MDZS AU Fic Idea

I need an AU fic where Daddy Wei Ting is taking A-yuan to the supermarket.

Wei Ying is randomly going through the aisles trying to trying to get his shopping but his ADHD and the aisles being changed since his last visit are making it hard and he forgot to write a list.

A-Yuan goes missing and he doesn’t notice for a while.

He finds him in the produce aisle clinging to the legs, of a handsome, gorgeous, elegant man.

He’s also having a meltdown due to the changed layout and an unknown little boy clinging to his legs.

Lan Zhan and Wei Ying help each other with their shopping and exchange numbers.

Loki & Angrboda:

Sigyn loves Loki deeply as much as she cares for him! You could even call her a little overprotective at times. She knows he can get into trouble which is why she is the order to his chaos. Their intimate relationship is very much active and that's their way of expressing their love and feelings for one other.

Their communication isn't the best at times and that's mostly because Loki has his struggles, though Sigyn doesn't hold this against him. Even if these struggles sometimes cause them to disagree on things and argue.

Loki doesn't spend much time with his family either because of these struggles, but will make up for it by showering his children in gifts, while his wives receive the night of their lives. They're the definition of opposites attract. Originally not having fallen in love at first sight but it developing over time. Loki and Sigyn originally saw each other as good allies they could use for each other's advantage, but it turned into something more.

Sigyn looks up to Angrboda and is very much in love with the giantess. She admires Angrboda's strength and leadership, supporting her as much as she can and showing her appreciation. Angrboda's life keeps reminding Sigyn a lot about what it was like being one of the Valkyries again, finding that and her very comforting! Angrboda is also very loving but sadly they don't get to see each other that often.

They take their time to spend quality time together. Their relationship is very close emotionally, mostly built up on the gentle love they have towards each other.

Qin, Wei and Enyu:

Wei and Sigyn always got along, despite Wei being hesitant to befriend any of the gods! Maybe it was because they were similar in personality or the fact they were both mothers? Either way, It was like something clicked between them the day Wei stumbled upon Sigyn.

Sigyn also knows Qin and Enyu through Wei and they're all like family. Even better Sigyn is the mother to Enyu's closest friend, Vali. Both really enjoy each other's company for their calm and reserved personalities. Sigyn absolutely adores the young boy, almost feeling like a aunt to him!

Sora & Kentarō:

Since Sora is an adoptive daughter of Odin that would make Sigyn her extended family through Loki. Despite this they are often in contact and Sigyn will watch Sora's interviews to show her support. The two ladies get along very well, mostly because Sora was always such a sweetheart ever since Sigyn married into her family.

Sigyn also finds Kentarō, Sora's son with Susanoo absolutely adorable and has taken on the title as "Auntie Sigyn" from the boy. Sigyn has sworn to herself that she will protect him and Sora, no matter what happens. Because they made her feel like she belonged to their family..

Atticus & Aelius:

After aiding and befriending Atticus, Sigyn soon found herself growing protective over the mortal man, knowing his nature was nothing but pure. All he wanted was to reunite with his lover, Apollo and who was she to deny true love and compassion like that?

But as Atticus’s quest for his Lord's love escalated further, Sigyn soon found herself doing a huge favour for the mortal, something she knew the other gods would be disapproving of, even her husband. She creates a child from Apollo and Atticus’s image, to help ease her friend's longing heart.

The goddess isn't close with the child she created for Apollo and Atticus and was only able to visit when Aelius was still an infant, since Atticus struggled being a single father! But even then, she hope's they're both well, proud and honoured to have been a part of his creation so that Atticus would leave his sorrows behind!

Parvati:

Parvati is very energetic and joyful and quite the opposite of Sigyn at times. Even then, Sigyn doesn't really mind this. When she's seperated from the ones she knows she finds herself holding up conversation with Parvati more than anyone else of because their shared experiences of motherhood. They often flatter and brag to one another!

Brunhilde:

Being her ex-sister who understood Sigyn's decision in giving up her title as a Valkyrie for love to some degree. Sigyn has respect for the Valkyrie even though the two ladies were not close but rather, Brunhilde and Freyja were, Sigyn's mother. Brunhilde saw Freyja as a mentor and role model. Hence why Sigyn's hair accessory that she took after her mother's passing looks similar to Brunhilde's. After Ragnarok started their relationship soured but for reasons that are unknown.

Hrist:

They used to get along when Freyja was still alive. Hrist was very much affected by her death and when Sigyn left the Valkyries for love she felt especially betrayed by Sigyn, still in the process of grieving over their loss. Whenever she is reminded of Sigyn or hears her name being mentioned, Hrist becomes defensive, angry and upset no matter what the situation is. 

Sigyn's feelings about her are mixed, since she had expected out of all the Valkyries, Hrist would support or at least understand her choice. So when she saw the disappointment on Hrist's face, Sigyn never dared look her in the eyes again. Upset too but nonetheless wondering how and why did it have to come to such a difficult situation? 

The two are also relatives but in what way isn't confirmed. Hrist used to help Freyja take care of Sigyn since she was a single mother with the young Sigyn. Which is why it hurt so much more seeing her leave! 

Thrud:

Thrud is not only Sigyn's ex sister and one of the few Valkyries to still stay in close contact with Sigyn. Thrud didn't shame her for choosing love instead of their sisterhood which caused Sigyn to be forever grateful for Thruds' acceptance. And how could Thrud not when she always longing to be loved by someone too?

She was actually filled with more than sadness the day Sigyn retired, she felt determined! She was also there when Sigyn lost her mother, why wouldn't Sigyn be there for her? Their bond is very strong and almost unbreakable! 

Thor:

Sigyn knows Thor and while she secretly is not too fond of him for multiple reasons, such as the fact he hurt Jormungandr, challenged her to a battle once and rejected her advances, all in the past because he didn't read the room. She sees him more as a possible ally when in need and like an extended family you don't really talk to a lot. They don't have a close bond but they both hold great respect towards each other for their abilities on the battlefield.

Odin:

Sigyn wouldn't call what she feels towards Odin as respect but rather, respect out of fear and some resentment for her mothers death. Yes she blames Odin's family for not protecting Asgard better. 

She hasn't seen what he is capable of yet, but she knows just by his vibe and the things she was told that he isn't to be messed with. So in secret has been collecting information about him, not being suspected of anything because she married into the family.

while he expected to be denied, there was still a feeling of disappointment that came with it. wei ying didn't want his help – perhaps didn't trust him enough to be so vulnerable in front of him. and really, who was lan wangji to be upset at another building walls of protection around themselves?

so he nods and allows his hands to fall to his lap. he will not push. his core is beginning to weaken and the pain of his back is starting to get worse, and there is not much time until it will completely usurp the adrenaline in his veins. even still, he will not allow wei ying to lie.

“ you are not fine. ” but there's no malice in his words at all. a hint of sadness, perhaps. at being kept at a distance. “ i will not help you, but you must treat them. a-yuan will be sad to see you hurt. ” perhaps it is a bit of an underhanded tactic, using the little one as a persuasion. should it work, he will deal with the repenting later.

he stands once again, a pained little noise slipping past his lips as he goes. to give him privacy. feet shuffle across the wooden floors to look for fresh robes for the two of them. naturally, they are all white and pale blues. not wei ying's preferred colours, but he could work on getting him some to his taste later. there is a selfish part of lan wangji's brain that wants to see him in his sects colours, in his clothes. he does not think too much on it. ( his ears go pink anyway. )

he takes longer than he really ought to, giving wei ying time to apply any medicine he may need. once enough time has passed, he speaks again.

“ wei ying, i am turning around now. i will not look. ” and he doesn't, eyes firmly held shut as he turns around with fresh robes in his arms. the layout is familiar enough for him to navigate without trouble, so he easily shuffles over to his bed. it isn't until he's dropped the robes on his bed that he realises his predicament.

he cannot dress by himself.

the top half, perhaps. but his bottoms are filthy with blood and dirt and if he attempts to bend to pull them down he thinks he may pass out from the pain. he will NOT get into bed so filthy, and he certainly doesn't have the strength to sleep sitting up on the floor.

lan wangji does not enjoy asking for help. wei ying had grabbed at him to stop him from helping him with his robes – he would not want the situation to be reversed. he is stuck here, staring at the pile of robes on his bed as if they might go on by themselves if he glared at them hard enough.

THERE ARE THINGS that cannot be voiced, but the lump in his throat doesn't feel like a chokehold anymore. Why would he choose to leave, when everything he loves is here? How could he even think about running away, when the ones he keeps in the shattered remnants of his heart are in such pain?

Brave though he always deemed himself, now he is rendered speechless, exasperated as another attempt to reason falls on deaf ears. ❝ You— ❞ and for once, it's Wei Wuxian's turn to be silent, eyes darting to follow the movement (but it must hurt, it must hurt unbearably), and what are shallow flesh wounds anyway? The resentment whispers. Consumes everything that's left. Fails to remind him that, bent and broken, but his body is still human. It still bleeds. It's not eternal. There's nothing more to the Yiling Laozu than smoke and mirrors, skin and bones — yet it's not the sight of his own blood that reopens every cut.

❝ Lan Zhan! ❞ hands jolt up, clasping the other's wrists with frantic determination, if not much strength. It's become instinctive, to avoid touch, unless it can be taken under control somehow, unless it was Wen Qing who'd memorized the constellations of his scars and the contaminated bitterness of his blood. The silence that reigns is too long, too overpowering, before he lets go with an awkward chuckle and runs his fingers to rub the bridge of his nose.

( between the ribs, where Sandu pierced his skin, blossoms another old reminder of his own stupidity — how ironic it is, that the sword that yearned to slash his throat or run through the heart was driven by his own golden core. how ironic it is, that no warmth flows within his hollowed meridians, that the best in their generation willingly reduced himself to less than human, that this little secret of his has to be guarded).

❝ I'm fine. Really, ❞ the look in his eyes is half-haunted, half-pleading, but still warm. The longing isn't gone. There's nothing better to say. ❝ Don't worry about me. ❞
