Long post is long! So I answered everything under the cut below!

Do they have a daily routine?

Uhhh yes? But its mainly the runners routine. Get up early - earlier than most in Abel. Breakfast. Pick up running rota from Sam. Depending on when theyre needed they either spend the day running or fixing up Abel/dealing with repairs/training in the runners areas. Then the evenings are mostly to themselves, but they tend to help Janine out a lot and have an early night.

What traits do you and Five share? Which ones are purely Fives?

Oh my gosh I have no idea? Five isn’t a self-insert so they differ from me in lots of ways. Uhhh. I asked a few friends for their opinion on this and they they said the following:

What color(s) do they wear the most?

Honestly? Probably a dark red. Mostly because I headcanon that Abel’s uniform is any red/maroon shirt they can find.

When’s their birthday?

Nobody knows (: They’re rather forget everything about their life before the apocalypse and do not want to reveal anything that can trace them back to the person they once were. Sam figures it out of course (but he’ll take that information to the grave)

How do they celebrate it?

They dont (: although their friends throw them an annual ‘adoption day’ party, to celebrate the day they joined Abel

What’s their ‘default’ state?

They’re actually quite quiet (I mean, theyre mute, but you know). They’re a bit of a wall flower. They like to listen, which is what makes they a perfect match for Sam, who likes to talk.

Do they have a survival mode they put on? Or are they think about that kind of stuff all the time?

Childhood trauma means theyre always in survival mode :D Although they can relax more nowadays thanks to feeling safe with their pals.

If they ‘put on’ a survival mode, what sets that off? 

New people, or people of authority. They are very affectionate in general, but people tend to have to prove themselves to them. They find it easier to trust new people as the seasons go on.

Favorite place to be?

Do they have a pre and post run routine? What’s that like?

Theyre quite good at being mindful of warm ups/cool-downs and stretching. Other than the things expected of them, such as a decontamination shower, the only real post run routine is that they never really say goodbye to Sam before a run, and he doesnt say bye either. Feels too much like inviting bad luck to do so.

What do other characters associate them with and why?

Sunshine and big smiles. Sunflowers. But also like... Garbage lmao.

They’re closest with Sam, as the two of them tend to understand each other better than anyone else in Abel. But Simon is a close second. Simon and Five have a ride together or die together kinda friendship. I cant remember specific episodes, but there are specific moments where everyone is like ‘lets throw Five into this severely dangerous situation because they are Runner Five and theyre most likely be okay’ and he is like ‘???? Lets not ???? That’s ??? Actually fucked up???’ He’s the easiest for them to be goofy with too.

How would these characters describe them and why? Whether it’s true or not

Brave to the point of idiocy. Self-sabotaging. Goofy and silly. Loyal. Dependable. Tragic.

What’s a precious object they have? Why is it special?

They arrive at Abel with nothing except the mullin’s uniform (which gets burnt they decide theyre not going back) so they dont really have anything from the before. Most objects are like massive spoilers so imma not mention them. But the thing they cherish more than anything - which is not really an object - is when they get their own room. Theyve never really had a proper home before.

Who will they take advice from, no matter what it is?

17. What is something you recently felt proud of in your writing?

Hmmmm hard to say. Honestly, my length!! My ability to write longer stuff has vastly improved just in the last year or so. Its made me feel really good about putting out chapters and oneshots because it doesn’t feel like I puked them up and served them up. I also feel like ive been a lot better about not being surface level with stuff im referencing or using as symbolism. Its not always the case, im NEVER immune to corny heartfelt shit but I actually like that corny heartfelt shit a lot so ofc im gonna write it even if it makes people roll their eyes sometimes. 

23. What’s a story you’d love to write but haven’t even started yet?

Okay so this is something that will almost certainly never be written for many reasons, but one main one that will become clear in a second:

I was playing with the idea of an adventure time and gravity falls crossover, in which we go back to that moment when Simon asks prismo to bring back Betty. Instead of crashing out when prismo says he cant, Simon says “fine, put me somewhere where she is” and prismo says “hey man. There’s gonna be a major monkey’s paw twist to this. You aint gonna like it.” Simon says do it pussy and he does! Bing bang boom Simon is sent into the universe in which gravity falls resides and oh my! He’s been basically inserted into the body of the Simon residing there, hijacking his life. Moral quandaries abound, but Simon’s in gravity falls so hes immediately attacked by gnomes. Shenanigans happen, he meets the pines family (leaves out almost all details of his life conveniently) and he’s like listen I need to find Betty. Mabel’s super on board and we get a fun quest to find Betty because this world’s Simon hasn’t met her!

Except, huh. Weird. There’s things here that ring a bell but not quite. The news is ominous when he catches it. Political unrest across the world. Talks of weapons greater than nuclear. Essentially godlike in their powers….oh no. Simon realizes that the mushroom war is far more imminent than he imagined. He has possibly weeks to find Betty, but it might all be for naught, because the world is about to end. And his new friends, everyone he’s met, and almost certainly himself will die a horrific death. So now he has to grapple with that and decide what to do. Should he warn them, thus revealing his true identity and his hijacking of himself for a woman who doesn’t even know him? Or stay silent and alone in his impending doom? Titled: sisyphus’ guide to the pre-apocalypse. 

Okay so thats really fucking dark!!! It’s a little too dark for an adventure time and gravity falls fic!!! Sometimes I use it as a thought experiment but I really dont think it jives with the vibes and messages of either media, you know? I love uber dark stuff, just look at the podcasts I listen to, but I really only write uber dark stuff when its appropriate, you know? I cant see a light at the end of the tunnel for this one. So, into the scrap pile she goes! Not really something I’d “Love to write” per say, but its the only thing that doesn’t have a least a few sentences in the google docs

27. Are any of your stories inspired by personal experience?

Not really, tbh, probably not in the sense this ask is wondering. Not even my migraine fic No Excuses, tho I DO get severe migraines now!!! If I could write it again I’d write it from my experience which is really nothing like Eugene’s. 

A lot of my personal views and philosophies carry over, though. Ford’s desperation to keep working in part because he wants to feel like he achieved something in my body is young (but my mind is very old) ? All me baby. My views on ghosts are deeply prevalent. And yellow and johns interactions in o brother, where art thou? is me and my sister through and through. I cant of any specific experiences ive done. That said, theres a one shot with vampires in my wips, and the vampires in there are COMPLETELY just me and my girlfriend. Stealing out bits and squabbles beat for beat. also panic attacks are pretty accurate to how i've experienced them but who in this day and age hasn't had a panic attack or two so i barely count that.

fur starters, he isnt THE beezlebub, thats his dad who he was named after. he has no mom or mother figure to his knowledge, but hes fine witj that. his dad kept him hermitted in hell like all his life to like pass on family knowledge that Bee couldnt care less about. he has no actual age but id like to think he's the demon equivalent to a teenager.

he escaped from the pit once his dad died for reasons unexplained(i havnt thought aboug it yet) and came in the form of a parasitic type millipede and decided to take over Bryson's body.

Bee, since he was isolated, is still confused about human customs a lil bit but he likes music and sweets. and also animals, he loves animals so much, his favorites being seals and arctic foxes. animals r so much better than humans tbh. his favorite sweets are meringues and any sort of gum.

he likes his true(ish) form a lot but at first sam dean and cas all restrict him from transforming unless neccesary cause his creepy crawliness freaks them out. they warm up to him though,mayb a lil too mucj but whagtever!

despite being all demony and monstrous n shit hes quite introverted. cauz he was isolated by pretty much everyone except his dad. tjat messed him up for a bit and when he first met the guys he was hostile and was almost killed by them. havent thougj about why they didnt but itll come to me :P

ok so Bry is a 16 year old highschooler(yes he's 16 sue me) whos closetted trans and gay, and who obviously cant afford any sory of hrt or surgery. he used to live in London so hes got an accent but when he was 12 and his older brother was 16 they ran away from home. tjey were on the run ever since and js ran so far they ended up in Chicago and decided to stay there.

he and his brother both had to work shitty jobs on the side and when they could finally settle Bry went to school which was the worst descision he ever made, in his opinion. he went down a spiral, drugs, cigs, self harm, and by the end he was about to kill himself. just before he shot himself, Bee showed up, and Bry just kind of agreed, as long as he wasnt behind the wheel anymore. he and Bee talk a lot in his head, theyre friends.

Bry likes midwest emo and rock music but he's open to a lot. his favorite food is mac and cheese, close second is grilled cheese sammiches. he loves art, especially surrealism and anything witj bright colors. he also enjoys his brothers company even though he was mostly out working for the both of them. he also lovess both the sky and the sea, hence the starfish pendant(cas got it for him)

his personality is fairly the same as Bee but its more serious. he hates talking to strangers and avoidex everyone at school. he wasnt exactly bullied, just kind of teased in a friendly matter, but he didnt like it either way. he hates mosy people. he also has a dog, named Bug, he and Bee visit Bug sometimes back at his and his brothers place.

Platonically - lil bit of a father figure, just cause of the age gap, he feels compelled to care for him like he did with Sam(and we all know how tjat worked out)

Romantically - basically groomed them into liking him, which worked like a charm. he still loves them a bunch though, no matter if it was slightly toxic

• Sam

Platonically - he relates to their pain a lot, even if he is iffy with demons. a little harsh to him at first but once they both warmed up tjey were buds

Romantically - knew it was wrong, knew he was a teenager, still went for it because he was cute and he was nice to him. Sam genuinely folds for anyone who shows him an ounce of positive attention

• Castiel

Platonically - finds him odd and intruiging. again, hesitant cause he was a demon, it took a longer time for him to trust them and he still has reasons to be weary, but he's not too hostile so he trusts him enough

Romantically - has no idea about laws and stuff so he never once found it wrong, love is love type shit. but hes very caring towards them and gets him little trinkets he knows he wpuld like

all in all, this guy SUX!!!! he is fucking three guys centuries older than him but whatevar they all love eachother

but actually his was so fun to do i love whenever my f/os love me. which is all the time. and yes i did purppsely make him illegal as a treat.

Woe, give me your hcs for kamipon / almighty. Im curious bc of what little is known (to my knowledge)

im surprised im being asked bc i feel i get rarely asked unless i request for, well, asks.. well il just go over what i think is canon and then into hell (my headcanons) CANONWISE: the kamipon/almighty is pretty obviously meant to be the insert for the player, like you literally play as almighty and get to chose a name (albeit has to be 4 letters long). hero is moreso his own guy, but you also get to pick a name within pata2 & pata3, so in a sense hero is an extension of the player? hopefully im not wrong i dont think theres much about what was the previous almighty, as i still need to like. replay the game, but for all i know the patapons take the player as the returning almighty rather than a new almighty. take that with a grain of salt

HEADCANON: okay how do i even start. quick clarification AGAIN is that these are made up, and even gets into topics such as colonialism. if you dont like reading that stuff or like the idea that the patapons are colonialists, feel free to like. not read :sob: firstly i gotta explain this: there are many groups of patapons that exist, and most of them back then before the construction of patapole were often nomadic. while some did decide to stay put, the largest group (often just being called the patapoles) are the ones that the game itself follows were originally nomads. many patapon groups have their own idea of earthend and what it represents. while the patapoles believe earthend to be a real place (a promised land and such), other groups saw earthend as either haven or essentially a land for gods and spirits. the patapoles own take on earthend end up leading them to create patapole (and end up becoming colonists) after the ah-ooh dynasty fell. the drums themselves were also meant to represent the patapons allies, but eventually became seperated from that and only became "patapon drums", used for festivals and wars after the patapoles established what was basically an ethnocracy. technically, there is more than one almighty, but it can be taken as for patapons that the almighty has various names. the main almightys, reflecting the four drums, often switched between role of "god" while the others acted as minor spirits. they often traded places in roles.

patapole mainly was represented by "PON", seen by her peers as a god of warfare. her ideas were often used as an excuse to colonize karmen land and further continue building their military. "PATA" and "DON" were fine with this, and often the three switched places in monitoring and helping patapole. the only almighty who wasnt on board with continuing to colonize land that didnt belong to them, it being "CHAKA", ended up being silenced and turned to stone, put in another land while the others focused on their goals. the patapons took karmen land in the first place due to their belief of it being earthend because of the world egg; which ended up blowing in their faces when the egg hatched and released hell while ormen karmen attacked patapole. when they fled, the gods essentially became much weaker, and eventually decided to rest internally while the patapons were on their own. after many years, "PON" and "PATA" were reborn as new gods, while "DON" seemed to continue resting while communicating with meden, the last priest. "PON" and "PATA" focused on war, essentially being the players whilst "DON" focused on everything else. meanwhile, while "CHAKA" was stuck in stone, they were able to grow a mater tree on the stone itself and gave birth to more planty patapons. "CHAKA" could not lead them, but the patapons were accepted by the seafolk nearby and lived amongst them. thats my lore. uhm

25 - Are there any specific writing tools that you find helpful?

i use the very precise and sophisticated tool known as 'making charts on google sheets by colouring cells'

this is one of a few that helps me keep track of my many many wips. its very helpful in that when i get a comment on a fic wondering if its abandoned and think 'its not been that long has it' i can consult it and take the right amount of phycic damage

28 - What's the most ambitious or challenging fic you've ever written?

ambitious? probably the current big bang fic im writing, just because punctuality and deadlines are in no way my strong suit, but things are actually going suprisingly well on that front. its easier for me to consistently work on something i enjoy than a uni essay, who knew

challenging? anything where the primary goal is comedy. turning an idea for a funny scenario into a fully fleshed out scene while being sure that its actually as funny as you think it is is hard. most recent example is parent creature conferences - its 3 chapters, 7,765 words total, and it took 2 fucking years. and yet i am still planning on writing a sequel because you know what? that shit was fucking funny.

33 - How do you incorporate world-building elements into your fics?

ok so as a primarily au-writer i have had some practice here. this is definately not unique advice but it works - i generally try to either wait for things to come up naturally or find ways to slip them in so it seems like they're coming up naturally. not everything needs to be established from the start - if its not essential to understand the story, it can wait. and i feel like its more fun that way, consistently learning about the setting as the story progresses.

to give an example, netherborne has a bit of exposition-dumping in the first chapter but thats mostly getting the reader up to speed on beetlejuice and lydias relationship and lydias current situation, which is the main thing the reader needs to understand to start the story. on the other hand, the term 'netherborne' and the system of demonic contracts crucial to the setting is not explicitly explained until chapter twelve, because the term 'netherborne' is easy enough to figure out through context clues and the specific details of the system only become relevant in chapter fifteen, so i could just make less detailed references to it while i waited until it made sense for lydia to explain it in twelve. and another thing - if a character is explaining lore stuff to another, i try to avoid it becoming a one-sided qna session with a load of details. better to insert one or two details at a time into the flow of a conversation.

if somethings going to take some explaining, i try to make sure that explaining comes in a slower or quieter scene - i dont want to feel like ive hit pause on the action. (in a similar vein, if i spend a while narrating a characters train of thought i try to make sure theyve actually had the time to think all that.) but if something is simple enough or not so essential to the story that it doesnt need an in-depth explaination, i prefer to have it casually mentioned or reffered to and let people fill in the gaps. maybe ill come back to it, maybe it will stay a fun extra detail to flesh out the world

34 - Are there any fic writing tips or tricks you've learned along the way that you'd like to share?

i know its been said a million times but WRITE FOR YOURSELF. this is a HOBBY it is meant to be FUN. if i catch any of you putting what is going to get you more engagement over what you find fun i will START BITING. we all love engagement trust me i know but genuinely do NOT look at those numbers if you are going to base any amount of perception of your skill on them. i dont fucking know how many hits or kudos i get because it doesnt fucking matter and i dont check!! comments (the content not the count!) and the occasional fanart are the only things that matter to me and i genuinely think i am so much the better for it. on that note please comment on fics i know thats also been said a million times but like. please

35 - What do you enjoy most about being a fic writer?

you can literally do anything with it. once you ditch the concept of 'cringe' there is literally nothing you cant do with fanfic and it doesnt even have to be a good idea. self indulgence is literally the entire point of it! its a hobby about making my favourite fictional characters do whatever the hell i want them to do and then people say nice things about it?? literally winning forever

relating to that vent, i getchu so bad. i feel like in general, the internet might worsen compulsions & obsession within ocd + etc. i have a similar feeling (wouldnt say identical cause i know u from tumblr n yaknow yaknow) that tells me everything i do needs to be 100% morally correct or [insert awful things] will happen to me or someone i love. and this is easier to deal with when you're offline, because there's a limit on the people that can get mad at you. half of the world won't get mad at you because only 0.00001% (or whatever) of the world knows you, yaknow. on the net, it feels like everyone who has an account knows you. your brain telly you anyone who has an account on here might see what you posted & they might be mad at you & they might make a callout post or whatever. even though they don't know you. which is a terrifying thought for many. i dont think youre alone in this, genuinely. and i feel it can be improved. some stuff that's helped me: - making separate accounts w private stuff (doesnt rly work on tumblr but like a private account on insta & etc etc) - rationalising thoughts (an example of this would be thinking: is it really likely many people will agree with someone being mad at me? or: how many people actually do see my posts? is that proportional to the amount of followers i have) - and talking ab it w friends. genuinely, the communication + processing of these thoughts & feelings is soo helpful. sending u soo much love <3 if u wanna chat a bit ab it you can dm me :) (ask can be published or responded 2 privately, whatever u prefer!)

I did get someone on my splatblog giving me shit for writing a m4rie drabble that i recieved as a request bc the splatoon agents dont have canon ages- largely due to the fact that they are self insert characters- and they were implying i was writing about a gr00ming situation. after that person said something about it i felt really icky and laid out my personal "lore" for the agents i write for on my splatblog, including their ages which are all over 18, so there would be no misunderstandings. still makes me a little mad to think about it -.-

yes :3 i write quite a bit of it actually i just don't publish it </3 i dont finish a lot of stuff i start writing so there are lots of half finished smut one shots on my computer

What's a WIP that you want to finish but don't think you ever will?

agh... watercolor.... i have a lot of ideas for it and i do get inspiration to work on it every now and then or someone comments on the fic and i want to write more but im so bad with chaptered fics. i think i originally intended for it to be a one shot but i liked the idea of it so much and i just kept writing. maybe one day i'll wrap it up at a place i like but not anytime soon.

Watercolor!!! something about the style i wrote it in is just very appealing to me and its something that i can look back on and read with fondness and actually compliment myself on. like i said earlier sometimes i get inspiration to keep writing for it but im not good at chaptered fics so i dont know if i'll ever finish it but its definitely a work im very proud of.

red/ginger hair. length and style depends on what stage of life hes at. if its wilds/walls/rebellion, its gonna be short but like.. shoulder-length short bc hair-styling was a big thing in kismá culture & also he likes it. after-death? it changes bc he can shape-shift but normally its long-ish and in a ponytail. not anime-long, like normal realistically long, maybe touches the middle or lower half of his back. sometimes there might be a white streak or several from stress that he doesnt get rid of

yellow/gold eyes

if he’s in his Guide/cryptid form, he also has multiple Eyes all over his body and wings (face examples in picrews, wing examples would be watcher!grian art, body examples could be tamari from song reckless battery burns).

there may also be Eyes floating around him in a halo if he actives those powers.. not common though

the more common halo! just a fancy spiky golden one tbh. not a boring circle, no he can shape-shift!! it can look so special and cool!!!

6 wings + the ear wings. thats the basic amount in the cryptid form but he can also yk. shape-shift. theyre normally angel wings but he will change them to different bird wings to fit in. they were originally going to he osprey wings but i decided to change it to angel wings which are really jist white wings.

cryptid form also has a demon tail thats gold bc its cool

many many scars even when disguised as human. he feels more connected to his past and his humanity that way.

he wears a bronze compass necklace that has lore implications from the wilds arc and the copperhead “gang”. i have this necklace if you wanna see the photo.

bc he can shape-shift, he can open up piercing holes and close them easily. however he only prefers piercings in his ears. most of the times its just the normal ear piercings,,, 2 of them like how some people get so he can have a pair of dangly earrings and them studs for complementary

for clothing, he normally wears a tight black undershirt for the pressure bc its a habit and relieves anxiety. like a weighted blanket. reminds him of a bulletproof vest.

he wears cargo pants often bc he likes pockets. its good to have pockets yes. you need to carry around stuff in case something happens.

he will also wear flow-y clothing sometimes like a big t-shirt or maybe a skirt if he feels pretty good that day. he loves dresses but sometimes has issues actually wearing them

loves wearing necklaces and bracelets,, especially when they jangle. reminds him of home. rings,,, they feel weird between his fingers so if he gets one as a gift, he’ll wear it on a chain instead.

So im gonna dumb stuff without context.

Skylar was meant as my gender discovery at the time I made him while Isaac was somewhat of a self insert now that I think back. Poor boy has all my anxiety and good will and need for validation and Skylar was subconciously tailored to help him with that because I needed help with that. (Disclaimer: I am not a professional, Im just a poor person who picked up a few tricks)

That original inforgraphic seems like its trying to make you buy buy buy excessively. I personally like to try and repair what I can, macguyvering things back together bc growing up in poverty makes you either suffer from lack or become resourceful AF. So here's what I'd do for each:

Fix it up!

-sponge: boil it when stinky for five min and then pull it out and let it rest, or microwave it for 30 sec (its gonna be hot watch out), (or if its a ScrubDaddy, you can put it in the bottom rack of the dishwasher since it wont hold water.) Comes out pretty germ-free any of these ways, and that'll get the stink off. Throw it away when it's actually disintegrating or the green scrubby-fluff side is gone (if u got one of those ones)

Shower curtain liner: Throw it in the washer with a bit of bleach or just laundry soap. Hang it back up and drip dry.

Microwave filter: I, too, am astounded this exists. More research is required.

Toilet brush: spray it to keep it disinfected after you use it, but yeah, try and replace that every couple years, especially if its got build up of gunk.

Bath mat: have 2. Swap one out every month while the other one goes for a wash and waits for its turn.

Bed pillows: Take note of a place in your house where a sunbeam hits for a long time during the day. Wash your pillows in the washer, throw them in the dryer and let them sit in the sunbeam for as long as possible, as it'll help slow cook any leftover moisture out of them and it makes them fluffy. Make sure and flip them halfway thru the time limit

Sheets: If they cant reasonably be saved or are too threadbare, when they fall apart you still might be able to use them as cleaning rags, so cut em up and let them finish off their time on earth being as useful as possible. Hem them for extra life.

Bath Towels: when they get funky, use laundry sanitizer. Its 6 bucks a bottle and its a game changer. And when they fall apart: MORE RAGS! AND you can cut bath towels into new washcloths. I even hemmed mine to make them last longer instead of fraying to bits. Just toss the really warn down bits. You don't gotta keep all of it.

Nonstick cookware: Really, this stuff is just kinda bad for us and the environment. But theyre cheap, and thats why we all got them. Use soft plastic or silicone utensils so it don't scrape up that coating. And watch your dang food so it doesnt burn. Another option if you wanna replace it with something more earth/health friendly is a cast iron pan or stainless steel, some of which you might be able to find at your local thrift store. They have TONS. Stacks on stacks! They require a learning curve on care/use but just youtube it. Some might require a lil elbow grease to clean up, but if there's anything gross in them, you can boil water in the stainless steel ones, and the junk will melt away or be easier to lift up.

Throw pillows: see the above about bed pillows and getting them fluffy again. However, if the pillow skin is breaking down, you might just wanna put the pillow insert or the fluff into a new one, which is the simplest sewing project ever. A fun thing to do is take an old tshirt you love/wanna save/grown out of and sew up the sides or cut out the logo on front and a matching square of fabric off the back and put the fluff into that! Now you dont have to throw it away either!

Mattress: REPLACE THE MATTRESS REPLACE THE MATTRESS I AM NOT JOKING. A bent-spring or dipped-in mattress will give you fucking sciatica i am not joking it happened to me. It was painful as fuck and STILL flares up to this day. Keep it as long as you feesably can, and flip it occasionally (6 months, if its one that you can do that with), but if you got back pain, please save up and go get a new one for cheap or a refurbished one. Floor models on showfloors can be cheaper, and there are new, cheap mattresses in plastic sometimes available at GoodWill (they do sell new things too sometimes!!). There are discount mattress stores out there, shop around on price ranges and once you find a place you can afford, please lay on it for 10 minutes and listen to what your body is telling you. Its aches and groans. Does any pain flare up, even a little? Try the next one until you find what you like. Take your time, its for your health.

Couch: This will ALSO give you sciatica if you aren't careful! But yeah, you just gotta make the call of when "broken down" is. If you feel broken wood inside, its probably time.

Smoke detectors: Dont fuck around when it comes to fire safety. Set an event in your calendars to check these every 6 months (on mattress flipping day!). Press the awful button and test them. I know, it's sensory hell. Do it anyway. Replace the batteries if they're dead.

Small appliances: See if there's a repair group in your neighborhood or area. (There was a post floating around a bit ago about right-to-repair groups recently, if anybody's seen that, plz post the link) ((Sometimes it might just be something small and can be easily repaired. Websites of the producers of appliances sometimes sell parts! We've repaired our dishwasher twice and got a new lint trap for the dryer this way.)) And if you join a group, you might learn something new! Also: if u aren't handy, befriend people who are and ask for help. Thats why we have community, baby! Be safe, don't try anything out of your depth, but don't be afraid to ask/learn. Or just go to repair shop like Sew'n'Vac and get an estimate.

Duvet: I have never owned a duvet, idk what they're made of, but if its polyfil, you can use them to make more throw pillows.

Doormat: I always felt like doormats are a luxury, tbh? Idk, check GoodWill. If you find one u like in the wild, get it. Spray it off on occasion so you can still read it and shake the pine needles outta it.

Curtains: The material is usually p nice on these, so try and reuse it for other projects like table runners or once again, fancier throw pillows (i just really like pillows u guys and theyre so expensive for no reason. It's like 30 bucks for a new one! Insane!) Also, consider rotating different color/pattern curtains to different rooms to keep the vibes fresh and interesting. Also, give them a wash on occasion. They're dusty!

Once again, not a professional ANYTHING, just a poor person making do.

Use it up, fix it up, make it last, make it work!

okay so one thing my self-insert ocs have in common is having "Disney Princess Powers" aka just able to befriend basically any animal because thats something i wish i could do irl lol

this kinda gets long so ima put a read more here lol

I'm still planning out the details, but the oc, Ha'ku (my AFOP oc but for the film timelines, otherwise known as Y'ou in the game universe) is still a Sarentu, but not part of TAP, he was instead "rescued" by a pair of scientists who found him as a kid (like 3 or 4 years old) all by himself in the forest while they were doing some biology stuff. he was being "stalked" by viperwolves (spoiler alert, they were trying to protect him) and so they took him back to their base of operations. the scientists wanted to be the first to raise a Na'vi to be more human. it failed miserably, as Ha'ku clung to his Na'vi/Sarentu side fiercely, even when his "parents" became abusive and tried beating the Na'vi out of him (and also refusing to acknowledge the fact that he is also a boy not a girl).

the other science teams and the Avatar program knew about them attempting to raise Ha'ku (not about the abuse though cuz he was heavily isolated), and Grace tried desperately to get him away from the racist couple, even offering to have Ha'ku be part of her school, but was refused. Parker let them do what they wanted, since he really couldnt give a shit about a Na'vi child, so long as in the end he can use them

from my googling and game knowledge, the RDA wasn't fully aware of TAP, and im pretty sure Grace also had no idea of its existence. Im not too sure if i want Grace and the others to know Ha'ku is Sarentu, or even who the Sarentu are, though I would assume she would know the Sarentu? At least maybe from the Omaticaya mentioning the lost clan? Anyway, he has the mark of the Sarentu though he has no idea what it entails

eventually the Avatar program get the green light to gain custody of Ha'ku a little after the massacre that happened at Grace's school since he's basically the only Na'vi they can interact with, the "parents" dont like that and try to slit Ha'ku's throat since theyre all "if we cant have him, no one can" and are fully delusional and believe he's their human daughter at this point. they fail, but leave a gnarly scar on Ha'ku's neck. Ha'ku is like,,, 17 when this happens? its hard to tell the timeline for me, but like apparently Neytiri is 18 when the first film takes place?? by the time the first film begins, Ha'ku is 19

depending on whether or not the RDA/Grace actually know about the Sarentu and the mark, Ha'ku is gonna be either ignorant to it or know the bare minimum about his heritage going into it

ok most of the backstory stuff done, lets get into the actual fic ideas i have lmao

thanks to the abuse from his tormentors, Ha'ku has severe social anxiety so he keeps to himself in an area near where the Avatars sleep, the only person he remotely trusts is Grace, who noticed his affinity with animals when she first took him out into Pandora, and also the unbridled joy on his face when he got to be free

film stuff happens off screen, Jake meets Ha'ku the day they go into the forest, he's confused why they're bringing this quiet af Na'vi ("he's not even an Avatar, Grace??") with them, but once they land, Ha'ku opens up a bit and gestures to Jake to follow him when Grace and Norm are doing their science stuff, the scene with the Helicoradian happens, but instead of the hammerhead titanothere charging at them, Ha'ku calms it and gently stokes the creature, being all like "see? he's a good boy :D" to Jake, of course thats when the thanator shows up to fuck shit up, but wow Ha'ku also calms it down before Jake can get trigger happy, even resting his forehead against the creature's own

all is well right? nah the other marine shows up and begins shooting at the thanator, which pisses it off (wow what a shocker), and it grabs Ha'ku's arm and runs off, to everyone's shock. Ha'ku is trying to get it to let go, but it wont, in fact it breaks the skin of his arm thanks to the angle it's dragging him at. soon enough, it lets him go across the river near the waterfall and runs back towards the others. Ha'ku has no idea what to do, but he spots an atokirina floating nearby, like it wanted him to follow it. using his jacket to cover his kinda torn up arm, he slowly makes his way through the forest after the atokirina, softly humming the Sarentu song to himself to keep him calm. eventually, he's led to a viperwolf giving birth, though it's in distress. Ha'ku understands that she's scared since this is her first litter and doesn't want to be alone, so he stays with her until all her pups are born, which takes all day and evening.

Hello, @citrus-selfinserts ! I really didn't mean to take so long answering these. Either way, I would still like to thank you for sending in these asks!

Moon ~ Did your love for your F/O come all at once or in phases?

(Sorry, I'm about to get kinda detailed)

It's incredible how my love for Sephiroth kinda came all at once (like before, he was just "the villain from FFVII" in my eyes and that was it. Back then, I didn't even think he was as good looking as people said, lol). So I saw his Smash trailer streamed live on YouTube on Dec 10, 2020. I thought "wow, cool!" but that was mostly it.

And then a few days before he released, there was a "Sephiroth Challenge" thing where you could fight him as a boss in Smash in order to unlock him early.

Either way, that day was pretty hype! My brothers and I all sat together and took turns trying to beat Sephiroth. (We all sucked, lol. I myself wasn't too good at 1v1s in smash bros yet.)

It was a while until I was the one who finally beat him (using Toon Link, my old Brawl main). After that, we each took turns using Seph, with me being last. After I won the match while using him, I honestly don't really know what happened. He just did his victory—the one where he walks away into the flames—and my heart just swooned for some reason, lol. (I legit blushed pretty hard irl. Good thing no one saw me, haha).

Either way, since I never really cared about FFVII before—thus feeling like I didn't deserve to use Seph for that reason—I made up weird excuses on why I kept wanting to use him. (Like, I kept saying "I just think his sword's cool, that's it." Stupid stuff like that.)

In about one day, I was already crushing hard, which has never happened before, lol! It's silly, but it is what it is. In about three or so days, I was already madly in love—albeit in heavy denial, lol.

Nebula ~ If you could take your F/O anywhere where would you go?

As you know, I love liminal spaces and stuff! There are just too many cool liminal spaces and/or Backroom levels that I would love to explore with Sephiroth (everyone else, too!). There's this specific Backrooms level that comes to mind, though. The Grassroom Corridors.

It is just so cool looking, in my opinion. Like, something out of a hazy but pleasant dream. There's a found footage video for the Grass Corridors (you don't have to watch the whole thing! It's like 17 minutes or so). It was cool and pretty spooky!

I remember when some monster/entity thing formed on a wall near the end of the video and my only thought was, "that's just the Demon Wall from Final Fantasy IV!" So, if Seph and I encountered that while exploring, all I can say is: cue the FFIV boss music! (To clarify, I think a different song plays during the actual Demon Wall fight in FFIV, but this is the song I thought of first and prefer more, tbh!)

Edit: the wall monster was actually in a sequel video to the original video I linked. Oops! But it was still in the same location, I believe, so yeah. My point still stands, lol.

My favorite things about FFVII is the materia! They're basically these orbs that you can insert into equipment to cast magic or use other unique skills and stuff.

They are just so satisfying to look at due to how pretty they are.

My favorite materia is the Black Materia! It's the one Sephiroth uses to summon Meteor. It's so cool looking, and I actually have a look alike irl!

It's so cool to hold in my hand, I love it.

Milky way ~ What's your favorite daydream you've had of your F/O?

I daydream a lot with Sephiroth. But I believe my favorite—and the most intricate one—is the one where me and Sephiroth (the others were there, too) explored the Backrooms! We basically followed the path shown in this video (again, you don't have to watch the whole thing!). It was so fun, just walking around, seeing the cool sights and enjoying the isolated feel. My favorite part was when we explored this one strange area:

(It looks kinda like a hotel to me? But I'm not completely sure. Either way, I think it looks cool.)

Star ~ Do you have a specific song that reminds you of your F/O?

So I have plenty of songs that remind me of Seph and I. But as for everyone as a whole, the song Maze of Life really reminds me of us (you can just listen to just the first verse/chorus of the song if you want!). The lyrics are basically talking about how much of a great time we're all having. (Plus it's the opening theme for a crossover game, which is pretty much what my selfships are since I love to imagine Cloud & Seph interacting with Monokuma and Stubbs, who are from different series!) The first couple of lyrics really fit us.

I've had so many fantastic dreams about my faves (especially with Seph)!

Since I've had so much, I would like to talk about the FIRST major dream I had with Cloud & Sephiroth!

I was in a Little Caesars restaurant (it was about the size of a McDonald's inside) and I was casually hanging out with Cloud and Sephiroth inside!

It was so much fun being with them. I remember at one point, I told them to go get some napkins, and so they did. They went over and while doing so, they suddenly got into an argument (as expected with these two, lol). Upon arguing some more, they then headed outside the building and proceeded to do the whole Advent Children fight sequence again!

The best part was how everyone else inside the pizzeria didn't even seem to care, which implied that this was actually a common occurrence! (I do actually imagine any silly arguments they have occasionally leading to them fighting outside just like this with them re-doing the whole AC fight and everything!)

As for me, I received the pizza we ordered and sat down to eat, watching everything through a window! I woke up soon after that, so I never saw who won (it was probably Cloud tho, lol).

° 𐐪𐑂 Hurriedly Kai tugged you on the hand and you laughed loudly, following his lead to take you somewhere

° 𐐪𐑂 With the grin he was giving back, you were sure he would respond too

° 𐐪𐑂 But a love rival??? You could completely understand why he was acting like this now- and it was all because he was jealous 🗿

° 𐐪𐑂 “Kaiiii,” you whined, pursing your lips tight together and bringing his hands into yours, “I’ve missed you too and I know we haven’t been talking much thanks to schedules but you have to know that I love you the most out of everyone here!”

° 𐐪𐑂 You truly found this situation to be entertaining but you weren’t going to say it out loud ! Hopefully he would really see that you were being sincere though because you really did love him the most in the world :(((
