I want - no, DARE one of you to look me in the eyes and tell me mental illness doesn't run in families.

#my uncle is so damn depressed he keeps trying to die.#my bio dad beat the fuck out of my mom (trauma erased that from my memory) and HE'S fucked up #my adopted dad (bio dad's cousin) has severe anxiety (from mostly being blamed for his mom getting shot)#my mom has some kind of fucked up (she is unrelated to my dad but still)#my brother was fucked up... like #tell me #tell me it isn't hereditary #everyone has some kind of addiction (except me and my mom)#yeah so.... it turns out that not only was I almost kidnapped. but the man who tried to take me beat my mom... often #like... My grandaddy (rest his soul) was about to shoot a mother fucker -if he had a gun on him #shit #my bio dad's BROTHER wanted to kill him because Bio Dad was beating on my mom BEFORE i was born #how do I know I'm not a rape baby??? now that I think about it... bc rape is an extension of violence #and my half siblings wanna know why I want nothing to do with them?#everytime one tries to talk to me she always starts about bio dad. i do not want to know him #im especially not too keen on talking to people who drag my mom (based on lies but still)#*I* was the one who cut contact. NOT Mom!#they were allowed SUPERVISED visitation bc my mom didn't want me to actually get kidnapped #bc legally... it wouldn't really be kidnapping #but #what makes ME so special?#why was *I* the one who ended Christmas at Papaw's?#why was *I* the one that started the fights? #fanart #drawing #gravity falls #stanford pines #stanley pines #i wish more people talked about Ford's piano skills #and his shadow puppet skills #i forgot what i was thinking when i rushed these out #something about Ford only taking pride in his skills because of how other people (ie Stanley) appreciate them #and how he attributes everything exceptional about himself to his hands bc that's where his deepest insecurities/motivations come from #but that isn't something Stan or most people think about at all #but he also IS really talented #and so he gets this big fragile ego #stemming from his mother and brother's praise #but also filbrick's neglect #so it's like outside validation is a substitute/reminder of the people that really loved him #bht also he thinks he's different from them and better than them #but he does love them #and he likes making them proud because he likes seeing them happy #maybe he doesn't know how else to make people happy #something something #Stan being his biggest supporter is a double edged sword #because his opinion matters the most and then he's gone #and Ford doesnt have anyone to show off to anymore #OR anyone who can call him a showoff when he gets too into his own head #OR the person he was pitted against in the first place that made him feel special #because- knowingly or not- they always compared themselves #idk man #Ford is an interesting guy and his head fascinates me

Well normally i would rush to find a little xisuma to share from part 3 (which is almost done btw >:3), but I remembered that little doodle of cleo hugging x and whipped this up because they are so special to me and I think xisuma should get 100000 comforting hugs
