Realized I have a lot more 70s style clothes than 80s

#as of now my fit for tomorrow night is black leather pants + some big buckle belt and maybe a few smaller ones + denim jacket #black mesh shirt + either a blue or red or orange top underneath (idk 😭) + my beloved leopard scarf #if i can find my neon pink and yellow scarves add those michael monroe style + a few necklaces and bangles and hoop earrings #i'll curl my hair and tease it + do some heavy makeup (teal eyeliner + red lipstick + some colorful eyeshadow but i have to see what i got)#still indecisive if i should go for black or purple boots :/ and i'll wear some type of sunglasses bc i have a lot of those #anyway so many of my clothes are more 60s/70s ish or have a more subtle vibe that's not specifically 80s unless styled a lot #man usually i come up with my concert fits months in advance but i only found out about this party like two days ago #the fact that's it's so cold makes it even harder bc otherwise i could just throw on some miniskirt with tights and a bikini top and jacket #then again i have lowkey hippie and glam/classic rock roots so ofc my wardrobe represents that #mel talks

one of the funniest things I've had happen in therapy was my therapist's failed technique that banked on me being idk like. nice. roleplay idea: barton's trying to say this BS that he's 'good at processing grief' when your muse was a witness to the absolute rage-filled and deranged rampage that barton went on after julien was killed by the joker in which he brutally hurt all but one of his henchmen (he killed the last one because he told him he was 'crazy' and that he 'better kill him, or he was going to tell his boss that barton had been there' and he literally just snapped, went 'you know what, i think i will kill you AND also let the joker know i killed you so he knows to never come near my family again' then killed him. like HUHHH?) at the time with your muse being like this

#;ooc #ooc #;d.ante #i like that it has some reminiscences to how paintings depicted the actual d.ante (fashion wise)#like the pointy shoes; the triangle shape on his chest that is like the one he has on d.omenico's painting #the laurel crown; the long robes; the use of red and black mainly #while still holding onto this fantasy game vibe look; like he just fits into f.go perfectly #the index and middle finger together making a reference to c.hrist (c.hristian iconography) as paintings often depicted this type of pose #a reference to the actual d.ante being c.hristian i assume #the spirals/circle-like patterns inside his robe #usually we tend to see those type of patterns when concepts like despair or madness want to be conveyed #it also fits with the whole layers of h.ell theme #also i might be tripping but the knot he has on his waist might be thisone type of knot made for rock climbing #which is also very fitting as a reference to canto 1; the start of the i.nferno part #bc it starts as he is in these dark woods and he sets out to climb up a small mountain to take a better view #but gets blocked by 3 beasts and so on so forth #i MIGHT be overanalizing it tho but if that was the case that would also be a nice lil detail #i really like when in the designs; there are these subtle elements that are characteristic of the figure in question #even if at first it might look random; which ok- sometimes it is; but also a lot of other times its not; but it gets underseen #its not bad if a design lacks on a 'meaning' behind it; the only difference is that if it has one; it adds a whole bunch more depth #because lets take as an example; a.rtoria/a.rthur's design #its not precisely charged of items/things that are reminiscing of king arthur but its still VERY iconic #it does convey a feeling that the character is either a king or a knight; so it works on that department #even if its lacking a bit on historical nudges and the such #it works in a different department; and thats good too because its afterall; a g.acha game and not a game that seeks historical accuracy #or like a.rash; but i feel like his design is meant more to convey an idea than a stylized cultural representation and/or show elements-#of his story; same as a.rtoria's/a.rthur's case #ANYWAYS WHATEVER #what the heck do i even know #dare i even add;; theres one pattern on his robe with 3 triangles;; the number 3 is also very iconic in the poem; 33 cantos 3 parts

#got lectured by my parents about how i need to look for a new job already even if i don’t have a full year as an actual employee at my #current work since i did a full year of internship first then got hired #bc i need to start thinking about getting more money and building wealth for myself and my future while also said that i need to look into #master degrees or something like that so i can have a leg up on said search for a new job #and then started to tell me that they could easily make me pay for car bills or health insurance or house bills or any other thing i might #need for personal care since i can technically pay it myself since my dad at my age gave my grandparents half of his salary and other #benefits but my job barely even pays for me to have somewhat of a health insurance and they keep acting like #i don’t know or don’t understand how dire the situation is for me to get a better paying job as if i don’t already KNOW IM GETTING SCAMMED #BY MY CURRENT WORK??? Humbling experience of all time is finding out that the band guys you're after are taken 🙄

If you became super rich and could design your own house, but could only add THREE unnecessary/random/expensive home additions (like how people will have bowling alleys, movie theatres, closets with museums of shoes, car display rooms, spa rooms, wine cellars, etc. in their mansions) - what three would you choose?

#I think I would have: an indoor pool (but like heavily customized with a faux weather system so I could get the feeling of swimming in #rain or fog or snow etc.). a very small arcade consisting only of skee-ball and DDR machines. and an old Library Room with authentic #historical furniture/interior design to store old books/tapestries/study room equipment/whatever other antiques I'd collect. It'd be #like some fully intricate movie set or something that would feel completely like stepping into another world/time.#Though I might would trade out the arcade for a roller skating rink.. i DO love skating....#And I wouldve put rock climbing gym because I love indoor rock climbing but.. as I understand it they have to change out the rock things #on the walls every once in a while so that you can have new routes and it doesnt get boring. and I'd rather have an activty room thats like #self sustaining and doesnt require me to hire some person to come switch things around once every month. Otherwise I would #totally do that instead.#I'm also personally not counting ''craft'' type stuff like having a pottery room kiln sort of thing because #that doesn't count as 'unnessecary' to me. since stuff like that would not at all be just a hobby I 'happen to #do sometimes for fun'#but would definitely be a career sort of thing. Like if I had the money for a fully stocked sculpture room and and a sewing room #with a good machine and etc. then I would literally be professionally selling pottery and designing clothing and etc.#so I wouldn't count it as 'just a random side room I dont need' etc.#The same way that if I played tennis professionally or as a very intense hobby that takes up most of my life/time #then I wouldn't count having a tennis court in your house to practice in as 'unncesscarry' etc.#wow that is the worst I have ever spelt that word ghbjh #Un Cess Carry #ALSO would obviously have an underground bunker of some sort with food and emergency supplies which also does not count as unnecessary to m #since it's literally like... survival.. And I thought most health organizations literally reccomend that even #the common person has a small 'go bag' prepared in their house. and like an evacuation plan in case of fire or other things #It WOULD be an unnecessary rich person thing to have a full on undergRound village or something stocked with 9000 guns and #whaetever. but I think just a basic emergency room with basic supplies could still be counted under the 'not unnecessary' requirement.#Like I would say that a sprawling courtyard of flower gardens and fountains and hedge mazes that takes up like a hundred thousand #dollars a year in maintenance would count as one of the three 'unnecessary and expensive' things. But having a small garden in the #back yard with a few planters in a little greenhouse or whatever would not. The 'excessiveness' of the thing matters lol #ANYWAY!!!#Just curious what other peoples Three Main things would be... hrrmm
