After work on Tuesday Kristen gets a call from Knox.

Knox - Hey Kristen, it's me, Knox. Do you want to go on a date? Kristen - Ok.

In the Spice Market, The Cannery is an old factory that has been refurbished in San Myshuno's most popular nightclub. Lucky Thayer (NPC DJ) was headlining, bringing the crowds. Kristen was in her element and was surprised at how well Knox kept up with her. They danced and got to know each other all evening.

As they were waiting for their cab, Knox couldn't deny the chemistry any longer.

It doesn't look like Kristen will be a Single for much longer.

Kristen hit the gym the next day and while sweating her stuff on the treadmill, she was approached by a certain eco enthusiast - Knox Greenburg. They immediately hit it off and Kristen was doing her best to remain fun and flirty while drenched in sweat. Knox didn't seem to mind though because before he left, he gave her his number.

A Breathtaking Encounter (From Seeing An Attractive Sim) Kristen's eyes were caressed by a truly magnificent sight as a particularly appealing Sim just entered her view. This fine specimen of a Sim now has Kristen's undivided attention as they try to pick their jaw up from the floor. There are heartpounding moments but this one here is HEARTSTOPPING!

It's Singles Night at the Rattlesnake Juice Bar

Chloe, Lola, Erin and Kristen decide the best way to celebrate their first official night as roomies is to head out on the town.

Chloe and Lola felt it best to hide their true identities in public, their goal is to blend in to Sim life, not freak everyone out. So they don their human disguises and watch Erin and Kristen closely for cues.

Without missing a beat, Erin is straight at the bar chatting up the locals and takes particular interest in Sergio Romeo. They get to talking, do a little dancing and exchange numbers before the night is over.

The girls head home. But Chloe goes home disappointed in herself and envious of Erin's confidence, having been too shy to talk to anyone but her sister.

That's right - I'm back! After a very extended hiatus (and I am sorry about that) I am back, better than ever and ready to tell the stories of The Sims townies.

In my hiatus I did the very stupid thing of deleting my previous Legacy of Our Lives save game *a moment of silence for those sims 💀* so I am bringing you Legacy of Our Lives 2.0 an AU canon save with lots of new (yet familiar) faces.

As before, my gameplay is very heavily inspired by soap operas so expect drama soaked story lines with morally grey characters that you can't help but love.

Back at the other side of the party ~

Dee and Dustin have a few drinks from the bar and joke about their celebrity siblings. Dustin is Beau’s agent (more like a sponge) and is impressed that Dee came out of obscurity to book the Tonight Show for Nina. He tells Dee to come by his office, Well Suited Talent Agency, next week. He’d love to introduce her to some people.

Dee is going to have her hands full between being Nina’s agent and her day job at Landgraab Realty. Luckily, she loves a challenge.

Beau leads Nina through Tony’s elaborate penthouse until he opens the doors to a private balcony bar. 

He moved about the bar like he had been here before whilst flirtatiously teasing Nina like he used to. The liquid courage helped Nina gloss over the morality of flirting with her ex-boyfriend whilst they were both drunk at a celebrity party. 

She had been waiting for the moment they would cross paths again. In her loneliest moments, she had run through thousands of scenarios of what she would say to him. In most of them, she had imagined more raised voices than this. But seeing him again had dumped any logical thought out of her head so that she could enjoy feeling wanted again. 

He complimented how great she looked and she laughed it off, saying that it was just the drinks talking. He corrected her, it wasn’t his drink talking, he was blown away at how well she was doing. Beau suggested that they pick up where they left off and Nina joked that he was going to have to make it up to her with lots of pretty things before she would let him see her like that again. 

[PSA: The characters in my save are very problematic and rarely are my sims typically ‘good’ people. They lie, cheat, steal, abuse, betray and are just generally toxic. These storylines come from the game’s autonomy with my imagination, heavily influenced by day-time soap operas, fleshing it out into a story. I do not condone any of my characters behaviours. That being said, I live for the drama of it all.]

The second Nina smells a hint of Beau’s cologne, she is transported back to a year ago when they were still together. All those feelings came rushing back, making her forget how things had ended. Instead of being honest and telling Nina that he had met someone who he actually had feelings for more than a regular hook up, he let the tabloids dump her for him. It was front-page news that Beau Broke, rising star and a notoriously eligible bachelor, had finally found love. 

It made Nina question herself, question her ability to be loved. She had been open about her feelings for him and he didn’t even have the spine to tell her he didn’t feel the same way. He just ghosted her. Blocked her number and socials, until recently. 

It had only happened a handful of times but it started as a few comments on her Simstagram page, then he was sliding into her dm’s with saucier comments. Part of Nina hated it, but a bigger part of her enjoyed the attention. 

Now, Nina was quickly falling back to her old habits of ignoring everything telling her she going to get hurt and agreed to get a drink with Beau. 

[Dustin has had a serious makeover but I tried to keep his genetics as close to the Sims 4 version as I could with a bit of Sim 2 Dustin Broke inspiration chucked in there. Beau on the other hand was made by playing with genetics in CAS and some influence from the Sims 2. Beau and Dustin have QUITE the backstory in this save game so I may spend some time retelling that soon, if ya’ll are interested?]
