jade my love 🥰🩷 sorry for answering this ask a little late fjdkfkfk i wanted to save it for kavehs birthday since it was only a few days away hehe & ahhhh thank you for asking! im always so excited to talk about him

kaveh tried so very hard to keep his proposal plans a secret from me & even though i caught him acting weird & flustered a few times while he was trying to plan it out, when it happened it was a total surprise! i didn’t think anything was up or weird when i found myself walking out of the city next to alhaitham like any casual night & he didn’t give anything way even when he stopped dead in his tracks & it took me a few steps to realize it but when i looked back at him, the lantern lit path right next to him i hadn’t seen before had my full attention & my heart racing, like it knew who was waiting for me at the other end. it was a dumb question but all i could get out was ‘wheres kaveh?’ & alhaitham just smirked & said he’d see me later (aka went to go watch kaveh purpose with our other friends lol)

so i walked between the little lanterns that created a path in the grass & the flower petals that joined them the more i walked & just up the hill underneath a tree was kaveh. he’d created a beautiful arch that looked like the tree itself had grown its branches back into the ground & sprouted flowers. dangling down from every branch like they were floating, a rain of pink & red, were so many roses & scattered making them were more lanterns that lit the world around him in a golden glow. he was adjusting one of the flowers when i got to the end of the path & our eyes met. i was already tearing up & when he looked at me, like a wave of relief washed over him after being almost afraid i wouldn’t show up or might say so no, he started to as well

he met me half way & grabbed both of my hands & led me underneath the flowers where even more petals lay in the ground underneath us. he told me something he never had before, that he used to come to this spot after we’d first met when things got hard, when he got into debt, & imagined running down the dirt road we could see from atop the hill all the way to liyue where he’d find me somehow, someway & pull me into his arms, kiss me for the first time, tell me he loves me because he’s know he has since the moment we met. that once he’d regretted not doing so when it could have brought us back together that much sooner but it’s okay because now he’s here with me, with nothing but our future together ahead of us, for as long as i’ll have him & his heart is racing & echoing please have me always as he gets down on one knee & opens a small box with a gorgeous ring & asks me to marry him. of course i burst into tears says yes & throw myself into his arms before he can even out the ring on me. over our giggles & kisses we hear ours friends cheer from somewhere in the near distance & still holding onto me he slips the ring on my finger & we share a few of the most lovely tears together
