it was barely past midnight when you and sarah had arrived to you and jjs shared apartment in la since the two of you were staying to record more music and for your hellraiser premiere in a few days. plopping onto the couch with tired sighs, the two of you received a raised eyebrow from jj, who stood at the kitchen counter, sweats hung low on his torso as he prepared himself a midnight snack. "tired?" the man teased with a small laugh.

you gave him a pointed glare, standing from your spot on the couch and walking over to the fridge next to him, grabbing two water bottles and handing one to sarah who had walked over, stood on the other side of the counter. "so you two.." she trailed off, moving her fingers in between the two of you ass jj snatched your water bottle from your hands, taking a sip before handing it back to you. jj raised an eyebrow, "friends," he clarified. sarah nodded, not entirely convinced, "right, right."

"so you two never.. like, nothin'?" jj gave her a pointed look, laughing quietly at the glare you gave her, "you ask too many questions. but, we did, some point in high school. but it didnt work out so were just friends," jj turned away to put the butter knife he was holding in the sink, completely missing the raised eyebrows sarah gave you, to which you rolled your eyes.

he turned back and grabbed his plate of everything bagels, which were lightly smothered with cream cheese. "early day in the studio tomorrow, for the love of everything, get some sleep." he spoke outloud, but directed his words to you. he walked behind you, ruffling your hair and placing a kiss on the top of your head. "night!" you called as he shut his bedroom door. after a couple quiet moments, sarah spoke up, "dated, huh?" she tilted her head towards jjs door, taking a sip of her water.

"whatever," you laughed with a roll of your eyes, "we did. he was a good boyfriend, but there was more of like a sibling bond between us. he has two brothers and i only had an older brother so," you shrugged, taking your water bottle back over to the couch. sarah followed after you with a soft smile, "makes sense." the two of you continued talking for what seemed like forever.

once you realized it was almost one in the morning, you and sarah both decided it was a good time to wrap up the night, saying your goodbyes. "text me when youre home safe," you said as you stood by the door. "love you!" the both of you repeated back to each other.

you shut the door with a small smile, stretching your body. you reached down to grab a room temperature water bottle from its pack, jerking up when jjs bedroom door opened. "still awake?" he asked as he moved around you to place his late in the sink. "so are you," you pointed out to which he rolled his eyes, "well, yeah but i wake up on time." jj retorted.

you rolled your eyes, "yeah, yeah. im gonna go sleep, for real this time. goodnight," you saluted him. he reciprocated the action, flipping you off after a few seconds holding holding the position. "i was trying to be nice," you rolled your eyes as he laughed, placing another kiss on your forehead.

"goodnight," he let out with a chuckle, "for real this time." you nodded, offering him a soft smile as she walked to her room on the other side of the apartment. "goodnight. wake me up if i dont wake up on time please," you turned at the threshold of your door with a small smile. jj laughed, "i will, just go to bed," he turned away to walk to his bedroom, shutting the door behind him as you did the same.

samyhughes tonight i said goodbye to this amazing team. i couldn’t be more grateful for such an amazing 3 years with these girls and this community. the university of michigan has always been my home since i walked onto the campus when i was 12 years old. i fell in love with the culture and the sense of home i felt anytime i was there.

i wanna say thank you to coach klein for taking a chance on me and seeing the potential i had to be something big. you never saw me as just a freshman, but instead as a girl who you trusted to completely rewrite what it means to be a umich women’s soccer player. i carried this season’s captaincy on my heart & my co captains always believed in me.

i saw the rumor going around about the possibility of jimin releasing a song in november/december of this year and that made me realize something, i don't know if the rumor about him releasing a song is real or not, that's not the point of this post. the thing is that from the moment jimin had the opportunity to work as a soloist, he took it and didn't look back. he never stopped realeasing songs, if you really think about it when 2023 started and we knew he was going to debut the first thing we got in january 2023 was jimin collabing with taeyang, in march 2023 we got his very expected first solo album, and right after we got another collab from him in may 2023 and that same year in decemeber he released closer than this as a gift for his fans before leaving for the military. this year he released his second solo album, that he worked on in a very limited time frame, being the only one from the vocal line of bts to release two albums. mind you, he participated in everything in both albums. that man worked so hard and if you really listen to what he has to say you can see how invested he's in his career as a soloist. i say this because i've seen too many comments from jimin fans that they're scared that when bts comes back as a group jimin won't be focused on his career as a soloist, the truth is that we don't know how everything is going to work when bts comes back but jimin has never said anything that hinted that he's not serious about his career as a soloist. that man is really a musician that releases music for real, when he said in set me free 'i never stop' he really meant that. as a fan of jimin it is really exciting to see him work on his solo music and seeing him so committed to grow and release better music each time, i can't wait for the music of jimin that we will be having in the future. i know it will be great 🙂‍↕️

Fantagio ent !! i’ve been a fan of Astro since debut and i always felt like they were underrated, i really connected with the members and i wanted to come from a lowkey nugu company and (along with astro) help it become successful

sorta like the bts / bighit success story but not to that level??

yes . before we move on, i must say, i was DEVASTATED by the moonbin news and, as a shifter, it really doesn’t hit me.. i keep forgetting bcs in my head, moonbin is alive…

idk the logistics and official information of Fantagio in this reality so . i just rewrote everything — two ceo’s who are a married couple and (bear w me with how kdrama this is, i haven’t edited my script in years) but i scripted that they couldn’t have kids and therefore they see their idols as proxy children, esp bcs they’ve watched us grow from little trainees to adults

though this company isn’t free of controversy i fear :/

they got a lot of backlash in the 2020’s for debuting Clarity in 2018 when we were just children, at the time no one really cared but looking back it was a hasty decision made on the fear of potential bankruptcy. thankfully we brought said bank 😭

ever since, the company’s been very conscious of the age that they debut their idols (i only scripted that astro and woodz are under fantagio before clar, i also scripted idols that debuted after us so we’re building a little fantagio family here ahshdjsj)

i mentioned 2018 but the official date is 11th July 2018 !! and this would make us 4th gen

i’m guilty of stealing songs for our discography so our debut single was Navillera (originally by gfriend) butterflies are part of our concept, the theme of metamorphosis

idk the semantics of 4th gen in this reality, but in my dr, 4th gen is 2018 to 2023, including some 2016-17 debuts if the idols are particularly young, eg; NctDream debuted in 2016 but they’re still considered 4th gen in some conversations bcs of their age range

whenever jungeun is experiencing high anxiety, renjun knows how to help and how relieve her stress. because he's dealt with it before, he always tells her to let him know if she's having a hard time and he will be there

just like renjun helps jungeun when she's struggling, she did the same for renjun during dream()scape era when he was getting hate comments constantly, she was there to tell him nothing that the haters were saying was true.

through thick and thin these two can understand each other's feelings very well, and because of that it's also helped them whenever the full group has a serious argument, the two of them alone can help alleviate the situation.

jeno (somehow) makes jungeun more confident, she mentioned in a "7llin' in the dream" episode that jeno was the one who really got her interested in the gym and that whenever he shows his abs she suddenly feels confident too as well (unfortunately many fans have taken this out of context)

their duo name, juno, came from their names but also came from their nicknames for each other being "nono" and "juju".

if you didn't know these two, you'd probably assume they were biological siblings. and surprisingly they aren't. they have so much love and care for each other like genuine siblings.

does heran have a big part in new jeans career? i know you mentioned her writing some of new jeans songs in the book

yess she plays a huge role in new jeans' career! we're nearing that part in the book too, but producing for the group was an accidental project for her. It was thrown at her out of nowhere, because at the time she was still exploring her sound. she just hit it off so well the first time around that it was hard for new jeans' creative team to let her go hehehe

originally, she was just going to let them have the songs she already wrote and produced as demos because she obviously wasn't going to release solo music anytime soon (they were collecting dust on her pc). but then she ended up working on it as an actual member of the production crew (it worked out in the end though 🙂‍↕️)

what started as her wanting a little more exposure and experience, turned into a million-dollar/record-breaking debut and her nomination for producer of the year at the age of 18 😭😭 the perfect example of herancore⋆. 𐙚 ˚

hehe yes they absolutely are 🙂‍↕️ best dynamic of any group of people i have ever had the joy to witness. i see how it’s a bit intimidating with their five million songs—when i got into them in 2015 they had 10 years less songs and it still took me weeks to listen to everything and process what i’d heard 🥹 i started out from first album to most recent and i stand by that method bc i firmly believe that the best shinee-listening experience is going full album by full album, just because their entire concept is the fact that their entire concept changes from comeback to comeback (and if i might add in my extremely biased opinion: they do each one masterfully so a shinee album is a neat little thematically coherent delicious package). so i’ll give you a few of my fav albums and you can play a few songs and see what you like! if you come up with some songs you enjoy and wanna hear more of the vibe just lmk and i can expand on my recs.

if you prefer rnb (especially the 00s absolutely desperate ice box by omarion style which just so happens to be my personal favorite) i would go for their first album (the shinee world), with my faves being romantic, replay (ie their debut song and THE quintessential shinee song), graze, and (plug for jonghyun aka one of my fav vocalists ever) y si fuera ella (highly recommend you watch the performance! the thing about shinee is their live performances will always beat the studio versions literally every time)

another shinee classic and prob among my top 3 albums too is 1 of 1 - the concept was broadly ‘retro’ and has sounds reminiscent of mostly the 90s (with some 80s vibes definitely mixed in there if you ask me). the title track is a DELICIOUS nostalgic type (called 1 of 1) and i LOVE shift (this song is mainly why i don’t like to stick to the 90s shtick while describing 1of1 bc it is SO 80s to me—produced by LND noise!) and prism (co-produced by jonghyun and a must-listen if you ask me. again. i encourage watching a live performance bc they’re just. so. good)

also top 3 shinee albums for me and one i have a tattoo for no less so im legally obligated to mention it: Odd! it was a musical turning point for shinee and a comeback to their rnb sound (you must understand between this and their first album they’d BEEN on their eurovision grind with music such as lucifer, ring ding dong, and everybody which is absolutely still enjoyable and arguably got them the most awards/fame/recognition which is why i won’t mention those bc i assume you’ve heard them however! if you haven’t give them a listen you won’t regret it… i think!). anyway odd gave us the summer mega hit that is VIEW.. another must listen if you don’t already know her. and ODD EYE written and produced by jonghyun (are we sensing a pattern here?) which truly.. live performance.. please.. (pattern sensors? anyone?). PLUS i have to mention the repackage that features married to the music as one of their most fun concepts (halloween in the middle of the summer! only shinee 🙂‍↕️)

fun fact about me is that i’m mixed 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️ it’s such a strange mix though i haven’t met any hispasians, so on my moms side im mexican and on my birth fathers side hes a mixed person, he’s korean and mexican (ik strange mix) and so im like idek 1/4 korean it’s insane. my grandma is korean so if you wanna make that family tree go for it, sadly, i don’t speak korean since my birth fathers family is very estranged, but i do speak spanish and english obviously.

my favorite food is italian though, a good fettuccine alfredo is mwah! favorite hispanic food though is tacos, i’m so biased so al pastor tacos (sorry to the birria ppl) my favorite korean food though is korean glass noodles omg it’s too good, ik it’s technically a side dish but give me 14 of em rn!

i’ve been writing since i was like 11/12 ish, i got bored one day and wrote an outline for a story and i couldn’t stop and now i write fanfictions so who would have thunk. i play 2 instruments, my primary instrument is the violin, been playing for about 8 years, about to be 9 this fall and then i play guitar, been playing for about 10 years on and off.
