to explain: on easter monday the boys hit girls with a braided willow whip, which is supposed to keep them young, and in return they give the boys easter eggs (sometimes they also add a ribbon to the whip)
it’s a pretty unique easter tradition, so aside from it being silly and fun, i also wanted to share it (because im czech)
an AU of sorts where everything is the same but Wuya tried a little harder to keep Jack as her minion-er apprentice, and what says more than 'we are a team' than coordinated outfits?
or just me wanting to dress Jack in vaguely more chinese clothes i guess lol

here's what Moon was rocking before Clip started making clothes:
after their PizzaPlex went under, the DCA bois had to figure out a lot of things, one being: clothes. unfortunately, Moon's really big, so he struggled to find things that fit him and were comfortable. the onesie is the first thing he found that fit him and made him feel really cozy. so he still wears it at home (he prefers comfy clothes at home anyways) when he needs a pick-me-up.
of course, he can't work at the salon in a bunny onesie, so here's what Clip made him (under Sundrop's direction):
Moon does prefer comfy clothes, but he has to admit, sometimes he likes the attention these clothes get him. he's iffy about them though, he feels that they show too much of him and he prefers the specific kind of comfort that comes from being an amorphous bundle of coziness.
eiffel and lovelace have approximately 80% similar personal styles, which would delight him and horrify her. like, tank tops, cargo shorts, flannel jacket, same kind of old sneakers and sandals, etc. lovelace's fashion sense is just a little sportier; some basketball shorts, jerseys, and new york liberty logo tanks in place of eiffel's walmart discount rack selection of pop culture tees. that kind of thing. if hera could dress the way she wanted to, she'd have a very... folk festival woman at a farmer's market type of vibe. colorful, flowy, nature-y patterns. but minkowski is so much harder to imagine in casual clothing. a big part of it is how much she's separated her work life from her personal life, but even then... she just feels like someone who is practical about it to a fault. she doesn't dress badly, she's always put together, she just dresses. kind of like a mom in an old navy catalog.
i believe the best part of girlhood is wearing a saree for the first time for your farewell, never wanting to get out of it, and getting the types of compliments you've never received in your life. Full desi girl moment
