Boothill observations and theorys(?):
⚠️‼️Cw// leaks + possible 2.1 spoilers‼️⚠️
Hello tumblr I thought I’d share some observations I’ve made about boothill, an upcoming 5 star character. Particularly his name and how it relates to his cowboy aesthetic as well as his possible backstory. I also want to theorize his situation with Acheron as well. Well I’m not exactly an expert on theory’s so I doubt mine counts but I’ll share what interests me on boothill!
Boot Hill, Name origin:
First off, what is a “boothill”?
“Boothill” or “Boot Hill” are a type of cemetery most commonly referred to in western parts of the United States and America. What makes this cemetery unique is its association with cowboys, specifically ones that died in violent non natural fashion like shooting or hanging, “died with their boots on”.
How does this relate to Honkai star rail boothill.
- boothill is based of the typical western American cowboy , with the outfit, his accent , usage of guns, etc. so we have that connection .
- The HSR wiki says that he’s specifically a cyberborg. Cyborgs are typically depicted as robot human hybrid characters. Some cyborg characters like robocop and cyborg (dc comics) have backstories of becoming a cyborg by having had either died and came back to life through technology or damaged their human body greatly to the point they replace with artificial robot tech.
- Boothill in leaked eilodons shows his naked body. However you can quickly noticed his body is human. Not robotic like what we’ve been officially shown.
- Contrast this with his lightcone art, boothill has only part of his robot body. It looks like he’s being operated on.
- So how does this his name relate to his possible backstory
- As previously iterated, boothill is a name for cemetery of cowboys that died in violent ways. Pair this with how the leaked content having a human body which insinuates that he was at some point a human.
- So what I theorize: Most likely case is that boothill died/ got heavily injured, most likely due to a fight, so much that his only chance to survive was to make him a cyborg. The name boothill fits because he probably died in his boots (I’ll assume for now it happened on the job, maybe his job was the same before and after?).
- Interestingly There’s a leaked description of his lightcones. I’m not 100% sure about how true it is so I’ll have to take it with a grain of salt. However it details on him coming back to life after almost embracing death.
- - If boothill died, who killed him?
There isnt much to hint at who is to blame for cause of him becoming cyborg so far, given he’s a new character with little information.
At this moment, my best guess is the ipc which characters including topaz and aventurine are in. Boothill is revealed to not like the IPC as revealed in his introduction post. However there’s an interesting thing we need to observe.
- Notice how it states “the target of his revenge”, meaning the ipc most likely wronged him in some. I wonder if the ipc is the ones responsible for his death and transformation to being a cyberborg. But it’s likely it could be another reason for his distaste.
About Acheron
Cw/ this part gets into partial spoilers for 2.1 trailblazer main story quest
black swan receives a call from boothill. The call is immediately clear he is threatening Acheron with death.
- his tension with her seems very extreme to the point where hell even go after people affiliated with her when he threatened black swan under the impression she’s was working with her. And saying she shouldn’t exist.
do I think she was behind his death?
Unlike with the ipc one, I’m not really sure. I personally think that this possibility has less weight to it and there might be another reason for his dislike towards her. But it wouldn’t be surprising considering aventurine claims she brings death and finality.
- like aventurine, Boothill knows that Acheron isn’t an actual galaxy ranger however boothill himself is a galaxy ranger. Since Acheron is falsely claiming she’s a galaxy ranger, could this possibly cause tension with the actual galaxy rangers and her to be a target for them? I don’t really have much to theorize much more but would like to hear what others think

Neteyam x Vitiligo Metkayina! Reader
Part 1
Authors note: my second post!! Hopefully this doesn’t disappoint! Enjoy!
Pronouns: She/Her
Y/n pov
I was on my way to hunt some fish to eat for dinner when I heard someone blowing the horn for some odd reason. I got up from where I was and then I see people rushing to see what had arrived at our shores. I stop what I’m doing and go see what the commotion is all about. Once I got there I see my parents, Ronal & Tonowari, and my siblings Tsireya & Ao’nung. I had skipped my way over to where all the people from my clan were, swinging my tail a bit side to side, only to see some new comers. They looked like they were from the Omatikaya clan from the forest.
My siblings were beside my parents by the time I arrived. I skimmed my gaze over the new comers only to see what looks like to be their eldest son looking my way. I look at him a bit confused, mostly because he was just..staring at me. Either way I at least tried to give him a small smile. I don’t really like new comers, or anything new that comes to our clan. My attitude is similar to my mothers so at first I don’t really like them, but I at least have some heart to be nice..unlike her.
She had been looking over these new people with a judging look on her face. Even though I wasn’t the one she was looking at, it made me nervous. Her whole gaze, just makes me nervous. My mother, and the boys mother started growling at each other when my mom got to close to what seems like the other woman’s mate I assume. Toruk Maktou has apologized for the woman’s behavior, blaming it on the flight on the way here.
After a while of talking, my father declared that me and my siblings will help the new family learn our ways. I was not really happy about it because I have better things to do, I am the second eldest child in our family. I am training under my mother to become the next Tsahík. “Father, you do know I have other things to do, correct?” I said with a scowl on my face. Me and my father have butt heads a lot ever since I’ve gotten older. “It had already been decided.” He said sternly.
I scoffed and rolled my eyes at him. I told my sister Tsireya to hurry up so we can get this over with. We showed the family to their Marui & I felt the older brothers gaze on me again. I don’t know what exactly he’s looking at me for though. Maybe it’s because my skin is sort of different? I don’t know. But I try to ignore it the best I could until the day was over. After a while their parents went with mine to go learn elsewhere, while me & my sister teach their children.
———————————————————-
After their lesson I tried to leave as fast as I could. I honestly like to keep to myself, it just feels better that way to be alone. When I was on the shore I felt someone tap my shoulder for a moment. I turn around & guess who it was. Yup, the older brother who I still don’t know the name of. “ Yes? Do you need something before I leave?” I asked, being as polite as I could. “Yes actually.” He said, I raised and eyebrow for him to continue. “Could you tell me your name? I’d at least like to know the name of the person I’m learning from.” He asked. I sighed and told him what he asked for. “ My name is ____” I said back to him.
“I was wondering if you would like to be friends? The other people I’ve met here are being… should I say, rude?” I hum in acknowledgement and nod my head. “Yes, that’ll be fine, I guess. I really must get going though. My mother would be furious if I’m late.” I said in a hurry. “Oh, we’ll I’ll see you around then?” He asked curiously. “ Yes, you will. Goodbye!” I tried to put a smile on my face that looked at least a bit real. “Bye!” He said back.
———————————————————
It’s been a few weeks since the Sully’s have showed up on our island. Me and Neteyam have been getting to know each other better, and it’s been working. I’ve been opening up to him about this recently, like how I’ve been so stressed to keep up with my mothers expectations. He relates to my struggles too, which makes me feel better to say the least.
Neteyam has been getting better at his lessons too. I’ve taught him very well since he’s learned in such fast time. I’ve taught him every ting I know from riding an ilu, to hunting. I don’t really know what else to do when we “hang out” anymore…if you can even call it that. He says the we “ should hang out outside of the lessons” since their is nothing else that I can teach him.
Neteyam’s pov
Recently, I’ve been hanging out with ____ a lot. I’ve been making excuses to hangout with them or even just for the simplest things. Lo’ak is thinking that I like her, and I’m starting to see it. ____ is very mysterious, and interesting. She doesn’t really like to be out much with other people, and she has this fierce type attitude. Sort of similar to her mothers, just more..dialed back.
Today I made ____ a gift. It’s a bracelet from the shells from the shore that tuk and I found a few days ago. “Who is that for?” Lo’ak asked. “It’s none of your business, Lo’ak” I rolled my eyes at him while walking towards the place where me and ____ are supposed to meet. “ Its fine, I have a pretty good guess on who it’s for” he said. I huffed and kept waking. “Look big bro, someone’s gonna snatch ____ up and take her one day . Might as well and confess soon.” He said. “And why do you say that?” I asked. “ One of her brothers friends mentioned that he had a crush on her yesterday. So I suggest you hurry up and do it while you have the chance.”he shrugged his shoulders and walked away. I sighed and just kept walking until I see ____.

Hello, I seem to have found myself with an issue at work. My wife’s a demon. Literally. Her family hails from a realm of chaos but we met when she moved here for work. I talk about her fairly often so I had assumed all my coworkers were aware of her genus.
However, on Friday a couple of colleagues I don’t know so well pulled me aside to “discuss how I speak about my wife”. Apparently when I’ve been referring to my wife a demon they had been assuming I’m nothing more than a wife-hating misogynist. I unfortunately understand where they’re coming from; a lot of men my age do to speak poorly of their wives, but I adore mine! She’s the best thing that ever happened to me and when I call her a demon I say it with nothing but complete respect for her genus and her culture.
When they confronted me I panicked. All I could do was mutter some vague promise about doing better, then I scrambled to my car before they could say another word.
Since then I haven’t stopped thinking about what happened. Do people think I’ve been complaining about my wife for the last 20 years and have always been afraid to speak up? Or worse, do some of my acquaintances even support with that kind of behaviour?
In addition, should I speak to my colleagues about their assumptions about my wife’s genus? I’m rather uncomfortable that they heard “demon” and assumed I meant it both metaphorically and in a derogative manner. They’re generally nice people who were trying to call out what they perceived to be poor behaviour on my part. I don’t want to put them off intervening in future, but that doesn’t change their mistake now. I just don’t know what to do.
[Inspired by this post https://www.tumblr.com/acecorvid/744120113970790400]
Oh dear, reader. It sounds like you and your colleagues have got yourselves into a bit of an unnecessary muddle here. Fortunately, it's nothing a little clear communication can't help.
First of all, I absolutely agree that there is something problematic in their quickness to hear negativity and criticism in terminology relating to infernal species.
Based on the way you've spoken about your relationship here, it seems unlikely that you've been using this language while also speaking about your wife in a derogatory, dismissive way.
By failing to see these context clues and simply assuming you couldn't possibly be talking about an actual demon, your colleagues have shown their own sapio-centric bias.
At the same time, though, it's a good sign that they're willing to speak up against casual misogyny – even if their enthusiasm is, in this particular case, misplaced. You can use this good intention as a way to navigate the conversation itself.
Instead of telling them all the ways they're wrong, start off by acknowledging their efforts to push back against the patriarchy. Use this as a way to segue into the actual issue, letting them know that their willingness to speak up to you makes you feel able to correct their own misapprehension.
You don't need to belabour the point. However, I do think it's worth explicitly noting that it was a particularly unfortunate mistake to make, given how it feeds into sapio-centric culture in general and anti-infernal prejudice specifically.
Of course, this doesn't address your concerns about how you've been perceived by your friends and coworkers prior to this incident. Unfortunately, there's nothing to be done about people's past misapprehensions. At the same time, I wonder how realistic your concerns are.
You've known some of these people for 20 years. You speak about your wife often, and are supportive and enthusiastic about her culture. Presumably at some point you've mentioned engaging with her cultural practices, celebrating certain holidays and rituals, visiting family on other planes, and so on.
If anyone who's known you as long as all that still hasn't picked up on this, that's really on them.
As for worrying that you may have acquaintances who think you agree with their misogynistic views, the answer there is simple: do your actions otherwise indicate that you might be a person who would support such ideas?
If someone says or does something misogynistic in your presence, do you have the integrity to speak up about it? Are you involved in supporting equality and diversity in your workplace? Are you someone your friends and acquaintances could come to for support in the face of discrimination?
Most importantly, as the example with your colleagues demonstrates, are you a person who can hear criticism and make an effort to unlearn your own prejudices and preconceptions?
If you can answer yes to those questions, you have nothing to fear. You are already doing what you can do push back against structures of inequality and prejudice, and are in little danger of being mistaken for a bigot. And if not, you have some next steps to take on that journey.

30 years old and constantly reposting other people's shit? go get a job
y’know, i think the thing that throws me off about anons like this is that they’re on anon. Because it puts the person in a position where if they want to respond, they have to put an insult to themselves on their blog.
i don’t know where i’ve ever claimed ownership of any of the frimages or gifs that i didn’t take or make, and of the gifs i do make i don’t even watermark half the time bc one, i forget to, and two, i honestly don’t give a shit about someone crediting me for them.
if i know who took a frimage and it’s not already watermarked then i absolutely will credit, and if i need to crop a frimage but it takes out the credit then guess what? i don’t crop it. same idea for gifs. thankfully most people do remember to watermark their gifs unlike me, and thus have their credit on the gif.
there was an instance where i posted a gif set and hadn’t credited bc i didn’t know who created them and the creator saw and rb’d the post about it and i edited the post with credit and a link to their post and encouraged people to go give notes to that post instead. then earlier it looks like someone linked credit to another gif i posted that i now see is a full gif set. of gifs that have been watermarked by the creator. a watermark that gives them credit. because they have essentially signed it.
i have absolutely no problem making a disclaimer tag for all the content that isn’t mine. i guess i shouldn’t have assumed that people were smart enough to realize/understand that the photos and gifs that i post on a frank iero fan blog aren’t taken or made by me for christ sake.
not only that, but i kind of hoped that if someone had an issue with something i do that even if they went on anon that they’d be at least respectful enough to do so without throwing insults. i’m a person who is always willing to make corrections to my actions and posts. last night someone let me know about a post that bothered them and they were on anon. they were so fucking respectful and yk what? we came to a resolution.
alternately, if someone wants to insult me i’d very much rather they have the courage and self respect to do it off anon or in my dms. because the funny thing about me? i don’t throw insults back. not even in real life. i don’t see the point in it.
finally, to address your insult? i do have a job, technically two. and i like them. there’s this fancy thing called a queue that i use during my working hours. but also, to throw an insult like that? “go get a job”? for myself that’s not hurtful, but there are people who don’t have a job and who are desperately and actively trying and can’t get one or are physically/mentally unable to hold a job. so for them, if they were to get an insult like this, which i know for a fact they do on the fucking daily, is incredibly hurtful and is something that has potential to push them over the edge.
so how about we try this again and you send me a respectful ask on or off anon or a dm about what you specifically take issue with and we can actually discuss it and see if there’s a solution to come to.~🎃
#i really don’t understand the lack of respect here.#i’m not an asshole so why come to my inbox being an asshole#but whatever#frnkiebby#anon

Hi Alcibiade! 💖 Thank you so much for your kind reply about the Touhou and Danganronpa crossover! I wasn't sure if I should reblog it again, but it got too long, so I'd like to post the answer to it as a new ask.
First of all, I really like the details of the Reimu you finished! You mentioned my draft looks clean, but I’d like to make some overall adjustments when I have more time, as I’d love to match the art style a bit more with yours.
Also, I'm glad you liked Ran's comments! (ㅅ´ ˘ `)♡ Unlike Mamizou and Aya, Ran wasn't a character I originally intended to feature in the story. After seeing your Reimu, I got the idea to make it a Chinchirorin game scene, and then added the idea that it would be fun to have Ran talk about probability. The reason I chose Ran is because she does calculations for various things and is great at math. While the probabilities indicate that getting Pinzoro is extremely rare, I intentionally had her insist that it wasn’t that rare, because I thought that kind of bold attitude felt very fitting for Touhou girls.
By the way, I love how the characters in Touhou come up with strange calculations for some reason.😄 For example, Alice says, “Your power is only twenty-eight-point-five-seven-one-four percent as powerful as mine.” when she meets Reimu in TH7, and even Eirin, who is supposed to be incredibly smart, says, “All the scarlet history that you've built up---Divided by my history, the result is zero.” when she meets Remilia in TH8. I find it hilarious how Touhou girls use mysterious methods of calculation and then confidently declare, “I’m stronger than you.” lol So I am glad I was able to come up with the idea of having Ran explain probability. (It is really thanks to you!)
---
it could be funny to find a way to bring bad luck to Nagito after this victory!
OMG, this is a great idea! 🤩 I see no reason not to draw this scene. In my mind, I imagine more characters will be at this banquet than what I’ve drawn so far, especially the Three Fairies (Sunny Milk, Luna Child, and Star Sapphire), who I assume will definitely be there. So, I came up with two ideas:
In the official manga, the Three Fairies have pranked Reimu several times by planting bombs at the Hakurei Shrine (most of those cruel pranks are done by Star Sapphire 😅). So this time, they plant a bomb at the banquet, and Nagito accidentally detonates it or gets caught in the explosion.
Marisa plans to set off a big firework at the end of the banquet, and the firepower is so strong that it goes off, and both Nagito and Hajime get caught in it. Actually, an item called “Four-Foot Magic Bomb” appears in TH14.3. It’s depicted with a big white ribbon and a star, also the name “Magic Bomb” suggests that Marisa probably made it. It looks like a firework in both its icon and appearance in the game, so I suspect it’s a firework with too much firepower made by Marisa.
I think getting caught in a firework might be cuter than a normal bomb, so it might be better. Anyway, if bad luck happens, I hope something explodes. Why? Because it’s Nagito. lol (Well, he’s more like the person who causes explosions anyway).
It’s probably too early to talk about another story before we’ve finished anything completely, but since you said the draft I sent you was already clean enough, I’d like to keep it roughly as it is and just make a few adjustments, add details, and color it. After that, we can work on something similar. (I imagine we could send what we come up with, even in parts, and create a few short comics.)
Of course, there’s no deadline, and as you know, I have many parallel projects in progress, so it’s totally fine if it takes you a while to reply—or if you don’t reply at all! (Even if you did not respond to this request at the time, I will post it with a mention of you when I finish the comic 😃).
Thank you for everything! Have a wonderful day!🫶💕
Hi Asaka!
If you want to, I can also redraw my Reimu to match your panels more ^-^ And I agree that Ran's bold attitude is very fitting! I love those comments 🥰I don't know those characters as well as you do, but when you explain it, I'm always impressed to see that what you do is always really on-point. But I think that my favorite strange calculation is Eirin's. What does that even mean? 😭 The attitude of touhou girls is something that I love about these games. I have a lot of fun when I play them, and I like to see the characters having fun too >v<
I'm glad to see that you liked my idea! I love both of the ideas you wrote, and I totally believe that something should explode because of Nagito 😅😂 but when I saw your ideas something came up to my mind: why can't we mix the two of them?
I know that it can appear as a weird idea, and we can only keep the firework one if you want, but I imagined that Nagito and Hajime would discover the evil plan of the three fairies who planted a bomb at the banquet. Together, they would try to stop it and get in a fight with the fairies. And in secret, Marisa planned to set off her big firework to surprise everybody, but during their fight, Nagito and the fairies activate it and they all get caught in an explosion while still trying to prevent another one 😭 I made a draft about it for you to see what I imagined, but I can still redraw it, change the ratio of the picture or anything if needed!
And of course, if you want me to do anything for the other comic, please don't hesitate to ask me about it! I really love what you came up with, though!! 🥰🌟Thank you for these super cool ideas for Nagito's bad luck, it's always really fun to share things like that with you, what you think of is always wonderful! I'm sorry that I took so much time to respond though, I was completely into my own manga, and I couldn't get to work on anything else 😭💕but I'm glad to be able to work on other stuff now, because I loved reading your ask when I received it! 💕🥰
Thank you very much for all this, and have a wonderful day 💕🫶
#ask#my art#but not entirely#touhou#danganronpa#alcibiade touhou#alcibiade danganronpa#I wanted the explosion to look like one of Marisa's spell cards >v<#thank you so much for your super cool asks!!!!!!

Responding to this
Well, I have no idea how unpopular these are, but here are mine.
To state it up front, none of these things I’m going to mention are bad or flaws; they’re just things that bother me personally. If you’re not mature enough to understand that, please move along.
Notes:
*Twst Spoilers for multiple entries in the series
*Some Twst Critical
*Grammarly’s being a dick so I’m trying a new grammar helper. Proceed with caution.
Trigger warning:
*Mentions human trafficking.
Okay, so let’s just randomly jump into it.
*I think Chapter 2 is the worst chapter so far.
I think it's one of the dullest, and, if I understand it correctly, Leona’s plan doesn’t make sense.
The plan was to stampede Malleus to injure him, right?
1: Would that actually work against someone who can a) fly, b) teleport, or c) has super strength and therefore could just knock down anyone that rammed him? And more.
Also, if on the SLIM chance he was injured, the whole game would be canceled due to an international incident as the Prince of Briar Valley was flattened like a Looney Tune character.
And let's assume the plan was to take out the other Dia-players. Malleus is so OP that he can just grab random members from his dorm and win the game himself, so that plan fails.
And didn’t Leona want to win again, Malleus? That’s why he refused to let Crowley remove him from the game! Why try to remove him himself?
If Leona’s thing was that he wanted to win against Malleus, have it that he was going to cheat, but Heartslabyul stopped him with Jack’s help. Or have it that Leona was subtly poisoning Malleus or that he was using potions to amp up his team. Something along those lines! And speaking of Riddle vs. Leona:
*I don’t think it should have been Heartslabyul against Savanaclaw. I see what they were trying to do; it’s law against the lawless with the “law” hunting down the "criminals,” but it wasn’t done very well, and we never see the ideals go toe-to-toe. Having Scarbia in the Pomeire chapter was also a waste, as Jamil and Kalim don’t really do anything. You could replace them with other characters, and the story would mostly be the same. I’d rather see Riddle vs. Azul and Savanaclaw vs. Vil. (I have another post where I’ll talk more about it.)
*Octaville should have suffered just a bit more at the end of their arc. I like these boys; they’re in my top ten, in fact, but that doesn’t mean I don’t think they got off too easily. Keep in mind that they manipulated and enslaved students and physically abused their dorm mates.
Yet despite everything, they barely got a slap on the wrist, only losing the contracts and Ramshackle before they were completely forgiven for everything. Even something like community work around the school would have sufficed. But I guess you can say that’s in line with the tone of the story, and I can live with it as everyone was able to walk it off in the end. And at least Azul did lose something he valued as a sort of compensation for everything, unlike Fellow and Gidel.
Yeah, while we’re on the subject, Fellow and Gidel deserved a hell of a lot worse. Again, I like them as characters and enjoy them as being an actual threat to the main characters. But they were kidnappers and HUMAN TRAFFICKERS. Believe it or not, with characters, I let a lot slide, but letting human traffickers get off without any karmic punishment will always bother me. Ace and the others should have kicked their asses. “Even Gidel? But he’s just a mute child!” True, but he’s still a human trafficker and therefore should have received punishment. I sympathize with their circumstances, but human trafficking is still human trafficking. And before anyone says, “Well, that’s keeping in tone with the story,” no, it’s not.
For this event, the stakes and tone were raised. How? Simple; there were lasting effects from their actions.
With every other antagonist—even Rollo and Azul—once they were defeated, everything was “okay.” People were sore but could go on with their lives, no problem. Not in this case. In this instance, all the people who were tricked and kidnapped are still dolls trapped in their minds. Just because we didn’t see them doesn’t mean their lives mattered less than those of the main characters.
“But it’s not in characters for the protagonist—who are twisted from villains—to care about stuff like that.” And sadly, you’re right. (Though I think Jade and Floyd would have tried to get revenge, as they’re that vindictive.) Doesn’t mean that it doesn’t rub me the wrong way. Plus, all that buildup, and we get nothing for the climax—what the hell twst?!
Story-wise, I hate Playful Land events ending for not delevering on the buildup. And I hate it personally for letting the human traffickers not face any consequences. At least, as a middle ground, I wish the story could have treated the two getting away scott-free as an unfortunate downside instead of an upbeat thing at the end.
*I don’t like Kalim x Jamil, nor am I too crazy about Yuu x Malleus.
While I want them to be friends, I really dislike the two as a couple for several reasons that I won’t bother to list here. Let’s just sum it up and say that it’s not my cup of tea.
As for Malleus and Yuu, while they have sweet moments, I don’t feel anything for them as a pair. And outside of Canon, it’s basically an Oc/X Canon, so my feelings vary depending on the different Yuus.
That being said, I understand why both of these are popular ships, as they possess a lot of tropes that fans just eat up. (And Yuu is a self-insert for people to have their own fun with Malleus.) However, those same tropes don’t appeal to me, hence why it’s on the list.
*While I think Malleus is cute, I get a bit tired seeing him everywhere. (It’s like the Frozen effect.) I also think he’s a bit overrated.
*While we’re talking about Malleus, I hate that he’s overpowered. I know that’s the point of his character, but I still dislike this trope with passion.
And I really hate that TWST seems to be presenting that the only option to defeat Malleus and save everyone in Chapter 7 is to basically beg him to snap out of it.
I believe that having a violent option available—like having the #1 mage in the world threaten to kill Malleus—would be stronger for the story.
For starters, it gives a personal stake for Silver and Sebek as they’re at risk of losing someone they love, and it makes the fact that they’ll choose the peaceful option all the more meaningful, especially in what we learn in Chapter 7, where their ancestors chose violence over peace.
Oh, and speaking of which:
*I wish they introduced more of the gray morals in Lilia’s dream instead of just ripping off Pocahontas’ plot and making the fae the woobie race. The reason is that in vignettes, Lilia’s usually talking about how it was misunderstandings on both sides that caused war, which is why he worked so hard to instill understanding in Malleus and Silver and tries to do the same with Sebek. By playing the humans are bastards trope, it underplays what he was saying. (And yes, I get they were taking influence from the live-action Maleficent movie, but still.) It would have added so much more value to everything if the fae were just as bad as the humans or if there was a genuine misunderstanding on both sides. And, again, it would make the ending, where they stop Malleus through peaceful methods, all the stronger.
And now on to the little stuff:
*I think the rating should be higher. I feel that if the story was rated teen at least instead of 10+, we might have gotten a bit more meat in the story, which is what most people want when they hear that a story is about characters inspired by villains.
*The shaft/shift land outfits are ugly outside of Vil’s. The hairstyles are pretty, but the rest
*I’m a bit disappointed with Silver’s Masqurade outfit. I like the mask, hair, and cape, but the rest does nothing for me.
*I like the idea that Lilia had an unrequited puppy love for Malenore that he grew out of and became the more powerful familial love over the idea of him being a poly with her and Leven.
*I hate the idea of Crowley being Leven. Crowley’s great being Crowley; he doesn’t need to be Malleus’ daddy.
*I like that Silver and the KotD are almost exact lookalikes. The only thing I’d like to change is the color palette.
And that’s it for now. We’ll see how long I survive the twst fandom after I post this. If anyone else has unpopular twst thoughts, feel free to share!

Several Sentence Sunday
In honor of @dreamtigress's own SSS post, I will share mine as well! I'm working on several different WIP's and they're all different genres so I figured I'd do a couple sentences from each to show the variety in what's to come!
(excerpt from the Spirit of Grief)
“We’re ready,” Matthias said, his voice hoarse. He squeezed Kaz’s shoulder to get his attention, “We’re going to start now, okay demjin?”
“Do your wors’,” Kaz’s lips wobbled but they found their way to a grin eventually, “S’not like ‘m going anywhere.”
Matthias choked on his response, dropping forward to rest his forehead on his forearm unable to speak. Lying prone over Kaz like that, the two of them looked like a statue. As if they had both been cast in marble. Grief poured down Inej’s throat as she tightened her grip on Kaz’s pants. Fuck, she loved these boys. She loved this life she had, and the person she owed the most to was fighting for his own life now. He had to pull through this. His place beside her was too invaluable to lose.
“Nina’s gonna fix you right up,” Inej said, before correcting herself, “She’s guiding Jes, he’s gonna get that poison out of you.”
“I’m certainly going to try,” Jesper chimed in weakly.
They waited only long enough to confirm Kaz could hear what they had said, but they were done hesitating. They’ve wasted too much time already, it was time to act now.
(excerpt from God I Want to Feel Again)
“Kaz is a fine boss - ,” Jesper fired back quickly.
“ - That’s funny, because if I recall correctly Per Haskell was in charge of you. Does your allegiance lie elsewhere now? I’m sure he’d be delighted to hear that.” Iago lifted his paw up and sniffed it, “Not that I much care, that is. I’m sure you follow whomever you please, so long as their pockets are deep enough to keep up with your ‘extracurriculars’ right?”
“Fitting a leech like you’d assume we could be bought,” Clem growled, “But unlike all your boss’s lackeys, it takes more than just a flash of kruge to secure our follow.”
“And what about your discretion?” Iago cooed, “Because we are only here on behalf of a rumor that came directly from your mouth, after all. How much does it cost to keep you quiet, Clementine?”
Jesper flinched. The crew had already discovered this revelation, back when the Black Tips had struck as they left Ketterdam, and to be honest Wylan didn’t really blame Jesper - or Clementine, for that matter. It had been dangerous, and Inej had taken a major hit, but Wylan believed that was inevitable. There was no way they’d get to go on this heist without other players in the game taking notice. If it hadn’t been Clementine’s overeagerness, it could have been Wylan’s rambling. Or Matthias blunt honesty, or Shanti’s well-meaning fretting. Hell, Oomen himself could have stumbled on them in the street and put two and two together. No amount of discretion can prevent bad luck and simple mistakes. Jesper had a big mouth, and he could say things that left deep cuts, but Wylan would always place his bets on the sharpshooter to have his back when it mattered. Loyalty did crazy things to a guy, sometimes.
(Excerpt from ambiguous and not yet named lingerie shopping trip fic)
“Have you found what you’re looking for?” A raspy voice asked from behind her. Speak of the devil, as they say.
Nina turned, smiling brightly at her boy, “Yes, actually, I have. Be a dear and hold onto my choices for me.”
Without preamble she hefted her picks into Kaz’s arms, feeling her grin sharpen as he balked at the amount of clothing. Wordlessly, he looked at her, as if waiting for a more concise explanation. She hummed, pausing a moment to take a generous sip of her wine, before setting down her glass again.
“We’re going to be here awhile,” She patted his cheek lightly.
He furrowed his brow but did not lean away from her touch, “We have to try on everything? If one pair of smalls fit and the rest are the same size, they should all fit. If they don’t, that’s just bad tailoring.”
“You speak as if you’ve been privy to the process already,” She pouted, “What if I don’t like the color on you? Or what if it’s not the right feel? I want you both to look your best, and if we buy it we should make sure we look damn good in it, right?”
“Fair enough,” Kaz acquiesced with a shrug. He shifted the finery in his arms until they were no longer wrinkled in his hold. So far it seemed any fight he’d put up was, upon closer inspection, just his grumpy curiosity. Nina grinned. Kaz Brekker was a very good boy.

Prologue
Or some kind of introduction to all the craziness that will come in the next entries, written ex post facto
“When did you realize you were trans?”
I’ve been asked this question many times (and I’ve often wondered about it myself) and, the more I try to point the exact moment when it happened, the more nebulous it becomes. Was it when I actually told the world that I was a trans woman (i.e., the day I came out publicly)? Was it the first time I told one of my friends (at the time) or my family that I was “considering” transitioning? Was it the first time I had a dream about being myself, but with a woman’s body instead of the one I was born with?
I honestly don’t have a definite answer to that question. Or a specific one. Or even a simple one.
But I needed to start somewhere. I needed a jumping off point, a way to start writing about what was happening to me back then—and it’s still happening now. I needed to put down these thoughts and ideas or, I was afraid, I was going to lose my mind. I was in such a state of desperation, solitude, and angst that, barring letting my shit out here, I couldn’t really see a way to keep on living.
In other words, I needed you.
So, I began writing you. Or to you. I don’t know. I hadn’t kept a diary in years. Like, fifteen years or so when I started this one? I didn’t remember when it was the last time I had written a real diary. That’s how long.
But I’m getting away from my point. To start this story—my story—the story of my transition—I needed to choose a point. A starting point. An anchor to provide you and me with some perspective to everything that came before… And everything that is to come from now on, I hope.
I needed a beginning.
So I decided that, in lieu of a better alternative, I’d start with this specific point in time, this otherwise unremarkable day. It’s an arbitrary one, I admit, but it’s very significant. I think you’ll get why it is so important to me but, just to make things clear, I think the following was the first day of a life-long journey in transitioning from male to female (mtf).
This was the first time I experienced what we trans people usually refer to as gender euphoria.
If you’re not trans—I’ll assume you aren’t, just for the sake of clarity—I don’t think you’ll truly be able to understand what I’m actually referring to. It’s just like when some cisgender people (usually TERFs) tell us that we trans women can’t know what it is to be a “real” women because we’ll never know what it is to suffer from PMS, give birth to a child/get pregnant, or any other bullshit like that. And although those people are wrong—we’re very much “real” women, whatever the fuck that means—we as trans people are right when we tell cis people that their empathy has a limit.
But I’m getting off topic.
So: gender euphoria. Although I don’t think it is possible to truly explain the experience to a cis person, I’ll give it my best to try and do so anyway.
Can you recall the day you discovered your life’s calling? Maybe you haven’t yet, or maybe you can’t recall. If you can, though, are you able to remember the sensation? That kind of unexplainable happiness, the feeling that you just made what may very well be the most important discovery of your life? The simply joy of knowing that things now fit? That everything just feels right?
And if you can’t (or haven’t), can you imagine those feelings? Can you envision how you’d feel if you found the answers to most if not all of your life’s questions? Like, are you able to fantasize about finding the meaning to your existence?
That’s (may be) what gender euphoria feels like.
The first time I felt it, it was unlike anything I had felt before in my life. I was 34 years old. That day, I discovered that my whole life up until that point had been a simulacrum of sorts. Every experience I had before that day felt like something distant, something that somebody else had experienced. It felt like the life story of a good friend of mine, but not like my life.
It was heartbreaking and endlessly joyous. It was, in a word, indescribable. No words that I know can make it justice, with perhaps the exception of ecstasy. But I truly don’t feel like discussing the linguistical implications of how to name my experience.
I’m much more interested in describing it, in leaving it here as a testimony of what I went through. And, maybe, it’ll help somebody else going along their own journey.
This is just too long of an entry as it is. I know that I truly don’t have any limits in this format, but I’m tired and I think is better for me to sleep now.
In the next entry, I’ll tell you all about my moment of realization. My own personal eureka!
Until then, with love,
ZZ

Eleanor, when you posted your list of ideas, I was so excited to see that I'm not the only one who has an incredibly long list of ideas that may or may not ever see the light of day and I really wanted to share mine. I originally had no intention of posting mine, but as this is the 8th anniversary of me starting this little fantasy world and my 12th writing anniversary is coming up, I figured I might as well use this as a sort of anniversary post as well. Because I am absolutely obsessed with✨details✨ some things on this list have gone a bit overboard from their intended little snippets, but I'm not entirely sure you'd mind that lmao. Now, without further ado, here is my list!
Story Concepts:
Now, some of these have a future as I plan to write the first two if I can find the time and, possibly, some others as I love the concepts. Most of these are AUs, but there are a few sequels I really want to work on that have made the list. There is one that is just a concept and won't go any further than what I have for reasons I'll explain further and it should be very easy to tell which one.
Idea 1: Life Is Strange AU
This game has been on my radar for literal years now and I’m only just coming up with ideas for it, but since I know the series fairly well, things are piecing together fairly well. The games are, essentially, played episode by episode where each choice you make in the game, impacts the rest of the story. It’s like the butterfly effect - a butterfly flaps its wings in Hawaii and a hurricane starts halfway across the world. Every choice matters. I am only using the first and last of the main games and the prologue of the first game. In the first game, you control time as a high school student. In the prologue for that, you play as a pair of unlikely friends who discover that one of them doesn’t have as perfect of a life as the other assumed. Then, in the third, you play as a young woman who can see and manipulate emotions. Now that that’s established, I’ll give a bit of a summary of my ideas, all of which are set in modern times.
In the first story, the Murphy family moves from Myrtle Beach to Sanbornton, New Hampshire so that Royce can attend the prestigious Oakwood Academy - a private high school specializing in Arts and Science. At this school, he befriends Riven, an upperclassman in his photography class who constantly encourages him to turn in a photograph for a national competition to earn himself a scholarship to the university of his choosing. One day, after school, he meets with his brothers at the diner downtown and all but collides with a familiar face he hadn’t seen in years - his former best friend, Vivien. After a rather awkward conversation, the pair takes a picture with Royce’s camera and part ways, only to be brought back together when Royce saves Vivien from one of the rich pricks from his school who decides to bring a gun into the alleyway behind the diner. The two decide to finally talk things over at Vivien’s typical haunt and he finds out that, since Vivien’s family moved to New Hampshire so she could attend Oakwood, things have only gone downhill for her. Her father was killed in a car accident, her mother remarried to some asshole who works as a security guard at Oakwood, and to make matters worse, the person she was closest to went missing and nobody has seen or heard from her in months. Now, on top of juggling schoolwork and normal life, Royce has to worry about potential kidnappings, strange weather occurrences, and, of yeah, the fact that he can now go back in time through the Polaroid pictures he takes so often.
While there is quite a bit more to go over for that one, I think I’ll move on to the second story, where we find that Royce isn’t the only person in town with abilities. In this one, we have Miles and Carrie, an unlikely pair who know they have at least one thing in common; they both want to get the hell out of Sanbornton. Miles only knows Carrie from the posters slapped on every telephone pole, advertising the next big musical in town while Carrie knows Miles as the guy she paid to fix up her convertible’s malfunctioning roof. In the few hours they spend talking while he works on her car, the two grow inexplicably close and bond over a fondness for a certain band he plays over the shop radio. On a whim one day, Carrie shows up at Miles’ shop and they decide to skip town the next day, hitching a ride on a freight train that takes them out of town to a lookout point a while north of Sanbornton. After a while of goofing off and enjoying each other's company, they decide to make up storylines about people they see with one of the viewfinders at the top of the hill. Some fun stories are concocted before Carrie, who becomes upset with what she sees through the lens, insists that she and Miles get out of there as she wants to get drunk. They steal a bottle of wine from a couple’s picnic basket while they’re away and follow the train tracks back to Sanbornton. Along the way, Miles confronts Carrie about her change in mood. After arguing about why Miles is so interested, the quarrel comes to a head when Carrie discloses that she witnessed her boyfriend cheating on her with the girl who is supposed to be her understudy in the upcoming play. She shows him a picture of the three of them and, as her emotions get the better of her, the photograph ignites in her hand, fluttering to the ground in burning embers as they both stare in shock at what happened. They find a secluded place to talk things over and, after realizing her newfound abilities must be related to her emotions, Carrie begins worrying about how she’s supposed to act on stage if she’ll only end up setting everything around her on fire. Eventually, Miles calms her down and they decide to meet up the next day to see if they can find a way for her to control it throughout her time on stage. I haven’t totally figured out an ending to this other than Miles getting roped into being in the show to replace the guy Carrie was dating as, once she breaks up with him, he gets physical and breaks a part of the set, getting himself fired. Anyway, that’s as far as I got with the second one.
The third is, perhaps, my least thought-through, but here we go. Kona is new to town, having moved in with her dad in his apartment above his arcade after years of moving around with her mom. Unlike the other stories, Kona was born with her abilities - getting used to seeing colorful emotions around people and hearing the thoughts that come along with them at a young age, but not being able to control how she processes the emotions that hit her like a brick wall. Bentley is a regular at the arcade, using whatever allowance he gets to buy as many tokens as he can. The two bond at the prize counter, but when a particularly unruly, older kid from their school comes in and tries to rough up Bentley over his purchase of the last, limited-edition comic book at the prize counter, Kona’s emotions “snap”, sending a wave of the boy’s own anger his way and sending the older boy slamming into one of the machines. Understandably, Kona and Bentley are confused by this revelation as Bentley didn’t know Kona had abilities and Kona didn’t know she was capable of something like that. After a fairly long discussion where she shows Bentley how her abilities work, she discovers that she can piece together why someone feels the way they do - if it’s a strong enough emotion - and can help them sort through their feelings for a better outcome. They begin to work together, helping people around town with their mental and emotional struggles, but will it become too much for Kona to bear as she takes on everyone else’s problems and ignores her own? I suppose you’ll just have to find out… if I ever get around to writing this out lol
Idea 2: Titanic AU
Now, this one is definitely not surprising as I adore the RMS Titanic as much as (if not more than) Vivien and, as far as the story goes, it could go one of two ways. One is set back in April of 1912 and goes through everything almost like the movie combined with all of the historical accuracies I can add into the equation, and the other is set in modern times and will make sense when I write it out. The first version is the one-shot-turned-story I was going to write for Carrie's birthday before I realized just how long it would be and that it would, most likely, end up being more than one part (just like the ship... yeah, I'll see myself out lol).
Version 1 is easily explained as the roles of Jack and Rose are played by none other than Miles and Carrie, with a bit of a twist. After the death of her parents, Mrs. Murphy takes her three sons and, with a portion of what inheritance was left after her husband began wasting it away, books four tickets aboard the Titanic in the hopes of starting anew in America. The tickets are in third class, but they can’t bring themselves to care as they’re simply ready to start a new life. Carrie follows Rose’s story pretty closely in the beginning - a loveless engagement planned only for financial gain, overbearing parents keeping a tight reign on her, and the faint urge to throw herself overboard once the ship is far enough from land that nobody will be able to save her. Then, as she and her young maid, Vivien, are overlooking the ocean from a higher deck on the ship’s departing day, Carrie follows Vivien’s gaze to a group of three young men a deck lower than them; one of whom can’t seem to take his eyes off of her. One night, Carrie dismisses Vivien after dinner and takes off for the back of the ship to escape the overwhelming pressure that’s been piling atop her for ages now. Miles, ever the night owl, watches her from a bench, only approaching her once she steps onto the lowest rung of the ship’s railings, and, though Carrie claims she has no real desire to pitch herself from the back of the ship, he still treats her as though she might. Eventually, he offers her a drink and an unbiased opinion, and the pair talk late into the night. Miles walks her as far as he is allowed to go and the pair go their separate ways once Carrie invites Miles and his family to dinner the next night as thanks for lending an ear and talking with her, which he politely declines. Not one to be swayed, Carrie sends Vivien to the general room in third class, instructing her to find Miles and his family and bring them to her. Finding all eyes are on her upon her arrival, Vivien meekly squeaks out who she has come to see and is relieved to watch Miles step forward from a table where he and Bentley had been drawing. Despite Miles telling her to simply pass on a message of thanks, Vivien is persistent and, ultimately, Mrs. Murphy steps in, listens to what Viv has to say, and accepts the invitation. The family is given some proper attire for the night thanks to another traveling family whom Carrie’s family has close ties with - the Bandoni family - and they have dinner as upper-class citizens. Once the evening has died down, Miles invites Carrie - and, in turn, Vivien - to a party the third-class passengers are throwing in the general room. The story carries out mostly the same as the movie, but there are some, distinct differences in the end like who would survive and who would end up going down with the ship.
Version 2 is one that I had a dream about and ended up sort of intertwined with the Titanic-based Magic Tree House book that I read as a child. Basically, Vivien drags Royce to a traveling Titanic exhibit. Upon their arrival, they receive boarding passes that bear the names of the passenger they would be and are permitted to explore as they please. After a while of looking around, they stop at an exhibit of photographs taken aboard the ship. To their amazement, they find a photograph of a young newlywed couple who bear a striking resemblance to themselves, standing by the railing on the 10th of April - the day the Titanic left Southampton for the beginning of her maiden voyage. They flag down one of the managers and explain the situation before asking if they could maybe see the picture up close. The person takes them to a back room before bringing in the photograph and some gloves for them to hold it with. They set it down on the table as Royce and Vivien put their gloves on and go to turn on the air conditioning as the summer heat isn’t good for the old picture and the wind sends the picture flying. Royce and Vivien catch the picture and carefully examine it to make sure it looks alright before looking up, only to find that they’re staring at an old-timey camera perched on a stand near the railing of none other than the ship of dreams itself. That’s right, they’re now aboard the RMS Titanic as she sails her fated maiden voyage! Now they not only have to figure out how to get back home before the ship sinks, but they also have to play the role of a young, First-Class couple on their honeymoon trip to America. Can they keep up appearances and find a way home before the iceberg scrapes the ship or will they be caught in the fray of one of the world’s biggest maritime disasters? Honestly, even I don’t know the answer yet, so I suppose we’ll find out someday haha!
Idea 3: WandaVision AU
When my sister allowed me to borrow her Disney+ account a while ago, my first mission was WandaVision. Needless to say, I fell in love with the concept of a new decade every episode and felt as though it suited some of our characters in a way that needs a lot of explaining in order for any of it to make sense. I don’t know if you’ve seen this show yet, but the basic concept is that, in Avengers: Infinity War, Wanda (also known as Scarlet Witch) loses her long-term, android boyfriend, Vision, in battle. A while after the battle, she travels to a small town called Westview where the two of them planned to move, build a home together, and grow old. Consumed by grief and rage over the life she'd lost in her time as a hero, Wanda's mental state sort of breaks, and her chaos magic powers activate around her, creating a pocket reality that engulfs all of Westview. Though she didn't realize it at first, Wanda transformed Westview into a completely altered bubble that was formed by her love of sitcoms, which she'd always turned to in times of difficulty. With her chaos magic, she also created an entire alternate version of Vision completely from her memories of him, inadvertently casting him in the role of her sitcom husband. Comforted by the world she'd created, Wanda began living a sitcom life in Westview, still unaware of what she'd done, moving from decade to decade as though nothing were different.
You’ve probably pieced together who would be who here, but I have a few different versions to offer. 1 - Mick and Butchy, 2 - Royce and Vivien, 3 - Carrie and Miles, or 4 - Mrs. Murphy, Miles, Royce, and Bentley. For Mick and Butchy, think about how intense she was when he was in his accident ages ago. That rage could fuel magic any day. Carrie and Miles' story could be very similar to Butchy and Mick's as I feel like they have this connection that isn't easily explained and that their love goes a lot deeper than either of them might realize. If one of them were to die, what lengths would the other go to in order to bring them back? Royce and Vivien have a strong relationship as well despite being young and, while Royce is typically calm and collected, he worries quite a bit for Vivien’s safety as she ventures through abandoned buildings, explores places she probably shouldn’t, and gets into more trouble than he ever wants her to. If he were to lose her in some sort of freak accident, would that be enough to cause something in him to snap like that? Potentially, I think. Now, putting aside the romance and looking toward the family dynamic, we have the Murphy family. What hurts more than a mother losing her children? Imagine the normally easy-going, caring, Mrs. Murphy - the mom to everyone around her - absolutely losing her shit because all three of her sons died in the same battle. That would certainly be something emotional enough to fuel some serious chaos magic. Honestly, I just want to write more about her and I feel like a nice, sitcom-esque story would be a perfect opportunity to get a feel for her personality over the years.
Idea 4: Grease AU
While I’m sure this isn’t a total surprise as I’ve mentioned it before, I want to explain how I see it, especially after finishing Rise of the Pink Ladies and gleaning several ideas from there.
This AU is a bit different as we find Mick and Vivien as the new girls in town - sisters with opposing interests. Mick, who spends every minute at school trying to break out of the shy mold she left at her old high school, and Vivien who just wants to blend into the background and survive junior high without making waves. Things don’t go quite as planned as both girls find themselves at the epicenter of rumors not even a week into the school year. According to the gossip, Mick was seen under the bleachers with the leader of the T-Birds, and Vivien was spotted kicking a boy in the family jewels. While neither girl can deny these claims as they are technically true, the statements were twisted. Although Vivien begins to like her reputation as a fearsome fighter and leans into the rumors, adding that she only did it to protect a kid in her class and that she would be more than willing to do it again to anyone who dared pick on the people around her, Mick tries to clear her name with the help of the T-Bird she’d been spotted with, hoping others would believe that she had, in fact, been under the bleachers with a T-Bird, but that she was trying to give him something he had left at her dad’s workshop and they had a conversation, end of discussion. Despite her pleas to rid herself of her nickname as the local floozy, Mick can’t shake the rumors, but once she inadvertently helps one of the girls who had been spreading the rumors, the word on the street begins to ebb. The two girls form an odd friendship despite the helpful T-Bird and most of his friends warning her to steer clear of the blonde and her penchant for ruining reputations with her good girl act. Despite the accusations against her new friend, Mick stays by her and, at a sleepover, the cheerleader confides in Mick that she is in a secret relationship with one of the T-Birds that started over the summer. Though her friend doesn’t divulge which one, Mick soon discovers exactly who it is as Vivien and her two friends get out of school early one Friday and head to the high school parking lot to wait for their rides, only to see the head cheerleader with the T-Birds’ second-in-command locking lips by the greaser’s Fleetmaster. So, yeah, a lot of drama would come with this one.
Idea 5: Percy Jackson AU
I’ve tried writing Percy Jackson stories before and, let’s just say, it didn’t go well. You will, however, see some nods to this in upcoming chapters of Camp Wanamaker. This AU is something I’ve thought of for literal years (think 2016-17), but have no true storyline other than who would be the child of which Greek god. I can’t simply follow one of the books without dissolving into the next and, where there are so many books, I don’t think this would ever actually happen. This is something that my niece, Lorali, and nephew, Erek, actually requested at different times as their classes were reading the books in school, and I tried to figure everything out, but nothing ever came of it. Honestly, I don’t think I’ll ever work on this as it would be too much to take on. For now, though, I’ll simply give you my list of who I think belongs where and, if the time ever comes for me to write this out, we’ll go from there.
Miles, Royce, and Bentley - Sons of Apollo (most specialize in various forms of art, poetry, archery, or music, almost all of them have the ability to heal others and can tell how bad the injury is just by looking at it, a rare few can control light and fire, even rarer is the ability to glow, and some can use music to win battles like a siren calling sailors to their deaths)
Mick - Daughter of Hephaestus (skillful engineers and craftsmen, they can instinctively detect, identify, and operate any piece of machinery, and some even have control of fire, lava, and volcanoes)
Carrie, Tanner, and Juliet - Children of Aphrodite (possess intense love magic, have greater clarity and sharper focus than most, have the ability to change appearance at will, and can alter people’s thoughts/influence them by simply speaking - otherwise known as charm-speaking)
Vivien - Daughter of Athena (masters at invention, architecture, and strategy - especially in battle - their knowledge is unmatched, and some have great skills with weaponry even without prior mastery of the weapon of their choice)
Kona - Daughter of Poseidon (can create and control hurricanes, earthquakes, and water, can communicate telepathically with sea life, some are mildly able to control ice, wind, electricity, and cold, they heal quickly if they’re in any type of water, and a very rare few can manipulate blood as it contains water)
Butchy and Lela - Children of Zeus (natural leaders in every sense, are immensely brave and strong, most, if not all, can control electricity/lightning, and some can control air to be able to fly if they practice)
Xander - Son of Ares (combat specialists, masters of weapons, are typically stereotyped as being complete assholes, and can possess invincibility if they spent a lot of time in battle)
Idea 6: True Colors (Through The Valley sequel)
Now, I absolutely adored writing the first story, but ever since I was able to play the second game and watch the HBO show, I've fallen more in love with the story and its concepts. A sequel for this would be far bigger scale - throwing more characters into the fray and holding very little back as, if I learned anything from the show, it's sometimes okay to kill off favorite characters to show the gravity of their situation. Just a reminder, Riven never existed in this universe and, while I have a perfect place for him, I don't want to go into too much detail.
This sequel would have a bit of a time jump and we would see some of our favorite characters in a different light as rival groups come out of the woodwork with only one thing on their mind - revenge. While we would also see budding friendships and romance, we also see some of our favorite relationships torn apart. I do feel like this would be a good way to really throw caution to the wind and see some of our favorite people fight in ways we've never seen them. In this universe, it's not always the infected you have to worry about; other people are just as scary.
I would probably focus on the second game's plot here - a story of revenge fueled by love. We would witness our first death fairly early on as one character kills another as atonement for their previous sins. One of our favorite characters would barge in during the fight, only to be taken captive by the assailant's friends. Witnessing the death of a loved one is traumatic and, with every intention of killing the people who dared to hurt their loved one, the witness gathers themself and takes off on a hunt to get revenge on the person who wronged them. Finding themselves in an entirely new area with unknown threats around every corner, will they be able to make it out alive? Better yet, will they be able to make it out with their sanity?
Honestly, I'm not even sure. For the time being, I have a set of characters lined up and know who would be playing whom, but would have a lot further to go before I felt comfortable writing anything out. I am excited about it though and hope to someday feel ready enough to get something done for it. Until then, here is the actual trailer for the game as it holds quite a few hints at what's to come and who our set of characters could be. It is a bit gory which makes sense, given the universe we're in, but I wanted to warn you all the same. Anyway, the characters' appearances, the song choice, the subtle intensity, and the words they say to each other are very intentional and will make a bigger impact once I finally have this story ready to go. Every little detail matters. One word, in particular, may strike a certain chord in you and leave you guessing, but that's all I'll say for now.
Idea 7: In Comma Coriyama (Magicae Maxima sequel)
This was originally the name for Magicae Maxima, but, obviously, I chose differently. Now, I'm not sure if you could tell with the ending surrounding Serena, but I had every intention of making a sequel where she would continue being the possessed one like Mick had.
At first, Royce, Vivien, and Bentley would have no idea as she's always pretty bitchy at school and they're sort of busy helping at Mick's store and training their magic to see much of a difference. Having family around to help them grow as young mages is helping them become stronger and more capable of protecting themselves. In turn, Serena is growing more and more used to being possessed by the dark magic and, although she barely has control of her own body, she is still conscious and can see the effect the possession is having as it chips away at her relationships and targets the people she was closest to. When the possessed Serena, in a moment of freedom, begs Vivien for help after class, the brunette realizes something must be up and goes looking for answers.
Obviously, this isn't all I have, but I might be working on this for the spooky season, so I'm keeping things vague!
Headcanons:
I have a long list that is still looming both on my phone and in my notebooks, but it will take me time to get them all here, so for now, this is all I have lol.
This may or may not come as a little bit of a shock, but Mick and Vivien are distantly related. Mick’s family in New Hampshire is huge and, while they don’t know they’re related, they’re actually cousins. Mick’s great-aunt was married to Vivien’s great-uncle and they moved down to Texas long before the girls were even born, let alone before they met.
Growing up, Bentley was always upset with being compared to his brothers academically and, when Royce noticed this, his paintings stopped and his sketches practically disappeared. He wanted Bentley to feel special about something and, now that art is Bentley’s “thing” Royce refuses to so much as touch a crayon unless Bentley asks him to. He’d rather stick with photography.
Riven taught Vivien drums so she could join his band and she taught him Morse code so they could talk to each other in skating meetings without having to say a word.
Mick tried to lighten her hair when she was thirteen so that she could look more like her dad, but the bottle of Sun-In that she used only served to turn her orange until they could get it fixed at the salon.
Vivien got a perm once and was mad that she looked like a poodle, but then Carrie pointed out that she looked like one of the girls in an 80s movie and she was alright with it after that. When it faded, she had no intention of getting it back, but still curls her hair from time to time because she misses the bounciness of the curls.
Carrie, Mick, and Vivien have a game they play to see who can fluster their boys the fastest. Over time, Butchy became accustomed to it and flipped the situation back on Mick more often than not. Miles has his moments of clarity with Carrie and can occasionally fight fire with fire, but they’re few and far between. Royce, on the other hand, is almost always taken aback by Vivien’s advances as she switches things up on him all the time.
Kona taught herself how to swear in three different languages so that she could say things around her family without getting caught. Her languages of choice were German, Japanese, and French, which made things more than a bit awkward when she found out the Murphys could understand what she was saying.
Bentley has the weirdest tastes. He loves bananas, but hates banana bread. Can’t stand oranges or grapes, but likes them as flavors in soda or snow cones. One of the ones everyone gets a kick out of is that he doesn’t like strawberries, but enjoys strawberry ice cream.
Vivien found out she was claustrophobic while in a mirror maze at the town carnival. She was with Riven and his dad at the time and Riven practically carried her out of the maze. They both swore they would never speak of it again, but Riven still teases her about it now and then.
Kona is a completely unique form of chaos and molds perfectly with the Troublemaker Trio. While Royce is organized chaos, Vivien is adventurous chaos, and Bentley is creative chaos, Kona is a sort of unhinged chaos. This girl holds nothing back and will not hesitate to be absolutely insane. In my mind, they’re almost like the Penguins of Madagascar. Royce is Kowalski, Vivien is Skipper, Bentley is Private, and Kona is 100% Rico.
Mick and Bentley wander off a lot in crowded areas (the mall, carnivals, concerts) and have been told by some of the others that, if they keep things up, they’ll be forced to wear one of those toddler leashes. Bentley doesn't give a shit and dares them to try, so they do. It wasn't his proudest moment, but he didn't exactly care, either.
Miles doesn’t really care for cake. It’s just not his thing. He’ll eat it, sure, but he prefers ice cream or, even better, ice cream cake. The only time he willingly eats cake is when someone in the family, especially one of the kids, makes some as he doesn’t want them to feel bad about him not trying some.
Vivien has a habit of getting people addicted to things she enjoys. One time, she unintentionally got Butchy and Miles hooked on a very specific brand of energy drink that she has to order online and get shipped to her house, so every time a shipment comes in, she goes to the cabin, bursts in like the Kool-Aid man, and yells, “I’ve got the drugs!” at the top of her lungs. The same thing happened when they went to the mall and she made Carrie try a Japanese soda (Ramune) that they now have to order in bulk because everyone keeps stealing them from the fridge. The one thing Viv is adamant she’s keeping to herself is her rootbeer-flavored popsicles because they’re incredibly hard to find and the only shop that has them, orders an entire box just for her at the start of every month.
Before the swear jar mysteriously disappeared, Bentley, Royce, and Vivien would find ways to cuss around the others without getting in trouble. At the mall, they would chant out the name of a certain sporting goods store (Dick’s) or when they went for walks and passed the local dam, they constantly made dam jokes. They found ways around things and even the ones who tried to get them to stop had to give them props for creativity.
I’ve kind of had this headcanon where, when Carrie or Mick get pregnant, Miles and Butchy get bizarre cravings for them. While all the girls want is chicken alfredo or cheddar broccoli soup, their men are craving peanut butter and pickle sandwiches, bananas slathered in maple syrup, and ice cream decorated with chocolate-covered pickles. Even though Carrie and Mick think all of Miles and Butchy’s random concoctions are absolutely disgusting, the guys can’t seem to get enough. For some reason, almost all of the cravings disappear once the babies are born, but some still stick around though the girls wonder if their interest in the foods is still genuine or if they’re just doing it for fun.
I had a headcanon for a while that I never really worked with as I found it sort of pointless as time went on, but I figured I should share it now that it’s developed into something different entirely. I had this idea that, after a while of thinking things over, Miles would talk with his Uncle Tommy about potentially adopting the boys. At first, it would have been Miles adopting them and then it became Tommy taking them in, but that didn’t really work in my head, so I scrapped it for a while. Now, my working headcanon is that Miles stays in close contact with Tommy and sends him things about himself and the boys like their big achievements, their grades, and their friends. If Tommy were to visit at some point, he wouldn’t be all that surprised to meet Carrie, Mick, Vivien, Kona, or the rest of the group and would be at ease going through town as though he’d been there before. I feel like Uncle Tommy would be their way of reconnecting with their mom’s side of the family and he’d be more than willing to travel the 7½ hours-long drive to see them.
Musicals:
I had to shorten this list as I was running a bit short on time, but I'll add more later if it lets me.
Hello Dolly - I've already told you about this one, but the point still stands. I absolutely adore this musical. The thought of Miles as Cornelius and Carrie as Irene Molloy - a rich, self-made woman and a shopkeeper from a poorer background who fall in love despite everything around them - just makes me so happy.
Hadestown - I don't know if you've seen this one, but, to summarize, this is the love story of Orpheus and Eurydice - a story I absolutely adore. The story, the music, the ending, everything in this musical just screams of love and pain and there are so many ways this could go! Mostly, I could see Miles and Carrie playing a really good Orpheus and Eurydice while Butchy and Mick (or Xander and Juliet) take on Hades and Persephone, but the ideas are endless!
Chicago - This one is just for fun as I love the show, but just think of Carrie or Juliet as Roxie and Mick as Velma. The two of them vie for the top spot in the papers and fight for the publicity that their respective crimes give them, but both are unwilling to work together to gain popularity in the press. It’s just a fun little idea that I like playing with.
The Lightning Thief - This is only because I could see Bentley finding out this musical exists, listening to it all the time, and singing it as often as possible. With how much he liked the books, it feels only natural that he’d enjoy this just as much.
High School Musical on Stage! - This is simply because I feel like this would be absolutely epic. I mean, come on! How could it be any better than this? Carrie as Sharpay, Tanner as Ryan, Mick as Gabriella, Butchy as Troy, and Miles as Zeke - I could go on for ages about how insanely cool that would be! Honestly, I just love High School Musical and would love to see our characters in a show like that.
Songs:
Not all of these are on my summer writing or inspiration playlists, but the vibes are there and I want to write something for all of them at some point or another! I will be adding more later, but for today, this is all I have.
Killer Queen - Honestly, I listened to this around Halloween time last year and was soooo tempted to write a vampire-ish story with Vivien, Carrie, Kona, and Mick in this little coven of killers, but nothing ever came of it. I had a plan for it to be this sort of small-town, murder-mystery-type story with the girls working with the Murphy brothers and Butchy (the town police department’s newest officer) to solve some murders in the area, only for it to be discovered in the end that the murderers were the girls all along and they were just leaving a trail of bodies for the boys to discover, eventually leading them to their deaths. I still have a sort of plan to work on this sometime, but it's just not at the forefront just yet as I think it needs a bit more work.
Crash My Car - I stand by this song being a song Miles relates to as he falls in love with Carrie, but before they’re together. I’ve paid a lot of attention to the lyrics themselves and I feel like they sort of cover Miles’ thoughts as it shows the way he goes from feeling like he has no chance with Carrie and wanting nothing more than to disappear for even thinking he would, to wanting to make a move, but not being confident enough to, to resigning to his fate and wanting nothing more than for her to be happy, even if it breaks his heart in the process. I just feel like, despite the song being fun and energetic, the lyrics tell the story quite well.
Lizzy McAlpine: I have a few songs that come to mind for different scenarios, but not all of them make the most sense, so I’ll put the ones that sort of do.
Pancakes for Dinner - This could be for a few different couples, honestly. My first instinct is either Royce and Vivien or Mick and Butchy. It’s essentially just an admission of things stuck in the person’s head, spilling out ideas that they’ve thought of before, but been too shy to say out loud, but I just really like the idea of one of them writing it out in the early stages of their relationships or even before they get together and are just friends, wanting more and the other finding it at some point later on in the relationship and either confronting them or singing it to them.
reckless driving - This is a song for Juliet and Xander which is ironic as I hardly ever write them anymore, but I feel like this could be the tragic end to their story if she let him take her on a drive after breaking up with him. I mean, the contrast between her side of the story and his, the steadily growing intensity, and the back and forth between the two before the eventual sudden end of the song - it feels like Xander and Juliet. His obsession could get them killed if they aren’t careful and, in this song, that’s exactly what it does.
ceilings - Now, this one is something I’ve been mostly picturing for my novel version of the story, but I’ll tell you how I see it anyway. Mick and Butchy (his name is different in the novel for copyright reasons 😣) have taken an interest in each other, but Mick holds back her feelings as she knows that the world Butchy is from is nothing more than a pocket of time still stuck in what was once a 1960s sitcom. As much as she loves him, she can’t admit her feelings for him as she knows they live completely different lives. More than once during her stay in the nearby town of St. Pete Beach, he drives her home and, with each drive, she grows more and more fond of him before, eventually, he kisses her. That night, she realizes that, although she couldn’t be happier, he isn’t real. He’s nothing more than pixels on a screen and, sooner or later, she’ll have to leave with her family to return to California.
Selena Gomez: I love Selena Gomez and some of her songs just bring me through different scenarios that just appear out of thin air lol
People You Know - This is another Juliet song, but instead of entirely revolving around her relationship with Xander, it also represents her friendships with the others in The Sparx group. When she broke things off with him, they all kept their distance from her so as to not anger Xander more. She lost all of the people she was closest to in a matter of moments - hence the song.
Bad Liar - Tell me this isn’t another Miles and Carrie song. I mean, come on! It could definitely be something from before they get together, but regardless of that, they definitely share this song. Miles has the first verse - “I was walking down the street the other day, trying to distract myself, but then I see your face” and “Call me an amenity even if it’s in my dreams” are all him! Carrie takes the second verse as it reads almost as though she’s watching him at first and allowing thoughts of being something more to come through - “I see how your attention build; it’s like looking in a mirror” and “Paint my kiss across your chest. If you’re the art, I’ll be the brush.” Honestly, this song just reads as the tense, in-between stage where they’re friends, but they both want something more than that, but won’t say it, let alone admit it.
Florence +The Machine:
The Dog Days Are Over - This one is one I can see for a few different places. I always use the chorus as motivation to run (for obvious reasons lmao) and I can see it working well during a relay race at the end of Camp Wanamaker where each cabin has to work together to make it from one end of camp to the flagpole at the main office. Some more chaotic versions of this song are in dangerous situations (like in Through the Valley where they're running from infected), but I think having it be a light, fun scene is more entertaining as of right now.
Swimming - This is probably one of the songs I most associate with a mermaid/siren story, but it can also work fairly well for other things. I guess it just screams mermaid to me as I spent most of my time watching H2O as a kid.
ABBA: Boy are there a lot of these, but I'll narrow it down a bit.
Voulez-Vous - As if I needed more motivation for a story I already wrote a sequel for, here's another song that makes me feel like writing a prequel to Glory and Gore/Scattered Screams. This is a song that drives me to want to write about how Mack and Brady won their Hunger Games as well as how they fell in love and, honestly, if I wasn't already knee-deep in other stories, I just might!
Waterloo - Originally the title for How History Repeats Itself, this song has been on my list for ages mostly for the line "The history book on the shelf is always repeating itself." I just really like the song and the lyrics could play a big part in a story at some point, if things go the way I hope they do!
Dancing Queen - This one just always makes me dance and I feel like this song is what Vivien would have blasted for her seventeenth birthday. Tell me Carrie wouldn't drag her up on stage or something and make her sing along with her and make sure that she has the time of her life!
Angeleyes - This one I can't go into too much detail as I might have plans for this song in Camp Wanamaker. I'm not sure about it yet, but I might. Just know that I love this song and have every intention of making this one hurt!
TikToks:
I don't have a lot of TikToks to put here just yet as I usually scroll Pinterest when I get the chance, but I do have a few that I thought would be fun.
This is how Royce prom-poses to Viv, don't bother telling me otherwise as I just won't accept it. Obviously, there would be a few changes, but the premise remains the same as I think it's just too epic to pass up.
This fits two different scenarios, in my head. One is the Murphy brothers and the other is when Miles moves in with Butchy and Lela. They discover this and have fun for hours.
Tell me Vivien and Riven don't do tricks like this on the ice all the time when Royce is around just to give him a heart attack each time.
Vivien does covers of songs like this in her room all the time when she's not practicing with the band and, while they don't exactly go viral or anything, she just enjoys posting her having fun on the drums.
This is Vivien with Miles. Tell me otherwise.
If Bentley ever cat-sat for Royce while he was on a trip for school or something, this would be the video he would send him to show him that the cat owns the house now. Royce would, in turn, send this to Vivien, asking her if he should be concerned.
After hours upon hours of listening to ABBA in the car with both her mom and Aunt Vivien, they begin to hear a tiny voice in the backseat and, one day, they catch this on the way to the mall for a girl's day. A few years later, when Butchy's driving Maisie, Leilana, and Milo (his and Mick's kids) to the playground for the afternoon, he catches them singing along to the radio in the backseat sort of like this and realizes he might have fucked up.
Also, as a final little thing here, I get a lot of my baking ideas from B. Dylan Hollis. This one is actually a snack I get every summer at the carnival and in my hometown at a seasonal restaurant as they make the best deep-fried candy in the world! My personal favorite is deep-fried peanut butter cups, but it's the same concept.
Adding this in here as I forgot to before, but you can’t tell me this isn’t their family game night. I have seen this family a lot on my fyp and I can totally imagine the gang getting up to this kind of chaos. The whole gang would be there and, somehow, Riven convinces them to play Cards Against Humanity. Regardless of who has which card and who has to read all of the answer cards, Butchy would be the dad in every scenario, 100%! I feel like the goal of the game would be to consistently give the most uncomfortable answers to Butchy to see how long it would take for him to make them put the game away.
Anyway, that's it for today! I am off to visit my great-aunt and grab something for dinner before getting back to work on Camp Wanamaker since I wanted to make sure I finished this post today lmao. I hope you have amazing rest of your day! All the love! 💕

My alopecia is unlike the majority I’d say. I’d post pics but I’m paranoid so I can’t really do that but trust. I grow patches of hair on my head that looks like a map of Nunavut or like Greece. And my hair is dark brown so it’s really prominent. I saw one other person with hair (or lack thereof) like mine and it was in an advertisement to get rid of alopecia lol. When I shave it off it looks like a bruise or really blue which kinda sucks but it’s better than being just monotone skin bald to me like how I was in the past. New patches come up occasionally.
On that note I kinda feel like alone?? If that’s the right word. Like it feels like it’s constantly brought up in conversation and I always have to laugh it off awkwardly or like pretend that they’re not overstepping my comfort. Also everyone else with alopecia is usually fucking annoying and I have no friends like me that know the struggle. Like I’m not even really insecure about myself in that regard because I do think I look better without it, a lot of people think the same. But a lot of people take pity on me because they assume I am and I think it’s very disrespectful. I’m not necessarily offended cuz I don’t care it’s just really fucking annoying how I can’t go a full day without someone bringing it up. Or they ask me really invasive questions like if I have pubes like what. Just sick of people mistaking my kindness for openness I guess
Also I believe I have posted my face here a few times (albeit distorted) but if you’re still curious hmu for my insta when I redownload it 😄

To my “piggyback” anon. Thank you for taking the time to get all of that off your chest. You were very thorough, and because of that, I hesitate to post it. Yes, it’s your speculation, not mine, but I’d still be held responsible for sharing, so I’m going to try to answer your questions here without getting into the story too much.
Is it really just for shipbaiting or something more?
It is really just for shipbaiting, and by shipbaiting, I mean trying to convince viewers that a relationship is going to become canon, whether through explicit writing choices or purely through marketing, without any real intention to follow through. In this case, it seems obvious to me that the writers are not behind it. AMC wants Caryl fans to watch, but through every fault of their own, they can’t actually give us Caryl, so they have to find other ways to hold our attention. The first is by trying to appeal to our "feminine" side i.e. hoping we’ll gush over Daryl’s bond with yet another kid. The second is trying to scare or anger us into assuming the worst without pushing too far (because then they’d lose us), and later alleviate those fears so that we think “okay, that could’ve been worse” or “that wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be.”
That’s how they’ve gotten away with shitty storytelling in the past. It is gross. It is manipulative of viewers who are expected to pay for that shitty storytelling. And, it’s a huge gamble considering how badly they broke faith with their viewers. The smartest way to get our attention would’ve been to keep Caryl spiritually connected, but they never did that in S11 and based on what we’ve seen so far, they don’t seem to be doing that this time around either. Even if they did, we’d still be getting significantly less than what we wanted and I say fuck that shit 🤷🏻♀️
Is there any chance of Ikklesa or Lighteneverything or anyone else with spoiler info jumping in to provide some story-related reassurance here? I would love to be talked off the ledge haha. Melissa/Carol coming back was winning a battle, but far, far from winning the war.
I agree. Getting Carol back is a HUGE win all thanks to Melissa McBride, but AMC still needs to be held accountable for its storytelling. That means no more marketing ploys. They can’t call it a Caryl show and then deliver separate arcs. They can’t leave canon open to interpretation and hope that it’ll satisfy everyone. It won’t. We saw how mixed the reactions were to the series finale.
The only reassurance I can give is AMC seems to be leaning into desires to market S2, which could mean they’re more confident about what they’re delivering. I don’t know what the story is ultimately going to look like. I don’t think anyone does. As @ikkleosu explained before, we can get tidbits on certain things, but it’s highly unlikely anyone will be able to give us the whole picture. I know I sound like a broken record at this point, but if you have concerns, don’t jump in with both feet just yet. The show should be catering to your needs, not the other way around.

ONLY ART SIDEBLOG. if you turn on notifications here i am blessing you with 3 shiney pennies thank you
new disco elysium sideblog because im insane.
if you want to know I am a intersex trans guy but bi-gender about it and kinda aro ace ? but a little gay? :) we stay funky and strange
moving up here because it’s relevant I do not reblog donation posts from people I don’t know or post asks from people I don’t know asking for donations in my inbox. it kinda sucks that’s how it has to be, but there’s no way I could independently vet them all and it feels like the situation with scammers has gotten a lot worse lately. I’m focusing on promoting the campaign of Salma, which you can see in my recent posts (here). Plus I’ll be honest I’m not popular. on sideblogs I will occasionally but it’s made with the assumption I haven’t done research. For this blog I make sure what I reblog is vetted. Please do not send me asks or messages about donation posts I will assume you are a scammer and block you. Please do your own research before donating especially when it’s on one of my side blogs. Ty
I don’t fuck with TMA/TME but I won’t usually block based on that alone because I know usually it’s from a different experience than mine, and I do value that experience. However some of you are rancid about it and if you think that all of transphobia is redirected transmisogyny, or that you can easily categorize people individually as TMA/TME in every case (especially by going ‘well no one but trans women are -actually- affected by this bigotry) just like. Don’t bother.
always tagging unreality and flashing lights, and I don't reblog things that can be guilt trippy or superstitious about reblogging (when I do, it's with #reblog bait) I also don't reblog donation posts unless I know you :( I know a good portion are probably legit, but. 'probably legit' is kind of an issue..
Edit edit: does not apply to verified Palestinians fundraising because verified.
On top of that im not someone with many followers at all so it's very unlikely to help anyways.
I don't tag most fandoms (unless im drawing art) (i want to change that eventually though) because my laptop is a potato (lovingly) and the thought of tagging every post with it's fandom makes me vaporize into dust. other times it's because i don't know them ;; sometimes im just enjoying whatever my mutuals are reblogin :] even if id on't know what its from lol
also ill try and tag anything i think needs tagging for warnings but stuff not mentioned here may not be universal. #bugs is for bugs and spiders though. you can send me an ask if you need something else tagged

Dear Firegloom,
I actually do have a diagnosis and no I do not have Autism. I have PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), so it’s understandable why you’d mistaken the two. However, there is a difference. By the by I am taking some knowledge from the Chief Mod answering this who is diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and has done research on it and PTSD.
With PTSD, it is a mental illness caused by a traumatic experience. In my case, it was DL-6. Me getting into law books and not making many friends at a young age had nothing to do with any disability whatsoever. That’s because I’m an introvert by nature, meaning I’ve always been one to keep to myself and get tired from too much socializing. There are many people like that without the other symptoms you’ve described.
My trouble with socializing is mostly due to my purposefully distancing myself from family and friends due to my anxiety. Those with Autism have anxieties too, but those with PTSD get them from being overly alert. It’s often triggered by their past traumatic experience. It puts them at a fight or flight scenario in situations where most would never have it. I often overthink what people are thinking, how they look at me and assuming they must hate me. It happens more often than you think. I often panic over Detective Gumshoe being five minutes late for work and will assume the worst, even if it’s unlikely to happen.
Reading other people’s emotions like a math equation is mostly to keep my sanity than anything else. After DL-6, I considered building relationships almost the same as a life or death situation. If I was to love and care for someone, I could lose them like I lost Father. It was why I avoided ever spending time with Wright and Larry after DL-6 and often secluded myself from the current loved ones. You could say I kept my heart guarded at all times in lock and chains.
From what the Chief Mod has told me, their experience with Autism has similar symptoms to mine, but for far different reasons. From what they’ve told me, it’s a Developmental Disability that has no connection to past trauma, but having trouble with developing skills that most people would learn faster or naturally such as speech, reading the atmosphere, multitasking and the like. I wouldn’t say I talk formally for that reason. In fact, I’ve never had issues with developing or learning a new skill and I can multitask quite well.
I’d do more research on the matter, but I hope this answers your question.
- Miles Edgeworth

I guess I should do some kind of intro post, so here we go;
Hey there, I’m Two or 2! I’m the primary manager of this blog.
While I may run this blog I am not the only one who browses around, so while most commentary can be assumed mine, not all the content is!
In the simplest community terms, we are a system consisting primarily of ‘fictionkin’. Collectively we are a manufactured Deity that fools around with a few aspects, we try to sort these with our tags!
Tags aren’t for any specific one of us outside of special cases, and we are a bit shy about our kintypes, so there’s unlikely to ever be a cohesive list - you are free to ask us about them in private, however.
Just because you see it posted here does not mean we have that kintype.
We enjoy esoteric ramblings about the experience we have and hearing about the experiences of others - I crave info, I LOVE listening to new things, please don’t be shy to say hi if you want any excuse to talk about your experiences, metaphysical or otherwise. (Though I have a particular interest in the metaphysical)
I’ve been calling myself Deitykin for over a decade now and Otherkin even longer, I’m pretty bored of discourse in the community and don’t want to engage with it.
I do my best to keep up with the terminology, but if you have any confusions or questions about my identity I would rather just be asked about it than have anything assumed because I dropped the wrong term! I would however like to ask that we only be referred to as system members or shards, we dislike other terms for ourselves. NBD if it’s your word, it just isn’t ours.
Expect to see due to our associations; Digital themes, Examination of the manufactured, What it is to be manufactured, Angels, Wolves in the storybook sense, the concept of endings, the concept of beginnings, the concept of narrative, experimentation and inquiry, many swords, and lots of silly shit, we do not take ourselves all that seriously all the time.

Mongolia according to sidereal vedic astrology chart
For Mongolia’s birthday, I’m using his independence day from Qing Empire aka December 29 1911. Technically, yes, of course Mongolia is way older than that — but there’s no way we can accurately determine when exactly he was born and December 29 is already there celebrated throughout the country. For his ‘birth hour’, I am choosing 12.00 noon as I assumed it was around the time Bogd Khanate was established.
This is where I entered the data: astro-seek website
(Note: if you think to yourself like “why does this sound weird and unlike what I’ve known before” that’s because this is a sidereal astrology. Sidereal uses a different calculation system compared to tropical, or the one we all commonly know. So don’t be surprised if say, you might be a Virgo in tropical but in sidereal you become a Leo. I am also going to be explain my findings with Vedic terms and system, so if, again, you find differences — that’s because I’m using Vedic, not tropical (Western) system)
I am by no means an expert, as I’m just doing this for fun. So if you wanna read the chart and look things up yourself, you can enter the data and do it on your own! You might come up with a different birth hour/date as well (there’s another whole topic called birth chart rectification but it’s not the scope of this post nor it is by any means an expertise of mine. It’s an actual astrologer doing lol)
Here is his big three: sun, moon, ascendant:
1) 1st house (lagna/ascendant): self (ego, sense of self, appearance, identity, temperament)
Ascendant and moon in Pisces, Revati Nakshatra: Revati is the last of 27 Nakshatras (lunar mansion), which means that with this sign things come to completion before they begin anew. Revati means ‘shining one’ and people with this nakshatra act as a guiding light to others, ever helpful and nurturing like the sign’s ruling deity Pushan, who is a protector for herds and flocks, protecting and sending them to safety in their owners. Revatis are sweet, sincere and caring. They are also deeply optimistic and unmoved by pressures, will see to completion any goal they have in mind, which can be as high as the sky. They’re also highly intuitive and dreamy. However, Revatis can be pretty detached and they also have an independent streak; they cannot be easily controlled. While sweet, Revatis can also be cunning even if they don’t much look so.
Moon in the first house also means Mongolia wears his emotions on his sleeves. Basically, emotions are tied to his sense of self. This placement makes him observant and attentive to his surroundings, since he’s so good at working through emotions he’s able to care for others emotionally too. Moon in this place also makes him highly instinctive. He doesn’t mistake what his gut tells him. Since his moon and the ascendant are the same, this pretty much means that his emotions/mental state and the way he sees things in the world are the same, that of Pisces (Revati).
Chart ruler (owner of ascendant sign) is Jupiter, in 9th house of Scorpio. This means that the theme that goes on throughout his life, his guiding compass, is through Jupiter in that house (explanation later). Both houses will influence each other.
2) 2nd house: possessions (material and immaterial), personal values and ethics, self esteem, family as possession
Saturn in Aries (Bharani): Saturn is said to be debilitated in Aries, meaning that Saturn cannot do what it’s good at doing in Aries. Saturn is a planet of discipline and caution but Aries is aggressive and impulsive; the power of these two clash. That is how Mongolia approach possessions including money or finance. Since Saturn here is retrograde, the Saturnian energy is directed to be introspective rather than externalized. This means that Mongolia often sits with his own vulnerabilities regarding his possessions and works through the inner workings in his mind. Saturn in retrograde may cause more of an emotional turmoil than direct. Being a planet of inhibition and limitation, Saturn here will also make possessions often lacking or that Mongolia will feel it lacking.
Rahu/north lunar node in Aries (Aswini): Rahu is a ‘planet’ of obsession or desire. Rahu in second house means Mongolia has a desire to accumulate wealth, because it’s an area he’s lacking at in this lifetime. This is also the case with self esteem and family. In Aries, Rahu multiplies the ambition and drive.
Lord of the second house of Aries is Mars in third house. It means that the way to accumulate wealth can be done through third house, with both houses influencing each other.
3) 3rd house: early learning, mental intelligence, communication, short distance travels, siblings, neighbors/neighborhood
Mars in Taurus (Krittika): also lord of Mongolia’s second house. Mars’ fiery nature is calmed by Taurus’ earthly characteristics: this makes Mongolia patient, stubborn, and practical in regard to fighting for his desires, which not only influence the third house but also apparently the second house which it rules.
Mars is also his darakaraka/spouse planet, also an area in which he is lacking and thus is what he seeks. Mongolia does indeed want to stand up to his neighbors, to be more assertive when communicating especially to neighbors. Might also indicate dependence, if it’s what he seeks.
Lord of third house is in Venus in eighth house of Libra. This means that he also fulfills his third house needs through his eighth house, and that the goings in the third house can influence the workings of eighth house. This position doesn’t really give a good result, since eighth house is sixth from third and third is eighth from eight. In Vedic astrology, 6 and 8 are malefic number and this may cause enmity in regards to third house matters, such as with siblings and neighbors, which is true for Mongolia. However, since Venus sits in its own sign in Libra, Mongolia will gain some relevant strength even during the whole enmity.
4) 4th house: house/home, roots, (mother)land, mother, vehicles, real estate, domestic happiness
Pluto in Gemini (Mrigashira): there is a need to undergo deep transformation through situations at home. At the same time, it makes Mongolia too secretive, guarded and possessive. He is preoccupied with making his home/motherland secure, and there is control issues as well. This transformation is done through deep curiosity for information and intellectual pursuits. Sadly, this doesn’t make a good focus as it’s too scatterbrained; Mongolia wants to fix many things at once which often results in fixing nothing.
Lord of the house is Mercury in tenth house of Sagittarius.
5) 5th house: creativity, romance, children, joy, pleasure, self expression
Mongolia has Cancer at the cusp of this house which means he approaches the themes of fifth house in a nurturing, sensitive, and comfortable manner. Mongolia often appears unflappable outside, but inside he is a mush. He’s not easy to open up either, but can show dependency once he gets really close! Cancer being in fifth house means he hates drama when it comes to romance or children, because he wishes for emotional security with these people. His own feelings can be overwhelming even without drama, anyway.
Neptune in Cancer (Punarvasu) means Mongolia can be dreamy in romance to the point of getting his head in the clouds. This is a planet that makes you escape the mundane. This also means the emotions: they can be brought to greater heights with this planet’s influence. Neptune also makes Mongolia highly understanding of his romantic partners/children.
Mongolia has the lord of fifth house sitting in his first house (moon). This means that he brings and gives himself in romance/creativity/children, and that romance, creativity and children would be important for his sense of self. Considering that his ascendant and moon are the nurturing type, and his fifth house also is, the tendency will be heightened up the sky.
Cancer in fifth house is also Mongolia’s arudha lagna (pada of lagna, of first house) or the image he brings into the world, that of parental and nurturing energy.
Aspects: Neptune sextile Mars. A sextile is a cooperative energy between two planets, and Neptune in fifth house would give Mars in third house ideals as well as ideas for Mongolia to fight for in his communication attempt. Mars itself would be giving Mongolia tenacity and drive to fight for his ideals.
6) 6th house: health, wellness, daily routine, diseases, debts, enemies, obstacles
Leo at the cusp of sixth house: when it comes to dealing with day-to-day matters, or facing obstacles, Mongolia is full of vigor, confidence and charisma, and there’s a need to take the lead. Leo being in sixth house could also mean he has a good health.
Sixth house is empty, with lord sun in tenth house in Sagittarius.
7) 7th house: spouse, partnership, business partners, sex as physical intimacy (one-on-one relationship)
Virgo at the cusp of seventh house means Mongolia is earthly, pragmatic, attentive to detail, with a focus to be in servitude to a partner, which could be either sexual or platonic.
Seventh house is empty, with its lord Mercury in the tenth house. With that in mind, Mongolia will meet his partners through matters pertaining 10th house. With Mercury as the lord, he will attract intellectuals and people he can share ideas with, with the relationship built off of communication as a base.
8) 8th house: death, sex as intimacy, shared money, inheritance, transformation, rebirth, the mystic and esoteric
Venus in Libra (Vishakha): Venus is right at home in Libra! The very social, fair, dynamic and harmonious sign is ruled by planet of love, relationship, and seduction. Venus is also Mongolia’s atmakaraka/soul planet, with this being a planet at the highest degree in one’s chart denoting the most potent power one could have. Venus in Libra in eighth house means Mongolia puts a high emphasis in connection with others, being strategic and objective with it, and as the most social sign Mongolia could handle intimacy with many people at once. Libra at the cusp of eighth house will also make him very sexual. The downside is that he could be a bit too accommodating to others and putting himself to the side, though Libra in principle will always strive for fairness or equal give and take. Libra in eighth house would also mean that Mongolia’s partners help him accumulating fortune.
As mentioned before, Venus is the lord of Mongolia’s third house, which rules communication and neighborly relations. Since Venus is really strong in eighth house, Mongolia will gain strength through it when dealing with his neighbors, even though he faces difficulties there as explained above.
Ketu/south lunar node in Libra: since Rahu is in 2nd house and Rahu represents obsession while Ketu represents detachment and liberation, Ketu in eighth house makes Mongolia lives almost thoroughly in the present in order to obsess over worldly possessions and be unconcerned about what lies in the dark or beyond. The mystic or esoteric doesn’t move him. But since Ketu represents what one had in abundance in the past life, Mongolia can ‘tap’ into the unconscious to retrieve the blessings. It will still tend to be done badly however, but since Mongolia has a benefic Venus sitting in the same house with Ketu, the bad aspects caused by Ketu is likely to be nullified by Mongolia’s strong Venus.
Aspects: Neptune trine Venus means both planets give power to and help one another. Neptune in fifth house gives Mongolia’s Venus the power to be even more dreamy and understanding. This would make him a very romantic and attentive partner. Mongolia also has Venus opposite Mars, which is a very intense connection when aggressive Mars and the seductive Venus pull as strongly at each other, which makes Mongolia deeply intense in relationships and would love partners who could give back as good as he gave them. Since his Mars sits in Taurus, he’ll perhaps be quieter, but the stubbornness and intensity would be twofold.
9) 9th house: visions, wisdom, philosophy, faith, higher learning, travel to foreign lands
Jupiter in Scorpio (Anuradha): here sits the lord of Mongolia’s lagna and the whole chart, Jupiter. Jupiter is a planet of guru, fortune, expansion, knowledge, growth, and optimism. Scorpio is the sign of sexuality, depth, and magnetic intensity — therefore in Jupiter in Scorpio will increase these Scorpian tendencies to greater height. Scorpio is inward looking while Jupiter is outward however, so likely there will be some clash in how the energies operate, but nonetheless it will be magnificent! The ninth house is traditionally ruled by Sagittarius and its ruler Jupiter, therefore Jupiter works really well here — and it being Mongolia’s chart ruler would mean the ongoing theme of Mongolia’s whole life is full of gaining wisdom and to impart his findings to others.
The ruler of the house is Mars, in third house. This means that the way Mongolia deals with communication and neighbors would give him wisdom and insights. The insights brought by Jupiter in this house will also help Mars deal with third house.
Aspects: Moon trine Jupiter makes Mongolia warm hearted, generous, confident, broad minded, popular and friendly. Since moon sits in the lagna and Jupiter is Mongolia’s chart ruler, both of these are intimately tied to Mongolia’s sense of self and his whole person, and both Lunar and Jupiterian influences are how Mongolia affects the world.
10) 10th house: career, reputation, power, contribution to society, father, vocation
Sun in Sagittarius, Purva Ashadha Nakshatra: Purva Ashadha means invincible or unconquered. This is a Nakshatra of warriors, wars and physical power, and the native might find a job in the military or politics, especially considering that Mongolia has this sun in tenth house which rules profession! The symbol of Purva Ashadha is a hand fan, which can mean to cool oneself as well as to fan a fire to keep it flaming. With Sun in Purva Ashadha, Mongolia is deeply driven, passionate, and ambitious. He will also be truthful, righteous, and believe in justice. Since this is a Nakshatra of war, Mongolia can also be paranoid at times thinking it’s him against the world.
Sun is also the lord of Mongolia’s sixth house. This is a placement that can bring some difficulties, considering sixth house is a house of illness and obstacles and tenth is a house of profession. Mongolia could very well face several obstacles in work. If the sun is strong however, it can likely bring in ‘health’ as sixth house also concerns health and ways to get it.
Mercury in Sagittarius (Mula): Mercury has a natural clash in this sign, as Mercury is analytical and detailed while Sagittarius is more concerned with the big ideas of everything. Also, Mercury here is retrograde which means that as a planet that also rules communication, it will get disrupted and there will be misunderstandings and confusions. Considering Mercury is also the ruling planet of Mongolia’s fourth and seventh house, there will be disruptions and difficulties in fixing problems at home and also in communicating with sexual partners as well as business partners.
The ruler of tenth house is Jupiter in ninth house of Scorpio. This means that the workings of his ninth house will influence the workings of his tenth house. However, since 9th house sits 12th from his 10th, which is the most malefic number in Vedic astrology, this likely means he will face significant hardships in his work. However, Jupiter is also Mongolia’s lagnesh/chart ruler, and it sitting in an auspicious place of ninth house will provide blessings and protection as well.
Aspects:
Sun conjunct Mercury: conjunct is an aspect where two planets sit very near and thus will intensely feed each other energy. Sun is synonymous with ego or consciousness while Mercury is intellect or mind, so with them sitting nearby together Mongolian will have the brains to achieve his ambitions — except his Mercury is retrograde, so it probably won’t be very effective at times.
Sun square Moon: square is an aspect where two planets are in conflicts, quite like opposition. With Sun square Moon, Mongolia would be having a war between his ego and emotions. However, this will also provide a chance for him to work through the challenges.
Sun trine Saturn: Sun’s determination and vitality would help Saturn do its discipline work. Usually Saturn can make people prone to extreme anxiety, but Mongolia could find a way to rise from worry and do the necessary work (even though it could still lead to a lot of frustration!)
Sun opposite Pluto: Pluto is transformation and Sun is ego, so when they oppose each other it will result in Mongolia often having too big ego to accept having to change his way. At the same time, he will feel the need to change, but he will feel dissatisfied and may face destructive tendencies.
Mercury opposite Pluto: there is a tension between working on something in depth (Pluto) and articulating it intellectually (Mercury). Especially with Mercury ruling the house where Pluto sits at, Mongolia could be obsessing over every nook and cranny to detriment, and Mercury being retrograde would mean he’s not good at it.
Mongolia also has Sun conjuncts Midheaven, also in Purva Ashadha. Midheaven is the peak of a birth chart and denotes one’s legacy in life. Having Sun conjuncting Midheaven means Mongolia’s ego is tied tightly to his work and legacy, and this makes him especially charismatic and attracting others to his work, the attention of which he will really love.
11) 11th house: gains (income, fortune, connections), friendships, social circles, society
Uranus in Capricorn (Uttara Ashadha): Capricorn is the most stable and conventional sign in the zodiac while Uranus speaks of freedom and liberation. Having Uranus in Capricorn means Mongolia always seeks to liberate himself from the traditional setting of friendship, aka Russia and China. The same can be said about gains; Mongolia always looks for new ways to get things.
The lord of eleventh house, Saturn, sits in the second house which indicates link between the two houses. This can mean that Mongolia’s social circle will become his family or asset. This could also mean that his fortune comes from family.
Aspects: in Uranus opposite Neptune, Uranus, being a planet of rebellion, change and defiance would be opposing Neptune, a planet of dreams and imagination. The end result would be disharmony in his social circle of friends, or that’s what Mongolia would feel! While with Mars trine Uranus, Uranus would be helping Mongolia standing up against his neighbors with a touch of rebellion, while Mars’ tenacity would be helping Mongolia rebelling against his traditional social circle.
12) 12th house: loss, isolation, decline, secrets, mystery, expenses, detachment, liberation of the self, spirituality, foreign lands
Closing the chart with the twelfth house, Aquarius at the cusp of this house speaks of innovative and progressive nature to deal with one’s sense of detachment. At the same time, the often misunderstood nature of Aquarius will exaggerate Mongolia’s sense of isolation, giving him a deeper mysterious bent.
Since the lord of twelfth house, Saturn (as well as Rahu, since Aquarius is co-ruled by Rahu) sits in the second house, this will make Mongolia’s family be the reason of expenditure often beyond the means and speed to accumulate them. Family and possessions will be how Mongolia experiences the deep turmoil in loss.
