Ok, I've been trying to figure out how to word this properly, but personally, I find tr!Ros is such an interesting character because most times, I think what tr!Pili said about her playing up being nice and kind of fooling everyone is true to a degree, and she did downplay just how much yellow has killed red, which is largely why tr!pili is so pissed at her, but at the same time, I have a lot of sympathy for tr!Ros as well, especially after the talk at the cathedral.

I think her talk with tr!pangi about closing herself off and not feeling empathy for anyone really shook her up, especially considering her world views, but I think she just needed to air out her issues and find ways to kinda solve them, especially with the fear and stress that she has thinking green and red are going to kill her every day. It's not like tr!Ros doesn't have a reason to be distrustful of green or red, but I think it's good to get an assurance from tr!bad and tr!pili that they won't try to kill her for at least a day, until the quests are reset, and that they weren't even specifically trying to kill her at any other time.

Personally, I wouldn't just let all the deaths of red by yellows' hands slide off the table, if bygones are to be bygones, but I guess what I'm saying is I have a bit more sympathy for tr!Ros now that I've seen her communicate with red and green about her fears and reasons to be hostile (it can be argued that she didn't really have a reason to specifically fear for her life, sure, but she didn't know tr!bad, especially tr!pili weren't serious about killing her).

My personal opinion is that Tr!Ros is genuinely nice and kind, but the fear ,and might I say paranoia, got to her a little bit, so hopefully, after the discussion at the cathedral, she can understand red and green a bit more. For 24 hours to get as much peace as possible on this server, at least.

Basically, chaos is well and good, but a little peace and communication never hurt anyone, so I'm hoping the good will will last for at least a day.

It’s so funny to me that people in the drarry fandom are dead set on portraying Draco as a delicate, small, button-nosed fem boy.

Like Draco is a pure bred aristocrat, who grew up with healthy, hearty meals all his life. He would most likely be very tall, with aristocratic bone structure like tall cheekbones and a long nose. He would not be shorter than Harry, who spent his formative developmental growth years in a cupboard.

Harry had virtually no sunlight, no exercise, and no proper nutrition for eleven years. The boys growth was definitely stunted by his upbringing. He is not the jacked, bronzed, 6ft tall guy yall want him to be.

I like to think that Draco would probably be viewed as intimidating due to his pale skin and androgynous beauty given his personality rather than the infantilized, bitchy, “I can take your man’s” attitude that the fandom saddled him with.

i very much do not care for the way peta did “investigative journalism” to “expose” the “evil” “truth” about halal and kosher slaughter.

Especially because some European countries are outlawing both.

This isn’t new, and I’m far from the first one to point it out, but it is absolutely something people need to continue to pay attention to. It’s absolutely being done to attack and dismantle core elements of Jewish and Islamic culture, and it’s being done to sway the Christian public into seeing Jews and Muslims as evil animal torturing savages.

This is an attempt at ethnocide. Enforced assimilation or prosecution. And I will further caution that ethnocide rarely travels without its partner, Genocide.

Don’t let this narrative spread. Learn what these practices entail and why. It is done to minimize discomfort to the animal. While it looks messy to some, it causes very little pain to the animal and death is swift. It follows very specific protocols for a reason. It is forbidden to eat food that was slaughtered poorly and suffered unnecessary pain or fear. If I were raising livestock for human consumption, I would use a similar method to cull simply because a brain can react differently to a stun gun but a throat will tend to react the same to a blade every time.

A practice not looking aesthetic enough for evangelical sensibilities does not mean it’s cruel. People naturally fear the unknown and this is very transparently being weaponized against marginalized groups

Dorym's (yes dorym) attachment and love for Imogen is so unbelievably soft and loving and I'm OBSESSED with it.

Orym has been right there in front of Imogen the entire time. He's been protecting her and supporting her since the very beginning. He heard "she's very capable" and he said "fuck yeah she is". Orym telling her he'd be proud to be her dad. Orym putting all his faith in her despite her fears and her obvious weaknesses (ie not being able to give up on her mother). I wouldn't go as far as to call her his daughter but that's his second best friend and he loves her SO much.

Dorian. Dorian Storm admires and respects the FUCK out of Imogen. They've only gotten closer since his return. I think they see themselves in the other. I think there is a commonality they find in being some of the youngest in the group. This is their first real excursion into the world. They're just now settling into their queer identities. They have strained relationships with their fathers. They love their mothers. They are just constantly supporting and uplifting each other.

And Imogen loves dorym as much as they love her. She cried when Orym told her that he was proud of her. She trusted Orym to keep her secret when she went looking for her mother. She listened to Orym about his family. I truly believe Orym is the reason why Imogen has stayed on this side of the fight. I think, in a worse world, Imogen would have joined up with her mother. Not because she believed any of it. But because whatever the end result is, she would have time with her mother. But knowing and loving Orym she stayed on the right path because of exactly how much hurt and pain her mother helped cause. If she didn't know it. If she didn't see it. She would have been with her mother.

Imogen pulls Dorian into her little "we were being too loud" rouse because on some level I think they both knew that the other was fundamentally unattracted to the other and I think that harbors a solidarity between them. Like not to meme on a meta post but wlw & mlm solidarity at its finest. She teased him when he comes back and when he understands that's what she's doing he grins and says "I've missed you too". And since then they've had this back and forth where they can be a little mean to each other. And they can be a lot sweet to each other. I think they gave each other a sibling. And no. Imogen didn't do that to replace Cyrus. But she wanted a brother. And Dorian wanted a sister.

I don't remember what my thesis was going to be but all of this is to say the dorym & Imogen dynamics mean a lot to me and I love seeing every part of it in action.
