Really love the type of internet discourse post that's vague and passive aggressive about the other side of a debate that seems to pretend that people on the internet aren't generally just annoying and rude.

The transphobia has been included with the "Conservative LU Server" issue that's been going on, as the server has had homophobia, transphobia, racism and sexism all balled up into one bigoted ass server essentially. but yeah, genderbent is. a really really transphobic term, so id say maybe go for "masculine" reader or "amab" reader rather than "genderbent". Cuz ya know, there may be femme readers you have that have amab bodies, or masc readers that have afab bodies. Making sure to be inclusive is so greatly appreciated by us trans folk, and i certainly appreciate the work youve tried to put forth, and seeing your response really eased the anxiety i had in sending that ask XD i didnt tag it with my emoji cuz i was just. Afraid i guess? That server has had a lot of us really really frightened to speak out to creators we like to make sure they're still safe. So thank you for being so kind and understanding, really. Not to uh put a damper on it, but maybe we can focus on that happening when penises AREN'T massively responsible for sexual and reproductive trauma against people without penises first. Maybe we can work on fixing the violence, instead of telling people their reaction TO the violence is a crime first? Just, priorities.

Trans women will never be free until people stop having strong emotions about penises. Like we, as a society, have got to stop caring about dicks! Dicks have to stop symbolizing maleness, obviously, but they also have to stop symbolizing power, dominance, sexual agency and aggression, violence, and even sex itself. Like trans women can’t be free if the very conceptual presence of a penis represents an intrusion(!) of unwanted(!) sexuality(!) in public life. Like that’s why trans women are abhorrent to both male chauvinists and radical feminists, because both groups have extremely strong feelings about what a penis *represents*, and find the conceptual and actual presence of a woman with a penis to be simultaneously vile and nonsensical because they’ve loaded so much symbolic baggage onto both women and penises.

Anyway dicks are totally neutral body parts and seeing a dick, or a bulge in a swimsuit, or simply knowing that there’s a dick somewhere in the same bathroom as you isn’t harmful or violent

This is kinda shit advice when there’s a current trend of harmful disinformation floating around where if it doesn’t get corrected a lot of people end up getting hurt. Climate change, politics (regardless of country), Covid, trans rights, take your pick.

If I see some people trying to spread misinformation that hurts others, I’m not gonna think about the tiger and the donkey I’m gonna think about the people that this conspiracy nut is gonna end up hurting.

Lastly, the conclusion is that the ruler (portrayed as correct and wise and just) not only lets the misinformation continue to run rampant, but outright *silences* the people trying to correct it? Well that sounds like a fantastically bad idea.

When ignorance screams, intelligence moves on.

oh good, I was afraid that wasn't going to read properly and people would just be like "what is this supposed to be". :') but yeah! I like to think Eric was pretty fond of Neige as a kid! single dad sees orphan child approximately the same age as his own son and goes "hmm. okay, you guys are going to be friends now." (this did not go as well as he'd hoped.)

(also I do love how it's kind of a running joke that everyone loves Neige except for Vil, who's standing over in the corner and just seething with furious irrational hatred. someday maybe he'll find someone who doesn't think Neige is the best thing since cinnamon rolls.)
