Dans not quite an enabler. But he’s also not. Against whatever lex wants to do. He’s very “if you’re going to do the crazy shit at least bring someone with for safety. Preferably me”
But just thinking like. Dan going into this worried he’s going to have to step up and handle everything and accidentally show his skills far too early into this relationship only to watch lex torture and blow out a guys kneecaps and threaten to cut off his knot and is like… oh damn ok I think he’ll be fine when he realizes I’m a little crazy too
Dan: I’ll have to figure out a way to tell him about my past :/
Lex: *blowing out an alpha’s knee, crashing out and threatening to rip his knot off, trying to drag said alpha into the harbor to drown to death because he’s got Places To Be*

MAWS S2 Trinity Theory
So, everyone is theorizing how S2 might introduce more superhero characters to the point the finale involves the formation of the JL.
But yk what I think? I think we should take a step back.
For it to be the whole JL, it'd mean introducing a lot of new characters. Keep in mind that if S2 also contains only 10 eps, that's not a lot of time for each one to develop & for us to subsequently connect with. It'll also encroach on Lois & Jimmy's screen time.
Thus, instead of the JL, it should be the DC Trinity.
Introducing Bruce Wayne/Batman:
-It can be the usual playboy vers or maybe a younger rougher vers like Battinson.
-MAWS can subvert his usual 'Beware the Superman' attitude & he instead comes to Metropolis for help (after some testing & stalking observing). It’d also be a huge middle finger to a lotta writers if he outright says something along the lines of ‘This guy? A threat? Please, actual puppies have more malice than him.’
-Maybe he strikes up an unexpected friendship with Jimmy over his conspiracy theories, bcz Bruce being Bruce would definitely be investigating similar cases with dead seriousness.
-He can also bond with Clark & Lois by making fun of other corrupt ppl in power (*koff* Lex *koff* Vicki).
-He unknowingly shows them that like Clark, he too is a good person at his core. Instead of using his trauma as a Freudian Excuse to be horrible, he uses it to be better, stronger, all so a family can safely go home after a great movie.
Introducing Diana Prince/Wonder Woman:
-Maybe Clark assumes she's also a Kryptonian refugee.
-She isn't, she's an Amazon but they still connect. They understand what it's like to have that inherent feeling of being an outsider bcz you'll always be that one adoptee amongst the billions of others born in the world you've given your heart to.
-Maybe Diana/Wonder Woman bonds with Lois. Lois confides with her abt the struggles with being a minority woman (due to her half Korean heritage) & Diana also admits her uncertainty in navigating Man’s World which isn't as black/white as her mother & sisters painted it to be.
-Jimmy is mostly fanboying bcz Amazons are real! Now he just has to know if they rlly live on an invisible magical island (they do).
-She meets Superman both inside and outside of the cape and she sees that this is what Man’s World is capable of bcz at the end of the day, despite the blood in his veins, Clark was raised by Man’s World. All his virtues and strengths were taught to him by Ma & Pa Kent, not Kryptonian soldiers or Amazon warriors.
I love the JL as much as anyone but I wouldn’t mind if the show finds a middle ground in focusing more on the DC Trinity. Each of them have endured loneliness, each of them are full of so much love they want to give to a world that’ll always choose to take first, each of them will always go above and beyond to do what’s right and save others naysayers be damned.
Most importantly? All of them deserve to be happy and maybe they can find some happiness with each other too.

SUPERMAN: EARTH ONE
I saw the covers of these three volumes and knew I had to check them out so I loaded up a digital copy.
"If you experienced the same thing, if you've ever worn that symbol on a T-shirt, doodled it on the back of a notebook, or had it tattooed on your arm…if you understand what that symbol means -- that all things are possible -- then this book is dedicated to you. It is also dedicated to DC's Dan DiDio, who allowed this kid from New Jersey to finally realize the dream of a lifetime."
Hearing something like that lets me know that the writers care about what they're putting out and had something in mind that they wanted to tell with a beginning middle and end. Then the opening panels have Clark getting on a train and his mother asking why when he can just fly. "I want this to take time. I need time to think."
Barely even into the first few pages and I said "Alright, I have to buy this physically." because it was just too good. (plus it was only three volumes so it was compact enough to collect).
We get some really great concept art in the back. Even a copy of the newspaper. The dialogue is great, this version of Clark is great. No complaints with the first volume.
Tumblr media
Now the next volume keeps up this pace and gives Clark a little bit of an adolescent moment where he's not really with Lois yet, in fact, there's someone else who's interested (this Lisa) but he has to learn to pace himself. He learns what consequences there are for his actions with his neighbor, Lisa. The second villain is Parasite which I've never really been fond of anyway because his story is more or less the same every time, so whatever.
Tumblr media
The last volume is where things shine again because it reminds me that Lisa's into Clark (Clark is only making friends) because they think they're weirder than him and need a shoulder to cry on. That's great that you're trusted like that but it pushes your own self into a corner because you aren't actually the neutral they want to believe and feel you can't open up because of it.
I have an album of various pictures I've come to like from specific comics and I found myself pausing a lot to take some for this one, it has some good art. Lex is introduced, Z is introduced. Z...looks like a hooded Robin, I'm not gonna lie. Lex is...ahead of the game. He's married, he has hair. I mean, he's smart, he has the right idea but I always feel like people overthink his character and try to change him up but they need to remember that this is just the guy that wanted to sink California, putting a bomb in the San Andreas fault. This version fits this story because he's more involved with the government though.
Tumblr media
But I like the theme of participation because you have the news media watching Superman and they just watch and show. You have the army, they get told by Zod not to fight him so they stay out of the fight. Superman is without ally, nobody will help him, they just watch because a man with that much power should be stopped, right? But there's a bat-signal type S emblem in the sky. Lois, the one he leaves mid-fight for just to see what's wrong and keep her safe. But who's standing there than none other than Lex. He's the only one to do something- take away Superman's power with red radiation.
But while characters like Lois and Lex are tentative, it's only a three volume arc so we don't get to see that fully blossom, just begin. So Clark still likes Lisa, he talks to Lois and they are friends now but it's not the role that Lois is known for. Lex comes to a decision about what his life is about and then leaves it in his wife's hands at the end, so she's the one taking his role. Part of me wants to say 'why even introduce them then?' but I can't really complain because I liked what I saw of them and it was only a 3 parter. All in all, it succeeded in being a good comic book, maybe not as edgy as you see on the covers but it made me just as happy.

Searching for an old time capsule in the remains of the Temple of Exiles
After going out on a desert expedition, why not try an underwater one? This time we’ve been exploring the Temple of Exiles alongside a couple of veteran adventurers who are quite familiar with the sea. Expeditions are fun, but they can also be dangerous, so it’s best to have a pro - or two - with you to bail you out.
While I wouldn’t be in the same ranks of an adventurer like Jamie, Dixie, Connie, or Raiden, etc, I think it’s safe to say that I’ve had more adventurers than the average person. I mean, I travel a lot - probably because it’s the one thing that motivated my introverted homebody self to leave the house.
While I find adventuring fun, it’s not something I want my life to revolve around, so I’m more than happy to just tag along and let others who are far more qualified to take the lead. I just like taking on new experiences in general and I think I’m open to most things, so I rarely turn down the opportunity when offered. Plus, I’m lucky and grateful that I live the kind of lifestyle where I can easily do that, so it’s not something I take for granted.
So, for the past few days, I’ve been exploring the Colitara Expanse with Dixie, Emilie, Valerie, Sara, Daisy Jane, and the renowned adventurer Lex Rubio. Like I said, it’s been a lot of fun and hard work. You can’t just walk in the ruins like you would on the streets. Because it’s all ruins, anything can happen, so you gotta check your surroundings and try not to disturb the environment too much or else you’ll run into trouble.
I was surprised to see Lex Rubio with us as she’s kind of a legend among adventurers. It’s no surprise that Jamie and Dixie have worked alongside her before, but I didn’t know that Sara had a connection with her too.
In fact, Sara was actually named after her, which is a very little known fact as she’s been called Sara her whole life. Her full name’s actually Alexandra Sarina Zhuan, after Lex and her mother, respectively.
Turns out that Lex was a friend of Sara’s parents as they were trained by the same mentor back in the day. The three of them went on adventures together for a time before Sara’s parents decided to settle down and get married.
According to Lex, Sarina planned to raise a family and keep on being an adventurer while Hong went on to become a professor. Up until Sara was born, Sarina was up and about while taking good care of herself. Unfortunately, Sarina and Lex got into an accident on the way back home from a routine mission. Lex was able to bring Sara into the world and give Sarina some time with her daughter before succumbing to her injuries.
To Sara, Lex is a family friend, though they haven’t seen much of each other since Hong’s death a few years ago, when shit started going down in their hometown. Lex and Sara have been investigating the circumstances behind his death, specifically hunting down the bastards who called for his execution. Lex has lost other friends, fellow adventurers, to the war and politics going on over there. And she’s been openly critical about how the government had been fanning the flames. It’s safe to say that she’s on their hit list because of that.
The deaths of her father and close friend are the main reasons why Sara has no desire to go back home, ever. She has other reasons as well, but those are the main two. Though, like Lex, Sara never really had any strong feelings for her homeland other than their families have been there since forever. So by leaving, they’re essentially leaving behind everything their families have built and they’re never gonna get it back.
In Sara’s case, she had to flee, and didn’t have a plan in mind because the situation was sudden. As a result, she could only take so much with her while everything else was left behind, and probably taken by the military. Even if she was able to go back without getting arrested, she probably wouldn’t be able to get anything back. It might just be stuff, but a lot of it belonged to her parents, and that’s what gets to her the most.
Luckily for her, Lex kept a lot of photos and memorabilia from her adventures with Sara’s parents, which was part of the reason for this particular expedition. She insisted that Sara keep all of it - a whole trunk!
It’s amazing how something seemingly insignificant becomes something sentimental as the years go on. A trunk full of items and photos from almost 40 years ago, now being passed down to the next generation. To most, it may look like junk, but for those who are close, they tell stories.
Though Sara never got to know her mother, her father and Lex often told her stories of the past. Based on the pictures, Sara really does look like her mother. It’s amazing how some people take after their parents.
As for this expedition in particular, it has to do with Dixie, Lex, and Sara’s parents. Today happened to mark 35 years since the four of them first stepped foot into the Temple of Exiles. It was a pretty big deal at the time, so they left a time capsule not too far from the back entrance as they were planning to return later.
Of course, their lives took many unexpected twists and turns. Now, it’s only Dixie and Lex left, but they have Sara, so they felt that it was only right for her to be there when they open the box.
With Dixie here, it’s no surprise that Emilie’s here too as she’s become one of her frequent travel companions. Valerie’s also tagging along for the first time as she wants to bond with her older sister. Emilie had been saying that she should spend more time with her family, especially after Mackenzie died.
Valerie’s graduating this winter and she’s unsure of her future afterwards. Instead of spending summer break working, she’s traveling with Emilie and Dixie. She says she never really got the opportunity to travel much so she wants to make the most of the time she has now to have some fun, and maybe figure things out along the way.
So far, Emilie’s been doing good on keeping up with her family, at least with Valerie, Ann, Gram, and Maxwell. As for her parents, that’s a bit more complicated. Her mother, she says, is a work in a progress, but they’re getting along much better now compared to last year. Her and Valerie’s father, on the other hand, is something that she’s trying not to push too hard to avoid setting herself up for disappointment.
I’ve said this before, but Emilie quitting her successful career in the FBI was the best choice she ever made. Along with being Dixie’s travel companion, she’s also dabbling in music and ceramics. Her parents were in politics and law enforcement, so she was kinda pressured to follow that track.
For a time, she did enjoy her career, at least the success and recognition it brought her. I mean, who wouldn’t? She was - and still is - considered one of the best, so that’s a huge accomplishment. It’s sad to think that her career was the one thing that kept Emilie in contact with her father. After she made the decision to quit, he was not happy about it. And it got to the point where she had no choice but to block his calls for a time because she was in such a bad mental state and dealing with his constant criticism was the last thing she needed.
Now, it seems like Valerie’s his next target for his criticism, which was another reason why she decided to travel with Emilie instead of work. Since high school she’s spent her summers working as a secretary at her father’s work, which she doesn’t really like. Emilie’s been through the same while Mackenzie managed to avoid it as she was the rebellious one. They both said the work itself isn’t bad but the issue is the fact that their father forced them to do it and it’s not for their benefit, it’s for his.
In Emilie’s words, he basically guilt tripped them into it. From how she and Valerie describe him, he comes across as the workaholic type who thinks he’s superior because he revolves his life around work. No offense to him, but there’s a reason why he’s had three failed marriages and his kids aren’t close to him.
Valerie has come to terms with being okay with uncertainty. She doesn’t consider herself to be as ambitious like Emilie, nor does she have any interest in climbing her way to the top, something her father took personally. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. Ambition doesn’t always mean competing to get to the top, it can take on other forms. As Emilie says, being at the top isn’t always all what it’s cracked up to be, especially if you still aren’t satisfied with your life.
As long as you get up and do something, putting yourself out there, that’s better than forcing yourself in a corner because you were pressured to do so. Not everyone has a specific direction in life, so they should be allowed to wander around and discover for themselves what they want out of life. Sometimes what they need doesn’t align, or even contradicts, with what you think is best for them, and you need to accept that.
I really think a lot of relationships can be improved if we can just be more open and accept that people have their own way of figuring things out. What works for you might not work for them, and vice versa, and we need to respect that.
Speaking of uncertain futures, Valerie updated us about Gram’s situation with his mother. He’s at that stage where he’s beginning to apply to colleges and that’s a stressful time. Basically, he has an idea of what his future will look like, and it looks like his mother and stepfather doesn’t really fit in it. They travel a lot because his stepfather’s in the military, so they kinda expected Gram to sort of follow his footsteps. Except they never considered that, first of all, Gram’s not interested in the military. And second, because he’s been living with Ann and Valerie, he’s never had a chance to get to know his stepfather, so why expect him to follow?
Valerie says that Gram already has an idea of what he wants, which is to go to an in state school on a scholarship that’s not too far so he can live on campus but also visit home on weekends to help Maxwell care for Bonnie. That alone already contradicts what his mother and stepfather want, not that they really put into consideration what he wanted, according to Valerie.
I get the idea that Valerie isn’t too keen on Gram’s parents. To be honest, from what I’m hearing, they don’t seem too much like parents compared to Ann, someone who actually raised him over the past few years. I don’t blame Valerie for being kinda overprotective of him, nor do I blame Maxwell for relying on him a lot after Mackenzie walked out. Family isn’t always blood, after all.
With all this talk about uncertain futures, I think it wound up kinda fitting that this expedition is sort of like going back in time. Even with well laid plans, there’s no predicting exactly what will be in store in the next few years, decades, months…Anything’s possible, good or bad.
Although the ruins have been well maintained, it is still old and falling apart. There’s only so much they can do without disturbing the environment too much. While the Temple of Exiles has been abandoned for a reason, there’s still lots of valuable research that’s worth looking into and preserving. Lex, Dixie, and Sara’s parents played a huge role in setting that in motion, and the time capsule commemorated that.
Since it’s been over 30 years since the box was buried by Sarina, we had to keep our expectations low in case it was in bad condition. Luckily, the box has held up pretty well. So, aside from the usual weathering and the items needing a good wipe down, everything in there was well preserved.
When Lex opened it, the first thing we saw was a binder wrapped in a plastic sleeve thing to protect it from the elements. Inside were a bunch of articles and photos, slightly faded but still in good quality.
The rest were a bunch of odds and ends, like a set of keys from an old lab facility that no longer stands. Lex said that it was one of those places where they’d often go for research before heading off on an expedition. By the time the four of them first set foot here, they managed to meet in their usual room for the final time before the lab was closed, and later demolished.
Another item was a cracked magnifying glass that the team had used to decipher some of the ancient texts that were hidden away in the walls. Dixie said the crack was her fault as she dropped it while climbing a wall to get a better look at a mural. It was a gift, something she had since forever, so she was reluctant to get it replaced. Hong was the one who finally convinced her to get a new one and came up with the idea to put it in the time capsule.
There was also a notebook in there that’s well preserved, a record log kept by Sarina. Along with notes, she also drew various diagrams. Lex said that these were the notes Sarina took while researching the Temple of Exiles before actually stepping foot in there. The idea was for her to later compare her research decades later to see how much has changed. It’s amazing to realize how far they’ve come in terms of researching this place.
The last thing was an old pocket watch that was found in the floor of one of the halls. Not much is known about it other than they thought it was pretty cool. Since the hall where they found it was near the library, it’s likely that it was accidentally dropped by a scholar. Though a seemingly mundane item, it is a relic of a long distant past, and that alone is intriguing as there’s a lot yet to be discovered about the Temple of Exiles.
While there has been a lot of progress made in terms of research, the Temple of Exiles and its true purpose remains a history. It’s one of the few remnants of a once flourishing civilization that fell apart in the Great Tsunami, a cataclysmic event that drastically changed the Colitara Expanse. Because of the Great Tsunami, the Colitara Expanse was no longer considered a habitable area out of fear that another catastrophic event would occur. There were not that many survivors to begin with, and they all eventually relocated to the surface.
From the looks of the ruins, the Temple of Exiles kinda gives me a grand castle vibe. Because it has a massive library, it’s pretty clear that this place was a big deal. Lex taught us a bit about the work that goes in deciphering ancient texts, which comes in handy for a place like this. It’s fascinating work and I have a lot of respect for those who take the time to come here and uncover the history behind these ruins.
After walking through quite a few ruins in my travels, I find that being inside them makes you feel super aware about the passage of time. I don’t hate that feeling, but it does makes me feel uneasy, though not in an entirely bad way, if that makes sense.

Love Finds A Way (Ian Malcolm X Reader)
Tumblr media
Request: Hello!! I love your Ian malcolm x reader so far and I was just wondering if you could do another one (either set in the first or second movie) where ian and the reader get separated and it freaks Ian out until they find each other again and ian decides to confess his feelings maybe? Thanks!
A/N: Let's go! I've never written anything set in the first movie but that movie moves a lot faster so forgive me cutting through to get to the good bits. I spared you every dinosaur chase scene, you're welcome. Enjoy!
This trip was a mistake, you realized that now covered in mud and sitting in a tree.
Come along, Ian had suggested, it’ll be fun. It wasn’t fun now, you’d be sure to remind him of that… if you ever saw him again. Even though you had wanted to stay behind with Ian, Alan had convinced you to join him and the kids.
Now, the other three were getting some shuteye. How they could sleep with all of this around them, you would never know. You watched the Brachiosaurs eat from the safety of your vantage point. All the joy and wonder you had felt earlier on the tour was now gone, replaced with a feeling of dread deep in the pit of your stomach.
There was no way you were getting out of this alive, even with the help of the amazing Dr. Alan Grant. You had never been a fearless fighter or particularly intelligent.
“You’re still awake?” Dr. Grant asked softly. You had thought he was asleep but it appeared he’d just been resting eyes. He didn’t even look like the man you’d met earlier that day, each of his arms wrapped around one of the children he had despised.
You shrugged your shoulders. “I’m worried about Dr. Malcolm, that’s all.”
It was a fair worry, he was your friend and mentor. The two of you had spent a lot of time together both in the workplace and out. You liked to think there was an inseparable bond between the two of you, something that rarely anyone else had. No matter how many wives or girlfriends he went through, what was between you both would never change.
“He’s fine. As long as he stays still, even if the T. Rex circles back, he’ll live.”
Realistically, you knew he was right but still. Nobody but the four of you knew where he was and you had no idea how to get to the others. Worst vacation ever, Ian owed you one if the two of you got off this stinking island alive.
Meanwhile, Dr. Ian Malcolm was in a panic himself. His leg was in pain, but it was dull compared to his worry for you. Now that he wasn’t being chased by a giant meat eating dinosaur, he could think properly and he had noticed your absence.
There were two options; you were laying out there dead somewhere (which he hated to think about, that couldn’t be the one) or you were wherever Dr. Grant and Hammond’s grandchildren were.
“We should be out there looking for them,” he tried to shift but his leg was in worse shape than he thought. Ellie hurried forward, scolding him for moving and putting himself in pain. She was obviously worried for Alan as well, they had issues, the two of them.
Was being in love with a workplace friend a common occurrence because it seemed like they were in the exact same department and- Oh god, if you and Alan died they would never get to tell them. More importantly he would never get to tell you.
At some point, Gennaro and Ellie leave to go look for Arnold, leaving him and Hammond to guide them to where they needed to go. He tried to keep his head in the game as much as possible, his survival and the others depended on it but he was too worried about you.
This had to be some sick twisted joke the universe had decided to play on him, he didn’t tell the one he loved he loved them when he had the chance, he fooled around with so many people... and this was his sick and twisted comeuppance.
He supposed if that was what was going on he deserved it, but damn it if he didn’t wish his leg was better so he could be out there looking for you.
How many adults did it take to hold a door shut against one Velociraptor? Apparently, three. You, Alan and Ellie leaned against the door, trying your best to keep it shut while Lex and Tim figured out the computer system.
“This is where we die,” you muttered under your breath as Ellie tried desperately to reach for the shotgun that was just out of her grasp.
“You did it!” Tim shouted and just like that the locks were on the doors.
The relief was short lived, but such is life when you’re on a dinosaur infested island. The five of you escaped through the vents, making your way back to the main entrance of the visitors building. It was a race against time (and Velociraptors), but in the end, you all made it safely back to the ground and the T. Rex took care of the raptors.
“Come on,” Alan ushered the kids, you and Ellie out the front door. You felt like you were going to pass out just from the adrenaline. Hammond and Ian were waiting outside in the jeep but you couldn’t bring yourself to say anything to either of them as you climbed in. Alan said something but you leaned back in the jeep seat, releasing a breath you didn’t even know you’d been holding.
You weren’t home safe yet but it sure felt like it.
After that, everything was a blur. The helicopter ride home was silent, everyone contemplating everything they had just witnessed on the island. For once, even the great Ian Malcolm had nothing to say.
You leaned against him and he let you, clearly just as happy as you were to be in the same vicinity once again.
Upon landing in Costa Rica, the group went their separate ways. Hammond went off with his grandchildren, Ellie needed medical care and Alan went with her, Ian needed his own care so you went with him. You wondered if you’d ever get to see those people again. It was a strange thing to bond over, but you felt like you were all that much closer now that you’d been through this together.
Ian was out for a while so you pulled up a chair and slept beside the hospital bed.
“(Y/n)?” You awoke to someone saying your name, visions of giant lizard monsters danced in your vision for a few moments longer as you blinked awake.
You would surely be having nightmares of that for a long time.
Ian was awake, he had shifted himself into a sitting position, his hand on yours. You met his eyes, there was a lot that needed to be said. You wanted to tell him everything that had happened, with Alan and the kids and the raptors and-
You hugged him instead, it was strange, even though the two of you were fairly close, neither of you had ever been huge fans of physical contact.
He hugged you back though.
“That was the worst vacation ever…” You whispered, pulling away slightly to look into his eyes.
He chuckled. “Next time you can pick, no more dinosaur islands. I promise.”
You suddenly became aware of the very little space between the two of you. This was the closest the two of you had ever been in a non joking manner. It felt like being separated from each other on a dinosaur infested island had changed something in your dynamic, though you weren’t sure what it was. The smile on his face faded slightly and he reached up, closing the distance between the two of you, hand gently pressed to your cheek.
That’s what it was. The dynamic between you two had DEFINITELY changed.
“I’ve, uh, always wanted to do that.” He sounded slightly guilty, pulling away.
There were butterflies in your stomach and somehow the world seemed to be spinning. You laughed nervously, something about experiencing this so soon after a near death experience was hilarious to you.
"Funnily enough, me too," you admit, pressing your forehead to his. It's really too soon to know what this really means or if this is all just a crazy reaction to being separated and not able to see each other but you don't even care.
You could put a label on it later, he would agree. For now the two of you had each other and you were never letting go. And if Ian asked you to sleep with him later that night and if the two of you awoke each other from nightmares screaming only to comfort each other, nobody else needed to know.
You'd always had a special bond. This just made it stronger.

garchel implications aside ( i am sobbing, i am screaming, i am scared ), what are your thoughts on season 4 from what we've seen / know so far???
it looks like we're getting gar, rachel, & dickkory stories ( which. thank GOD ) so what do you think / want to happen?
also the mother mayhem clip kinda reminded me of your purifaction series ngl
I didn't get to fangirl and analyze right after because it was late and I had to get up early for work but you're giving me a perfect opportunity to gather all my thoughts together in one place, thank you.
Tumblr media
I am choosing to IGNORE any implications of this shot whatsoever until we get a concrete confirmation (and we better not). I hate the dread this one damn picture caused all over the fandom and overshadowed the hype BUT I'm choosing to remain reasonable and not assume the worst. This picks up literally right after S3 so Rachel has been back for what, 2 days? She's allowed to catch up and cuddle with all her family members, something tells me she will be glued to Dick and Kory as much as she is to Gar here. It doesn't need to mean absolutely anything deeper than that.
And if it does, if they are really going to screw us over like that... Well, we have to prepare. Because I am NOT abandoning my babies, I will keep watching the show even if they are going to shove this thing down my throat. I love this family too much to leave it.
UPDATE:
Tumblr media
Teagan confirmed this is platonic. We're safe.
Some things we found out before the panel actually made me really excited. First Brenton confirmed some season 1 villains are coming back + at the panel Greg added to this that death isn't an issue in this case, so I'm hoping for Adamson or Angela and The Nuclear Family.
Then Joseph Morgan said this
Tumblr media
And it's REALLY INTERESTING how he only mentions Dick and Rachel specifically. This is giving me hope for some good moments with my father-daughter duo! My mind was overflowing with theories throughout the weekend and if it goes how I'm thinking it might go, it's going to be absolutely GLORIOUS.
(I wish they didn't waste half the panel on talking about Lex and actually discussed Brother Blood instead but it is what it is)
Tumblr media
Everything Ryan said about Gar's trauma coming back and how it's a good thing for the character makes me so happy. It's about time this is addressed. It's Ryan's and Gar's time to shine!!!! Also THE SUIT. I am in love with that suit!!!!!
And DICKKORY! Brenton, our King, our Captain, finally pulled through. I love watching that clip, he's blushing like crazy hahahaha. "You're on HBO MAX now" "We're allowed to do some things, yeah" I love that man. It's going to be hot as hell in there!!!!
Tumblr media
Now, that fight with Mother Mayhem. She kicks their asses, leaves them licking their wounds - they said that, we've seen that. And as badass as it is to see the team finally together like this, the whole thing seemed pretty... stupid.
Because are they seriously taking turns going at her while there rest just stands and watch? Dick really thought it's a good idea to charge at the woman only with his escrima sticks after two (TWO!) of the most powerful team members got knocked out in seconds? Are they all really that stunned by the fact a magic wielder is attacking them?
So these are my thoughts on what we've seen and learned. I will be watching the panel again after work and maybe come to some other conclusions.
As for what I want to happen?
I hope they won't waste too much time on Lex. We don't need another Crane situation.
I want a lot more family moments, that tight knit vibe. What we got is a pretty good start.
Obviously the most important thing to me here is my father-daughter duo, so I'm gonna say this: I'm expecting some protectiveness right away because for god's sake Rachel passed out after that attack - I better see a concerned father in action.
Also this makes me wonder if this the reason for the whole white hair/no gemstone thing:
Tumblr media
Mother Mayhem sucked in everything Rachel gave her in that clip, drained her basically. Will this be the after effect? Ever since I saw those pics I thought something big and painful is going to happen and it will be sudden, but maybe the change is gradual? Her her starts fading, gem either falls out or melts into the skin - and they rush back to Star Labs to get help. We'll see.
Then there's Joseph Morgan saying his "sweet and innocent" Sebastian is on first name basis with Dick and Rachel specifically which makes me think - Dick is going to trust that man with Rachel's wellbeing and he will DEEPLY regret it later.

What is your opinion on Smallville Lana and Clana?
Oh wow a Smallville question! And what a question at that, right? I feel like I should preface this with a lot of stuff, because I actually have huge history with this character and the ship (which, believe it or not, I used to ship at some point).
First of all, I LOVE Kristen! I adore her, I've seen several cons with her and she's the sweetest and kindest and is stunning inside and out. And looks like she's also aware of the problems with her character's storylines and wasn't much happy about it.
Second, I watched Smallville as it was airing in.... god knows what year.... meaning, I was very young at that time and coming straight out of Lois & Clark TNAOS series, which turned me into a Clois shipper for life. So once Smallville started and was a huge hit right away I was hesitating about getting on board, because: "How do I, a Clois shipper, watch a series about Clark and another girl's big love?" And I vividly remember reading an article in a magazine with one of the producers, who was promising that this was about school years ONLY, that there would be no Lois, so we were all free and safe to root for this cute young couple. So I trusted them and started watching and just loooved early Lana and Clana, it was adorable and just age-appropriate cute teen love for me at that time. (I keep mentioned my youth because I think the show aged with the viewers and the early seasons/ships were more younger viewers-appropriate, while the more adult and mature Clois relationship was more for the older viewers, like you would grow out of one ship into another. And I think that's also how the different age groups gravitate towards these ships). After the first couple of seasons it started to get a bit tiring but I was still holding on, to the point that when they announced Lois's arrival after S3 I felt so betrayed 😂, I was like "you promised!" and I tried not to like her, but nobody could resist Erica and I fell for her in 1(ONE) episode 😂
After that it just all went downhill for Lana/Clana. Storylines kept getting worse and more unbearable. The back and forth and the constant will they won't they was super tiring, especially compared to the breath of fresh air that was Lois/Clois. Whenever Clark and Lana were sharing screen it was sheer misery and they were just bringing out the worst in each other. Their plots separate from each other were so much better (whenever Lana was allowed to have one, that is, which wasn't often). I remember genuinely loving Lana with Jensen's character until he had to leave and went psycho, and - unpopular opinion - but I even loved her story with Lex and their own love-and-war twisted games they were playing, at least it made her interesting and exciting as compared to the horrible stuff she was given with Clark! Basically with time I could stand her less and less.
I also think she overstayed her welcome, because the writers had no idea what to do with her anymore, especially in an adult Superman's story. In S7 I felt they were nicely building up to her exit and showing in excruciating painful details how Clana just was NOT working at all, no matter how much they tried (and GOD, they tried gazillion tiring times!!), and even the characters were saying it like a million times how maybe they weren't meant to be, but sadly the Arc of Suck in mid-S8 shit on all over it obviously... That was the worst written, most offensive, character destroying bunch of episodes I've seen in any show and I'm embarrassed on behalf of Smallville producers and writers for doing that. That exit and the horrible taste retroactively ruined all my fond childhood memories I had of the character and of shipping that ship. I can't stand either anymore, sadly.
I think I would have loved if they had kept her as just a friend for her last couple seasons, like Oliver was with Lois, I think her character could have been redeemed that way and could have been made likable again. Because I know they brought her back in S11 comics as a friend and that was pretty nice. But oh well.

don’t know if I’ll live ‘til tomorrow // a supergirl fanfic
All Querl hears is Lex’s laughter.
His taunting- so, Coluan, you were only mostly dead? No matter. You can die with her- as he rushes forward, making it to Supergirl’s side simultaneously in time and too late.
All he sees is the Fortress of Solitude, ice surrounding him, the rest of the people he tried to save- fading from sight, pulled away from him, as though he’s the one who’s been put in a bottle this time.
All he feels is Kara’s hand in his, as they land in a place they both know well.
“We’re in the Phantom Zone.”
~
Their hands haven’t left one another since they got there.
“Your ancestral memories.” Kara says suddenly, if only to hear something at all. “Do they have anything that could help us? I mean, Indigo was sent to Fort Rozz with my aunt and uncle, but…”
“I should ask you for any information.” Querl answers. “You were the one who had to stay here for over twenty years.”
“In my spaceship.” Kara tells him, shivering. “Not out here. And besides, it’s… different now.”
“Indeed.” Querl says as he squeezes her hand. “And as for your question, yes. Besides Indigo herself, I actually have several ancestors who’ve found their way here.”
He lets himself laugh, a little bit.
“You would think they’d expect after a while that any kind of criminal act would get one sent to such a place as this. Especially when dealing with those who discovered it in the first place.”
“The Kryptonians.” Kara says. “Yeah.”
“And, surprisingly, one of my doppelgangers that we met after the Crisis briefly suffered the same fate, while he and the Legion were fighting a child of General Zod.”
“How did that one get out?”
“He had the help of his friends.”
“…Oh.”
~
“I remember it.” Kara says. “Being here. Or, somewhere like here, anyway. My mother- Alura- well… she certainly didn’t expect my pod to be knocked off-course, when I was sent from Krypton. But she said I would sleep most of the way. And I tried, some of the time.”
“But not for decades.”
“No.” Kara agrees, sighing. “Even when I got to Earth, I was afraid to fall asleep- because I didn’t think it was real. Like I would wake up in my pod again, and every hope of escape would be taken away from me. I’d just be stuck there, for years, and nobody would know.”
“And now you have returned.” Querl answers. “Is this how it looked before? You said it was different.”
“It is different.” Kara emphasizes, looking around her. “It seems… fragmented.”
“Like the universes collided with one another.” He observes. “Of course.”
“Which will make it more difficult for them to find us.” Kara says, shoulders slumping. “I can’t imagine where they’d even start looking.”
And without a twelfth-level intellect, the process will be much slower, she thinks.
She imagines it for a moment- Alex or someone else finally forcing an opening, pulling her into the light. Kara asking how long it’s been, and her sister hesitating, before telling her how many years. Or worse, it’s not Alex at all- maybe this time it will have been hundreds of years, or thousands. She pictures the Legion rescuing her and Brainy, his friends happy to see him but saddened when they also glimpse her.
“But they will be looking.” He says. “As for our situation… if you had not been in your pod, is there anywhere here that you would have gone, to keep yourself safe?”
“Yes.” Kara says, a little more confident. “There’s one place.”
~
“I… I hate him.”
“Who?” Kara wonders, but remembering all they’ve recently been through, she knows the answer right after she asks.
“Lex.” She corrects herself. “Yeah. I feel the same way.”
Brainy squeezes her hand again, this time tighter, stepping closer beside her as they continue walking.
“Everything I did was to keep you safe.” He says. “I was sworn to secrecy by one of the other versions of myself- the woman, who called herself the director of the DEO.”
“The one who looked like she could’ve been your sister.” Kara says. “I remember.”
“She told me this was the only way to make things right, that her universe was the closest to ours, and if I did not work with Lex, disaster would occur. Leviathan would win. I could not let that happen.”
“Of course.” Kara answers.
“I knew how much you would lose trust in me.” Brainy says. “But that was necessary. I only hoped that you would forgive me, once it was all over.”
Kara nods.
“I do.” She says. “If that counts for anything.”
“Certainly, in this situation.” He answers. “Thank you.”
Kara smiles at him, and he tentatively smiles back, before going on.
“Every step of the way, I hated working with him.” He says. “Every time he would threaten you, or make some derisive comment about us or any of our friends, I was only more determined to defeat Leviathan with him so that he could be stopped as well. But it had to be in that order. Until then…”
“You were inhibited.”
“Yes.” He agrees. “You see the cruel irony in this situation. But now, I have stopped Leviathan, nearly at the cost of my own life were it not for all of you, and Lex is…”
Kara squeezes his hand.
“Our friends can handle him.” She says. “I hope. But… how did you stop Leviathan? I wasn’t sure, J’onn and Alex said that they were fighting them, but they just vanished.”
“I bottled them, if you can believe it.” Brainy answers. “I uploaded the mortality code that Lex tasked me to get, and used a bottle I found in the DEO vault.”
“You say that as if we didn’t find you almost dead of radiation poisoning.” Kara tells him. “But, if there was any doubt you were good to your core, I think it’s gone now.” “Yes.” Brainy says. “It is.”
~
They come across a cave, when trying to find shelter.
Neither of them have kept track of time, in this place, but without the sun and cut off from any kind of knowledge, Kara and Querl are both tired, and decide to take the risk to rest.
But because this is the Phantom Zone, and no good things happen in such a place, the path inside the cave leads in two directions, so for the first time, they split apart to investigate each.
And when they reunite, Kara finds Querl trapped.
It doesn’t seem too serious at first- if Kara had her super-strength, she could easily break the crystal encasing one of Querl’s feet. And even without it, she still tries, but the crystal only grows in response.
“My great-grandfather discovered the Phantom Zone.” Kara says. “I don’t think he ever wrote anything about this.”
“Then we will have to keep trying.” Querl answers. “I believe in you.”
And however strong that belief is, it doesn’t free him. As much as Kara keeps looking for a solution, she can’t find anything. She so badly wants to help him, or do anything to make sure he’s safe- Rao knows he’s done much more of that for her, especially in recent days- but the crystal keeps growing over his body, and he’s even more trapped than they already are.
“How long do you think I have, Kara?” he asks, when the crystal has reached his waist.
She tries not to imagine him asking that question just before they found themselves here, when she and the others had found him in Leviathan’s headquarters, practically radiating from how much exposure he’d gotten.
Back then, at least, they’d found a solution. Alex had given him the boost to his system he’d needed to survive, and everything had been okay.
Here… Kara wishes she could analyze the material he’s stuck in, or shoot it with her heat vision (in a way that wouldn’t incinerate him, of course) or any number of things.
But it’s only a matter of time before there’s no more of him for the crystal to encase, and even before then, there would be no telling what else came to find them here.
Until then, however, they just… talk. Try to pass the time, however they can. They tell each other the meanings of their names, share stories of their childhoods on Krypton and Colu, anything works- except discussion of their present situation, and how little time they have left.
When the crystal comes up to Querl’s neck, he confesses that he loves her- that he always has.
For a moment, Kara wants to accept it, tell him that she loves him too.
But…
It feels off, somehow, and when she says “No.”, his expression gives him away.
“What have you done with Querl?”
“Kara Zor-El.” He says, image-inducing into a form she doesn’t know- a tall woman resembling Brainiac 8. “It took you long enough to figure it out.”
“You’re Brainy’s mother.”
~
“Hello, Kryptonian.” Says the woman- Brainiac 4, Kara realizes. “It was exhausting pretending to be civil to you.”
“How are you even here?” Kara asks.
Brainiac 4 waves her hand dismissively.
“It matters not.” She says. “I am here for my son. I had heard that he’d escaped to the twenty-first century, to avoid the plague that our relative had released, and was under the protection of Supergirl. Imagine my surprise when I learned he and Supergirl were in the Phantom Zone of all places together, just as my great-grandfather and yours had been two hundred years before your time. And, for that matter, that he had nearly died protecting you.”
“He did that because he’s a hero, and my friend.” Kara answers, wishing now more than ever for the sunlight, something to give her strength. Even without it, though, she could still deal with this woman. “What did you do with him? Where is he?”
“You think I would tell you that?”
“If you do, maybe I’ll think about letting you go. You’d still be trapped anyway.”
Brainiac 4 frowns.
“I suppose that’s your famous compassion.” She says. “But no matter. Have you forgotten that you are trapped in here as well? We are no better off than one another, Kara Zor-El.”
“That’s where you’re wrong. Our friends are coming to find us, and soon, you’ll be stuck here alone.”
Kara imagines it- Brainiac 4, watching as Kara and Brainy and their friends leave the Phantom Zone, trapped with only the Phantoms for company. She can’t pretend it doesn’t give her a tiny bit of happiness.
“You truly still believe that?” Brainiac 4 asks. “Look around you. The Phantom Zone has changed- the collision of the pocket dimensions from infinite earths… it would take a twelfth-level intellect to navigate such a place. And even if my son had not come with you, he and your friends would be ultimately helpless. They would be set upon by countless Phantoms, consumed by their worst fears, and this time there would be no Fort Rozz to pull you free.”
Kara didn’t like the sound of that, definitely. But just recently, hadn’t she believed in the entire world? She’d held out hope that they would disconnect themselves from the Obsidian North program, break themselves out of the digital world where their lives were being threatened. She’d hoped, too, that Brainy wasn’t truly under Lex’s control, and he had proved that. She could still trust her friends, that they could overcome anything, and they surely trusted that she and Brainy would stay alive, long enough for them to be rescued.
“I believe in them.” She says. “And in your son.”
“Are you sure that is wise?” Brainiac 4 asks. “How much has he told you, about his past before the Legion, about our family? Would you still trust him, if you knew that he was once a criminal, that he was arrested- even after the inhibitors were placed on him?”
“I would know that that wasn’t the whole story.” Kara tells her. “No matter what he did, he’s a Legionnaire now, and a Super-friend- and I still want to know where he is.”
“Of course you do.” Brainiac 4 states flatly, looking towards another pathway in the cave. “He is down that hallway; he’ll wake up soon. And as for you…” She gives Kara an evil smirk, and Kara does her best to return it with a glare. “We will meet again, Kryptonian.”
She leaves then, giving Kara an opportunity to run down the path, and soon take the real Brainy in her arms.
~
“So, you have finally met my mother.” Brainy says once he’s awake, fiddling with his Legion ring and not looking Kara in the eyes.
“Yeah.” Kara answers. “She pretended that she was you- and said we would meet again.”
“That sounds like her.” He tells her. “We should leave- help me up, please?”
Kara stands, and holds out a hand to him, helping him stand beside her, and soon they find themselves under what passes for sky in the Phantom Zone once again, doing their best to keep moving.
“What else did she say?” Brainy asks once they’re a good distance from the cave, eyes almost soft again as he looks at her. She’s always found it easy to talk with him, while they’ve known each other (recent events involving Lex Luthor aside) and yet it’s difficult now for her to form her answer.
“She… she said you loved me.” Kara tells him, without elaborating.
And he, in turn, doesn’t elaborate either- that, in this case, information gleaned from his ancestral memory... his mother was correct. He does love her, of course he does.
(It seems to be a constant, he thinks, as he recalls the memories he’s received from the other versions of himself- the one with the yellow boots, dancing with his Kara who wore a bright red headband with her costume, his female doppelganger getting married to a Kara with shorter hair, even the one who wore a jacket scribbled all over with equations fighting alongside his Kara who wore a different costume with a red ring. In every universe, the two of them were connected in some way, and that on its own was something to consider)
But that discussion can be saved for outside of the Phantom Zone, once everything can indeed be sorted out.
And besides, some inner voice taunts him, if you told her that was true, how would Kara be able to believe you now? She won’t trust anything coming from Fabala, even that.
Shut up, he thinks. We will talk about it later.
But later is something that literally does not exist yet, for the two of them.
All there is at the moment, is he and Kara, holding hands as they continue walking through the Phantom Zone, avoiding the phantoms that inhabit such a place and each grateful to the other that they are not alone.
“She also said you used to be a criminal.” Kara adds. “Even after you got your inhibitors. Is that true?”
He still doesn’t look at her, before he slowly nods.
“It is.” He confirms. “I… did not believe I had any kind of choice in that matter. On Colu, for thousands of years, to wear inhibitors is to be marked as someone untrustworthy, someone who must be restrained, and many of my ancestors have worn such a sign on their heads. And so, in keeping with that, when my father placed inhibitors on me at eight years old, I believed I too deserved them, and could not possibly become anything else. That is… until the Legion came to me, and asked if I would consider helping them.”
Kara smiles, squeezing his hand.
“What happened then?”
“It was not immediate. However, Mon-El was patient with me, and soon, I was in their headquarters, living in New National City, and I came across a museum- one that was dedicated to you. I learned about what you stood for, what you have done, and through your example, you gave me hope.”
He looks at her, smiling back, and then Kara feels it- the sunlight finally coming down on her.
“Do you feel that too?” she says, as he looks up, his green skin and blond hair illuminated.
“That’s our family.” He answers, and once they land, in a ship Kara doesn’t recognize, there’s no time wasted. Kara sees Kelly, Lena, M’gann, Nia, all present on the ship and looking overjoyed at her return, but Alex is the one she gets to first, and her arms anchor Kara as she finally hugs her sister again. Beside her, she can see J’onn hugging Brainy, and she can tell he’s smiling too, while the ship begins taking off for home.

Some #Only in Gotham posts because I’m stressed and this is my coping mechanism
Guys guys guys
So I was in Central City today visiting some friends earlier this morning, and then the city gets attacked by these... aliens? Weird reptillian cryptids?? Who knows, but they were not happy nor friendly. We were all at this nice cafe just vibing in the outdoor area when this bipedal, green-gray reptile thing pops out of the manhole outside the cafe and goes absolutely feral. He was super close to my group so I grab my croc repellant (for non gothamites, its’ basically pepper spray but really bad-smelling to ward off croc if he ever shows up) out in an instant and I sprayed it right in the face.
Then I grabbed the nearest thing—some poor old guy’s metal walking frame—and whacked the reptile in the back of the head and it crumpled basically instantly.
And after the JL had stepped in to deal with the rest of them (not many, from what I’ve heard, but better safe than sorry I guess), heaps of people were freaking out about it because, well, this is Central City, they don’t get this kind of crime, they’re not prepared for this, yada yada.
Then that manhole pops up and everyone freaks out again because “oh god they’re back” but it’s just Batman dragging a bunch of tied up reptiles out of the sewers using some kind of winch set-up. It was almost comical—a daisy chain of reptiles being lifted out of this manhole in Central City by our favourite Goth Cryptid.
The cops were completely floored. The civilians didn’t know whether to be more scared of Bats or the reptiles. I mean, it was literally the middle of the day, and it’s rare to see Batman in daytime in Gotham but I guess this was an extenuating circumstance, so I guess I see why they were scared.
Batman just looks down at me standing over an unconscious reptilian holding the can of croc repellant and he’s just like “I’m guessing you’re from Gotham.”
I was like “yeah. Can’t escape the damn cryptids wherever I am.”
And tHEN he LAUGHS. Like, it was a small and quiet snort but it happened and I’m still shook. I have officially joined the “I made Batman laugh” squad. I can ascend peacefully now.
He seemed super embarrassed but asked if my friends and I were okay before he turned on his heel and stalked over to Flash and Woner Woman, a daisy-chain of reptiles in tow.

I just heard this Metropolis guy try and trash Bruce Wayne to his friend at this diner and like five seperate people (myself included) turned around to roast the hell outta him. Like, yeah, he’s a billionaire, which is a whole can of worms I don’t wanna open right now, but he’s basically the only reason this city’s still standing and functioning (especially after the quakes and the no-man’s-land bs). His kids—most are poc and would not have thrived in the system—are all successful and work with their communities to better other people’s lives. Bruce Wayne is basically the only reason I got through high school (and am now in college); a scholarship is the only reason most of my friends have enough money to make rent. He “accidentally” spilled wine on Lex Luthor when he made a sexist remark. Also, didn’t it come out recently that he’s basically been funding the JL o at least is a major financial backer? An icon. You can shut your mouth, Jeremy.
One girl Instagram lived the whole exchange (she was filming beforehand I think) and it was magical.
Later on, Robin (the newest one, with the swords) shows up and he’s like “thank you for defending the honour of Mr Wayne”. I was like “kid,,,, you don’t need to thank me but you’re welcome”. he just kinda looks at me for a second and says “you eat free tonight” and chucks a bunch of dollar notes at me and disappears into the wilderness (ie. an alleyway). It was so surreal.

Yeah so....... I just saw some of Two-Face’s goons about to enter a bank, weapons drawn, and I’m scared because their boss is in Arkham, and the Rogues’ most loyal people always get antsy and trigger-happy when their bosses are off the board. I’d dialed 911 when I first saw them and ducked into an alley.
But then I see one of them stop dead in their tracks—Goon A we’ll call him—and says “hey, Wayne’s in there”.
Goon B: “Oh, we’re not meant to go after Wayne. Pack it in fellas.”
Goon C: “Huh? why not?”
Goon A: “Boss-man said so. Wayne used to be his best bud. Helped him campaign to be DA and stuff. Went to college together. Nice man.”
Goon B: “Got no problem wth that. Wayne’s the only reason my boys got through school. Besides, we mess with Wayne, the boss and Harley will be on our asses.”
Goon C: “Huh. Fair enough. We’ll go to the other location then.”
And then they just,,,, left.

Today I was in a Zoom call with some of my coworkers on the other side of the world, sitting in the kitchen facing the living room, when Red Robin comes crashing through my window. I just kinda turned around to see if he was badly injured (he wasn’t, couldn’t even see any blood) so I just continued on with what I was saying and he sheepishly left through the same window.
My coworkers are looking at me like “Jacob are you okay??” And I’m like, “yeah man, that was just Red Robin, he has unfortunate luck with windows. Soon enough one of the other Bats will come knocking with a replacement or a cash refund. Though, I should probably just invest in plexi-glass.”
One of my coworkers went on a bit of a rant about “vigilantes causing property damage and disrupting the peace” and i’m like “Mark I’d rather Batman crashing through my door or window once a month to getting buried in my twenties in his abscence,” and he was like “yeah, fair enough” so we just continued with our call.
After my call, Blonde Batgirl shows up and apologises for the window. I ask about plexi-glass and if Red Robin is alright.
She’s like “yeah he’s fine but he’s getting Bat-Lectured for being reckless which is why I’m here. Also from what Oracle can tell you should be able to get plex-glass installed within the week.”

So, Red Hood piggy-backed me up to my apartment yesterday because my heel broke when I was fleeing from these guys trying to mug me (or worse) and I sprained my ankle. He carried me up four flights of stairs and helped me get into my apartment and wrap my foot properly.
I told him to take some of my nana’s lasagna (because our local vigilante needs to keep his strength up! Man’s gotta eat, and from what I hear he’s not swimming in cash) and he got real quiet for a while before saying “yeah, sure”.
So he ate some lasagna while I called in sick to work (who were very understanding, surprisingly).
Then after a little while he’s like “bye” and jumps outta my window.
An icon.

Prompt: “I can’t do this. Just leave me alone.”
Read on AO3
"Goodnight, Kara." Lena said from across the room when she finally managed to catch Kara's eye.
It was the first time they had made eye contact since Kara had welcomed her inside at the start of the night. Kara startled at the sudden sight of Lena, waving farewell as she stepped quietly towards the door, but made no move to follow after her and when the door swung quietly shut behind her Lena knew things would never be the same.
It was Kara's birthday party (her Earth birthday party to those that happened to be in the know, which to Lena's un-surprise was a rather considerable group all things considered). Kara had invited her, further proof of the strength of their newly reaffirmed friendship. Lena had been grateful for the invite, appreciating it as the sign that they were back on the right track, and accepted it without hesitation.
She had then proceeded to spend hours upon hours thinking of the perfect gift for Kara, excitement and anticipation building in her stomach.
It would be her first proper night out in months after being thrown back into her role as CEO and dealing with all the negative press following Lex’s downfall and upcoming conviction. Her working hours had reached an excess that she had never achieved before. The blowback onto her in the form of hatred for the Luthors was even greater than last time as well, despite her crucial role in taking Lex down. She was still deemed guilty by association especially since she had been working closely with Lex for a long time before revelations about his villainy became apparent.
The news were critiquing her every move, slandering her every chance they got and rallying the masses to a fervour - she was now facing at least one assassination attempt every week.
Regardless of all that, Lena had one salvation, one light of hope that she clung onto. Her friendship with Kara. It was growing again. They were spending time together. Relearning one another or learning about each for the first time in Lena's case. The conversation was finally less stilted and the trust was back.
But there was still something missing, something stopping them from returning to exactly where they were before.
Lena, as the months ticked by, realised that they were no longer as physically close as they once were. Hugs were rare. Gentle touches of the hands were swiftly snatched back to prevent lingering. Even extended eye contact was fleeting.
Lena at first thought the problem was that she had hurt Kara so badly that the woman who sometimes communicated solely through physical affection no longer wanted to be touched by Lena. That broke something in Lena. That Kara, even though she was trying to be kind, friendly and forgiving to Lena, was not comfortable with any sort of physical contact between them, drove Lena into a drunken stupor of college-level proportions.
Once the alcohol was out of her system and she had suitably recovered from her hangover, Lena had allowed the scientist within her to take over.
No more assumptions.
She would gather evidence, make an hypothesis and work towards a solution.
If she wanted Kara back in her life properly - cuddles on the sofa and lengthy hugs a necessity of that - Lena would put the effort in.
So she observed… and what she observed was this…
Pink cheeks and bashful expressions whenever their gazes met.
A thick swallow and faltering breath whenever their hands brushed.
Deep sighs and fingers digging fleetingly into her back as if on the edge of pulling her closer whenever they embraced.
Dark eyes and teeth biting into a bottom lip whenever Lena stretched or moved her hair away from her neck.
Attraction, affection and interest .
Lena didn’t believe the results of her evidence; she re-ran the tests over and over again trying to work out if she had just interacted with Kara on an odd day, if she just happened to be thinking about something (someone) else at the same time but… it kept happening over and over again.
If it had been anyone else, Lena wouldn’t have doubted what she was seeing but… but.. This was Kara.
Kara, who she had been in love with since she had walked into her office with her cousin.
Kara, who had never picked up on or reacted to her flirts.
Kara, who had broken her heart with lies.
Kara, who meant so much to her.
Kara, who she had only just gotten back.
Was it worth the risk?
Fear had blinded her, of that she had no doubt, but was it keeping her safe from the hurtful truth of Kara not wanting to touch her anymore or from the potential happiness that Kara returned her feelings but was too sweet or shy to put herself in a position that would make Lena uncomfortable.
Lena decided to take a chance - just this once because even if she was wrong about Kara not feeling the same, she had to believe that Kara was incapable of being cruel to her if she misread it. They promised each other honesty and Lena intended to show it.
It was why she needed to buy the perfect present, something that hinted that Kara’s feelings (if Lena was right) were returned. And just a week before the party, she knew exactly what the perfect present would be.
She wrapped it personally (normally Jess would wrap any gifts she had to send out), wanting to go the extra mile. It wasn’t perfectly done, a bit messy in places and the sellotape was excessive but she had done it herself which she knew Kara would appreciate more than professional gift wrapping.
Lena, however, realised that she had made a mistake the second she arrived at Kara's.
Knew she had misread… everything …
Because Kara… Kara couldn't stand to be near her for longer than it took to say hello, accept the present and then disappear off.
Lena hadn’t expected to be with Kara for all of the party; it was Kara's party and loads of her friends were in attendance, all of whom wanted to spend it with Kara. Who wouldn't?
It's just… Lena…
Lena didn't have anyone else.
It was made abundantly clear to Lena within the first thirty seconds that she was not welcome. Alex gave her a gruff nod from across the room before turning her back to her - she still didn't trust her and Lena had prioritised winning Kara back over the last few months above everything else. Brainy and Nia smiled at her but they were deep in conversation with CatCo employees all of whom were practically snarling at Lena (clearly not Luthor fans). James was here as well and dear God did he give her such a blazing look of hatred Lena was surprised she didn't burst into flames under its ferocity. (They hadn’t dated in this rewritten universe, much to Lena’s pleasure, though his original dislike for her was clearly a mainstay of every universe).
So… Lena grabbed a drink and stood in the corner as Kara moved seamlessly between her various groups of friends and colleagues, never once sparing Lena even a glance. The majority of her movements were accompanied by William Dey, who repeatedly tried to sling an arm around Kara's shoulder - the only joy Lena got from the evening was watching Kara repeatedly squirm out from under his touch.
She held out for two hours, sipping three beers and glancing intermittently at her phone as she stayed in her corner, hoping that Kara would come over for just five minutes.
Five minutes with Kara wasn't too much to ask for, was it?
Five mere minutes with Kara would have made the whole night worth it, made the glares and malevolent whispers sent her way worth it.
It was at the two hour mark that Lena accepted the truth.
Kara wasn't going to come over to talk to her.
Kara hadn't been pulling away from her due to a sudden realisation of feelings and attraction.
Kara hadn't expected her to accept the invite. Hadn't wanted her to accept.
Kara was ashamed of her, that was why she pulled away, why she didn't acknowledge her.
Lena couldn't really blame her but that didn't mean she had to stay and take it. So gathering what was left of her dignity, she shuffled towards the door, caught Kara's eye, waved and slipped outside… though, not before retrieving the present she had brought for Kara… it would have revealed far too much and Lena didn't need to deal with that on top of everything else.
Lena returned to her office for no other reason that she still had some good liquor stored there - Kara had encouraged her a couple of months ago to cut back on her drinking and she couldn’t deny the baby blue puppy dog eyes. She staggered into her office, chucking the present she had spent hours creating onto the sofa - she would buy Kara some random meaningless gift like a nice scarf or jumper tomorrow instead - and poured herself a full tumbler before flipping open her laptop and getting to work. She lost herself in designs and business plans as she made her way through the bottle.
She used to sit and brood when she drank but Sam had made her promise she wouldn’t do that anymore, hazel eyes filled with concern at where Lena’s mind wandered when unoccupied and fuelled by alcohol. Whilst Lena was in a pretty bleak space, she refused to hurt her last (and only) friend by breaking the one promise she had made to her.
It must have been two am when Lena heard a familiar thud from the balcony followed by a gentle knock that could only belong to one person.
“Kara, to what do I owe the pleasure?” Lena called out, not bothering to lift her gaze away from her laptop screen - she wasn't sure whether the sight of Kara would evoke tears or fury and she wished to give Kara neither.
“Hey… I just wanted… I was…" Kara stammered out; Lena didn't need to see her to know that she was fidgeting with the edge of her cape as she tiptoed nervously closer. "You know… flying around and saw the light on and figured I would check in on you, see how you were doing…”
“I’m fine. Just working.” Lena replied brusquely taking a sip of her whiskey.
“And drinking…” Kara muttered, her tone more worried than disapproving but Lena took offense regardless.
“Yes. It’s a Saturday night, cut me some slack.” Lena snapped back, defiantly swallowing what was left in her glass before slamming it down onto her desk.
The loud clack as it connected with the surface was followed by a heavy, almost suffocating silence.
“You left early.” Kara whispered into the unnatural stillness, shattering the fraudulent focus Lena had on her computer screen with those three words. Kara didn't sound confused or upset, just painfully neutral as if to emotionally step back from the situation so that she could garner some emotional truth from the CEO instead.
Well, Lena was done with that, done with giving more of herself than Kara wanted so she took a deep, calming breath and allowed her painstakingly crafted mask to slip into place.
“I wasn’t the first to leave.” Lena pointed out calmly, finally turning to look at Kara, certain she could keep her voice and face blank. It was then that she saw how… small Kara looked, which was never a word Lena would have used to describe Kara in full Supergirl regalia in the entire time she had known her. Kara looked defeated and lost, a tremble to her lip and very being that she tried to hide behind a shy smile.
“Well… I didn’t get a chance to talk to you…” Kara replied, ducking her head meekly as she admitted. “I wanted to talk to you.”
Lena pursed her lips at that, “I was there for over two hours, Kara. You could have come over whenever you wanted. It wasn’t like I was occupied.”
“Yeah… what was that about?” Kara laughed, rubbing the back of her neck, trying far too hard to make her tone light as if even the idea of Lena being without company was an entirely absurd concept.
The high-pitch to Kara's laugh and the unfamiliar tension around her eyes revealed to Lena that Kara knew exactly why Lena had been standing all alone that evening.
“I’m a Luthor, Kara." Lena replied sharply, not interested in trying to smooth over the harsh truths like Kara was always so keen to do when it suited her. "No one wanted me there and they all made that very clear.”
“I wanted you there.” Kara replied so soft and earnest that Lena nearly believed her.
“I highly doubt that.” Lena scoffed derisively.
“I did.” Kara insisted, eyes desperate and pleading.
Lena merely shook her head, turning back to face her computer, “If you say so…”
“Lena, I-”
“Kara… I can’t…” Lena muttered, her voice cracking in the exact way she didn’t want it to. “I can’t do this. Just leave me alone.” Lena requested, hating how it verged on begging.
“What?” Kara murmured in shock.
“I can’t just… pretend that I’m not hurt or upset.” Lena confessed, fingers curling into fists on her desk, eyes slamming shut to lock in the tears. “I just need… time to get over it and accept what we are. So until then… please just leave me alone.”
“I hurt you.” Kara repeated, her voice broken and raw .
“Kara, I didn’t…” Lena shook her head angrily, she didn’t want to do this, didn’t want to inflict herself on Kara who had tried so hard to be her friend. “It's your birthday, Kara.” Lena sighed sadly, “You get to spend it anyway you like with whomever you like.”
“I wanted to spend it with you.” Kara breathed, and Lena could hear the sharp inhales between each word that revealed that Kara was crying.
“Kara, you don’t need to…” Lena assured, with a wave of her hand, eyes focused on her lap, “let’s just leave it, okay?”
“No…” Kara gasped, and suddenly Lena felt a trembling hand connect with her own tightly curled fists, “wait… what did you mean ‘get over it’ and ‘accept what we are’?”
Lena sucked in a sharp breath at the question, biting down harshly on her bottom lip.
“Lena?” Kara pressed.
“Fuck it, fine.” Lena snapped, yanking her hands away from Kara’s infinitely soft touch and shoving herself out of her chair before storming away from Kara, desperate for space. “I thought you liked me.”
“I do-” Kara began, taking a tentative step after her.
“No, Kara.” Lena yelled, spinning back to face Kara, with a twisted snarl of total self-loathing. “Liked me.” Lena stressed, before throwing her hands up into the air as it all just boiled out of her, “God, I sound like a teenager. I thought you liked me. I thought you were touching me less because you were attracted to me. But then… I go to your party and you don’t… it was like you were ashamed of me, I sat in that fucking corner for two hours as everyone wished - out loud, I should say - that I would go. I sat in that fucking corner in the hope that you would speak to me for five minutes. For just five minutes. Because that… that would have made it all worth it. But you could barely look at me. And I realised you didn’t - don’t - like me… you’re ashamed of me, but you’re too kind to abandon me. Too noble and generous but even you have your limits. Of course, you didn’t want to spend your birthday talking to me. Of course you didn’t.”
Lena wanted to punch a wall, wanted to down the rest of her whiskey, wanted to do literally anything than be here in this moment watching the horror-struck expression on Kara’s face grow and grow with every word, watch Kara’s body tremble and shake with each harsh sweeping gesture.
“Lena, no… you…” Kara sobbed, striding towards her with fingers twitching at her sides, “you have got the complete wrong end of the stick. Actually, you’re right but also really wrong. And…” Kara swiped aggressively at the tears rolling down her cheeks as she approached Lena, stopping when the raven-haired woman flinched at their sudden closeness. “I screwed up but-”
“No. You don’t need to do this.” Lena cut in, holding a hand up to stop Kara, wanting Kara to know that her guilt was unnecessary and that she could finally be free of Lena.
“Lena, I’m so-”
“You don’t need to apologise.” Lena insisted, taking a deep breath to rein back in her swirl of her emotions. She could do this. She could let Kara go. “You were trying to be kind but you shouldn’t… god, if I make you that miserable, that uncomfortable, you shouldn’t have to force yourself to interact with me.”
“LENA!” Kara bellowed, stamping her foot to the ground and lifting her chin to reveal a determined expression.
Lena blinked in shock at the sudden volume and intensity; falling obediently quiet.
Kara placed her hands on her hips, took a deep breath, looked Lena straight in the eye with earnest, beseeching blue and declared, “I want to kiss you right now because that would be the big sweeping action that would prove to you that I mean what I’m about to say next but… you’ve been drinking… heavily from the looks of things.” Kara shot a displeased pout at the nearly empty bottle of whiskey as if it was all the bottle’s fault for Lena’s current state of inebriation and not the youngest Luthor’s unhealthy coping mechanisms. Kara turned back to face a stunned Lena, with a fond smile, “And I really want our first kiss to be one you remember and one you can fully consent to. So, you’re just going to have to believe me… please, please believe me when I say… I’m in love with you and I fucked up massively tonight. Really, really fucked up.”
“You never swear.” Lena murmured quietly, and it probably wasn’t what she should have been focusing on but her brain was currently stuck like a record scratch unable to fully comprehend what Kara had just told her; and the swear was just the cherry on top of an entire sundae of confusing and out-of-the-blue revelations.
“Which shows how much I believe that I fucked up.” Kara replied with a helpless shrug.
“But-”
“You were the only person I wanted to spend my birthday with.” Kara confessed, “Well, Alex at some point as well. But you mostly. Alex planned the party and I couldn’t…” Kara huffed out a frustrated breath and rolled her eyes, “she did this whole thing and I didn’t want to turn around and say I didn’t want it. That all I really wanted was a quiet night watching films with you because…” Kara sighed, “because then she’d know… To make it more bearable I invited you but there were so many other people, and I will be honest… I don’t even like half of them. Alex, just invited everyone I was friends on facebook with which is not a good barometer of friendship.”
Lena cleared her throat, none of it making sense, “Then why-”
“Did I ignore you?” Kara guessed with a painful wince.
“Yeah…” Lena muttered, wrapping her arms protectively around herself.
“Because… because I knew, or at least I thought I knew, that you hadn’t noticed how I felt about you.” Kara explained inching just that little bit closer towards Lena, attempting to bring them within touching distance of one another. “And I knew it was only a miracle that you hadn’t until now because…” Kara smiled a lopsided, rueful and self-deprecating smile, “Lena, I am not subtle. Not at all. And I knew… I knew if I interacted with you at the party… everyone else would be able to tell in an instant how I felt.”
Lena exhaled slow and deep, arms tightening their hold around herself, “And you didn’t want them knowing you liked me?”
“Love. Not like.” Kara corrected, patient yet firm, “Love. And no, I didn’t.”
Lena nodded once in understanding, letting out a hollow laugh, “I get it. I wouldn’t want anyone to know I loved me either.”
“Lena… no… no… you…” Kara rushed to explain, finally stepping close enough to reach out and place her hands gently on Lena’s curled biceps. Lena couldn’t help how she instinctively shifted closer, wanting to increase contact with Kara after being denied it for so long. “I didn’t want anyone knowing before you.” Kara admitted.
And that… that snapped something back into place for Lena.
Made the doubts screaming inside her head quieten down just enough to think… maybe…
Because… it was being last that had broken them the first time. Being the only one not to know and now…
“I didn’t want Stacy, who used to cheat off me in exams in college to know how I felt about you before you did.” Kara said, thumbs moving back and forth against the bare skin of Lena’s arms causing a swathe of goosebumps to rise like a wave in the wake of Kara’s every touch. “They didn’t deserve that. They didn’t deserve…” Kara’s jaw clenched, eyes darkening as she studied Lena’s face, “I was trying to protect you from them. They said horrible things about you and you should know, the minute after you left, I kicked everyone who so much as looked at you funny out. It was just me, Nia, Brainy and Kelly left… Alex, as well, but we had a rather heated argument before she was allowed to stay.” Kara bowed her head in shame, “I should have kicked them all out immediately but-”
“Then they would have known.” Lena finished for her.
“I had this whole thing planned.” Kara breathed out, her hands gradually shifting away from Lena’s arms around to her back, surrounding Lena in a loose hold, Kara’s eyes flickering over Lena’s face and body rapidly searching for even the slightest sign that Lena was uncomfortable with their contact. “Once everyone left, I had set-up the roof with lights and cushions and… I was going to tell you how I felt. I just had to make it through the birthday party from hell and I was trying so hard to keep to the plan. To not spoil it. To keep it a secret so that it could just be ours but... I…” Kara’s eyes slid shut and she inhaled a shuddering breath filled with pain. “I hurt you. And there is nothing I can say to make you forgive me, but I do… I do love you so much. And I will never, ever be ashamed of you.” Kara blinked her eyes back open and leaned forward to place a kiss on Lena’s forehead. “I just wanted it to be ours and not theirs. I didn’t want to share. You’re the only thing in my life that… I didn’t want to share.”
“Open your present.” Lena demanded, stepping out of Kara’s loving embrace.
“Lena-” Kara whimpered, pained at the sudden loss of closeness.
“Open your present, Kara.” Lena repeated, jerking her chin towards the sofa where the roughly wrapped present lay.
“I… okay…” Kara replied, watching Lena closely as she tried to make sense of Lena’s clear request. Kara walked cautiously over to the couch, picking up the gift with gentle hands. “Did you wrap it yourself?” Kara asked, her entire expression brightening as she stared down at the crooked, over sellotaped wrapping.
Lena harrumphed at the question, pursing her lips.
“You did, didn’t you?” Kara teased.
“The present isn’t the piss poor wrapping.” Lena replied with an exaggerated roll of her eyes that had the corners of Kara’s lips quirking even further upwards.
“Lena Luthor wrapped my present herself…", Kara whistled in awe, blue eyes twinkling with true delight for the first time that day, "what better gift is there?”
“Open it and you might find one.” Lena said, heart leaping into her throat as Kara’s deft fingers found a line of wrapping paper she could tuck them under.
The sound of paper ripping was deafening in the stillness; all Lena could do was watch and wait.
The paper fell away leaving behind a small black box, Kara shot Lena a hesitant look and it wasn’t until Lena nodded for her to continue that Kara clicked it open.
There was a pause.
A heavy, endless pause in which Lena couldn’t bring herself to even breathe.
“What is-” Kara began before cutting off immediately as she lifted up the beautiful bracelet made of nth metal and inscribed with ‘stronger together’ in Lena’s own cursive handwriting in both english and kryptonian.
The bracelet shined under the lights in Lena’s office, but in Lena’s opinion, Kara’s eyes shined impossibly brighter.
“You’re in love with me.” Kara whispered, seeing the present for everything Lena had hoped it would convey.
“Yes.” Lena confirmed because there was no hiding it now.
With trembling fingers Kara clasped the bracelet onto her wrist, long fingers tracing the words delicately inscribed with no small amount of wonder. Finally, she turned around and stared at Lena with so much sheer love that the youngest Luthor felt overwhelmed and like her heart might burst right out of her chest in its desire to be in Kara’s possession
Clearing her throat and clasping her hands behind her back, Lena gathered her courage and asked, “If I promise you I’ll remember it and that I am fully consenting… will you kiss me now?”
Kara was in front of her in the literal blink of the eye, hands reaching out to cup Lena’s cheeks as Lena’s hands moved to rest on Kara’s hips gently encouraging their bodies closer with a light tug.
“There is nothing I want more.” Kara assured with the widest grin that Lena had ever seen and couldn’t help but return.
Their first kiss could barely count as a kiss.
Their smiles were too wide to allow for it, but Lena wouldn’t change it even slightly. They pressed their smiles against one another, teeth knocking together and noses brushing.
It may not have been a successful kiss but it was tender and filled with so much joy that Lena wouldn’t describe it as anything less than perfect.
Their second kiss was an actual kiss, lips slotting together, tongues seeking each other out and teeth tugging whimpers and moans from one another in an endless cycle.
Their second kiss turned into a third, a fourth, a fifth.
They kissed until the sun rose.
Kissed until their lips ached and any remaining doubts Lena may have had were pushed back into the shadows by the light of Kara’s smile and blue eyes.

Okay hatchetfield zombie apocalypse au bc why not ("but tgwdlm is a zombie apocalypse" shh no that's an alien musical apotheosis and also this is won't be the exact same as tgwdlm)
This ended up being way longer than I thought it would and also kinda ramblely (is that a word??) oops. So read the rest under the cut
Okay this takes place in 2019
Emma and Paul are together, emam ofc suggests they going to her cooky reclusive biology professor
This isn't the apocalypse Henry excepted and he doesn't like that, but hey he still prepped for an apocalypse so he's safe
Since this isn't a musical apocalypse and it'd probably be pretty hard to get money off of someone during a zombie apocalypse, so he's currently not trying to murder anyone
He let's Emma and Paul stay with him
But then Emma is like "hey you have room do you think my nephew, brother in law and his gf could stay with us? The gf's a nurse she could be helpful!!"
He eventually agrees
Then Paul's like "hey my coworkers are kid dumb asses there's know way they're surviving an apocalypse on their own can they stay with us? And also one of them has daughter and the other has a little brother (cough cough HCB) them too?"
And then Hidgens ends up agreeing to that, and then Alice and HCB are ofc both like "wait hold on our friends-" (ie: Deb, Ziggs, Grace Chasity (this would be HCB's friends not Alice's ofc), Cineplex kid (because I said so) Ethan (also Tony, my beloved) Lex and Hannah (once again, because I said so, do we seem them interact? No, but they're friends now)
And Hidgens at this point is like "well fucking fine I guess so! Bring em here we have a bunch of ppl already so why not!!"
All of these people, living under one roof (albeit a very big roof) is ofc chaos!
I'd imagine ppl kinda stay in groups a bit tho. Like the teens stay with each other for the most part. CCRP gang hangs out together most. Ect.
Still, very chaotic. The teens (really mostly Deb, Ethan and Lex) causing plenty of trouble. The adults all being dumb asses. Plenty of arguments between Bill and Ted ofc. And probably several arguments between the nerdy prudes (grace, hcb and cineplex) and the other teens. Probably one fight between Alice and Ziggs but it gets settled quickly and they figure everything out and clear the air and become good friends.
I mean you think this amount of ppl, particularly this certain group of ppl, are going to be well organized durning the apocalypse? Hell no!
Hidgens is the only one that actually understands shit about apocalypse, he's the one who prepared! (once again: although for the wrong one) so he's constantly having to be like "no we can't do that that's dangerous!!" Emma, Alice and Lex are the only other really competent ones.
Hidgens ofc spends his time trying to find a cure, Emma helps him. If life ever goes back to normal she has an automatic A in his class for the rest of college just for going through this shit and helping him.
Tom, Bill, and Tony are the dads. They're obviously dealing with the kids. But the do mainly try and focus on their own kid because... That their kid ofc they care about them the most. But they try to take care of the other kids too.
Bill has a rough time connecting with anyone besides Alice. But Grace was always nice to him church so there's that. And ofc Alice has gf, a gf he doesn't like a ton but now he's very much stuck with so he might as well try and get along with. They eventually do.
Tom ofc like I said cares most about Tim. But after him the next he cares most about are CaliforMIA gang. Lex and Ethan were his students (I know it's not confirmed that Ethan was one of students but he is now bc I want him to be), probably his favorite students, and that Lex's little sister who's only a few years older than Tim, ofc he's also gonna care a lot about them.
Tony also cares alot about Lex and Hannah, that's his son's gf and her little sister, once again, ofc he'll care about them alot too.
Becky absolutely cares about all the kids a ton!! She's a nurse who works with kids, she's very nurturing and mother like. She cares for and about them all fairly equally but Tim is her favorite because... Well that's her bf's son and she's known him the longest out of any of the kids ofc. Lex and Hannah end up loving Becky alot because she's so much kinder and sweet than their biological mother.
Before the apocalypse Ted took care of HCB, now he's still taking care of him ofc. Ted doesn't want to be taking care of any of the kids besides his brother. He wants to drink and party and stuff. I mean it's the apocalypse so why not? But he ends up taking care of Grace and Cineplex quite a bit too. This happens not bc others aren't taking care of them, they are being taken by the other plenty well (like I said the dads and Becky all care for all the kids they just have favorites) but because they see HCB going to Ted for almost everything and Ted doing stuff for/helping out HCB so they're like "well okay guess we'll go to him too" He's not happy about it. He already has to deal with his obnoxious little nerdy prude bother and now there's two more? But part of them reminds him a lot of himself when he was younger. Maybe that's why he doesn't like them, or also maybe that's why secretly likes them a ton?
Hidgens, Emma, Ted, Tom and Lex are the ones that go out most often because they're the only who are really able to fight off the zombies and stay safe a stuff (okay Ted not so much as the others but they bring him anwyay cause Henry's like "he looks like he can use gun or something" and Emma, Paul, Bill and Charlotte are all like "this is a horrible idea don't bring him" but they do anwyay. He doesn't kill any of the others so hey why not keep bringing him? Besides if something goes wrong they can use him as bait or throw him to the zombies to get them off the rest of the group /hj)
Other ppl in Hatchetfield exist of course and are out they're trying to survive. Sam and Pamela are some of the first to die that's karma bitch
Lex and Hannah were living with Pamela ofc when the apocalypse hit, the girls wanted to go somewhere safer but Pam wouldn't let them, then one day she went out and got turned into a Zombie, the girls quickly took that as their chance to escape and they went to Tony and Ethan and then ofc ended up at Hidgens'
Charlotte was with Sam before he turned into a Zombie and then when he did she ran to Ted & HCB and stayed with them before they ended up at Hidgens'
Gary and MIAH are together and trying to survive on they're own. Sylvia, Melissa, and Greenpeace Girl end up meeting each other and decide to gang up together and they're badasses. Dan and Donna are two focused on the news and finding out if Peanuts is surving (which yes, Peanuts, (as well as Papa Ed.. At least for a while) are doing fine) and they die pretty quickly. Holloway and Duke are doing great, Holloway's a witch so yeah she's good and ofc Duke is with her so he's good too.
Lucy is in Hatchetfield and she's already in the woods vibing with Chumby before the apocalypse hits (THAM doesn't happen in this universe and instead Lucy ends up finding Chumby own her own because uh??? Reasons??? Idk bc I said so) the two of them have no idea there's a zombie apocalypse. The Paul clones take this apocalypse as they're chance to escape, Paul23 leading the uprising ofc, they don't kill Paul and take his place tho, instead it's more like "there's a zombie apocalypse? Oh fuck yeah!" *escapes* "oh theres a zombie apocalypse oh no-" some try to stay in a group and live together, some try to go out their own. There's now a bunch of random Pauls and Paul zombies around town. The main gang do end up seeing the clones and they're all just kind like "uhhh wtf???" except Paul, he's absolutely freaking out, the clones kinda are just "uhh haha how do we explain this".
Spoiler alert: the world isn't destroyed. How? Not totally sure yet but probably through Hidgens managing to find a cure and time travel. Emdriod has traveled back in time to replace Emma, but oopsie she didn't travel back far enough so she can't kill Emma in Guatemala, so she goes to Hatchetfield in hopes she can kill Emma when no ones looking and just replace her then, but oh no there's apocalypse so thats a much bigger issue. She survives easily, she's strong af, doesn't need food, all that jazz. She and Emma do meet each other and it's another "wtf?" "how do I explain this?" situation. But Emdriod lies ofc and kinda explains what happened but said that she accidentally time travelled and leaves out the whole wanted to kill her part. Now the Emdriod has found Emma she does try to kill her, that's awfully hard to do tho considering Emma is literally always with a group of people, and Emdriod doesn't want to just kill Emma right in front of everyone bc then they'll all hate her and her goal isn't to just kill Emma it's too replace her. She end up giving up and she runs into Paul 23 and they bond of my doubles of someone and wanted to kill that somoen at first and then fall in love and kill zombies together :)
Ohh uhh other ships: Paulkins, Lexthan, Barneston, Potseed (Alice x Deb) ofc. Charted, Obnoxious Teens (HCB x Cineplex Kid) oh and ofc Holloduke. Uhh Bill x being okay for once, Ted x probably not dying for once (not too sure about that one yet) Hidgens x not actually trying to murder someone for once
Wait wait I just got idea: the zombie apocalypse occurs BECAUSE of Hidgens, he tries too bring back the working boys (remember his original backstory with accidentally killing them and stuff??)
Okay I think that's all I got for now

a writing prompt maybe? A Lilo and Stitch AU where Hannah is Lilo, Lex is Nani, and Ethan is David and then Wiggly is Stitch and Hannah's trying to teach him to be good.
Ok, I feel where you're coming from and I love it! This is so cute! I'm gonna be a bit flexible with it though, stray a bit from the strict Lilo and Stitch story. It's gonna be similar, but differ a bit.
Genre: Fluff/ Comedy
Words: 1966
TL;DR: When Hannah said she wanted a pet, Lex thought she would end up with dog or a rabbit like a normal person... not an eldritch.
TW: Swearing, mention of sexual themes? I don't know how to label it but you'll know it when you see it.
______________________________________________________
"No, Wiggly!" Hannah chided. "Stop! You got to be good, otherwise Lexie isn't gonna let me keep you!"
If Lex knew half of what was going on, Wiggly would be back to the pound in before you could say "eldritch". She had told Ethan to take Hannah out to get her a dog at the shelter. Duke had said maybe giving her another friend at home would help her to be a bit less hostile towards the kids at her school. Not that she was physically aggressive, but... ever since their mom had been sent to prison, apparently she'd been a bit snippy and reserved. It concerned her teachers. While Lex was technically old enough to be her legal guardian, Hannah's teachers were concerned that maybe she wasn't emotionally ready for that kind of responsibility. They were about ready to file a case for Hannah to be put into the foster system.
So... this was a desperate last attempt on Lex's part. Because she was *not* losing her little sister. She'd been through so much shit to get her mom out of the house. So that they would be safe. She wasn't letting anyone take that away. So... even though she may not really have the money to support Hannah *and* a dog, she'd agreed to let Hannah get one. There were very few people that Lex would trust on these matters, but... Duke was one of them. He knew the system. Mostly because he was a part of it. But he also knew Lex, and he knew that she was the right person to be caring for Hannah. So... if he thought that this was going to help, she'd do it.
But... she probably should have gone with Hannah herself to get it. Because Ethan... was not the brightest, and he was prone to completely crumbling for Hannah. Which is precisely what had happened at the pet store that afternoon. He'd suggested a cute little chihuahua with a limp paw, or a sweet maltese, but... Hannah had gone right for the weird, green thing. Was it even a dog? Probably not. It had tentacles and it walked on two legs. Had the people at the shelter called it a dog anyways? Yes. Because what else were they supposed to call it? The only indication they'd gotten as to what he was was a small collar reading 'Wiggly'- which didn't help at all. Look, they'd just found it curled up behind Toy Zone one night, and it was their duty to care for him and then get him to a family.
Things had not been easy for Hannah so far. It seemed her little green friend had a thing for getting into trouble... and tastes for household furniture. He'd already eaten two of her books and one of her sock dolls. Right now, she was trying to get him to stop eating one of her pillows. He seemed to revel in tearing his prey apart before eating it. His eyes got all wild, and... he looked so happy that Hannah almost didn't want to stop him. But she had to, because if he destroyed anything noticeable he'd be gone. And Webby had told her that she needed to pick this little guy. He seemed to make 'hr' sound in disappointment. But what came next was far from anything Hannah would have expected him to do.
"But Banana... it's so yummy-wum!" A goofy, light and child-like singsong tenor voice protested.
"You talk." Hannah breathed, eyes widening.
"Only to you, Hannah Banana." Wiggly giggled. "You are the only person who can hear my voice."
"Is that why Webby told me to get you?" Hannah asked, curious. He seemed to scowl at the mention of her name.
"Stupid bitch... thinks I need to rehabilitate." Wiggly grumbled.
"What's rehabilitate?" Hannah asked.
"It means... I've been very naughty." Wiggly told her. Hannah cringed at that.
"Don't... Mom..." Hannah mumbled.
"I've been bad." Wiggly corrected himself. "So she sent me to you. She thinks you can make me good."
"Me?" Hannah blinked.
"She says we'll be good for each other." Wiggly mocked her, clearly not happy about it. "She wants me to be your fwendy-wend. Because we both need a fwendy-wend, according to her."
"I don't *need* any friends." Hannah shook her head, her mood dampened by that implication. "I got Lexie and E."
"That's not what the teachy-weachers think." Wiggly cooed, the tiniest hint of amusement in his tone.
"Yeah, well... they're dumb!" Hannah fumed, turning on her bed and putting a pillow over head in frustration. That was a sore subject for her.
Hannah knew what the teachers thought of her. She knew what everyone thought. She didn't care. She knew who she was, and... she knew what she needed. She knew that she shouldn't have to put up with the shit the kids at her school gave her. She knew that they chose her because she was the easy target. Because they could get away with blaming her for anything. She was that girl from the trailer at the edge of the Witchwood, whose mom had gone to jail. That was enough for them to paint her as the punk. But that wasn't who she was, and... she hated that it's what people thought. She didn't even do anything wrong. She never said the things they said she did. She took a few deep breaths under the pillows, trying to calm down.
"That pillow-willow isn't going to help, Banana." Wiggly sighed. "My voice is in your head. "Like Webby."
"Leave me alone!" Hannah snapped.
"Nuh uh..." Wiggly tutted. "Webby says I have to help you be happy again before I can go back to my homey-wome."
"Yeah? You're not doing a very good job!" Hannah huffed. "Don't wanna talk right now."
"But Webby says-" Wiggly started.
"Webby can be a stupid bitch!" Hannah cut him off, frustrated to the point of tears.
"Uh oh! That's not very nice!" Wiggly chided.
"Just... shut up!" Hannah groaned.
"Fine." Wiggly sighed.
He sat on the edge of her bed for a minute as Hannah remained unmoving, trying to cool off. He dangled his feet for a moment before hopping off and walking over to a bookshelf. He tipped it over, letting everything crash and giggling. He surveyed the ruins, grabbing a small clay structure. He started to nibble on it softly, satisfied with it's taste. At around that precise moment, Lex entered the room. She was immediately drawn to Hannah on the bed. Her brows furrowed, and she sat down on the edge of it, rubbing Hannah's back. She was more confused than anything. Ethan had said she was so happy after getting her dog.
"Hannah Banana... what's wrong?" Lex cooed.
"Nothing... just annoyed." Hannah sighed, pulling the pillow off her head and setting it on the bed. "Teachers think I'm bad 'cause of Mom, don't they?"
"Yeah... yeah, Mom kinda gave us a bad rep." Lex sighed. "We gotta fight hard to make people see we're not her."
"Yeah, but... I don't wanna fight." Hannah grumbled.
"I don't either." Lex admitted. "Soon... we won't need to. Soon we'll have California. We just gotta stick it out and make it through life here until I make enough money to get us out of here."
"Okay." Hannah nodded, biting her lip, staying put.
Lex sighed, looking down at her feet. Sometimes he just didn't know what to say to Hannah. It was then that she noticed Wiggly crunching on the little clay figurine, surrounded by the mess of everything Wiggly had broken. It was one of a dog that Hannah had made at a birthday party when she was younger. She'd named him Bruno. He wasn't so special to *Hannah* anymore, but... it was to Lex. Wiggly and Lex looked each other in the eye for a moment, and Wiggly seemed to freeze, already knowing he was in trouble. Lex's eyes widened both in fear and in shock.
"Hannah... what the fuck is that thing?" Lex tried to ask levelly, but her tone was shaky.
"Oh, that's Wiggly." Hannah shrugged, sitting up. "He's our new dog."
"Banana... that's not a dog." Lex chuckled nervously. "It has fucking tentacles..."
"He's cute!" Hannah giggled. And she genuinely believed that, even if it was a jab at Wiggly. She knew he wouldn't want to be seen as cute. He grumbled at that and she stuck her tongue out at him discreetly.
"Okay... I think we may need to take Wiggly back to the pound." Lex tried to ease gently. "I... don't even fucking know where to begin taking care of him, and clearly you don't either because he's eating Bruno. I mean... look what he did, Banana! Look at your stuff!"
"Wiggly! I told you to stop eating stuff!" Hannah chided.
"Sorry, Banana! I'm just so hungry!" Wiggly whined. "I need to fill my belly-well!"
"Okay... the little noises are cute." Lex chuckled softly. Hannah blinked, confused, before remembering that Lex couldn't hear him. "You can't just tell an animal to do something. You gotta train it."
"Oh." Hannah blinked. "I think... think he's hungry."
"Yeah... we gotta get him some real food." Lex agreed. "Do you know what he eats?"
"Um..." Hannah bit her lip. She gave him a look. He shrugged. She turned to Lex, shrugging. "Clay?"
"This is yummy." Wiggly nodded.
"We can't feed him clay, banana... I don't think anyone can digest it right." Lex laughed. "This is why we should go get a dog! Let the people at the pound deal with this freak of nature!"
"Well that wasn't very friendly!" Wiggly pouted.
"Webby told me this one." Hannah insisted, ignoring Wiggly.
"Really?" Lex groaned, rolling her eyes.
"I dunno why! Said... said we gotta help him get good." Hannah shrugged. "But... Webby said it, so we gotta."
"Maybe... maybe Webby can find someone else to help him get good?" Lex sighed. "Banana, this isn't Disney. We're not Lilo and Stitch."
"Nani." Hannah corrected. "Lilo and Nani. And Ethan's David."
"No, banana. We're not." Lex sighed, shaking her head. "We're Lexie and Hannah and E. And Lexie is already having enough trouble with child services *without* that thing around. I don't know what it is, and I get the feeling that no one does. I don't think he's from around here, banana. We should leave him to be taken care of by someone who knows how to do it right."
"But Webby told me!" Hannah pouted. "Please! Just a week."
"Just a..." Lex muttered, sighing again. She bit her lip. She knew she would be insane to give in. But... she'd also be insane not to. Clearly Hannah was emotionally attached to this. And hey, at the end of the week, she could take the thing back. "Fine. Fine, we can keep him for a week and see how it goes. But if you can't train him to behave in a week, then he goes back to the pound. Deal?"
"Deal!" Hannah beamed. She smirked at Wiggly. "Welcome to the family!"
Wiggly rolled his eyes, putting on the most obviously fake 'smile' Hannah had ever seen on a pet. Clearly, he didn't think he was all that bad. But Webby had thought he needed the help, and Webby was usually right about these things. So whether he wanted to or not, it was now hannah's mission to make him good. She didn't know the half of what she was getting into, or what the week ahead would entail. But neither did Wiggly. Wiggly didn't know the half of what life on earth could do to you. And maybe, just maybe, that was a good thing. Because people can find the most beautiful things right where they least expect them to be.

uhh this comes with a mild trigger warning for implied/referenced character deaths & implied panic attacks. but otherwise it's just your average everyday run of the mill comfort & angst :) thank you for sending one! 😊💜
6. jolting awake after a nightmare and being comforted
50 cliche tropes and prompts!
Being alive again was a lot weirder than Alex had expected it to be. Which was weird in itself because if he really thought about it they’d technically been something other longer then they’d been alive the first time. Or even ghosts.
Were they ghosts while they were in the dark room? Were they human? They weren’t alive. But they weren’t….anything else either. What even was the dark room? God it had been 4 years and Alex still had so many unanswered questions, and he’d gained even more when one morning they’d woken up and found they had heart beats again.
Which had only created even more questions when it had happened to Willie as well. Hearts beating, needing to eat, to sleep, to figure out how to use a touch screen.
It was weird.
Sleeping was the weirdest part though. Alex had put it off for as long as he could. And he hadn’t been able to explain why at first. What he was afraid of. Before, he’d loved sleeping. Maybe not as much as Reggie or Luke, but he’d like the time when he could shut his brain up and forget about stuff for a while.
He understands 3 days after the heartbeats and Julie pushes him down on the sofa, throws a blanket over him and tells him to sleep what he’s afraid of.
In his dreams he’s back in the dark room. He can see Luke and Reggie but he can’t get to them. It’s like he’s trapped in an invisible box and no matter how hard he bangs on the glass or calls their names they can’t hear him. Can’t see him. He’s trapped and he’s alone.
He startles awake after that first nightmare in the dark of the Molina's living room and panics, fingers fumbling for the lamp, for a light, breaths rasping as he tries to remember where he is. When he asks to keep a light on at night Luke and Reggie don’t question it, don’t judge him, and he wonders if maybe they’re a little afraid of the dark now too.
They don’t mean to fall asleep. Willie had come over to help them fold paper into flowers to stick on a sign for their gig later that week. Reggie had gone off to help Carlos with homework and then Julie and Luke had started tossing lyrics at each other before finally leaving to actually write them down and it had left Alex and Willie alone in the garage. Somewhere between talking about the show and laughing about Alex’s terrible attempt at braiding Willie's hair they must have fallen asleep.
The dark room is always the same but the things happening in it change from dream to dream. Sometimes he’s alone. Sometimes it’s his parents, staring at him as he calls for help and doing nothing. Sometimes Luke and Reggie are so close it’s almost like he can touch them, but every time he tries they get further away. Sometimes Julie is there, holding Carlos’ still body and crying and asking for help and he can’t get to her. Sometimes it’s Caleb standing over Willie again, like at that finale fight, threatening him and Alex is frozen in place.
It doesn’t matter who’s in the room with him, Alex can never help them. He’s always stuck in his invisible case with no way out.
Alex wakes with a gasp, hands scrambling for purchase on something, trying to find the lamp that’s normally by his bed. But he’s no in his bed, he’s on the sofa in the garage and the room is dark and he feels like he can’t breathe.
“Alex?” A groggy voice comes from the darkness to his left, and Alex knows in the back of his head that it’s Willie’s voice. But the rest of him is still stuck in the dark room, watching as Luke stands over Julie and Reggie and Willie, trying to protect them as Caleb walks closer. He’d started banging on the invisible barrier until his hands bled, screaming until his throat felt raw. But nothing he’d done had helped. And then Caleb had turned and looked at him, just once, before he’d woken up.
“Alex?” the voice says again, a little clearer and a little closer. Alex tries to suck in a breath, but his lungs feel stuck and he can’t quite focus on anything.
“Li—light,” he manages to choke out and he feels the sofa dip and move, and then there’s spots of light illuminating the ceiling as Willie turns on the fairy lights above them.
“Hey, how can I help?” Willie asks, and Alex can see him now. Can see him crouching in front of him, warm eyes searching his face and hands hovering over his knees, like Willie is unsure if it’s okay for him to touch him.
Alex shakes his head, and tries again to take in a deep breath but can’t. He can’t breathe.
“Okay hey ‘lex. Breathe with me okay, in out, in out,” Willie says, seeming to decide grabbing his hands is better then not. Alex focuses his eyes on Willie’s, on the way he’s clearly exaggerating his breathing to help him.
And he feels such a surge of love for the other man that a shuddering breath leaves his lips and tears springing to his eyes.
“I couldn’t—“ he starts, voice rough and he swallows before trying again, words coming out in a whisper, “I couldn’t help any of you.”
“It was just a dream, Alex. We’re safe. I’m right here,” Willie whispers back, eyes still his even as he moves one of Alex's hands from where he’s clutching at his shorts to rest over his heart, where Alex can feel the thud-thud-thud of it beating.
“You’re safe,” Alex repeats, “You’re all okay.”
Willie nods at him with a soft smile, let’s him repeat the words as many times as he needs to as his breathing returns to normal.
“You wanna talk about it?” Willie asks gently and for a moment Alex doesn’t know. He’s only ever told the boys and Julie little bits of his dreams, he doesn’t know if telling someone everything would even help.
“Maybe— maybe later?” It comes out as more of a question then he intends it too but Willie just squeezes his hand.
“Okay. That’s okay. Do you want to go in the house?”
Alex bites his lip and shakes his head, tugging at the hand Willie is still holding over his heart and nodding back towards the space next to him.
“Can you just… will you just hold me?” he asks quietly, feeling suddenly shy.
Willies' answering smile is bright, eyes gentle as he nods and gets up without letting go of his hand. There’s some awkward shuffling and stilted giggles before Willie wraps himself around Alex’s back, chin hooking over his shoulder and whispering in his ear, “Always happy to be the big spoon.”

💧 what goes around comes back around to you 🔪
Feelz!Wiblur & reader x dream, FEELZ AU!!! Credit to @gamerboykarl for her absolutely amazing fanfic feelz it’s so so so good please read it!! I was given permission by Lex to make a mini AU fic
Tumblr media
Word count: 1238
Summery: Feelz!Wilbur pushes (Y/n) to her boiling point and gets to see how intense SHE can be.
Warnings: swearing, mentions of blood and violence, aggressive name calling, and just a more mature fic. There’s also blood in the video down below!!! Animated only!!!!
Gifs are from perfect blue and Kakegurui
Pronouns: she/her, (same as the og fic)
•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~
Wilbur hadn’t gotten any better than before. If anything was only getting worse and worse.
He can’t even leave (Y/n) alone to do her own fucking shit for even a god damn minute!! She feels lucky she can still go to the bathroom alone for a few minutes a day.
To think she genuinely thought this could work again, how stupid (Y/n) feels can’t even be expressed. But now that’s not something to focus on, right now the plan is just to finally get up and completely leave.
She talked to another friend and would be staying at her house until (Y/n)‘s flight to Florida. Not willing to put up with Wilbur for another fucking night of she might loose it.
When Wilbur was busy streaming that was the perfect time to be packing her shit up. Knowing he’d be busy for a few hours (Y/n) took a bit of time to have a bath.
God. How much Wilbur absolutely infuriated (Y/n) before she was actually captivated by him. Wilbur was a handsome, seemingly sweet, caring, dorky man. But as with a lot of creeps, his darkness was hell hidden from the public.
(Y/n) took a deep breath in before putting her head a little but beneath the warm water. She let out a few muffled screams out into the water causing bubbles to come up to the surface. Doing that a few times barely let out all of the emotions
(Y/n) was keeping on lock down, not wanting to waste more time she got out of the bath to finish up.
Her bags sat near the door as she finished tying her hair up into a bun. (Y/n) was grabbing her bags as Wilbur left his office. “What…are you doing (Y/n)?” He asked innocently, his stupid god Damn fake “sweet guy” act made her roll her eyes back feeling herself physically cringe at his lies.
“Oh fuck off Wil, I’m fucking leaving!!” (Y/n) shouts turning around to face the creep she’d been staying with for the past few weeks.
His expression had changed from a soft warm to a hard cold look. He didn’t like that answer, and she didn’t give a flying fuck.
“What did you say?” Wil asked calmly, but something felt like this composure wouldn’t last long.
“I said I’m fucking leaving your creepy ass!! Holy fuck!! You can’t even get off my ass for two fucking minutes unless your filming!!! You entitled bitch I’m so god damn fucking tired of your shit!!!” (Y/n) shouts at him.
He was slightly taken aback, he’d never seen you get like this. Wilbur thought if he doubled down you’d back down. “Oh really? Where the fuck will you go?!? You’re just going to be homeless on the streets in a completely different country?!?! Yeah right dumb bitch” Wilbur says, but this was only escalating the situation.
“Excuse me?! Who thE FUCK ARE YOU CALLING A DUMB BITCH??? WHEN ITS YOU THAT CANT HANDLE BEING ALONE FOR A FEW FUCKING MINUTES WITHOUT CRYING OUT LIKE A FUCKING BABY!!! IS THAT WHAT YOU ARE?? A BIG STUPID MAN BABY?!?! BECAUSE TO ME YOU HAVE LITTLE PISS BABY BITCH WRITTEN ALL OVER YOUR STUPID FUCKING FACE!!!” You yell at him starting to not be able to hold yourself back.
“HOW FUCKING DARE YOU TALK TO ME LIKE YOU ABSOLUTE FUCKING BITCH!!!” Wilbur yells back raising his right hand to make a strike.
But (Y/n) went into the kitchen drawers pulling a long knife out, it was not a butter knife. “Don’t fucking touch me!! Get any fucking closer and I swear to fucking god I will cut your cock and balls off and EAT THEM IN FRONT OF YOU!!!!” She scream in his face.
Wilbur genuinely believed (Y/n) was just bluffing, that she actually wouldn’t do anything to him. Because she couldn’t! So he says “Really now? Then who else would love you but me? Like seriously the only guys that actually find you hot are desperate neck beards who think they have a chance with you because you’re below average, which is me putting that nicely. You’re just a dirty cock sleeve cum dumpster and you need me just as I need you. No one loves you, not even Dream…especially Dream” he says, Wilbur knew he struck a cord with (Y/n) because of the hot tears that filled her eyes.
She kept eye contact for a solid 30 seconds, not saying anything or doing anything. Just silent trying to process what was said to her. Wilbur just made a huge mistake by saying that, because now (Y/n) can’t control the anger swarming around inside her.
The fire was now out of control, it was a chaotic forest fire that was starting and she couldn’t stop it even if she wanted too.
Wilbur blinked and then he felt a hot burning pain in his shoulder, owning his eyes to see a knife had been put into his arm. Barely a few seconds later the blade was forcibly removed causing blood to squirt up along Wil and (Y/n) “H-Holy fuck!!” He shakily cries out sliding down against the wall.
“Wilbur, I hope you understand now. That I can be just as if not even more terrifying than you’ll ever be. You think you know crazy? You didn’t. Not until now. Pull shit like this with anyone and I will track you down and torture you alive. Get therapy you toxic fuck.” (Y/n) explains in a tone that was more tired than anything, just exhausted of this bullshit. She spat in his face before getting back up on her feet taking her bags leaving the apartment.
The next week (Y/n) was at the airport in Miami waiting for her good “friend”
“(Y/n)!!” A male voice calls out, she turned around to see Clay running up into his open arms getting into a great big warm hug.
“Clay!!! Ahhh!!! I’m so happy to see you!!” She says laughing sweetly.
Once the two were in the car that was when Clay wanted to have a serious conversation. “…(Y/n)…we need to talk…” he says.
“Is…everything okay?…” she asked turning to face him, she took his hand into hers rubbing his palm reassuringly.
“I know something serious happened when you were at Wilbur’s…I won’t ask you to tell me until you’re sure you’re completely ready and comfortable too…but…if he hurt you and is now trying to hide it…I’d like to know…always know that I’m a safe space for you, you can tell me anything and I’ll still love you unconditionally (Y/n)…I…I’m sorry for whatever happened…but please let me know if you’re okay?…” Clay ended up rambling a lot and it become a whole ass monologue.
(Y/n) feels tears flood again, but this time for the complete opposite reason. “Oh hun…” she says softly pulling him into an embrace. “Thank you Clay…I’m okay now…I promise…” whispers in his ear.
(Y/n) pulls away “I also need to know…what do you mean “hide it” what did he do?” She asked wiping her eyes.
“Oh yeah…you went completely offline…Wilbur deactivated everything.” He answers.
“Everything?”
“Everything, all of his accounts are just completely wiped. He’s not on anything anymore.”

A currently unnamed season 6 AU, part 1
~
“It is.”

🍼❄
for Lex
thank you so much for the ask hun ♥
❄️ what makes your oc sad, so sad that they can’t help but cry all day? how do they cheer themself up? does their sadness upset any of their loved ones too?
ooohh my god this one is so easy. my girlie is a sensitive bitch (she's a self insert for a reason) and she's very very prone to bouts of depression when she's alone or homesick. first, she left her family in markarth to join her coven, which was hard enough because there's genuinely nothing else in the world alexi loves more than her family and her home. but then, she went off to helgen, leaving her coven behind. she does, of course, make frequent trips back to visit them, but it's still painful being so far away. honestly, if it wasn't for her companions, she'd be absolutely miserable. (RE that fic that kel and i planned out together, this is why she gets really badly hurt when lucien insists on going their own separate ways, even though it was only for a few days. she was already homesick out of her mind, and having her only sense of support leave was really rough on her).
if she can't turn to her loved ones to cheer her up, she'll almost always either: 1) distract herself as best she can. it can get hard to focus on her alchemy work during a bad bout of depression, but she likes to summon a wolf familiar and play fetch with them for some company. or she would 2) seek out the comfort of strangers. she gets along really well with most people, and she appreciates their company. even if it's not as meaningful a connection as she shares with her closest friends and family, it still helps to make her feel more alive, ykwim? she's hired mercenaries before for jobs that she knew she could handle on her own just for the company they provide
her sadness does definitely upset her loved ones, because they know how much she hates being alone, but she's almost always forced into running around to gods know where on her own. when she first left markarth, ursula's #1 concern was how she can hold out emotionally. alexi is more than capable as a fighter, but her mental health is something she's always struggled with. and when she had her dragonborn duties to take care of, her coven members try to accompany her when they can, but a lot of them aren't able to leave for long periods (beatrice has to take care of honey, ophelia is the coven head and has her seer duties, esme is the one that keeps all of their dwarven tech functional and makes sure everything's running smoothly, etc). so she was often left on her own, and they were all worried for her. i think they're all super grateful she ends up meeting lucien and her other companions because otherwise things would have been so much harder to deal with emotionally.
🍼 does your oc have any children or want children? what names would they pick? are they good with kids or a complete disaster?
yes, definitely, absolutely !! it's hard to say when she would be able to settle down like that, but she definitely wants to eventually. she'd take in AT LEAST four kids: sissel, britte, sofie, and olette (from 3dnpcs).
with sissel and britte, she would definitely use her connections to the thieves guild to get their abusive father framed and thrown in jail so she take them in. she'd try her best to give them a safe and loving home, and she'd help britte work through a lot of her anger issues so she and sissel start to get along better. alexi would also definitely bring sissel to ophelia a lot, because sissel seems to have some inborn talent similar to ophelia and she'd wanna hone those skills as best she can.
with sofie, i have a whole fic planned out, but i like the idea that through her little business (and a series of events with alexi that i have planned out), she ends up getting interested in alchemy. and with that little connection between them, she and lexi chat often whenever alexi is in town. sofie is literally the only thing in that whole dreary town that makes alexi happy, and she'd happily adopt her when she knows she can support having a child.
and olette... oh my god. she's a little menace, and alexi would LOVE her. she loves bratty ass kids because, i mean, just look at her siblings. olette, if you don't know, is an adoptable kid from 3dnpcs who lives as a street rat in riften and gets by on pickpocketing and selling information she's overheard on the streets to thieves. alexandria would immediately sympathize with her, and whenever the little brat say smthn snarky or rude, alexi's heart just melts. fr she adores olette's spunk, and the second olette admits to herself that she isn't happy living on the streets, alexi immediately offers her a home.
