Woah this is so cool, my mini comic Food Magik in the G:Zines vending machine at the Geelong Library and Heritage Centre!!
G:Zines is tied for my favourite zine fair, it's a monthly swap sell organised by a group of local legends who are doing so much for small press, zinemakers and emerging artists. I have such a blast every time I attend, and have been missing it so much the past few months while recovering from foot surgery! I'm zine deprived I TELL YA!

Bats are my favorite animal and it breaks my heart that they're always the scapegoat. Rabies? Bats. SARS? Bats. COVID? Bats. They're very unlikely to pass on rabies, despite what that rabies copypasta might have you think because they die quickly from it.

Dropped some new comics, new badges and new prints at the last G:Zines in Geelong! Thank you to everyone who bought something, and big love to all the other stallholders - the community down in Geelong is really exciting, I can't wait for next month's fair :)

We look at a display in a shop. It is magnificently garish. The colour pink leaps out at us, a defence against those who only love dullness and drabness. The walls are pink, the shelves on the wall to our right are pink, the cylindrical display pedestal right in front of us is pink. On a far wall, above a cabinet fridge, the words "Spiritual Convenience" are painted. On the shelves to our right are dozens of open compartments, each containing a different mineral.
On the pink pedestal is a display, a riot of items that could be used for fun or for rituals that focus one's intent. On top of a narrow black container with 18 squarish compartments is a pink hair dryer, like one sat under in a old-fashioned hairdresser's. Other items are displayed on the top of the pedestal. There are star sprinkles, essential and scented oils, various small minerals, holographic stickers, tubs of "wish powder" and so on. In the front and middle of the display, on a round lavender-coloured mat is a peach-shaded old landline telephone with a rotary dial. In the centre of the dial, a small sign reads "Thank you for witching with us".
Photo taken at Our Satellite Hearts, a spiritual convenience store in Ryrie Street, Geelong, Victoria, Australia.
