What’s extra funny about Nimona getting an Oscar nom instead of Disney’s Wish is that the former does a far more masterful job of capturing the “storybook” 2-D style with its stylized 3-D animation than the latter, which was one of its big marketing hooks.

Ideas and feedback welcome.#The core idea behind this AU is that LWJ goes to study with the Yunmeng Jiang sect instead of JC and WWX going to Cloud Recess #But why? Well I imagine Lan Xichen set it up to give LWJ a challenge (more social than skill based) and LWJ rose to it (begrudgingly)#Sort of a 'You've mastered so many Lan techniques but Other Sects have styles that are worth learning.' set up.#Lan Qiren agrees mostly on the basis that...well it's LWJ. Yunmeng Jiang is unruly but LWJ is beyond that riff-raff. He'll rise above it.#This is the story of a boy who thrives on routine and rules spending time in a place that is his apparent antithesis.#Also it is so warm there. He is used to it being cold and what do you MEAN just take off some of my layers?#I just want to see him struggle and flail in many situations. And get him in Jiang Purple. He really should sleep more. But for that he would have to cut some of his responsibilities off and that was just not possible at this time. He was in the middle of training as the Ancient of Balance, the GIW was too active and he needed to update the new servers over the weekend for the company.

So really, it wasn't on him for not getting enough sleep. He needed the money, he had to help his friends and without his lessons he wouldn't be able to control his powers.

On the other hand, he may have just said something stupid.

The Justice League may have summoned the Ancient of Balance, because of some threat. And maybe his co-workers had called the IT Department one to many times in the last few days. But it really wasn't an excuse for his greeting:

"Have you tried turning it off and on again?"

Yeah, maybe he needs a little bit more sleep...

(even if he knew in my opinion) and style being so comfortable with fadel that he forgot that he's talking to a hitman #it's the guy he's interested in. he forgot for a split second whom he talking to and trusted him enough to tell all about these #things about him which is kinda personal at least for some yet here we are with one who's trusting the other enough to tell things #and fadel is surprised!! no one can convince me otherwise I might be delulu but like i said i believe he already knows all of this #yet he asked and didn't expect that style would be so open about all this to tell him this the 6th and 8th gif tells a lot #fadel is still trying to figure style out but I feel like the conversation here and at the garage where fadel saw himself #style in working mode and how he helps out a lot at the garage and the conversation how his dad became his most important person #added a lot to his trust barometer when it comes to style. he sees him in a different perspective. light whatever you wanna call it #but it definitely trust his view on style a bit.
