the smeargle is a butz family pet who is a piece of shit (pun intended). larry is the only one who gets along with it / lets it bully him

von karma spent ten bajillion of his prosecutor dollars making sure kingdra, mienshao, and skarmory had perfect IVs

lillipup gets left in its ball a lot when edgeworth's in his teens & early 20s. it remembers phoenix & zigzagoon and tries to ditch edgeworth for them at least once

instead of being tasered in 1-4, phoenix & maya get blasted with a critical hydro pump. no one in the police records area questions the man with the giant seahorse

edgeworth leaves skarmory behind when he "chooses death". gumshoe takes care of it until he returns

he DOES take lillipup with him out of instinct; they get close again over the course of the year, and when he returns in 2-4 it's with a newly-evolved herdier <3

Hello, Ace Attorney community!!

I’m a new writer and have been working on a narumitsu centric fic for the past couple of weeks and wanted to get the word out! Again, I’m a new writer on Ao3, so this is my first work. Regardless, I’ve had a really good time writing so far! This fic is still a work in progress as of 1/13/25, but I have a completed story board for the whole thing that I just need to write out and publish, so rest assured that this WILL be finished! Here’s the summary:

There are many things expected of the Chief Prosecutor. He handles such matters with ease, of course,… but what about the things that are expected of Miles Edgeworth? He is not a very outgoing person, at least he doesn’t think his is. He’s let himself get closer to other people over the years, but what if one day his closeness to the people he truly cares for suddenly backfires on him horribly and he finds himself in a situation where he has to fear for their lives as well as his own?

Phoenix Wright and his colorful entourage of colleagues/friends care so much for the man, but how can they express their support if they can’t find him? Phoenix, ever the emotionalist, needs to find the frilly prosecutor before his sends himself into a coma-inducing panic attack.

Everyone, Including Phoenix and Miles, can try their DAMNDEST to make Wrightworth happen,

but in the end what causes them to FINALLY get together, will be an event caused BY LARRY BUTZ.
