uh surprisingly not that many actually. i think i have i'm working on like 5 or 8 twst wips? (3 of them are smut, all of them have jamil in it, none of them are wcidfy oops)

i am lying through my teeth. i am struggling to hold back my closet doors. it is about to burst open and i am a fool with noodles for arms.

🛠Is there a scene or anything in the WIP you are struggling with right now?

i tend to flipflop between my wips esp since i get blocked very easily, esp when its a fic that has more than 1 character++ensemble dialogue, so...dio's just been here parkouring around in her wips folders, chipping away to add a sentence or two.

it's kinda funny because i dont really visualize as im writing, but rather i tend to hear the narration and dialogue as im typing it down? so, it's also kinda ironic that i struggle the most with writing dialogue over other things in fic.

Back in the year of the early 2000’s, a programmer came across the Restoration Project of the 70’s/80’s Welcome Home tv show. They ended up loving Welcome Home so much that they decided to make a game based off of it and ended up making a dating simulator!

The game was simple:

You could hang out with any of the characters in the dating sim and try to form some kind of relationship! Whether it be platonic or romantic. The dateable cast is as follows:

Wally Darling

Barnaby B. Beagle

Sally Starlet

Julie Joyful

Eddie Dear*

Frank Frankly*

Poppy Partridge

Howdy Pillar

*(Frank and Eddie would already be a married couple, but you would be able to be get into a polyamorous relationship if convinced enough.)

The more you hang out and get to know more about a particular character, the more romantically involved you and said character would become. (Ya know, typical dating sim mechanics.)

After some time, the game was finished, the programmer decided to do a test run of the game using Wally as their person of interest.

At the time, everything was all fine and dandy. Until our dear programmer fell victim to the dreaded ILOVEYOU Virus. They lost almost everything on their computer. They had also made the mistake of having all the files and coding on that same computer. Thankfully, nothing seemed to be lost or ruined in either the files or the codes. Or so they thought…

When they went to check up on the game, they noticed a few…. changes…

The game would randomly glitch whenever they were talking to the Wally character. And other times, it would somehow glitch back to Wally when talking to a completely different character. They tried rewriting the code and double checking the files for the game but it ended up making it worse or the results would end up the same: Fruitless..

Eventually, that programmer gave up on trying to save the game. They put it in storage and ended up moving on with other things in life and completely forgetting about the game in general.

Lets say… some odd years later, you end up finding game at some random garage sale. You ended up buying it and bringing it home to play, mainly because you were genuinely curious about it in general, but also mainly because you were bored and had nothing else interesting left to do that day. So, after getting back home, you pop it into the computer and load it up.

For such an old game, it surprisingly loaded quickly with ease!

After loading, the intro screen presents itself and you begin to play.

Your character starts off talking with Wally. Everything is fine up until a certain point. Whenever you finally got around to flirting with the Wally character is when things started glitching.

Whenever a different character and Wally were on the screen at the same time, tiny glitches would happen that would make Wally look like he was talking DIRECTLY at you. Other times it would make it look as if Wally would take a quick glimpse at you. Not the you in-game character, but YOU.

After a bit you started to get creeped out, so you decided to turn off the computer and take out the game, thinking that would be the end of it.

If only you know how oh so wrong you were about that…

That night, after had gone off to bed, your computer turned itself back on. It starts glitching out. Then finally after a few agonizingly seconds, a glitched out silhouette of Wally starts to slowly appear amongst the glitches…

(Each character acts differently in their own way. They each have their own personality, traits and quirks. It mainly all depends on how you interact with everyone!)

I just love the energy that radiates from the entirety of wh so far. I love scary things, yes, but the cuteness! The silliness! The absolute happy vibes! And it's not even just wh itself! I've scrolled through clown's posts and felt the same vibes from them as I did from wh! I just can't express enough how happy it all makes me! And to think it's only just starting! I can hardly wait to see the rest of it! Good luck to clown and all I hope is that they have a good time working on it and that they don't overwork themselves or try to rush it just to make the fans happy. Take your time!

If clown happens to find this somehow with the amount of people who probably try to message them, @ them, etc, I just wanna say I'm excited to see how this all turns out! And also, I have a quick question (since idk if the asks will reopen,) although you don't have to answer! I've been wondering for a little while now, but what are the canon genders, sexualities, and pronouns of the wh characters? I wanna make sure I don't make any mistakes referring to them or anything. I'm a mediocre vocalist who is trying to learn the piano, but my skills arent there yet. and moreover, I havent finished a fanfiction, or any work of fiction, since middle school. I have so many stories and worlds locked inside my brain. and yeah, ill rate your accuracy to myself in the comments of your fic, and bitch about your choices profusely but honestly... theres something deeply touching about it.

this is so important to me. i know adder is most often presented as a shallow horny idiot (which he also is) but he's surprisingly aware of katherine being a deeply sad person.

then there's also the whole sounding oddly excited at the idea of both him and janosh visiting the baths thing. okay! the whole "you always smell like a cunt" "and you're a prick" "that's why we fit together hehe" & "you kiss your mama with that mouth?" "and yours too! ". if i was in 1403 bohemia i'd be raising my eyebrow let me tell you

also i love that janosh genuinely keeps trying to talk to adder about food. it's cute.

jinx has always claimed that isha speaks to her on occasion. you and sevika are always skeptical. a lot of isha's squeaks can sound like words-- and jinx tends to hear voices that aren't really there more than most people.

it takes a year of living together before one of you catches it in person.

sevika runs into the kitchen so fast she almost knocks over a chair. "babe, babe!" she says with a giddy smile. you giggle.

"what?"

"isha-- she just talked!" sevika laughs. "she doesn't know i heard her-- she was puttin' her socks on and her toe popped out of a hole, and she went; 'awe fuck!'" sevika imitates.

you burst into laughter. "are you sure?! you didn't just mishear one of her little grunts?"

"babe, i know what i heard. i read about this, y'know. sometimes, mute kids just randomly talk. and jinx said she's heard it before! i guess... i guess she really liked those socks!" sevika cackles. "you shoulda heard her little voice cursin' baby, oh my god!" sevika can't stop laughing.

for a long time, you don't quite believe her story. you're sure your wife thought she heard your kid curse, but you aren't convinced that isha can talk at all.

until she talks to you.

almost two years after sevika claims she hears isha talk, you're tucking her into bed like any other night. isha's pointing out various poisonous frog species to you in her favorite 'dangerous animals' book, and you're playing with her hair, kissing her head occasionally.

"if i was a poision dart frog, i think i'd be pink and purple. what about you?"

isha taps her chin while she considers your question, then signs with a smile. blue and yellow! you laugh. of course she'd pick her favorite colors.

"nice. what do you think jinx and big mama would be?"

jinxie is blue and purple and big mama is green!

"you've got it all figured out, huh?"

isha nods with a yawn. you chuckle.

"alright-- i think it's bedtime. c'mon, get comfy." isha hands her book to you and crawls under her covers. when she settles, she scrunches her face just a bit and lets out a fart. you giggle. "got your dutch oven going, huh?" you ask. she laughs.

"do frogs fart?" isha asks.

you freeze, staring at isha as she blinks up at you with big eyes, waiting for an answer. "wh-- did you--"

do they? she signs.

you burst into laughter and pull isha into your arms. "i have no idea!" you laugh. "oh my god!" isha giggles in your arms, confused by your reaction but enjoying the barrage of kisses you're giving her regardless. "i love you so much you silly little girl."

isha gets sick of your cuddles, elbowing you and signing. look it up on your phone! she whines. you cackle.

"okay, okay!" you laugh as you pull out your phone to google isha's question.

sevika and jinx are never going to believe this.

• Honestly, with how engrossed he is during the conversation, it takes him a painfully long while to notice that you have suddenly became so quiet and just stared off into the distance.

• When he does though, it's either half way during the conversation, or long AFTER the gathering.

• It's not that he isn't watching over you or paying attention to you, you know that full well because he has his hand intertwined in yours the whole gathering.

• It's js that, sometimes he gets so excited over seeing his friends after a long time, you can't blame the boy! D:

• When he finds out, he instantly assures you, mumbling a soft "I'm sorry if I made you feel left out. Just tell me next time, okay? I got you."

• He isn't the best at giving assurance, and it's painfully obvious. But give him time, you're his first time in literally everything!!

• What happened during though? This is the scenario :

• It was when the og trio + Alluka had finally decided to meet up after all these days. Killu and Alluka was the most ecstatic to finally meet Gon, and you were too! To finally meet one of your best friends after a long and hard time is a dream come true to the both of you.

• When you four met, everything was amazing at first! You four conversed a lot, and you four caught up. Then it just soon came so suddenly where you were just listening in the conversation, even while making small comments. They both would just give subtle acts of acknowledgement that didn't really feel like you were being acknowledged, y'know?

• Feeling suddenly left out despite having a hand in Killua's hand, you grew quiet and upset. The two of them seemed to be having so much fun talking amongst each other, and that's understandable. Inevitably, they were both closer because they were boys, and it is said that two of the same gender get along easily, that's how you and Alluka got along quickly, after all.

• Speaking of Alluka, she was the one that noticed your sudden distance, she tried to tell her beloved older brother, only to be stopped by said significant other, whispering a gentle and soft : "It's okay, Alluka. Let your brother enjoy."

• Alluka gives you a sad expression and hugs you, what a cutie she is, seriously. You absolutely love each other so much, it was so precious.

• After the interaction and you three were heading back, Alluka marched to her older brother with an angry look and pout, upon noticing this, Killua automatically went into internal panic mode. "Your a big meanie, brother!" She exclaims with a huff, making Killua blink twice in confusion, "Wh- Huh? What do you mean, Alluka?" Killua asked in genuine confusion plastered on his face.

• "You made yn cry!" Alluka exclaimed, COMPLETELY exaggerating your reaction. Face palming when Killua whipped his face to your direction, "I didn't cry, Alluka.." You mumbled in an exasperated manner, removing your hand from your face to look at Alluka. "But you were going to!" "Was not." "Are too!"

• "Can we normalize explaining before making conclusions?! What is happening?!" Killua exclaimed to the two girls before him and whipping his face from Alluka and to you. "You were ignoring yn!" Alluka exclaimed in a straightforward manner, running to you and hugging your waist while giving Killua an upset pout, as if she was the one that was being left out.

• "..Well that's the short story, I guess..? It's- it's nothing. Just felt, dunno, left out when you and Gon were just barely acknowledging me. Could be that I'm just tired so let's just go back.." You hesitantly explained and kept things hidden, mostly because you didn't want to annoy Killua for being so easily saddened. Gently grabbing Alluka's hand, you three silently walked back to the inn you three lived in for a few days.

• Upon arriving back, Alluka headed straight for her bed, leaving you and Killua alone face to face, literally. "I'll uh.. go back to bed now, see you." You mumbled awkwardly, "..sorry, yn." He whispers in a sincere manner, leaving you a bit dumbfounded. "..are you seriously Killua?" You say in a subtle baffled manner, blinking twice, receiving a light-hearted glare from Killua.

• "I didn't think you'd feel that way. Truth be told, I thought you didn't want to be pestered by us, so I just gave you subtle looks.. so I'm sorry, that was on my end, too." Killua mumbles sheepishly, walking towards you and pulling you into a gentle hug. "Clearly, I'm not the best with these, and you can see how stiff and awkward I am.. but be more vocal with it, it's hard to understand someone so quiet like you.. Just tell me next time, okay?" Killua says in a hushed tone, and you reciprocated his hug.

• Breathing in his scent, he smelled like a bed of Gardenias, it was always so comforting. "Thank you, Killua." You softly whispered into his ear and you felt his head nod. "I got you, yn. Always."

༉‧₊˚. Kurapika Kurta !ᶻ 𝗓 𐰁

• Kurapika is definitely one to notice instantly.

• You CANNOT tell me this man doesn't have some sixth sense when it comes to you.

• He's genuinely so charming whenever he assures you that his intentions aren't to leave you out of the conversation or gathering.

• I think he's very intelligent when it comes to emotions such as distress and saddened emotions, so he takes care of you very well.

• He's a very busy guy so plzplz be patient w him too !!

• But he and I can assure you that he loves you very much and would sacrifice so much for u !!

• This is probably what happened :

• It was probably during one of his missions as a Bounty Hunter. You were with him because, well, you too were a Bounty Hunter, and it's your job!

• But you can't help but feel upset after he dismissed one of your many plans once again because some other member had a plan too, yours was a brilliant plan too!

• After your probably 5th plan being dismissed by your beloved, you had grown silent and decided to just close yourself off and listen. This, was most definitely noticed by Kurapika.

• He faced your awfully distant expression, he knew what was wrong, he just couldn't speak up because you both were doing your job, to successfully do this mission, you both had to pay close attention to the details.

• Evening soon fell upon the Hunters, and the mission came to a commence, and you were both paired up ( As per Kurapika's request, surprisingly. )

• "yn, please tell me what is on your mind." Kurapika gently spoke up, turning to face you as you both walked to your designated location. Snapping out of your hyper-focused trance, you looked at his ever so gentle eyes that made your heart skip a beat.

• "I'm okay, Kurapika." You gave a light-hearted assurance, "There is something weighing your mind, my dear. Please do not be so unkind to yourself and speak what is within your mind.." He ever so softly requests, that vulnerability on his face, the subtle affection and concern hidden in his voice of toughness,

• This all reminded you why you fell in love with Kurapika, the reason why you chose to love each other, because of the very limited times you both show your vulnerable sides, the most sensitive emotions a human can feel.

• "It isn't that serious, Kurapika. It's just that I didn't feel like an equal to everyone after you've quite literally dismissed many of my plans." You explain your feelings in a half hurt and half amusement at how stupid your plans probably are to be dismissed by Kurapika.

• "I see.. I apologize, my dear. My intentions were not to make you feel unimportant, rather to keep your plans as a secret. Your plans are brilliant– extraordinary, even. However I believe that we individually have to discuss it amongst ourselves." Kurapika explains why he was dismissing it, well– more on like being possessive over your knowledge.

• Truth be told, there were some weirdos in the mission you were both in and they had a thing for knowledgeable people, so Kurapika felt heavily possessive over you and ultimately decided to rudely dismiss your plans.

• "Oh.. I see.." You mumbled with a slow nod, blinking twice and looking down, "So.. I didn't sound stupid?" You mumbled, looking for his approval, he softly smiles and nods. "Absolutely not. You have a brilliant mind, my dear. How about we start discussing about your plans? I do wish to know more about the details."
