I am sensing...a pattern (pun intended)
Tumblr media
Is this the new gay dress code?
Tumblr media
Not you too, Trin? (thanks for the heads up @respectthepetty!)
Tumblr media
I mean, did the Thai tv series industry buy these shirts in bulk?
Tumblr media
Hey!
Tumblr media
And will a fourth colour variation appear next, I wonder?
Tumblr media
Edited to add - not another colour variant...but a reappearance of the charcoal stripes
Tumblr media
AND the parents are now getting in on the act:
Tumblr media
Who will wear it next?
Edit: Look, I didn't think this one would pop up again...but it did. And on Top of all people. Not so Top Tier now are we?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yes, Top, yes I do...
Oh look! It has made another reappearance a year after the last one. Poor Uncle Somkid, getting all the Only Friends hand-me-downs
Tumblr media
FYI this post has been re-made here in the format of all my communal wardrobe posts.

I come bearing a gift. Imagine Lighter getting married to his s/o. A slight part 2 from my last ask.
I don’t think ZZZ will ever show how people in the Outer Ring celebrate weddings, but this is Lighter. He would want a simple and sweet wedding for him and his fiancé with all their close friends and family. Of course we don’t know anything about Lighter’s family (ZZZ devs drop Lighter’s lore soon), but we do know that he does think of the Sons of Calydon as his family. If you didn’t ask the girls first, Lighter would have Caesar as his best woman/maid-of-honor with Lucy, Burnice and Piper as his bridesmaids, he can include Belle as a bridesmaid too. If you did ask first, then Billy is of course his best man because he was Lighter’s predecessor, Lucy’s boars, and Wise if he asked, are his groomsmen with Big Daddy being his parental figure to walk him down the aisle. And Casa is the wedding officiant because she’s the mayor.
You have your family and friends as your bridesmaids and groomsmen with your parents happily walking you down the aisle. They love Lighter as family, bad past, scars and all, because they know he’ll always be loyal to you and love you till death do you apart. They brought a ton of wedding gifts.
The day of the wedding was beautiful and had no drama at all because the Sons of Calydon, especially Billy, had threatened everyone who dared to ruin yours and Lighter’s wedding with death. You two said your wedding vows, Lighter almost cried as he recalled the moment you accepted him despite his past and that he’ll love you forever because of that and you actually crying after telling him that he was the best person you’ll ever know. The instant the marriage was sealed with a kiss, there were cheers, happy tears and multiple congratulations from everyone. Lighter and you were now a happy married couple and the world felt brighter than ever for Lighter.
(Idk if I should do a reception part. I just Lighter to have a happy ending)
THIS TIME I PROMISE I WONT ADD ANYTHING BECAUSE THIS IS JUST REALLY SWEET ARGSHSKSBSKAH
everyone else enjoy because i’m already eating this up and giggling, kicking my feet hehe

@earlgrey24 you've inspired me
Hi my name is Chevalier François-Marie Arouet de Volatire Gentilhomme de Chambre du Roi. I like writing satire (that's why I got put in the Bastille) and I have a long grey wig à la Duc de Nevers and sparkly dark eyes that everyone talks about. A lot of people tell me my style looks like Louis 14 (AN: if u don't know that is get da hell out of here!). I'm not related to the Duc de Richelieu but I wish I was because he's a major fucking hottie. I live in Prussia but I'm French. I have pale white skin. I'm also a poet, and I write for the Comédie-Française which should really be called the Theâtre-Française where my plays are the most famous (I wrote my first one when I was nineteen). I'm basically nobility (in case you couldn't tell) and I wear a lot of lace and wig powder. All of my clothes are retro because it's cooler. For example today I was wearing a long pink and gold waistcoat, grey stockings, a blue silk coat with matching trousers and long lace cuffs reaching to my fingertips, a powdered wig, and my red Louis 14 shoes. I was walking outside Sanssouci. It was cloudy and I was freezing. Maupertuis stared at me and I put my middle finger up at him.

For the questions you’d like best asked!!!
Honestly I have no idea how I missed this, but thank you so much for sending me an ask! (For reference to anyone who may be curious, it is from this ask game)
What are 3 things you'd say shaped you into who you are?
Two of these came easily, but I had to do some surprisingly serious thinking to figure out the third one. Anyhow, the list is thusly:
My family
My religion
John Wayne movies.
The first two are definitely like the big things that have shaped who I am, but the Duke definitely also makes the list. Significantly further down, though. Anyhow.
Thanks so much for the ask! You sent it long enough ago now that I don't remember if you reblogged it to get asked a few yourself, so let me know if you are interested and I will definitely send some your way!

OMG you talked about Haley and Andy in your last post and I feel so vindicated now. I thought I must be the only one who had a problem with that one silly romance from that million season comedy show not being canon, so now I'm just happy there are others like me out there lol. Do you have any HCs for them?
It wasn't just a silly little romance. They were mutually supportive! Andy encouraged Haley to go after her dreams. He saw that she was smart and driven, and he didn't make fun of her that her ambitions were fashion centered! She inspired him to aim higher, too! Even if it meant pursuing his dreams in a different state. They were the best couple on the show (which is probably why the writers couldn't let them be endgame. Can't have a couple that actually functions as a team🙄).
So, I've been kicking around an idea for a fix it fic for Haley. She's having trouble finding her footing at NERP. After the skin patch incident, she isn't sure if it's the right job for her, but since she doesn't have anything else lined up, she's hanging in there until she figures out her next steps. She's dating Dylan again- but she does not get pregnant. He's making not-so-subtle subtle comments about how since he's starting his nursing career and making decent money, it might be time to think about settling down. Haley is dodging the hints, frustrated at herself because Dylan is nice. He loves her. He supports her pursuing her career, even though he's also down for her following Claire's footsteps to become a SAHM. She's also freaking out because she's pushing 30 (she's about to turn 25, but it is still Haley). Why not think about getting married?
But whenever she thinks about marrying Dylan, she breaks out in hives. She thinks it's some lingering effect from the NERP patch, but her dermatologist can't figure out why it's happening. After a particularly rough day at work, she needs someone to talk to. Her mom is the obvious choice, but she's out of town for work, so she goes to her grandparents house instead, thinking maybe a dip in the pool will help. Jay is out with Joe, Mitch and Manny for a father/son trip, and Gloria is home when Haley swings by. They talk and Dylan comes up. Haley ends up telling Gloria about his increasingly frequent hints, and that she and Dylan have been dancing around this for a decade, and they keep coming back to each other so maybe it's time to just take the plunge. Then Gloria asks if Haley and Dylan are really drawn to each other, or if it's just that their relationship is comfortable- like the ratty old college football jersey Jay refuses to get rid of. A nice reminder of the past, but something that needs to stay in the back of the closet and never see the light of day again.
It's a lot to think about. So Haley goes home only to find that her father has a guest. Andy's back in town, and looking to start his own real estate firm.
A lot happens after that. Andy going after starting his own business inspires Haley to revisit her old ventures, and she restarts her blog. Then she launches her own lifestyle website. She gets fired from NERP for opening a competing site, but she doesn't give up on it. Andy sees her working hard and is thrilled for her. They even start co-working in the Dunphy's kitchen as they try to get their respective businesses off the ground.
Dylan stops asking her to move their relationship forward, but Haley doesn't notice until he asks her to speak one night. He's taking a position as a traveling nurse, and he's going to be living out of a trailer he and his friends are fixing up. He tells her he thinks they're holding each other back. He came to the same conclusion as Gloria, only his analogy is an old lumpy mattress he'd slept on since he was a kid until recently. It disintegrated and he had to buy a new one. He thought he'd never find another mattress as comfortable, but the very first one he tried, he fell asleep immediately for a solid three hours until the salesman woke him up and told him the store was closing. He realized that his old mattress wasn't actually comfortable, it was just all he knew. And he thinks that his relationship with Haley is that mattress- not that she's an old lumpy mattress. She's still hot, just not the girl for him. So he wants to give them both a chance to find their mattress.
Haley's website takes off. It becomes part fashion, part travel, part lifestyle hub. She spins it off onto YouTube and TikTok (she's an early adopter). Alex helps her make sure that her body products are at least safe, if not effective, so no more skin patch incidents. Soon she's getting sponsorship deals and collab offers. As she gets even more popular, she's hired as a celebrity stylist. Her first big gig is styling Zendaya for a red carpet event. She makes plans to move to LA. She tells Andy about all of it, and he is rooting her on at least as hard as her family. At the end of the story, when Haley is preparing her move to Hollywood, Andy gives her some exciting news. With Phil's help, he's sold his first property in Santa Monica, and he has enough listings lined up to start a little boutique business, backed by Phil's company. They joke about being neighbors, then roommates. Then they finally realize that the feelings between them never actually died. The story ends on them getting back together with STRONG And they lived happily ever after vibes.

He'd thought, if he was the one to do it, it would bring him some measure of relief. She would be gone, excised like necrotic tissue, and he would be free to return to his previous state. But he realized, hunched in on himself with his brother's corpse and the rapidly deteriorating girl, he would never escape them. Another brother whose death he'd caused. Another woman who would be better off without him.
He could not murder someone else he loved.
She wasn't gentle. Not even on her deathbed. She would never beg him to save her. Not the way Tyler had. Klaus had been reminded then of the first time he'd had any real contact with her. She'd been a snarling, spitting, hissing creature, ordering Tyler not to take the doppelganger's blood, even though it was his only chance to live. And he almost hadn't. Klaus had seen the hesitation in the boy, his desire to follow his girlfriend's orders, even if it meant his own death. He'd trusted her, her passion and guidance.
The only thought he'd had of her then was how he might use the couple against each other. She'd been nothing, a pretty face in a town full of pretty faces, until he'd begun investigating her utility and realized she'd positioned herself as Tyler's alpha without meaning to. Klaus had barely needed the sire bond to nudge Tyler into revealing everything. He'd been eager to tell of her virtues. How she'd taken control of him when he couldn't do it himself. Explained the little she'd known, despite being ordered to the contrary by the Salvatores. She'd stayed by his side throughout the agony of his first full moon, in spite of the danger to herself. Wept for him and held him while he writhed, the only succor throughout hours of cursed torment.
The more he'd learned of her, the more his thoughts turned to her potentiality. His first turned hybrid, formed and shaped by a vampire lover who was precisely the correct combination of compassionate and despotic. If he could have swayed her, appealed to her natural inclination to both protect and control, he'd have had the perfect captain for his army.
Of course, he'd then gone head-to-head with Stefan and lost his temper. Thought himself so far above his old friend, whose heart bled him of his sanity. What a fool Klaus had been, thinking himself immune. Perhaps, it had been self-preservation, even more than he'd realized, when he'd ordered Tyler to bite her.
"So, you–what? You can't promise that. You have whims! And the worst temper ever."
"Because I can't!" He set the cup in his hand down before he could give into the urge to throw it. To cause some manner of satisfying destruction. "Once. In over a thousand years, I have turned off my humanity one time, when Katerina escaped and I failed to break my curse. Do you understand that?"
By the frown on her face and the furrow in her brow, he knew she did not. "But I thought only younger vampires could turn it off."
"Yes," he agreed. "Typically. The older the vampire, the more difficult the process, buried as the original superego becomes under time. It requires an extraordinary set of circumstances. Despair beyond reckoning. A near complete loss of hope. Of self, even."
"No," she denied, shaking her head. "You wouldn't have."
There were moments when he cursed her cleverness, her unwitting insightfulness. Even when he led her there, her knowing of him was still an uncomfortable ache.
"I would have."
"You wouldn't! Not over me."
"Yes," he insisted. "I would. It was already coming. I could feel it. A creeping chill of the spirit. As you faded, the numbness spread. Like hypothermia. I've nothing left to look forward to. That's the truth. For a thousand years, I had a mission. Protect my family. Break my curse. Build my army. Kill my father. Straightforward, really, for all its complications. And now I'm done. It's all resolved itself one way or another, for good or ill. What else is there for me?"
"You can't make me your only reason to go on." Her hands flexed between them, as though she wanted to grab him and shake the foolishness out of him. "People can't be that for each other. I'm just me! I'm not– it's not supposed to work like that."
"Why shouldn't it? We're not people, Caroline. We're monsters carved from our mortality. In time, I will find new endeavors. There will be more threats, more enemies to sink my teeth into. But for now?" Klaus leaned towards her, looming despite their similar heights. Her eyes were wide, reflexive breaths coming shorter in her agitation, but he did not stop, as merciless in this as she had ever been with him. "You wanted to understand why you no longer fear for yourself. Instinct. It's as simple as that. The monster inside knows there is an even more terrible creature here to protect you, even from itself." He lifted his hand to her face and hovered above her temple, wanting to memorize her--the shape of her eyes, the line of her delicate nose, the cut of her stubborn chin--with his fingertips, and when she did not flinch away, let himself have the pleasure of touching her hair and brushing his thumb along her cheekbone. "You will not end. I will not allow it."
She took his wrist and squeezed it hard enough to grind the bones together, the pain a distant thing, an anchor well below the waves, tying him to her, to there and then. Rested her opposite hand on his chest, over his heart, where it ran with a wolf's blood, digging like she might reach in and touch it, grip it in her strong, capable fingers.
If she wanted his heart, she could have it. She could take it, if that was what she needed. He would let her try.
"They forget," she whispered, a secret between them, "how old you are. They see this face and it makes them forget. Even Stefan does and he should know better by now.”
He told her they were the same, had known it since she told him to go to hell, as much as she could manage, anyway, and sank her teeth into his arm. He hadn't dripped imperious blood into her mouth as he stood above her. Hadn't even looked for a glass. The second time she needed his blood, the sheer perversion of the act was compounded by an added element of narcissism he hadn't quite noticed the first time. It was there, though. Would she think him mad if he told her killing her felt like killing himself? Her murder was his suicide.
"I don't,” she continued. “I never have. Not once. I always remember. Even when I'm playing everyone's favorite distraction. Even when you're playing awkward and charming.” She leaned in even closer, still holding him against her cheek, the palm between them trapped by their combined weight, her searchlight eyes so near his own, but infinitely more brilliant. “But I really need you to stop being so weird about this.”

Will you ever write any more of this is our place, we make the rules? It's my favourite series ever. I've read it so many times already!!
Thank you for saying that! It really means a lot, and brings so much joy to my heart to hear people say they enjoyed my writing! 🥰
And to answer your question, overall - I would say I consider the series to be complete. I feel like I told the story I wanted to tell. There are definitely headcanons, small details, cut scenes, etc. from that fic-verse that I've sometimes shared with people who have asked without expanding into a full fledged sequel/prequel/inter-quel(?).
That being said, never say never! I really enjoyed writing that whole series. And there is a tentative 'sequel' that I've on and off played around with, writing some scenes here and there, since finishing the series. It's called "Architectural Digest: Inside Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc's Monaco Penthouse" and is basically a celebrity home tour (AD really makes videos of these!) of our favourite retired couple showing off their weird ass home, which is filled with mementos of their time together and shit they've collected through their travels/competition years, etc. Like the poster in the guest bathroom teaching the differences between the Singapore vs. Monaco vs. Indonesia vs. Poland flags ("because Max gets confused all the time," teases Charles, while Max ducks off camera to hide his blush). And the 'bull mounting horse statue' that Lando bought for Max next to the 'bull sucking horse dick painting' Carlos bought for Charles as wedding gifts (Max: "WTF, who told you we're getting married?" Carlos: "This isn't your wedding?! Lando said -" Max: "This is our BIRTHDAY PARTY." Carlos: "Oh FFS, Lando, why am I wearing a tux?! ... Well, um, happy birthday?").
Who knows? Maybe one day I'll have enough scenes written and polished to share? 😅

the friesmuseum in leeuwarden had such a lovely exhibition on wedding dresses. very informative, immersive with the way everything was spread out, and a really engaging opening day.

even got to try on wedding dresses, make corsages, and "get married" myself !! definitely an exhibiton with character, almost reminiscent of the versace exhibiton at the groninger museum, which was such a pleasant delight as well. when playfulness intersects with intellect, fashion is born
