Synopsis:

Beatty, a weak squirrel shapeshifter born into a lion family. Because of that, I grew up, abused in my aunt’s home in the Capital. When I told my only friend and fiancé, the Second Prince, that I’d be leaving to realize my dreams, “Litér, you bastard…!” I died from his poisonous fangs. When I opened my eyes again, I returned back to my childhood, to the moment before I got entangled with the Second Prince. What do you need when you’re young? Speed. I immediately escaped with just my body and set off to my father, the Lion Duke’s territory. Though I probably won’t be welcomed, if they take into consideration the incredible secret, which will only be discovered in the future, that I possess, then maybe they won’t kick me out… “Welcome, my lady!” “My God! When did you get so tall…?” “” Milady’s walking on those cute little feet!” ……Huh? Why are they welcoming me like this? Is that really my statue?

Thoughts:

Designed to tug at the heart strings, this manhwa has three great things and one bad. The great things include, glorious art, cute babies, and a solid plot. The bad thing is the atrocious translation. Still, the five chapters I read convinced me to carry on because I really need to see that aunt die. Or hurt. Plus, the squirrel baby is cute.

Today is a great day for WFA

This was amazing. I loved it with my entire heart. I was scared last week when it ended with them talking about patrolling, but I was very happy. Everyone agreed with very fair terms.

Steph is like, "I hereby move that we disband the Bruce Can Kick Rocks Committee on a provisional basis". Bruce is pissed and says "The what committee?" which I love. It's funny. But it gets better: Dick says, "Don't ask questions. You don't want answers, old man." Bruce replies, "I'm not that old." Damion also calls Bruce old and that's funny.

This is my favorite part: After the meeting, Bruce an Dick go out into the hallway to go eat I think. I'm not sure, I'm to lazy to check. Bruce says "I was [angry] but... you kept them together you kept them safe. You gave them what they needed when I couldn't- When I wouldn't."

Dick answers with, "I can't take all the credit, you know. I had an incredible mentor who became like a second father to me. He is the reason I became the man I am today. His name was Clark Kent. I owe him so much." Bruce says, "I'm calling my lawyers. You're disowned." And Dick laughs.

I love them. I love WFA. I love Selena saying she's going to teach Tim how to rob a jewelry sore. And I love Damion and Bruce going out to patrol together. dc

Wakfu The Great Wave - Chapter 12

Hic sunt dracones...

... and beware of spoilers, amphibians, Trypophobia and overuse of gif.

Me, watching some NPC blame Yugo & his people for the "sins of the Mother" for the nth time :

Grougalorasalar is so out of line in this chapter! Even that luscious hair and those defined abs don't blind me to his faults!

The audacity of Rasalar to imply those artefacts don't belong to Yugo, Adamaï and co. I'll admit that the Eliasphere and Eliacube are from the Mechasms (stolen, given, rented or whatever the current canon says) but the DOFUS ?! The Dofus Eliatropes are literally those kids' spawn points ! What are they supposed to do when their siblings are still incubating?

Here's your daily reminder that Yugo is living his best Explicit Married Life with his baby siblings stuck on his chest and at least two of them will remember all they could perceive from their Dofus once they're out... but who's judging?

Rasalar has no mercy. Everyone is catching strays today! Let Qilby rest in peace, he's back in his Dofus now. That reptile is so rude! Did he even know any other Dofus Eliatrope to talk about this family like that? I would have loved to see a verbal battle between Qilby and Rasalar. The sass would have been 📈📈

My, this dragon really said "I hate you and your entire bloodline" in 10k words or more. He had been preparing his diss track since Ogrest spat out his Dofus. You know Mewing Lizard was just waiting for Yugo to grow up just to trash him without being accused of bullying kids. Bro had so much resentment toward Yugo and the eliatropes, you'd think he'd taken lessons from Oropo, the poster boy for daddy issues. Is it Rasalar's Euphoria era or something? Was his name Lamar all along ?

In all fairness, it makes sense for a Twelvian to be so against the eliatropes being on the planet. These artefacts and some Eliatropes caused chaos all over the World of Twelve for centuries. Yugo's edgy alter ego had some involvement in Ogrest's Chaos and Nox's vain project to use the Eliacube. Then, there was the whole mess with the necromes and now, it's almost confirmed that Goddess Eliatrope had a hand in the death(?) of all the Twelvian gods. Not that they were much involved to begin with, apart from creating half-gods. How very Olympian of them!

I might get hate for this but, the Twelvian rulers were right to demand the Eliatropes and all their inventions leave the World of Twelve (Seasons 2 and 4).

The monarchs had more to lose keeping the Eliatropes on the planet. Ignoring the more peculiar concerns like where to put all those kids (back when there were thousands of them in S2), who would pay for all this and such, national security would have been the top argument to kick the Eliatropes out. The Twelvian Council had "proof" that the Eliatropes were a threat to the local population, and that was without knowing Oropo's origins and his involvement in Ogrest's Chaos. As rulers, they are accountable for the lives of thousands (current and future generations). Their duty would call for those rulers to deal with the problem asap. Because, if they didn't, the population would be sure to remind them of said duty (riots, vigilantism, civil unrest, coup...).

Apart from late King Oakheart, the monarchs had no deep involvement with the Eliatropes, no positive interaction not tainted by a bad first impression. All they knew was that their respective kingdoms were put in danger because some "wakfu-powered alien children" and their "long-lost, overbearing, self-righteous and possibly unstable" Goddess Mother had decided to crash-land there and open the door to the Necrome menace.

Since the Eliatropes cannot leave the planet without draining it of Wakfu (Season 2, Qilby), keeping the artefacts out of reach from both the Eliatropes themselves and the Twelvians would be the next best thing. It seems Rasalar might be justifying his actions with this thought.

HOWEVER, I disagree with the idea of giving away the Eliatrope collectables to Rasalar. So far, no one has proven worthy of properly using the Elia-artefacts or even keeping them safe.

On one hand, the Twelvians are easily manipulated or tempted into misusing any powerful artefact like they already did with the Primordial Dofus, the Eliacube or Shushu weapons (e.g. Nox, Ogrest, Toross on his planet, Pinpin and other Shushu Guardians). The Primordial Dragons and their Guardians would lose these items, like they often do with their own Dofus (Grougalorasalar & his siblings). Master Joris helped in hiding those treasures away (OAVs) but failed because of Oropo's brotherhood. Regardless, he is currently the ambassador of Bonta, whose queen dislikes Eliatropes. What would he do, should the Bonta queen and queen consort command him to hand over the items?

On the other hand, the Eliatropes, the rightful owners of most if not all these Eliatrope collectables, don't have the cleanest track record either. Qilby is out of commission for some time, but nothing says for sure he won't try to use the Eliacube again, even with his last-minute "redeeming arc". With some Eliatropes living among a population with mixed opinions about them, who is to say one of the Eliatropes won't turn into the next Qilby, Oropo or Bouillon in a few years or in a few generations?

Adamai seems to have good decision-making skills but most of it lies with his fear - fear of losing control, of making the wrong decision. He is so unsure that he'd rather not act because he also fears what Yugo would do with the powerful items (e.g. OAVs and Season 3).

Yugo is...Yugo. He has matured a lot since Season 1, but, he mostly thinks with his heart. From this, he would act on what he believes is right, while pushing aside the very real and often negative consequences of his choices and actions. He is a brave warrior and overall a kind person...but his very dichotomic view on right and wrong could make him a questionable ruler when political acumen is preferred over sheer might.

Right now, Yugo is still reeling from his confrontation with Oropo and the fight against the Necromes. With the tasks of caring for two kingdoms, maybe we'll see him make those hard decisions. However, as he is now, I cannot imagine Yugo not using the Eliasphere & Eliacube to try and "be a hero", if push comes to shove. The webtoon made that PG-13 plot armour disappear, opening the door to not only some Yumalia fun but potentially to explicit death and gore. This means that, in the webtoon, Yugo with his current mindset could try to "save everyone" only to fail miserably.

Yet, the webtoon has just begun. There is still time for some kind of evolution for his character development. Although, given the title "The Great Wave" and the state of the world in Waven, I'm not holding my breath.

As long as he doesn't end up alone on a planet destroyed by his own hubris, Yugo is good to go!

What I don't understand is…why now? It's been months (?) since the Battle against the necromes. Why does Rasalar want to talk, scheme and let out his grievances now that everything is relatively quiet? Is it because it took time to reunite all the Primordial Dofus? Was he spying on Yugo and the others to gauge their strength before attacking? Was he on his training arc to master the Primordial Dofus before confronting the Eliatrope twins?

The audacity of this walking crocodile bag! Who does he think he is ? I know Spicy Lizard didn't just demand those sacred Elia-McGuffins! I know the genius who lost his Dofus, not once but twice, didn't just ask the Eliatrope artefacts and even added a tight deadline and a menacing debt collector (goth queen Julith 🖤).

That guy?! Who would give anything so dangerous to the very dragon who couldn't keep his Dofus safe from fusing with a baby (Maître Joris) and later could only watch as a crying toddler (Ogrest) gobbled the egg down? Be for real !

And now Rasalar is threatening people ?! This guy needs to disappear TODAY ! I'm saying this as a totally unbiased person who has no favourite at all. If this dried-up reptile hurts my beloved child Amalia or little Grougal and Chibi !

One too many people have been talking big just because they got some Kinder eggs stuck on their back !

How are they so loud, when they look like this?!

Tell me this is not what dark!Adamaï, Toross and Rasalar looked like? Embarrassing!

On a side note, Rasalar sacrificed all these villagers to revive The Butcher of Brakmar only to use her as his Uber driver?

Anyway, as usual, the art is fantastic and the pace is great. All those cameos from the animated seasons, making me all teary-eyed and stuff. My boy Nox ! 😭😭😭

I'm looking forward to this new wave of drama! Hopefully, more character development will come for the non-Iop cast. 😒

Wow. Just WOW. I hardly ever see a male yandere sub, and one made so well????? Fr the power dynamic is done exceptionally well here, i like how he has a higher position but is such a pathetic sub ;3

This manhwa may not be too everyone’s taste (a more kinky audience) but if u follow me youre probably in the right target anyway hehe

I didnt like how other characters were written (except for the mc and ml) because i feel like we’re meant to be getting an idea that everyone beside mc is dumb and has no sense whatsoever in them. Its fun as a comedic part, but i always appreciate a bit more realistic approach:))

We get a fair share of smut, although i wish there would be more. When im writing this there are 29 chapters which is heartbreaking to me because I’m soooo curious what will happen (porn for plot).

Also, mc’s tits are huge as a sidenote hehe

Taking a look at each chapter cover from the 2nd volume ✨️

Alright so from the looks of it, Yugo seems to be doing fine? Last time we saw him, he was coughing up blood for dear life with Adamaï and getting jumped by daddy Grougalorasalar. So chances are, he might just be better now.

However, let's not get our hopes up.

This shot of Yugo could either be a flashback of some conversation he had with someone, or he could have very well gotten better thanks to Grougalorasalar after all. If it's the latter, then it would explain why Yugo looks pissed. He'd learn that it was Grougalorasalar's idea to have tried poisoning him AND his wife. Knowing this, Yugo would totally be in the right to be infuriated by the dragon's killing attempt and for realizing that he might have just done all of this to cause some shit for fun (since we know that black dragons are the type to cause chaos for the hell of it).

This is probably the second part of the first chapter since the webtoon format has a way of cutting a chapter in half. We've seen this to be the case since the manga format glued the two webtoon chapters together.

So whatever Grougalorasalar is saying to Yugo and Adamaï, their problems with the poison must've been cured or, at the very least, been repressed a bit.

JULITH WILL HAVE MORE SCENES YES ‼️‼️‼️

I hope she gets to talk with Amalia in this chapter given how ironic it would be for Julith, someone who lost her lover and expected Amalia's to have met the same fate.

I never thought we'd see Dathura in the manga but omg I'm so glad she's here!! 💕💕

Given that the chapter cover doesn't show too much, I'm almost certain that she has become part of the Tree of Life in some way shape or form. So even if the royal osamodas family would've taken care of the kingdom (in their own...'special' way), then Dathura would've always been there as a guardian for the tree. She, out of everyone here, deserves to be near it at all times because not only is she a sadida demigoddess, but she's also a vessel for conserving a portion of Sadida's power which makes her overqualified to even be there and yet just as deserving.

But as much as I like her, seeing her here doesn't mean good news, and we might get to hear something from her that could potentially be far worse than the royal osamodas family actually holding any relevance.

Okay this is where shit gets too weird and random for me to actually try to guess what's going on.

Joris' face here is....weird. Like actually way too weird to think that this is a genuine face he would make. We've never seen him make that face before, and that makes me think of two possible reasons as to why he may look like that: 1) He's possessed by Grougalorasalar (since he was a vessel for him back then) or by something else entirely. 2) This is a random gag scene and he just happened to look a bit awkward like that.

Regardless of what the context could be, we can all agree that this is not an expression he'd make so easily. There has to be a reason.

Uh....This is either a dragon or a lower beast. I'm not sure who this is exactly since they don't seem to ring any bells on my end, but if anyone has any clues, it'd be really helpful. Either way, this is someone new, and I can't tell if they're on the side of Yugo, against him, or just uncaring or neutral about the entire situation.

I just don't want them to be someone as hateable as the osamodas family. I don't wanna have a weekly migraine ever again.

Hmm this is most likely a new character as well but unlike the other one, I don't think anyone has ever seen this one before.

I'm leaning more into a male ecaflip since the mouth is shaped like a curved smile which is often used for krosmoz's felines. But that is actually just a major stretch and I'm just assuming the race too. They look at bit deranged though so....I'm gonna bet they're very neutral in a dangerous way (like they could side with anyone at anytime as long as it benefits them).

We got another shot of Yugo but he seems to be looking much better here. I'm glad that the poison seems to have taken a backseat and not be a massive problem in the ass now that there's more shit to worry about (like what? Idk lol and I'm not ready for it)

I know I'm such a huge yumalia fan but you can't blame me for wondering what is up with Amalia in this shot when she looks so cute like this!! (I think she's also blushing 🥰)

She looks caught off guard and has a soft look in her eyes. Not to mention that her hair seems to be down? Which implies that she's not working right now and could be in bed or....in the shower.

I'M ASSUMING THE SHOWER TOO CUZ ANKAMA RECENTLY TWEETED A YUMALIA MEME THAT HAD SHOWER INVOLVED and Cathiane (the great wave manga artist) replied to it with a playful tone about how she was panicking about the implication!!!

When the chapter gets unlocked, I hope that it gets labeled as 'public advised' like how it did with the first chapter. So that if the label is actually there, I'LL IMMEDIATELY ASSUME THAT IT'S A YUMALIA SHOWER LOVE SCENE HSAKKSLSLSLSLZLALSLSLALALAPDPDOD9WIEOEOEP-

I just hope the 19th chapter IS a steamy one just for her hair being untied. Because according to what we've seen from the manga so far, she always puts her hair up and only lets it down when she's sleeping or getting fucked lol

Even though this may not showcase a specific character in the cover, let's not forget that the last chapter from the first volume ended us on a massive cliffhanger. From what we can tell, this is a soldier from Bonta who's stopping someone from entering the throne room (most likely) or a very equally important room. Whoever the person who got stopped by the soldier may be, they're going to be a massive problem in the third volume which will also give us another annoying cliffhanger in this current volume.

Thoughts:

Excellent in all the ways that matter. The art is gorgeous, the story is incredibly readable. I appreciate Ashtarte's continued anger at her family. She doesn't immediately forgive them because that's the right thing to do when they treated so so atrociously. The glimpse of something sinister at work is intriguing. I'm not looking forward to the romance because I like the priest guy (the blonde) and how sincere he is in his love for the MC but eh, hearts will break. Definitely recommended.

Literally vanilla. I like reading the fudged up in the dark psychological genre the most, so it already tells something about my tastes.

I Love Amy: The Coolest Webcomic I’ve Ever Read

⚠️MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD!!! I TRIED TO BE AS VAGUE AS POSSIBLE⚠️

Usually I’m extremely picky with webcomics, as I’m not afraid to drop them the moment I lose interest. So when I say this webcomic is interesting, it’s INTERESTING.

In fact, it may be one of my favorite ones.

“I Love Amy” is a webcomic released under Peanutoon back in 2022. It follows Bibi Reden, a cutesy girl with a bunny motif who has an obsessive crush on a boy named Peter. Once she finds Amy Lee, a shy girl in her grade talking to him, Bibi immediately befriends her and tries to get Amy to help her get with Peter. But plot-twist…they fall in love with each-other instead.

Psychological horror, drama, romance, and comedy? I’m hooked.

My first impressions were that it was gonna be a stereotypical yandere story, with Bibi set with the motive to KILL Amy in the beginning for talking to her crush. But it’s much more than that.

Bibi is a canon psychopath, who portrays traits of the disorder that are commonly expressed. But even so, the author definitely did their research. Bibi is low on empathy, has a tendency to lie, and can’t decipher right from wrong. But unlike contrary belief, she not incapable of love; she just loves people in her own special way, wanting to “keep them forever.” This is shown how she obsesses over Peter, and then later on, Amy.

What makes this series amazing is that her disorder is not her only “personality trait.” (Which by the way, disorders aren’t.) Bibi is very energetic, cheerful, and sticks to her ideals. She’s unique and is still able to think about others (or those she likes at least). Bibi is so well-written, how could you not fall in love with her? And speaking about love, this is where her love interest comes in.

Amy Lee is the definition of “plain-“ until you look a little bit deeper.

After a traumatic event involving her mother as a child, Amy lives with her aunt. Though she is loved and cared for in her current household and those around her, she still exhibits clear symptoms of PTSD. This causes her to be socially anxious and withdrawn, showing more signs of a social phobia than just pure introversion. But, she remains kindhearted and loyal. Amy is very down to earth too- a trait that’s personally to die for.

With Bibi’s eccentric personality and Amy’s closed off persona, they are like night and day. So, how could two different people possibly fall in love? Simple; naturally, like any other person. Even with their complexities, they are still able to love each-other whole-heartedly.

The webcomic also deals with themes about the effects of trauma, friendship issues (which I will get into another time), and sheds light onto family issues and grief. For such a cutesy-art style comic, it deals with every topic in such a unique and accurate way that I was really impressed.

So please, give this webcomic a shot!!!

Yes! We got Steph and Jason. I love those two together.

Well, that's not the start. Bruce and Damion are cute together and I liked how Bruce was trying to apologize but couldn't really figure out the words to say. When Dick came though the coms and told Bruce what to say made me laugh a little.

But then we got one of the best duos in comics: Jason Todd and Stephanie Brown. I want to see them, as Stephanie said "annoy him so hard he'll be begging to go to prison". Them teasing Babs about her mom mode (as I'm calling it) coming out is cute and I love it. But the best part was when it referenced Episode 66: No Doors Allowed with Jason saying they were going to simply walk through the last door.

I liked this episode because it was able to tie in the emotion of the Joker Era to the funny sitcom style of season one and two.
