Fun Facts about Ben Cross

Ben realised they were not cis at the age of 10

They work at a record store

They DJ during their days off for miscellaneous events. They're pretty active in Chicago's art scene.

While Ben doesn't eat chocolate as much as Mello, they like sweet things.

Experimented with pot after they turned 19, mainly to cope with Granddad dying so unexpectedly

They made most of the patches on their favourite jacket, which they have been adding to since they got it (which was when Ben was 13)

Started growing out their hair at 15

Loves many genres of music, and has multiple bins of cds that they saved up to buy/burn

Freshman and Sophomore year of high school was really rough for Ben; they were constantly bullied by a guy named Kevin, and his group of friends. And of course, teachers were of very little help

Kids love Ben! They call them "uncle" and "auntie" which makes them happy

Ben doesn't want kids however. That's something they realised very early on. They see themselves as more of an older sibling/uncle/aunt figure than an actual parent

My insomnia's been so bad 😭 Either can't fall asleep til 4 am or I fall asleep at like 11 pm and wake up at 4-6am :( So frustrating and m tired an it's been so difficult to focus or really regress lately cuz of it 😩 Actually.. 👀 gonna plan a day after I go buy some to just smoke n relax n regress. Make some food and clean a bit in advance, take a long bath, watch some cartoons, color or maybe draw. 🥺 I just can't wait to be all sleepy n lil 🥺😭

working at like a rainbow is freeing for charley. they don't have to worry too much about people misgendering them, or someone to call them out on not being too something that they couldn't be. they could just be. but that still didn't mean it wasn't too much some times, too loud, too many people, too whatever. so they'd taken a break from bartending, sneaking out the back for some fresh air. they hadn't realized someone else was standing there until they spoke up and startled charley. "uh no, i don't smoke." they shake their head slightly, nodding towards the cig in the woman's hands. "at least not those." they reach into the small apron around their waist to pull out a joint. the only reason she'd agreed to this was because jake was at a sleepover. one of her co-workers had suggested they go out that weekend. jo had assumed she'd meant out to dinner or to a movie or something, but when her colleague had given a mischievous smile and suggested this club, jo knew that the younger crowd had assumed she'd turn them down. but joanna torress didn't back down, not even from younger professors and their clubs.

but the drink she'd ordered had been far too sweet, the lighting too harsh, and the music was giving her a headache. so she'd slipped away when the others had gone to the bathroom and escaped into the cool night air, where she instantly reached into her bag for a cigarette and her lighter. she took a couple of drags and felt muscles begin to relax at once. was she too old for this? as a group of college kids who could have been her students tramped across the street and into the line to get into the club, jo realized that she might be too old for this. as she was contemplating this, she felt someone's eyes on her and turned to throw them a look. "what?" she took another drag. "did you want one?"

"You have no idea how many fucking brownies I ate" he stated, as if no proper greeting or preface was necessary. He sounded neither upset nor mad.

From his backpack he took two wrapped large casserole dishes, each with an uncut brownie in them. "I was considering to add weed to them, but everyone else would be mad at me if I did. And I don't know if you could or would eat weed edibles."

They hadn't expected Witch to visit them so soon, granted Eath had done a pretty good job of keeping their friends up to date with their recovery... or whatever this was called. Stuck in a form that resembled their inner demon, but without the unstable magic literally tearing them apart.

A blink of surprise, noting the growl to be that of Rune, the daemon holds their giant hand out for the casserole dishes. The uncut brownie within becoming more of a normal sized brownie for their current doubled size.
