pairing: isaac lahey x fem!reader
summary: something is finally done about the lingering feelings between you and isaac
warnings: none. it’s quite literally just fluff
Tumblr media
the bell rings dismissing you from your last class of the day. you walk out with malia by your side complaining about your teacher.
“malia, she’s just doing her job.” you chuckle
“i don’t care. she’s not making any sense when she’s explaining things and she’s the only one whose given us homework for the weekend.”
“that is true.” you mumble as you two stop at your locker
“it’s stupid.” she says rolling her eyes. she looks past you as you dig through your locker. a smirk takes over her face. “your boyfriend’s coming.”
you look up to her quickly, “what ?” she nods ahead as you turn to your left. your eyes widen as you see isaac coming toward you. “oh my god.”
“good luck.” she says. your head snaps to her. “what ? where are you going ?”
“away from here. the awkward flirting makes me nauseous.”
“wait, malia. please.” you beg
“no.” she mumbles, “isaac.”
you sigh as the boy stops beside you. he smiles lightly, “hey, malia.”
the girl hums before she walks off.
you and isaac had a little bit of a confusing relationship. you two weren’t dating, but it was obvious you liked each other. you didn’t really know what to make of it since he hadn’t asked you on a date or to be his girlfriend. it was just a little awkward whenever you two spoke to each other.
“uh, y/n ?”
your eyes shut tightly before you slowly turn to him. when your eyes open, you’re met with a smile.
“hey, isaac.” you say softly
“hey. how was your day ?” he asks
“it was good.” you nod. “uh, what about you ? how was your day ?”
“good. good.” he nods. you chuckle as you nod with him. “i actually wanted to ask you something.”
“okay.” you say as he starts digging through his bag.
“i wanted to ask if you’d wear my extra jersey to the game tonight.” he says as he pulls the jersey out. you brows raise as you look up at him.
“really ?”
“yeah.” he says scratching the back of his neck, “only if you want to though.”
of course you did.
“yes. yeah, sure.” you ramble
“okay. great.” he smiles wide as you take the jersey from him. “i’ll be sure to look out for you.”
his heart skips as you smile up at him. his blue eyes searching your face before he looks down at his feet.
•••
a couple of hours had passed and the game was starting soon. you sat in the bleachers with lydia and malia while isaac, scott, stiles, kira, and liam were out on the field.
you wore isaac’s jersey like he asked, but you put a long sleeve on under seeing as it was always cold in beacon hills. you also tied the end of his jersey around your waist since it seemed like it was huge on you.
“you know, wearing someone’s jersey basically means that you’re dating.” lydia says
“does it ?” you ask
“yeah.” lydia nods, “trust me. so many different guys have tried giving me their jerseys. it’s like showing other guys that you’re taken.”
you look down at the jersey, “oh.”
“so, he’s finally making a move.” malia says, “thank god.”
“is that bad to where you guys are hoping that we finally start dating ?”
“yes.” they both say. your mouth opens slightly as you try to respond, but you come up with nothing as the game begins.
you missed how isaac had looked into the bleachers for you. his eyes searching each row until they finally land on you. a smile instantly taking over his face at the jersey covering your body.
•••
the game was nearing the end with only a few seconds left on the clock. the teams were tied and you could see coach basically having an aneurysm on the sidelines.
you weren’t too much into sports. only going to the games because of your friends being on the team, but you were on the edge of your seat.
it’s not long before you see the boys running around on the field. your eyes looking for anyone on your school’s team to have the ball.
you gasp as the ball flies through the air and isaac catches. the students start to cheer in the stands as he runs toward the goal.
“go, isaac ! go !” you yell as the students cheer him on. unbeknownst to you, he had been listening to only your voice the entire game. so, out of everyone yelling at him and cheering him on, he only heard you.
you and the students in the bleachers stand as he gets closer to the goal. you feel your heart beat hard in your chest as the clock ticks down.
just as isaac tosses the ball toward the goal, the buzzer goes off. it’s quiet for a second before the ball goes in. isaac earned the game winning point.
the crowd erupts into cheers as the team runs over to isaac. you and lydia jumping up and down as malia cheers beside you.
a couple of people step off the bleachers into the field to celebrate with the team.
you, lydia, and malia make your way down the bleachers and onto the field. you guys spot stiles first. malia walking up and giving him a hug as you look around.
“he’s on the other side.” stiles says breathing heavily. you turn to him to see him already smiling at you.
“go get him.” lydia says tapping your arm excitedly. you chuckle at her before you make your way through the students.
isaac laughs as his team sets him down. he turns as his eyes scan the crowd for any sign of you.
“isaac !”
he turns and sees you pushing through some students trying to make your way to them. you dodge a teen running up toward a friend as he smiles at you.
as you run up to him, he holds his arms out. you two collide in a hug with your arms going around his neck and his around your waist.
he lifts you off the ground slightly causing you to laugh. he sets you down as you pull away, but don’t go far at all. your hands holding onto his arms as his stay around your waist.
“that was amazing. i’m so proud of you.” you smile
“thank you.” he says, before his eyes trail down, “you actually wore it.”
you look down before looking up at him with bright eyes. “yeah, of course. you wanted me to, right ?”
“yeah.” he nods, “you know, i couldn’t have done it without you.”
your brows furrow, “what do you mean ?”
“i was listening for your voice.” he says. your face softens, “while i was playing. it helped me focus.”
isaac searches your face for any reaction to what he said. he doesn’t expect you to lean up and kiss him, but he definitely accepts it.
you pull away slowly. your breathing a little heavy as you look up at him. “i really like you.”
his smile widens, “i really like you too.”
you chuckle as he leans in again, kissing you softly.

Tumblr media
You agreed to a second date with Malia.
Despite the fact that you felt something was missing from your first date, you still agreed to give her a second chance. It was a weak attempt to shove whatever you were feeling for your best friend down into the pits of your stomach, but you were failing miserably. While you sat next to her in the crowded bar, all you could think about was Ellie and how her hands traced down your stomach and thighs a week ago.
In fact, that was all you could think about the entire week and it was beginning to make you feel pathetic. Every time Ellie’s hand brushed over yours when you were walking together, or whenever she licked her lips after eating something sent your brain into a frenzy. Her mouth, her hands, her voice ran through your mind on a loop. You were unsure what ‘touch-starved’ meant but you were almost positive that it was what you were feeling right now.
Things had gone back to normal after that night, despite Ellie abruptly leaving your apartment after making you cum. She was just acting as if nothing had happened, not bringing it up again or even joking about it in the way you expected her to. In fact, when you brought up the fact that you were going on another date with Malia she smiled and told you to tell her how it goes.
It was toxic of you, but you had to admit that her lack of jealousy pissed you off. The Ellie that made quips about the date being too boring and offering to ‘take care of you’ was gone, and you were unsure of how to feel about it. She wasn’t cold, but she wasn’t your Ellie anymore. On movie night that Friday she even voted for the movie Dina picked, making your heart sink. She was pulling away from you and you had to do everything in your power to not freak the fuck out.
Halfway through the movie, you got up and began collecting your belongings, searching the couch for your phone.
“Where are you going?” Dina’s voice made you whip your head towards her, her eyes trained on you when they should’ve been trained on that stupid fucking movie her and Ellie wanted to watch.
“Uh- I’m going on a date,” you replied, turning back to the couch to find your phone and place it in your pocket. Instinctively your eye’s flicked towards Ellie, her eyes were stuck on the TV screen, intently watching the movie.
“Oh, with the same girl as before?” Dina perked up, shifting her whole body in the direction of you and startling awake Jesse who had fallen asleep leaned up against her.
“Yeah, Malia.” You gave her a smile, unsure if she could even see it in the dark room, the only light coming from the glow of the TV screen. “We’re getting drinks downtown.”
“Oh shit, you know how you get when you’re drunk,” Dina laughed to herself making Jesse groan, “You get all touchy-feely and shit. You’re for sure getting some tonight.”
This made Ellie turn to look at you, green eyes illuminated and lips pressed flat. Your heart jumped in your chest, excitement bubbling at the fact that she might still care. She looked you up and down before turning back to the movie, doing her best to ignore the conversation.
“I mean, I hope so,” you awkwardly laughed, stealing another quick glance at Ellie, “I think I may be ‘touch-starved’ or whatever that is.”
“Well, I wouldn’t mind being touched by Malia, that girl is hot,” Dina whispered, so Jesse wouldn’t hear, “I saw her on campus the other day and I was like ‘Dam-”
“Can you guys shut up? I’m trying to watch the movie.” Ellie chimed in, her tone sharp. Dina playfully pushed Ellie’s shoulder before rolling her eyes and mouthing a ‘sorry’ to you and gesturing for you to go.
“See you later, guys.” You half-whispered, making your way out the door. Ellie watched as you made your way to the door, eyes lingering for a minute after the door had shut behind you.
Ellie was doing her best to be nonchalant but was failing miserably. It took everything in her to pretend that she didn’t know what you felt like, what you sounded like moaning her name. All she wanted to do was pretend nothing had happened, force a smile on her face when you mentioned going on a second date, and ignore the pain in her jaw from clenching it too much. It was much easier said than done.
It wasn’t news to anyone that you brought out a volatile reaction in Ellie. Whenever you were mentioned by someone in a negative light she had to physically restrain herself from knocking their teeth out, failing on two occasions. Whenever you were mentioned in a positive light, Ellie had to stop herself from listing all of the things she liked about you or getting jealous at the idea that someone may take you away from her. She knew she didn’t own you, but a part of you belonged to her and she knew that.
Again, Ellie waited by her phone that night waiting for you to text her that your date was over and that you wanted her to come over. She wasn’t expecting you to, but she still hoped that you would.
The date with Malia went as smoothly as last time. The conversation was good, the drinks were even better, and when her hand rested at the side of your thigh and she asked you if you wanted to go back to her place, you happily obliged. All of it was fuzzy, her frantically unlocking her door with your lips nipping and sucking at her neck, her leading you to her bedroom with girly laughs filling the room, her pressing you down into her mattress, hands pulling at your waistband, and you pushing her off the bed.
You sat up with a gasp and hand clamped over your mouth as you looked over the edge of the bed to see her sitting on the floor.
“I’m so sorry!” You quickly scrambled to reach out a hand for her, helping her to get up. You assumed she would be pissed but all she did was laugh and accept your outstretched hand. Your face had worry written all over it, your brows wrinkled and eyes wide.
“It’s okay,” she let out a breathy laugh again, shaking her head as she sat next to you on the bed, “I’m assuming you’re just not ready?”
You took a good look at her watching the way her features all sat perfectly on her face. You were ready, and touch starved, so why couldn’t you do this with her?
“I don’t think I am,” you reluctantly replied, an apologetic look on your face, “I’m just not there yet, I’m new to all of this so I think we should take it slow.”
“Of course,” she reached a hand out to push your hair out of your face, “we don’t have to do anything you don’t want to.”
Suddenly, the room felt extremely small and you felt the need to get out of there. It wasn’t anything she had done but the realization that you had just pushed your date off her bed was beginning to set in. You stood up quickly, smoothing out your shirt and beginning to make your way out to her living room where you had thrown your bag.
“I should go,” your voice was rushed and frantic mimicking your movements. Malia was quick on your tail, trying to reassure you in her own rushed voice, but it all came out as static to you. You turned quickly on your heels to face her, your phone and bag in hand. “I’ll text you, okay?”
You gave her a kiss on the cheek before rushing out the front door and whipping out your phone to dial the only person you knew how to call these days. You rushed down the staircase and out onto the street, pressing her contact number scared she wouldn’t pick up. It only rang once before you heard her voice through the phone.
“Hey, you okay?” She asked frantically, knowing that if you were calling her and not texting, than something was wrong.
“Um, yeah, yeah-” You breathed out, voice shaky and unstable.
“What’s wrong, Petal?” From your phone, you could hear her already getting up and getting her things together to come and get you.
“Nothing, I’m fine,” you lied, “Can you just come pick me up? I’m just at Malia’s and I need to get out of here.”
There was silence on her end for a minute. “Uh, yeah. Just send me the address.”
After what felt like ages of you shaking your head and looking around for Ellie’s car, she pulled up, headlights flashing at you as she approached. You rushed to the door, pulled it open, and got in the passenger seat, avoiding eye contact with Ellie.
“Hey, you okay?” She asked again, her voice much softer this time. You turned to look at her with your arms crossed.
“I’m fine, Ellie. It just-” You took a deep breath avoiding her eyes once again. “Can you just drive?”
“My place or yours?”
“Yours.”
Ellie gave you a curt nod before turning up the radio and driving over to her apartment building. Once you got there and both made your way into her apartment, you were suddenly uncomfortable. You forgot that you had on makeup and a tight shirt and leather pants that you were definitely not going to sleep in.
“Uh, Ellie?” Your voice was small as you followed her into her room. It was much cleaner than it usually was and didn’t reek of weed like it usually did. It instead smelled like… “Did you light a candle or something?”
“Yeah, why?” She glanced up at you from her place at her dresser, searching through the drawers for something.
“No reason,” you looked around her room once again, “Just wondering why it smells so good in here.”
She gave you another quick glance and a small smirk, taking an oversized shirt of hers from the drawer and throwing it at you. “Yeah it’s Cactus Blossom. Got it on sale and Bath and Body Works.”
You opened up the shirt and looked at it, it was a ‘Nirvana’ t-shirt that you saw Ellie wear multiple times before.
“It’s to sleep in, by the way.” She joked, noticing you stare at the shirt.
“Yeah, thanks.”
When you came back from changing into Ellie’s shirt, she was in her own pajamas: a loose fitting t-shirt and oversized boxers. She looked up at you from her place on the bed, her eyes lingering on your bare legs for a moment. She pursed her lips and patted the spot next to her on the bed. Climbing back onto the bed, you sat crosslegged next to Ellie, your hands securely in your lap. Ellie put her phone down to look at you, her eyes catching on your neck.
“Is that a hickey?” She reached up, finger brushing over the purple bruise on your neck. For a moment, you watched her face fall, but she quickly regained herself as she pulled her hand away.
“Oh shit, I didn’t even realiz-” You were cut off by the sound of Ellie using your name, something she only did when she was serious or mad at you. “What?”
“Did you sleep with her? Is that why yo-”
“What? Ellie, no.” You reassured her, not understanding why there was a need to in the first place.
“So then what happened? Why are you here and not with her?” Ellie’s voice was low and carried a hint of worry with it. Your eyes bore into hers, searching for an answer she wasn’t going to give you verbally.
“She just-” You dramatically sighed, looking down at your hands then back up at her. “We were going to. Like, she was on top of me and was kissing me, and it did feel good, I’m not going to lie, but then she started to try to remove my pants and I just-”
Ellie’s face was cold, her teeth clenched and her arms crossed in front of her body. She knew she was showing herself but couldn’t stop herself. “You just what?”
“I pushed her off the bed.” You admitted, covering your face in your hands and letting out an embarrassed laugh. Not to your surprise, Ellie was laughing too, a big hearty laugh that came from her chest. If you weren’t so embarrassed you would be basking in the sound, your heart leaping out of your chest and into hers. Instead, your face remained hidden by your hands as you shook your head.
“Hey, Petal,” Ellie managed to get out in between laughs, reaching for your wrist and pulling them from your face, “Let me see that face.”
You dramatically pouted, causing her cheeks to redden and grow with the grin she was giving you. “Nothing to be embarrassed about, alright? Hey, if I was dating someone that boring I would push her off me too.”
Ellie watched as the smile came back to her face and you playfully rolled your eyes.
“She’s not boring.” You reminded her.
“And you’re back.” Ellie teased, rubbing the inside of your wrists with her palm.
“Maybe I need another lesson,” You whispered, eyes not leaving hers, “Maybe I’m just not good enough yet.” Something dark flashed over her eyes before she gently tugged your wrists towards her, causing you to lean over on your knees, ass in the air.
“Are you sure you need another lesson?” She whispered, bringing her face close to yours. “Or do you just want me to be the one to fuck you?”
Your tongue caught in your throat, mouth going dry as you looked down at her lips.
“Just a lesson, Ellie.” You gulped. “I’m dating her.”
“Yeah, but you’re fucking me.” She leaned forward and pressed a kiss at the side of your lips, causing your eyelids to flutter shut and for you to hum. “Just admit what we both already know. I’m the only one you can get wet for.”
“Yeah, but that could change. You’re my frie-” She cut you off by releasing your hands from her grasp, causing you to fall forward into her. In one swift motion, her hands caught your face, bringing you up to her lips to kiss you. It was messy, teeth clashing and tongues fighting for dominance. Her knee came up in between your legs, pushing you forward, causing a groan to fall from your lips into Ellie’s.
She sucked on your bottom lip, one hand leaving your face to pull you on top of her by your waist. You sat with your legs on both sides of Ellie’s thigh, humming when her lips made their way to your neck. Carefully, she sucked over the purple mark left by Malia in an attempt to cover it up with her own. Your hand grabbed onto the back of her hand shoving her into the crook of your neck, letting a “Fuck, Ellie,” fall straight from your lips.
Pulling back from you she examined her work, content with the dark and larger bruising caused by her. Her eyes traveled back to your face, smiling at your swollen bottom lip and sweat beading on your forehead. Her chest was rising and falling dramatically, mirroring yours.
“I’ll give you another lesson,” she panted, lifting the thigh you were sitting on, causing you to stifle back a moan. “Oh, fuck..I’ll teach you how to ride. How to fuck yourself against my leg. That sound okay?”
“Mhm,” you responded, eyes glassy and anticipation stirring inside you. Both of her hands were placed at your waist firmly as she slowly moved you forward.
“What you have to do is,” She began, looking down to where you sat down on her. In the heat of the moment, neither of you had realized that you were dripping onto the skin of her thigh, straight through your panties. “Fuck, is this from that alone?”
When you nodded, Ellie blushed leaning forward to press a kiss on your cheek, hands still on your waist. “You really are touch starved, Petal.” She pressed another kiss on your neck, making you whimper and her grip tighten.
“You just have to rock your hips back and forth,” Her hands fell down to your waist, guiding you to rock back and forth against her. “Slowly, okay?” Nodding, you began rocking back and forth, eyes closing as you whimpered each time your clothed cunt made contact with her thigh.
“I think you could cum off of this alone.” She cooed continuing to guide your hips and giving you a gentle kiss on your jaw each time you made a noise. She was conditioning you to moan for her. “Don’t you think so?” Another kiss, another moan, another kiss.
“You can pick up the pace now, Petal.” You quickened your movements, rocking back and forth at a faster pace. Ellie brought her thigh up and pushed your hips down with her hands. She was pressing you into her, causing you to throw your head back and let out a volatile moan. She used one of her hands to catch the back of your head and pull you close to her.
Your movements began to get more jagged as you felt the familiar feeling in your stomach rise again. Her breath was shaky, her own cunt dripping at the sight of you. Your knee had begun to press into her through her clothes, causing her to let out her own moan. From the sound alone you were about to come.
“Come with me, come with me, fuck,” Her breath was jagged and breathy, but her grip on you never wavered. “Come with me, baby, fuck.”
That was all it took for you before you were screaming her name and collapsing into her, her own moan coming out much quieter than yours, and in short breaths.  Your hands rested on her shoulder, as your head hung low and you crawled off of her. With deep breaths, you leaned back against the headboard, almost ashamed to look at her.
“Was that okay?” Your voice was small, unsure of itself.
“Yeah, yeah, that was uhm-” She turned to look at you and gave you an exhausted smile. “That was good. You did good. A+ for you.” You both let out exhausted laughs.
After she got you cleaned up, and you didn’t mention the fact that you were going on another date with Malia, you both fell asleep silently in her bed. Again, she pretended it hadn’t happened and turned off the side table lamp as she watched you pretend to sleep.

These Wolves Keep On Scratching At My Heart [Isaac Lahey/Reader] (1/?)
Tumblr media
Summary: Growing up as a human in the Hale pack wasn't easy, but you wouldn't have traded it for anything. When you're twelve, a fire takes away most of your family, except for your father and two of your cousins. You're adopted by a kind deputy and officially become a part of the Stilinski family since your father can't care for you and your cousins have fled town. You think life can't possibly get any more complicated until you're eighteen and your brother's best friend gets bitten by a rogue alpha out in the preserve. Word Count: 3.9k Notes: Reader is Peter's daughter (I'm pretty sure Malia won't exist in this fic) and there's a lot of story to tell here, so please be patient with me! I promise I will explain everything. If you like this, letting me know would make my day! Read on AO3 The splintering of wood and the roar of the flames was deafening. Smoke had engulfed the house, leaving everything hazy and disorienting.
You didn't know how the fire started or where everyone went, but there was only one person you had on your mind as you stumbled towards your bedroom door.
"Dad? Dad?!" You called, panic leaking into your voice.
Everything felt like it was abruptly tilted to the side and you didn't realize that you were falling until you hit the floor.
"I've got you. You'll be alright," you heard a voice say before arms scooped you up off the floor. You were cradled against someone's chest as you coughed, attempting to take a breath. "You'll be alright," the person repeated, attempting to reassure you, even though their voice was fearful and strangled.
The next thing you heard was the sound of breaking glass before you felt like you were flying. You let out a cry of anguish when you felt yourself fall, the sight of your father's face watching you from the window the last thing you saw before you hit the ground.
"Y/N! Y/N, c'mon, wake up. You're having that dream again."
You jolted awake, the smell of smoke seemingly lingering in your room before you focused on your brother.
"What?" You groaned, attempting to shake off the nightmare and focus on Stiles.
"You were screaming in your sleep," he told you, his expression a mix of worry and dismay. "Again."
That didn't really surprise you. Whenever you dreamt of the fire, it always brought up memories and feelings you wished would stay buried. But since the fire had swept away your whole life, leaving you to rise from the ashes and start over, it was hard to ignore the effect it had on you.
"I'll be alright," you assured Stiles, unknowingly echoing the last words you ever heard your father speak. "What are you doing up right now? Isn't it late?"
"I was going to Scott's, since Dad's on a call and you were asleep. I was on my way out when I heard you."
Even in the dark of your bedroom, you could see Stiles fidgeting. Either he was nervous about something or he was up to something. Knowing your brother, it was probably a bit of both.
"Why are you going to Scott's so late? You do remember school starts back up tomorrow, right?"
Stiles rolled his eyes before flopping down onto your bed, ignoring your grunt of protest. "Yeah, but winter break was boring, and I've got something fun and adventurous in mind for tonight."
You narrowed your eyes at Stiles, knowing that whatever he had in mind was likely something that would get him into trouble. "What is it?"
"Nothing," Stiles denied, tone light and mischievous. "Want to come with me? See for yourself that I'm going to be an upstanding citizen and simply have some fun with my best bud?"
You knew Stiles was up to no good, but you also hoped that if Scott was along for the ride, then he would keep your brother out of trouble.
"Go," you sighed, settling back into bed. "At least one of us should be well-rested for tomorrow."
"That's why you're the genius of the family," Stiles told you, barely avoiding the pillow you aimed at his head, before he was rolling off your bed. You heard him groan as he hit the floor before he bounded up, shooting you a grin. "See you later," he said before he hurried towards your bedroom door. He paused just before he reached it and turned to look at you. "Maybe it's time you go visit your dad again," he offered, his voice low and cautious. "You were calling for him in your sleep."
"Yeah," you agreed, trying to keep the longing out of your voice for Stiles' sake. "I'll go after school tomorrow."
"Good," Stiles said before nodding at you, as if he was giving you his seal of approval, and then left your room.
You closed your eyes, attempting for a few minutes to go back to sleep, but you knew it was useless. Sleep would elude you until you quieted the maelstrom of memories and fears that plagued you from when you were only twelve years old.
You didn't remember much about the fire. It seemed like one night you went to bed and by the time you woke up, you lost a family and were on your way to gaining a new one. You remembered waking up to smoke and flames, before trying to get to your bedroom door to look for your dad. All you wanted in that moment was your dad, because you knew he would make it all okay.
Once the police and firefighters arrived, you were found half-hidden in a pile of debris and leaves, knocked out with a broken arm. No one could figure out how you ended up outside the house or why no one else tried to leave. Most of your family had been found in the basement, and you knew they must have been going for the tunnels, but it didn't make sense to you why they couldn't get out. Nothing about the fire made any kind of sense and you knew there were mysteries to unlock.
The only other survivor of the fire was your father, but he was in no position to take care of you. He was currently in a care facility, since his injuries from the fire were so extensive. You tried to visit him at least once a week, but it didn't make it any easier on you to see him like that when you remembered the man who had taken care of you your whole life. He never spoke about your mom, but from what you gathered, you were better off without her.
When Derek and Laura fled town, not even bothering to tell you goodbye, you didn't realize it was the last time you would hear from them. You were never sure if they were running from something dangerous or if they simply couldn't handle living in the same town that had robbed them of their pack, but you never quite forgave them for practically abandoning you.
The kind deputy who found you shivering and lost amongst the debris had taken pity on you that night. After realizing you lost most of your family in the fire and had no one else to care for you, he decided to make you a part of his family. You supposed there might have been another pack out there who respected your aunt enough to take you in, but you wouldn't have wanted to leave Beacon Hills. Not as long as your dad was still there.
The Stilinskis had made you feel like a part of their family from day one and you couldn't have been more grateful for them.
Over the past six years, the fire and events surrounding it had weighed heavy on your mind. None of it made any sense to you and even though people wanted to dismiss it as a tragic accident, you knew it wasn't anything as simple as an electrical fire.
The only person who seemed to really agree with you was Mr. Stilinski and while he tried his best to hide the evidence from you, you knew he was still trying to force the pieces back together so he could finally see the whole picture.
But you had a feeling he would never see the whole picture. Not unless he discovered all the supernatural ties that were holding Beacon Hills together.
You didn't even realize you had managed to finally doze off before you were woken by the sound of your dad berating Stiles.
"What the hell did you think you were doing going out in the woods by yourself at this time of night? At least you had the sense not to drag Scott into it. Really, what kind of kid hears there's a body in the woods and then decides to go looking for it?"
"I was just trying to help you and the force out! I mean, it's a big preserve! It really could've been anywhere."
"Nice try," you heard your dad sigh. "Just get to bed, alright? You've got school tomorrow and I'm not letting you skip because you're too tired."
"I would never," Stiles scoffed before you heard his bedroom door close.
You waited until you heard your dad's door close before you got out of bed, keeping your steps light as you crossed your room. You opened your bedroom door, poking your head out cautiously, making sure the hallway was actually empty, before you stepped out of your room. You made your way to your brother's room, barging in before quickly closing the door behind you.
"Y/N? What the hell?" Stiles exclaimed, turning quickly in his computer chair to face you. "I could've been doing something that would have been incredibly traumatizing for both of us if you witnessed it!"
"Please," you sighed, moving to sit on the edge of his bed. "You're shameless, but you at least manage to lock the door if you're going to do something like that."
"Fine," Stiles groaned, reclining back in his chair. "Weren't you going back to sleep?"
"I was," you admitted, giving Stiles an unimpressed look. "Weren't you going to hang out with Scott and respect the law or something?"
"I was," Stiles argued, affecting an innocent tone. "I totally respected the law and didn't get into trouble at all."
"You went looking for a dead body in the woods," you reminded him.
 “Oh," Stiles scoffed, trying to wave it off. "You heard about that, huh?"
"It's a little hard to ignore when our dad is berating you for something like that. What the hell were you thinking? You could have been hurt or killed or any number of terrible things." Stiles didn't know about the things that could be found out in the preserve, but you certainly did. You remembered the lectures from your dad when you were just a kid, telling you it wasn't safe for a human out alone in the woods at night. "And what about Scott, huh? What happened to him?"
"He might still be out there, actually," Stiles admitted with a sheepish shrug of his shoulders. "But he's a smart kid. He'll be fine."
"Fuck," you hissed, standing up. "Call him. Now," you told Stiles. "See if he's alright."
Stiles groaned before pulling out his phone, typing away a text instead of bothering to call his best friend to see if he was alive. After a few moments, he made a sound of triumph before waving his phone at you. "He made it out! He's totally fine."
"Okay," you sighed, choosing to trust your brother. "Just...next time you decide to go out into the woods, tell me, alright? I'll go with you."
"Got it," Stiles agreed, focused on his phone yet again.
You rolled your eyes, before reaching forward to pat Stiles on the shoulder. "Good talk," you told him before leaving his room. You were still worried about Scott, but you knew that Stiles would never let anything bad happen to his best friend. So, you went back to your room and climbed into bed, hoping that sleep would claim you soon.
When you woke in the morning, you were less than excited to start the last semester of your high school career. Stiles would be starting the second half of his junior year, but once June hit, you would be done with high school. You would have to figure out where you wanted to go to college and what you wanted to do with your life and the thought of that opened up a deep pit of dread and anxiety in your gut.
You groaned as you rolled out of bed, mindlessly going through your usual morning routine of styling your hair, putting on your clothes, eating breakfast, and then brushing your teeth.
Stiles' jeep was already gone by the time you walked outside. You were sure he had already left to pick up Scott, which gave you more hope that Scott was actually okay and not currently wandering around the preserve.
You climbed into your own jeep, a newer model than Stiles' with half the sentimental value. You got the car when you were sixteen and a lawyer contacted Mr. Stilinski to let him know that your dad had set aside a fund for you to be able to get your dream car when you got your license.
When you were a kid, you had wanted any and every flashy car that would let you go fast. Your dream car changed at least once a month and your dad had promised you that he would buy you whatever you wanted as soon as you got your license.
It hit you pretty hard when you realized your father had made preparations for your care in the event that he wasn't around to see you grow up. Even though you were grateful he was still alive, it still hurt that he couldn't speak and couldn't respond to anything you told him. You wondered if it hurt him too to watch you grow up and get older and live a whole life without him.
You didn't think much of the night before until you got to school and noticed Scott and Stiles standing outside. Stiles was in the middle of his usual fruitless attempt to get Lydia Martin's attention as you approached the pair. Scott seemed worried about something, which prompted you to sling an arm around his shoulders and ruffle his hair.
"What's with the long face, McCall?"
"He's freaking out about some animal that bit him last night," Stiles said, waving it off as if it wasn't a big deal. "There's not even a mark on him. It was probably a mosquito."
You tried to keep the alarm off your face, because it really could have been nothing. But curiosity would always get the best of you and you couldn't help but fish for more information. "Animal? What did it look like?"
"I didn't get a good look," Scott admitted with a shrug of his shoulders. "It was big and had red eyes. It bit me and I ran away. I think it was a wolf?" Scott's voice went high and confused on the last word as he sent an unsure look at Stiles.
"Bud, I told you, there are no wolves here. It was probably a rabid rabbit or something," Stiles dismissed, urging you and Scott towards the building. "Now, c'mon, let's go get this shitshow over with."
Your mind was spinning as you tried to get through your classes. All you could think about was a rogue alpha out in the preserve, biting people and leaving behind a trail of confused omegas in its wake. Beacon Hills had been relatively quiet on the supernatural front since the fire. The only thing even remotely supernatural around town was your dad, but he hadn't left the care facility in years. You supposed Deaton counted, but if Deaton posed a threat, then you supposed you did as well.
Halfway through your anatomy class, you pulled out your phone, shooting a text to Deaton.
'We've got to talk. It's important.'
Knowing Deaton, you wouldn't hear from him until it was a little too late, so you had to do something before the situation got completely out of control.
You thought the day couldn't get any worse until word about the new girl started floating around school.
"She's so pretty. Think she'll go out with me?"
"Her family moves around a lot. Maybe her dad's in the military."
"I heard her last name is Argent. I wonder if she's French."
All anyone seemed to want to talk about was the new girl including Scott and Stiles.
"Look, she's already been sucked into Lydia's orbit," Stiles pointed out with a groan. "You have no chance, buddy," he told Scott, giving him a consoling pat on the back.
"Well, Y/N's friends with Jackson, right? Can't you put in a good word for me?" Scott wondered, turning to you with a hopeful grin.
You shook your head, watching Allison, wary of any move she might make. "No," you answered Scott, finally tearing your gaze away from the new girl. "You should stay away from her."
"But--" Scott tried to object, but you were already walking away. You didn't have a good explanation for why Scott shouldn't go near Allison and you certainly couldn't figure out how to tell Scott he was probably a werewolf.
You passed Allison, Lydia, and Jackson, ignoring Jackson's nod of acknowledgement in your direction. You didn't have the energy to deal with Jackson, even though you would hear all about how you ignored him later. There were just too many things going wrong in too short amount of time and you were starting to feel like you couldn't breathe.
You opted to skip your last class of the day and head right for the care facility. The nurses knew you by now and most took the time to smile at you and ask how you were doing as you passed them.
Seeing your dad helpless and catatonic never got any easier, but you couldn't deny it helped knowing he was still there for you.
"A lot has happened since last week," you started, taking a seat in front of his chair. You reached out to take his hand, glad for the physical assurance that your dad was still with you.
When you were younger, the doctors and nurses explained to you that talking to your dad on a regular basis might help with his overall recovery, so you made sure to visit him as often as you could. "I started the last semester of my senior year today. I should be graduating in June." You glanced down, unsure how to continue. You didn't want to say anything that would worry your dad, but the only other person you could talk to was Deaton and that was bound to be more annoying than helpful.
"So, I've talked about Stiles and I've mentioned his best friend Scott. His mom works in the hospital and he's like a brother to me too." You let out an incredulous laugh, not even sure you could believe what you were about to tell your dad. "Last night, Stiles and Scott went looking for a dead body in the preserve. I don't know if they ever found it, but something did find Scott. I think...," you trailed off, wondering if there was any possibility where you could be wrong. Maybe it was a rabid animal and Scott simply needed a series of shots. But no, your life had never given you much luck, so it wasn't about to start now. "I think he was bitten by an alpha."
You weren't sure if it was just wishful thinking, but you could have sworn that your dad's hand twitched in yours. You glanced down at it, but it was still and unmoving as usual, filling you with a guilty disappointment.
"And now I've got to worry about my brother's best friend turning into a werewolf, but I've also got to worry about the new girl. She's an Argent," you explained with a wince. "Why are there hunters in town? Are they looking for the alpha or are they trying to settle down here? I don't like any of this," you sighed, trying to fight the tears that wanted to fall. You didn't know how to fix any of the messes that had sprung up just in the past day. If you were still part of the Hale pack, then your aunt would have taken Scott in and showed him the ropes. She would have hunted down the rogue alpha and sorted them out before hunters could converge on your territory. None of this was anything you were capable of fixing alone and you suddenly felt so lonely that you couldn't stand it.
"Dad," you pleaded, your voice breaking on the word. "I don't know what to do."
Your phone buzzed with an incoming text just as a tear escaped down your cheek. You hastily wiped it away before pulling your phone from your pocket.
'Want to help me and Scott search for his inhaler in the woods? Doofus dropped it last night running from Thumper.'
"Shit," you groaned, moving to stand up. You let your dad's hand slip from yours, trying to fight off the usual guilt you felt whenever you left him. "I have to go. I'll see you later," you told him as you stood. You gave him a kiss on the cheek and grabbed your bag, not letting yourself look back at him all alone in his room, since you knew it always broke your heart to leave him.
Stiles had sent you the location where he parked his jeep, and it wasn't long before you pulling up next to his car.
Scott gave you a wave when he saw you and it hit you all at once that loveable, dorky Scott was likely turning into a werewolf.
"Hey, guys," you said, joining Stiles and Scott near the hood of Stiles' jeep. "What happened to your spare inhaler?" You asked Scott, watching his expression fall.
"That was my spare inhaler and mom's gonna kill me if I lose it. You know how expensive those things are?"
"Well, no one wants to make Melissa mad," you mused, thinking of the last time she really got pissed off with Scott and your brother. Her anger had nearly boiled over until it hit you and you would do just about anything to avoid Melissa McCall's wrath. "Let's get this over with," you sighed. "I don't want to be out here once it gets dark."
"Yeah," Stiles laughed, bumping companionably into Scott's side. "Wouldn't want to run into whatever took an imaginary bite out of Scott. Although, I have some theories about that, y'know. Wolves and bites and howling and all that."
"What? What are you talking about?" Scott's voice went high and panicked, but you knew your brother all too well.
"You've got a disease, Scotty," Stiles started, turning a grim look towards Scott. "It's called lycanthropy."
"What is that? Is it bad? Am I gonna die?"
"No, not bad," Stiles said, shooting you a grin. "Just comes around once a month...during the full moon." Stiles threw his head back and howled before giving way to laughter. "Lycanthropy, Scott. It means you're turning into a werewolf."
Even though you knew your brother was kidding, hearing the words coming from him still sent a shiver down your spine. If only he knew the danger was all too real and you were quickly running out of time before Scott became a huge problem.
"Stiles, come on, this is serious," Scott groaned, kicking aside some leaves in an attempt to find his inhaler. "What if I have rabies or something? What if I've got an infection?"
"Scotty, you're fine. If it was something serious, you would've been in the hospital by now."
Scott started arguing with Stiles, but you noticed an eerie stillness fall over the little pocket of forest you were standing in. You didn't realize you were being watched until you looked up and saw him for the first time in six years. A whole host of emotions fell over you, ranging from anger to betrayal to longing to happiness, before settling on confused.
"Derek," you found yourself muttering, your tone fused with disbelief.
What the hell was he doing back in Beacon Hills?

Teen Wolf Masterlist
Since the day you were cursed, Theo couldn’t shake you. While the day had been fuzzy in your mind for a while and you apologized profusely for everything you said, the clearest part of it in your mind was how the chimera had treated you. He kept you from harm, sat on the couch with you, listened to your (embarrassing) stories. There was no turning back after that.
While Stiles, Malia, Lydia, and Scott left town to go to college or see the world, you and Theo stuck around for a while. Theo had to get his GED since he’d technically been dead for a while and obviously hadn’t been attending school. You decided on taking a gap year to work and save up before going anywhere new.
Your parents, being the worrywarts they were, were more than happy to keep you around after graduation. They converted the basement into a more functional apartment space for you, allowing you as much privacy as you could get while living at home. You still helped out around the house and ate dinner with them a few nights every week, but you were creeping towards independence.
At your insistence, Theo began spending a few nights each week at your place. Your parents knew only that he was a good friend of yours and that he needed a place to stay. That was all they really needed to know as far as you were concerned. Whenever they tried to pry, you changed the topic of conversation or told them it was a sore subject for Theo and he deserved some privacy and understanding.
With his increased time at your apartment, Theo began to realize it was becoming his place too. You kept a spare toothbrush by your sink for him and the blanket thrown over your couch was littered with the grayish hairs of his coyote form. His favorite music had made its way onto your morning playlist; you installed hooks on the wall beside the door for him to hang his jackets beside yours.
Just under a year after graduation, your home was his and he couldn’t have been happier. His favorite thing, which he admitted to no one, was coming home from his part time job to find you cross-legged on the couch in the common room with takeout on the coffee table and your eyes glued to the screen.
He knew exactly how things would go from there. Theo would hang up his jacket, his shoes discarded at the front door as your parents requested. He would sit on the opposite end of the couch to eat, always with a napkin on his lap and a coaster under his drink. Once you were both full, he’d drag the blanket into his lap and you would shuffle over to steal it from him. A bit of playful tugging would ensue, his instincts kicking in as he braced himself against the armrest and yanked the blanket away, leaving you to collapse into his lap.
You refused to move once you were comfortable. Theo never pushed you to. So most nights ended in an extended cuddle session, his arm resting on your legs and your head balancing on the armrest. You took turns choosing what to watch, though sometimes you’d just play music from your phone as you basked in each other’s warmth and comfort. You’d never tell a soul unless you got cursed again, but Theo gave the best cuddles you could never ask for (but always received regardless).

ok if this is just me then it’s whatever but for me teen wolf finishes at season 3b.
like allison dies, the end. the rest of it is what my brain and the brains of talented fic writers can conjure up, because it could be absolute nonsense and still be better than whatever the hell season 4 onwards even is.
liam is okay I guess. I like the season where stiles disappears. there are some (emphasis on some) really great moments and plotlines. but season 4 is such a fucking shitshow, honestly some of the worst tv I have ever watched, which is made even worse because I have to watch it play out with characters I love.
isaac, who had the potential to be one of the best characters, disappears without a trace, and later so does the wonderful kira
malia (who I high key really hate, sorry but she sucks) and scott get together at the end which is just. what the actual fuck
alison’s aunt comes back in the most contrived and stupid way I’ve ever seen (were-jaguar?? ik this show is weird and silly but give me a fucking break)
danny also disappears in favour of a personality-less gay best friend (sorry if you like him, he never did anything wrong it just pisses me off bc he only seems to be there for diversity points. I literally can’t even remember his name)
jackson comes back and is dating one of the also personality-less twins for no reason (and yet they couldn’t even confirm stiles is bi??? what a joke)
and the writing is just bad it’s just so bad… where the dialogue in the first seasons was campy and fun now it’s just cringe and borderline unwatchable, and the plot points are sketchy at best and completely incomprehensible at worst (aka whatever the fuck happened in season 4 I still don’t know)
sorry I’m really dredging up some 2020-teen-wolf-obsessed-in-lockdown emotions here but god I just hate it so much. there is so much potential in that show, so many great characters and concepts, but it all just devolved into twilight-level awfulness and honestly full on character assassination, all culminating in me not even giving a single flying fuck about the (objectively insane and exciting) movie coming out whenever tf it did.
yeah I love teen wolf but it finishes with season 3 the rest is up to fanfiction for me idk what to tell you 🫡

Camping Trip Part 1
Tumblr media
Where Y/N and gang decide to head up the trails for a camping trip! This is a friends -> lovers multipart series involving Scott and reader being stupid young adults who suck at sharing their feelings. Stiles and reader human solidarity! Enjoy the first part of this fic, I’m not sure how many there will be but I’m running with it. -Vx

~~~
If there’s a will, there’s a way. Somehow Stiles managed to convince you to come out on the trail with the pack for a camping trip. With a begrudging groan and a long roll of your eyes, you eventually conceded and told him “Fine.”
Now you were squeezed in the back of Stiles’ jeep with Lydia and Malia, whilst Scott rode shotgun upfront. All the while, you were internally contemplating making an excuse to get out of hiking the trail that led up to the campsite. It was stupidly long with plenty of rocks and vines to trip over, and the way you knew you’d be a sweaty panting mess made you sigh aloud. Malia heard it, looking over at you with a curious expression. “Y/N? Something up?” She sounded a little concerned, but that monotony she usually held was there. She was learning empathy, slowly but surely.
“No, no, nothing is wrong. I’m all good.” Your voice was exasperated slightly, leading Malia to cock a brow and look you up and down. “Just… I really don’t want to hike that trail. It’s easier for you guys, considering your super stamina.” A small laugh escaped your lips as you played off your doubt with a lighthearted joke. It was three or so miles uphill on the trail, and you weren’t the biggest fan of running uphill for long periods, let alone while carrying heavy bags. Malia hummed, her look becoming neutral once more. With a small nod she looked out the window. “Well, if it makes you feel any better, Stiles would always complain about the trail too at first. It’s all about pacing yourself.”  Looking at your bag in your lap, you softened a little with her reassurance. At least you wouldn’t be the only one having trouble.
Upon arrival when you climbed out, you couldn’t help but stare at the trail just a little ways from the jeep. Pulling your second bag from the trunk of the jeep was the easy part. The running? Not even close. When tapped on the shoulder from behind, you turned to be meet with bright warm eyes. “Kira! You made it,” your voice was live with excitement as Kira smiled at you. Her bag was slung over her shoulder as she hugged you tightly. This girl was such a bright light and you couldn’t help but share it whenever she was around, proving so as you hugged her back with just as much vigour. Liam followed behind her with his own bag and tent, looking at the two of you. “Why are you guys so excited? Aren’t we about to hike uphill for an hour?” He sounded a bit confused, and likely shared the same dread as you with that look on his face. Kira pulled away, giving him a small glare at his pessimism.
“Oh come on, Liam. Once we’re there, we can set up our tents and get a fire going. Besides, you’ll be fine. It’s just three miles!” Her positivity lit a determined fire under you. As all of you headed to the trail, you reminded yourself that you could do it. It’s just three miles. You’ve got this Y/N. Just keep going, this is gonna be a cakewalk. That determination died out the closer you’d gotten to camp, the fire dwindling as you continued to replay the same words. Was the trail getting steeper? Ugh. Groaning internally, you pushed on for the last ten minutes of the hike, throwing your bags that felt like they were full of boulders to the ground of the campsite.
A glance to Stiles would show him also in the same predicament, sweat coating his neck and his hair wet at the nape of his neck as he dropped his bags. On the other hand, Scott threw his arms up in a cheer. “Woohoo! We made it!” He exclaimed this with so much enthusiasm it made you laugh quietly. Maybe the hike was worth it. Scott then wrapped an arm around Stiles who looked incredibly pale aside from his flushed cheeks. “Come on, let’s get our tent set up.” Scott was still glowing with adrenaline from the run as Stiles shot him a glare, his voice dropping low. “Scott, I feel like I’m going to barf. Can we please wait like five minutes before any more physical activity?” Dripping with sarcasm as per usual.
“Awh, you’re no fun bro.” Scott’s tone was teasing before he looked across at everyone. By now, Lydia and Malia had begun to set up their tent. You were sharing one with Kira, while Liam demanded he had a stag tent since Mason immediately shot the invitation down. It was around 4pm now which meant there was still a few hours of daylight left, it also meant that you’d have plenty of time to hear the guys fuss over who’d light the fire while setting up your tent. Dragging your tent bag to it’s desired spot, Kira sparked up a quiet conversation with you.
“Y/N, have you told him yet?” She whispered, your head swiveling up to shoot her a glare. “Shhh! No, of course not…” Pulling the malet from your bag rather menacingly, Kira raised her hands up in playful defense. “Woah there, alright, I got it.” You and her shared a laugh as you pulled the studs from the bag. “Buttt… I think you should, he was staring at you the entire hike up. He had this look on his face like he was thinking hard. Stiles had to keep grabbing his attention.”
He was.. what? Is she joking right now? “Haha, very funny Kira.” You say, a slight twinge to your voice as you hand her two of the studs. “I’m not joking. I swear.” Kira’s voice was quiet but now serious. She’s not kidding. Oh god, she’s getting that look. “Okay.. Was his look more concerned or thoughtful?” With that question Kira seemed to pause, before taking the malet from you. “When you phrase it like that, I’d have to say he looked like he was brooding.” She shrugged it off nonchalantly with a swift hammer to the stud. Seeing how it secured itself neatly in the ground, you ended up handing her the rest of the studs whilst you set the poles up for each one.
Well now I guess I have to be careful. If I take that chance and it turns out Kira was wrong, there would be no turning back. Maybe Stiles would know something? But if he ended up telling Scott, it’d also mess things up. Boys are dumb.
Setting the last pole up for the tent was a sitch. You ended up crawling inside with Kira to gossip a little more, etching out a plan for dinner when there were noises of the boys fueding over the fire drowning out your conversation. “And so it begins…” Kira trailed off, lightheartedly rolling her eyes as you giggled. “Should we go see for ourselves?” “Absolutely.”
Getting back out of the tent, you and Kira stood there to see Liam holding the matches away from Stiles while Scott stood with his arms crossed. The grin on his face reeked of amusement as Stiles tried to grab for the matches hopelessly. “You both know that there’s no hope for a fire without lighter fluid, right?” Lydia’s voice cut through the chaos as she held the red capped bottle up. Malia was smirking beside her as she saw Stiles’ look of defeat, turning to look at Lydia. “Good one.”
Stiles clasped his hands together, beginning to plead with Lydia near pathetically. Liam on the other hand stuffed the matches into his pocket. You’d brought lighter fluid as well but with the way Stiles was so vehemently pleading, it was better to stay quiet. “Anyone hungry?” Scott chimed in, breaking up the chaos that had erupted over the fire and shifting the attention to multiple hungry stomachs. Kira had raised a hand, grinning widely. “I’m on cooking duty! First things first though, we’ll need more fire wood. Especially if we want the fire to last.”
A small nudge to your arm made you look over at Kira, as she winked at you before looking over her shoulder. Following her gaze, you saw Scott starting to pick up kindlewood. Realizing she’d meant for you to gather wood with him, you started to shake you head as she nudged you closer to him. “Heeeyyy, Scott.” You’d said, giving Kira a dirty look as she walked away with her head held high. “Do you uh.. Need any help?”
“Hey, yeah, that’d be great actually. I don’t really know how much we’ll need exactly but it’ll be alot. I saw a small tree just this way if you want to help me break it down?” The way Scott lit up didn’t fail to surpass you. From the way his expression brightened, to the way he’d stood up to address you, it made you feel relieved. Maybe even a little excited that he wanted to spend time with you.
With a single nod, you stepped closer. “Lead the way.” You’d affirmed before beginning to walk alongside him. As you walked with him, you noticed him looking along the dirt trail. He seemed to have a different air about him, before he’d spoke up. “I actually went down this trail around three or four years ago.. Holds some pretty great memories for me. It leads back to the highschool about twenty minutes that way.” There was a nostalgic tone to his voice as he pointed in the direction of the school. “That’s why I know where to go, I know it’s pretty random, sorry..” A soft laugh escaped his lips as he looked up at you. A warmness eminated from him, like he was reminiscing over something that brought him fond memories. It was a glimpse into his emotions that you’d not seen before.
“Don’t apologize, Scott. I’m glad you know the area, it makes me feel a little better.” You’d offered kind words, picking up a few large sticks along the side of the path. “If you want to talk about what you remember, I’d like to listen?” As you’d bent down to pick up some bramble, you noticed he’d stopped walking.
“It was around the time when I’d just been bitten. I was so naive back then, I actually thought Derek was the one who’d changed me.” A chuckle passed his lips before he continued. “It was also when Allison and I had started dating. We’d met up that day at the bus bay when she decided to take me somewhere as a surprise. Somewhere we could be alone, that’s what she told me. We ended up driving this way and wandering this exact trail. Spent pretty much all day here just talking. It was her birthday.” Scott turned to face you, smiling slightly still.
Your eyes widened, realizing what he meant. Allison… She’s been gone for around two years now. From what everyone says, she must’ve been pretty amazing. Especially considering how happy Scott looks whenever he mentions her.
“Was it a good day? You look so bright talking about it, or her, I guess..” Taking a few more steps to stand beside him, you held the variety of sticks tightly in your arms. “It was one of the best days I had with her. I don’t think I’ve had a day like it since.” His tone was gentle, yet it was incredibly heartfelt, like a glowing light optimistically waiting at the end of a tunnel. It seemed like the warmth spread to you just from his eyes. That was always the way it went.
Whether Scott was happy, angry, upset, or stressed, his eyes were always a tell. They truly were the windows to his soul that displayed his vibrance so clearly. It was the first thing about him that captivated you. Whenever his eyes would change to the bright ruby when he shifted, it was like the window was pushed wide open. They amplified his very being, his power and aura. He was truly the most remarkable person you’d met, let alone the first supernatural. As your curiosity had turned into a crush, his eyes made you turn to jello.
This time was no exception.
Those eyes that were so magnificent glancing toward you at this very moment expressed a rare vulnerability for him. Scott had opened up to you about a special memory for him on the very ground you two stood on. This place would hold new sentiment for the both of you. Yet you would never tell him how much it meant. Even if Kira begged you to spill your guts, or Lydia persuaded you toward confessing with little tips or ideas, you still couldn’t. Not when it would risk ruining your friendship with him that you held to your heart as if it were the most fragile feather, capable of being whisked into the wind with a single sentence. As if that sentence was so easy to say anyway.
I like you, Scott.
Simple words that could shatter everything. ‘Simple’ didn’t even begin to explain your troubles.
“You know, from everything I hear, I really wished I could’ve met her.. Even now there’s still a lingering presence of her, like she’s still with us. Everyone keeping her memory alive means she’ll live on within each of us. In different ways, but she will.” Your voice is tender, offering your own vulnerability to the moment. However seeing Scott’s reaction only furthered your predicament.
Looking over to the small tree he’d mentioned for wood, Scott hummed in an appreciatory way. “I like that idea. That’s a pretty good way to think of it.” He grasped near the base of the tree, twisting and snapping it before picking up the fallen wood. “I think I’d want to make new memories for that reason. She’d want me to, cheering me on from whatever place she’s in.”
As you two brought back your gathered wood and kindle, Kira had begun cooking already when you threw some of the sticks into the fire. She looked up at you expectantly with a cheshire grin on her lips. “Sooo? How was it?” Her hand stilled in its stirring motion inside the pot, awaiting your reply as you kneeled beside her.
“I guess you can say we bonded a little. He told me about Allison, and it was like he’d opened up. Plus, we got quite a bit of wood. Win-win, right?”
Kira nodded, using her spoon she was stirring with to point to the pot of boiling soup. There was an aroma of celery, rosemary, and garlic with the umami of beef in it. “I’d say that’s a win. Speaking of, Liam finally caved once Stiles got ahold of the lighter fluid… Which took the majority of the time you were gone. We’ve got about thirty minutes til’ this is all finished simmering.” She then stood from the dirt, placing the metal stirring spoon on a cloth before dusting her legs off. “Once it’s all finished, we can settle down and eat. Plus, that’s when we can really get a bonfire going.” Your expression turned upwards, smiling as you watched your best friend stand to go and grab more cooking supplies. “Sounds good, Kira. I’m gonna go work on setting up the inside of the tent, you make sure that Malia doesn’t dig in too early.” Shooting Malia a grin, her head tilted up as she responded “Hey! I heard that!”
With a quiet laugh, you walked back to the tent, beginning to unwrap your sleeping bag with a moment of thought. When you and Scott were gathering spare wood, he looked so… Light. So carefree and happy. It was enough for you to sigh, absentmindedly scratching your arm. Scott seems to hold onto those good memories. I’m glad he shared them with me, maybe we can really make new ones together. With everyone here, I’m sure it’ll be easy.
The longer you’d been in the tent arranging your side, you realized your arm was continuously getting itchier. Taking a look, your arm had an angry rash that was breaking out along where you’d held the wood earlier. Shit… You groaned under your breath. Of course this would happen within the first four hours of being at camp. Reaching for your bag and digging around, you retrieved the calamine lotion before spreading a generous amount along the poison oak rash. The skin was an angry red which soothed with the pale pink lotion. As soon as you’d finished inside the tent, it looked like dinner was finished outside, everyone aside from Lydia sitting around the fire. You plopped down between Kira and Stiles, noting how Malia and Liam looked like they were competing to finish their bowls as Kira handed you your own.
“Here you go. Oh ew, what happened?” Kira’s voice grew more nasally as she saw the calamine lotion. “What does it look like? I happened to pick up some poison oak. Maybe someone with regenerative abilities should’ve grabbed wood with Scott instead..” I chuckle under my breath, looking up at Scott to see how his eyebrows knitted together. “Hey, I had fun! It was nice to talk, especially where we’d went.” There was that winning smile. It’s so hard to stay mad at him. Damn.
Starting to eat your soup with Kira, you’d praised her for the amazing flavor. She’d made a simple veggie stew, but it was incredibly delicious. All the notes are tied together perfectly. By the time dinner was done, the fire was roaring, Stiles and Malia kicking off to their own spot with drinks in hand as you’d sat beside the fire. Kira had gone back to the tent and you’d lost sight of Scott and Lydia. As the heat from the fire hugged your skin, and the liquor on your tongue stung its way down, there was a different contented feeling. Your friends' laughter and the quiet sounds of a radio in the background were enough to drown everything else out while you lost yourself in thought once more.
WIP Wednesday Game (by @kedreeva)
It’s WIP Wednesday, time for a little accountability, sharing your work, and getting a kick in the pants.
Here’s how it works:
In a reblog of this post (so people can find you in the notes) or new thread (w/ rules attached) if you want to play on your own, post up to five (5) filenames of your WIPs; not titles, file names.
Post a snippet from one of them. Snippet must be words you wrote in the last 7 days. We’re posting progress here. If you haven’t made any, go make some and come back to play!
After you’ve posted, people can send you an ask with one of your file names. You must then write 3 sentences in that file. If the filename is one you can't share from (for example, an event or gift fic), write 3 sentences on it anyway, and then 3 more on another to share.
That’s it! You can invite others to join in, or just post. I’ll be searching the reblogs to find people to send asks to!
If you’re reading this, you’re invited!
If you see someone posting a WIP Wednesday Game snippet, send them an ask! Make them write.
Requested/Friend event mentions under the cut! If you'd like to be pinged next week, send me a message to ask!
-------------
It's that time of the week folks! I'm dedicated to making this a regular thing because this game HELPS so much. Thank you to anyone that participates!
This weeks titles:
Love Like Hellebores
Let Them Fight/Fool Me Once, Shame on Yew
Atlantix AU (co)
Blind Theo + Chi + Liam's Anxiety
El Dorado - THIAM
Snippet of the Week: Let Them Fight/Fool Me Once, Shame on Yew
“Okay, actually, pay attention this time,” Theo huffed, turning back to Isaac, purposefully ignoring the two different growls.
One made him smile while the other had him wincing. Whoever had decided to put both Liam and Malia in this week’s group was insane. Each of them alone was distracting enough, for wholly opposite reasons. He rolled his shoulders, trying to shake off the lingering, whatever that clung onto him whenever the werecoyote was around. Three months was plenty of time to work out her fucking issues, or it should have been, so he thought. But no. A quarter of a year later, and here he was still dealing with the threats of snapped necks, bullets to the gut, or claws in his throat on a near daily basis. To top it all off, every time Malia so much as looked in his direction, Liam was growling on posturing, regardless of how many times he had been told it wasn’t his fight. The whole situation was so utterly fucked, all three of them near constantly on edge and the rest of the pack slowly getting thoroughly embroiled in it.
A sharp blow to his sternum knocked him back and the air from his chest. Theo’s eyes snapped back into focus, gold flaring in them as he snarled for a split second. Staring back at him, an eyebrow cocked halfway up to his stupid blind curls and mouth opening like he was about to say something that was going to just make the whole thing worse, was Isaac. The dull ache from the blow faded to the background, his focus sliding into place, narrowing to the “enemy” in front of him.
Tagging: (no pressure tags, is partly so that people ask me things and make me work on my shit)
Theo Raeken loved Liam Dunbar while Liam Dunbar could've loved Theo Raeken:
At this point my love for Thiam is evident and I love to think that my headcanons about them are facts but I also love to analyze canon and in my opinion Theo loved Liam while Liam could've loved Theo but we didn't have enough time.
Let me explain:
The first thing is that Theo's sexual orientation is never disclosed in the show but we can analyze what we get. Theo never showed romantic interest for anyone. The only two remotely romantic examples in his scenes are the ones with Malia and Tracey, however those instances were "programed", those were fake interactions impulsed by his -villanous- interests at the time.
Theo, however, seems much more interested whenever he interacts with men (I am not saying that he likes every single man he interacts with, but we can admit that even his expression seemed to change). Still, I don't think Theo felt anything for anyone -other than anger, jealously, etc.- until he met Liam.
In my opinion, yes, at first Theo didn't leave Liam's side because he had the power to send him back to hell but later there's plenty of times where Theo keeps showing even when he doesn't have to.
I have a post dedicated to explain how Season 6 Theo is the "Real Theo" and that Theo is pretty much mesmerized by Liam in many scenes. Evidently, he also feels some type of loyalty towards Liam to the point where he only decides to not leave Beacon Hills until Scott mentions Liam in that phone call.
Not to mention the amount of times where he saves Liam's life and helps him with his IED.
It's never stated explicitly but I think Liam is the first person Theo loved in a very very long time (or maybe the first one, we don't know how his relationship with his family was), wether it was platonic or romantic, Theo had feelings for that boy. I am personally inclined to think that those feelings are not platonic at all given the fact that I firmly believe that Theo might be gay or maybe bisexual with a strong preference for men.
Now, here comes the problem... Liam is a completely different case.
Liam feels resentful towards Theo most of the time and I think his unwillingness to send him back to hell has more to do with the fact that in Season 6 it's hinted that Liam will be the new leader at some point and he has to prove himself.
However, at some point things get much more complex because there's plenty of times where Liam keeps asking Theo for help even when he doesn't really need him. Liam listens to Theo and he knows that Theo is a reliable person -Towards Liam himself only because the rest of the pack never seems to forgive him, not even my sweet boy Mason- and wants to have him fighting by his side. He explains his plans and waits for Theo's opinion -the funny thing is that no matter how dumb Liam acts Theo will help him with his plans and save him if necessary-
And... the biggest point of the analysis on Liam's side is that it's heavily hinted that Theo is Liam's new anchor. Of course they never say it explicitly, but the subtext is too strong to ignore it (it's painfully obvious even). One of the biggest proofs of it is Theo saying "That's progress" when Liam controls himself after seeing him in that scene with Gabe because that line is a direct parallel to Stiles saying "That's progress" to Malia... HIS EX GIRLFRIEND.
I think Liam was not really prepared to accept that Theo was already his ally, his friend -given the fact that they smile at each other, they save each other, etc- and his anchor.
Liam was already feeling some type of affection for Theo by season 6B but it was buried behind the angry and annoyed facade Liam keeps for the entirety of that season.
Liam could've definitely loved Theo back but the show ended too early for Liam to come to terms with his new feelings.
I am choosing to ignore the existence of the Teen wolf movie because it makes Thiam even more tragic. If we consider it canon then it's very likely that Theo never confessed to Liam and Liam, at some point, probably buried his feelings even more until they faded.
A Normal? Day
Tumblr media
Summary: A normal day in the life of Beacon Hills Favorite Couple
Warnings: unbearable Fluff, plot points that wont make sense just yet
Word Count: 1.6k
A/N: I realized I dont have any of my Stiles work updated yet! This is just a short little oneshot to show people what my stiles writing will kind of be like. I wrote it to be included in a season rewrite that I am doing but It didnt fit great so now im just giving it to you for fun!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
*somethings that wont make sense to you will be explained if you go read my series rewrite in the next few weeks!*
A normal day in a supernatural world.
Step one, wake up.
Waking up is a long process for me. My lovely hyperactive boyfriend did what he always does for me each morning, wake up about thirty minutes before me, sit there as still as he can (which is not very still) to let me sleep in, give up after ten minutes and then get out of bed. Stiles woke up at six this morning, playing with my hair as I slept before he finally got out of bed. Like every morning since we started doing this, he placed his pillow and a spare flannel in my arms so I wouldn't  ‘get cold and lonely’, and then went to get himself ready for school. This was a relatively short process, throw on some pants, decide between a sweatshirt or a flannel, find the backpack and then he's pretty much done. For me on the other hand, it's a little different.
“y/n/n, I gave you five extra minutes. You gotta get up.” I groaned and moved the pillow that was in my arms to cover my face. To my disappointment Stiles took it off and started peppering me with kisses until I opened my eyes with a scowl on my face.
“I love you but I really hate you.” He gave me a classic Stiles grin as he moved backwards off of the bed.
“I know, you make sure to tell me that every time I wake you up.”
After walking out the door, and then back to it within seconds to make sure I was actually getting up, Stiles went downstairs to make some coffee and left me to get ready. I was running late, per usual, but by the time I made it to the car all of my things were there waiting for me, along with Stiles who held out a travel cup of coffee just the way I like it and forcibly handed me a banana.
“Eat.” I shook my head and motioned for him to drive.
“Too early, If I eat right now I'll actually puke all over your car.” He started the car and drove with one hand as he kept the banana extended.
“Babe, we do this every morning and every morning I remind you that-” I snatched the fruit from his hand as I finished his sentence.
“Breakfast is important and if you don't eat it in three hours you're going to come to me during class with a panicked look on your face telling me you think you're about to pass out. I know, I remember.”
I sound sarcastic like this every morning, but even through the snide remarks and the occasional unnecessary and undeserved insult, Stiles still looks at me like I'm the answer to the universe.
Step two, school. For this one I recommend that you don’t do what I manage to do every year, fill your schedule with all honors and AP classes, zero breaks or study halls, and more than three extra-curriculars.
I won't bore you with the rather slow details of a highschool senior. I will however give you this, classes are hard, I don't think I will ever be able to use a red pen in my entire life, and with each passing day somehow I find a way to be even more stressed than the day before.
The day ended with me sitting on a bench with Lydia and Malia, watching our boys play lacrosse from across the field and inevitably laughing our asses off whenever either of them would look over to make a face at us and get tackled or hit with something from the field. Ah the simple pleasures, you know? As we both waited for Stiles and Scott, Lydia and I spread our various school textbooks out on the bench in front of us, in all about sixteen heavy books set open as we studied. When Coach finally blew his whistle with one ear shattering blow after another the boys ran to us, practically dripping in sweat. Stiles bound up the bleachers, skipping some of the steps and leaned down in front of me, waiting for a kiss. I didn't look up from my textbook, and neither did Lydia as she responded to the boys while hovering over her calculus homework.
“Nice try boys, but before you even think about going anywhere but a dog kennel, you need to take showers.” There were a few mumbled protests but again without looking up she shooed them with her hands.
“Come on, off you go.” I giggled a little as they marched away in defeat, their cleats making a crunching sound when they reached the grass.
Step three, finally to get home, only to have to go to a pack meeting.
Like every other Friday the pack all met in Scotts living room, this time all agreeing to stay away from anything breakable. I promised Melissa I wouldn't let them destroy the house while she was out, and I keep my promises. At the moment there were no big problems. Though I still wince a little when I say it, it seems like everything in Beacon Hills is… normal. As weird as that sounds. But we still meet once a week, every week it becomes more of a group study/hangout than a real meeting, but spending time with our friends was more valuable than any solution we had come up with before. The only issue to discuss at this meeting was me. I wouldn't call it an issue exactly, but after finding out about my… species? People? Clan? I don't know what to call it, but after finding out about what I am, we still have almost no information about what that really means, for me or for them.
“Liam, as much as I appreciate the input, I don’t think being a truth seeker literally means that I can cheat on multiple choice tests. Even if it did, morally I will tell you again, cheating is a bad thing, and also none of my classes use multiple choice.”
They all tried their best to put Stiles and I at ease, telling us that in time we would figure it all out. But that was the thing, we didn't have time. We’re seniors just a few months from leaving this town for college, and once I leave I don't see myself flying across the country once a week just so that I can make sure I know the “truth” of Beacon Hills. The sun finally set and Stiles and I said our goodbyes, walking hand in hand out the jeep before heading to his house for the night.
Step four, stay up until three in the morning looking for answers about what supernatural powers you have. yeah , I know, that one's a kicker.
As soon as Stiles and I stepped foot in the door of his room we threw off our bags and changed into sweatpants. I took the flannel he gave to me this morning and placed it over my tank top as we stood in front of his clear board as if waiting for an idea to come to us by itself. The board was still blank, nothing there but a picture of me and Stiles together at the lookout in the woods. A little reminder that no matter what crazy ideas are thrown onto this board, we always have each other. We settled into our usual spots, Stiles standing and pacing in the middle of the room while I spread books and papers out over his bed, laying on my stomach and staring into the pages.
Finally, Step five, wait for the full frustration to kick in, and then once it's there, find a cute boy to calm you down.
I was laying flat on my stomach with four books in front of me, two from school, two from Lydia on the supernatural. I was hoping that in between my AP calculus homework and my college physics textbook I could figure out something new about my identity. News flash, it wasn't working. I groaned at the words in front of me, frustrated that for some reason the letters were swimming in and out. I took the books (all four of them) and slammed them shut before throwing them aggressively onto the ground in front of Stile’s bed and then taking the papers and just tossing them onto the air without any thought of aim or purpose. Stiles stopped pacing and stood still in front of his board, which now had a few red squiggles here and there along with the photo and a horrible attempt at drawing a wolf. He turned slowly to me with a marker in his hands.
“You good?”
“Not really.” He nodded and walked over, sitting beside me on the edge of the bed and putting the marker down. While I was still lying on my stomach he placed a hand on my back and rubbed it slowly.
“baby, do you know what time it is right now?” I placed my head in my hands and responded.
“No. Do I want to?”
“No, but I'm going to tell you anyway. It's three in the morning.” I said nothing and just signed into my hands. Stiles ignored my angry sighs and continued.
“Babe do you know what that means?” I shook my head.
“Well first of all it means that you are probably exhausted, which is why you're getting so frustrated with yourself, but more importantly it means that we have two hours before that night time diner downtown closes.” I looked up fast.
“Are you talking about the one with the pie, and the fries and the shakes.” He looked at me very seriously and nodded. Without another word I popped up on the bed and threw on a pair of crocs.
 “Stiles, no matter what I say in the mornings when you wake me up, I love you so much I think you might even be higher on my list than eating pie at three in the morning.” He gave me a broad smile and kissed me on the cheek.
“Say no more, love.”

Sims In Bloom: Generation 1 Pt. 15 (Teenagers in Love)
Tumblr media
Eventually, Spencer did find out about the kiss. She heard from Everett's twin sister Malia who'd heard it from Holly, and she confronted Everett one day after school. They fought about it but got past it, and Heather begged Spencer not to fear her friendship with Everett. She admitted her feelings but promised she supported her and insisted she'd never come between them. In the back of her mind, she hoped they'd break up on their own and Everett would choose her, but for now she was happy to be single.
Heather invited both Everett and Spencer to her family’s Harvestfest turkey dinner, which would also serve as a birthday celebration for her brother. Kris came by and so did Heather’s friend Dylan. Even Kash Pancakes stopped by to wish his best friend River a happy birthday. Curiously, Heather noticed Everett made a quiet exit around the same time as Spencer’s late arrival, and she couldn’t help but wonder if they’d timed it that way. Were they on the rocks? She tried not to think about it.
Tumblr media
River became a handsome young teen and went with his mother to a community space in Willow Creek. Daisy had heard of a UFO plant growing on the lot and was desperate to check it out, and for his part River had heard there may be good recycling materials there; he was already dreaming of following in his father’s footsteps as a respected Eco-Innovator. Daisy was disappointed on arrival to see the UFO plant hadn’t yet fully bloomed and was unlikely to bloom before the end of fall, but the trip wasn’t a complete loss: River never expected to meet his soulmate in a repurposed barn so far from Henford. But Cassandra Goth was a gifted artist just a year older than him, and he was instantly taken by her talent and her beauty. She lived with her family in a mansion in Brindleton Bay but was in Willow Creek to show her artwork with her mother, Bella.
Tumblr media
River couldn’t believe a girl like her was into a guy like him. She was so learned and cultured; he loved rummaging through the trash. But from that moment on, whenever they could combine their schedules in their long-distance love affair, they were inseparable. Heather loved Cass immediately, and thought River had chosen his soulmate well, but Holly saw someone who might steal her place as the centre of attention and judged her with more scrutiny. Daisy and Neal both loved River’s polite and charming new girlfriend and encouraged Holly to keep her feelings quiet, but soon enough, charming Cass had won Holly over, too.
Heather couldn’t deny that she felt like she was missing out on what Holly had with Kris and River with Cassandra, but she had plenty to focus on besides Everett and wanted nothing less than to be branded the “other woman.” If Everett and Spencer were having problems, he didn’t tell her, and she was afraid to ask, so she kept her focus on her studies and got closer to young Hazel.
Being eight years older than the youngest Nesbitt, Heather had less in common with Hazel growing up. But as they both got older, and as Heather was often the only sibling home when Holly and River had their date nights, Heather and Hazel grew closer. Heather helped Hazel learn to ride a bike, and they even made and exchanged friendship bracelets.
Heather had an exceptional relationship with her siblings and her parents – there was never any strife at home, and the Nesbitt house was a respite for their friends when they needed a break from their own families.
Tumblr media
With winter around the corner, would Daisy's quest for a UFO fruit have to wait until next year? ->

Friends don't look at friends that way
Malia x female reader
Teen wolf imagine
My parents are homophobic and I was raised to be a homophobic, but they are abusive and all and I realized that I didn't want to live by anyone's rules anymore, so I low-key cheer on LGBTQ+. And Malia is literally the only girl that's made me rethink my sexuality and here I am. So this is the imagine <3
Summary: yn has always been there for Malia, specially when she came back from being a coyote and getting her used to normal life again. She thinks they're just best friends till Malia says something that changes everything.
Warnings: these is my first time writing with these bi thing so please tell me if there are some incorrect things.
Yn had always been there. Since the start. Since the day that malia turned back into a human girl, yn had felt like something had strung them both together and she called it friendship.
Malia also felt like something was pulling them together, she had felt attracted by her, by the wayyn was so kind, the sound of her laugh, the way her eyes lit up when she was happy. The way she smelt like home, she felt safe whenever she was with her. She knew there had to be something more than just friendship, but she didn't really dare to say anything. Not really.
The pack saw how you two were close and talked between themselves that yn and malia should just start dating and spare them all the drama.
And their wish had come true when in senior year.
The dread doctors business was a nasty one, you didn't know who was a human who was a chimera and yn lived in constant fear that something bad would eventionally hurt her friends.
Yn was human and Malia tried along the rest of the pack to protect her at all cost but they failed when she was taken by the dread doctors along with Liam and Hayden.
Malia freaked out. And that's when she realized hoe much Yn actually meant to her. More than a friend. Definitely a lover, bit a sinking realization hit her that yn wouldn't feel the same way about her. But she couldn't spare those thoughts, not here in the tunnels going around in circles whith no other lead.
"We'll find them malia" said Scott trying to keep the werecoyote calm, even when he himself was scared that he may lose two lives with he was supposed to protect.
"But what if we find them and they're not alive"malia complained giving him a look between desesperation and fear" what if YN's not alive"
Scott turned around to face her" well find yn, well find your best friend"
"Best friend" Malian muttered with loathing
Scott heard and the corner of his lips twitched upwards"you finally realized you had feeling for each other?" He laughed despite the circumstances.
"You guys knew?!" Malia exclaimed her voice bouncing of the walls creating echoes.
"We knew all along! It was the most obvious thing in the world" Scott shrugged his shoulders and kept walking.
"Yn probably doesn't like me she just thinks of me as a friend"malia protested, her voice emotionless. Keeping her feelings to herself.
Scott turned around once again facing her eyebrows drawn together "Friend don't look at friends that way, you two have looked each other in the eye a little too long to be just friends."
Malia raised her eye row at him "you guys have been watching us?"
Scott started walking beside her " we even have a bet going on to who will say their undying feelings for each other first"
"Really?!"
"Yeah" answered Scott laughing
"We should put a bet on stiles and Lydia too"
While this happend yn had been slipping in and out of consciousness. And when she woke up, she was laying on the floor her head propped up into someone's lap.
She looked around her and tried to sit up.
"Thank God you woke up" yn turned around to see Liam to whom she was laying on and Hayden by his side.
"Where the hell are we" she asked looking around. They appeared to be in a old theater and a fence covered the only way out. She saw I was electrified and groaned.
"I thi k were in the dread doctors lair"answered Liam
Are you guys ok?" She asked the sophomores as she saw Hayden clothing her stomach were it looked like black blood staining her shirt
"Not really" replied Hayden clutching her eyes closed in pain.
"Don't worry Scott will find us" I hope she added in her mind as she went to the younger girls side holding her hand.
*A little skip to the good part cause is 1 am
Malia walked into the McCall house hold with tears threatening to fall from her eyes.
They haven't found them. Heaven only knew what they could be doing to them.
She heard Scott gasp beside her, and she looked up to see Liam and Hayden laying on the couch, Lydia putting a blanket over them as they slept. They looking over them protectly.
Her eyes searched the room but she couldn't see yn.
"She's in the kitchen" Malian turned around to see Theo giving her a knowing smile."she was asking for you"
Malia nodded to him and for a second stood there. Then she went and hugged him. "Thank you" she muttered and pulled away walking toward the kitchen.
She found Yn sitting in the counter a cup of coffee before her, she looked up when malia came in and gave her a small smile "hey there bestie"
Malia rushed over to her and hugged her"i swear ill kill them all" she muttered into her hair.
Yn gave a light laugh and hugged her back. Malia pulled away and sat in a chair next to her facing her.
They sat there for a moment just looking at each other yns hand in malias.
"Yn""malia" they both started and stopped and looked at each other laughing
"You go first""no you"
"No, but really Malia, you first"
Malia sighted and looked into yns eyes, she didn't know what to say. So she just looked at their intertwined hands and sighted.
"I dont ever want to lose you again"she muttered
"You didn't lose me, I'm right here"yn commented.
"No you don't understand" said Malian looking up into her eyes against can't lose you, j can't because if I do, I don't know what I'll do"she looked straight Into yns eyes and yes heart picked up "I don't ever want to lose you because I love you yn"malia muttered
Tumblr media
Yn gave a short gasp. She didn't... she wasn't.... but what if... what if maybe she was... what if she loved her back.
Flashbacks flooded back.. yn and Malia driving together throught the town blasting music and singing at the top of their lungs. Them laying together watching the night sky. Them staring into each other's eyes. I little bit too much to be Just Friends.
"I.." she stammered. Malian waited for her response her heart beat picking up, as she stared at the girl who had her heart." I think I love you too" she whispered.
Then Malia did what she had wanted to do ages ago without realizing it. She kisses her. Malian put her hands to the sides of her face and yn put hers in her arms as she kissed her back. Lips fitting together perfectly.
Malia pulled back for a moment of air "yn would you be my girlfriend?" She gasped out
Yn gave her a wide grin "i'd love too"
Whoopings were heard from the living room and laughs and clapping of hands.
"Finally!" They heard stiles literally yell
"Finally I don't have to be gay alone" mason laughed.
"You guys have been listening in?!""again?!"yn and Malian both yelled.
They looked at each other and giggled
"Do you want to take this upstairs?" Yn whispered to malia
Malia just grinned and took her hand and as they made their way upstairs they heard stiles yell after them"remember to wear protection!" Then Lydia saying to him"they don't need one dumbass"
So what do you guys think? I tried my best buy its 2 am and I'm tired. So tell me what you guys think and requests are always open

“that’s the point. it’ll be a break from all of that.” she says. “and we haven’t all met up in awhile. it’ll be fun.”
you shut your apartment door behind you as you set your bags down, “lydia…”
“please, y/n/n. who knows the next time we’ll all be able to hang out. you know how stiles is about this stuff.”
she was right. you knew stiles was worried about all of you drifting apart. and while you guys had all gone off and got your own jobs and homes, you still met up whenever you could. just standing there now, you can imagine stiles’ puppy dog eyes looking back at you.
“yeah, okay.” you sigh, “i’ll see you guys tonight.”
“yay ! okay, i’ll see you later. bye.”
“bye.” you say before you hang up.
•••
the bar is loud as you walk through the door. you were dressed in a pair of light washed jeans and a crop top. it was a very simply outfit, but you knew your friends would be dressed the same.
you hold your purse close to you as you walk through the bar. your friends were sat all the way in the back as usual. the booth you guys always take whenever you met up there.
a small smile takes over your face as you see stiles telling a story with his hands flying all over. as you get closer, scott looks over at you.
“hey, y/n/n.” he smiles. everyone else at the table turns toward you as you get closer.
“hey, guys !”
“y/n !” lydia says as she gets up to hug you. you laugh as she squeezes you before letting go.
“how are you guys ?”
“great.” stiles nods before taking a sip of his drink. he steps aside as scott gets up.
“i’ll be back.” he says before walking off
“here, y/n/n.” liam says sliding a drink over, “i was the only one nice enough to actually order it for you.”
“because you’re the only one who remembered it, asshole.” malia says
“it’s still odd knowing you can drink now, but thank you.” you chuckle. “where’d scott go ?”
“oh, uh,” stiles starts, “he went to go grab someone.”
you furrow your brows as you scoot in beside lydia, “who ?”
“guys !” scott calls out. you turn in the direction of his voice and your eyes widen.
“oh my god.” you mutter
“hey.” isaac smiles
“hey, isaac.” stiles says awkwardly, “glad to see you, buddy.”
“you’re back from france ?” lydia asks
“uh, yeah.” he nods
scott pats his shoulder, “he’s staying, too. i figured i’d invite him to the meet up.”
“the more the merrier.” lydia shrugs. she looks over at you before nudging you, “right, y/n/n ?”
“huh ?” you blurt out turning to her before looking back up at isaac and smiling, “oh, yes, yeah. the more the merrier.”
isaac smiles nodding. you hear stiles chuckling from the other side of the table. you leg flies out and kicks him in his shin under the table. “ow !”
•••
it had been about two hours since isaac had shown up and everything seemed to be going okay. everyone fell into casual conversation as usual. you laughed along with your friends before looking down at your empty cup.
you turn to lydia, “hey, i’m gonna go grab another drink.”
“okay.” she smiles. you slide out of the booth before heading toward the bar.
you sit on a stool as a bartender comes up to you. “hi, can i get a margarita please ?”
“of course.” she smiles, “coming right up.”
you give a grateful smile back, “thank you.”
as she walks off, you look down at your hands. you look over as someone sits in the stool next to you. your heart beat accelerates as isaac’s blue eyes stare back at you.
“hey.” he says
“hi.” you smile
silence falls between the two of you. you and isaac dated for about a year before he left for france. of course, it hurt, but you knew leaving was probably what was best for him. especially considering he didn’t actually have any family left in beacon hills.
when he left, you guys didn’t keep any contact. you truly thought he wouldn’t ever come back to beacon hills. but as he sat next to you six years later, he looked just as beautiful as he did when he left.
he was of course older and his features were more defined. he had stumble growing across his chin. and to be honest, you loved it. he was older, but he still looked like the same guy you fell in love with.
and as isaac sat across from you, he couldn’t imagine anyone more beautiful. your eyes were still sparkling and full of happiness. your skin and your smile just as gorgeous and as captivating as he remembered. whenever you guys were sat with your friends, he thought you would’ve caught him staring. and now with the two of you alone, he was afraid he wouldn’t ever be able to keep his eyes off of you.
“how have you been ?” he asks
“um, i’m good. i’ve been really busy with work and stuff.” you chuckle, “but i’m good. how about you ? how was france ?”
“it was great.” he smiles, “it felt good to take the time for myself. i really needed it.”
“i understand.” you nod. you look over as a glass is set in front of you, “thank you.”
“no problem.” she says before turning to isaac, “would you like anything, sir ?”
“no, thank you.” he says. the bartender nods before walking off. “so, what do you do for work ?”
“i’m a web developer for a fashion company.” you say
“seriously ?” he asks. you hum in agreement, “that’s amazing, y/n/n. i remember you talking about that a couple of years ago.”
“yeah, it’s not exactly what i wanted to do, but i’m still involved, so it’s amazing.”
“yeah.” he says as you look down at your drink. his eyes soften, “y/n ?”
“hm ?”
“i’m really sorry.” he says. you look over at him with a frown, “i’m sorry for just leaving like that.”
“don’t be.” you say shaking your head, “i understand why you left. honestly, thinking back, i probably would’ve done the same thing.”
“i wanted to call you.” he nods, “and i would’ve, but i didn’t know if you hated me or didn’t want me to contact you. i probably should’ve asked scott, but i knew he had a lot going on.”
“it’s okay, isaac.” you say. isaac can feel his heart skip a beat at the way his name sounded coming from you.
“so, we’re okay ?”
“of course, we are.” you say, “we always will be.”
isaac smiles wide, “great.”
you pull away from your straw to face isaac. his blue eyes following your every move. as you looked at him, you notice the look in his eyes. the same look he would give you anytime he saw you when you were dating. the same look that he still had whenever he told you he was leaving for france.
the look that told you that he loved you and would do anything for you. it was still there.

Pair of Foxes 🦊 | Kira Yukimura Headcanon
Teen Wolf masterlist
Requested 📨 yes/no (rules for requests)
Tumblr media
Being a fox shapeshifter (were-fox) and Kira’s best friend would look like:
I guess you can say foxes are drawn to each other because when Kira first moved to Beacon Hills you immediately befriended her—literally walking straight up to her in the library with a beaming grin. “Hi! You’re Kira right? I’m Y/n, mind if I join you?” Not even waiting for her to say yes you dropped your things and began pulling out homework for you history class. She was a little taken aback but polite nonetheless, “U-uh sure. I don’t mind.”
You’d known Scott and Stiles since middle school but hadn’t become friends with them until the whole Alpha fiasco when Peter bit you in hopes of making you a member of his pack. However, the little trickster you naturally are, ended up shifting into a fox instead of wolf—eyes glowing more orange instead of yellow and canines smaller than Scott’s. When Peter discovered this—shortly before his untimely death—he bestowed you with the nickname ‘Little Vixen’. Eventually you managed to fully evolve into a fox like Malia could as a coyote.
When it was revealed Kira was a Kitsune, a Japanese Fox spirit, you couldn’t help but go, “Look at us, Ki, we’re a pair of foxes! Ain’t that neat!” Of course her fox was different from your fox—for example she brought forth her spirit when wielding her sword and you could shift into yours as you came and went. Even when Kira’s fox spirit was thrown out of balance due to the Dread Doctor’s, it was like the Kitsune recognized the fox within you and held some sort of respect.
Basically the Fox didn’t attempt to kill you like it did everyone else. “Maybe it thought we were relatives or something.” “Well whatever it thought from now on you are gonna have to step in whenever I lose control.” “You’re my best friend, of course I’m gonna help you.” From that moment on you and Kira became each other’s anchors. She was there to calm you down on a full moon and you were there to put the Fox in her at ease.
“We’re like platonic soulmates, Ki.” “Platonic soulmates who are a pair of foxes. The best combo if I’ve ever heard.”
Kira always had a pack of extra clothes that fit you in her bag. Shifting into your fox form or fighting to the point your outfits are tarnished enough times had your best friend come prepared to everything.
There are days where Kira will catch you and Malia in your fox & coyote forms chasing each other on the lacrosse field or play fighting. This will have Kira running after y’all because bystanders are calling animal control, “Get back here you two!”
Another time you were stuck in your fox form and unable to shift resulting in you having to stay at Kira’s house until the pack could come up with something to fix you. This also meant Kira had to come up with something to tell your family when you were a no show at home for nearly three days, “the drama club had a competition in Los Angeles—Y/n got the lead role in their production of ‘Wicked’ so she’s there right now.”
In return you always covered for her when she’d be with Scott. “I’ll be your scapegoat, Ki. Just tell them you’re going camping with my family this weekend. They’ll never know.” “You really underestimate how good my mom is at finding things out.” Sure enough, they got the truth pretty quick when Noshiko spotted your parents out to dinner the night ya’ll were ‘camping.’
You two will have girls nights with Malia and Lydia whenever y’all are in need of a break from the world. During the three month period between the shit with the beast and the Wild Hunt you four spent every penny you owned going to concerts, festivals, comic cons, and weekend trips to L.A or San Fran. As you can expect, the boys would get jealous.
When Kira decided to go with the skinwalkers you were devastated to say the least. It felt like a piece of you was missing with the absence of your best friend. But Kira made a promise to check in every once in a while and you’d be the first to know when she was coming back.
After all, there was nothing that could stop the pair of foxes when Beacon Hills was in need of saving.

Note
scalia + mason "maybe i’m just new to this whole rescuing thing, but this, to me, might be considered kind of a step backwards."
thank you!
"Okay," Mason says, staring at the handcuffs around his wrists, "maybe I'm just new to this whole rescuing thing, but this," he lifts the handcuffs to emphasize his point, "might be considered a step backward."
Scott. Infuriatingly. Smiles.
"They're just metal; I can break them whenever," he says softly.
"YOU can," Mason points out, "but what about me?"
"Shhhh. They're coming back. And five dollars says they take us right to her."
The guards come back before Mason can mutter that he knows Scott doesn't have five dollars. He follows as they take him and Scott deeper into the prison, heart hammering wildly.
They, do, in fact, bring them straight to Malia. And Scott does, in fact, break his (and Mason's) chains easily. And then he simply picks Malia up and carries her out of the prison, Mason huffing and panting behind him, trying to figure out why he's here instead of Liam.
(You pass as human, Lydia had pointed out. Because I am? Mason had answered. Exactly, she'd answered back. And that had been that.)
Scott finds them an abandoned cave. He gazes at Malia and holds her hand while she remains asleep.
"Took you long enough," she mutters when she stirs.
She throws a smile at Mason. "Thanks for keeping him out of trouble."
Mason grins back. "Any time."
Scott huffs. "You owe me five dollars."
Mason takes great pleasure in throwing a crumpled five-dollar bill at him. And in Malia's laughter.

UMMMM
So...my hand has not left my mouth for the last ten minutes.
WHAT THE F*CK WHAT THE F*CK WHAT THE F*CK?!
I kind of can't believe Scott took the money.
Like, I know you guys are having money problems (...poor Melissa :( ), but I don't feel like stealing dead pool money is the solution to that...
Also OBVIOUSLY THAT WOULD END BADLY, SCOTT!
But, ya know, this is why you should never do anything without Stiles.
Actually I take that back. I feel like Stiles would've 100% encouraged taking the money. XD
So never mind. Either way, this would've ended badly.
Actually frankly, regardless, this probably would've ended badly, because Garrett wants Violet back, so, money or not, he probably still would've taken Liam.
THAT SAID.
I 100% did not see Garrett coming, like, at all. I legitimately jumped when Garrett slammed Liam with his car. That jump scare totally got me. They don't always, but that one definitely did.
Also WHY WOULD YOU THROW HIM IN A WELL?!
I HATE IT I HATE IT I HATE IT!
*SCREAMS*
F*CK!
FIND HIM SCOTT!
FIND HIM!!!
And then there's Derek, and his delayed healing, and whatever-the-f*ck is up with Peter, because he seems particularly unhinged right now and I don't like that at all because an unhinged Peter is pretty much disastrous for everyone. That said, I'm glad we saved Brett, and I'm glad Deaton was there to help point us in the right direction with the pack.
Anyways...
Positives.
I absolutely loved the Rafael and Scott scene. That was actually so soft, and Rafael really is hitting that redemption arc full force, and Scott can see it, and the fact that he's trying so hard to support his son now is honestly amazing and I'll happily take it. "Well you're here now." <3
Stydia team ups are always the best, and I loved everything about their scene with Parrish. Literally everything. The way that Stiles and Lydia keep exchanging looks, the way Parrish reacts to being on the hit list, the way Stiles reacts to Parrish complaining about it only being five dollars, and then the way Parrish reacts to it being five MILLION dollars. "Maybe I should kill myself." XD
Parrish is honestly so adorable. That said, he obviously has NO idea that he IS something supernatural (Lydia (and Kira, actually) vibes...kinda makes me ship Parrish and Lydia even more lol), which is almost MORE concerning, but DOES make me feel like the nice guy personality is not an act, so that's comforting. I just hope that whenever his supernaturalness does come out, it doesn't totally make him evil and change said personality, 'cause THAT would suck.
And last, but certainly not least, I'm looking forward to a Malia and Derek team-up. I feel like this'll be fun, and it will also potentially confirm my theory that Malia is just in love with everyone in the pack and vice versa, 'cause Derek is the only one left right now. XD
ANYWAYS.
SAVE LIAM PLEASE!!
Tumblr media
(Best one I could find but I'll take it. "Ooookay, that's kind of terrifying." I love him. XD <3)
Update: THE WAY LIAM IS CALLING FOR SCOTT I'M LITERALLY GONNA CRY AHHHHH!!! :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(
