Do you know who hate women more than men?
Women that ship a (non canon)gay couple and there’s also a girl in the picture(the canon girlfriend/wife/love interest of one of the male characters).

I just want to say; sasuke being gay isn't a "headcanon" for me. It's pretty much canon. Naruto being gay is canon to me too, but I respect people who also see him as bisexual. There's honestly not much room for denying their queer coding and the queer portrayal of Naruto as a story.
And, Sakura's character is used in the story as a device to turn down heteronormativity. The way she comments on events, and the way her feelings canonically dont reach/touch Sasuke nor compare to Naruto's is proof of it.

It really hit me while re-reading Sakura’s confession to Naruto how superficially she talks about him, even when she’s supposed to be expressing love.
She says she finally saw "Naruto’s true self", and that she’s like the rest of the villagers who idolize and respect Naruto for having saved the village. She loves Naruto because she saw him becoming a powerful ninja, and she seems to think this is who Naruto is deep inside. She’s like every Konoha citizen who considered Naruto worthless when he was a child, but loved him and admired him when she discovered that he had become a hero.
Her confession seems even more superficial when compared to Sasuke’s feelings about the "mischievous prankster loser"
Sasuke understands that Naruto pulling pranks on people was a way for him to create bonds with others. He knew this from the start, and it’s actually something about Naruto that touches him. Sasuke’s the one who saw who Naruto is deep inside, and he likes him this way.
But Sakura isn’t able to see this. She doesn’t understand Naruto. She doesn’t even understand why Naruto wants to save Sasuke, when even Shizune (who isn’t particularly close to him) could.
She talks about Naruto like he used to be a worthless brat who turned into a beautiful butterfly. Because she doesn’t understand his motivations, she treats him like a child: she takes actions "for Naruto’s sake", deciding that she has to kill Sasuke to protect gil, even when he explicitly told her he wasn’t motivated by the promise he made to her. She tries to manipulate him into not chasing after Sasuke, because she’s convinced Naruto does all of this for her, even after someone else TOLD HER that Naruto wasn’t doing it for her.
Overall, Sakura doesn’t love Naruto even as a friend. He’s more of someone she admires and can use as a support, but he’s not someone she sees as a full human being. She likes the idea of him. Kinda like how she feels about Sasuke, actually…

Do you think Naruto is gay or bi?
I think Naruto is gay.
The first interaction between two potential love interests is particularly crucial for setting expectations and establishing the connection between them.
Naruto and Sasuke's first meeting established the tension and rivalry between them but also managed to hint at the romantic undertones in their dynamic with a ship tease moment so iconic that it was
Thought about during Sasuke's dying moments and included in a list of other positive moments as the reason why Sasuke's body moved on it own to protect Naruto
It's the face of the "Accidental Kiss" trope on TVTropes
It was replicated, and subverted, to help set up the potential romantic relationship between their own children, Boruto and Sarada
Naruto and Sakura's first interaction is a completely different story. Naruto transforms to hear Sakura's opinion about him, and ends up hearing Sakura state that she dislikes Naruto and only desperately wants the acknowledgement of Sasuke because she likes him. And what does Naruto respond? He states that he finally understands why he likes her. HELLO? The hero of the manga states that he finally likes the heroine because she likes another boy, his rival to be exact, and wants his attention. It's almost like, Naruto too liked Sasuke and desperately wanted to receive Sasuke's acknowledgement and through this was able to relate to Sakura and project onto her.
Now in order to gain another perspective and try to lessen my bias, I took a look at the opinions of narusaku fans on one of the gayest scenes in the manga, and their belief was that this scene established that Naruto really and earnestly loved Sakura because he respected her dedication and hard work in terms of trying to attract Sasuke. And this explanation is particularly funny because not only is that still gay, but also, we never particularly see Naruto devote extreme attention to admiring Sakura's "dedication." In fact, we only sparsely see Naruto praise Sakura's hard work and it is never in a context that is related to Sasuke.
But you know what we do see? Naruto daydreaming about saving Sasuke. Naruto being extremely happy that Sasuke acknowledged in a text where the desire for acknowledgement is foregrounded as a romantic ideal. Naruto getting, and I'm not making this up, a tingling sensation in his lower parts when receiving acknowledgement from Sasuke.
And there's something more curious. When Sakura begs Naruto to bring back Sasuke, he states that Sakura must really like Sasuke. And then he states, I know how much pain youre in because of Sasuke. I can understand.
Now this is another big narusaku moment, and note that it happens because of Sasuke. This moment is celebrated because it's meant to prove the depths of Naruto's hetero love for Sakura and the lengths he's willing to go for her.
And yet, we have have the power of hindsight. We know that after this moment, Naruto will spend so long chasing Sasuke to the point that it will draw the ire of dudebros and become a meme. We know that Naruto will acknowledge that he is chasing Sasuke because he wants to, outside of any promise. We know that Sasuke will attempt to kill Sakura and threaten to kill every last person in the leaf (which again, includes Sakura) and Naruto will look Sasuke in the face after that, smile, and tell Sasuke that he was happy to have met Sasuke. And we know that when asked to explain the nature of his feelings he will say that ultimately, he feels pain for Sasuke, the same pain that's foregrounded as a romantic ideal in the manga.
Do you see where I'm getting at? Naruto's first interaction with Sasuke was used to establish the unique nature of his dynamic with Sasuke, while Naruto's dynamic with Sakura, the person that were supposed to believe he had a serious and intense heterosexual crush on, was used to foreshadow a bond primarily sustained by the mutual desire for another person.
And Kishimoto is aware of this fact.
I mean look at this scene between Konan and Yahiko. It's a classic romantic set up for an intimate moment. Yahiko and Konan are alone in a room. Konan bandages Yahiko after he's injured. Their eyes lock and they lean in... and we'll you know what's implied.
Now compare this moment to Naruto and Sakura sitting alone in a hospital during a moment that's a classic set up for a romantic scene. I mean things are going great. Naruto is being healed by Sakura and states that his new and dangerous jutsu is no big deal as long as he's got Sakura around to fix me. Naruto looks at Sakura and fondly smiles about how he likes the way things are now. And the moment is tense... why does Naruto like the way things are now? Is it because he's intimately close to Sakura? Let's see what happens on the next page?
NOPE! Naruto is happy because it feels like he and Sakura are on the road to finding Sasuke together. This moment actually makes me guffaw everytime I read it. I mean it's actually comical how Naruto managed to divert the potential romantic nature of a moment that could have been used to build upon his bond with Sakura. But it's also.... very in character for him. Narusaku is always relegated to comedic moments lacking in heartfelt pathos. At its core, it's always been centered on Sasuke.
I won't even bother addressing the Naruto and Hinata dynamic. There truly is nothing of note in their 40 pages and that's why SP had to cobble together scenes, some of which were stolen from Naruto and Sasuke's dynamic, for a genjutsu movie where Naruto was repeatedly insulted for the crime of not paying attention to Hinata.
But the main point is that none of the evidence that Naruto is supposed to be interested is women is meaningful in its own right. I mean if anything, there's a strong argument that it's a result of compulsory heterosexuality. If I dig deep I can think of maybe one scene where Naruto shows attraction to the woman that was used to trick Jiraiya. But is it enough to convince me of deep attraction when the main character's primary foible is acting in particular ways in front of other people to fulfill expectations of how he should act? Well, no.
Especially with all the other host of evidence that points to his attraction to women being a farce. At one point his reaction of "attraction" to a sexy jutsu is deliberately juxtaposed with Sakura's reaction to the sexy boy jutsu in the same chapter and yet the nosebleed that is supposed to signify attraction, the same one that Sakura has, is very obviously missing. Again, this is the same Kishimoto that was able to show Naruto "tingling" when he received the acknowledgement that he desperately wanted from Sasuke.
It simply doesn't add up. Even more so when you compare Naruto's indifference to Sakura's "attractiveness" with the fervor he uses to defend Sasuke's handsomeness.
But anyway, this post is only the tip of the iceberg. The gay or bi Naruto question has been discussed at length in the fandom. The most comprehensive posts I've seen about this are here, here, and here. You'll see the way SP deliberately added narusaku scenes to compensate for Naruto's behavior in the manga. I also like this post about narusaku's "dates" in the manga.

narusaku is a gross ship, she treats him like her brother. Sasusaku is a toxic ship, sasuke doesn't deserve sakura. Naruhina is a boring ship, it's like they don't even like each other. Kibahina would've been better. Sakura, naruto, and sasuke probably should've been alone💀 narusasu isn't a bad ship, I just don't like it. If sakura was with anyone, ino would've been better. I only like sasusaku because of Sarada, but we all can admit that sasuke was a piece of shit even after they got together.

EXACTLY what do these Sakura stans want?!
They just can’t get it through their thick heads that Sakura is literally the most useless female lead out of the main Shounen girls.
She’s NOT useful like Nami who basically drives the plot by not getting the straw hats lost.
She doesn’t even heal as well as Orihime who can literally bring characters back from the dead! SHE WOULDVE SAVED NEJI!
Like stop setting yourselves up if you can’t handle the truth 😆
Sakura can NEVER compete with my orange princesses 🥰💕

Its funny how Ichihime fans compare their pathetic ship with Naruhina to make it seem more valid. Honestly, those two ships have nothing in common. Naruto has always believed in Hinata's strength. He outright invites her to battle with him in the War. When has Ichigo thought Orihime was strong or encouraged her?? He has done all those things for Rukia, the girl he loves. When a boy truly loves a girl, he appreciates her strength. It honestly annoys me When Orihime fans compare her to Hinata when they are not alike at all. Hinata is more like Rukia than any other girl in Bleach. Orihime was an extroverted person who was shy only around Ichigo. Hinata was an introverted person like Rukia. Both Hinata and Rukia were royalties. Both of them had a lot of expectations and burden on them. Both had stoic elder brothers whom they really loved. Neji and Byakuya were initially indifferent or somewhat cruel to their sisters until they got sense beat into them by Naruto and Ichigo. Naruto and Ichigo fought hard to mend the relationship of their girls with their brothers. Only they understood how much the girls were suffering because of their brothers, no one else could understand them like their boys. Their stories are so similar. They grew closer to the Protagonists for how hard they fought for them. Seriously every time Hinata and Rukia are hurt or kidnapped Naruto and Ichigo show resilience they have never shown before. They became better persons due to the influence of their girls. Their girls encouraged them, pulled them out of darkness and became their light. They are also tied by Red String of Fate. When their girls left them, they became depressed. I can go on and on about how similar Hinata and Rukia are and How Naruhina is similar to Ichiruki not Ichihime. There's a reason Naruhina is so popular while Ichihime is bleh. Both Naruhina and Ichiruki are my Otps. When anyone compares Naruhina to Ichihime it just annoys the hell outta me.😒
THIS THIS THIS!!!
I've always thought IchiRuki & NaruHina have similarities! Glad someone else sees this! 😭 You even brought up some points I hadn't thought about!
They both also have Sun & Moon symbolisms & official titles. Hinata's colors are purple/lavender & white like Rukia. Ichigo & Naruto have orange & even black? Other similarities with Hinata & Rukia, as u mentioned, are being associated with "princess" like Hinata the Byakugan Princess & Rukia's zanpakuto is called Sode no Shirayuki (Shirayuki is the JP name for Snow White), the Hyuuga heiress & the Kuchiki heiress, & you're so right on the introvert part! Both so brave in the face of danger, willing to sacrifice themselves for those they love... I think they would've gotten along & even admired each other for their resilience & kindness.
Ori & Hinata may have some superficial similarities (pretty & nice big-boobed girl who likes the MC) but it doesn't go farther than that! Hinata & Orihime are very different people. Ichigo & Naruto are very different too. Their dynamics are completely different. NaruHina is very popular & beloved even to this day while IH isn't 🤷♀️. Hinata is very popular on her own unlike Ori...
I also can't stand when ppl compare Rukia & Sakura. They also only have superficial similarities; tough, small-breasted, & being the FL of a battle shounen. Their personalities & values are completely different, tho, as well as their dynamics with Ichigo & Naruto. While I came to tolerate Sakura & support SasuSaku, I've never been a fan of hers.
There's actually an amazing meta here in which OP compares Orihime & Sakura & their dynamics with Naruto & Ichigo. They're eerily similar...
It just gets on my nerves when ppl compare NH & IH. I once made a post on most of the major differences between them. I even mentioned how NH & IR could understand each other thru their eyes. I would've liked to elaborate further on these dynamics with manga panels, but I no longer feel like going over it. It's been years, I'm happy with NaruHina, so I'll just leave it at that.
When Bl3ach ended & ppl were comparing NH & IH, it ignited me to make my first written post on here, haha. I did a couple others like this added reblog & some silly posts. You can also explore the NH & anti Naru/Saku tag on my blog to find reblogs of similar posts.
Thanks for sending this, anon! Fellow NH & IR shipper! 🫡

I honestly can't take people seriously saying that Naruto loved Sakura just because he had a teenage crush on her, I don't know if you don't have a lot of experience in your life to understand the difference between loving someone and having a crush, or If you just don't understand the plot and narrative to realize that everything about Naruto and Sakura in the manga was done just for the joke. I also don't know how many more times we need to show the development of his feeling for Hinata throughout the manga, which is much more mature and intense, of recognition and admiration for her than anything he felt for Sakura. I also don't know how many more times Kishimoto needs to explain that it was always about Hinata since the beginning, or that they got married at the end and had two children. It was always about Hinata. Naruto loves Hinata. Sakura is just a pretty girl.

Being called homophobic from shippers of non canon mlm couples, meanwhile they fetishized gay people and sees them as objects of their own fantasies and not real people.Treating women as baby machines, forcing sexuality on people and stripping down their traits to adjust them to their ship.
And then they go:“But the author and the character never said they were straight!😡”
The same character that only had girlfriends/have a wife and kids/has only been interested and sexually attracted to women.

Someone said that if Sakura died Sasuke and Naruto would go crazy for her.
Which made me laugh, because 1. Sasuke tired to kill Sakura. And 2. Naruto didn't give a fuck when Sakura went after Sasuke, knowing damn well she had no chance. And the fact Kakashi even said she was going to die, but did he do anything? No, he didn't.
So I don't it was kinda funny to me.

They fail to see sakura tried to kill sasuke for konoha but naruto would die with sasuke at the expense of konoha
I believe this is about this post, in which case, they don't really fail to see it. They're quite aware of the fact that Sakura was going to kill Sasuke for Konoha and that Naruto wouldn't have. It's just that when they pretend to be social justice warriors that care about Sasuke and his arc, they wrap up Sakura's behavior in a bow and twist things in order to make her actions more palatable and make themselves look less like hypocrites for condemning Naruto.
So that's how you get arguments like "Girlboss Sakura is a fighter for human rights and she would have totally supported Sasuke but she tried to kill him because she was manipulated by Sai."
I mean this one only has 16 likes but it's a very common argument that's peddled in SS circles. They dislike canon Sakura so much that they'd rather argue she, who the reader was repeatedly told (but not shown) was intelligent, was so foolish that she was manipulated by Sai, someone who had an entire arc centered on the fact that he couldn't understand emotions, instead of accept the fact that she was motivated by her own desires.
Sakura had already believed that Naruto was being motivated by his promise to her long before she spoke with Sai, and even Shizune AND Sai could recognize that Naruto was motivated to help Sasuke in his own right. Sakura was simply not invested enough in understanding Naruto and the reasons behind the actions he took.
And further, Sakura herself was aware of the fact that Naruto wouldn't have wanted Sasuke to be killed anyway, hence her giving a fake confession and attempting to dissuade him from caring about Sasuke. Her true motives were to "save Sasuke" by killing him. And SS are also aware of this fact and in fact, praise Kakashi for "understanding" this aspect of her.
You see. There's no coherence to their arguments. They don't care about Konoha. And they don't care about Sasuke, though in that respect they're quite like canon Sakura.

The supposition "Naruto is bisexual" was created mainly to make NH become a little better.
But the greatest effect is a cover for the fact that there are many people can't interpret situations Naruto refer Sakura as his crush (including admitting she was his girlfriend in front of Konohamaru and friends, or in front of Minato) were actually about. It was used not only by NH, Sakura stans, narusaku (NSK), but even SNS shippers.
Regarding the SNS, major of them treat the couple like their other ships. In term of 'canon', they considered themselves as underdog. SNS absolutely love their ships, but NH and SS was priority. They will support Hinata or Sakura or both, with their own willing or for not being misogynist. But their egos don't feel right. Because their "passionate love" and "should have been love" crashed each other.
Everybody is not stupid and blinds, except for self-incest incels, NH, SS, NSK.

Why does kishi constantly need to remind the reader that Sakura is a female.
Like Naruto was just asking her to take a break because she just spent energy healing him, not because he was calling her weak. I don't know why she feels the need to
1) Add the word female.
2) Accuse Naruto of calling her weak.
Another example:
It's being thrown into your face that she's a girl, and that gives me the impression of "Wow, a girl can be strong too!" Honestly, if you add the word female or women after every accomplishment, it makes it look like Sakura is the exception and that women are normally weak and/or usless. It would've been completely fine if she just left it at "don't forget about me!" I don't see what both of you being women has to do with it like just punch the damn alien already.
But no one says it better than knuckles
A true feminist Icon

Okay I hate it when Sakura stans do this.
No Sakura is not an example of “hard work” THAT title clearly belongs to Lee.
Sakura was supposed to be naturally talented to begin with which is why they highlighted her not having to cheat on the written chunin exam. THAT is her special ability and while I admit that she was shafted from showing off that ability in the fourth war arc in favor of being a Sasuke fangirl, this is a huge flaw nonetheless and shows just how abilities can be overshadowed by arrogance and selfishness. I guess in this way Sakura is a good example of wasted potential vs everyone else in the series besides Tenten (whose wasted potential is more so her lack of screen time rather than missed/botched opportunities) and it only highlights how little Kishimoto cared about her when she doesn’t get redemption AND gets REWARDED for her selfishness by being canon with Sasuke.
Sakura is just what she always wanted to be, an Uchiha c*m dumpster and blank vessel to rebuild the clan. Which btw failed because how tf does Sarada need glasses???? 😂
It’s just hilarious to me that compared to Sasuke
Who FAILED as an Uchiha at first.
And Naruto
Who also FAILED at first
Are being called “special” compared to someone who probably did the least work out of the team. Work that didn’t even start until the LAST chapters of part one when she was picked up by Tsunade because she was the last one left out of the main team without a master.
Like really? Sasuke and Naruto who started working on being ninjas BEFORE Sakura even decided to be one had to work less than her????
They try this shit with Hinata too. Hinata who was trained since she was in diapers before even getting into the academy worked less than Sakura who was smart from the get go even though she never trained or even belonged to a clan that would’ve began her training long before the academy????
Sakura isn’t a damn hard worker, she’s a Mary Sue
