2012 Jonatello Valentine "Cards"- 💜🖤 💌

Happy (late) Valentine's Day ! 💘

I know I posted my old Valentine's Day post because I didn't draw anything, but I couldn't stand the fact that I was missing an opportunity to draw my favorite ship, like,, 😔 LMAO

(I tried to make the writing as cheesy as possible-)

I don't know what it is about this that I love so much. But I'll try to quantify:

1- first off, the turtles have the ability to make anyone relax in their presence. Even an OG Edgelord like Sasuke

2- Sakura chillin' with the pizza in her lap like a messy teenage girlie gives her more characterization here in this one cover art than the entirety of the Naruto franchise. Like, let her be a little lazy and relaxed. She never seemed to relax in the anime.

3- Sasuke with the pizza sauce on his lip is stinkin adorable.

4- Leo senses no danger from him and lets him examine his katana as clearly a sign of friendship, even though Sasuke clearly pulled it out on his own. Like: "Oop, whatcha doin there-? Okay, kiddo, just don't be swingin' it around, okay?"

5- Raph, on the other hand, doesn't trust like that and remains cautious whenever anyone is armed, giving him the sideye.
