Y/n smiled warmly at him, her heart fluttering with his words, when suddenly a voice interrupted their moment.

"Hey, San! Fancy seeing you here," a chirpy voice exclaimed from behind them.

San and Y/n turned to see a girl from one of San's classes approaching their table. She had a bright smile plastered on her face, and her presence seemed to fill the space between San and Y/n.

"Hi... uh, Jia," San greeted, trying to remain polite but slightly caught off guard.

Jia ignored the slight awkwardness and turned to Y/n, giving her a quick once-over before saying, "Oh, you must be Y/n! San talks about you all the time."

Y/n forced a smile, feeling a tinge of discomfort. "Nice to meet you, Jia."

Jia took the seat next to San without waiting for an invitation, completely oblivious to the atmosphere between San and Y/n. "So, what are you guys up to tonight?"

San exchanged a quick glance with Y/n, silently communicating their desire to continue their private conversation. "Actually, Jia, we were just catching up. It's been a while since we've had a chance to hang out."

Before San could respond, Y/n interjected, "Actually, Jia, we were just finishing up here. It was nice meeting you, but we should probably get going."

Jia looked disappointed but didn't seem to take the hint. "Oh, okay then. Well, maybe we can all hang out sometime soon!"

San shot Y/n an apologetic look before standing up. "Yeah, maybe. We'll see you around, Jia."

As they walked away from the table, Y/n let out a sigh of relief. "That was... unexpected."

San chuckled softly, shaking his head. "Sorry about that. Jia can be a bit... persistent."

Y/n nodded, but a nagging feeling tugged at her heart. "It's just... you never mentioned her before. Is she in your class often?"

San noticed the change in Y/n's tone and paused, realizing her discomfort. "Yeah, she's in a few of my classes. She's friendly and all, but we've never been close like that."

Y/n furrowed her brow slightly, her mind racing with thoughts she couldn't quite articulate. "But she seemed really comfortable around you... sitting so close and all."

San glanced at Y/n, sensing her unease. "Y/n, I promise you, she's just a classmate. She's never been anything more than that."

The tension between them lingered as they walked through the quiet streets, the city lights casting soft shadows around them. Y/n bit her lip, trying to push away the unwelcome feelings of jealousy that were bubbling up inside her.

"I'm sorry," Y/n finally murmured, breaking the silence. "I didn't mean to... I guess I'm just not used to seeing you with other girls."

San nodded, his voice filled with sincerity. "Yes, you. Since we were kids, I've only ever had eyes for you."

Y/n felt a rush of emotions—surprise, joy, and a flicker of disbelief mingled together. "I... I never knew."

This is a more simplified written and less heavy on goals legacy challenge. This legacy challenge was inspired by the Crybaby Whims Legacy Challenge and the Joy of Life Legacy Challenge! You try to keep calm for them and your kids but your past precedes you.

As an art student your world was filled with color and nude models. Whose bodies were art and you painted them beautifully. One day though you never knew could change everything in a terrible way. You meet someone who you think understands you. You date them after a while their true colors shine through and they're dark! You both argue day and night and to not start a fight. You let them seduce you till they get tired and pass out next to you. Your grades start to suffer so you start to avoid them to do what’s best for you. But all that gets thrown out the window when you find out you're going to be a parent! Your narcissist partner reels you back in because of the baby. So you stay but you fear for you and the baby/babies life! Once the baby arrives you make your escape with the baby/babies. Leaving your abusive ex behind you, move into a small home just right for you and your baby/babies. Then you go back to college and finish and become a freelance painter.

Before you know it you're living the teenage dream! But it all ends when you find out that you/person you slept with. One wild night is pregnant! You never planned on your high school years turning out this chaotic! But now the popular teens left you spreading gossip about the pregnancy. So you're left on your own pregnant/going to be a teen parent. What happens now you stop being this pill popper and be yourself again. Starting a podcast about all the pill problems and teen parent struggles you went through. Now it’s up to you if you go and find someone but you have overcome so much at a young age!

(Inspired by Covid 19 pandemic.) 

You have always been a germaphobe but now you're making it through something terrible. You go into the medical field thinking it will be great you’ll help save lives. Well as a Public Health person the whole world's health rest’s on your shoulders. Now that there's a virus spreading you seek shelter in your home. Only going out with a mask you’re an philanthropist person this is not the way you hoped to spend. Your Young Adult life but now you're in charge of finding a way for this disease to be cured! Through all the testing in the lab and multiple reports coming in of deaths. It becomes too much for you to bear so you quit your job. Staying home becoming stir crazy from no social interaction. Suddenly you find that you made the worst mistake of your life. Quitting on all these people who can be saved from the outbreak. So you take care of yourself paint and do other hobbies. Then get back to the daily wear a mask save a life. After a couple years of research your the one that finds a cure! You're the hero and now everyone wants a picture with you! But you stay humble just happy you were able to help. You settle down after it’s all over with one of your fellow Public Health workers. You get married and have kids. But your job never ends by making sure you, your family and the public will be safe from future outbreaks!

Seeing Papyrus before his bravado might be a bit jarring, but the interactions between the brothers more than made up for it to me personally. I really, REALLY enjoyed the way Sans is written here. Today's top story: a community of monsters have joined our town as our newest residents.

Probably my favorite crossover fic idea of all time. Formatted like a WTNV episode, has segments both with AND without the monsters. Marked as incomplete (I'm assuming the author wants to eventually add new vignettes) but the final chapter is a special segment about Chara, Frisk and Flowey that is so flooring and clever it ties the entire work together perfectly either way.

“You made it!” Sarah greeted, throwing her lanky arms around your neck for a long hug. Ellie quickly followed suit, throwing her arms around your waist. Joel met your gaze, his chocolate eyes full of love and warmth at the sight of his favorite people so happy to see each other.

Breaking free from the young women, you turned to embrace Joel. His broad frame wrapped around you in a bear hug, squeezing just enough without hurting you. The scruff along his jaw gently scratched against your neck and cheeks as he peppered your face with kisses.

“Mmm, I missed you,” he breathed in your ear, the little puffs of air tickling the sensitive skin.

“I was only gone a week,” you laughed in response.

It took only an hour to have you officially moved in with Joel and Sarah. The beer went down smoothly, soothing the dryness of your throat as well as the achiness in your bones from driving for so long. Joel leant back against the kitchen island, chocolate eyes drinking you in from head to toe like a man dying of thirst. A flash of heat swept through you, settling in your cheeks and ears. It had only been a week since you’d seen him, but the ache for him pulsed as if it’d been months.

“We’re heading to San Antonio, Dad!” Sarah called, tripping down the stairs with a small tote. Stopping at the bottom of the stairs to find you and Joel staring at each other, she shared a knowing look with Ellie. “Yeah, we’re gonna give you two a few days to get through the honeymoon phase. Glad you’re hear, Brit! See ya!”

Grinning broadly, Ellie added, “Don’t burn down the house and use protection, kids!” The young women were out the door, giggling madly, before either of you could respond.

The moment the door closed behind them, Joel pounced.

His need for you so great, he didn’t bother leading you upstairs to your newly shared bedroom. For the first time in longer than you could remember, you woke up happy everyday and faced your beautiful live with the gratitude it deserved. You were blessed to have the love of a wonderful man, a fascinating career, and the best friends a girl could ask for.

But guess what? San's superhero reflexes kick in. San, quick on his feet, reacted instinctively. In a split second, he reached out, catching her arm to prevent a graceful fall from turning into a less elegant descent, saving her before the floor becomes her next best friend.

"Whoa, easy there," he chuckled, a genuine warmth in his eyes as he helped her regain her balance. "Wouldn't want the flowers to witness a grand entrance like that."

Y/n blushed, a combination of embarrassment and amusement. "Well, they do say a dramatic entrance sets the tone, right?"

San couldn't help but laugh, finding her lighthearted spirit contagious.

"Absolutely. I'm San, by the way, the curator of this floral wonderland. And you are?", He spoke, smiling so wide that his dimples showed.

"Y/n," she replied, her embarrassment giving way to a genuine grin. "I guess I'm the girl who tried to waltz with your flowers and lost."

San joined in her laughter, finding an unexpected delight in her presence. "Nice meeting you.", he said with a genuine smile, the words flowing like poetry from his lips. "Well, Y/n, consider it a unique initiation to my shop. Now, tell me, any particular blooms that caught your fancy?"

"So we're going to continue talking in poetry?", Y/n asked, giving him her Doe eyes which never failed to make any boy shut up.

Now it was San's turn to blush.

Y/n continued to grin, her eyes sparkling with genuine delight. "I usually buy flowers every Monday, and my usual shop closed down recently. This is like stumbling upon a hidden treasure!" Her fingers trailed delicately over the leaves of a blooming orchid as she spoke.

San chuckled softly, appreciating her enthusiasm. "I'm delighted you see it that way. Flowers have a way of revealing themselves when you need them the most. Is there a specific type you're drawn to?"

As Y/n explored the shop, her gaze lingered on a display of elegant lilies. "Lilies have always held a special place in my heart. They symbolize new beginnings, right?"

"Indeed, they do," San replied, his eyes gleaming with understanding. "They embody the language of emotions within petals. Let me create a bouquet that reflects the poetry of lilies for you."

"Thanks, San.", Y/n replied, loving the way his name came out of her lips so effortlessly. Her blush was well hidden from San as he was busy looking for the most perfect flowers for the bouquet.

"So Y/n....", he spoke in a soft tone.

"yes?"

"Is today a day for new beginnings for you, Y/N?", he asked, his eyes hiding a hundred questions he wanted to ask. Will you come here again? What is your favorite place to hang out around here? What is your ideal type? These were type of questions running through his head. But he managed to keep them to himself.

As the conversation unfolded, a subtle connection formed, like the first petal unfurling in the morning sun.

A subtle blush tinged her cheeks as she pondered the poetic notion. "Maybe it is."

As she continued to explore the shop, San found himself captivated by her every movement. Watching Y/N navigate through the blooms felt like witnessing a dance. Her fingers moved with a grace that echoed the delicate nature of the flowers themselves. There was something special about the way she interacted with each petal, as if she could understand the language they whispered. Oh man, She is not going to be just another customer. Y/n's eyes sparkled with curiosity, and San continued, "Every flower holds a story that is waiting to be shared."

San grinned, resonating with the carefree joy she radiated. "Totally get that. They have this power to sprinkle a bit of magic into life."

Y/N nodded, paying for her blooms. "Exactly! They're like tiny happiness boosts you can carry around."

"Spot on," San agreed, presenting the carefully wrapped bouquet. "Hope these add an extra sprinkle of magic to your day."
