From the very first fight in the pit, Vi was your hero. Vi was able to take a hit--multiple hits-- from people twice her size and shake it off in a way you had never seen before. She would just keep getting up, keep finishing the fights, and keep winning them too

You were starstruck every time you snuck into the seats overlooking the dusty pit. The depths of the Undercity were no place for a kid, but that never stopped you from going to see Vi fight. She was a master the way she dodged and threw a punch

Before crawling into bed you would try to recreate exactly what you saw Vi do only hours prior. You would practice throwing punches at random things you would find around the room or the streets and you practice ducking and dodging imaginary enemies

Vi was ruthless in the pit; she never seemed afraid of anything and was just unstoppable in your eyes. You admired her; wanted to be just like her. Growing up in the Undercity was scary, especially for a kid, so you wished you could be strong enough to just take it all by storm

After maybe a dozen or so fights, you started following her out of the pit, hidden in the shadows at first--watching her limp home--you just wanted to be her, to meet her, anything. Eventually you came out of the shadows, waving hi to her, asking her what it was like fighting guys ten times her size. Vi's responses were always one word answers or grunts before she got tired of you tripping over her feet and she would shoo you away. That never discouraged you, however, people like her needed a good amount of sleep, and you would always see her the next day

Vi never really warms up to you, but eventually she stops glaring at you and grunting her answers. She starts expecting your visits, begrudgingly. She's not happy about it; she should not be your hero in the slightest, but while you're there, she at least attempts not to be a degenerate

This changes, however, when she watches you get grabbed by the so-called security of the pit fighting ring after they finally noticed you sneaking into the fights to watch. She watches you get roughly picked up by the scruff of your neck and watches the fear grow in your eyes, and she knows she has to do something. Using her popularity to her advantage, she rips the security guy a new one. Vi screams and yells and throws punches, just so they can let you go

After that she starts looking at you differently. Her gaze is softer and her smiles are more frequent. Later on, she'll tell you that you remind her of her little sister Powder, always getting underfoot, and asking Vi all these silly questions that always got her to laugh. Vi especially loves your curiosity, why else would you be sneaking into the pit fights?

Vi starts making dinner for two, always making sure you're well-fed and hydrated before you leave. If it's especially late out by the time you two finish, Vi has a makeshift cot for you in her room. Vi will tell you stories about what it was like growing up and will even tell you the same tales she once told Powder before bed

Like Jinx did with Isha, Vi starts putting her black makeup on you so you two look similar. She loves how you laugh and smile when she makes black stars or stripes on your cheeks. She tries to do a different design every time

She'll call you nicknames like kid or champ. Ruffles the hair on your head. Vi will teach you how to punch and how to defend yourself. She hopes and prays you never have to, but knowing the Undercity, it's only a matter of time until you'll have to fight for your life. Vi dreads that day. In fact, she's worried about you constantly. Even when you're within arms reach, she's worried about what could happen to you--if Vi can't get to you on time or if one day she gets knocked down and doesn't get back up again. Vi saves some money for you just in case under the floorboards of her room. Vi does change her mentality in the ring though. She stops going in there ok with the possibility of something bad happening to her. Vi realizes that she has someone to go home to, to cherish, to nourish. So she does start hoping she wins every fight or at least doesn’t get permanently injured

Vi simply doesn't want to make the same mistake she did with Powder, she wants to be there to protect you no matter how angry or frustrated she gets. She wants to show you unconditional love. she wants to not fuck it all up all over again

hi, anon! this is so sweet omg, this actually made my day. i'm excited you're excited! i spontaneously began rewriting at the end of october, sort of thinking it'd just be something for myself, until i realized there really wasn't much fun to be had in tackling a project with no publishing potential all by myself, so i just had to share it with everybody again 🩷 also, i was lowkey getting depressed doing nothing but work/studying without having people in my phone to talk to, so ... here we are! i'm so glad you're reaching out! it always really excites me when people introduce themselves as silent readers/supporters because they're absolutely integral to the fan space, but they're also some of the most exciting people to hear from. it means a lot to know i've created something worth reaching out over. i said this all the time when i used to post, but the best part of writing to me was putting out stuff that made people feel one way or another.

it also means a lot that you find me eloquent! i used to think i rambled too much, i still think i do, but i would sometimes get very caught up in my awe and appreciation of the fact that people cared about my universe and the characters so much. every question truly did matter to me, and still does!! a piece of me frequently regrets wiping the old stuff, but the other piece of me really likes having this new leaf now that we're starting over again. this blog was also definitely my safe space on the internet, and my best friend (whom i literally just texted with about this earlier today) can vouch for the fact that not really being active here or writing what i used to was difficult for me. it was a constant of my life for, what? like three and a half years, so going from having this blog to check up on every day for that long to nothing at all was saddening, and then just eventually boring once life got so work-life-balance. a part of me knows we may never see the sort of interaction and readership seen at the peak of MS/WT, but another part of me is just really excited to see what this new version conjures up. like, sure, it's the same story, but if you've already read it before, then reading the rewrite may give new perspectives, and if you're a new reader, then there's a whole new world there. i feel silly saying this when it really does start out like a lot of cliché rockstar fanfics so it might not seem like anything special, but 🤍 people were patient enough to hold on for the complexity. this sort of feels like memory lane but with the faint excitement that comes from the fact that there will be little changes here and there and i get to wait and see who picks up on them.

so thank you for this!! it really does mean a lot! everybody here is my friend regardless of if they read or interact with me, and i hope that everybody considers me the same. i know that when i got involved in fanspaces with things that i didn't write for, i would feel so intimidated by my fave authors (literally screamed the day my fave fanfic writer from my hp days (who is a published author now, hiiii olivie blake) sent me a happy birthday wish), because i thought they were so talented and cool and practically untouchable, so. i don't want anybody to feel that way about me. one, because i'm not that cool and the talent is average (worked on for like 5 years now), and two, because i don't bite! it's way more fun to have things done in a conversational, intimate way than it is to have things feel distant. so i'm VERY excited to be back, and i'm VERY excited to give people things to look forward to and a place to come around and hang out!!

I want to quit a03 and just delete all my current fanfictions, i haven’t updated any of them in months. I’m tired lol. The main reason why is I haven’t been getting a lot of interactions on my recent stuff and Ik that’s not the point of writing fanfics but idk it’s a nice from motivation. I’m an attention whore, sue me.

What i’m asking i guess is how do u stay motivated??? I have a lot of ideas for things but no drive to make them a reality.

Oh dude I absolutely get it, for real. While we ultimately write for ourselves, a lack of engagement is REALLY discouraging! I’ve said before that I went through a REAL mental struggle writing The Webs In The Rafters specifically, and that still stands. I had a lot of super nice commenters, and that helped a lot, but it was so, so, sucky to see no engagement other than the same six people. As grateful as I was for them, I really wanted more interaction. I’d see the comment count go up, but no new kudos, and I’d feel like I was failing.

I almost dropped that fic. The only reason I didn’t was my dearest boxwinebaddie regularly doing cartwheels in the comments and messaging me about the story. Encouragement from an author you admire helps SO MUCH and I want to be that person to someone someday!!! The community of ao3 can be toxic, for sure, but it’s so kickass to see the same handful of people in someone’s comms every time you read something from a certain writer!

And man, I am absolutely an attention whore. I thrive on attention. I may be an agoraphobic asshole with no friends other than my partner irl and I may literally panic so bad that I faint when I get spoken to, but we are HUMAN!!! Validation is fucking NICE!!! Being a person sucks absolute ass and confirmation that we’re doing something right helps a lot!

The only advice I have on staying motivated: I’m just fuckin insane. And I’ve said before that the ONLY reason I started writing was bc I had an extremely specific set of tags I wanted to see. I wanted to see more style injury recovery and at the time, a lot of the style fics out there were literally just boring high school aus or Stan being suicidal and I was like helll no let’s switch it up! So I assumed my mission of renovating that ship tag. I wanted sot style h/c with an ungodly amount of comfort? I was gonna have to write it. And that expanded to all aus. I developed the OrangeJuiceVerse specifically with the message of healing as the central theme. And it means so much to me. What I’m getting at is that your work really does have to have something there that’s important to you. If it’s just all random drama with no reconciliation, it’ll be really draining on you and fall flat in your mentality surrounding it.

Another thing is: if you don’t feel like updating, DONT! It’s fanfiction. It’s something you’re putting on the Internet for free. If you aren’t 100% happy with a chapter, there is no obligation to post it! Also, if you aren’t feeling up to working on a wip, mentally or physically, you don’t have to! Come back to it when you are!

On obligation, something I struggle with is my own self imposed habit of daily updates on multichapters. I usually go really wild when I start a new au, and I’ll write for it every day. But for instance, right now, it’s been a couple since I’ve posted a new chap on In The Truly Gruesome. And I have felt some guilt about that, bc I’ve sort of garnered this reputation as someone who updates frequently on multichaps, but I haven’t been feeling so great, so writing isn’t my top priority. A couple lines here and there are what I can manage, and that’s okay! Again, it’s fanfiction. Ultimately, it matters to us as the author, the story can mean the world to us, but we shouldn’t feel obligated to update, because above all we are PEOPLE with LIVES!!!

It’s also important to remember not to treat ao3 as social media. Yes it’s kickass to form a community of like minded authors who all support each others stuff, but it isn’t something that should be expected. And I CANNOT stress enough how important it is not to feel obligated to work on something just bc someone wants you too. I’m a hypocrite, yeah, considering I had no intention of continuing my TFBW oneshot “We Did It We Are A Good Team” until I had someone commenting on my unrelated works asking for a second chapter. I don’t regret writing ch 2, btw, like im really happy with it, but I did cave under pressure to some degree. And that’s not something we should do when writing. Write for YOURSELF and (unless you’re doing an ask book or something) NO ONE ELSE!!!

That’s what I got my dude. If you feel strongly about what you’re writing, by all means write it. If you don’t, don’t feel obligated. I hope this helped!

You know me, I’m not one for writing smut, but I often think about Ames and Eilidh and how lonely he was until Eilidh came along and one of his biggest breakthroughs was trusting Eilidh enough to go to that level with her. He has fallen in love with Eilidh so many times and in so many different ways, but being comfortable enough to be intimate with her was something very special.

So, I can’t actually remember who all was here when we were actually writing this, because it was probably 5-6 years ago now? But the tl;dr is that Eilidh and Ames didn’t sleep together for a very long time, even after their relationship became romantic. I mean, they slept together in a literal sharing-a-bed sense, but it was a couple years before Ames felt ready to go beyond handsy makeouts.

There were times when Eilidh wondered if they would ever get there, tbh, even though he told her that he did want to someday. That waiting was really hard for her, even though she tried to hide it. I mean, you all know her. She loves being physically intimate with people, it’s how she relates to people best. But with Ames she had to be patient, to take very small steps, to always let him set the pace, and none of that came easily, especially since I think part of her always felt like no matter how hard she tried to communicate....he couldn’t really understand her? Like until they did that, he would always have a skewed perspective on that part of her life, and that really bothered her.

The thing is, he was doing exactly the same thing for her, just on the romantic side. Because he has always been SO careful of her emotional boundaries, even when she was bad at communicating them (and even struggled to understand them herself sometimes). He was infinitely patient and willing to be with her on her terms, even when he had no reason to believe his feelings would ever be reciprocated, and I think the waiting was really good for both of them. They figured shit out about themselves and their own needs and limits, and they both worked hard to be better and communicate better for each other, even when it was uncomfortable, and their relationship is stronger for it.

And that’s not to say like, when they finally slept together that was the culmination of the relationship and there were no more problems uwu, because no that is NOT the case. But it was special in terms of the trust and understanding between them and the security they both felt, physically and romantically. Like, when they met, the way Eilidh was then she NEVER would have slept with a man who said he was in love with her! She would have run in the opposite direction! But they did the work for each other and, yknow, Eilidh gags at the phrase ~making love~ but yeah. That’s what they did (and do) and it’s really fucking sweet.

Super Effective — Giacomo x Psychic Trainer Reader

🔈 — With the STAR training centers up and running, the more the word about them has gotten out, the more interesting challengers have come to challenge the Star bosses, Giacomo included.

🔈 — When he was informed that his current incoming challenger was a pure psychic-type trainer, he was admittedly a little confused. All of his Pokemon didn’t just have the advantage against psychic-types, they were completely immune to psychic moves. Training against your weaknesses was one thing, but if you were running a sole psychic team, it just seemed like you were asking for more outright hell than a challenge. But okay.

🔈 — And then when he came riding out on the Starmobile to meet your challenge after you finished fighting his underlings. Oh lord. You were as handsome, mysterious, almost mystical as the type you fought with. You reminded him of some videos he’d seen showcasing mega evolution in the Hoenn region, the way Gallade looked when it mega evolved—like an enchanted warrior. Oh, it’s over for him the moment he sees you. You look like you need your own theme song. Maybe he’ll make a mix on it after this.

🔈 — It’s doubly over when your battle starts, because he’s not ready for how prepared you were for this. You might be at a major disadvantage, but you kitted your Pokemon out with all the moves to counter his. Armarogue, Espeon, Espathra, Slowking, Hypno, Gallade, all of them are threats and even if he gets some solid hits and KOs on you, you still win by a decent margin.

🔈 — He’s never been that invested in battling, certainly not like everyone else in Team Star, but he’s taken getting stronger more seriously since being put in charge of the STC, and you still crush him.

🔈 — He definitely doesn’t crush you, but by the end of the battle, he’s totally crushing on you. You’ve got your whole aesthetic together and battling is a clearly a big performance for you, and he respects your commitment to your own personal brand. The battle was extra fun for him, because you were clearly having fun just being there. You remind him a bit of his friends in Team Star with that passion for something you clearly live. You’re an amazing battler like Eri, passionate like Mela, theatrical and stylish like Atticus, brainy like Ortega, and leader to your Pokemon as good as Penny was to them.

🔈 — He actually kind of forgets his script as he hops down from the Starmobile to shake your hand. He’d been standing above you on that platform the whole battle, and now that he’s actually level with you you’re even more otherworldly. But he recovers pretty quickly—a DJ has to be good at talking on the fly, anyway—and thanks you for a rad battle that gave him way more of a challenge than he was ready for.

🔈 — But you’re impressed too! You recognized a while ago that while psychic Pokemon were you pride and joy, you’re fully aware the dark type is something you can’t hit with your usual attacks and you visited the STC to test out some strategies. This turned out to be a great place for training, especially fighting against him.

🔈 — Which is how you started frequenting his STC at least once a week. And he’s not gonna seem so uncool that he’s like, waiting for you or anything, but he kinda is. Battling isn’t even his favorite thing, but with you it’s different. It’s an exciting challenge, and also you’re there. You’ve been giving him good inspiration for mixes, but he’s not gonna say anything about that.

🔈 — While you two grow closer, you hang out more beyond training. With all the vending machines around and open field space, the training centers offer a good spot to take a break while letting your Pokemon stretch their legs after working so hard. So you guys establish a routine of battling, then grabbing some sodas and hanging out afterwards.

🔈 — Then that turned into talking longer afterwards, which turned into sharing earbuds as Giacomo plays some of his music for you, which to him is like. Oh god. Maybe you don’t realize how far gone he is, or how, I don’t know, literally no one who visits the facility gets this kind of attention from him, but your Pokemon know exactly what’s going on. Psychic types are smart, after all, and it doesn’t take long for them to start harassing Giacomo about it.

🔈 — He hears your Gallade snicker and click when he offers you an earbud during your rest breaks, and he doesn’t miss the knowing look your Hypno starts giving him when it notices he’s memorized what your favorite soda is in the machine. Your Espeon stares so intently at him when you guys relax on the benches together, like it’s trying to burn a hole through his head. Armarogue keeps standing in front of you two, pointing its head from one of you to the other, back and forth, back and forth.

🔈 — Damn, is he being that obvious? The way that your Pokemon treat him, he must be. And they can’t talk, but the longer this goes on, the more it feels like they’re trying to put some kind of pressure on the two of you—but mostly him.

🔈 — Your Espathra not-at-all-subtly shoves you into him one time, and he fumbles to catch you before you both trip over each other’s feet. The two of you nervously laugh it off, apologizing to one another, but his face goes bright red when he has his arms around you, oh god, but you don’t seem to notice. Or maybe you’re ignoring it on purpose.

🔈 — On a particularly cold day, Espeon and Espathra steal his coat and book it, prompting you to laugh and take off your own jacket to give to him while you go chase your misbehaving Pokemon down, and he just about dies.

🔈 — Your Pokemon kind of break the record for trying to shove you two together in the most asshole-ish ways possible when he’s sharing some of his newer mixes with you, and one of your Pokemon—he could never tell which one, and if he did, he’d throttle them—starts manipulating his laptop with its psychic powers.

🔈 — While he’s playing you some samples from his audio editing software, the Pokemon opens whatever the Pokemon world equivalent of Spotify is in the background and keeps flicking through every overplayed pop-y love song in the book. Of course, he doesn’t actually know what‘s going on but it feels like Arceus itself has suddenly decided to out him just because it felt like it. You’re laughing every time he gets increasingly flustered trying to shut the cheesy love songs off.

🔈 — And your Pokemon responsible for this, who is trying so hard, then drops the hail mary and opens something that isn’t the radio app, but instead one of his unfinished project files. Which is the mix inspired by you he was working on. Which he titled the file YOUR NAME.

🔈 — And you both just kind of. Stare at the computer screen. Giacomo feels his soul leave his body. He does not know how to recover from this one.

🔈 — “Um…” you finally pipe up. “Are you… working on a mix related to me, or…?”

🔈 — Well, shit, he can’t keep lying. Wearily, he explains exactly what the mix is. That yes, it totally is related to you, it’s about you, you were just so striking to him from the moment you two met, you had such a presence, it was giving him so many ideas. And as the days hanging out went on, he just got more and more ideas and got more enthusiastic about working on the mix, which is… long now. Almost enough for a full set at a normal gig.

🔈 — He’s not outright SAYING he likes you in a romantic way, but he’s definitely skirting around it. Calling you unique, striking, one of a kind, complimenting your battle style and fashion sense and saying your personality is captivating, good lord, he’s saying everything BUT “I kind of have the biggest crush on you”.

🔈 — But you find it all sweet. You’re really touched by his words, and by his gesture, even if you weren’t supposed to know about it. He flatters you immensely, and the thing I said about him saying everything but outright confessing to having a crush? You pick up on that. And teasingly, you lean against him and deliver a snarky:

🔈 — “Wow, Giacomo, that’s so sweet. Really… I’ve never had anyone do something like this for me. But the way you’re talking, it’s, uh…” you grin at him. “…pretty gay.”

The Brotherhood of the Travelling Warlords

Thank you everyone who helped send me armchair travelling around the world (and in some cases, into the past as well). It was a lot of fun to research these places and try to figure out what our warlords would want to check out while they were visiting.

Event summary...

Fifteen postcards written, as requested by fourteen people.

Warlords on the move: Mitsuhide (4), Nobunaga (2), Shingen (2), and Masamune (2) win the frequent flier honors, but Sasuke, Yukimura, Keiji, Mitsunari, and Kennyo also got to do some sightseeing as well.

Of all the places requested, I had been to three: Times Square, Washington DC, and Dublin Ireland. I've been to Chicago before, but not during the 1896 World's Fair.

Warlord who gave me travel-envy. I've always wanted to go to Hawaii, New Orleans and Prague, so I would have stowed away in Mitsuhide's suitcase without question.

Places I learned about that I now want to visit: Vigan City and Hoi An Ancient Town.

Place that was a nope... well, we sent Sasuke to an active volcano...

Request that gave me the most difficulty. Rome in 2020, only because I had to do some research to figure out what the COVID restrictions were at that time.

Favorite finished postcard design. I really liked the way Paris France, 1900 turned out. The artwork and graphic design of the era is so very much in my aesthetic sweet spot.

Easter eggs... all of Mitsuhide's postcards have a faint hidden graphic underneath the text of the postcard.

Favorite postcard text - I think I might go with Mitsunari on this one. I figured of all warlords, he'd be the one who started out writing his postcard too big, and be forced to make the lettering get smaller and smaller until he had to write up the side of the card (also he was writing the postcard while on a tour bus for part of the time, so it was a little messy for that reason too). Plus, I just enjoyed thinking of him trapped in Trinity College library and not worried at all about it. Him losing his shoes was a running joke in his longfic, so I stuck that in there too.

Mistakes... I think my biggest planning mistake was not figuring out in advance a couple of the world building issues. Would these warlords be going to a recipient who was currently living in Azuchi (or Kasugayama)? Since some of the requests were anon, or from posters I don't know very well, I made the assumption that the postcard recipient had indeed been previously wormholed into the Sengoku. Also, how would the warlords deal with a language barrier? With that one, I figured that for any warlord travelling to a timeline past (or just around) the 20th century - they could probably find someone who spoke their language (both Kennyo and Masamune went to World's Fairs where there was a Japanese installation). But when Shingen went to Ancient Greece and Mitsuhide went to the Golden Age of India, I figured they would just have to do their best with pointing and making up a sign language as they went along (they're both smart men, they can adapt!). Masamune had less difficulty in medieval Poland, not because he found someone to translate, but because he travelled into a siege situation and I figured he was well enough acquainted with battles that he'd do ok ... I er, quite possibly overthought these.

Along those lines... while I had fun picking out handwriting fonts for the warlords, I made a few mistakes early on... Mitsuhide's for example, took up too much space and I couldn't fit as much content on his cards (and so of course, he was the most requested warlord).

Curious about the handwriting I picked? I was pretty random about it... mostly it was a combination of what felt right to me, plus whether or not it would fit on the postcard. Shingen is more romantic, so his handwriting is flowy, whereas Nobunaga's takes up a lot of space - but I had to balance an authoritative font with being able to include a decent amount of text. I figured that Mitsuhide would think faster than he writes, so his is a little more careless looking, and Sasuke would print, because he's used to writing lab reports. And of course, once I picked a handwriting font for one postcard, I kept it through the rest of them.

hi im asking u this bc u seem to be bee duo enthusiast so

ive been calling c! beeduos relationship platonic because i thought that was what their cc’s said, and i thought they had said that they were uncomfortable with ppl shipping the characters. But ive seen a lot of posts that say their relationship is canonically romantic? and i absolutely do not want to come across as homophobic by watering down a mlm relationship to just friends because that happens so much in media so.

what is the canon state of their relationship / ur opinions on the platonic thibg

aw it’s totally fine, im flattered you asked me about this!

let me put it simply: it’s a whole mess, lol.

first im going to talk about what’s happened fandom-wide that caused differing opinions, and then i’ll explain my own opinion/interpretation. :]

(this got really fucking long im so sorry)

ranboo and tubbo initially proclaimed the relationship was romantic, specifically in argument with the wiki editors who had set it as platonic by default. (you can see this in the vod where they decide they’re canonically married— it’s very funny. chat tells them the marriage is already on the wiki, they check, tubbo is jokingly offended that it says platonic and asks if he needs to up the romance).

tubbo also makes jokes about adultry, which sort of implies the relationship is not necessarily a platonic one.

(theres definetly more in that stream alone but it’s been a long time since i watched it so i don’t remember a lot of it.)

the wiki, because of this, suffers from going back and forth on platonic and romantic, seemingly unsure where the joke ends and the canon begins, or if its canonically a joke! a mess, as you can already tell.

this gets more complicated as the marriage bit goes on: outsiders, such as phil and scott, both at one point say “platonic marriage”, which then ranboo and tubbo agree with. however, when chat asks them if they’re platonic, they say the opposite. so there is a lot of confusion there.

there’s also the difficulty of being able to tell streamers and characters apart. ranboo and tubbo both don’t like being shipped irl, and that’s their boundaries that shouldn’t be crossed. (they’re also minors, but tbh when they’re 18 in a year i will still be following their boundaries regardless of their legal age).

due to people not wanting to be accused of minor shipping, they started adding the platonic tone indicator to most of their drawings— basically a way of saying “no homo”. meanwhile, tubbo frequently on stream flirts with ranboo and makes quite a bit of nsfw comments towards him that are frankly hilarious.

this goes on for a while with nobody really sure what’s canon, but a lot of people assuming it’s probably platonic, until: the drama of the mods night. a few mods dmed all the wiki editors telling them ranboo wanted his canon character relationship officially set to platonic.

unfortunately for those mods; the very same day, a few hours later, ranboo on stream makes fun of puffy delivering him and tubbo “friendship flowers”. because, and i quote, “bruh. we’re literally married. this must be how the ancient greeks felt.”

in case you don’t know, the internet often jokes about how historians will call ancient greeks ‘very good friends’ when they are quite obviously gay. so in this context, ranboo is joking that people will call him and c!tubbo, who are married, “close friends”, when he doesn’t think they are.

basically, ranboo canonized romantic bee duo, the very same day the mods told everyone he’d wanted a platonic one.

chaos and drama immediately erupted everywhere. on tumblr, we were talking about how weird it was of his mods to do something like that without asking him first. we ALSO talked about how weird it was of them to assume that ranboo can’t make his own decisions, or assume teenagers cannot be in relationships without it being sexual. twitter did the same thing but in the opposite direction: called ranboo mods homophobic, or said they were mad ranboo felt pressured into making a romantic relationship canon ‘just so people could have mlm rep.’

i dont want to go into detail about the drama that happened that night because apparently official people follow me and i dont want to stir it up or have them come “clarify” things. im just saying what we talked about.

ranboo in typical ranboo fashion apologized quickly and seriously. he was deeply sorry for possibly offending anyone with how he’d portrayed his rp relationship with tubbo, and he also assured everyone the mod thing was just a miscommunication.

he said he would talk to tubbo and they’d decide once and for all whether it was platonic or romantic, and then announce so everyone would know.

it’s now been a few months and we've had no word from them on that development. we still have no clue.

now, here’s my opinion:

i want to take ranboos word for it that it was a miscommunication with his mods, but... we had it on good authority from people on the wiki team and people in the discord with the mods that (while it was happening) they were really going after the wiki admins, and also made some weird comments about it. that combined with the way ranboo seemingly had no clue (considering he canonized their romance that very same day).... it’s very. sus of the mods.

then there’s the canon we’ve got since then. although occasionally adults in the room have called it a “platonic marriage” and tubbo once (back when it first started) called it a “plankton tectonic” marriage, in roleplay it’s been... kind of not that. tubbo and ranboo make nsfw jokes about each other in character, and their characters also share a master bedroom and bed in the mansion. there's also the way c!tommy really thinks it’s a romance between them as well, and they agree with and play off that— for instance confirming that they “fell in love” when he asked, or ranboo confirming that they “make out on occasion”.

people will still put platonic on their art and posts, imo, because they’re worried about breaking ranboo and tubbo’s irl boundaries by looking like they ship them. or even just being accused of shipping real life minors. and that’s a valid fear to have.

the thing is though: c!bee duo are not cc!bee duo. they’re roleplay characters. cc!bee duo are not okay with being shipped, but they made their characters get canonically married, and call each other “husbands”. so it’s okay to write the word “husband” in your comic without adding “platonic” to it, i promise.

telling the ccs that their characters have to be platonic is... weird. it comes off as not only babying them, but also as saying teens can’t date without it being gross. which isn’t true.

(this is why seeing people overuse “platonic husband” so much bothers me. like, they ARE husbands. you can just say it. what are you trying to hide...?)

do i think they’re canonically romantic? ehh, its likely. it’s still okay to interpret them as platonic, because again, it’s hard to tell where jokes end and roleplay begins. like, maybe it’s jokes in the rp too, and c!bee duo are just friends. friends can and should be allowed to make jokes like that with each other! aro & ace marriages exist!

or, maybe it’s actually part of the rp, and they’re very much romantic. we don’t know!

some people say they could be a qpr (queerplatonic romance), which i could see. (a qpr is a relationship that fluctuates between, or can’t quite be sorted into, “romantic” and “platonic”. people in a qpr can do romantic things while having platonic feelings for each other). in my opinion this is a very valid interpretation as well!

are c!bee duo romantic?

its likely, but you can still interpret them however you like!

should i put /p on bee duo content?

ehhh? i find it annoying when it’s overused (as do others), but if you’re worried you can. its up to preference. putting it too much is weird though

should i put /p on things cc! bee duo do?

no. you’re not the one saying it so you can’t decide the tone tags for that. imagine you said something to your friend and a random stranger came up and was like “haha but that was /p right...?”

can i ship c!bee duo?

mmm. i’m not sure on this one. they are canonically married and very flirtatious, but the ccs don’t like being shipped and they’re close enough to being the ccs that actively shipping might be against boundaries.

can i treat c!bee duo as romantic?

yes. literally just don’t be weird about it. it’s not that hard! you can understand that two characters are husbands without making it weird

here’s the most important thing: boundaries. cc bee duo still haven’t told us what their preferences and canon is about this whole thing.

right now, i am assuming based on what they already show us they’re comfortable with, but! the second they give us any more info! all these opinions will change!

i am only going off what they do. i would never want to cross boundaries at all. i just wish they would make theirs a little more clear.

The stationary series

Part I

Grian and DocM77

Synopsis: a series which depicts my view of what type of stationary the hermits would use, and how their office would look! To avoid a massive post, this has become a series. Under the headcanons for each hermit I’ve included a list of the pens and inks i have written about to use for reference.

A/n: It may have been a while since I’ve posted anything, thanks to a writers block, but due to some help I’ve decided to create this series, so I hope evryone can enjoy this. This is different from my usual x-reader content. Special thanks to @blooming-mushroom​ for helping me think of this, and for helping me in the process. I am so glad you are my first mutual, and for the fact that we were able to chat before this got published, since this was supposed to be my initial reveal as Blossom-anon. 

Grian:

Carries around a small notepad where he scribbles new base ideas and additions, he wants but does not have the time or materials for to add immediately

The front of the notepad is filled with elaborately scheduled out to-do lists, completed with a progress bar and planning space

He never uses it however, preferring to scribble down on the corner of an already full page what his plans for the day are instead

His handwriting is definitely worse when he doesn't have a sturdy surface to put the notepad against, but generally has a pretty legible     handwriting (despite his chaotic nature)

His impulsive tendencies to show in the way his notebook is organized however, with lots of random pages filled with miscellaneous notes

Grian scribbles elegant patterns along page sides and corners that get incorporated into his build designs eventually, perhaps in a wall for variation, or as a carpet design

Prefers using ballpoint pens when travelling, and flying around, though it is definitely more than an average ballpoint pen

He carries around a Parker jotter ballpoint pen due to their comfort while writing and because there are no risks for ink leaking while he is grinding or flying around

At his base he has a semi organized desk, though discarded notes from the notepad are almost everywhere

He knows that what it may be he is searching for is hidden in the notes on his desk, but cannot find it whenever he needs to, and instead finds it a few days later when they have become useless

Definitely has building pictures and sketches hanging around his workplace for build inspiration, and planning

He does have an actual fountain pen around his desk for making more elaborate plans, which would be a vintage Parker 51 in burgundy

It is one of his favourites due to its hard working and nearly indestructible reputation, yet still struggles refilling it with ink which frequently ends up in ink splatters across random notes

Since he likes the colour red, he tends to gravitate towards those colours as well, though he also loves writing in a classic blue ink, or black even.

I would imagine he'd like ‘Oxblood’ by Diamine, ‘Royal Red’ by Robert     Oster, Parker quink blue, or Parker quink black

Docm77:

Doc plans things, and not in any small quantities 

He plans new projects, structures, ideas, and, above all, he often has to converse with the Hivemind for a lot of these things in the form of letters

Therefore, writing comfort has become necessary for him, and he likes to use pricier and more classic pens

For example, the Visconti Homo sapiens pen is standardly on his desk, and a Montblanc Meisterstück, depending on what ink is in the pen and what he feels like 

He would keep the pens on his desk standardly, not feeling the need to take them with him as any idea's that may pop up during the day gets stored in his brain until he has the time to write it down

He has multiple notebooks scattered around a big desk, with multiple advanced calculators and measuring instruments strewn about

He isn't necessarily neat, but definitely isn't as messy as some of the other hermits, so his desk only has few miscellaneous papers lying about, though most of his ideas or plans are stored in notebooks he has piled up in the corner

Because of the size of some of his plans, he also has a wall in his office dedicated to different ideas where he hangs the filled papers

One of the other walls in his office would be filled with bookcases, where he has multiple books displayed, a lot of them handwritten by himself, with game codes and past idea's that he likes to revisit occasionally

Notebooks of past seasons projects, builds, and ideas are also stored away neatly in bookshelf as well

Though his handwriting can be quite difficult to read due to his mind working faster than his hands can keep up with

It’s not necessarily a doctor-type of handwriting, it certainly borders the edge sometimes

Words are scratched out often as well on his notes, as he tends to write something in German instead of English when writing to the Hivemind

The hivemind has however become an expert in decoding his     handwriting

Doc would prefer more classic toned inks like blue or black, though especially in the blue's he likes to switch it up every so often

He would like Iroshizuku Kon-peki, Iroshizuku asa-gao, Aurora blue black or Cross Black

like in my baby sister hcs, you’re still the most important thing to him period

the two of you got picked up by dazai and kunikida when he was 18 (obviously) and when you were 12

for a 12 year old, you were a bit small bc of malnourishment (which makes atsushi feel so bad) so both dazai and kunikida thought you were a bit younger than you actually were

they assumed you were about 9-10ish

you and atsushi both share a favorite food !! chazuke :)

so when kunikida treated the two of you, he made sure you got more bowls bc like i mentioned above, he feels really bad that you were malnourished and under weight

(don’t bring this up but kunikida felt bad too hehe)

when dazai went with your brother to the warehouse, you were with kunikida

imagine the surprise of the other ada members when kunikida came in with a little girl dressed in rags that popped out from behind him

kenji was the one who vocalized his thoughts 

“kunikida-san you have a daughter?! wow! i didn’t know that! :D”

when you found out your brother was a tiger, you were a bit concerned but you were actually kind of excited

you were even more excited when you found out the two of you were going to be taken in by the agency

anything was better than the stupid orphanage

and besides!

you got a tiger for an older brother and a bunch of other super powered agents to take care of you! who could want anything else?

at your age, you’re very impressionable and can be influenced easily so atsushi makes sure to teach you more in depth of good morals and the importance of kindness

his heart swells with pride and relief when he catches you being kind to others

pride bc he’s proud that even after all the two of you have gone through, you still ended up being a good kid and having a bright view of the world

and relief bc he hasn’t failed as a big brother

sometimes it isn’t even as a reward for being a good child; he’ll just give it to you and he’ll say smth like “i noticed you’ve used up your last notebook quite quickly, so here’s another one” or “did you run out of ink? here have this then”

he usually has a soft spot for children in general, but he most definitely has a soft spot (or a thousand) for you

yosano is kind of like a motherly figure to you

she gives you the guidance a mother should and goes on shopping trips with you!

atsushi always gets dragged along by you, but he thinks it’s worth it seeing you look so happy

yosano being a doctor also tries to teach the things you should know, or things that would be helpful to you

she’ll teach you the basics of cooking, sewing, how to treat a cold/fever, etc

also gives you excellent advice 1000% of the time

he’ll let you stay in his office as he fills out paperwork; you’re usually doodling or drawing in your notebooks

sometimes he’ll meditate and you’ll join him, but 4/7 times you’d fall asleep

you always wake up with a blanket over you

dazai is like a cool but a highly concerning and kind of high maintenance uncle

frequently takes you out with him when he ditches work

walks in the park, eating at uzumaki so he has the excuse of treating you so he doesn’t have to pay his tab avoiding kunikida and sometimes chuuya and akutagawa, all that fun stuff

also tries to not talk abt suicide in front of you especially if it’s just the two of you alone

he knows that you mean the world to his pupil and that said pupil would probably hate him for putting suicide inside your brain

he teaches you random but useful things like how to pick a lock, how to steal kunikida’s notebook if you’re looking for some information, how to sweet talk your way out of things, etc.

is also the one to tell you that if you ever get a significant other to introduce them to the agency first

he always wants all of your gossip; some of them work pretty well for blackmail

“dazai-san! dazai-san! did you know that kunikida-san lost his glasses and he was looking for them for nearly an hour when he was just holding them the entire time??”

“woah really (y/n)-chan?! hey hey can you say it again into this recording device so kunikida-kun would believe me when i tell him—”

always ends up giving kunikida a heart attack when he says that you’ve been with him all day

ranpo is also like a cool but a highly concerning and kind of high maintenance uncle

will share some of his snacks, but don’t push it or you might not get anything at all

loves it when you compliment him

if you tagged along with him and your brother on a case, he will show off to impress you

hehe braid trains are definitely a thing + kyouka and kenji (and maybe even dazai)

sometimes you have sibling swap days

you’re with junichiro for most of the day and atsushi is with naomi

strange i know

each of the tanizaki siblings try to make it fun bc they know that the two of you did not at all have a happy upbringing

junichiro likes spending time with you by taking you out to different places that naomi likes to frequent

like the mall, different stores and restaurants, the park, places like those

naomi does the same thing with atsushi so if you ever bump into them, you go out and eat together :)

besides atsushi, the next one in line who spoils you the most would be junichiro (and yosano & kunikida both coming in at a close third)

he honestly can’t help it; you remind him of how naomi was when she was younger

So in MLP there's this pretty interesting concept they explore now and then of basically like. Losing the meaning of your cutie mark. Not doing what you're meant to do. SO to add some ~spice~, Owen's special talent is theatre!

It's with jae-ha from yona of the dawn. I travel with the group, joining a little bit after all the dragon warrior's were gathered together. I was traveling by myself, lonely and convinced I was just a beast meant to be hated and feared, as she can turn into a giant white fox, and many people she meets seems to have an instinct of caution. The group helped me see myself as more than a beast, jae-ha especially is encouraging by treating me as a girl, not a beast. It's an established relationship, formed after thinking his flirting was only him joking since he flirts with everyone for a good while, until he was able to convince me he's genuine with liking and wanting me. I'm not as strong as Hak or the dragon warriors, but I can hold my own in a fight. I'm a bit naive, sweet, quiet but always with a quip to add to banter with him, fierce when threatened, just wants to be liked and to care for others even if those people are the people who shun me, and dedicated to Yona like the others in gratitude and cares for everyone in the crew. Also, smol. He uses a lot of different pet names.

I didn't mention Valentine's Day in this letter simply bc I don't think such a holiday exists in their time period LOL so this is just a random love letter bc Jae-ha is so romantic he can write one for his s/o anytime :D. I hope you enjoy!!]

The group had been on their feet the whole day and finally stopped to set up camp, to your relief.

Jae-ha came over and took a seat beside you.

“How’re you feeling, my pretty lady?” He raises an eyebrow while grabbing one of your hands and leaving a kiss to its surface, maintaining eye contact the whole time.

“Doing good, just tired,” you lean your head on his shoulder as he draws small circle into the back of your hand, pressing gentle kisses onto your head.

“Take a breather, don’t worry about setting anything up, me and the rest of the guys will handle it all, so just relax your precious body, my love. Oh!” He proclaims and reaches into his robe and pulls out a folded piece of paper, “This is for you. I wrote it a few nights ago, so give it a read.”

You silently take the paper from him, surprised that he wrote something for you; you unfold and begin to read;

To My Beauty,

It seems like only yesterday when you appeared before us in your giant white fox form, looking scared and lonely, but relieved at the same time to see friendly faces. Thankfully, Yona convinced you that it was okay for you to approach us and as you did you transformed into your human form, cautious and worried about scaring us off–not that you could with that gorgeous face.

At first I thought you would be just like any of the other beautiful woman I have had a chance to run into, but we spoke one night and you let me into the darkest part of you heart, telling me your worries, fears, and insecurities and my heart ached for you.

Also I don't really have a character limit, I wanted to do all of the crusaders but then I got tired and it already took me such a long time to finish it and ahhh. Sorry for all the grammatical errors, English is not my first language and it's already so late when I'm finishing it and it's just bleh. Stardust Crusaders finding their crushes' sketchbook

Jotaro Kujo

He notices that you've been spending most of your free time drawing in that sketchbook of yours. Truth be told, it bothers him a lot. Jotaro has had a big fat crush on you for a while now, and he secretly longs for your company. He can't admit that tho, he has a hard ass bad boy reputation to maintain after all. What would people say if the saw him all flustered for a girl? The fact that you would rather sit by yourself and draw than be around him and the others bugs him. So one day, when you're busy with something else, he takes your beloved sketchbook and decides to see what's in there. He knows he's being creepy, but he couldn't care less. Just trying to get to know you better, without actually talking to you. Exactly.

He's very flustered but would rather die than admit it. Has read through all of it, admiring every single little drawing. After he's done, he'll just put it back where he found it, it the exact same place just so you don't notice someone has been messing with it. You probably have no idea he had seen your sketchbook at first, but you surely notice the blush dusting his cheeks whenever he speaks to you from that day on. Probably avoids you for a little while because he's so flustered.

The rest of the crew also notices something is off, Jotaro is always lost in thoughts and smokes more frequently. He can't keep himself from thinking about those cute drawings of yours, reading through your comics was a true delight. It fills him with glee to know that HE, among all of the crusaders, is the one who's the main character in your stories. It makes him giddy on the inside.

His secret eventually comes to light one night, he accidentally admits to having read through your comics while a late night talk between the whole group. While you were talking, Kakyoin had brought up the topic of your sketchbook. Now it's your turn to be embarassed, blushing crimson while trying to get as much information out of him as possible. How much did he see? Did he read through ALL OF THEM?

The rest of the crusaders are shocked at first, but quickly they start to laugh at the scene. Jotaro is reluctant to give any information, but he eventually tells you that yes, indeed, he's seen EVERYTHING. However, doesn't admit what the content of the sketchbook really is. Despite everything, he would never embarass you like that.

After everyone goes to sleep, you catch Jotaro before he has a chance to fall asleep, lying on his sleeping bag while looking at the night sky. You want to apologize, say anything, just to talk to him, but you're unable to find right words. He just sighs.

"Yare yare daze, there's no need to be embarassed [Y/N], I'm not mad"

Your eyes light up at his words. You want to say something, anything, thank him, but before you get a chance to do so, Jotaro's deep voice cuts you off.

"To be honest, I think your drawings are amazing. I really liked them" you notice his face is slightly tinted red from underneath his cap "But if you wanted me to model for you, you could've just said so"

With that, he rolls over and away from you. Completely baboozled, you roll over as well and try to sleep, or at least pretend to be asleep. Honestly, neither of you had slept much that night.

Kakyoin Noriaki

Kakyoin had a thing for you since you joined the crusaders, and your sketchbook is probably the very first thing he had noticed about you. He's always been interested in art, his parents had signed him up to numerous art courses and whatnot through his life. He's always loved drawing and painting, using it as an escape from his daily problems, and seeing that you two might have something in common makes him incredibly happy, especially since he has feelings for you.

He'll try to approach you about your sketchbook very subtely, afraid that he might scare you away by being too pushy. Of course you get extremely flustered everytime he brings it up, but it doesn't discourage him. Kakyoin respects your boundaries and understands that you might not be ready to show him your drawings yet. Despite that, he's always willing to share his knowledge with you. He'll give you advices about proper shading while you two are waiting in the hotel lobby for the rest of the group to finish up picking rooms. During a long car ride, he'll talk to you about his favourite artists. If you want him to show you how to put certain shading techniques into practice, he'll be more than happy to do so. He'll just pick a random piece of paper and start drawing on it, you might want to lean in closer and maybe put your head on his shoulder to get a better look? He has no objections! Just sayin.

When he eventually gets to see your sketchbook, this man is so honored! He didn't mean to look, at first he though it was just some book lying around and wanted to take a look inside, out off boredom. Once he realizes what he's reading at, his face flushes with crimson. Your sketchbook is filled with sketches of him? This whole time you were actually drawing him, out of all people? He couldn't be more grateful that no one else was around, if someone saw him reading through your comics with this stupid smile on his face and red cheeks, they would've though he went mad.

Kakyoin wastes no time trying to find you. For a moment, he thinks that perhaps he should've waited a bit, just to get you alone and not embarass you infront of the whole crew. He can't think straight though, his mind filled with your cute little drawings, with his face drawn with black pen over and over again. With glee, he notes that you had used the very techniques he had told you about earlier. If you had drawn him so many times, does it mean that you have a crush on him too? It's too good to be true.

"[Y/N]! Can I talk with you for a minute?"

He goes to confront you immediately. Others give him a puzzled look, but he couldn't care less. He grabs your arms and leads you away.

"Don't be mad [Y/N], but I've seen your sketchbook and I have to say, I think your art is beyond amazing!"

You're at loss of words, your face red and you could swear that you've never felt so embarassed in your whole entire life. However, his reaction is making you feel a bit better. He's not mad, nor is he making fun of you. If anything, he seems enamoured.

"Please, [Y/N], we should draw together! Maybe next time we have a chance, I should paint your portrait?"

Despite the awkwardness, the whole situation turns out amazing in the end. How he's sure you must have feelings for him, and it makes him incredibly happy, hoping that one day, after your crusade is done, he'll get a chance to repay you and make that promised portrait.

Muhammad Avdol

With everything that's been happening lately, Avdol gets a little bit distracted from you. Before he would steal glances your way all the time, watching with curiosity as you would draw something in your sketchbook. Recently, he's been too busy fighting enemy stand users and... well, trying not to die. He still cares about you a lot and watches over you during fights, ready to shield you from danger with his own body, if it's what it takes to keep you safe.

It probably happens because of a mishap. While you are deciding on your rooming, you leave your sketchbook lying next to Avdol's things and go to the bathroom. After he's done helping Joseph with translating and getting everything done, he goes back and assumes that it's just one of his books that has fallen out of the bag. Not thinking much of it, he picks it up and leaves with Mrs Joestar to settle in their shared room.

You can imagine the panic and shock that nearly paralyzes you once you notice that your beloved sketchbook is gone, nowhere to be seen, reduced to atoms! You begin to look around frantically, looking under the furniture while sweating profusely. Other quests give you weird looks, but you don't even notice them staring. Polnareff is one of them, he asks if you're okay and tries to calm you down, but to no avail. After he leaves, you try to focus really hard and try to remember - when did you see it last time? It was on that chair for sure when you left. God, you can only pray that it doesn't end up in Avdol's hands somehow...

Meanwhile, Avdol is getting ready for shower and goes through his bag. He notices the book he picked up from the lobby isn't even a book, but a sketchbook! Now he's sure he must've picked it up by mistake, he decides it would be best to put it down and not look through it. It's someone's very personal art after all, it would be very disrespectful to - wait a damn minute, is that HIM?

Long story short, he goes through a good portion of your drawings before Joseph comes out of the shower and gives him a puzzled look, seeing how his eyes are literally shinning with adoration. He puts your sketchbook back into his bag, acting as if nothing happened and continues on with his nightly routine. Later on, when Joseph is already fast asleep, he contemplates about whether or not he should go to your room right now and ask about the sketchbook he had found. He's already suspecting it's yours, whose else would it be? He has seen you drawing often, could it be that you returned his feelings and had spent your time sketching him? Ultimately, he decides to wait until tomorrow to find out.

The very next day, he knocks on your door early in the morning. It startles you awake, running up to your door to look through a peephole, seeing a muscular man on the other side. Sighing heavily, you unlock the door and open it just a little bit.

"Excuse my intrusion, [Y/N], but I have found something that I think belongs to you."

Now that's embarassing. You see your sketchbook in his hand, a wide, knowing smile on his face. He knows it's yours. All it took is one look at your stupid red face to figure it out. God, he can read you like an open book, can't he? While you reach out to take it from him, your fingers touch just slightly.

"Don't worry, I swear I won't tell anyone about this" she winked at you, which almost made you gasp "If anything, I think I should maybe pose for you in private? So you can get a better look? You should think about it..."

Who would've thought this man could be such a flirt sometimes...

Jean Pierre Polnareff

You better watch out, because if this man has a crush on you, you bet he would go above and beyond to find out what's inside that sketchbook. I'm not joking. He forgets what personal space is, he's even worse that Jotaro, because while JoJo would make sure to be sneaky, Polnareff wouldn't even bother. He'll try to catch a sneak peak by looking over your shoulder while you're drawing, constantly asking you questions about art related things, everything always leading to your sketchbook.

He wants to know what's inside. Simple as that. You're like an enigma to him, I feel like all women are mysteries to him and he always works towards finding out what their secrets are. You are especially interesting to him, because of how secretive you are with your art. He's captivated, and while he never had any interest in arts himself, he had always fancied himself as a man with a great sense of beauty. That being said, he's always trying to get your attention while talking about how "France is a wonderful country for artists! You should come and visit after our crusade is over, [Y/N]! I'll show you all the greatest museums and art galleries!"

He's like a puppy, following you around and being just a bit too pushy. If you tell him you feel uncomfortable, he'll back off of course. He's not just some juvenile pervert after all! He's a honourable man who would never touch or bother a woman without her permission, no matter how desperate he seems sometimes.

When he finally sees your sketchbook, it's probably because he did it on purpose and not because of an accident. He wanted to make sure that it was him your were capturing in your drawing, and boy was he happy when he saw what's inside! It's all him, cute little sketches, little comics, it's better that he could've ever imagined! He's literally crying the tears of joy while reading them. Before it was all just wishful thinking, but now it turns out to be true! He's honoured, admiring every single little drawing with hit tears streaming down his face. He must look pathetic right now, if anyone was around they would think the was a mad man. He gets up and runs away with your sketchbook in his hand, trying to find you.

"[Y/N]! Ma cherie! Mon coeur! My love, my life! We need to talk!"

Did i mention that he doesn't shy away from nicknames? Yeah.

It's probably the worst confrontation compared to the rest of them, he's not subtle like Kakyoin and decides to talk with you about your drawings right then and there, in front of everyone. At first they're surprised, looking at Polnareff as is he was crazy, but slowly their shock is replaced with amusement. Joseph doesn't even try to hold back his laughter, while the rest of the crew is trying to keep it cool as not to embarass you any further while the Frenchman is just going on and on with his declarations of undying love. It's a bit dramatic, one of these moments that you will probably laugh about in the future, but you felt like disappearing right then and there.

"Your drawing are magnifique! [Y/N], my love, if you wanted to draw me, you could've just said so! Although I don't think I deserve to be potrayed by you, to be drawn by your skilled hands, ma cherie!"

You snatch the sketchbook from him. After that incident you probably try to avoid him, but he won't give up! He's more determined than ever, knowing that you feel the same way as he does fills him with hope, hope for a future life with you that is! He won't give up until he makes you the happiest woman on earth.

I first encountered the term ‘2p!’ when I was a young weeb in the htalia fandom (I was never in Tumblr at that time though, I think I frequented DA for my content) and was fascinated at the concept because I get it, 2P means ‘second player/player 2’ like in videogames. Their colors get inverted and also their personality.

I was confused for a while and thought ‘was there a game??’, but no, artists just drew darker/inverted versions of the characters. The alter egos. The friendly and nice ones are now cold and mean, and vice versa. They called the AU ‘2p!talia’. I guess that was my first exposure to AUs. (i think i saw a glimpse of the hzbn hotel fandom doing this recently as well? the usual red-colored characters are all in blue, just like how 2P!Dream!Sans has dark blue colors as opposed to the bright yellows of his 1P! counterpart)

(speaking of alter egos and counterparts........................... if there are any old fans of shizaya,,, talk to me LOL)

There’s the genderbending/genderbent AU, saw it in anime fandoms, where they put the labels ‘fem!’ or ‘male!’ before a character’s name, swapping genders, “what would this character look like if they looked like the opposite gender?”, stuff like that.

I don’t know how or why ppl started using the exclamation points (ex. “genderbent!” , “swap!”) thing, instead of just writing “swap __ , fem __” but I think the “!” does make it seem more organized, if that makes sense?

And thennn here I am in the UT fandom around 2016-‘17, remembering that AUs are a Thing in Fandoms: ‘woah there’s an edgy version of this character, like 2P! (2p is more like an Opposite/Inverted AU now that I think about it)’ ‘woah there’s a swapped version! Cool!’ ‘YO SWAPFELL? NICE’ ‘oh god there’s so many AUs now holy crap-‘

I did kinda dip out of the fandom for some time, but when I came back (surprise, surprise, it was Deltarune that pulled me back in......... and also maybe Vade’s comic dub of that Mafiafell comic) and had to familiarize myself with the AUs once again, I noticed the abundance of Sanscest ships that aren’t the main 4 AUs. More content for my multishipper heart lmao

Like for example. The UTMV part of the fandom. Underverse being the inspiration(??) for content like Nightmare’s Gang, the Star Sanses- I really love how the community made them different yet similar despite being Sanses? It’s just so fun to think about!

We have the base- OG Sans Undertale. Classic, lazy, stinky boneman.

Swap!/US!Sans is, obviously, a swapped alternate. Energetic Sans, a bouncing ball of sunshine, has the Papyrus traits while still being a Sans. Cool Blue.

Cross was also?? derived from US!Sans?? A lot of people said he was a US!Sans and I’ve just accepted it-

Have I mentioned I love the found family trope going on with Nightmare’s Gang?? They might be the Bad Sanses, but they still care for eachother, and I love that so much actually. I love that they can get into funny shenanigans and I live for that (that bad sanses shitpost blog? i love that blog btw). Nightmare being the tired dad looking at his rowdy boys messing shit up in the castle again. Are they gently bullying teasing Cross? Seems like a normal day. So, every time there’s a ‘this is what the RWDEdom is like” thing going around from any toxic RWBY fans (who actually would be more likely to call us the hatedom not the RWDEdom) I’m very well equipped to see just how much bullshit goes into such a post. I look up the RWDE tag at least once a day and know all the frequent RWDE posters (at least except for the couple of them that I have on block.) 

Sometimes people will take a popular topic in the RWDE community at the time and talk about our takes, only twisting them horribly. For instance, during a time when Adam is getting talked about at length, people might make a post talking about how RWDE posters are obsessed with simping for Adam because they hate women. And I’ll be like “Well, you missed the whole point that half of us literally hate the character of Adam and that we were talking about *the racism involved in the White Fang arc he was intrinsically linked to,* but I suppose I can see how you either purposefully twisted that or misunderstood if you just saw ‘rwde posters are talking about Adam’ and made assumptions. But yes, you’re right that we’re talking about Adam atm.”

But sometimes, I’ll see or hear about what some toxic RWBY fans say we’re talking about and I’ll just be like 

Because some of the stuff that people say ‘the majority of the RWDE posters are like’ or even ‘a lot of RWDE posters are like,’ is totally off the wall, and like nobody talks about it! Like, I’m hearing that people are accusing RWDE posters of being Madoka Magica stans and of liking and not being critical of Celtic Phoenix’s ‘RWBY fix it’ stuff. And while I myself know pretty much nothing about either of those things (and from what little I do know about the RWBY fix-it, I actually think it doesn’t sound good, and is a re-write, not a ‘fix’ in the first place,) I’ve been super baffled, because I couldn’t recall almost any conversation in the RWDE tag about either of those things.

Today in order to make sure I wasn’t just forgetting, I scrolled down in the RWDE tag all the way to the fifteenth of last month, and do you know how many posts involved Madoka Magica or Celtic Phoenix?

Two Madoka Magica posts from a blog that only occasionally makes RWDE posts. Both posts about Madoka were about how weird it is that people are assuming that many RWBY critics like Madoka Magica.

Three Celtic Phoenix posts, two from that same blog that had posted the Madoka Magica posts, one of which was critical of the concepts of the re-write and I think one of the other two was about how weird it is that people are assuming that many RWBY critics like the RWBY fix-it.

I don’t think I missed any, though it’s possible, but that’s still a ridiculously low number of posts. I can only conclude that anyone who says that RWDE posters are defending Celtic Phoeniz and / or like Madoka Magica is literally basing their opinion off of one or maybe two blogs that they’re twisting the words of anyway.

Also, on this note, there’s people saying RWDE posters wish that RWBY was dark and gritty? No single post at least since November fifteenth that I can remember said they wanted RWBY to be dark and gritty, and most of the regular RWDE posters I know of want RWBY to be more hopeful. And people say RWDE posters are all a hive mind that never is allowed to step out of line or disagree? While I was scrolling, I saw several posts since November 15th where someone would get an anon, and start out by being like ‘gotta disagree on this,’ and I also saw posts that I remember kinda disagreeing about. And also, I started this out by noting that I may not see some things because I have some RWDE posters on block, because sometimes I’ve fought with RWDE posters. RWDE posters obviously sometimes disagree with each other.

I don’t understand the people who try so hard to pretend RWDE posters are mostly all just one thing, especially when it’s some off the wall thing like Madoka fans or approvers of this one random re-write someone did. I’m convinced some of them have never even looked at the RWDE tag in their life.

You and Morgan go way back

You've been friends for years when you first apply for a spot in the BAU

When you get the job, he's more than happy to give you the news himself by showing up at your apartment one night with beers and pizza por a celebration

On your first day, he shows you around headquarters and introduces you to the team

You already knew Emily, you had hang out together with her and Morgan before, and she welcomed you with a tight hug and smile

All the others seemed to be really good people, each one quite different from the other

Your first cases where quite difficult to deal with, the things you saw on the job and the psychos you dealt with were very different from the ones you saw in the division of the Bureau you had worked before

But the team was there for you, especially Derek, of course, so little by little you adapted yourself to that new reality

You grew surprisingly close to Reid, probably due to the fact that he liked that you were the one who never looked strangely when he said some random information no ordinary person should know. You found it interesting, and he would adorably blush everytime you said so

Also surprisingly, even more, was the fact that you develop a connection with your superior, Aaron Hotchner

It wasn't a great thing, really

He just asked for your opinion here and there randomly, quite often asked you to go in runs with him, sat close to you on the plane while flying and actually smiled when you both talked

You didn't saw anything there but oh, the team did

Derek swore he had never seen Hotch so comfortable during cases before. He never smiled like that at them, he rarely dropped the professionalism at all. But that wasn't the case when you were around

JJ almost couldn't hide her shock when Hotch laughed out loud after you said something funny in the plane, his laugh filling the place. She had looked at you like you had just won an Olympic Medal and later, admitted to share the same opinion Derek had. Something was different for Hotch when it came to you

The fact that they constantly insisted on the matter made you start to think about it and well, you realized you also acted strange around Agent Hotchner

If he as much as looked at you for more than a few seconds, you would feel like your body was heating up

Everytime he as much as fixed his tie... well, you had thoughts you definitely shouldn't have about your superior

Everytime you were together working on a case or even at headquarters talking, you could feel a smile curling your lips up and he smiled right back at you

He would bring you coffee sometimes and the others would raise their eyebrows at that gesture, not believing that was actually happening

Derek seemed to be having the fun of the century everytime he brought the subject of Aaron Hotchner to you suddenly.

"The expression in your face is priceless", he always said

In those times you would frequently slap his arm with quite a bit of anger and he would laugh for minutes straight

One night after a long case in LA that fortunately had a good outcome, the unsub getting caught and the victim that was being held hostage saved, he asked you out for a drink. In front of the whole team, not seeming to care at all about what they would think

In the bar, as you both shared a deserved, good drink together like you had wanted for a long time now, you asked him why he had asked you out in front of the others

"So they would have something to really gossip about now" he said and you smiled, taking a sip of your drink. Oh, you did like that man

In the next morning, you both met the team at the airport to head back to headquarters

Derek caught you alone for a moment and asked what had happened, with that curious look of a best friend

"We had drinks, head back to his room at the hotel and had wild sex all night long" you said with a calmness and a sweet smile on your lips. Seeing Derek's mouth hanging open and eyes widened, you laughed. "Oh Derek, the expression in your face is priceless"
