’t he?
You were grateful for the fact that he — in fact — did not meet you outside and you had the chance to go straight back to your table without any more inconvenience. Tom was drinking his beer, giving you a sweet smile as you approached him. You decided not to tell him anything about your previous encounter with Maverick, trying to forget about it yourself, but failing miserably, since his stupid smirk and his stupid green or blue or whatever eyes were tattooed in your brain.
Taking a big gulp out of your own beer, you pinched the bridge of your nose and glanced around the bar (hoping to catch Maverick somewhere but you’d never confess that).
Stupid fucking Maverick.
“Looking for someone?”
You looked at Tom, cold sweat forming on the back of your neck. He must’ve noticed you.
“Nope, just feeling tired. Do you mind if we call it a night?” you asked and he ran his hand along the length of your back, nudging the side of your neck with his head and placing a kiss on your forehead before nodding. You wanted to find an excuse to see him again — say goodbye to Goose, yeah that was a good idea, but you were worried it might’ve been a bit too transparent. After all, you would see Goose tomorrow, you knew that would be Tom’s exact answer. You kept your mouth shut as you walked outside, body feeling hot even though the weather outside was chilly.
Tomorrow would be a hard day.

I’m in need of some advice and kind words. As a fellow writer I’m really struggling to believe people will and want to read my stuff. There’s no real engagement anymore and I’m worried that if I post my long-form fic that no one will give it a chance. It’s really bringing me down because I love it so much but it feels like no matter what I try to do my stuff just doesn’t get seen or liked? I’ve even thought about changing my entire way of how I do things since I don’t think the way I write is working for the masses. How do you keep up the motivation as a popular writer and do you have an advice?
Hello anon!! I feel like this is something many of us currently deal with. And first of all I seriously hope that you do share your story!! ♡
To be completely honest with you the lack of engagement in the fandom has for sure impacted my own motivation which is why I haven't been putting as much time into longer fics (nor the Friday Nights series or IKNBS, I do write but I refuse to force myself). I don't feel any urgency because uploading fics hasn't made me as happy as it used to. It feels like only other active writers are reading fic atm and it creates a lot of pressure on creatives to stay super active.
I'm aware that I'm insanely privileged to have the engagement that I do have, that the type of stories I want to write are also the type of stories that generally seem to appeal. However, engagement tells you NOTHING about the quality of your work, only how many people are active in a fandom or like a specific pairing/character/trope. Your own unique voice matters more than numbers.
I also notice that a lot of people who used to read my works have disappeared which I completely understand. The fixation can ebb away during times of inactivity or when a certain hype dies down. People just don't get that dopamine hit anymore and move on. It's also entirely possible they get tired of a certain style of writing and prefer other writers at times, what do I know. I definitely don't blame anyone for that. First and foremost people should read for their own enjoyment and engage with fandom in a way that makes them happy. It makes no sense to pressure people into engaging. A huge issue right now is people overthinking these things which makes support transactional instead of genuine.
I don't care much about notes but I REALLY miss the feeling of sharing a fic with people who are excited for it, that sense of an active community. BUT the activity will come back – the movie will come out, new music and videos, heck even a whole new Papa!!! That's the natural flow of things. We can't be excited and super active all the time, we need phases of calmness as well (which is an act of rebellion in the capitalist hellscape of overproduction and churned out content. I am honestly glad Ghost is taking it easy).
Now, I recommend you write your story exactly how you want to!!! do NOT change it for the sake of popularity because it will lose its very soul and you will struggle to be happy with it by the end. You know how you want to tell your story and nothing else matters. It will find its readers or you can wait and share it at a later point. I recommend that you approach other writers and readers and intensify that contact, make friends and talk to them about your stories, hype each other up, share snippets. It's even more meaningful to know people you like enjoy what you do. I am currently working on super niche fics for non-Ghost characters and I'm honestly having a great time chasing that dopamine by just writing what I'm really into and sharing it with friends. Fandom is community, fandom is fun and we can work to make it better for everyone.
A few general tips when it comes to making stories accessible: Format them to be readable (paragraphs!!), add a "read more" break, add proper content information and a nice summary to draw people in, add some visual appeal like a banners or stock image edits (like i do for IKNBS) and then tag the fics with relevant tags (and only those). Also make sure to tag the OG post, tags on reblogs do nothing for reach. Engage with the community when you feel like it and it's likely that the community will engage back. Being supportive is worth it, being kind is always worth it even if it amounts to nothing.

hello, lovely lady!
i truly hope you’re doing well, and im sure you know this, but your work is much appreciated, but please please take care of yourself!
with that being said, even though i’ve seen previous head-cannons, do you think it would be possible if we sort of got an updated head-cannon of how Cecila and Castin will parent their children when they’ve reacher their teen years? just curious. 🙃
please don’t feel obligated to indulge me or do such, and as always have a fantastic day/evening.
💖🤍
It's the awesome addie! Hello, hello!
I'm okay—well, as alright as I can be. I'm very happy that you enjoyed my writing, and that's enough to make me feel so much better!
Ah... teenagehood. I was a pretty chill teenager—moody but pretty tamed. I was more into writing than doing sports, lol. But let's check out what Celica and Castin are like as parents raising their teenage twins!
Headcanons where Dain & Deirdre are teenagers & how Castin and Celica raise them:
This may come across as surprising, but it's Castin's that's gonna be a low-key helicopter parents 😂
Castin is very invested in Dain & Deirdre's life. What's the tea at school? Any dramas between friends? Any crushes? 👀 Any new hobbies?
While Celica is also interested in their children's daily lives, she only asks how they fare in their studies and if they've been keeping up with their etiquette training, which their governess would report to her directly. Unfortunately, after giving birth, the Baroness is busier than ever.
This isn't to say that Castin is also not busy with his patrols and hunting down any signs of rebels, but unlike Celica, who's actually at home, he would keep in touch with the twins via letters and calls even when he's on the other end of Intacia.
Castin habitually announces ridiculous rules for the twins during dinners every other week! EX: "Neither of y'all are allowed to talk more than 100 words to your crushes." And the next week would be "Don't spar with the opposite gender! Oh, wait - " Yeah, the twins learned to just ignore the rules, lol.
As for Celica, though? She has only one rule for the twins: "Do not tarnish the Anesidora name." Now, this might seem cold, and while the twins absolutely hate it, believing that their own mother is more concerned about their family's reputation than her own damn kids that she nearly died giving birth for, Celica's rule is actually a test to see if the twins are good at deception and finding loopholes on doing any anything that she doesn't like behind her back. Because if they can pull it off? That means they're on the way to inherit her position, and that's what Celica has been waiting for.
Now! Teenage rebellions!
"Don't worry, baby. Big Daddy Caddy is on it! He knows a thing or two about stopping rebellions!"
"Please do not tackle our children to the ground as if they are criminal."
"Pfft - I won't, I won't!"
Each of the twins acts out in different manner but most often, their attitudes are directed at their mother. Dain's acts of rebellion are more... subtle. Avoiding eye contact when Celica is talking to him, refusing to smile in her presence, purposely scrapping his cutleries onto the plates when eating, creating an ear-piercing sound and etc. Deirdre is a lot more of an outburst. She would skip lessons, walk away in a middle of the conversation, and getting in a shouting match with Celica because all she cares about is asking about their progress, not how they really are.
Of course this isn't true as Celica is only thinking about their future and of course, every time her children lash out at her, she feels hurt but then she would react in ways that was ingrained to her since childhood - stoic face, silent and retreat to her office for several days.
Those are the moments where Castin had to mediate between them and always remind their twins to be patient with their Mum and try to think about things in her perspective. The only reason they could act freely as teenagers and not would-be politician or hell, even consuming poison are because the Baroness constantly serve as a 'shield' for the twins in high society.
Every mistakes they made in public, every blunder they offend a household would immediately smooth out by the Baroness.
That's her form of love. Castin knows this after being married to her for so many years but the twins don't understand that.
She's hard on them because the world was cruel to her growing up. She's awkward in showing affections because her Ezekiel, Eaton and Tristan keeps her at arms-length due to their status.
She's a damn good Baroness and she hopes that in time, she'll be a worthy mother to Dain and Deirdre.

“Free me from this pain, I’ve been running from…”
“I'm tired and I'm free falling. Free me! I'm lost and I am calling you…” (“Free me” by Sia)
I’ve experienced some very rough hardships in my almost 40 years lasting existence in this world…but I’ve never given up on myself. I knew, that I’d have to fight my way back out of these horrible miseries, and I kept my faith to find the path to better times…to find the path, which will lead me upwards again.
I admit, these hardships left their marks, their scars on me. They formed my heart and my mindset…they made me the person, that I am today. I learned my lessons…and I kept going.
Since I’m living struggling with this goddamn bitch of a disease, called ME/CFS, my life has only one direction: It’s going downhill…and it’s getting faster! In these past 1,5 years, I’ve lost more and more of all the things, which made my life worth living for. I lost my ability to do my job as a pedagogue and social worker. I lost my freedom, since I’m stuck in my dark room day and night. I lost a lot of social contacts, since screen time is messing with my brain and each phone call costs me too much energy. I lost my capability to be an active mother for my three children…and this is the part, that hurts the most. Damn, I lost so much more…and I feel my heart shattering in pieces every fucking day!
Everything in my life is slowly falling apart and I’m losing my grip on reality…and on myself! The newest pain in the ass is probably my habit of passing out every few days. My whole system shuts down in the middle of a simple talk or something else and I’m falling into unconsciousness! I can’t remember the things, I’ve done before…I’m just blacked out for several hours. At first, my kids were afraid in these moments…especially when they couldn’t wake me up from this state! But now, they simply accept that “quirk” of mine as their new reality…and my motherly heart is aching for them. This shouldn’t be their reality! They shouldn’t have to live with a mother, who’s always in the dark…who’s always lying in bed! They’re children!! They shouldn’t have to whisper in my presence. I should be the person, they can rely on unconditionally!! Fuck…my heart is bleeding…and I’m sorry for my pathetic venting.
I need a way out of this hell…but since there isn’t any possibility for me right now, I’ll keep on clinging on Severus. My fantasies of him and my way of coping with my misery by writing stories about him and my - oh so self-inserted - OC Julia/Jules are the only thing, that keeps me mentally stable functioning. Well…at least that’s what I’m telling myself. I mean, I know how depressed my posts might seem.
My favourite artist for my darkest ideas is my friend @madfantasy. I told Mani about my wish to be freed from my darkness…to be cured from my disease. I need a saviour…a true hero…I need Severus! Since there aren’t any promising medical treatments, I’ll need a magical miracle to get rescued. And this is exactly, what Severus is trying for me. He conjures the demons inside my soul and forces them to leave my body. Severus is the only person, who’s brave enough to face the darkness within me. He’s my knight…and the love of my life. 21 years of my life, it was Severus, who kept me going…who inspired me with his resilience and his courage! A lot of those previous hardships could be endured by me, because I had something, I believed in. I had something, that gave me confidence and strength. I had Severus. So, please…don’t let me lose my hope and my faith in his support. And don’t let me lose my faith in myself.
Mani, my precious friend, I’m stunned by your ability to understand my ideas. Every time, I’m commissioning you for another project, your art helps me to soothe my troubled heart. It is as if you’re drawing my feelings!! I can sense my own emotions in every single line of your drawing. You don’t know, how grateful I am that I was allowed to meet you here. I love our conversations and our understanding for each other. Feel hugged, Mani! I’m sending you so much love! 🫂🫂 (fly fly) 🥹🖤 Thank you for everything.

“Aren’t you glad you came to the party? You’re having fun aren’t you.” Your friend, Sammie
gloats as she hands you a glass of wine spritz. You roll your eyes trying to refuse a smile from spreading across your face. You gently shrug your shoulders before bringing your glass close to your mouth.
“It’s aight, don’t get too big headed. I could leave any time to go enjoy Bob’s Burgers.” You say before taking a sip of your drink, the cool liquid soothing your throat. She rolls her eyes before linking her arm with yours and pulling you the rest of the people away from the kitchen.
It was more of a kickback than an outright party with some old college buddies. It’s been over a year since graduating from film school and you have been working in the industry since, doing what you love and you met most of the people here through college except for your best friend - who was currently dragging you to meet some new people.
Entering the room, there’s a few people already inside with an anime you’re unfamiliar with playing on the tv as they huddled close as they played UNO.
“Hey guys!” Sammie breaks their concentration and brings it to you guys as you stand underneath the door frame. There’s one person who immediately draws your attention though. Their honey brown curls unruly but they fall perfectly around her face and rest on her shoulders. Her eyes trail down your body as she leans back into the couch. They come back to your face and a smile is hidden behind her cup as you bashfully break eye contact and squirm beside Sammie.
“This is my best friend Monique! She finally left her house and grace us with her presence.”
“I’m not that bad.” You nudge her shoulder. “I’ve been busy.” You defend yourself with a smile and a roll of your eyes - a habit you happen to always do around her. You love Sammie and it’s not like you were avoiding her on purpose but her parties (parties in general) always overwhelm you so typically just stay away from them.
“Whatever!” She replies before she smiles, taking your hand and sitting you close to the woman you had been eyeing up. The warmth of your blush still tainting your cheeks. You’re a little tense but you take in her soft yet musky scent as you try to lean back into the couch.
“Please keep my friend entertained and comfortable. I’ll be back for her later.” Sammie winked at you before leaving you with the small group. You’re not a shy person so the introductions are swift and quick but the lady sitting beside you is causing your nervousness to spike which isn’t normal.
What’s worse, you think she can notice the affect she’s having on you.
“I’m Rue.” Her voice is soft and melodious. It’s kind of low in pitch but it suits her perfectly. You scold yourself for thinking too much about how her voice sounds but you can’t help it but the instant attraction is wrecking you.
“Nice to meet you.” You shake her hand that was in front of her. Like her voice, her skin is so soft, her fingers are long and slender but her nails are neatly trimmed, painted black. Absentmindedly you lick your lips thinking about her fingers and god you’re such a creep, you’ve just met her and your mind is already going there.
Fortunately the rest of the night, things go really well. The conversation flows so naturally between the two of you that you couldn’t believe you’ve only met today. She’s a friend of Maddy’s who works with Sammie and have been since childhood really and in not so many words, she had let you know that she wasn’t much of a drinker anymore due to previous substance issues from her past. She had been sipping on cranberry and blackberry juice all night as to not draw attention to herself. People were nosy and if they saw her drinking from a red solo cup, she knew no one was going to ask questions.
At some point of the night, you decide to give Rue a tour of your friend’s house finally reaching the guest room that’s your designated room wherever you slept over.
“So what made you choose film?” Rue asks you as you guys had settled on the floor, rolling a ball to each other as the muffled music from the party filtered into your room.
“I love the arts you know? I live for them. They’ve changed and influenced my life and I just felt like I want to be a part of that you know? Like being a part of something that influence change and be positive in someone’s life is a great deal.” As you speak so passionately you could feel her eyes on you which doesn’t stop the feelings she’s enticing within you. It was so strange to get such a visceral reaction to Rue and for the most part, the last few hours have been heavenly.
“Why are you staring at me.” You whisper. You chew on your bottom lip as you let your body fall to one side.
“I like watching you talk.” Rue answers candidly. “You become really animated and there’s this glow to you that makes you more attractive than I already think you are.”
You hold onto your cheeks as your shoulders pull up bashfully.
“Don’t get shy on me.” Rue licks her lips as she pulls your hands away from your face. You still turn your head away from her but with her fingers, she directs your gaze back onto hers. Rue’s eyes are sparkling in the dark as you bear into each other’s souls. The connection that you’re feeling towards her could not be denied.
“Do you feel that?” She asks as she intertwines your fingers with hers, pulling you closer to her body. You shift your bodies so that your legs are overlapping each other and the warmth of your core is radiating onto her thigh.
“Yeah.” You whisper. “I thought I was going a little crazy but I feel so … good around you, it’s insane.” Rue chuckles at your response as she cups your chubby cheeks and rubs your skin with the pad of her thumbs.
“Can I kiss you Monique? I really, really want to kiss you.”
“Yes. Please.” You breathe out before you can utter something else, her lips are on yours. Your stomach erupts in a fever of flatters, nervousness swimming in your veins as your eyes close as your softly kiss her back. However, as the kiss deepens, the lesser you were nervous and enjoyed the kiss. Slow and passionate, in no rush whatsoever and it makes you feel desired. Your hands trail down from the back of her neck to her waist and you pull on her tighter, wanting to feel more of her.
Her tongue swirls around yours which sends a shiver down your spine and your cunt clenches around nothing as your arousal sparks your body into a frenzy of need, a need Rue easily picks up on.
“Lay down.” She whispers to you and you follow the instruction without hesitation. Rue brings your legs to your waist, caressing your thighs as she hovers above you.
“Can I go on?” She asks and you inaudibly nod your head. You’re quiet as she strips your trousers and panties away from your body. “Fuck. I knew your pussy would be so beautiful.” She rasps as her hands travel back up your thighs and her thumbs part your heated core. A shiver runs down your spine as your cunt aches, you wanted more, you anticipate the next move. Rue slides the straps of your cami top down until your breasts are exposed.
Her long fingers tease and pinch your nipples which causes you to squirm. Begging for attention, Rue leans forward and wraps her lips around your areola and shoves two fingers into your cunt. Your gasp at the intrusion is loud but you welcome her finger nonetheless.
“You’re so tight.” Rue mumbles against your chest as you whimper and roll your hips. Her fingers move a bit faster, the sound of your wetness beginning to echo within the confines of your room. Your self control was slowly beginning to slip as Rue fucks you nice and hard with her fingers to the point of orgasm.
“What!-.” You exclaim as Rue suddenly withdraw her fingers from your pussy.
“I need to taste you.” She whispers before she brings her drenched fingers to her mouth. Rue sucks on her digits feverishly which turns you even more. She drops her fingers away from her mouth before she quickly shifts so that her face is hovering closer to your pussy. You try and look down at Rue but with her fingers tracing the opening of your pussy, your head falls back and your eyes close shut.
“Rue, I need you. Please.” You beg.
“Don’t worry baby, I got you.” With that, she wraps her lips around your clit which causes a loud moan to ring out from you. Her tongue is warm as she laps at your cunt.
It had been a while for you but the way Rue was making you feel, wreaked your brain but you didn’t focus on it too much as you ride her face with abandon. She’s eating you so good and you were losing your breath trying to keep up with her pace. Rue rolls her tongue around your clit over and over again before pushing her fingers back into your pussy and stroking your g-spot with hoe she curled her digits.
“Oh shit! I’m gonna cum!” Your hips are rolling to the pace of her fingers thrusting in and out of you. You fear suffocating her but your high is creeping near as you focus on your orgasm. A third finger is introduced which causes you to cry out even louder. You’re desperate now and you can’t stop yourself as you use her to reach your climax. The stretch of her fingers deepen your cunt and her tongue on your clit is sending you into overdrive.
Your release slams against you full force and your thighs threaten to close around her head but Rue keeps them from collapsing around her head by pressing one of your thighs down with her arm. She doesn’t pull away from you as she continues to lick you clean.
Your body trembles with aftershocks of pleasure as Rue finally moves away from your pussy and trails her lips back up your body. She captures your mouth and you moan softly tasting yourself on her lips. The kiss moves slow and sweet with your tongues clashing against each other as your core begs for more.
“You got any toys I can use on you in here?” Rue asks you which causes your cheeks to warm in slight embarrassment.
“Yeah.” You admit.
“Bring them out, I’m not done with you just yet.” Rue whispers. “Want to explore every part of you.”
