pup anon yap of the day (week? idk) first of all, singing you a kiss on the tip of your nose, I just now read the comments to some of my asks and I have been kicking my feet for the last hour lmao, second of all and the yap, I had to get glasses, I hate them on me, I look so bad, a friend of my brother helped me with giving me the exam and some glasses while he got me some proper ones, the ones he got me to wear for now are squares, like literal squares. I’ve been rolling around in despair from it all day, this guy (we really need to give him a nickname) comes to my apartment, looks at me up and down, bites down a laugh and says that I look ‘like the fuckin’ yellow thing’ THE FUCKING 🤓👆 istg I almost slammed the door on his face, spent the rest of the day teasing me about it while I looked at him like this :| and tried (failed) to kick him out

also LMFAO. i was thinking like, you'd open the door and he'd think you were super sexy with the glasses or something but BAHAHA. if it makes you feel any better, i unironically wear the super big, square framed glasses like mine are HUGE (but anything's better than BCG's lmfao) hopefully you're able to get some legit glasses soon! the struggle is real.

Still haven't finished survivor lmao so I can't really answer that. My playthrough got interrupted in like April by a holiday and I haven't got back into it since. At some point I should resume my run and go back to trying to drag two children across the map

My best bravest girl. We had a friend and her 11 year old kid over tonight, first visitors besides a few family members & maintenance people since we've had Emma.

She shook a little at first, then quickly calmed when I handed out some treats to distract everyone and calm them down. Spring was an excellent example as always & was cuddling them in no time after his initial alarm phase.

After that, she initiated sniffing both of them on her own a couple times, played with me briefly in excitement when I came back out from animal room, and!! Took treats directly from my friend while we were sitting in the kitchen - she went to living room to eat, then came BACK on her own 4 times!!!

Picture is from the last hour of the night, with the kiddo on my other side playing a game and everyone else chatting, laughing, etc. Fully snuggled and relaxed. 🩵

(( Just a lil heads up!!!!

Due to being double busy with preparing and applying exams for the classes I teach this upcoming week (starting from tomorrow's class) AND working on a bigger commission to make a birthday card with 4 illustrations + the whole Graphic Design part of the thing, I need to take a break from internet stuff. You might have noticed the pups haven't replied asks in a day or two already.

I'll keep the askbox open for the weekend until Monday late morning as usual, but there won't be activity around here in this blog until I can breathe again. Last exam will be Wednesday afternoon, after that I still need to grade them in the course website and have a regular class on the Thursday. After that, I'll be back - and then I'll also finally get back to work on the Giveaway artworks too! I've started one of them but, as you can guess, it's paused now as well.

Anyway, it's just that. No activity for a week from now, probably; Ryder's blog has been paused for a while now too but I'll get back there as soon as I can as well. In the meantime, I'll be online as usual on my other blog, sometimes reblogging stuff. Well, see ya, take care, hydrate yourselves, I'll miss you all but I gotta do this 😭 ))

Susannah was very surprised to hear he was envious of her friendship with Doreen growing up: In many ways, she expected he'd have a host of friends by his side, that he'd never been lonely a day in his life, unlike her...to hear that that wasn't the case, that he'd never had as close a friendship, a bond as she did with Doreen...it was so strange to think about. Frankly, she couldn't understand why-even in just this short time she'd spent in his presence, she really was enjoying his company! It seemed just...odd to think someone so warm could be so lonely, in some ways.

For a moment, she felt herself relax, and for the briefest of moments, she toyed with asking if he'd be interested in being friends with her...

...only to discard that notion as quickly as it came. Sure, he was being nice tonight, he was being polite now, but would he feel the same way in the daylight hours? Would he want to be seen with the likes of her? Not likely. No one else did; why should he be any different?

She tried to ignore that nasty feeling swirling around in her gut as she fidgeted with her fingers for a moment, a little unsure of what to say now. A part of her was greatly curious to know more about him, to get to know him further, but she also resisted out of shyness. Instead, she replied, "I'm...I'm just glad to hear Doreen is doing well. I-Is Belle, the head maid, i-is she still working for the Gracey's?" She was always very maternal towards Susannah, just as much as she was Doreen...

What's Pepper's take on mysteries / Scooby Doo?

She's not the biggest fan of Scooby Doo. She thinks the old cartoons are boring and always falls asleep while watching them. She likes iterations like A Pup Named Scooby Doo because they're more zany and cartoony, but she still wouldn't consider it a favorite show or anything. More something to watch if she's home from school sick and nothing better is on TV. She isn't really into mysteries either unless Butters wants to play Inspector Butters or something, then she tries her best to join in.

How did you figure out you're a werewolf?

Subconsciously I've known since I was a preteen. Heavy bullying I endured made me shove and hide it away though. The straw that broke the wolf's back was me and my mate exploring Spirit Halloween, and there was a werewolf mask that just. Looked like me. I can't remember if he pointed it out or if I did but when I saw it all of the things I had hidden from myself spilled out. I remembered everything, every little thing that hinted towards it. I knew what I was and so did my mate. My mate reads me better than I read myself, and he has been my clutch on helping me figure everything out about myself.

The bullying not only stunted me figuring out that I was nonhuman, it also completely stunted my public love for wolves. I lied to everyone about my favorite animal literally until that moment in sprit Halloween. I told everyone I met that my favorite animals are possums and raccoons, just to deter the bullying for the wolves. It's a really long story. But I know what I am now.
