tbh the more i think about a matter of loaf and death, the more fucked up the entire bake-o-lite brand is. it's bread that supposedly makes you slimmer, and piella, their poster girl, was fired for gaining weight and being too heavy for the hot air balloon. damn no wonder piella hates bakers. this does not excuse her actions at all but still. sadly there are a lot of people nowadays who would jump at the chance to eat something like bake-o-lite if they think it'll help them lose weight.

"Good parent Daemon" more like straight up delusion but whatever ig

We literally do not see enough of Daemon as a parent to be able to call him "good", not to mention that what they did show is negative (not comforting his children after their mother died, not caring about them at her funeral, dragging them to his hasty marriage to their aunt, apparently foisting them off on Rhaenys when they might have wanted to stay with their one remaining parent, just straight up doesn't seem to remember they exist in episode 10). It's really annoying because a) they clearly wanted to do more with Daemon as apparent, as evidenced by the deleted scene where he talks to Baela and Rhaena about what happened and hugs them in comfort and b) it actually would have been good. There's clearly some attempt to make Daemon a sort of "might be a loathsome person but clearly deeply loves his family" which they kiiiiinda manage with his relationship with Viserys (they could have done better) and having that with his children would have been a great way to let that come across. Plus, it would have given him a deeply personal stake in the war beyond just being Rhaenyra's hype man, a parallel to Alicent worrying about her kids if Daemon was prince consort with Daemon worrying about his daughters, tied to widely thought bastards who are getting an entire war fought in order to make sure they're not on the throne, not to mention that Daemon, battled seasoned, would know that young women are some of the most at risk civilians when wars break out. And this isn't even touching on the fact that I'm not even sure if he remembers Aegon the Younger and Viserys even exist, when he should have had at least one scene with his baby sons. It's such an easy way to score sympathy for him.

But know, any inferences on Daemon being a good person are based on one still from a deleted scene and just straight up speculative fanfiction.
