Sasuke's body count this, Sasuke's body count that
Are we not gonna talk about how Naruto killed someone before Sasuke was ever even shown to have killed his brother?
#i see this joked from time to time#but Sasuke's whole bit in defying the person who told him what to do (in this case Orochimaru telling him he needs to kill to be heartless)#means he's fairly adamant about not killing people when he doesn't have to#where I'm at in the show it's quite obvious that he cares so much#probably too much#his crying when trying to convince himself that Itachi was just a villain#cold and heartless#even though he's always known it wasn't true that Itachi was a villain#like so far Sasuke's body count is 2 where I'm at#which is literally only 1 more than Naruto

I was debating on YouTube about Sasuke but YouTube deletes comments, especially those that have a link. It was also difficult for me to search for the publications. So I gave myself the task of collecting posts from all Sasuke fans and neutral critics of the work 'Naruto' that talk about Sasuke and his relationship with the other Naruto characters. I have also included my contributions, such as questions to other users and post responses. I hope this post helps you when you need support when you are debating in favor of Sasuke. Without anything else to say, I leave you the links:
Positive qualities of Sasuke.
Sasuke's chakra is extremely powerful, voluminous, and denser than Senjutsu chakra!
It is false that Bee could have killed Sasuke any time he wanted.
ÂĄSasuke has been shown to nullify mortal wounds with Raiton!
Sasuke is literally the first person to survive the Raikage's Liger Bomb.
All Sasuke received from Raikage was a small lip bleed, while Raikage lost an arm and another Kage, Gaara, had to intervene to save his leg and his life.
Orochimaru's "physical condition" has nothing to do with his ritual and Sasuke's victory.
Analysis Sasuke vs Deidara.
Sasuke killed Danzo; he did not commit suicide.
Are Itachi and Kakashi really prodigies at the level their fans believe them to be? No.
The only reason Naruto managed to hurt Kaguya was because Sasuke forced her to change dimensions more than once and she herself had changed dimensions about four times in total.
Because Sasuke haters say that Haku is simply more tragic and a better person than Sasuke; and Batman too!
What is it about Sasuke that provokes people so much, compared to all the other fictional characters (in and out of Naruto) who have done bad things? Gaara was killing people for fun in part 1, but no one ever complains about him not being punished. Zuko from ATLA burned down a village of civilians, sent a hitman after Team Avatar, and was just lucky that no civilian was injured/killed, but everyone adores him. But Sasuke is unredeemable for threatening to destroy the village?
A back and forth on why Sasuke is a much better realized character, with thematic and narrative depth, compared to Kurapika and Zuko.
Sasuke is the imperfect victim unlike the perfect victims of ATLA and Full Metal Alchemist.
Sasuke's character is too good for the Naruto universe.
Are people upset that Sasuke was going to let the Shinobi Alliance perish?
Sasuke as a feminist icon.
Sakura is a female incel.
Sakura is a narcissistic.
Sakura inserted herself because she wanted validations from people who were out of her league, that's why. She is perfect for self-insert.
The mere idea of turning over an entire manga in your head in which Sasuke hides a raging boner (at age 12) for Sakura is... repulsive. Don't you have anything better to do?
Sasuke never kissed Sakura.
The blow on the forehead is not the maximum expression of love.
Naruto Gaiden is a fucking masterpiece! It proves that Sasuke doesn't love Sakura.
Sasuke retsuden is not canon.
Sasuke retsuden is not canon, Jun Esaka herself said it and if you are a fan of Sasuke it is normal that you hate Sakura because Sasuke is unhappy with her.
Sasuke still considers Sakura inferior.
Sasuke didn't push Sakura away because of the curse of hate.
Sasuke rejected Sakura, Ino and Karin, he didn't push them away because he was afraid.
Sasuke is not in love with Karin and did not have sex in part 2 with Karin.
Why Karin's fans say she had sex with Sasuke in part 2.
What does Kakashi know about the genocide and the physical and mental torture that would lead the child victim to a fatal coma, at the hands of a family member?
Naruto is a narcissistic.
Why Naruto is the worst character.
How can anyone read the two chapter panels showing two very different worlds the characters occupy and be surprised by the way it ended? They were not going to reconcile since the world where Sasuke exists is the antithesis of the world where his former team resides.
Lee was never "goodâ at Taijutsu, let alone being a genius at it. The series' main theme, revolves around bonds. When the manga began, Naruto let loose Kurama (unintentionally) against Haku, breaking all Ice Mirrors that ... no Jutsu could break; and that, happened way back in the Waves Arc. How does that associate "hard-work" with Naruto's character, upon whom many poor souls project their misfortunes to feel vindicated, when two geniuses (Sasuke and Kakashi) in the near-vicinity failed? Naruto powered through this via nothing but brute force; and that isn't a precursor to hard-work. That's the exact opposite. With the beginning of the next Arc, the "if we work hard, we could beat all odds, too" trope lovers got their kicks from Sasuke's humiliation at Lee's hands (or gates?); but then they conveniently forget that Lee himself stated that what Sasuke accomplished was literally impossible for someone like him (he even emphasized on this argument). Gai even went so far as to state that even with the Sharingan's power, Sasuke should never have been able to do what he did (he literally invented his own Taijutsu maneuver from Lee's in a single day; if that's not prodigious, I don't know what is); and Gai, last I checked, is an authority on the subject of Taijutsu, not youâyes, you! Sasuke mastered Kimimaro's CS in under two hours whilst Lee survived simply because Kimimaro was dying and he literally died whilst delivering a death-blow to Gaara and Lee; so thematically, narratively, and metaphorically, Sasuke matched an adversary against whom both Gaara and Lee lost? That and Lee was outshined by Sasuke twice in a row, going so far as to undermine Lee in his own life endeavors that involved years of sweat and tears?
Shikamaru's revenge is meaningless unlike Sasuke's.
People who support Nagato but vilify Sasuke sound a lot more idiotic than they think.
In defense of Fugaku.
How does Sasuke's revolution develop?
Why didn't the narrative validate Sasuke's radical change from Konoha's Will of Fire to the Revolution?
Itachi massacred the clan out of conscience.
The difference between Kushina and Itachi is not that big.
The policies of Tobirama Senju and the Uchiha genocide.
At what point will people stop demanding Sasuke?
Tsunade was at the forefront of the Second Shinobi World War that massacred the people of Nagato, plundered their land's resources, and continued to use the land as a battlefield resulting in mass deaths, poverty, and suffering. A war that Konoha started.
Why do so many people still blame Sasuke for Sasuke's past?
Uchihas do not have mental illnesses.
Sasuke vs Readers without empathy.
Kishimoto canon vs Studio Pierrot fanservice.
The brilliant change of perspective and theme between Hebi and Taka Sasuke; and that there is no writing defect in the moment in which Sasuke stabs Karin to reach DanzĆ.
Tobirama never accepted the Uchiha as true allies like Hashirama did, never trusting them, something he admitted so openly that his brother had to warn him "not to continue pursuing the Uchiha." And the Uchiha weren't planning to kill innocent people, they were planning to take over the government itself.
Kishimoto is anti sasusaku and anti naruhina.
Kishimoto never wanted to write Boruto.
The real Sasuke fans.
Sasuke winking at Sakura was never happened in the manga, it was a translation error.

Canonical difference between Sasuke and Naruto in terms of their canon parings - a rant
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
DISCLAIMER:
1. There are two caveats that I'll provide at the end with explanations behind them.
2. It will be in parts because i want to provide manga as proof, and Tumblr has a limit of pictures I can add.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now to the point
Who is the most important person in life for Naruto and Sasuke?
Let's start with Naruto, because for anyone who has read the series, it's obvious.
For Naruto it's SASUKE.
No doubt. Comparing importance of Sasuke and importance of Hinata in Naruto's mind is laughable. Saying that Hinata is more important - is straight up delusional.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Naruto, after a thought that someone can try to k*ll Sasuke, even tho he knows Sasuke is stronger than most of the universe:
Devastated. Hyperventilating. Unable to breathe.
Naruto, after thinking he destroyed the WHOLE VILLAGE, every villager, including Hinata:
Sad, sure, not sad enough to check on her, even tho he was in sage mode so he could feel she was literally dying.
Naruto, after seeing Hinata nearly die to the point she had to be hospitalized and felt the effects of it months after:
I'll fight you Neji.
(I'll also like to remind everyone that Naruto did jump at Neji, but not because of Hinata but because he called her a "loser" and said that every looser would stay a loser, which Naruto took personally. Even that whole fight means to Naruto not revenge for Hinata, but a revenge for saying that loser will lose. Read the manga.)
Naruto, after Kabuto just mentioned Sasuke's name:
Sasuke went there on his own will, but just the thought of losing him was too much for Naruto.
Naruto, thinking Hinata died protecting him. The only person that has ever said she loves him, to the person who wants love the most - dead:
Naruto - surprised, terrified even, but not bat shit crazy. He needed Pain to talk shit and say about love causing hatred. Pain had to continue the whole "everyone is gonna die" narrative for Naruto to explode. He can become Kurama in seconds, but he needed Pain to continue - to explode.
And then he didn't even check on her.
Naruto, thinking Sasuke died for him. Without the whole "I love you" stuff. Just a friend protecting him:
Well...
(A reminder, it was when the seal was very strong. Naruto wasn't using so much of Kuramas chakra, so it was WAAAY harder for him to go into Kuramas mode.)
Then Naruto checking on Sasuke (when he was certain that Sasuke died) and crying out of happiness when Sasuke turns out alive
And last but not least, Naruto ready to die with Sasuke. Saying it eith smile on his face. No mention of Hinata even tho it was right after her love confession:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You can ship NaruHina, but saying that Naruto would chose Hinata over Sasuke is a different level of delusional. The whole plot of the series is that Naruto would do anything for Sasuke. He would k*ll for Sasuke and die for Sasuke.
Sasuke is the most important person in Narutos life. Anyone who says differently has NEVER read the manga or just uses wishful thinking instead đ€·ââïž
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I would even go further and say that the moment when Naruto was telling Minato about finding love that is not exactly like Kushina - he was talking about Sasuke. But it's not per se canon so I'm gonna keep it out đ€·ââïž
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Two caveats:
1. They would obviously put their children first - above anyone. So children are beside the point.
2. We are going to base it on canon material only. Anything that wasn't written by Kishimoto is irrelevant. So no, we are not taking novels or movies. It would be too long and it's not canon đ€·ââïž

Chapter 52 Hype Posting
Hi void. I am going to vibrate out of my seat. Oh I'm going feral, absolutely feral. Another WSJ cover and lead colour page next week already! Promotion on TV during prime-time in Japan! The insanely good volume 4 PV! Hokazono-sensei judging for a manga award! Kagurabachi's getting the push to be the Next Big Thing at last- you love to see it.
Kind of.
I want Hokazono-sensei to get all the recognition he deserves, but I also don't want the fandom to explode and become yet another annoying dudebro space. The success of the series is more important though, so I'm happy to see Kagurabachi get so much support. Everyone needs to know about this manga! ANYWAY.
LOOK AT THIS TROLL.
It's Chihiro's turn to have a creepy parasocial admirer now.
Hiruhiko's not doing this just for kicks, however- he deliberately (and successfully) triggered Chihiro to orchestrate his dramatic fall. Given what happened at the end of this chapter, I would not be surprised if Chihiro's literal descent is foreshadowing a metaphorical one of some kind down the line.
And this just breaks my heart:
Triggers Chihiro's rage then fucks off only to do this? I will not be mourning Hiruhiko's death.
Chihiro's not built for being a murder bot and it pains him so much to be seen as equivalent to someone like Hiruhiko. But he was taught to see things through and uses his hatred for the Hishaku to keep going. Revenge is probably the only thing he wakes up every day for- he wasn't kidding about that "fresh hatred" line in chapter 1. And neither was Shiba when he said living like this would break him. This kid needs a hug and a safe place to cry out the pain so badly, man...
More than that, though... more than anything...
HIRUHIKO'S THE FUCKIN' ANTI-HAKURI.
"We're equals", he says. "I killed my family", he mentions. "Let's be friends," he asks as he forces his way into Chihiro's life. "I'm the only one who can understand you." The hell you aren't you rat bastard. Hakuri's the one whose soul resonates with Chihiro's. He's the one Chihiro acknowledged as an equal and a friend. BEGONE, FOUL DEMON.
God damn it. Hokazono, I love you for making my most hated villain archetype into a character I want to see more of. I've never understood why playful psychopaths are so beloved but I get it with this guy. Smooth move making him the evil version of my favourite character in all of fiction, Mr. Author. Now I need Hiruhiko and Hakuri to face off over their ideals about who Chihiro really is. It would be the perfect reprise to the Sojo arc! PLEEEEEEASE. There's so much HakuHiro potential in this setup... Hakuri being the one to pull Chihiro forward again would be amazing. But not for his own goals this time- just to help Chihiro as a true friend and partner. Not gonna get too attached to this since it's just one potential development out of many... I won't let myself... (too late).
(Psst... æŒă or æŒăă will probably be the JP ship tag/name for Hiruhiko/Chihiro. Ain't no way Chihiro is the top in this pair for most Japanese fujin lol.)
The Show
The main character of the play's name is Sasuke and Hokazono-sensei is a huge Naruto fan. So much so that he's taken his own spin on Naruto and Sasuke three times now (Enten, Roku no Meiyaku, Kagurabachi). Chihiro is, in fact, his OC donut steel character inspired by the most annoying emo ninja boy ever. I see you, Hokazono-sensei.
The Battle of Soshima might be a made-up title to reference the real historical event The Battle of Tsushima, which fellow Golden Kamuy fans will recognize. At any rate, there aren't any famous Japanese stage plays with the same name, so there's no direct narrative parallels to draw insight from (sad trombone noises). Fortunately for us Hiruhiko is a yapper like I hoped and tells us the plan pretty plainly anyway:
I relate so hard right now, random audience guy.
Hiruhiko says the plan to kill Chihiro's not a bluff. But he's not acting like he's intends to make good on that statement. So that means...
Perception vs Intent
Chihiro looking his best: stressed and menacing
This is gonna be huge I think. Remember what Azami said back in the Sojo arc in ch. 9:
Azami, please come back soon. I need you carnally.
Then consider likes like this...
Local violent gang member still pretty tough after becoming human shishkebab through a moving train.
Chihiro could be set up to tarnish his father's legacy.
The public doesn't know the true strength or capabilities of the weapons that won the war- they just know that Rokuhira Kunishige made them and they were the key to winning. So Chihiro dropping in on a stage play to splatter the audience with a headless corpse's blood is not a great first impression. He looks downright villainous in this scene. Awesome, but villainous.
The Hishaku are going to metaphorically "kill" Chihiro somehow. For some reason, tormenting this poor guy is absolutely vital to John's plans... it's probably more along the lines of Chihiro being a useful pawn to move around to create conflict they can exploit, but still. They're going to try to break his spirit this arc for sure. Leave Chihiro alone! He's been through enough!
I've got a hell of a lot to say about this but I need some key details from the next few chapters before going off on lunatic tangents. Fuckin' hell though, this is great. This is exactly the type of development I was hoping we'd see after Samura's chapter. Chihiro's committed to the cause of killing the Hishaku, who so far have been wholly unsympathetic villains. But killing is a wrongful act. And this chapter sets up that Chihiro might not be the sympathetic avenging swordsman we love him as in the eyes of the public- he appears to be more of a menace like some of the members of the Kamunabi accused him of. He might be challenged on his murderous modus operandi via a Hishaku-backed smear campaign. Seriously, using Chihiro's brutality against them to ruin his father's legacy would be so evil and cruel. I love it.
We'll be able to count on Shiba and Hakuri to make sure Chihiro doesn't go off the deep end at least. I wouldn't be surprised if Hiyuki played a pivotal role in helping Chihiro out this arc too, but I don't want to commit when we've hardly seen anything of her so far (my spaghetti sovereign... please come back to the main story full-time soon).
Whether or not I'm right (I'm not, I never am), Chihiro's murder sprees fueled by Fresh Hatred are going to get looked at in a critical way. High time and I am definitely here for it. Tell me what you've got to say about violent revenge motivated by grief, Hokazono-sensei. You have more space to examine the topic now compared to Farewell! Cherry Boy.
Shorter than usual but that's not a bad thing. I can always come back and edit this (came back to do so twice now already) or make another addendum post, but...
... Just choose kindness, people. For yourself and others. See you later.
#kagurabachi#I told you I'd yap about Hakuri no matter how small his appearances are (he doesn't even have to show up)#Hiyuki also appeared this chapter yay#Chihiro looks AMAZING this chapter I can't get over it

I just saw on Twitter a bunch of people praising Sakura for not being a nepobaby and supposedly being the only person in the written portion of the Chunin Exams to answer the questions on it.
I want to clarify that none of the K13 with the exclusion of Naruto and Hinata are nepobabies, especially Sasuke and Neji, who, despite coming from prestigious families had to bust their asses off to get where they're at in terms of strength and power, those two dealt with some serious shit that Sakura could never dream of. Sasuke had self-taught himself everything he knew, and the ONLY new thing he got during his time within Konoha was chidori, and even then, Kakashi only taught him that for his fight with Gaara and overall was an ass to Sasuke. Hiruzen and everyone else in Konoha did jackshit for Sasuke before he defected to Orochimaru, who himself for all his faults actually cared and did more for Sasuke than any other adult outside of his clan.
Neji, meanwhile, was literally a branded child-slave, and correct me if I'm wrong, he like Sasuke, was mainly self-taught. The Caged-Bird Seal prevented him from fully utilizing the Byakugan's full strength, but as noted by Hizashi, he was a once in a lifetime genius and was insanely talented and skilled.
Both Sasuke and Neji, despite being prodigies, still busted their asses off to get to where they were at. Both young men trained regularly on a daily, both before and after the tragedies in their lives. Even when they awakened their clans kekkei genkai, they still had to not only get adjusted to them but also incorporate the powers and abilities of them into their fighting styles.
A quick reminder: Sasuke from the end of the Wave Arc to his first battle with Naruto at Final Valley had a 1 or 2-Tomoe sharingan and unlocked the full 3-Tomoe towards the end of the battle so for much of Part 1 his sharingan wasn't fully developed and as I said above Neji couldn't tap into the Byakugan's full power because of the slave seal on his forehead.
Sakura herself, unlike literally everyone else in the K13 didn't fucking train and her so-called book smarts were laughable when she implemented or applied them to the field. She brought nothing to the table, unlike everyone else in her class, which in part is because of her tiny reserves of chakra, and the other reason is because she again canonically doesn't train instead wasting her time trying to look good and impress Sasuke, she's called out on this by Sasuke and Team Dosu. She only started training after Sasuke left Konoha and defected to Orochimaru.
More importantly, Sakura was never confirmed to have answered a single one of those questions correctly. Ibiki himself made it extremely apparent that NO ONE could've answered them correctly, and there's no way he'd backtrack on what he said. Hell, he noted that the only unusual thing about that years exams was Naruto's blank sheet of paper. Nothing indicates Sakura or Hinata got a single question right.
Additionally, Sakura got every single portion of the exams wrong. The purpose of the written portion was to gather information from enemy lines WITHOUT being caught. Cheating was the whole point, and yet Sakura didn't figure this out, and predictably Naruto didn't either, Sasuke was the only member of his cell to do so and got both idiots through. The FoD portion of the exams was also carried by Sasuke. He correctly figured out the test function, he came up with the password for his team, and he saw through the henge Orochimaru used, and if I recall correctly he also saw through the one used by that Ame shinobi and had save both Sakura and Naruto throughout the whole ordeal which cost him dearly. Seriously, Sakura did jackshit throughout the Chunin Exams arc and was deadweight all around.
Look, I get it, you Sakura stans don't like Sasuke and that's fine but stop making up bullshit because it doesn't do you guys any favors other than making you look like bigger idiots than you already are.

I legitimately hope that BNHA takes from American comics and allows for several people to work on the title. Vigilantes is proof that Horikoshi will allow for legitimate spin-offs and not just "oooo they're chibi" type spin-offs. I honestly think that Horikoshi would be okay with more spin-offs if they were good ideas. Here's some ideas that I would want to see get greenlit in order of what I want the most to least:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Boku No Hero Career:
Basically just Deku trying to be an adult, while being a teacher, while being a hero. Basically, I'm asking for J. Michael Strazinski's run on Spider-Man. But I could specifically see somebody having a field day with how this new society works, and how hero-work is moving more towards helping the oppressed rather than fighting sludge monsters. There'd still be sludge monsters, I'm not trying to de-comicify My Hero, but it's a whole lot more of trying to fight the root of the problem. I think a strength of this potential story could be the use of non-violent conflict resolution. There'd obviously be action, but nothing bigger in scale than say the Overhaul fight. If you want to add inherent stakes, you can always have Deku's armor get damaged or something. Gun to my head, I could see the first long running arc about Deku and crew trying to end a prostitution ring. I also wouldn't mind an Izuocha subplot, but that's just my personal preference. I admit that part of this is just me missing JMS' Spider-Man run.
Skycrawler Adventures:
Okay I only had one cool title name; sue me. But I just want more of Koichi, man. Horikoshi has said he's a sucker for Spider-Man and at the very least one cover is literally a direct homage to Ultimate Spider-Man Vs. Venom. If BNHC is JMS' run on Spider-Man, this is Tom DeFalco and JM DeMatteis' runs on Spider-Man. It's that early 20's, post-college and in your first big kid job vibes. Maybe we start with Koichi starting up his own hero agency and struggling to maintain it. Maybe we finally make him canonically autistic? I admit I'm projecting with that one. But I think that Skycrawler Adventures could be like Chainsaw Man Part 2. Not exactly, but in terms of making this into an epic.
Boku No 52
This title requires some light explaining. Back in the day, DC had an event called 52. This came right after the event Infinite Crisis. After Infinite Crisis, the DC universe had a one year time-skip. However, 52 also released at the beginning of said time-skip. The premise of the book being that each issue would cover one week, and by the end of the series (which had 52 issues), you would know everything that happened during the time-skip. The only real caveat with this book being that Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman were practically off the table. So, you had to use more minor characters. The book had 4 all-star writers and it was an absolute smash hit. It's still beloved to this day. I think that BNHA could use something like this. It can even fit my prior two pitches in there. But you can also have chapters about the new class 1-A, Bakguo yelling at clouds, is Endeavor still trying to be a father, what is Momo up to, literally anything. You can have it showcase a bunch of new mangaka. I'm sure that Horikoshi had drawing assistants, let them have a shot at this. This one is definitely the least likely to get passed. But, I also think it has the highest potential.
I'm willing to bet that Jump DESPERATELY wants to have another Naruto or Bleach or One Piece. Specifically a manga line that lasts for a STUPIDLY long time that's extremely popular that they can ride into the sunset. I think that My Hero has that potential. I just think that they should keep Horikoshi as a consultant, and do brand new things.

There are so many people who ship different couples(ns/nh/sk/sh) and have started using sns as a shield in arguments and to harass people. The SNS/NH Twitter Brazil community has basically merged in their hatred for Sakura, but now there are NH fans claiming they ship and love SNS, but every other day they're hating on Sasuke. and bashing sns to praise nh/hinata
I've definitely seen nh/sk/sh use narusasu as a cudgel in shipping arguments over there. But narusaku fans are mainly divided into the self-insert multisaku fans that dislike narusasu and the other side that doesn't like how sasusaku was handled in canon. The latter doesn't really seem to bring up narusasu, to be honest, which is funny because they used to be more tied to the sns fandom pre ending. Like the mindset of sns fans then was that if any het ship would be canon they'd prefer it to be narusaku because the writing was better than that of nh/ss and narusaku fans generally thought sns had the best content and was intentionally baited though not explicitly meant to be romantic.
That said, I don't think they've merged in their hate for Sakura. SNS fans there interact more with NH fans more now because 1. SS are overtly insecure routine harassers and bigots that like to dog pile people, SO NH fans are perceived to be kinder and more welcoming in comparison, and 2. SNS fans don't see the problems with NH as a ship because it's not as much of an obvious disaster as SS (though personally I can't see how a literal guilt trip genjutsu isn't terrible but I digress) so SNS fans don't mind it and make bot tweets about how Sasuke and Hinata are similar and Naruto has the same type (ignoring the fact that Hinata was made more similar to Sasuke to make the NH relationship more viable).
And you're right about them being fake and hating Sasuke/SNS. They're not as aggressive so as I said the perception is that they're not as bad as SS, but you can find the "progressive pro SNS" NH fans happily interacting and agreeing with dudebros that make tweets about SNS being related reincarnations (ignoring the fact that in SP's quest to make Hinata relevant and similar to Sasuke, they suddenly made her receive the chakra of The Sage of Six Paths' sibling in the Last â in order to copy Naruto and Sasuke respectively having Ashura and Indra's chakra â and that following their logic Naruto and Hinata would be "related"). They happily harass SNS artists and fan accounts who simply mind their business. They happily make posts about the LGBTQ+ community being an abomination.
When they do acknowledge SNS its to try and make it seem like Sasuke one-sidedly loves Naruto and they actively try to undermine Sasuke's narrative role in Naruto's life to give Hinata more relevance and then complain when people push back against the misinformation they spread.
And I will also simply never forget nh/ss fans platforming a homophobic religious supremacist (who worshipped Hinata and stated that Sasuke could be removed from the story and nothing would change but that Hinata was crucial to the plot) who was particularly notorious for going into the sns tag to harass people. nh/ss fans both used to team up to antagonize sns/narsak fans and only stopped post ending in order to have boring and shallow "my self insert is prettier/more successful and has a better husband" competitions. They will always be equally terrible.

OMG, HashiMada shipper in 2024? Hello! Just want to say, when I'm into Naruto fandom, what I know, this ship is not too popular, but I always love them... And Gaara/Lee, never ship them, but it's interesting, thanks for opening this new door for me...
I have always shipped Gaara/Naruto (but mostly one sided) because my #1 ship will always be Naruto/Sasuke. My 2nd fav ship is Kakashi/Maito Gai (please don't laugh at me, I know, Kakashi/Obito is way more popular, but I just really love Gai as character, too). My 3rd fav ship is....HashiMada, of course ...
Can, I ask your top 5 (or top 3) fav Naruto characters and your top 5 (or top 3) fav moments?
Hey! Sorry it took me so long to answer...
But yeah, I always loved HashiMada. I mean, how can you see their Romeo & Juliet backstory and Madara's insane hyperfixation on Hashirama and come away with anything else. Madara got Hashirama's face on his titty ffs. I'm surprised they are comparatively unpopular in the fandom. On AO3 they are in the top ships of the Naruto tag, but compared to ObiKaka or KakaIru they aren't that prominent. Even TobiMada seems a bit more popular than them (which I don't understand, could never get into that ship).
GaaLee is also something I got into relatively recently, never considered it much beforehand. Saw some great fanart of them and read some fics by a_gay_poster and somehow got hooked. They honestly have a great dynamic in canon. Gaara is used to hurting the people around him and Lee has an insane pain tollerance and a good enough heart and a tickle of insanity that he doesn't hold Gaara's numerous murder attempts against him. Although he doesn't forgive blindly either. Something about the two finding together despite how much they hurt each other is very intriguing. Lee was the first person to break through Gaara's sand armor, his defence, and make him experience pain. Something completely new for Gaara, just how Lee won't break that easily in his grip or even if he breaks, he keeps moving forward regardless of the pain. A different kind of monster/beast you could say. I also mainly eyed Gaara and Naruto as a ship, would even say it's somewhat one-sidedly canon, but tbf I don't like Naruto that much as the story progresses and I was never fully convinced that Naruto would return Gaara's feelings. Feels to me like he would always be 2nd best after Sasuke. GaaLee has much more for me to get into there.
KakaGai surprised me too. I always liked them as friends, but some fanart and fanfics made me revisit canon and Konoha Shinden full-on converted me. I love how Gai is a constant at Kakashi's side no matter how traumatic his life becomes and how lost in PTSD and depression he becomes and when Gai is the one who tries to sacrifice himself, Kakashi is there by his side. They are also both so suicidal in their own way. Both think they have to proof something by sacrificing themselves, the best thing they can ever do for someone they care about is die for them. They think they need to break themselves to be of worth because that's all they ever learned. Both feel like they have to atone for their fathers in different ways and feel guilty. And yet they are forced to survive until the end and grow old together. Also, personally, I love Gai's journey from thinking punishing his body, literally burning it up to reach unparalleled power, is the only way to show his worth, even teaching it Lee. But then his immense physical strength is taken from him, his glorious death is taken from him and he learns to live with it and find joy in the ordinary things. He is worthy to be by Kakashi's side even when he can't physically beat him, they don't need to surpass each other.
Well, I could go on and on about these two... đ
ObiKaka doesn't do it for me at all. Sure, they are important for each other, lots of angst there, but I only really like Obito when he's around Madara. Otherwise I find him quite annoying.
Top 5 Naruto characters is hard to say, I don't really want to rank them. So here's a list:
Orochimaru
Kabuto
Gai
Rock Lee
Gaara
As for top 5 favourite moments, I'd say it's:
Gai vs Madara (always makes me really emotional in the manga, particularly the inclusion of his backstory)
Kakashi Gaiden, just in general
Naruto vs Gaara (particularly Gaara's backstory)
Gaara vs Rock Lee (perfect showcase of Lee's character and his relationship with Gai...also best example of Gai's philosophy being hurtful despite all the good intentions)
Naruto vs Neji (probably the moment where I felt Naruto's "never give up" spirit the most and I also liked Neji here even more than in his fight against Hinata; too bad Naruto never kept his promise to him...)

Main Issues with Rosegarden vs Ones That Can Be Easily Argued Against
Main Criticisms that better describe the main concerns with Rosegarden:
-Issue 1: RWBY often relies heavily on subtext and fan interpretation to build ships rather than explicitly showing relationships develop on-screen(Pyrrha explains her reasons for liking Jaune but we don't see them onscreen as this was in only Volume 2). This creates frustration for fans who feel that certain relationships aren't explored enough or are left too vague.
-Issue 2: Some relationships receive far more screen time and development than others in RWBY, or are onyl focused for specific volumes, which can lead to certain ships feeling more like fanservice or being sidelined entirely.(Weiss and Ruby not hanging out much compared to Penny and Ruby in V7)
-Issue 3: Ruby and Oscar haven't been in the forefront resulting in conversations which other lacking banter vs conversations they have with characters who are in the forefront(Oscar being sassy with Hazel, Emerald, and Ozpin)
Criticisms that that are often contradicted:
Oscar is too old for Ruby
Other media: -Kagome (15) and Inuyasha (over 200 years old)
RWBY: Ruby being fine with being friends with Penny who was a robot
Ruby Should be with ______
Other media: -Quintessential Quintuplets(despite different shipping author gives reason as to why the MC ended up with the specific love interest compared to others)
RWBY: Will probably explain why if ends up canon, did so for Pyrrha in Volume 2
Oscar is to young for Ruby
Other media: Usagi (15) and Mamoru (17) from Sailor Moon
RWBY: Again Penny having no biological ageÂ
Ruby will just take care of Oscar
Other media: Luz would start off causing dangerous situations Amity needed to help deal with in the Owl House before indirectly motivating her to stand up to her parents in the Owl House
RWBY: Ruby does this for literally everyone
Oscar is just a plot device of the most part
Other media: Shuichi Minamino represents Kurama's internal conflict and transformation with their merge in Yu Yu Hakusho that happened before the events of the show
CRWBY: Ruby having Silver Eyes
Ruby and Oscar donât have enough time for romantic development in the show
Other media: Hinata and Naruto from Naruto the Last MovieÂ
CRWBY: Pyrrha admitting she liked Jaune in only V2 for treating her like anyone else which we only learned in that volume.
Oscar will merge with Ozpin
Other media: Ultraman Tiga-gradually merges while regaining past life relationships but still gets married to new love interest
CRWBY: Blacksmith is god and gives Ruby a choice in changing or not for her acceptanceÂ
Ozpin being around
Other media: Asuka still loving Jaden despite his trauma and fusing with Yubel in Yugioh GX
CRWBY: Ozpin only appearing for plot stuffÂ
Ozpin will take over Oscar
Other media: Ultraman Tiga, Kurama(Yu Yu Hakusho) from above
CRWBY: Blacksmith gives a whole speech about balance at the end of Volume 9 rather than controlÂ
Oscar is just discount JauneÂ
Other Media: Like Edward, Alphonse is on a similar journey and reacting to new stuff, but his own struggles and quiet demeanor separate him from his more forward brother. Over time, Alphonse proves his individuality and importance to the story in Fullmetal Alchemist.Â
CRWBY:Â
-Jaune being in a rare position of being a foil to Ruby but even since volume 1(likely due to family legacy) would act like he has everything under control resulting him lashing out, hence him opening up in Volume 8 and 9 represents important growth
(learning to be forward-facing even in the midst of truly knowing and understanding everything thatâs wrong with the situation.)
-After Oscar getting frustrated in Volume 5 he adapts as well in how he doesnât follow Ozpinâs mindset as much as Jaune since Volume 1 which added to his repressive habits in Volume 9 partially, in how despitee struggling with becoming an immortal wizard he is capable of making more meaningful connections compared to Ozpin who even if he ignoring the Salem secret didnât trust anyone emotionally resulting in him quickly leaving.Â

Naruto and H1n0t0's wedding chapter confirms SNS
While doing research alongside @ilbenmalpensanteus for a fanfic, the subject of Shippuden's last chapter aka the wedding and some misconceptions you might have heard about (promoted by s*s* no less) were brought up. I went to re-watch the scene and found some interesting things that, perhaps not so surprisingly, support sns case.
I want to do this as extensively as possible, so the analysis will be composed of multiple parts.
(pt.1) The usual delusion of Sakura and s*s* fans
It all started because I was informed some s*s* were saying the note Sasuke's summon delivered was meant to congratulate Sakura for her birthday and not Naruto for the wedding. I was pretty sure that wasn't the case but went to confirm it because I only watched the chapter once and superficially.
I confirmed s*s* claims as preposterous right away, as expected.
The kanji written in the note ă毿ă which is read as ăăăšă¶ăă or "kotobuki" simply means "congratulations" "best wishes" or "longevity". It is a formal kanji used for formal affairs (weddings, duh!) and definitely not for the birthday of a partner or love interest, in which case it is preferred to use some variant for ăèȘçæ„ăăă§ăšăă or "tanjĂŽbi omedetĂŽ".
Also, no, the wedding didn't take place during SakuraÂŽs birthday just because it looks like a "Hanami" event because there isn't a fixed date for such a celebration. The date on which it is celebrated depends on the region where it is celebrated, ranging from March to May in the northernmost parts of Japan.
The summon landed on Sakura's arm because at that moment Naruto was indoors and Sakura only smiled and blushed because she gets off on anything Sasuke related and is creepy.
(pt.2) Sasuke's not so subtle fuck this wedding congratulatory note
I don't know who was involved in this wedding thing but I don't think this wasn't on purpose. I can't believe I have not seen any discussion about this, but well, I joined Tumblr relatively recently, and there must have been some mention around Japanese forums that I most likely won't have the time to look for. (let me know if you have more information)
Anyway, for context, there are many social conventions followed by the Japanese people depending on the circumstances. One of the many that apply to celebrations is ăç„ïżœïżœèąă read as ăăă
ăăă¶ăăă or "shĂ»gibukuro" which literally means "envelope for monetary gifts". Now, this could apply to funerals, new year and, of course, weddings, and there are strict rules one must follow to avoid being rude.
The amount of money gifted depends on the closeness of the relationship between the new couple and the wedding guests.
The amount of money must match the envelope. In other words, if you are using an expensive fine envelope, you should gift more money and vice-versa.
Even when you won't attend the wedding you should send a "non-attendance" envelope with a fixed amount of money.
The details and ornaments on the envelope the guests choose reflect upon the wishes they have for the newlyweds.
Here I present some examples:
First of all, you can see the kanji used in all the envelopes is the same Sasuke used for his note. The ornament that looks like an origami figure means good luck and the more complex it looks, the finer is the envelope. The same goes for the complexity and color of the knots. A golden-silver cord is better than the red-white one and the more difficult a knot is to unravel the better, because it means the newlyweds have strong bonds. The knot in the first image is one of the bests because the shape is meant to represent a rising sun and the start of a new stage in the couples lives, also its the most difficult to untie. The second one is considered standard and the third one is for no-attendees. The fourth is not recommended because the knot is easy to untie.
There are many other characteristics, but I think this overview is enough to understand Sasuke's note was a direct pronouncement against the wedding. As Naruto's best friend he should have sent half of his Uchiha inheritance inside an envelope like this one
What did Naruto get?
A "Fuck you" would have been more subtle.
Edit: What Naruto got from other wedding guests
****************************************************************
I'll leave it here for today, but expect the analysis of Kakashi and Iruka's conversation. Iruka and Naruto as well as Naruto and Hinata looking at the Hokage monument.
If you are skeptical about the information I shared, here's my source and there are lots of youtube videos where this is also explained.

"âŠSo you claim Hinata had no consideration for life of anyone other than Naruto... and then use a screenshot from the manga of her literally showing consideration for the wellbeing of someone who isn't Naruto."
Considering how things went after Neji vs Naruto, chances are that things changed in the Hyuuga family for those other than just Neji. Even if not, Hinata risking her life =/= a lack of consideration for anyone's life other than Naruto's, despite consequences. Or are you saying youâve never done anything without carefully considering every single possible consequence first?
But hey⊠"Tell me you didnât read my ask properly without telling me you didnât read my ask properly".
"Or are you saying you've never done anything without carefully considering every single possible consequence first?"
First of all, sure, everyone did, but not necessarily when the consequences are:
1) you will just get in a way of a battle and be a great inconvenience instead of helping
(of which she was aware of)
2) getting your guard punished/possibly killed
3) you hurting the person you are supposed to "help" (I'm not gonna repeat myself, you can read it here)
4) you dying for no reason
5) if you somehow don't get killed, you becoming a burden to medics who could devote their time to people who did help or got hurt by ricochet of the attack.
Second of all, you are putting it in a way that implies that Hinata did that only once, and you are wrong.
At some point of someone consistently doing the same thing you have to admit they either do that maliciously or that they are plain stupid.
I'm just gonna bring a few examples (that I talked about before over and over, but I'll do that again, especially for you)
Shimamaru: almost died
Hinata: "But I want to stay beside Naruto too"
Does she care? No. Naruto-kun. That's all she cares about.
But maybe that's because they weren't too close, because who cares about a person from your class that is your comrade in war, he's not Naruto-kun.
How about her own teammate BEING CARRIED OUT BY MEDICS?
The oiment Hinata has is more important for Naruto-kun, who is completely fine.
Who cares about Kiba, he is just being taken by medical team, but he can be an afterthought, they are just teammates after all.
How about her family?
Neji, who will be punished for hurting her (because, as you recognize YOURSELF, it's before Naruto vs Neji fight, so the punishment WILL BE THERE), who asked her TIME AND TIME again to just give up. Why will he do that, huh? Maybe because he had known what happened TO HIS FATHER FOR JUST THINKING ABOUT HER IN A BAD WAY.
Anyway, how about making Neji hurt her, then provoking him by RUBBING IT IN HIS FACE THAT HE IS BELLOW HER?
Neji just said (again) that she should give up and stop the suffering, she just casually mentions that he is "lost and suffering" because he's not in the main family.
(And before you say it was nice of her, NEJI AND THEREFORE MANGA showed us he didn't appreciate it, and the guard also saw that Neji was provoked and WAS ABOUT TO CHARGE AT HER FOR THAT COMMENT)
But ok, maybe they weren't close enough of a family, so it was acceptable to provoke him and get him to be punished, because you know...
Naruto-kun is watching, so...
How about closer family? How about her own sister?
(Now, I don't like to quote the movies because I prefer to base my opinion on canon manga only, but you, Hinata Fans, love it, so let's go)
(Credit to whoever made it, I can't find the original)
Hanabi was just kidnapped, but Hinatas mind is occupied, because well... Naruto-kun đ„ș
BUT OK, MAYBE, JUST MAYBE, THEY DIDN'T HAVE ENOUGH OF A BOND BETWEEN THEM TO CARE.
Let's look at the person who took care of her for her whole life, her guard, her family, let's look at Ko:
Oh wait, we have already seen it.
It doesn't matter who it is, if it's her comrade, friend, teammate, cousin, sister, guard. If that person is not Naruto-kun, their life or well being is irrelevant to Hinata.
She cares about Naruto, that's it. Nothing else and noone else matters.
Do you understand?
So back to the beginning:
At some point of someone consistently doing the same thing you have to either admit they do that maliciously or that they are plain stupid and when it comes to LIFE OF OTHER PEOPLE I'll say that it either way makes you a bad person đ€·ââïž
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So, in conclusion:
I did read your ask, I just assumed (and that is my mistake, I apologize) that if you are protecting Hinata, you shoud know first thing about her, but not only you didn't read the manga, you didn't even read the parts that had Hinata in it.
So, please, first read at LEAST chapters that have Hinata in them, before you speak (It's not a lot, she is a background character after all) or I'm not gonna answer to you again, because I'm tired of repeating myself for a 1000th time.
I saw someone saying Sakura is "yang-coded" as in she is the yang to Sasuke's yin, and people were agreeing with them. But like... isn't Naruto literally the yang??? AND the sun, which I also see people saying it's actually Sakura?
I swear, all this fandom does is gaslight people, sometimes even I forget what's canon because I feel insane with so many people telling me my takes are stupid and delusional because akshually the truth is in some novel written by a random person and the manga doesn't count because "Kishimoto hates women!" or whatever.
What's crazier is that it wasn't like this years ago, people used to be more self-aware, but I think that's because most fans have moved on and nowadays most Naruto fans left are: 1. het shippers with heavy emotional attachment to their mid pairing because they liked it when they were 10, 2. powerscalling incels and 3. people who haven't read the manga at all and just enjoy the fan content (and unfortunately think they can have opinions too, which usually are whatever is trending because they wanna fit in)
Just soooo tiring. I don't know how yall keep the energy.
i wish reading this after being enough desensitised with the stupidity and mental gymnastics in this fandom didnât feel as revolting as it did. i mean- how much homophobic and delusional and dishonest it can get? saying sakura was âthe earthâ/âthe starsâ or whatever to fit her in a dynamic she doesnât belong and doesnât exist was already too much, but trying to justify saying sheâs âyang-codedâ/âthe sunâ just so she can (artificially) complement sasuke when naruto is LITERALLY those things, because naruto is the one to complement sasuke in every possible way (and iâm talking about naruto uzumaki written by masashi kishimoto, and not sakura haruno written by some paid fanfiction writer), is beyond any lack of reading comprehension, itâs just dishonesty. and whatâs worse is that seriously saying naruto and sasuke are gay and intentionally written to be gay will probably get you more reactions in the naruto fandom than saying something so absurdly false as this shit, not that i care, in the end i trust my reading comprehension more anyway and this fandom has proved me several times how itâs a scarce skill. and yeah, highlighting your 3rd paragraph, anon, because i couldnât agree more.
it is tiring indeed, i think i can only keep the energy because i curate my experience in this fandom and i block people for much much less than braindead takes like this. itâs not worth giving them the time of your day.
Can I just go on a rant about how much I hate them forcing naruhina down our throats? Like idk if you know about it, but there's a really popular naruto game for playstation called "naruto ultimate ninja storm", and there's 4 of them. The first one covers all of the events of part 1, the second one everything in shippuden up to the pain arc, the third one everything after that right before the war, and the fourth one is the whole war and the final fight. After the fourth one's events, they made some side quests in the adventure mode which briefly shows some of the characters lives after the war, but no one's story is as forced as hinata's. Not only can you not skip it like you can skip the others, but there's literally MULTIPLE small quests that have to do with her and ppl tryna pathetically force her and naruto together đ even SAI (??) to make things worse, sasuke, an objectively really important character both in the story and in naruto the MCs life, is nowhere to be seen. Ik he's traveling at this point but they could've easily shown him writing letters to naruto or maybe have naruto go on an adventure to meet him somewhere, but nope. Instead they have sakura playing matchmaker and telling naruto to take hinata around the world to different important places in naruto's life to show her his adventures (including the final valley!! that really pissed me off đĄ) and the whole time naruto's just confused why he has to do alla that đ like that cringey quest not even working makes the whole thing even more annoying and pointless. It felt like they were kinda incorporating the last movie's storyline into the game. And the one with sai has him literally call hinata an angel and every other konoha girl the devil bc they dared to call out naruto's flaws, but good little missy hinata bug eyes princess hyuga kept finding good in every one of his bad flaws so she must be a sweet little angel đ she worships him like he's a God and they call it being in love. I mean naruto and sasuke are in love with each other and neither worships the other so đ„Ž the quest was basically the konoha girls getting together to tell hinata about naruto's flaws so she can know him better if she wants to pursue a relationship with him. like the whole thing is so fucking cringey and weird idek where to begin with it. Like first of all who the fuck are all the girls tryna tell hinata about naruto as if they even know him that well? Besides sakura who still doesn't even know him well enough to give that kinda advice. But also why the hell is sai complimenting the hell out of hinata as if he even knows who she is? Like other than the last movie he has no idea who she is and canon shippuden sai is under the impression naruto's in love with sakura so it makes no sense for him to do this. Another one has hinata's sister analyzing naruto to see if he's good for her and once again naruto's just confused. In fact he doesn't even know who she is until she tells him and he realizes they look alike đ This whole thing is so obviously the very definition of forced. First we have to witness her in canon and now I can't even play a game peacefully without miss "n-n-n-n-n-n-naruto-kun đđ»đđ»" or other ppl praising her highness being shoved down my throat đ I like that they made naruto confused the whole time tho, at least that was ic. Wish sasuke was in it more tho. I'm glad at least they didn't have that happen to him cuz that would be too far for me đ I don't wanna have to witness weirdos approaching sasuke to shove sakura up his ass like they do with poor naruto. Anyway rant over, I'm gonna read narusasu fics to fill the hole in my heart now :/
Hi <3
âCan I just go on a rant about how much I hate them forcing naruhina down our throats? Like idk if you know about it, but there's a really popular naruto game for playstation called "naruto ultimate ninja storm", and there's 4 of them. The first one covers all of the events of part 1, the second one everything in shippuden up to the pain arc, the third one everything after that right before the war, and the fourth one is the whole war and the final fight.â
Ofc, you can always come and rant <;3 (I myself had to hold back so much to not go on a major Hinata rant after reading this though đ) Ah yes, I actually planned to play the fourth one and the one thatâs coming out (storm connections). Other then having seen some gameplay and trailers Iâm not too familiar with the games yet.. I do find it interesting that they always exploit teen-SNS for promotional material even if their adult-selves are the subject of the promotion and how Naruto's always next to his son when they're around the same age, lol.
âAfter the fourth one's events, they made some side quests in the adventure mode which briefly shows some of the characters lives after the war, but no one's story is as forced as hinata's. Not only can you not skip it like you can skip the others, but there's literally MULTIPLE small quests that have to do with her and ppl tryna pathetically force her and naruto together đ even SAI (??) â
You can skip sqâs except for Hinataâs đ„Č? Well, Iâve never seen âthe Lastâ, but thatâs exactly what they do in that movie, right? The entire plot is to force a version of a dumbed down Naruto that suddenly lacks all development and emotional intelligence for the sake of miss princess to then âscrewâ (Boruto; bolt) them together through Naruto's utter confusion and canon retcon because he'd never otherwise, lmao itâs so pathetic. Instead of giving us a proper blank period story they come with this bs. So Iâm guessing the story in the game went the same direction...Â
âlike that cringey quest not even working makes the whole thing even more annoying and pointless. It felt like they were kinda incorporating the last movie's storyline into the game.â
Ah yeah.Â
âto make things worse, sasuke, an objectively really important character both in the story and in naruto the MCs life, is nowhere to be seen. Ik he's traveling at this point but they could've easily shown him writing letters to naruto or maybe have naruto go on an adventure to meet him somewhere, but nope."
He is canonically just as important as Naruto to tell the story (harmony), but do you really think that if they've actually shown Naruto meeting up with Sasuke during the blank period that it's then possible in any way to make the sequel happen the way it is now and force every traumatized-from-war-etc-19yo to marry and have babies as quickly as possible? No.
Every time I start typing the reasons why I end up ranting so I gave up, but you'll understand why, yes? đ Too much happens when they're around each other, both in text, subtext, body language and emotion. If you want anyone to believe Naruto and Sasuke are happily married with wives (they're not happy) then they should avoid this. Alas.
"Instead they have sakura playing matchmaker and telling naruto to take hinata around the world to different important places in naruto's life to show her his adventures (including the final valley!! that really pissed me off đĄ) and the whole time naruto's just confused why he has to do alla that đâÂ
Nooo ffs! Poor Naruto!!!!!! đ©đ© But yeah, this does sound like the things I read about her movie where Sakura plays matchmaker so her and Hinata can 'help' each other (sure girlie, well played), where she smacks Naruto and calls him an 'idiot' idek how many times because they are trying to tell him he's in love with someone he's not... ... but VotE??? They really went there huh? (literally) đ Lol Iâm just imagining Naruto talking excitedly about Sasuke or even Iruka during his tour, because anything important has nothing to do with her personally đ âoh yeah, I had my first kiss in class... it was with đ„°Sasukeđ„° actually, but you know where that is... aaaand here we are in the middle of Konoha, hehe, Hinata remember you wanted to commit suicide here for your own sake because you wanted me to acknowledge you for a minute? Except you disregarded everything else because you knew you didn't stand a chance anyway and you didn't mind trading that one minute of selfishness for the life of your Hyuuga-slave who would lose his head for you disobeying him and putting yourself in danger? And also ignoring what I and everyone else said and wished for because you just had to be so fucking selfish.... uh, your own words hehe, and you didnât give a shit if I would feel guilty for the rest of my life for seeing a friend die in front of me, for my sake because you were the only one not trusting me? Even though I was in despair for not having an answer to the Akatsuki for a responsibility dumped on me, ah! Not because I wouldn't be able to do anything but you clearly don't have any faith me at all which is something I struggle with a lot because I want everyone to trust me y'know? Like the village does now... at least my power.. :/ ... I mean I guess.... and also because my trauma caused me to bear this responsibility of keeping what I thought was my only source of acknowledgement (the villagers) safe until I met Iruka and Sasuke, but then you said "fuck all!!!"... yeah no I almost heard you say it hehehe and it almost caused me to kill the entire village if it wasn't for my dead father????? Yeah HAHAHAaa eh, anyway let's move on. Oh! Over there, when I was with đ„°Sasuke đ„čđ„°, lemme tall you about đ„°Sasukeeeeeđ„°-â
âAnd the one with sai has him literally call hinata an angel and every other konoha girl the devil bc they dared to call out naruto's flaws, but good little missy hinata bug eyes princess hyuga kept finding good in every one of his bad flaws so she must be a sweet little angel đ she worships him like he's a God and they call it being in love. I mean naruto and sasuke are in love with each other and neither worships the other so đ„Ž the quest was basically the konoha girls getting together to tell hinata about naruto's flaws so she can know him better if she wants to pursue a relationship with him. like the whole thing is so fucking cringey and weird idek where to begin with it. Like first of all who the fuck are all the girls tryna tell hinata about naruto as if they even know him that well? Besides sakura who still doesn't even know him well enough to give that kinda advice.âÂ
Oml. Here I went off-topic initially to complain about the villagers of Konoha who bad-mouth Naruto and all.. but we get how ridiculous it is that they are the ones thinking they know anything about Naruto when he represses everything for other people's sakes, right? Right. Also, lol, not only does Naruto have to give her an entire tour, she also goes to a Ted-talk to learn about him đ? Isn't it the other way around in that movie where Naruto is stuck in a genjutsu (which is impossible at that point/retcon) to get a power point presentation about her to brainwash his dumbed-down self? "You love Hinata 101" That's kinda funny ngl. Girlie stalked his ass her entire life and only steps out of the shadow if she can profit from it in terms of acknowledgement and yet even after they are married knows nothing about him nor can say much about him to Boruto and leaves that task to Sasuke because she only knows what everyone else knows which is nothing more past the superficial surface HA!
âBut also why the hell is sai complimenting the hell out of hinata as if he even knows who she is? Like other than the last movie he has no idea who she is and canon shippuden sai is under the impression naruto's in love with sakura so it makes no sense for him to do this. Another one has hinata's sister analyzing naruto to see if he's good for her and once again naruto's just confused. In fact he doesn't even know who she is until she tells him and he realizes they look alike đâ
Well yeah, what do we expect from Sai.... Ajgharoguhwrgj I've seen things about characters 'doubting' whether Naruto is good 'enough' for princess Hinata even though... *gestures aggressively at the Manga*. They're used as mere trophies at this point :/
âThis whole thing is so obviously the very definition of forced. First we have to witness her in canon and now I can't even play a game peacefully without miss "n-n-n-n-n-n-naruto-kun đđ»đđ»" or other ppl praising her highness being shoved down my throat đ I like that they made naruto confused the whole time tho, at least that was ic. Wish sasuke was in it more tho. I'm glad at least they didn't have that happen to him cuz that would be too far for me đ I don't wanna have to witness weirdos approaching sasuke to shove sakura up his ass like they do with poor naruto. Anyway rant over, I'm gonna read narusasu fics to fill the hole in my heart now :/â
Yep, but yeah I personally am happy that Sasuke is not made to be a part of that including the parts in Naruto's life that should've been a happy memory when they all end up in a disaster. That would've been contradictory would he have been by his side. I know many people have disagreed with me in the past but I stand by what I said; seeing them both miserable makes sense. It's also not what I wanted, but at least those parts are IC given we're already at this point. I don't want to bore you with a lot of marketing talk, but this is all part of its strategy. Kishimoto is the author and creator of the original Manga, but he isn't a businessman. Nor are the people in business necessarily storytellers. Professional storytellers (except for Jun Esaka, 'author' of retsuden, who's probably someone's niece or something) are hired to accomplish a goal. Everything beyond the original story goes through an entire web of business-related processes which by itself has nothing to with Kishimoto or the story but is often designed to expand a franchise and doing anything possible to make members of the audience into consumers and active participants to broaden the experience. Hence why games and such are media channels used for 'exclusive' content. These are considered a part of what we call content-mapping and they usually separate goals or subjects that need extra attention... Also, bet most of you didn't know that 'the Last' came with over 30 different types of exclusive merch and even 2 separate books to boost Hinata :') It's insane really. The main character isn't the main priority because it depends on the strategy.. which is kinda really screwed when you think about it because I do wonder how it would've played out if Naruto and Sasuke were đ„č So yeah, it all makes sense, but it's not fun. Hope you were able to find some good fics though *-*đ§Ą
Analysing Kushina's âfind someone like meâ
I have seen this discourse for years and how people take her words out of context or misinterpret it so I'll give an explanation here.
Many fans claim Hinata wasn't fit to be with him because she was nothing like Kushina and I personally believe Kushina didn't mean similarities in personality but their feelings and love for Naruto.
1. Hinata believed in Naruto before anyone else did
Usually parents are the first people to have faith in you. Kushina had that too, and Hinata saw his potential just by watching him from afar. She believed in him from the start, just like Kushina.
2. She loved him even when he was at his lowest point
Parents who selflessly love their kids love them with all their flaws and mistakes. Kushina's love for Naruto was similar to that. Hinata admired Naruto when she was the heiress of the most prestigious clan of Konoha, while he was literally seen as a âloserâ or worse âmonsterâ. She saw him at his worst and still found him the best. She loved him with all his flaws, just like Kushina.
3. She loved him more than her own life.
If there's one thing they completely had in common was they loved him more so than themselves and never expected anything in return. She loved him selflessly, just like Kushina.
4. She was willing to give up her life to protect him
I don't think I need to further explain this one. She was prepared to die if it meant he'll live, just like Kushina.
5. She helped Naruto when he needed it the most
Kushina met Naruto to help him with suppressing Kyuubi's chakra, which we all know, how important it was for Naruto to do so. Hinata knocked sense into him when he was losing hope in the middle of the war. She helped him in a crucial point in his life, just like Kushina.
In conclusion, I'd like to say that I always believed Kushina meant to find a woman who will love, help and be there for Naruto like she did, rather than something superficial as same personality. Hinata loved Naruto exactly like Kushina did, the only difference being one is motherly, the other is romantic. So in my opinion Naruto did find someone like her
And if any of you try to bring up Sakura, I want to point out that yes Sakura cared about him and saved his life and more similar to Kushina's personality (which I already debunked is irrelevant) but here's the thingâ Sakura is already out of the equation because she loves Naruto platonically and Kushina was talking about romantic love.
PROPAGANDA
HINATA HYUUGA (NARUTO)
1.) When Hinata was introduced she goals, weaknesses, interesting interactions and relationships with characters other than naruto and a personality of her own. Post timeskip in shippuden, however, she was reduced down to simply 'naruto's future love interest' and little else. The entire Hyuuga plotline was dropped and she no longer had any relevance or personality outside of naruto. Part 1 hinata was shy and insecure on the surface but underneath that she was determined & hardworking, even to her own detriment. Her struggles were compelling. Her interactions with neji and her family are something you look forward to seeing more of. In shippuden she's like a flat carboard cutout of hinata. Her shyness exaggerated, her relationship with her family suddenly perfectly fine and boring. In part 1 naruto inspires her to keep trying but he isn't the reason she's working so hard, in shippuden he's pretty much all she thinks about. Her change in character design really highlights these changes - the perfect little wife for cishet men to fantasise about.
2.) Her entire personality and arc is boiled down to âshy uwu waifu in love with Narutoâ and basically any development she gets, which is barely at all because Kishimoto hates women, is as attributed to NARUTO and Naruto only. Even her reaction to her beloved COUSINâS DEATH makes her be like âomg I love Narutoâ and serves to further NaruHina, which is absolutely insane she would Not react like that. Naruto only starts being romantically interested in her at the beginning of like, The Last movie, which is after 500ish episodes of her being treated as the sidelined love interest who is devoted to a guy who only cares about her when sheâs a damsel in distress on a fight.
There are so many parts of her character that are/could be interesting, like her part in the Hyuga Clan due to being born as a superior and her dynamic with her cousin Neji as a result, (which could have had SO many great moments of reconciliation and standing up for each other grrr grrr) an exploration of the impact of her bullying & being looked down upon (even when sheâs supposed to be a superior member, which adds to the shame) LIKE MANY OF THE CAST, seriously the people Naruto trauma dumps to are mostly consisted of people unfairly treated like that and it could have been used to further NaruHina WHILE showing her struggles
She is an incredibly capable fighter but the moment Naruto is there, she instantly becomes defenseless and needs to be saved by her crush, mostly as a âwow look at him isnât he so brave and kind to do this for her?!â
Thereâs an episode where she is literally used as a defenseless punching bag for Pein by trying to sacrifice herself for Naruto and telling him she loves him, JUST so he can be more angry and have more motivation to beat Peinâs ass (aside of the yknow. Killing his loved ones thing) AND her confession is ignored by Naruto for the rest of the series. Just like any moment she shows her crush for him is met with obliviousness, which would be fine if they werenât the main couple and didnât go on for THE ENTIRE SERIES!!!!
In Boruto, the shitty sequel, Naruto is basically her deadbeat husband in her bland lavander marriage and Boruto is rightfully mad about Narutoâs distance from the family and even says he left her basically a single mom and barely pays time to the family, and Hinataâs role in the show as the housewife is being like âno you see Boruto you have to understand your fatherâs pov as the Hokageâ and the narrative treats NaruHinaâs marriage as a Good, Healthy Thing as if the characters are not miserable in this marriage.
3.) Man I don't even like her that much but she deserved SO much better. She was introduced as the heiress of a really powerful and renowed clan with complex dynamics, yet the author somehow decided to do almost NOTHING with the potential she had, and gave her very little personality besides being shy and fawning over the protagonist. She gets slightly more active in Shippuden (part 2), but her character still pretty much revolves around her love for Naruto, which sucks because again, she has so much potential. It's no secret that women in Naruto are badly written, and Hinata certainly is no exception. The male characters get dozens of episodes/chapters about their motivations, their backstories, what pushes them to keep going, and Hinata gets almost nothing besides her lifelong crush on Naruto that we are reminded of literally every time she's on screen.
NIKI NIHACHU (DREAM SMP) (CW: Bullying)
1.) Ohhhh my FUCKING GOD okay. So first off, MCYT (Minecraft Youtube) is not synonymous with the Dream SMP. The Dream SMP is MCYT, but not all MCYT is Dream SMP. I just want to make that clear before I start. (Also, the DSMP characters are referred to with a c! in front of their name, and the person playing that character is referred to with a cc! in front of their name.)
Anyway. So Niki, right. The Dream SMP had a LOT of ccs, and I canât remember all of them off the top of my head but I think there were likeâŠfour women? Out ofâŠgod, at least fifteen people, maybe twenty? Which would have been fine, Iâve seen worse ratios. But the thing is, a lot of the male ccsâ fans were uhhhâŠnot great about treating cc!Niki like a person. Weâre gonna move on to her character in a bit, but cc!Niki got bullied, harassed, and criticized no matter what she or her character did.
c!Niki is either a mean girlboss or gentle and nice. When I saw people talking about c!Niki while the DSMP was active, their views of her were very one dimensional. Maybe part of this was because cc!Niki didnât get a chance to develop her character as much as someone like cc!Tubbo did. One of the DSMPâs fatal flaws was a lack of communication and organization, andâŠyeah. It was very difficult for white male ccs to organize people for lore, but for cc!Niki it wasâŠalso bad. The misogyny that cc!Niki experienced from fans is inseparable from the misogyny that c!Niki also received. Itâs a really shitty package deal.
OH AND ALSO. You know how the DSMP ended by getting like, wiped from existence or some shit I donât remember. And Dream did this without letting the majority of the ccs resolve their characterâs stories/arcs? Will it surprise you to learn that afaik cc!Niki wasnât informed about this at first? Yeah. Overall she was just treated horribly by everyone and so was her character.
2.) Literally only like three people ever did storylines with her, two of whom immediately dropped it as soon as something else came up. She didn't even get to officially participate in the revolution despite repeatedly offering aid, and eventually ended up just. Building her own underground city. To have something to do. The only people to actually include her in storylines consistently ever were the anarchists, toward the end of the server.
3.) ok, so, the thing is, this isnât just about the DSMP. historically, in mcyt spaces, women content creators have been harassed and treated terribly by fans (and talked over/ignored by other ccs and the fandom) for, essentially, daring to be women, and niki has been subject to that. cc!niki (the real life person, for those who donât know mcyt player/character differentiations) was/is really good friends with cc!wilbur soot (i havenât been keeping up with this corner of streaming recently but assume this is the case). however, despite being close irl friends and working really well with one another, niki had to deal with endless bullshit from people who shipped her and wilbur (and people who didnât!!), so much so that they stopped streaming together for a while. this is just some background so you understand the baseline weâre working with here. (this is going to be more of a meta analysis on how cc!niki was treated by other ccs, as thatâs my specialty and also in a rp space it affects how her character was played) (fan treatment of her also factors in a lot here since fiction is highly affected by realities like this in mcrp) nikiâs character in the dream smp, and the lore she had (she went from a kind baker to one of the last holdouts against a tyrannical government, to a broken girl resorting to revenge for stability, to someone who was finally able to find healing and support in a safe space and worked to do the same for others) was largely ignored or disregarded by both fans and the other content creators on the server. hell, when her best friend died nobody even bothered to tell c!niki! she had to find out from his own goddamn ghost! (can you tell iâm mad about this?) she put up with so much shit on that server, in-character and out, and never even got to have a fucking break about it. justice for c!niki!
what do you think about narusaku
Short answer: donât care
Longer answer: I wouldnât say theyâre my favorite friendship/platonic relationship but I do enjoy their dynamic and I know itâs one of of Narutoâs more important non-sasuke (ie non romantic) relationships. Honestly I prefer their dynamic in like later part 1 than shippuden bc it was fun how they were both obnoxious and rude and I feel like later in shippuden as well as in like fanon it gets kind of boiled down to a âsmart girlboss stupid himboâ friendship which I think is boring and does a disservice to both their characters.
I donât like the ship because 1. I think naruto is gay 2. Do you remember that time she tried to fake a love confession to naruto to get him to stop chasing sasuke while he was actively trying to assassinate the 5 Kage which included gaara and tsunade. And it still didnât work. How could I ship literally anything else. I have eyes. and 3. HATEEE how so many nrsk shippers frame it as like. Naruto âdeservesâ Sakura as like a reward for all his ~hard work~ and like the only way for Sakura to truly see the error of her ways and atone for being mean to him as a kid (which like. The worst thing she did was say naruto sucked because he was an orphan but like Naruto didnât even know about that and she said it to the one person in Konoha I think most sensitive about being an orphan. Besides that she was like mostly just a normal 12 year old girl reacting to a boy she didnât like having a crush on her.) is for them to end up in a romantic relationship. Nightmarish.
Like. I guess if pressed I could see how people would prefer it to nh, since theyâre like friends and have an existing relationship i guess. But like thatâs NOT enough to get me to like a ship. Like why would I choose between flavorless garbage from the dumpster (nh) and flavorless garbage from the compost (nrsk) when I could enjoy a gourmet Michelin star 5 course meal (sns)
#nartposting#anti narusaku#just so hopefully it wonât show up in the tag i do not want to deal w those people
