Do you think hinata in her prime can beat neji in his prime? I see a lot of people saying that hinata would beat neji only because of her hamura power boost, but possessing a lot of chakra doesn't necessarily equal boost in skill. Karin has massive chakra reserves but sakura can still slap box her to oblivion. Or am I wrong?

No I agree with you, Hinata's prowess in combat didn't actually change after receiving Hamura's chakra. It's main purpose was to give her the unique ability of destroying the Tenseigan, that's it. The thing is though, we can't really say what a prime Neji was like, because he was killed before he reached his prime. However, in terms of pure talent and innate ability, no Hyuuga came close to Neji; this was reiterated multiple times by different people.

For instance, Hiruzen said that it was no exaggeration to label Neji as "the greatest genius in Hyuuga clan history":

That's why I'm convinced that had Neji been able to grow up with the rest of his peers, and reach the peak of his endless potential, this would have only continued, and he would have still been the strongest and most talented Hyuuga in the history of the clan. Because no Hyuuga came close to Neji's brilliance, that's just a fact.

Yes yes, you're referring to this post. Shortly after I had made my post regarding how HInata didn't surpass Neji and how he was the most gifted Hyuuga in history, someone replied and directed me to the post you're referring to, and I must say, that was a horrible post. At no point did they ever prove how Hinata had surpassed Neji in actual combat ability. I'll break it down in the same manner as I did with the other person who replied to me, but I'll do so in greater detail since my response to them was limited by reply lengths. Now, I'm obviously not hating on Hinata here, but whenever someone spreads false information, I'm going to correct it, regardless of whatever topic or character the misinformation is directed towards.

Their 1st point was about how Hinata surpassed Neji in visual range from even before their fight during the Chuunin Exams, but that doesn't make her a better fighter. Being able to see further than your opponent doesn't mean you have superior combat skills. Case in point, she still got manhandled by Neji, despite her longer sight range, so that means nothing. What good will seeing 10km ahead do for you, when your opponent is right in front of you?

Their 2nd point was the most ridiculous one. They claimed that she surpassed Neji in combat ability just because she can do the Twin Lion Fist. But again, how does that make her a better fighter? Just because she can do a unique skill doesn't automatically make her better than someone who can't use that skill. Naruto can't do it either, so does that mean she's better than Naruto now? It's preposterous. They claim Hinata surpassed every other Hyuuga in ability just because she can do the Twin Lion Fist. Yet, she can't do the Rotation, and she barely managed to do the 64 Palms late in Pt.2 during the War arc, both of which Neji had already taught himself to do from early in Pt.1, and are integral parts of Hyuuga combat.

Their 3rd point was about stamina, and they start off with by saying how Hiashi said to Kizashi that Neji and Hinata were equals, but he clearly wasn't talking about their fighting ability, so that person was just desperately twisting his words there. The context was about how the Main and Branch families now stand side by side on equal ground, equal status. It obviously had nothing to do with them being equally skilled in combat. Then they used another ridiculous example to prove how Hinata had superior stamina - How Neji was injured and fatigued whereas Hinata wasn't after a certain point. However, when fighting a large scale war with many enemies, not everyone is going to fight an equal number of enemies, that's just a given. Neji was shown fighting a larger proportion in comparison to the others. The person even said how Kiba wasn't injured or fatigued, so by their own flawed logic, this means that Kiba is a better fighter than Neji with superior stamina as well. Is that actually the case though? I'm certain that the universal answer to that question, would be of course not.

Their 4th point claimed how Hinata surpassed Neji in agility, but their evidence didn't even demonstrate any examples of agility. Neji was using the Rotation to deflect thousands of sprigs at once, so he obviously found it difficult to keep up with those astronomical numbers. Hinata deflected one sprig to save Naruto, and they think that's proof she surpassed Neji? How? How does that demonstrate superior agility of all things? It's not like they were jumping around and dodging the sprigs; they were deflecting them. If anything, it shows Neji's superiority, to deflect thousands of them simultaneously, by using a technique that Hinata couldn't do.

I'm sorry but that post was awful, nothing they said shows how Hinata is a better fighter than Neji. Having longer sight doesn't make her a better fighter, she doesn't have more ability, they weren't said to be equals, and she wasn't shown to have more stamina or agility either. Their point about agility didn't even say anything regarding agility, so that just demonstrates their lack of credibility. I know that ranks aren't everything, but there's obviously a reason Neji was the only one in the Konoha 11 to make Jounin during Pt.2. Temari and Kankurou also made that rank, while Gaara was promoted to Kage, and I would definitely place them ahead of the Chuunin Konoha 11 in terms of combat ability, at least during the beginning of Pt.2

Hi, she looks nothing like Sakura. If we can choose any women that Sarada resembles it would be Karin. But Naruto was right by saying that she looks like Sasuke because she does not have any physical trait from Sakura expect her eye shape but you have to look really close to notice that. Sarada has the colors of Sasuke and in some angles even her face shape resembles his. She also has similar face expressions to his. Kishi’s resentment towards SS is so big that he would rather make Sarada look like some other woman than her mother. Even grown up Sarada still does not look in any way like Sakura.

They have similar personalities (Sakura is just a bit softer spoken, while Ino is a bit softer in behavior), they play very well of each other and I love me some girl power!

Ino is everything I love in a character:

1. She is SO DAMN SMART.

The fact that Shikaramru is a strategist of the group is such a waste.

12 yo Ino pulled one of the biggest Uno reverse cards in manga, and people forget about it because they disregard Sakura vs Ino fight, which is a BIG MISTAKE.

Ino was aware that Sakura knew her technique well, and she still played Sakura like a toy. She pretended to have a full-on mental breakdown to make everyone believe the fight was over and that she had "lost it"

Just to fulfill a genius strategy she made up on the spot???

She was 12, and she fooled EVERYONE (including Shikamaru, who has the highest IQ and should see right through it).

That was and forever will be ✨️ Iconic ✨️.

Even during the written exam, she had one of the best ways of cheating (only Shinos and Sakuras (because she didn't cheat at all lol) were better):

Ino is amazing, and I hate when people disregard her. Is she as strong as Sakura or as smart as Shikamaru? No, but she is still incredible and a force to be reckoned with.

She is definitely one of the most incredible and one of the strongest (in her own right) femal characters.

She wouldn't win with Sakura or Temari in one on one, but she would smash both Hinata or TenTen and be a big trouble for the rest of Kunoichi.

Konan is not my favorite - her personality is meh for me, but I can admit she is well written and crazy strong.

TenTen is not in manga enough, for me to have many feelings about her but... TenTen with Bashōsen??? Queen ✨️

Chiyo had a great character arc.

Anko, Hanabi, and Shizune are awesome for me too - their introductions always get me SHOCKED, and I love it for them.

Kushina and Kurenai are a bit reduced to "I love my man/family" so I'm not as interested in them as individual characters, but I like them well enough.

I respect Karin, Tayuya, and Karui for being honest. I hate a hypocrite, so them being so unapologetic in their behavior makes me at least respect them. I like Karin's character development, and I love me a smart and strong woman so 🤷‍♀️

From the new generation:

Sarada is fire. How can you not love her? She's a girl boss (so far) as well, also a child of Sakura and Sasuke??? GIMME MORE.

ChoCho is a fun character with an interesting idea, I hope she gets more development!

I just hate that one boring and rude character. One that makes my blood boil and my feministic heart bleed with RAGE, but that's not the focus of that post, so 🤷‍♀️. Oh, and I dislike Himawari for what she did to Naruto on the day he became Hokage. The most important day in his life and it all went to sh*t because of a brat (and not in the Charlie XCX way, in an annoying and disgusting way).

She is just incredible. I started to write the whole paragraph about it, but I like to add manga as a proof and Tumblr has limits on pictures I can add, so Ino's greatness will get her own post and now I'll just list it.

Ino is:

Intelligent AF (she is thinking on her feet, makes great strategies, and fulfills her plans masterfully);

Master of her jutsus (that girl connected the whole shinobi alliance because why not AT 16. AS A CHILD. Not to mention taking control of biju away from Madara and Obito, again, AT 16 YEARS OLD;

An amazing inventor, like what she did to Konohas barrier??? Girl boss.

And she is, without a doubt - an incredible friend.

Ino is hot-headed, and when you don't read the manga as a whole, it's easy to think that Ino is somewhat "rude" but then you have to ask yourself:

Because if we are talking about Chioji, then people need to reread the manga.

Ino even used her jutsus on Choji to take on Asuma, when Choji was too emotional/scared to fight on his own.

Just to give him the pep talk. Even though when she is in someone else's body, she is sustaining ALL THE INJURIES. She went against her own sensei, a junin, a member of Twelve Guardian Ninja (bodyguards of the Land of Fire's daimyō), to give her friend some emotional support.

Side-note, being mad at Ino for calling Choji fat as a teenage girl makes me laugh because this is Asuma at 31 yo calling him a "fatso":

Ino had no reason to help Sakura when they were children. Ino was talented, popular and smart.

They met when Sakura was bullied and beaten up by their peers. She was so tormented by classmates that when she was beaten up by sound ninjas, Ino had seen it as nearly the same.

Ino was Sakura's biggest protector, when they were children

And even later, after they "broke off" their friendship

(Mind you, sound ninjas are from Orochimaru. They are not on the same level as the rest of the genins. They managed to beat up Lee, who is FAR stronger than Ino-Shika-Cho)

And after Ino protected Sakura, when she had all the reasons to gloat about, she thought this

Ino jumped into a battle against an opponent many times stronger than her, for Sakura. Just to protect her friend, that was nothing but "rude" towards her in years (and vice-versa lol).

That's the friend in Ino.

She even fixed Sakura's hair, so Sakuta feels less insecure during the rest of the exam. She didn't have to do it. Why would Ino give a sh*t? They are not teammates. They are not even friends, and yet, Ino cares.

They do fight like cats and dogs (like any good friends do), but Ino is THE friend of Sakura.

1. Honey, you need to learn that correcting you is not hate or a "mean girl" behavior.

When you go into the real world (like when you go to high school or uni), people will correct you. You need to learn that when someone is correcting you, that doesn't automatically = insulting you.

It's ok to be wrong and admit when you are corrected.

2. Facts are facts whether you like it or not.

If Kakashi states something in manga, it doesn't matter if you think "HE IS STUPID" - if it's a canonical fact it is a fact. You disliking the truth won't make it go away.

3. You dissliking Konoha/Naruto/Kakashi doesn't take away from their importance to the story.

You can dislike whatever characters etc. you want - I don't care, but trying to say, "I dislike Konoha so Sakura helping to save it is irrelevant" is indeed funny.

World doesn't work like this.

4. I'm not writing a fanfiction (I'm not that creative, lol) and I gave you manga as proof.

You don't have to know it by heart, but checking before making a claim is important if you are that afraid of being corrected.

● Like yes, Sakura is essentially immortal.

She can be cut in half, stabbed (even with the same weapon) and be a literal human shield, because she has byakugou. If it's a manga fact it's not a fanfiction.

It is an opportunity, whether you like it or not. It's canon that madara is thinking about her and they can attack.

Also

She is stabbed AND 100% FINE.

In that exact situation she is indeed immortal. You disliking it wouldn't make it any less canon.

That's why you should read the manga, because those things are literally there, for you to SEE.

5. Media literacy is important, glad we agree - time to use it.

You can't say, "That's not manipulation, that's level of a bullying teenager," as it's gonna mean anything - when you are referring to TEENAGERS. They are like 15 there, so they are teenagers. Sakura was indeed a manipulated, bullied teenager in that scene.

That manga is about teenagers and children🤷‍♀️

(Also, are you trying to say that teenagers can't be manipulated? Like, you see why that's funny?)

6. Those mistakes are funny.

I have a feeling that you are a very young person, (that's why you take correcting you so badly) so I'll explain it in the nicest way possible.

Those mistakes are funny, because you are making stuff up without checking with the source material.

So I didn't even have to wait two days before another Sakura fan decided to interact with me just to try and lather up. Congratulations! You guys are really making a name for yourselves.

Once again, I had correctly tagged my post, and once again, someone who clearly has no interest in arguing with me decides to do so.

You know, you really have to read this manga through SasuSaku or Pro Sakura meta to believe that Sakura is anything other than a damsel in distress.

Arc 1: Sasuke has to wait for Sakura to wake up after Kakashi throws her a genjutsu. On their first mission, Sasuke had to come between her and a random ninja. She cries when she thinks Sasuke is dying.

Arc 2: She lectures Sasuke to move and save Naruto while she… does nothing but throw a kunai to keep Naruto from falling. Sasuke must save her. Then she must be saved by Ino's team and Lee against Sound. When she fights Ino, it's Naruto who has to encourage her to regain control. All along, she's been crying non-stop.

Arc 3: She doesn't listen to Naruto when he wants them to flee against Gaara, interferes, faints and has to be saved by Naruto and Sasuke.

Arc 7: Naruto knocks her out and she almost falls off the bridge. Sai refuses to save her, so Yamato has to. Then Kabuto has to heal her. She decides to attack Sasuke and Yamato is stabbed while protecting her. Then Orochimaru must stop Sasuke from killing them all. She cries when Sasuke leaves.

At the Kage Summit, she cries when Shikamaru is being a pain in the ass, she cries when she heals Karin, she cries instead of stabbing Sasuke and she cries after Naruto promises to die with Sasuke. She put herself in a shitty situation, endangered Sai, Kiba and Lee and had to be saved twice.

During the war, she runs into Madara, without a plan (she wanted to make herself look cool in vain, like you), gets stabbed, Naruto has to save her and she's sad that Sasuke doesn't pay her any attention. Then she fails to stab Obito in the eye and he has to save her from Madara. Then she almost falls into the lava and Kakashi has to save her, but all she can think of is that Sasuke doesn't pay her any attention.

It's true that many characters save each other, but in her case, she never stops crying during these situations. And in Naruto's case, even though I hate him even more than Sakura, he doesn't cry as much and is capable of much more than she is. Kishimoto even gave him the ability to heal ripped-out organs to show just how unnecessary Sakura is to this team.

Now to the "points"

1. This is just funny.

1.1 She wasn't born a genjutsu master.

In the bell test, Sasuke didn't have to wait for Sakura to wake up. He could have just go on with the test. It was never stated that Sasuke could get the bell only when he "saves" Sakura (by waiting, I guess), Sasuke decided to wait till she woke up. He wanted to wait for her just like he wanted to feed Naruto, but it makes Sakura a damsel in distress, but it makes Naruto and Sasuke "good friends 🥺", huh?

Also, that only shows you didn't read the manga or you have 0 media literacy, because that just proves how awesome and hard working Sakura is.

Her first fail was getting caught in genjutsu, so you know what happened next?

She became so incredible at genjutsu that she was one of 2 (or 3 if you include Shino) genins who could resist it like it's nothing. A girl with no real power was put in one box with "Konoha elites".

And this time, it's not a training genjutsu, it's a serious one, made by Kabuto (a person who is, according to Kakashi, on Kakashis level). It's a beautiful proof of her character development - if you can read it without hate colored glasses 🤷‍♀️

1.2 She did her job, but there were people stronger than her.

You mean, when she did her job? When she was first to protect the guy ALL OF THEM WERE MEANT TO PROTECT? When Sakura, no clan, no talent, no special ability, just a girl DIDN'T EVEN FLINCH, and was ready to d*e for a mission she was assigned? What a "damsel in distress" 🙄

She wasn't in front of him and she didn't have a kunai in hand. She had to think fast and jump in front of a guy she was supposed to protect! SUE HER!

And again, she did the right thing, the best she could, but she had to be helped by someone stronger than her and it's "a crime", meanwhile Naruto had to be helped hundreds of times by someone stronger than him and it's "ok, he did his best 🥺".

1.3 She cried when someone died

You really didn't read that manga, huh? Like dude, it was supposed to show how unfair that world is.

It's even directly commented on in manga. Sakura explains that Shinobi shouldn't cry, and this is the comment:

"So this... this is what Shinobi is.. it's unbearable"

She didn't cry during the fight, she stood her ground as long as it was needed, and when the immediate danger passed and her comrade died - she cried. CRAZY!

It's not like they are all crying when someone dies - ITS JUST SAKURA.

Lee didn't cry when Neji died.

Kakashi didn't cry when Rin died.

Naruto didn't cry when Haku died!

Noone ever did it.

Thats why its so incriminating, that this 12 yo girl cried, because noone else ever did.

2. That's just stupid

2.1 She didn't personally win against Orochimaru.

She did what she could. Do you expect her to jump in front of Orochimaru and be a hindrance or help where she can from the sidelines?

She just saved Narutos life, but because she didn't personally smash Orochimaru - she is not helping? Wake up, because this is just embarrassing 🤷‍♀️

2.2 She saved her teammates' lifes

She got beaten up badly, but she was still fighting. She got stabbed many times AND WAS STILL FIGHTING.

And what did Lee and Ino-Shika-Cho do? Exactly, nothing. Because those sound guys were strong af.

But Sakura still fought them, and she gave enough time for Sasuke to wake up because spoiler alert - if she didn't fight, the sound ninjas would just slit throats of Naruto and Sasuke and... the end. Manga ended 🤷‍♀️

2.3 She broke a special clan jutsu.

Is so funny that I can't even respond to it. With no clan and no special power she broke a special, advanced clan jutsu WITH HER ONW HEAD, but because her friends were cheering her on... it's her weakness?

Even Kakashi said that what Sakura achieved is "almost impossible" but it's bad that she did it? Like?

3. She saved the village and it's... bad?

Are you aware that it's Sakura who woke Naruto (and made it possible for him to win against Gaara)? And she was a driving factor for Naruto to fight?

But no, Sakura was a reason for Naruto to fight Gaara, and it's Narutos achievement, but when Naruto helped Sakura to get out of Inos jutsu... it's... Sakuras weakness! Got it. 🤣

And not to mention, she saved Sasukes life, but who would look at such trivial things 🤷‍♀️

Let me remind (or inform) you that Gaara was about to k*ll Sasuke, and stopped (attacked in a weaker way) when and because he saw Sakura. So Sakura is the sole reason they are both alive, but who cares, right?

7. Her teammate attacked her and she still healed that teammate and didn't even tell him that Naruto was the one who hurt her to spare him the hurt - how crazy!

I don't know if you noticed, but both Sakura and Naruto did nothing exept getting knocked down during that fight, both had to be healed and its not bad for Naruto, but it is bad for Sakura... because...?

They lost the battle, they both did nothing, neither did Yamato. Orochimaru (and Kyubi Naruto) are just too strong 🤷‍♀️

Also, don't forget how did they even get there! If it wasn't for Sakura, they wouldn't meet with Sasuke at all.

Sakura got the location.

Sakura helped Yamato to look like Sasori.

Sakura heald Naruto.

Sakura found Sais book and busted his plan.

Not to mention, that Sakura was the only reason why Tsunade even let them go there.

Also, crying after Sasuke left is hilarious to me because if you would read the manga, you would know that this happend:

Naruto fell to the floor and had a literal mental breakdown, and it was Sakura who was cheering him up.

● Crying

Again, with the crying "argument" - they all cry, as long as she does her job - it's irrelevant if she cries. Naruto cries more, Lee cries more, they all cry. BUT I'll entertain you:

She cried because she was manipulated and blamed for Narutos decisions (that are later confirmed as just Narutos decisions).

She cried, healing Karin, because Karin is an enemy, but at this point - Sasukes enemy is not Sakuras and it's depressing af BUT SHE IS STILL DOING HER JOB.

She couldn't kill Sasuke just like the rest of them, Naruto couldn't, Kakashi couldn't - it's depressing.

● Saving Sai, Lee and Kiba

She didn't endanger Sai, Kiba or Lee - she was forced to take them and then saved their lifes by leaving them. If Sasuke saw them - all 3 would be dead. It was a s*icidal mission - so she went there ALONE. FOR. THAT. EXACT. REASON. 🤷‍♀️

● Attacking Madara

This is funny because if you read the manga, you would know instead of spreading a misinformation that it has a CLEAR manga explanation.

I'll break it down for you as easily as possible:

Sakura, at that point, is immortal.

Madara is fast, and for the rest of them - getting stabbed by Madaras rode means death (Sasuke almost died from it).

Sakura can get stabbed and go on.

If the rod is blocked by Sakuras body, the rest of them are safe and can attack Madara.

So Sakura Is a diversion.

She even states it herself.

Madara is surprised, and THEY CAN ATTACK.

The plan is clear, and it's not her fault that they decided to ignore a clear and logical plan. That's on Naruto and Sasuke. 🤷‍♀️

● Not following orders from enemies (Obito)

She didn't fail to stab Obito. That's just stupid. She was healing Naruto and the main villain, the guy who started the war, the guy who WAS THE ONE THEY WERE FIGHTING AGAINST - asked her to do something.

Just because Obito had a revelation that Naruto had known about - doesn't mean that Sakura should follow his orders without asking questions. That would be plain STUPID. And then, when Obito explained why he is "a good guy now" she didn't have a chance because in THE next panel - MADARA JUMPED IN. In anime, they made it look as if she had time to do it, but in manga? No.

If you want to be mad at someone, be mad at Kakashi because he HAD time and many chances to take Obito down, but he canonicaly - hesitated.

I'll give you a quote because I can't add more pictures. Obito to Kakashi:

"YOU DID HAVE SEVERAL CHANCES TO KILL ME IF YOUD REALLY WANTED TO."

● Being sad that your teammate didn't care that you would die

She thought that Sasuke would let them both die, it's not like she stood there and wondered "why wouldn't he kiss me 🥺" or "Wow, he has such manly hands 🥺" - SHE WAS SAD THAT HE JUST DIDN'T CARE IF THEY DIED. Sakura saved Sasuke many times, but he would let her die. That's sad 🤷‍♀️

● Naruto's "healing"

This is just wrong, Naruto had that ability for a short period of time and never again. I don't even know how you can think like this when SAKURA HAD TO HEAL NARUTOS HAND LATER ON.

So I didn't even have to wait two days before another Sakura fan decided to interact with me just to try and lather up. Congratulations! You guys are really making a name for yourselves.

Once again, I had correctly tagged my post, and once again, someone who clearly has no interest in arguing with me decides to do so.

You know, you really have to read this manga through SasuSaku or Pro Sakura meta to believe that Sakura is anything other than a damsel in distress.
