With that said, there are a number of cases wherein people who have milder sleeping disorders do manage to get the relief that they need from natural sleeping tablets such as melatonin. Some people have also seen fair success in the treatment of mild to mildly moderate sleeping issues through the use of herbal sleeping tablets, such as Valerian root. The organic pharmaceutical trade has seen an upsurge in the need for natural remedies for sleep which is why sleeping tablets from Boots (the renowned chain chemist in the US) will generally either be a natural or herbal sleep aid which means that you can buy these medicines over the counter, prescription-free.Although the premise for initially using herbal sleeping tablets to treat trouble with sleep is logical, the fact is that these over the counter medicines are generally ineffective against moderate to severe disorders and instead of benefitting you, they may very well waste your time, health and money even further. That is why it is advised that you immediately use prescription sleeping tablets like zopiclone to get the fastest, most effective treatment when dealing with sleeping disorders like insomnia.OVER THE COUNTER SLEEPING TABLETS

Gensokyo Festival day 2: Food
~Sunny Milk, Luna Child and Star Sapphire May Be Known as the Three Fairies of Light, but there's Nothing Light about their Appetites~
Warm sunlight was casting its orange glow through the curtains, but Luna Child felt quite all right where she was. Her blanket was perfectly warm and snuggly and her pillow was as soft as ever a pillow could be. With a sigh, Luna burrowed under her soft pillow and sank into restful dreams.
"Luna! Luna! Get up! Get up! Get up!"
Luna awoke to a terrible commotion. Some unseen force was throwing her up and down on her mattress. With a startled cry, she threw off her covers and blearily took in the sight of Sunny Milk jumping up and down with glee.
"Do you have to do this every morning? Really?" demanded Luna.
"Sure do! Come on, it's a beautiful day full of adventures and fun to be had!" Sunny grabbed Luna around the waist and carried her down to the sitting room.
Star Sapphire was laying the table with glasses of orange juice. She barely glanced up as Sunny stomped into the room. "Good morning, you two. I hope you've got your appetites with you!"
"Sure have!" said Sunny blithely, dumping Luna in her chair. "What's for breakfast?"
"A loaf of bread. With butter on it." Star hopped up on a short wooden stool and grabbed a wicker basket from the shelves. Her face fell when she peeked inside. "Oh... That's not good. Ladies, do you like irons?"
Sunny looked at Luna. Luna looked at Sunny.
"What do you mean?" asked Sunny.
"Irons! I bought one instead of a loaf by accident," said Luna, with a nervous laugh. "It's made of copper. Does anyone like copper?"
Luna fell face-first on her placemat.
"Star," said Sunny dangerously, "what are you telling me? You tried to buy a loaf of bread and bought an iron?!"
"I didn't mean to! It just sort of happened!" Full of timidity, Star clutched the stout copper clothing-flattener to her chest. "I'm really sorry, you two."
"All right." Sunny downed her orange juice in one gulp. "What are we going to eat, Star?! I can't not eat! I'll starve! And so will you and Luna!"
"I-I don't know!" wailed Star.
Luna gasped. "Wait! I know! We'll buy more food!"
Sunny's jaw dropped. She ran to Luna's side and hugged her. "Oh, Luna, you're the best!"
"G-get off!" Luna shoved Sunny away. "Uh, what are we going to buy?"
"Let's have fried sugar donuts!" suggested Star.
"No, I fancy moon cakes!" declared Luna.
"Chicago style deep-dish cheese pizza!" yelled Sunny.
"Well, um," said Star, "we can't eat all that."
"All right, we'll have a race!" Sunny's eyes were aflame with passion. "I'll get the pizza, you get the moon cakes, you get the donuts and we'll eat the thing whoever gets back the fastest had with them!"
Luna looked at Star. Star looked at Luna.
"Got it! I'll be back soon!" Star dove out of the window.
Sunny jumped for joy. "Oh, this is going to be the best! Let's go! Let's go!"
"Um..." Luna stared after her hurrying friends, her mouth shaped uncannily like a chestnut. "All right, I'll get the moon cakes and hurry home, I suppose."
-----------------------------------------
"Thirty of your finest Okinawan sugar donuts, please!"
"I... I'm sorry?"
"Down here."
The baker cast her eyes around in mild panic until she saw the pint-sized fairy beneath the front of her stall. "Oh, hello there, little... thing! I, um. For thirty sugar donuts, it'll be a thousand yen. Is that all right?"
"Hmmm..." Star dug through her purse, discarding a couple of buttons and a spare tin whistle. She eventually dumped a handful of coins on the counter, several of which rolled onto the cakes below. "Here you go!"
The baker sighed heavily. "Thank you. Do you want a bag?"
-----------------------------------------
"Hello? Marisa?! Are you in?!" Sunny hammered on the door to little effect. "Marisa, I need help!"
"What?! I'm watering the frogs!" came the quiet reply.
A faint splash caught Sunny's ear. She ran through the undergrowth until she found Marisa throwing buckets of water into her oozy green pond.
"Hey, Marisa! It's me! I need help!"
"Okay..." Marisa dropped her bucket and wandered over to Sunny, slipping off her gardening gloves. "What's the problem?"
"I need to make a Chicago style deep-dish cheese pizza for Luna and the gang!" Sunny erroneously referred to Star Sapphire as a 'gang'. "You can do anything, Marisa! If anyone knows how to make a Chicago style deep-dish cheese pizza, it's you!"
"Well, Sunny, it looks like you've come to the right place! I happen to be a genuine Pizza Master, trained by the legendary Annelisa DiFiatapunto of Brindisi!" Marisa put her hands on her hips. As tall as she was in comparison to Sunny, the gesture looked properly badass for once. "I'll go and put the oven on. Your job's the most important: weeding the mushroom bed."
Sunny tilted her head. "Weeding the mushroom bed is the most important job for making a Chicago style deep-dish pizza?"
"Oh, yes!" Marisa nodded earnestly.
"Okay! Can I borrow some overalls?"
-----------------------------------------
"And what can I do for you, little miss?"
"I want to buy some moon cakes, please!"
"Moon cakes?" Nemuno stared down at Luna. "You... Want to buy...? I don't sell moon cakes!"
"What?!" Luna's face fell. "But-but that sign over your door says this is a bakery!"
"No it doesn't!" Nemuno shoved past Luna and stared door. Her jaw dropped. Sure enough, a roughly painted wooden sign which read 'BAYKARY' had been nailed up above the door.
"See?" said Luna smugly.
"Who the hell could've done that?!" Nemuno angrily stomped her foot. "Goddamn vandals! Do you know anything about this?"
"No..." Luna's brow furrowed. "Sunny was doing pranks up here a couple of days ago. She'd've told me if she saw anyone drawing a silly sign."
"She... She what?"
"She'd've told me," repeated Luna, "if she saw anyone drawing a silly sign."
For a full ten seconds, Nemuno was silent. Then she hefted Luna and turned her around. "Try Mother's Deliciousness in the Human Village."
"Oh, thank you! Now, could you maybe put me down-"
Nemuno delivered a blistering kick to Luna's bottom. Luna sailed all the way to the Prismrivers' house and splashed down in Lyrica's bubble bath.
-----------------------------------------
"I win! I win!" squeaked Star, bursting into the treehouse with her arms full of sugar donuts.
"Another victory for Sunny Milk!" yelled Sunny, smashing through the sitting room window. Her dress was ragged and her knees were all muddy.
"Moon cakes are served!" declared Luna, sliding down the chimney in a soggy shower of soot.
The fairies plonked down their spoils on the table and looked expectantly at one-another. Their faces fell when they realised none of them was being hailed as God-Queen of Provender Acquisition.
"Who won?" Sunny bit the bullet.
"It's me! It has to be! I came in here a whole second before the rest of you!" said Star insistently.
"I got kicked up the bum for this meal! I'd call myself the moral victor," pouted Luna.
"Well, it can't be both of you," said Sunny reasonably, "so it has to be me! All right! Three cheers for Sunny Milk!"
The indifference from Luna and Star was deafening.
"W-well, um, we can agree to disagree..." Sunny gave a nervous laugh. "But seriously, the Chicago style deep-dish cheese pizza's very hot, and Kasen says bacteria love hot food."
"What's a bacteria?" asked Luna.
"They're these tiny youkai who eat all your food and make you unwell," explained Sunny.
"How horrible!" gasped Star. "You're right, Sunny, we have to eat the pizza before it gets bacteria-ed."
"Then let's tuck in!" Sunny tore the cloth off the basket and unveiled her pizza with relish. It was lumpy and misshapen and contained a lake of steaming hot cheese marbled with blue mould. "We made it with Marisa's special blue cheese!"
"Wow..." Luna's mouth hung open, chestnut-shaped as always. "Is there enough for all of us? I could eat the whole thing!"
"You do have a point... Oh, wait a minute!" cried Sunny. "Didn't you buy a load of moon cakes?!"
"Why, yes!" Luna's face lit up. "We can eat those too!"
"And have my donuts for pudding!" squeaked Star, licking her lips.
"Then let's not wait another moment!" Sunny pulled a gleaming boot knife from her adorable buckle shoe and started carving the pizza. It looked like it would be a delicious afternoon.

Okay this might me stupid but like... One reason I'm struggling to start recovering is that nobody around me really understands Ed?
Like sure, they are mean to me about it and ridicule it. I would be very obviously unwell, I mean I look sick, but I would get praise for losing that amount of weight, and then I would get told I'm too skinny and i need to eat and stop losing weight but thats where it ends - that's what Mom told me, when she has disordered eating herself and she refuses to eat around me, and from her behaviour I think she is a bit jealous in the disordered way. I know she had a long period of not eating anything to lose weight, and I know her not eating now isn't just her "having a small stomach" I know she's doing it to lose weight or prove something because eating disorders are competitive. Being around her always triggers me.
Now, a few months ago she even yelled at me "maybe if you ate something you wouldn't be so nervous all the time" bc she was mad at me for being anxious. That one rly hurt! And she kept mocking my Ed even after talking with my psychiatrist. despite mocking me, still more praise. And she ridiculed my past self. "You were incredibly fat, you were unrecognizable, you were like a ball, you looked like that monster from that one horror" and the last one triggered me like nothing else. Not that it matters, but I really wasn't even /that/ fat so it fucks with my perception when she does that. And I was fat mostly because of antipsychotics and Lyrica, which helped me immensely! I still take Lyrica in a low dose but I'm going nuts everyday bc I'm basicaly unmedicated. Before I started taking kratom I had a panic attack almost every damn day.
And my psychiatrist just kept telling me stuff like weight isn't that important and don't worry you won't be fat and wasn't helpful at all, other than the offer to let myself get locked up in the ed part of the psych ward and I was like I would rather die ma'am. I get she's not an eating disorder doctor and people outside of the field don't understand eds, but still, she's works in the combination personality disorder+Ed ward (which is a stupid combo considering ppl with pers. Disorders are very likely to get Ed especially borderlines).
So it's constant "you're skin and bones you need to eat!" And "it's incredible how much weight you lost! You were so fat!" When what I need to hear is some sort of support. Idk if I'm asking too much.
While my brother doesn't say anything about it, living with him helped me I think. He eats a lot, he cooks and bakes and buys sweets. Seeing other people eat without worrying about calories is what helps me the most. If they eat and check calories or obviously always pick the """healthiest""" (read: least calories or the smallest thing) or if they eat very little it triggers me. Even when he ocassionaly diets, it's not obsessive and it's more like eating less carbs or drinking soda with reduced sugar and stuff, and it's genuinely about health I think.
But to get to the point, I need support. I need people to help me in the recovery, because I need that permission to eat, and the assurance. But if I were to gain weight, I would only get "oh look at you you're plumping up again". Recovery is incredibly hard and takes a very long time and doing it yourself with nobody to cheer you on or help you is like, impossible for me, someone who relies on other ppl in a weird way. If I were to start eating like a normal person it would look like a failure in their eyes.

“Yes, I use weed as pain medication. No, I don’t like to have to.”
Lemme explain.
I have to use medical marijuana for my chronic pain. No other medicine has worked for my multitude of issues. Unlike standard pain medicines like Tylenol or Lyrica, I have to follow my own set of guidelines when using my pain medicine AKA marijuana:
a) I’m in a safe area where I don’t have many possibilities of getting taken advantage of mentally or physically. (i.e. my house, the library, etc.)
b) I use it when I exclusively am having nerve pain and/or severe nausea/stomach pain and/or unbearable joint issues. I don’t use it with general every day pain.
and I’m extremely careful with my dosages to make sure I’m not stoned or incapable of analyzing my situation. I have to use trial and error to figure this out and it’s different with every product I buy because one hit off a joint can affect people HELLA DIFFERENTLY than others.
I hate not being able to take regular meds that have a consistent effect and aren’t connected to the ideas that since I use it I am:
a) A drug addict.
b) A criminal.
c) Unintelligent.
d) Irresponsible.
Not all people who use marijuana are these things. I have a 3.8 GPA, a spotless record, and am mentally in a great place in my life right now. If I could take regular pain medication and have the stigma of using medical marijuana taken away, I would.
(Abled bodied folk are encouraged to reblog.)

YALC is here, so AWAKE IN THE WORLD author, Jason Gurley, it’s time to EXPRESS YOURSHELF!
Jason Gurley is the author of debut YA novel, Awake in the World, a love story about fate, privilege and the irresistible attraction of opposites. Available to buy direct from the Usborne stand at YALC, Awake in the World is a perfect summer read that fans of Jennifer Niven and Nicola Yoon will love. Meet US author Jason Gurley as he answers our Shelfie Seven questions!
Tumblr media
1. You’re about to embark on a mission to Mars, but can only take one book. What do you pack? There’s no way I’m ever going to have to really answer this question, so instead, here are my three contenders: Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. It’s a little bit of everything: coming-of-age novel, romance, drama. Adichie draws the most finely-tuned characters; they never feel anything short of real, so everything they face plucks the truest of strings. Contact by Carl Sagan. This is such a deeply personal novel to me, and one whose ideas about science and faith heavily influenced Vanessa in Awake in the World. Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro. It’s just the right blend of creepy and sad, of bleak and haunted. Ishiguro is one of my all-time favorites. If I ever tired of the story, I’d read just to watch him move words around in his quiet, dazzling way.
2. You can travel back in time and give 16-year-old you a book you’ve read recently. What do you choose? Probably Alexander Chee’s How to Write an Autobiographical Novel, or Colum McCann’s Letters to a Young Writer. Sixteen-year-old me was just beginning to seriously consider a future in writing stories, and was far too heavily influenced by the glamorous portrayals of writers in the movies and elsewhere. These two books do a marvellous job of stripping away the illusion to present the reality, and emphasize the satisfaction of hard work over the elusiveness of literary stardom (which young me thought about a lot). As McCann says: it’s all about putting the arse in the chair.
3. Which great literary classic is still on your to-be-read pile? The Count of Monte Cristo. Don Quixote. A Tale of Two Cities. So many. Lately I’m working my way through some mid-20th century books - everything from Rona Jaffe and Mary McCarthy to Ralph Ellison and James Baldwin.
4. Awake in the World is going to be made into a film. Who’s your dream director? Who gets cast as Zach and Vanessa?  I think Lyrica Okano would make an excellent Vanessa, full of confidence and wonder. And Lucas Hedges would bring just the right amount of pathos and determination to Zach. As for directors, I’d love to see someone like Destin Daniel Cretton tackle this material. I’m a big fan of his film Short Term 12. He’s an artist who understands the inner lives of young people, I think.
Tumblr media
(Lyrika Okano, Jason Gurley’s choice for Vanessa in Awake in the World movie.
5. Which song provides the perfect soundtrack to Awake in the World?
There are so many possible answers to this question. I tend to write while listening to music, so everything from film scores to ‘80s songs to more current music gets in there and worms around. But I’ll go with a little track that Nancy Wilson wrote for the film Vanilla Sky. It’s called “Elevator Beat”: it’s short, wistful, hopeful, a little tragic, and utterly gorgeous. The perfect song to listen to on repeat about a thousand times while writing about these characters.
 LISTEN HERE: https://youtu.be/OfV-YzMfvns
6. What’s your favourite relationship - romantic, BFFs, sworn enemies, family - in a book? Oh, Henry DeTamble and Clare Abshire, from Audrey Niffenegger’s The Time Traveler’s Wife, definitely comes to mind. The whole love-that-transcends time thing is hard to do well, and this book succeeds because the characters feel so textured and real. I also love the working relationship between cousins Joe Kavalier and Sammy Clay in Michael Chabon’s The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay. From that first scene where they’re forced to bunk in the same bed to the eventual tangles of their career and loves, they’re utterly fascinating.
7. You’re holding a literary dinner party. Name five guests - real or fictional - on your invite list. Ann Druyan, for all her stories of working on the Voyager project and living a life of healthy skepticism and wonder. Margaret Atwood, to learn about what makes a successful, contented, productive, exemplary writing life. Ta-Nehisi Coates, to learn how someone straddles the serious (his nonfiction work) and the comic (his Marvel work) so expertly. Christopher Hitchens, because I imagine no one is a better and more irascible conversationalist. Jesmyn Ward, who I think is the best writer of the last twenty years or more.
Awake in the World is out now and a perfect summer romance. Available this weekend from the Usborne stand at YALC. Come and say Hi!

This time I'd go with Hades, Seto, and Alayna
The Muses in an Otome Game [ @for-a-prxce ] Accepting, under read more because length
Tumblr media
Hades would be a ridiculously long route in so many ways. Considering the fact that he is actually the Hades, that comes with its own full set of issues and hurdles because even when it comes to other immortals, he’s still likely to outlive them when taking into consideration that he can literally only die at the hands of another god and ha, like anyone really wants to take him on anyway. And almost every single god, other than very few exceptions, he isn’t the slightest bit interested in interacting with them. His route would start most likely with a simple conversation, half of what you say will end up confusing him. Don’t be a smartass to him, don’t ever, ever disrespect him or Lyrica, don’t flirt with him, just be straight with him. Honesty earns higher points than most other things and especially if you’re patient with him.
Answer his questions with practical answers, don’t beat around the bush or sugarcoat things. Never ask about the other gods, that’s a quick way to have him dismiss you. He hates talking about them especially Zeus. With his route comes surprise visits from Lyrica which will mostly only end badly for you because she’s extremely protective of him and will not like most who try. Lyrica herself will be one hell of a tough hurdle and you won’t get anywhere if you can’t earn her trust and approval because she means the world to Hades and he won’t be with someone his little girl doesn’t like.
If you manage to get Lyrica on your side (good luck man, phew), then there’s getting him to even see someone in that light since flirting is yet another way to be dismissed by him, but keeping things strictly platonic won’t likely go anywhere either. Patience is key here, I can’t say that enough. There are literally no right answers for him, mostly just ones that aren’t bad and then the bad ones. The average end that most will end up with is him just being friends with you. Good end, you earn both his and Lyrica’s trust, you spent this incredible amount of time with him and somehow manage to get him to look at you that way (again, good luck), then you’d have even more issues with him rarely ever being able to leave the Underworld on top of him still being unable to tell you most of his secrets, half the palace would be off-limits and a lot of the Underworld too but he is very capable of making someone happy.
The best ways to increase his affection are basically already stated. Patience, honesty, and treating Lyrica good. Actually, the most endearing thing to him is when someone is good to Lyrica, especially if they act almost motherly towards her. That’s likely the fastest way to earn his heart. He loves plays, shows, operas, nice romantic little dinners, and overall, very old fashioned types of courting. He’s an old fashioned kind of god so anything too modern will totally throw him off. It’s best if the other person understands more of the human world than him so that they can teach him the things he’s missed out on all these centuries.
When he’s in that place, he has this innocently sweet charm that comes naturally to him and he will want to take care of and spoil anyone he cares for. You’ll have adopted a daughter that after you’ve won her over, will love you just as fiercely as she does Hades and will have granted yourself an eternity of happiness with the god. Bad end… you say or do something wrong and he simply dismisses you and never lets you come back around again. Either that or Lyr never warms up to you and she herself basically throws you away or even worse, kills you herself. Really bad end? You earn his wrath and he kills you as punishment then punishes you in neverending torment in the Underworld. Good luck!
Tumblr media
Seto’s route would be… hm, to be honest, I’m not completely sure. I don’t think he’d really be that tough, mostly just because of the things he has to deal with, I think he’ll be another that takes time. Kimi and his mother take most of his time and attention, he won’t be all that much there during it and then there’s the grief when his mother does die and then having to chase after his sister. I’ve tried to run a few different scenarios in my head for him and I still can’t really figure out what he’d take to well enough. Like, flirting I think he’s a bit like Emil and kinda like “wait, are you talking to me,” sort of deal because he’s lived a rather sheltered life considering who his father was so he’s not used to the attention very much.
I’m thinking coming at him without the intention of something more is best. I think he’d like someone who is simple, someone he can hold a conversation with. He isn’t the best at it so I think when he finds someone he can talk so easily with, that will be the first “oh wow” moment for him. He himself doesn’t really flirt, at least not right off the bat. Even though he isn’t used to things like flirting or a lot of compliments, he’s not easily flustered either. He’s more of the type that just rolls with the punches and doesn’t let most things to him. He definitely can appreciate someone’s strength, physical, emotional, or mentally. And he also isn’t down for temporary things, if he can see right from the beginning you just want to sleep with him or have no actual future figured out for yourself, he’s likely not going to give you the time of day. He likes seeing someone who’s got it together for the most part.
Perhaps having long and possibly deep conversations with him would be best once you’ve gotten past that initial awkwardness. Bonus points if the person is funny, he enjoys a good joke or two. Eventually, they’ll have to endure some visits with Kimi who other than her anger towards Shiori for what happened to Kaito, is overall a decent woman and so long as the person on his route is a good person, it won’t be that hard to get her approval. Though really, Seto likely wouldn’t feel the need for it anyway when he considers what Kimi did without his approval. So basically, win his affection with stimulating conversation, a good heart, and overall kindness and strength.
That pretty much sums up what I’ve got so far, maybe as I get the chance to use him more I’ll figure out more. Good end is that you win his heart and you’ll have yourself a very caring, loyal and affectionate boyfriend who totally has the image of a future with a couple of kids in his head. He’s not afraid to come out with what he feels so when he does like you, he’ll straight up tell you and so on for all that comes later. Bad end isn’t really bad, just he decides you’re not suited for him and he moves on.
Tumblr media
Alayna is another who needs a lot of patience. Not nearly as much as Hades but still. Granted, she is the type to be able to acknowledge a pretty face when she sees one, it’s more of a very impersonal sort of manner about it. Working through her awkwardness and constantly flustered state will be the biggest challenge. Though she isn’t self-conscious, she does write off most compliments given to her as the person just being kind and flirting with her just ends up with her far too flustered to be able to deal. The best way to get to the good end with her is to be calm, be patient and just keep trying.
Getting a wrong answer for her is hard because, for the most part, she appreciates all input given to her so long as it’s not something rude and obviously a bad choice. Treat her with respect, be a good person, don’t let the fact that she people-watches and will likely study you get to you. You’ll have periods where she just kinda disappears and if you’ve gotten far enough you’ll be able to find her in her apartment in the zone when it comes to her writing. If you come across her like this, simply taking care of her without much interruption is the best thing for her. Food, drinks, a blanket or move her when she falls asleep (she will fall asleep right at her desk and half the time end up on the floor), all good ways to score points with her.
She prefers a gentle soul, deep conversation and the other must definitely have an interest in reading. She will love discussing books she’s read and if you share the same interest or have the same books you’ve read, she’ll take to you far quicker. A way to lose points would be spending too much money on or around her, flirting too much, or someone with a big ego. She was raised with wealth, is still a rich heiress even though you wouldn’t know just by looking at her, so money isn’t something she’s worried about and if you go crazy on it, she’ll likely think you’re trying to buy her affection and that will end badly. Flirting too much, again, makes it too hard for her to actually interact with someone and she will likely end up avoiding you if you do. Big egos actually piss her off, she really doesn’t believe that any one person is as amazing as their ego leaves them to believe and that everyone has flaws. Coming at her as if you’re the best thing since sliced bread will have her knocking you off your high horse and then ditching.
Bonus points can be earned with walks on the beach, strolls at night, reading together, actually showing interest in her work, never treating her any differently once you find out she’s a famous author and a rich heiress, and a love for animals. Good end, you land yourself the cutest little flustered girlfriend who’s a total sap once in a relationship and comfortable. Bad end, she ditches you, you end up getting knocked down a peg, slapped and then ditched. The moderate end is just friends which is surprisingly less likely to happen than the bad end.
Basically, win her affection with a love of reading, a shared interest in genre, reading together, nice walks in less crowded places, a gentle heart, a love of animals, taking care of her when she’s not paying attention to herself. Encouraging her is good too, she may blush or get flustered if you speak of her writing but she hears you, that she definitely does and she can’t see herself with someone who doesn’t believe in her and her ability to write. That’s about all I have for her so far since she too is relatively new.

1 / he is born number three of four children and the world around him is exceptionally quiet. it’s not as if he notices, however. what he does notice is getting in trouble far more than his siblings, finding himself yelled at more than them, sent to bed without supper more than them, but he can’t work out why. in fact, he only starts to notice something is wrong when he’s taken to a doctor at four years old. there’s too many tests and his little ears hurt afterwards but they realise he’s deaf. he’s not a rude little boy at all -- he just can’t hear them.
2 / as a little prince growing up, claudio lives a relatively peaceful life. he’s a big lover of stories, just like his mother, which leads him to books. loving to tell stories leads him to a life of dance. he’s an excellent little ballet dancer, actually, which takes his whole family by surprise. terribly ungraceful in his real life, claudio is effortless whilst dancing, even when he’s little. it’s a gift that transfers into other areas -- movement is a skill that allows him to speak. he picks up signing and invests his time in the deaf community.
3 / he has a special teacher to tutor him on deaf culture on top of his regular education, he dances six times a week, he fences, he reads, he tells stories to children at deaf schools. despite the pressure on him from his parents and the kingdom and himself, he is doing his part as a good and noble prince. he is doing good and it feels good. unfortunately for claudio, sweet as he is, he is incredibly naive and easily wrapped up -- he loves to tell romance stories, love stories, sickly sweet disgusting stories, and so when a slightly older man comes into the picture, claudio cannot help but get swept up in the rush of it all.
4 / when it ends, as inevitably it does, he completely breaks claude’s heart. his entire world falls apart, really, and it takes him a long time to put himself back together. he loses all interest in dance and books and speaking ( relying purely on sign, with no interest in speaking english at all ), and instead spends all his time curled up in his room suffering. he’s a big romantic and so a broken heart really hurts him. as time passes, he slowly emerges out of his room and back into the world, still naive but much more wary about love this time.
5 / now twenty four, claude is trying his best to keep his life together and to stop himself from falling apart. his mental health is trying to get the better of him, but here he is, studying law, getting back into dance, returning to telling stories to deaf schools and pushing for more accessibility. princely things. good things. and god, god -- he wants to be good. he needs to be good, because being passable isn’t enough. being okay isn’t enough. he is the son of belle and adam and he is a prince and he has to be good. he just hopes the pressure isn’t becoming too much.
WANTED CONNECTIONS.
EX BOYFRIEND, 26-29. ANY MALE OR MALE-ALIGNED NB FC. this guy was claudio’s whole world. may or may not be able to sign. where claude was completely and utterly in love, this guy was in it for the clout, wealth, and material gifts. he completely and utterly broke claude’s heart. they dated for four years ( claude was 18-22 ) and it ended two years ago.
( suggested fcs: rahul kohli, sean teale*, austin p. mckenzie, andy mientus*, kiowa gordon, bob morley, henry golding* )
CHILDHOOD BEST FRIEND, 23-27. ANY FC. this person has been claude’s rock for their entire lives, as he’s been theirs. the two of them are seldom seen apart, even now, and are able to communicate by just looking at each other. it’s that kind of friendship. basically claude’s sibling outside of his siblings. likely a child of royalty.
( fionn whitehead*, geraldine viswanathan*, jordan fisher, lana condor, luke newberry, reina hardesty*, daniel durant, lauren ridloff*, shamir bailey*, ali stroker )
CURRENT LOVE INTEREST, 25-29. ANY MALE OR MALE-ALIGNED NB FC. this guy wasn’t in claude’s life during his last relationship, and so is mostly unaware of what has gone on, aside from gossip they might have heard. i would,,, love him to be the bad boy type to contrast claude’s preppiness. it would be cool if they were a villain’s child!
( suggested fcs: charles melton*, tommy martinez, rome flynn, dacre montgomery, avan jogia, diego tinoco*, alex aiono* )
BAD INFLUENCE, 26-28. ANY FEMALE OR FEMALE-ALIGNED NB. a bad influence friend. claude’s way too uptight for his own good and needs a little loosening -- also, considering his quietly growing interest in feminine clothes and things, he needs someone to help him explore his femininity as well as break the rules. could be villain or hero child.
( suggested fcs: elizabeth gillies, jessica vu, kelly gale*, lyrica okano, emma mackey, hayley kiyoko, emeraude toubia, maddison brown* )
EX FRIENDS, 22-27. ANY FC. people who claude was friends with before and during his relationship that his ex drew him away from. they didn’t know much about the ex boyfriend, but they knew he was bad news. claude desperately wants to reconnect with them. likely to be children of royalty. can be any number of muses!
( suggested fcs: naomi scott, chella man*, anthony ramos, nico tortorella, iman meskini*, maddie baillio*, maxence danet-fauvel, maia cotton, marlon langeland*, shannon purser, herman tommeraas, ingrid nilson*, cengiz al*, courtney eaton*  )
BRAND NEW FRIENDS, 22-29. ANY FCS. literally just give this boy some friends. we can discuss how and where and why they met and what their dynamics are, he just needs some pals, honestly. could be villain or hero child.

anyway I can get lyrica for free at the hospital clinic I go to on account of being poor & all that, I just have to do a drug test first bc it's a controlled substance
which is funny as shit
both bc afaik there is no drug test for pregabalin itself, so it's not that they would think I was drug seeking to get high directly— it's def all to penalize other drug users & forbid them from… treating fibromyalgia while also liking to get high wuth unrelated drugs
based on the ofc flimsy idea that it would be ~just in case~ I was "stealing" this completely non-scarce medical resource to sell these pills to… somebody in the nonexistent street lyrica market, I guess (and I've heard OF them being used recreationally, but only in countries where generics are cheaply available, and literally only because it's there & it's cheap) & then either profiting on the government's dime or using the money to buy different drugs
which is some very galaxy brained "counting chickens before they hatch" hypothetical thinking tbh, bc junkies or not, people do deserve medical care, esp if they had to jump through 15 million hoops & prove and/or earn eligibility to get it in advance
but then it's also funny bc they're testing me like they think I got weed money to begin with when I don't even have consistent mcdonald's money lmao
so joke's on them if they wanna pay for me to pee in a cup so they can then turn around & also pay for my meds!! I really don't care!!
I'm broke & really not convinced people faking neuralgic pain are gonna go for the long con with a fibromyalgia diagnosis & seek non-euphoric non-narcotic drugs you can buy in bulk online for 1/5 of what pfizer's charging, but hey!! what do I know lol!! I'm just the certified impoverished™️ sick girl.

Hey Samantha, can I ask you what kind of anxiety you have/had?( If it is too personal I completly understand) I am struggeling with a generealized anxiety myself which makes kind of everything quite hard and complicated as I don't have a special situation where it gets triggered. Do you have any tips to share? (I am especially having a hard time at the moment going out in general and specifically to university even if I like my subject) Thanks so much and btw can't wait to buy and read Priory :)
Before I start this answer, please remember this post is just about my personal experience of anxiety. You should see your GP if you suspect you have any mental illness. They affect everyone differently.
I have Generalised Anxiety Disorder as well. I took a drug called Lyrica (pregabalin) for it for a little while.
I don’t have a particular situation that triggers it now, but it started when I got my book deal in 2012. I think it was because it was such a shock to suddenly have the life I had dreamed about since I was a child, and I immediately thought it must be too good to be true. My anxiety peaked in 2013, just before I took my final exams and The Bone Season came out. I had to spend a week at home and see a doctor because I had a complete breakdown. It’s a miracle I sat those exams, let alone got the grade I wanted.
For me, anxiety means that my brain is like a radar, constantly seeking out things to worry about. When it finds something, it latches on to it and makes it seem like the worst thing that’s ever happened. If I encounter the slightest hitch, I immediately believe it’s going to result in my death or some kind of dire personal ruin.
I’ve got a couple of ways to deal with it. One of my favourites is my GLADoS method.
But my best advice? Talk to someone. Find someone you trust, whether that’s a friend or a family member or your GP or a therapist, and tell them how you’re feeling. For me, that’s my mum. When I have a worry, I tell it to her straight away – no matter how weird or crazy it sounds – so she can help me figure out whether or not it’s actually something to worry about, or if it’s my anxiety inflating something tiny. If you keep an intrusive thought to yourself, your brain will keep puffing it up until it takes over your life. Let it out, show it to someone else, and it will often lose its power.

Fun fact about we is that we can fuse together at fucking will. It's fucking incredible that Steven Universe of all things helped me come to terms with disassociative fucking identity disorder.
I am sure you can guess how I picked my username! We can't all hold ourselves together like that! We need our own identities! Bodies! Identities! And bodies!
H h j h. Hbnn
That being said I feel it is more. I am a Vivisection, grotesque distraction, when entirely together like that. It's fucking Borderline and that Is Not fine.
Whenever we go to any therapists Together, even apart a lot, they say borderline. And there are just too many words to sift through as my entirety to pick the right ones.
"How do you know you have disassociative identity disorder?"
It's a long ass fucking story my dude, how do you know you DON'T? How do you know you're not autistic? I seem to know myself better than you if you cannot articulate it even without being an amalgamation of broken blood and mirrors as a god damn ghost!
I know the primary differences between being schizophrenic, bipolar, borderline, DID, schizoid, schizotypal, OCD, autistic, or attention deficit. I know how they could be comorbid, or not! I understand the core fucking concept here! And guess fucking what it is literally the hottest fucking discourse in your own field you obtuse ass!
You can see 10,000 signs all flashing at once, but can't give me two fucking minutes to describe one symptom? Die. I will die MAD about this. I feel more like a fucking (&) literally whatever that is than a person. I'm a god damn ampersand parenthases'd with a million commas and exclamation explanation fucking points and it's not because I'm on my fucking period! I do not even get those any more! With however many fucking souls it even IS, contained in this sack of meat. And being treated like an idiot for having emotions the "wrong" way is absolutely infuriating. Do not ask me a question when I am in the middle of answering an entire other one! Fucking hell!
Like this motherfucker. This motherfucker. Did not even know that gabapentin and Lyrica can do very different things even though they affect the same fucking area of the brain! Gabapentin is not used off label for anxiety and does not help lower back pain! Lyrica does both of those things! I already wrote him a far shorter and less inflammatory letter, but Gods Damned, it is actually hilarious that a fucking shut in knows more than the asshole hanging around handing out pills!
I have great respect for most people in the field but those who only specialise in medication are often very poorly trained on what the fuck constitutes one thing from another! And almost all of them believe that you are there because you don't know what you need, or that you are just a drug seeker if you do know! Fuck yes I'm here seeking drugs, are you fucking stupid? Like hot fucking hell. I just.
And why did they even remove schizoid personality disorder? Supposedly the people with it say they're fine? Wow hot damn that sure must be proof if you can say it with absolutely no emotion. When there's plenty of evidence of low life satisfaction even compared to other serious disorders, much less those who don't have 80,000 fucking problems.
I swear to God I am going to the next asshole up with as much written information as fucking possible and if they want official sources they can buy me a fucking printer! I could use it to bash my stupid skull in! (I will not but Still.)
Like these people over where I was raised? Don't know what schizoaffective disorder is? Are you fucking kidding me? I bet you don't understand the difference between either one and just decided to put down everything you thought was possible then shoved a dozen pills for all of them! I hate it.
Edit: & another thing! Having me take the same test 20 times that is not interpreted by the same person who gives it and is primarily concerned with moving blocks or naming numbers is absolutely not fucking proof I have a neurological disorder? That I literally don't meet the diagnostic criteria for? Like how the fuck is "I knew it was mean & that's why I did it" completely unbelievable for a fucking 12 year old? Half a fucking life ago and I'm still fucking toasted over it.

How Pharmaceutical ERP helps Distributors to manage Scheduled Drugs
One of the most important challenges for wholesale distribution businesses within the pharmaceutical industry is managing Scheduled Drugs, Limits, and Licenses. To control these requirements, many small and start-up pharmaceutical wholesale distributors use manual processes and spreadsheets, but this is often a really time-consuming process and prone to human error, a significant concern for pharma businesses where violations can cause huge fines and therefore the loss of your license to buy and sell the product.
Rather than it’s best to find an ERP software solution that will help to manage Schedules and Limits. Additionally, to all the other regulatory requirements within the pharmaceutical world like Suspicious Order Monitoring, Lot Tracking, and more. Basically, this ERP software will also be able to handle all your operational requirements including purchasing, accounting, financials, and warehouse management.
Overview of Scheduled Drugs
In the US, all drugs, substances, and certain chemicals used to make drugs are classified into 5 distinct categories. These Schedules are supported on the drugs’ acceptable medical use and therefore the drug’s abuse or dependency (addiction) potential. There are 5 categories (Schedules I through V) starting with Schedule I drugs which have a high potential for abuse and may cause severe psychological dependence, to Schedule V drugs which have the lowest potential for abuse. Common examples of drugs found under each Schedule are as follows:
Schedule I DRUGS:
Some familiar drugs assigned a schedule 1 class include:
Ecstasy
Heroin
LSD
Marijuana
Peyote
Schedule II DRUGS:
Some familiar drugs in the schedule 2 class include:
Cocaine
Morphine
Hydrocodone (Vicodin)
Meperidine (Demerol)
Methadone
Methamphetamine
Schedule III DRUGS:
Ketamine
Anabolic steroids
Buprenorphine (Suboxone)
Codeine and hydrocodone products mixed with aspirin or acetaminophen
Schedule IV DRUGS:
Ativan
Ambien
Clonazepam
Valium
Schedule V DRUGS:
Robitussin
Lyrica
Lomotil
While the DEA will assign all drugs a Schedule, these Schedules can be changed later and every state can prefer to change the Schedule of a product, as long as it’s never lesser than the Schedule assigned by the DEA. Some produce other specific regulations around drug Schedules. For instance, some states require that any distributor wishing to sell Scheduled drugs in that state must have its “NABP Drug Distributor Accreditation. Having this accreditation is similar to being ISO Certified but in the pharmaceutical industry.
Managing Scheduled Drugs with Pharma ERP
To help simplify drug inventory management, Meta-Pharma (Pharmaceutical ERP) provides many great features in our Pharmaceutical ERP software to maintain accurate information and meet regulations. For pharmaceutical distributors dealing with Scheduled products, Meta-Pharma (Pharmaceutical ERP) ERP allows you to.
Allot Schedules for both DEA/Federal and States (as applicable) to each product/NDC
Allot Licenses to each customer ship-to location with expiration dates, track State License information if applicable, and record all associated Schedules the customer can purchase under the specified Licenses
Inform the software used when a customer’s License is close to its expiration
If a user changes the ship-to location for an order, Meta-Pharma (Pharmaceutical ERP) performs a re-calculation to determine if the new ship-to has an acceptable License and if not, the system removes the products from the Sales Order. This includes Sales Orders coming from Meta-Pharma’s B2B Online Order Portal which gets automatically re-calculated to ensure active Licenses each time.
To further verify license information. Meta-Pharma performs an acceptable License check every time a process is to perform a Sales Order.
As you can see, using Pharmaceutical ERP makes it nearly impossible to violate Schedule and Limit regulations when it comes to selling products to customers. This is just one example of how Meta-Pharma (Pharmaceutical ERP) ERP helps pharmaceutical distributors manage inventory and sell products, without having to manually track and worry about meeting regulations. These pharmaceutical features are just a set of tools available as part of Meta-Pharma (Pharmaceutical ERP)’s full ERP solution.

Bermuda Triangle Coral Stride
Chouchou Headliner, Labria: G-Persona, so you can use it twice at most, but you'd probably only use it once. Not terrible, and you can't get full performance out of it because you aren't using Chouchous, but I could see an argument for "if you have a hand ful of garbage, this lets you send it back to the deck and try again." Not compelling enough for me to use this, mind you, but it's there.
Chouchou, Lillinel: On hit, pick a rearguard and you can either bounce it, or send it to the bottom of the deck and draw two cards. Not terrible, but you can't get full value since Chouchous typically give you benefits when they Gear Chronicle themselves and we don't have those here. Plus, the most likely use case for the non-Coral strides in this deck is "I ran out of Corals," in which case it's probably late enough in the game that an on-hit threat from your vanguard is meaningless, because they can't afford to let it hit anyway. Pass.
Duo Idol Emperal, Kuna: On hit, show your opponent two cards, get a second copy of one of them. You aren't going to get the countercharge because you don't have room to get enough Duos to make it remotely reliable, but it can be nice to provide some on-hit threat and maybe clone a card. But Kuna's on-hit isn't much of a threat for the same reason that Lillinel's isn't, so it gets the same verdict.
Festal Final, Final Priscilla: The GB8 finisher. Depending on how many Corals you have in the soul, it is entirely possible for this to not be as good as Frontier Star Coral, but if you already used those up, and are in GB8, this can work quite well. If your cards do stuff when you call them, so much the better!
Fluffy Ribbon, Somni: On hit, bounce something and call something and give it +3k. But it has the same problem Lillinel and Kuna, so Somni gets to hang out with them in the Not Included In This Deck Club.
Legend of the Glass Shoe, Amoris: On stride, bounce two. Boring and not super relevant.
Lucky Rise, Elprina: Basically Amoris. The bad news is that you have to pay for it via SB1, the good news is that because it's an ACT and not an AUTO, you can get some use out of it even if you stride into it with an empty field. Unfortunately, it has the same "bouncing stuff is not super relevant" issue that Amoris does.
Perfect Performance, Ange: This one is a little more expensive at CB2, but hell, you can afford it. It also has a nice use in that it lets you get around Lock, because it lets you bounce stuff in anything other than the vanguard circle, which means you can bounce stuff in locked circles. Plus it can swing for titanic numbers, and it'll probably get a bonus drive check to boot. Also worth noting is that this one actually has GB2, and of the Strides under considearation, this is the only one that does.
School Etoile, Olyvia: This was printed back when putting actual Generation Break icons on strides wasn't done for some reason, so even though this is basically GB2, it doesn't say GB2, so Layla won't give her another critical. Anyway, as for its merits, I think that in the context of this deck, it's a less good Frontier Star. Frontier Star powers herself up, lets you call two cards anywhere you want, soul charges, can flip anything it wants, is more flexible in what it lets you bounce, and is compatible with Aurora's stride skill. Which is not to say that Olyvia has no point, mind you, because Frontier Star won't put in full work if you didn't flip a Frontier Star via other methods already. So if your opponent gets the first Stride and you G-Guard, you can go into Olyvia right away, when the critical is relevant, and quality of hit still matters. This will slow down going into Frontier Star, though, so it's a judgement call if you want to do this, or even run the card at all.
Okay, so those are the relevant Bermuda strides. But that's not all the relevant strides period, because there's the Cray Elementals, and of course the Ultimate Stride. Megiddo is pretty good in the right deck, but I think it needs to be a deck that gives some sort of relevant stride bonus. Without that, then the best case scenario you're going for is "vanguard swings for 36k, then you get five rearguard attacks for 16k each (plus whatever triggers you got)." Which is nice, but again, Frontier over Aurora can pull that off pretty well, and it doesn't nuke your G-Zone in the process. Megiddo lets you call from the drop zone, but overall I don't think it's worth it in this deck. So let's move on to the Cray Elementals, once more skipping the irrelevant ones, but there's only four so I won't do the whole list thing. Heat Element, Merindol is an okay substitute if you can't get Arcadia Star Coral, Air Element, Sebreeze doesn't matter because even if the upcoming change to how Stride works didn't make it irrelevant this deck has nothing with Generation Break in it anyway, Miracle Element, Atmos should be skipped because if you've got Corals you should use them, and if you've already used them up then you should be using Snow Element, Blizza to swing for titanic numbers (and Blizza can also be a passable desperation "flip a Frontier Star" card, although you can just use a friggin' Frontier Star when you get down to it). Obviously, that's only twelve cards, so that means there's four left, which obviously are going to be the G-Guards. There's six to choose from (actually eight, but two of them require Chouchous we don't have), so let's get on with the list.
Blessed Sparkle, Sandy: The Super G-Guard, and it has an associated heal trigger, so I guess if you're using that heal may as well use this, maybe? It can guard for huge, but you have to be in GB1 and flip another G-Guard face up, so unless you're using Luxury Wave, Elly (or reasonably confident you won't be using all your G-Guards), I'd be careful with this one. Big guarding, though.
Chouchou, Palffy: A standard "hit the condition, get +5k shield" card, only notable because the condition is "have three or more cards in hand" and it came out well after the first wave of G-Guards. Pretty solid, and probably worth using, because Coral's got more drawing power than you'd think.
Hand in Hand, Leona: Bounce something, call something to guard, and if it's the same name as what you bounced then it gets +5k shield. I could see running it if you think you'll be calling triggers, or if you want to get extra guard value out of your interceptors, or heck, even use it to get some defense out of grade 3s. On the whole, though, I'm kind of eh.
Highest Society, Citron: Throw down a G1 or G0 and this guards for 25k instead of 15k, so it's pretty nice if you don't have a perfect guard but do have a fistful of triggers, or if there's some effect preventing the use of perfect guards.
Luxury Wave, Elly: The fact that this gets bigger with every sentinel and copy of itself makes me think it's meant for use with Transcend Idol, Aqua. The fact that you can SB1 to turn it face down after use makes me think it's also meant for use with Attractive Glow, Sandy, the grade 2 that can be pitched as a heal to G-Guard. We're using Aqua, but not Sandy. So I think this one is pretty nice, although the "turn it face down" part is probably not going to see much use, unless you're running Sandy as a G-Guard.
Sailor's Medly, Nasha: The original G-Guard. Show something with the same grade as a unit on your field and this gets +5k, which isn't very exciting. How reliable it is compared to Palffy is up for debate, though, because this requires specific cards you may not have, and Palffy requires you to have three cards and you may not, so eh.
So, what G-Guards to use? You can just roll with whatever's on hand, but if you're looking for something specific, I'd lean towards Elly, with maybe a Sandy. But if you're doing this, I'd say that Elly should be either "three with a Sandy," "four of it," or "don't bother." She benefits from multiples of herself, after all. So here's the deck, then.
4 x Aurora Star, Coral (Stride Bonus version)
4 x Shangri-La Star, Coral
4 x Shiny Star, Coral
4 x Active Pink, Larana
3 x Light Blue Heartbeat, Myrtoa
4 x Fresh Star, Coral
6 x Transcend Idol, Aqua
4 x Admire Successor, Lyrica
4 x Little Pride, Honoka
4 x Chouchou, Roberta
4 x critical of your choice
4 x Chouchou, Milena if you can swing it, but any heal will do.
1 x Angelic Star, Coral
And for the G-Zone, we've got:
4 x Arcadia Star, Coral
4 x Frontier Star, Coral
1 x Perfect Performance, Ange
1 x Festal Finale, Final Priscilla
2 x School Etoile, Olyvia
4 x Luxury Wave, Elly
And that's how and why I rebuilt my Coral deck. Pretty different from the last one, eh?
