Could we have some Zima relationship headcanons :]
;R1999 ZIMA - Relationship Headcanons
Compilation of headcanons about Zima in a romantic relationship.
ofc you can nonnie, ty for the request! Zima was the other character that got me into the game so he's very dear to me
also also, I'm not sick anymore so I have some steam to work on requests, hehe <3 still working on the sleepy fics though, don't worry yall!
I haven't done a proper analysis/HCs post on Zima yet, so as usual I'll be talking a little about his character before getting into the whole relationship aspect of things!
The portrayal of Zima as a stereotypical, shy introvert feels extremely reductive to me, especially when it's all attributed to his speech pattern - the pauses, the stuttering... None of it is an indication of timidness. We have to remember that Zima's native language, like many other characters, is not english and he struggles when speaking it. That's the reason he speaks in such a way, there's a language barrier he's constantly fighting against in order to communicate with others and yet he's clearly trying.
There's an emphasis on loneliness, isolation and avoidance in his character that is impossible to ignore, which seems to add to the whole portrayal of Zima as a "shy baby". But again, this is something that comes from an important part of his life - the exile he went through. Him being socially inept is a result of a punishment, years of being alone with no one but animals to keep him company. It doesn't come from a sense of inferiority or insecurity such as Charlie, but an absolute lack of human contact.
When examining his voicelines, we also see that he's opinionated - criticizing the Tsar and the poor living conditions of the people, speaking of the beauty of nature and so on and so forth. He explicitly writes poems on any surface like trees, rocks and snow, even if he knows they'll be washed away overtime.
I understand that it's extremely easy to dismiss Zima when it comes to romance because of all of these details, his isolating ways and all, but he's a poet first and foremost.
While he may not be romantic in the more traditional sense we're used to, he's extremely insightful and takes a lot of care to appreciate the small details that often go overlooked, but that make life feel more lively and rich. In the context of relationships, given his age and his lifestyle, Zima would bring a completely different type of vibe - for comparison, most of the characters I talked about already lean towards high emotions, the fun of discovering love for the first time, etc etc...
Pavia's love is a whole rollercoaster on his own because there's always the chance of either getting hurt or having the time of your life, Forget Me Not's feels exactly like being hungover in the morning. But Zima's love is more like coming home after a long trip, knowing there's a warm meal waiting for you. It's familiar and calm.
On the subject of Zima falling in love.
Zima is used to introspection, so I genuinely believe he has a strong sense of self and a good grasp on his emotions. He quickly realizes when he's fallen for someone and he accepts it easily, despite the lack of romantic interactions in his life. This is because the object of his affections is, most likely, someone he already cherishes, and who puts the effort into maintaining a good friendship with him - so the idea of being in love with them feels natural!
I can't see Zima pursuing romantic relationships with strangers and/or those outside his close circle, not even a surface attraction beyond artistic appreciation for someone's looks. He strikes me as the type who can only fall in love with those he trusts and knows.
And even then, his behaviour wouldn't change much!
It's obvious that he lacks friends, so the very few people he does have are extremely important to him - even so, Zima does not need to constantly orbit around them and will gladly spend days (and weeks if you don't actively seek him out) without seeing them, content to catch up with them whenever their paths cross. He shares what little he has to offer with everyone, practical things and knowledge. Zima is 100% that friend who disappears for months and returns as if nothing happened.
When it comes to you, it's the same. Sure, if you ask him to stay a little longer then he'll oblige you. And if you're the chatty type or find his work interesting, then he'll put the effort into having a conversation with you despite the language barrier. But that's about it, the changes aren't noticeable no matter how much he loves you, because all of that happens when no one is looking.
If you happen to stroll around in the wilderness, getting lost in the forest and all, then you might find your name carved on trees along with many, many poems. If you don't speak or read russian, then all you'll be able to recognize is your name - the very first thing Zima taught you in his native tongue - but these are all declarations of love.
The animals are kinder to you, curious even. They follow and treat you like an old friend, as if they knew you, because everything they've heard from you comes from Zima himself. They speak about everything and anything with him, after all.
Zima lacks the initiative to confess or even consider being in a proper relationship with you - I insist, he's genuinely content with being a close friend - but he also lacks the restraint to keep his feelings to himself and thus puts them on display in the only way he knows how: as a poorly kept secret between himself and the nature that surrounds him.
Not many think of him as a romantic because of how stoic he is, but when Zima is in love, he sees you in every flower, in the snowflakes that fall and kiss his nose. You're the gentle summer breeze and the crystal clear rivers once winter ends. You're right there beside him in spirit when he sees little chicks take flight for the first time, or when all the other forest critters wake up after hibernating. Zima finds beauty in every aspect of nature, and he sees you everywhere he looks.
That said, there's no way he'll take the first step. That's entirely up to you, to pick up all these things and confront him about it - that's the only time he'll be open and direct about his feelings. Because you already know how much you mean to him!
Zima would love to teach you his native language.
This is partially me projecting because english isn't my native language either, but I do like to think that Zima's english is all self-taught. He understands when others speak english, but isn't as fluent when speaking himself. And that's why it's sooo infuriating and frustrating for him, as a creative person and poet.
Not only because it's harder to communicate with others, but because his work and poems - the most important part of himself - can't be fully understood. Therefore HE can't be fully understood. Some translations, while good, can't even come close to their original meaning. As his partner, Zima wants you to understand the full depth of his affections and thoughts.
I do think that the process of learning would also be quite organic, starting with Zima simply pointing out at things and teaching you the way they're named in russian, basic stuff he does unconsciously. If you pick up things on your own from his work and his translations, Zima will be over the moon and would ask you to repeat yourself to make sure your pronunciation is right and because he loves the way his language sounds with your accent.
But if you approach and ask him to properly teach you? He's gone, instantly overwhelmed with emotion and thoughts racing in his head, trying to organize a million different things - what would be the best way to teach you? Should he start with the alphabet? You want to learn this brand new language to understand him better, that simple gesture is a huge deal for him.
Once you have a pretty good grasp on the language, at least enough to have basic conversations with him, it will feel like Zima has gotten a little bolder - addressing you with pet names, being generally more blunt and talkative... But in fact, he's just finally able to express himself in his totality.
This also goes the other way around - Zima would love to learn your own native language, whether it's english or something else. It's yet another language he can use to express himself, so it's a win-win. And I know that it's common for us multilingual people to start confusing and mixing all the languages we speak, but I think Zima would have an easy time keeping them apart, so to speak!
On the subject of Zima and how he acts when he's in a relationship.
You two were close friends before you were lovers, so Zima doesn't feel any sort of pressure to live up to some dating standards like fancy dates, gifts or grandiose displays of affections - once again, it's all about what feels natural. You two know each other more than enough to simply fall into a comfortable routine that works out for both.
He does make the effort to drop by more often, to find a middle ground until he feels more comfortable and used to being around large groups of people. But he would also insist that you accompany for his walks in search of inspiration for his work!
When it comes to showing affection, I think Zima might be a little touchstarved - casual physical contact such as someone hugging or patting him on the back as a greeting still catch him by surprise, but affectionate gestures with those he trusts and loves is a novelty that leaves Zima starry-eyed.
He has a lot of things that he needs to slowly get used to again now that he's not exiled in the middle of the woods, but having you shower him with affection is something that he grows to like rather quickly. When you pet him, pepper his face with kisses, hold his hand when walking or hug him - it doesn't matter, Zima will always stand there, fascinated with the way you make him feel, so very warm and safe.
He would appreciate a warning before being touched, and he always makes sure to ask before initiating anything himself - it doesn't matter how many times you tell him that you're fine with this sort of contact, he's going to ask for permission anyway. Just out of politeness. Personal space is important, after all.
I think Zima would try to stick to a routine he can follow without overwhelming himself, especially if you're the type to need more attention (again, Zima will literally disappear for weeks if left to his own devices). It's more of a short list of things he needs to remember to do before the day is over, the two most important ones being greeting you in the morning and wishing you goodnight.
As for more general aspects of a relationship, I don't think there's much to say! Arguments with him rarely happen because he's patient and careful with his words, he communicates his needs and boundaries as well as he respects yours and all. Zima isn't that talkative, but his more "eccentric" traits are something you're probably used to on account of that initial bond and trust.
#reverse 1999#reverse: 1999#reverse 1999 x reader#reverse 1999 headcanons#reverse 1999 zima#basically zima is emotionally mature and responsible so hes OBJECTIVELY the safest option out of all guys if youre looking for a partner#the worst thing that can happen is that he just forgets to tell you that he needs time alone to cool off and he disappears for 2 weeks#BUT YOU KNEW THAT WHEN YOU SIGNED UP TO BE HIS BUDDY SO ITS FINE#i got very fluffy with this one bc i love him so much okay no one look t me#hes not a baby hes a grown ass man!!!! but hes so cute!!!!! and i wanna kiss him!!!!!!!!#i wanna do a post analyzing him and all but my god. i dont know nearly enough abt russian history to even GO there

My Better Bitter Half, Part 11
Apologies for taking so long but we back baby.
How well do we really know our parents? Take my father. I've always considered him an open book. A man given to misguided schemes and exaggerated displays of affection. But when he was a student, he was accused of a murder that took place right up there. Which leads me to wonder...what really happened that stormy night 32 years ago?
You, your sister Wednesday and, possible crush Enid stood together listening to the drivel that principal Weems was spewing.
“Nevermore was created as a safe haven for our children to learn and to grow, no matter bI realize most of you have heard about the unfortunate incident involving one of our students.bBut I'm happy to report that Eugene is on the mend and is expected to make a full recovery.bSo let's focus on the positive and make this Parents' Weekend our very best yet.” Weems said.
“On the mend?” Wednesday said.
“Try in a coma.” You chime in, Enid turns to Wednesday and you.
“Have you been to see him? You're his friends.”
“I'm the reason he's in the hospital.” Wednesday said, and Enid attempts to console her.
“That is not your fault, okay?” She says, and you raise an eyebrow.
“Well… technically speaking“ you start, Enid glares at you, convincing you to stop speaking. You close your mouth and shrug.
“Besides, The monster hasn't attacked anyone in the past week. Maybe you finally scared it off.” Enid explains, and you rub your chin, pondering.
“Or maybe it went into hiding to avoid this weekend. Too many people… they want to avoid getting caught.” You say, suddenly your eyes catch a glimpse of black, three figures, Mother, Father, and Pugsley. Wednesday also notices the family arriving.
“I knew I should have worn my plague mask.” Wednesday said.
“Would you look at my family?” Enid looks over to her howling family.
“Talk about toxic pack mentality. I give my mom 30 seconds before her judge-y claws come out. Let's get this over with.” She said, the students agree and go to face their family.
“There he is. Oh, how we missed those devilish eyes and youthful glare.” Morticia, your mother hugged you sternly, and you happily accepted her love, as decrepit as it was..
“Madré!” You say, hugging her. Spotting your father you also reciprocate a hug.
Padre! How are you father?” You say, you see how uncomfortable Wednesday is, obviously human interaction was not her strong suit.
“How are you, my little rain cloud?” Morticia hugs her daughter.
“I thought Thing was filling you in on my every move.” Wednesday says, Morticia and Gomez look surprised that she knows, and you casually chime in.
“You didn’t think we wouldn’t notice?” You smirk, standing next to Wednesday.
“I uncovered your feeble subterfuge almost immediately.”
“We.” you chime in.
“So, how's the little fella doing? Does he still have all his fingers?” Gomez says.
“Relax. I haven't snapped any of his digits. Yet.”
“So tell us everything.”
“Since you've abandoned me here, I've been hunted, haunted... and the target of an attempted murder.”
Much to no one surprised, the Addams Re reveled in it. Morticia and Gomez reach the Principals office with the family. morticia looks at her old yearbook with Principal Weems
“I haven't laid eyes on this in over 20 years. Such good times we had, didn't we, Larissa?”
“Some of us better than others.”
“Oh, don't be so modest. You always filled a room with your presence. Like a stately sequoia tree.”
“And I guess that would make you the lumberjack.”
The two engage in passive aggressive softball, and you couldn’t enjoy it more, sneering.
“There's that biting sense of humor that I always adored. Do you remember when we did that duet for the Solstice Talent Show? Your Judy Garland impression was a dead ringer.” Morticia says.
“Sounds positively suicidal.” Wednesday said.
“I’d love to see it. Im sure Wedensday would agree.” You say, crossing your leg as you wink at Wednesday, who stares daggers at you. Morticia notices something off.
“Oh. My picture's gone.”
“Really? Well, that is odd.” Weems says, feigning innocence.
“May I borrow this for the weekend? That way Gomez and I can take a little walk down memory lane.” She says to her husband, they gawk at each other which only makes Weems more, uncomfortable.
“All right. Let's get down to the matter at hand, shall we? Unfortunately, Wednesday's assimilation has been rocky at best.”
“Because I refuse to embrace the culture of dishonesty and denial permeating this school.
Starting with the monster that killed Rowan and put Eugene in the ICU.” She says, you raise your finger.
“Although I do hear he's on the mend.” You say with a grin, Weems puts on a smile, a fake one.
“We've always encouraged our children to speak their minds.” Gomez said
“Sometimes her sharp tongue and his serrated wit can cut deep.” Gomez says.
“Apparently her therapist feels she hasn't been very open to the process. Their time together has not yielded the results we'd hoped.” Weems explains
“I'm not a lab rat.” Wednesday said in retort.
“I say more like a, Crow. A lab crow.” You say, Your sisters cold glare was in the corner of your eye.
“I believe Wednesday should get the help she deserves.” You say, only adding more fuel to the fire and Weems Agrees.
“Dr. Kinbott and I have spoken, and we both agree it would be most beneficial for you all to attend a family session this weekend.” She said, and the word “family” made you halt.
“Wait.. family?” You ask. “Absolutely not.”
“No.” Wedensday shuts it down quickly, and Weems shakes her head.
“I thought that might be your reaction, but your parents can see the wisdom in it.”
“Um, not to side with Wednesday, but, um, we're only here for the weekend.” Morticia says, and Gomez spoke up.
“Oh, come on. What can it hurt? To be honest, I've always been a big fan of head-shrinking.”
“It's not that kind of head-shrinking, father.” You say, now having the annoyed cadence of your sister.
“Well, that is disappointing. But anything for our kids.” Morticia says, much to the annoyance of the twins.
The Therapy session began as (Y/n), Wednesday and Pugsley sat in the middle with both Morticia and Gomez at sides, Kinbott looks at the full Addams family with gleaming hope.
“So, who wants to start?” She said, it was silent, until she asked again.
“Maybe we can discuss what it's like having Wednesday away from home?” She said, and Pugsley began.
“I mean, for me....it's been hard not having (Y/n) and Wednesday around. I never thought I'd miss being waterboarded and Used as a host for ghosts so much.” Pugsley admits.
“Morticia, Gomez. How have you been coping?” Kinbott asks them.
“It's been torture for us too.”
“Fortunately, my brother Fester's rack fits two people.”
“Nothing like a good stretch to bring out the best in each other.” Morticia says and the two simply cannot get their hands off of Each other.
“Enough!” Wednesday said, actually letting her anger out. And not many times, (Y/n) agrees.
“I think it's high time my parents faced the music. It seems they've been lying to me.
Keeping secrets. Murderous secrets that need to be addressed. Who was Garrett Gates, and why are you accused of murdering him?” Wednesday asks her father, (Y/n) squints his eyes and slowly turns to Gomez.
“…Father?” He asks, which Gomez’s attitude shifts, and Morticia quickly intervenes
“Those charges were dropped. Your father is an innocent man.”
“Local sheriff doesn't seem too convinced.”
“Wednesday, stop. This is neither the time nor the place.”
“Mother, did you know about this?” (Y/n) asks Morticia.
“(Y/n), now isn’t the time for this.” She said.
“Actually, this is exactly the place.” Kinbott chimes in. “These sessions are—“
“Doctor. This does not concern you. And I refuse to debate a decades-old witch-hunt with you right now.” Morticia says.
“Darling, maybe we should...” Gomez says.
“No. This session is over.”
“Have it your way, Mother.” Wednesday stood up and stormed off.
“Wednes... Wednesday?”
“If you refuse to tell me the truth, I'll just have to excavate it myself.” She walks off, and Morticia follows.
“What were you thinking? How could you ambush your father like that? Wednesday.”
“How could I? You insisted I go to this school.
Did you really think I wouldn't find out your secret?”
“You don't know the full story. Your father did nothing wrong.”
“I'll be the judge of that.” Wednesday walks off, (Y/n) exits the building to see his sister leave, and he follows, Wednesday enters the hospital and makes her way to Eugene’s room, he follows silently until she sits at his side.
“I harvested hive number three. The bees miss you, Eugene. We all do.” Wednesday said, (Y/n) smiles and gently taps on the door. Wednesday quickly turns around and sees her brother.
“How long have you been listening?” She said.
“Long enough to see you care.”
“I don’t.”
“Sure you don’t.” (Y/n) walks next to his sister, looking at Eugene. A heated rage begins to overtake him.
“He didn't deserve this. I should be in that bed.” Wednesday says, and (Y/n) shakes his head…
“It isn’t your fault, it’s the monster who did this, and we will find him, I can assure you of that. Now Cmon, we have to get back to Mother and Father, you’d hate to make they worry.” (Y/n) says with sarcasm. Wednesday reluctantly follows. The twins return to eat with their family.
“Mmm. I am famished. You're not hungry, darling?” Morticia says to her daughter, (Y/n) was too busy looking over at Enid.
“My appetite eludes me, Mother.” She replies; Enid is forced to sit with her family,
“So are you going to make me ask?” Her mother says, and Enid assumes she means the Addams boy who’s making dreamy eyes at her.
“Well.. (Y/n) and I haven't defined our relationship yet, even if it is one—“
“I'm not talking about boys. Have you wolfed out yet?” She says, Enid inhaled sharply and out on a smile.
..”No.”
“Well, that is a disappointment.”
“That's me. A huge disappointment…” she says, (Y/n) sees how sad she is, he stands up and walks over, he adjusts his clothes and smiles.
“Excuse me.” He says, he offers a handshake.
“You must be Miss Sinclair.” He says and takes her hand, the woman puts on a smile as Enid was now panicking. Her crush and now her overbearing mother meeting.
“I’m really sorry but I have to speak with Enid, just for a moment.”
“Alright? Don’t try anything—“
“Mom!” Enid says though her teeth, he leads Enid away and he sighs.
“I’m sorry to pull you from your family—“
“No it’s fine, I actually wanted to ask you something.”
“You did? What?” (Y/n) asks.
“Well… I, don’t know how to feel after the dance…” she begins.
“You, didn’t have fun?” (Y/n) asks, and Enid shakes her head.
“No, of course I did! It’s just… you’re like my best friend, besides Wednesday, you’re.. more than my best friend.. someone I really care about.
“I’d.. like that.. to be more… I know you’re still heartbroken after Ajax..” (Y/n) begins, Enid watches but slowly peers over his shoulder to see what’s going on.
“Uh.. (Y/n)?”
“And I don’t want to be a replacement I, I want to be more than that, I want to be…”
“(Y/n)… your, dad.”
“What I’m trying to say is that I want you to be my Girl—“
“Your dads getting arrested!” She yells. (Y/n) stops and turns around to see his father being taken away by police.
“Gomez Addams. You're under arrest for the murder of Garrett Gates. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law.”
“Father?”
“You have the right to an attorney. If you cannot afford one, one will be appointed for you.” (Y/n) can only watch as his father is taken away, god only knows what hellscape awaits.
The Twins stood at the blocked off prison visiting room, as their father sits solemnly at the seat. He sees the two stand there.
“My little tormenta, how's your mother?” Gomez asks Wednesday first.
“Devastated. She hates you in orange. I caught her laying a rose on a grave earlier today. The headstone read "Garrett Gates." The very boy you've been arrested for murdering. Care to explain?” She says, and (Y/n) nods.
“It’s best for everyone, father, elaborate.” He said, and Gomez explains.
“Garrett was infatuated with your mother. He mistook her kindness for interest. His infatuation turned into obsession, and he started stalking her.”
“Why didn't you call the police?”
“We tried. But his family were the oldest and richest in Jericho, But No one believed us. Garrett's father, an outcast-hating bigot, was furious that your mother had accused his only son. It all came to a head the night of the Rave'N Dance. Your mother and I stepped out to catch our breath. And that's when I saw him. He had broken into the school. His twisted love for your mother had made him insane. His eyes bore into me, brimming with murderous intent. My life flashed before my eyes. Driven by jealousy and hate, Garrett was When I saw the sword, my survival instinct kicked in. It was a terrible accident.” Gomez says, (Y/n) and Wednesday look at each other. (Y/n) motions his sister over and they speak out of hearing range from their father.
“If I'm being objective, his confession sounds entirely plausible, delivered with the perfect degree of sincerity. Perhaps father is exactly what he says.” Wednesday said.
“I agree; although father has a magnificent poker face, I think he’s telling the truth, but then again, what other rotting skeletons are in his closet, let’s play it safe.” (Y/n) said, they walk back and speak at the same time.
“Thank you for being honest with us.”
“I'm sorry I wasn't a better father.” He says, trying to hold back tears, Wednesday had no emotion, (Y/n) sighed.
“Could we please do without the overt display of emotion?” Wednesday demands, and forms composed himself.
“How many fathers hand their daughter a fencing blade when she's five?”
“Your saber strokes were an essay in perfection.”
“How many fathers would teach their son how to beat a lie detector?”
“It’s all about your heartbeat.”
“Or teach her how to swim with sharks?”
“They found you as cold-blooded as I do.”
“The right way to flay a rattlesnake?”
“They really do taste like chicken when prepared properly.”
“The point is, you taught us how to be strong and independent.” Wednesday begins, and (Y/n) adds in.
“And..How to navigate in a world full of treachery and prejudice. You are the reason we understand how imperative it is that we never lose sight of who we are, no matter what life throws at us.” (Y/n) looks into the eyes of his father, showing he means everything he says.
“So as far as fatherhood goes, I would say you've been more than adequate.” Wednesday said, and Gomez holds back a year.
“Gracias, (Y/n), Wednesday.”
The visitation ends and the two step out of the jail.
“We’ll have to consider all of this…” (Y/n) said, Wednesday also agrees and turns to (Y/n).
“You need to… console, Pugsley.”
“Why me?” (Y/n) asks, and Wednesday stares at him.
“… Yeah, I suppose you trying to comfort him would be… an issue.” (Y/n) chuckles, Wednesday turns her head forward.
“I’m going to.. convince the sheriff to hear me out.”
“As long as you don’t wind up behind bars as well, go for it.” He says, they split up and leave, (Y/n) walked past multiple happy families, (Y/n) approached the lake with a bag in hand, he peers over to see Pugsley sitting down.
“Go away.”
Pug, You forgot your fishing gear.”
“I know you’re just trying to be nice to make me forget about dad. You’re being honest…It doesn't suit you.”
“That’s… fair. Father packed your favorite bait.” He sits next to him and digs into the bag, and grabs a hand grenade.
“What'll happen to him now?” He asks, and (Y/n) primes a grenade and casually tosses it into the water.
“Well, he's confessed, so there won't be a trial. After he's sentenced, he'll be sent to a state penitentiary, where he'll lose his mind being separated from Mother. Did you know they haven't spent a night apart since they tied the knot?”
“I always thought You’d be the first one in the family behind bars.” Pugsley said, (Y/n) shrugged.
“Funny enough, Wedensday nd I had a bet going… she owes me everything in her will.”
The water explodes deep down, and dead fish float up.
“That's quite a catch. Take the shrapnel out and we have a good feast.”
“I'm gonna miss him, (Y/n).”
“It's not over yet. He's innocent.”
“Well, if anyone can figure out who really committed the crime... it's you and Wednesday, you two work really well together. You have to find out the truth and free Dad.”
Pugsley’s words, so endearing. (Y/n) grits his teeth and nods.
“I will. I will Pugsley…Well, until that happens, we both know Mother will be falling apart.
Which means we have to be strong. And by "we," I mean you. Definitely not me.” He says, the brothers spend more time together before (Y/n) left the forest, as he walks out, his ears pick up the sound of sniffling. He halted as he searched for the origin of the sound, what caught his eye was the bright pink vest. He immediately recognized the color. He peers over to Enid sitting behind a tree, crying.
“Enid?” He asks, she looks up to him, her makeup a mess as it seems she’s been at it for a while, (Y/n) sits next to her.
“Is.. something wrong?” He asks, Enid looks at him like a sad, hurt puppy.
“It’s my mom she, wants to send me to… to..”
“To?”
“Conversion therapy! Like I’m some sort of disappointment!” She looks so hurt, (Y/n), not knowing how to console someone, he sighs and speaks from his black heart.
“Enid… you don’t need to wolf out to be a Weerwolf or, find a mate. Even without those powers, you’re unique, sparkly, bubbly, so kind and.. beautiful.” (Y/n) says, looking at the ground, enid looks up at him, perplexed.
“You.. think so?”
“Of course I do! You’re the only person who makes looking at pink bearable.” He says, his hand gently placed on hers. “If my father taught me anything, it’s to be yourself.. unapologetically, which…” he trails on.
“Ive.. been meaning to say this Enid, but I’ve had no luck, I want to ask.. will you—“
“(Y/n)!”
He hears his voice being called, he very didn’t much want to turn his attention to it, but he did, and he saw his sister approach.
“You have got to be kidding me..” he says, he was dragged away by his sister.
“Wednesday this better be good.”
“Father didn’t Kill Garrett. Neither did mother.”
Wednesday said dropping a bombshell, which raises the eyebrow of the Twin.
“Then.. who did?”
“Himself.”
“Okay, elaborate.”
“Mother told me what truly happened, she was protecting father when he attacked, but Garrett was foaming at the mouth. His eyes didn't look human. Foaming saliva, dilated pupils, mental confusion. What are those all textbook symptoms of?”
“Nightshade poisoning…” (Y/n) gets it, and puts everything together.
“He was dead before Mother stabbed him…”
“There's only one way to find out.” Wednesday said, and (Y/n) frowns, he knows what that means.
Late in the night, at the Grave of Miles Garrett, the twins dig his corpse up, both going to the graveyard as they dig up his casket, Morticia stands above them, watching the two.
“This reminds me of when you got your first grave-digging kit. You were so happy, you nearly smiled.” Morticia said, (Y/n) grumbles.
“Are you sure you don't want to join?” Wednesday asks.
“Uh... mm... No, that's okay, darling. I don't want to spoil your fun.” She says.
“This isn’t fun, mother, Digging up graves is for knaves and psychopaths.” (Y/n) jams into the earth again and feels a loud bang, they stop and uncover the decrepit tomb.
“Moment of truth.” Wednesday and (Y/n) open the tomb, the waft of rubbish bond and decaying flesh hits their nostrils. Wednesday seems to enjoy it. (Y/n) isn’t as enthusiastic as his sister. He looks over the corpse.
“I was right.” She points to the inner pocket, seeing hints of a stained blue liquid.
“Nightshade..” (Y/n) reaches in and grabs a finger, and with a quick and sharp twist, effortlessly removes his finger.
“Alright, now.. all we have to do is—“
“Well, well, what do we have here?” Someone from behind all three of they spoke, the twins popped their hands from the grave to see a police cruiser aiming their headlights at them, the second in command.
“Guess there's gonna be an Addams family reunion in lockup tonight. You're all under arrest.”
(Y/n) is locked up with his father, and Wednesday with her mother. Wednesday stands there, silent, as (Y/n) Taps his foot, fuming. Morticia and Gomez were all over each other
“Get comfortable. You can post bail in the morning.” Sherrif Galpin glares at the twins and leave..
“Not even the long arm of the law could keep us apart.”
“At least we'll have one last night together.
Yes.”
“I've seen jackals with more self-control than you two.” Wednesday glares at her parents lost in love.
“Neither one of you are strong enough to serve hard time. And thanks to me, you won't have to.” (Y/n) stops taping his foot.
“I knew our little jailbird would have an escape plan.”
“It seems Wednesday was correct about Garrett, He died from nightshade poisoning.”
“The remarkable preservation of soft tissue and blue tint confirms it. Which means Garrett was dying...Before you stabbed him.”
“You look even more ravishing as an innocent woman!”
“For once, could you two get off of each other and focus.” Wednesday said, (Y/n) agrees.
“Yes, we need to get this to the mayor, and he will drop all charges, all we need is someone to bring it to them.. someone we trust.. Pugsley.” (Y/n) says
“No.” Wednesday replies flatly.
“.. Lurch?”
“No.”
“…Uncle Fester“
“Absolutely not.” Wednesday said, (Y/n) walks to the edge of the cell.
“Well what do you suggest then? break out of here?” He says, Wednesday walks over and snatched the finger from his hand, and suddenly, she had a vision.,
“Prove to me you're still worthy to be called my son! Kill all those outcasts! Sneak into that dance and spike the punch bowl.” Those words rang through her. She sat up from her episode and her family obviously looks concerned.
“Did you have a vision?”
“What happened?”
“What did you see?”
“The night Garrett died, he had a vial of nightshade poison that broke in his pocket.
He wasn't just trying to kill father. He was going to use the nightshade poison to murder the entire school.” She says, the family look at each other. A sly grin creeps along the face of her brother.
“Oh I’m going to enjoy this…”
“Thank you for seeing us at such short notice, Mr. Mayor.”
The twins stand before the mayor, after being in jail for approximately 4 hours.
“Yes, well, veiled threats have that effect.”
“Then let’s cut to the chase, Garrett Gates wasn't killed by a stab wound.” (Y/n) goes first, then Wednesday places the severed finger on his desk.
“That blue sheen is a telltale sign of nightshade poisoning.” Wednesday said.
“But you already knew that, dont you mayor? Because back when you were sheriff, you were in charge and covered it up.”
“Ansel Gates hated outcasts and Nevermore.
He claimed the land the school was built on was stolen from his family over 200 years ago.
Garrett went there that night to spike the punch and kill all the kids at that dance.” The twins deliver a fairly clear shut argument, and the mayor grumbles, and confesses.
“Ansel confessed the whole thing to me in a drunken stupor. It was his idea.”
“Then Why did you instruct Dr. Anwar to falsify the autopsy report? You knew the truth about how he really died.”
“Listen, my job was to keep the peace. If there had been a trial, Jericho's and Nevermore's reputations would have been trashed.”
“I think the only reputation you were worried about ruining was your own.”
“I remember Garrett bragging to me that his father had the sheriff in his pocket. One year later, you get elected mayor. Hmm. No doubt with the full support of Ansel Gates.”
“I resent your implication.”
“I resent the fact you decided to cover up a potential Genocide of an entire school by a bigoted drug crazed maniac to save the face of this place. The truth stings, doesn’t it mayor?” (Y/n) said with a cold bite.
“What I resent is that you could have prevented Garrett's death if you had done your job when I lodged my complaint about him stalking our Mother.” Wednesday snaps back, The mayor was at a loss, and gave in.
“What do you want?” He asks them.
“All charges dropped. Our father will be released with a full and unequivocal apology from the sheriff's office. Do we have a deal?” (Y/n) asked, and the Mayor gave in.
The twins exit the building as (Y/n) thinks, and decides to speak about it.
“Have you spoken to mother about your visions? You know she could help you. You’d only have to ask Wednesday, we’re family.” He said. Wednesday was silent for a moment, and he continues.
“We’re Navigating this, treacherous shoal of our sibling relationship. But I'm always here for you, Wednesday. Mother, father, Pugsley, unfortunately.” He says.
“I’ll.. consider speaking to her.” Wednesday says, and (Y/n) sighs with relief. Gomez and Morticia We’re Released and All hugged, besides Wedensday.
“Don't crowd me.”
The next and final day, (Y/n) approached Enids family with her Next to him, they stopped and he motions for her to go.
“Stick to yourself, I know you’ve got this.” He says, and Enid walks to her mother, ready to stand her ground. Enid approached and her mother was already hounding her.
“So, it's decided. Six weeks at Camp Howl.
You'll need to pick which activity—“
“No, I don't. Because I'm not going. Not this summer. Not ever. If I'm meant to wolf out, then I'm going to do it on my own timeline and not yours. I hope that one day, you'll finally accept me for who I am.” Enid turns and sees (Y/n) smile, giving her a nod of approval.
(Y/n) returns back to his family as Wednesday was reluctantly being hugged goodbye.
“Don't push it.”
“Well, at least we can't say Parents' Weekend wasn't a nail-biter.” Gomez said.
“I knew you didn't have what it takes to be a murderer.” Wednesday says flatly,
“As much as that stings, gracias, my little death trap.” Gomez gives his daughter a hug, and turns to his son.
“A devious as always, my boy.” Gomez grins and (Y/n) smugly bows.
“Of course, manipulating the mayor into freeing my family a stroke of genius.” (Y/n) replies, and he and his father continue to laugh about it, Wednesday and Morticia watch them, she sighs happily and then goes back to her daughter, and she hands her the yearbook.
“As I leafed through the pages of this yearbook, I was reminded of all the wonderful times I had here. But they were just that. Mine.
You have your own path to blaze. I don't want to be a stranger in your life, darling. If you need me for anything, anything at all, I'm only a crystal ball away.”
“Thank you, Mother.” Wedensday looked blankly at her, but under those eyes was love, the Addams leave, letting the twins look into the book, and at a page of Weems.
“Hm… her Judy Garland costume was phenomenal..”
“…no.”
“No?”
“That isn’t a costume… she looks exactly like her.”
“Wednesday that’s impossible, the only way she could if Weems could shape her body to match hers.”
“…like a shape shifter?” Wedensday asks.
“Most likely, yes.” (Y/n) replies; Wednesday immediately slams the book shut and quickly walks off.
“Wednesday?” (Y/n) asks, and she bursts into Weems office.
“I knew it. I did witness Rowan getting murdered that night.” Wedensday stopped at the foot of the desk.
“Excuse me?” Weems asks.
“When Rowan appeared the next morning, it was you. When you participated in the talent show, not only did you impersonate Judy Garland, you became her. You're a shape-shifter.” Wedensday accuses her, and Weems scoffs at her.
“That's a fascinating theory.”
“I'm curious to find out how Sheriff Galpin feels when I tell him.” Wedensday says threateningly, Weems stands up, slowly showing her towering height.
“You won't tell a soul, Miss Addams. And it wouldn't matter much if you did. Rowan's father already knows what happened, and he fully supports my decision not to involve the authorities.”
“Why would he agree to that?”
“Because Rowan was not in his right mind. His telekinetic abilities were driving him mad and he attempted to murder you twice. His tragic death allowed us to rectify the situation without casting the school or Rowan in an unflattering light.” Weems explains the cover up.
“You and Mayor Walker are the same, aren't you? Burying bodies to cover your dirty secrets.”
“I did what I needed to do to shield this school from controversy and protect its students from harm.”
“Tell that to Eugene. How are you protecting him?”
The two continue to bicker, until (Y/n) bursts in.
“Principal Weems, Wedensday… you have to see this.” He rushes back and the two follow out to the yard as they bear witness. Flames dance in their eyes, seeing words burned into the ground, this was a message, who knows the borrows that are yet to come

My favourite quotes and facts from "Wolfgang Graf Berghe von Trips - Biographie von Reinold Louis'
Warning: I've been translating this book from German to English as I read and took down notes, so some of the quotes are not grammatically correct or sound off due to the translator
• He believed in God
• His mother nicknamed him 'Little Wolf'
• Up until age six Wolfgang von Trips grew up alone away from children, so when he first went to school with others he was beaten by mean kids as he didn't know how to interact around them
• "I was never beaten. With one exception: when I was said to have lied, which wasn't true. I was always raised to be completely honest and have always followed this. That's why I was incredibly insulted at the time because people didn't believe me and because I felt the punishment was unfair." -p23
• The first time he drove a car on public roads was when he was 14 and out horse riding with his dad. His dad's horse got spoked and his dad fell off and smashed his nose. Wolfgang was unable to keep control of his horse so had to let him go and hope he went back the stable (which he did) while Wolfgang ran home, told his mum what had happened and got a family car out, drove it through the village to his dad and then drove him to the doctors
• "I had to stand in front of this Christmas tree and the nativity scene and recite my Christmas poem: 'I come from deep in the forest, I have to tell you, it's very Christmassy...' The memory of this is very deeply embedded in me. -p26
• Wolfgang was intrested in astronomy but never got the time to look more into it
• He didn't like spinach
• "What I saw of the war back then, what I had to go through myself, affected me very much and, as they say, I literally collapsed and was then sent home." - p34
• "I said that I was once very idealistic and devoted myself to all things that in our country were called war and defense of the fatherland. And now the war was lost. That was actually a complete inner breakdown for me because I simply didn't know where I belonged now." - p37
• "I had never been on a motorcycle before, so I had a crazy fear of the monster. But I dreamed of her and I wanted to take her to bed with me." - p42
• When Wolfgang was at his boarding school with his car, him and his friends would sneak over into the French border in his car and smuggle back wine to drink
• Wolfgang was arrested once in front of the British soilders as he had been trading farm food for tyres with a British soilder but then the British soilder died and some other soldiers discovered the tyres on Wolfgangs car and thought he had stole them
• "First day alone on Kreuzeck then Zugspitze, met 2 girls. Next day Wank. Met the ice revue girls again in the evening. Lived near me. From then on we toured together. Both quite nice. One too sensible. Other fall in love with me. Those were nice days"
• "I don't have a single real friend there either. I socialize like that with everyone, but it's not the right thing. The boys are completely different from here." - P49
• Wolfgang really liked going to the cinema, he saw films like 'The last Veil', 'People from the variety show' and 'Son ein Früchtenchen'
• At his apartment when at school he loved to sleep on his balcony when it was hot
• "It's actually funny, I still don't have a girlfriend, I have to laugh sometimes, and there aren't many sensible girls around either." - p50
• "I'm currently lying in my castle with my head under a deck chair because of the sun, eating crumble cake and drinking Biomaris. The boy is racing around like crazy trying to get to the girls. One of them keeps looking at him challengingly and it drives him completely crazy. I haven't met anyone yet, I'm just lazing around in the area." - p51
• "I haven't been happy with myself for a long time. The swing, the fresh naturalness, etc. have been lost to me here. But I don't want to believe what mom says about vapid selfishness. I defend myself against it. Must be different. Self-aggrandizing. I look bad, she says almost every time lately. I'm kind of weird too. Sometimes I don't feel completely healthy. Right now I'm ok." - p65
• Wolfgang von Trips was forced to leave his school as he wasn't doing well in his classes. He could recognise this and knew that he had no motivation for school as it was making him very lazy because he didn't have the energy to do well. All that brought him joy was his motorbike racing that he had started to pick up.
• His was then sent to another school to focus more on agriculture and found the people he was with more interesting than previously
• He didn't always eat well so his parents had it arranged that he could go to a hotel and get food whenever he wanted however when he wanted to buy a car he made a deal with the hotel that he wouldn't eat there anymore in exchange for the money his parents said and the hotel can pretend he was eating there
• "I was really afraid of death when I heard Beethoven's piano sonata op. 111" - p85
• "And then I'm so tense, kind of nervous. It's also because I deal with too many people and this causes me to tear myself apart. I don't have a steady girlfriend, sometimes I flirt with Erika Perps, then I'm with Erika Nies and Birgitta, I keep an iron in the fire everywhere and yet I'm not really friends with anyone" - p88
• "I'm not okay. I think Rosa likes me. It's a strange relationship between us. Somehow I know she's not right for me. I like her a lot and it's also very practical, but I've been looking for something else for a long time, but I don't have the energy to, firstly, get away from it and, secondly, to find a really nice, lovely girl who I like and who has something It requires striving for something more formed and more stable. Well, let's see how everything goes. I already had an unpleasant thing with my mother because of it. She spoke to Rosa's mother about us and this trivial matter turned into an embarrassingly stupid one because this one comment about her son-in-law was made to Heinz who told me about it. I stupidly raged at mom and now she snapped. Well, okay again now. Firstly, it's embarrassing for me and secondly, I definitely don't want anyone to say or suspect anything about Rosa and me in any circles. I wouldn't be happy with that." - p91
• "Unfortunately, I'm afraid of feelings and can't live them out or give myself up to surrender to them. I'm not honest with myself. Even with girls. I always played, never admitted my feelings, not even to Mira or to myself. Erika and Rosa now live together. Is it better for me? Erika is a lovely guy, I like him very much. Had some wine and liqueur last night. Was one with Rosa an hour alone in the room. Usual scuffle, she was very soft and had tears in her eyes as I tormented her with words. I like them, that's very clear, but somehow I have an obstacle. I'm almost afraid to bring about a discussion, an understanding, because then I no longer feel free and I don't want to commit myself under any circumstances, especially not in this case. It would be nice to simply like a person and know that they like you and to have mutual understanding and a feeling of togetherness. Then again I think it wasn't real with her and I'm too ashamed to reveal myself. But it's just the way it is, when you're intimate with a person, something has to say about whether you want to overcome me and I have it here or not. (Just writing this down now costs the fear of saying too much. But that also depends on the object.) Oh, what I would give for the moment when I could write affirmatively with all my heart here in this book "I'm in love" to show myself like that to people and calmly to the world around me. I'm sure I have these feelings now too, and sometimes I'm quite happy when I'm with her. But it annoys me that there is no one else where, as I said, I could freely admit it." - p94
• "The last few days have been completely under the influence of Marlene, my entire day thinking only revolved around her. Especially when I'm alone, I torment myself with the idea of having to leave in a few days and then not seeing her again. I've never experienced anything like that in my life and I'm completely blown away. When I'm with her it's a little different, you don't think like that. But it's true that I love her very much. I've never seen a girl like that before, she's pretty much what I dreamed of, a real young, completely untouched girl. Think she loves me too. Went with her last night to the fireworks in a neighboring town (with her sister, her fiancé and an Englishman who, unfortunately, he was visiting her). I was able to curl up and walk along the bank with her. I could barely hold a conversation, it was strange. I always have the specter of never seeing her again and I'm just different in everything when I'm with her. There are no words to describe what it was like, I can only state the facts, not the feeling. Maybe later I'll remember how I suddenly took her in my arms and kissed her, not on the mouth. I took it easy for a moment and I've never seen a girl feel like that. Think it was her first hug. God, I want to capture all of this, but when I think about yesterday and read it now... You can't express it in a few words. was as if they were together men would sink. I don't know, she became very soft and walked completely differently without any support. I would have loved to tease her. Had to go back soon. She kept saying “you” to me. I asked her if she would like to have me. She evaded the fact that I would soon be leading. But she said that until now she had raved and was happy with a few boys and now that she had met me something had torn inside her. Have to ask her again what she means by that. Maybe things will actually get better once I'm gone. But now I have a fear of the descent that doesn't leave me alone all day long. This afternoon I lay in my bed and cried like a little girl. Child. Baseless. Then I slept a bit and then went for a swim, but always brooding and longing for Marlene. On Friday I was in Friborg with her and the really nice Englishman (I could kill him) in a '50 Pontiac Hydromatic. It cost me 150 francs, but I was with her. Sometimes she looks at you. I notice I'm going crazy, will it be over soon? Don't think so. It's pretty deep, but what should I do? Hopefully I can get her alone again, it's not easy. I never thought something like this could happen to me. I'd better stop writing, it'll all come out of one thing. I'm in love, I'm loved too, but what's the use? Lausanne-Cologne-Benefeld is too far, hopefully I'll probably get over it soon and so will she, the little one. But one more thing as a fact: I don't smoke anymore and not as long as I have my love for her. Hold on too, I know that..." - p98/99
• "I just have times when I have no vitality, I don't do anything, I'm tired and I see everything as if through a veil, I can't find an excuse for anything and I completely lose connection with the past and the future. By that I mean that all plans are forgotten and nothing is carried out what was planned. That nothing is planned for the future and that all further thoughts are no longer there, there is nothing that could give me a boost. Then the picture suddenly changes. You remember the good streak again, pick up old plans, make new ones, feel good and just have it no longer have these dragging feelings like before, is somehow freer, as if freed from a nightmare and can do something. I just want to know how this is connected, whether it's purely physical in nature is or whatever comes into" - p112
• Wolfgang would feel very depressed being back at home after he finished school. He felt trapped and being alone without any young friends was tough on him.
• Wolfgang has commitment issues and he found it hard announcing it to the world his feelings and that he is intrested in someone. Instead he preferred to hide it all.
• Wolfgang found it hard to figure out if what he felt towards a woman was love or infatuation. He would have sex with the girls he knew but was very hesitant to have relationships. His feelings would change quickly and he could quickly loose intrest. He did love Rosa a bit but not to the extent that she loved him
• He tried to quit smoking a few times but it would always come back
• "I actually like dancing, not very well, but I like it. I really like jazz music gladly. I also like classical music, thanks to my mother. My mother has a very great understanding of music. She used to play the piano herself, almost to the point where she was ready for a concert, and that's why we often had it in our house good music, piano concerts and stuff, heard. I was exposed to jazz music through the colored Americans with whom I had these discussions. They often played their records during the day and told me a lot about jazz." - p121
• "The days with Marlene in Heidelberg and Stuttgart were nice, but they could no longer be what being with the girl meant to me back in Switzerland. I was really in love then, but now I saw a lot of things with different eyes. Maybe my whole inner hollowness and apathy is partly to blame, but mainly the fact that the charm of the unspoken and very tender, unconscious and, to me, so foreign way of approaching and communicating with a girl doesn't mean anything under normal circumstances is extraordinary and therefore only the appeal of the real A very touching and very delicately hinted caress remains." - p121/122
• "then the moment comes when I'm standing on the street in Cologne and see the buyer driving away on my motorcycle, my R 51. My motorcycle, which carried me through the years, which was, so to speak, my everything, with which I drove to all my events and visited my girlfriend! This piece of my life was suddenly taken away by someone else! Then my world collapsed inside me, it was terrible, I stood there and wanted to cry" - p136
• "Wolfgang has a lot of self-doubt during this phase. He simply lacks a conversation partner with whom he can exchange ideas, who can inspire him or who can provide him with assistance in some other way. He often sits alone in his second room in Brühl and sees writing letters as the only way to express his thoughts" - p138
• "I sometimes see myself as the offspring of a rich family who races in his youth and has no idea about anything and no more money when he gets old. I dont want that...I still have to learn something, but I can't stop driving, I'm too invested in it." - p144
• "As I turned more and more to the car, this began to fade because I suddenly had something else on the side that I hadn't had before. She actually gave us the impetus, as they say, to break things off. Of course, I initially rejected this. Then, when she noticed that I was slipping more and more into this car atmosphere, I wrote She told me that it would be better if we separated so that we wouldn't destroy our beautiful memories too. It can no longer be the way it was anyway. All of this went through my head again when I didn't turn right as usual, but instead stayed on the motorway and continued driving. That was a moment I will never forget because it was probably the final crossroads. But at that moment I also realized that from now on a new life will begin for me and that everything will somehow be completely different. Actually, I was kind of happy about it. It was something new and I really threw myself into it and dedicated my heart and soul to this driving." - p146
• ">Ovo con salato - that was the first Italian I heard and that I wrote it down in my diary, and I always remember this “ovo con salato” fondly. So we all ate egg and salad and then it was time to go to our hotel, the address of which had been written down for us and which was in Gardone Val frompia. That was such a nice sounding word and I thought it was so great, that I constantly said it to myself, yes I had to say it because I often said it afterwards had to ask for directions. >Excuse me, where to Gardone Val Trompia? I had to learn this sentence by heart that evening and yet everything was so great for me that I hardly slept the rest of the night because of my excitement." - p147
• "But what moved me the most was the fact that I, who only had a shirt and trousers to wear, received a white overall from the Porsche mechanics with the words “Porsche” clearly visible on the back. That was really great for me" - p148
• "Helmut is very excited: Your parents are standing back there, I think they've already recognized me. What we do?" So I turn around very carefully and I see my mother with the binoculars, looking right at me. So there was nothing to be done and so I half a good face made the bad game and waved. She then waved and I went over to her to the delight of the audience in the stands who were watching everything. I found a place with my parents and from the stands watched the race for the “European Grand Prix,” which Juan Manuel Fangio won in the new Mercedes-Benz. I don't remember much else because the big races were at that time outside of my sphere of interest" - p157
• "When he took part in motorcycle competitions as one of the "three wild pigs", Rolf Clasen's wife always packed an extra package of sandwiches "ur da Jung" in his storage bag. And after he switched to a pumped Porsche, his sports mates Friedrich Victor H and Hans Lappe supplied him with food during racing events and the cook at eese Rolff often opened her pantry in the evenings when Wolfgang was on his way home" - p167
• "'Well, boy, now listen. You are now the young guy in the racing team and maybe you are even faster than Karl Kling. But it's certainly more intelligent if you stay behind him, because he's the big driver now, and since he wants to step down soon, it would certainly be better and so...” And so on. There I stood, a little embarrassed and didn't know how to behave" - p185
• "Then I was allowed to drive three laps and get out again. I was never told what times I achieved. Nobody cared about me. There was not a word of recognition, no advice or criticism. Nothing came, nothing at all and, to be honest, I was very embarrassed. Only one person took the time to talk to me and that was Juan Manuel Fangio. We didn't have a common language, but his comradely care for me, a newcomer, was evident in every gesture he made and in every word he spoke, which I mostly only partially understood. I never forgot that, even in later years when I was more firmly in the saddle and had found my own way, and I believe that there is no better way to carry and preserve the memory of the great man and racing driver Fangio than trying to emulate him in every way. Looking back, I don't want to blame anyone, because before this race everyone had to deal with themselves. It was quite a burden and I also had to master this car at speeds that were completely unknown to me up to that point" - p191
• Wolfgang experiences Christmas and the New Year on the high seas. Peter Collins is not only an ideal travel companion for him, but he is active also with great success as an entertainer for the passengers. If he his When stories are told about racing cars, the slopes and colleagues, those standing by listen, fascinated and mostly smiling. The ship is anchored in Montevideo for two days because the cargo has to be unloaded. After an afternoon stroll through the city, two passengers are missing: Peter Collins and a young Brazilian woman who got on in Rio. Excitement on board, especially with Wolfgang. The ship finally sets off half an hour late. Peter suddenly appears from the crowd on land collins at a stretched trot, holding the girl by the hand. Wolfgang has his film camera at hand and captures this scene. Collins gesticulates to find someone who is chasing the dwindling steamer with him and the girl in an ancient tucker boat. Hundreds Pairs of eyes follow the maneuver from the deck. The ship has to hey and shorten the distance. Sailors have already started down a gangway. The “pursuers” found it difficult to keep up with Taempo, but that made little sense because the distance was increasing instead of decreasing. Wolfgang rushes to the captain with two other passengers. When the command "Slow speed ahead" got to the engine room, the Boce got them. The two of them climbed on board with embarrassed faces. A nice spat from the captain follows and Collins, who was wrong about the time, falls out of favor with the passengers." - p229/230
• "An English friend Peter Collins dispelled all my doubts and persuaded me. I also have him to thank for the fact that my first racing adventure in a formula car ended well." - p231
• "I was amazed at the endless patience of Peter Collins, who came to me after every lap and told me what I had done wrong" - p232
• "I stood there closed my eyes, thought of an extreme curve and mentally performed everything that I had tried in vain to master during training. >Approach the curve, brake carefully, let it slide away, not too much, accelerate. How many times have I repeated this and muttered it to myself, rehearsed it in my head? I don't know it. Anyway, Mike Hawthorn poked me in the ribs and asked: >What about you? Are you crazy?<" - p232
• "Finally he arrived, and sure enough, he rolled up to the pits. I can't remember why I already had my helmet on and my gloves on, but that's how it was. All I had to do was get in the car and drive off. Nevertheless, my throat almost constricted with excitement. Galt. Maybe Collins' stay in the pits isn't mine at all? Then he waved to me. I couldn't believe he meant me and looked around for Mike Hawthorn, who was standing nearby. But Mike acted as if it was none of his business, even though it would have been his turn if Peter Collins had wanted to get out.. 'Come on, get away,' Collins said to me as he got up from the cockpit, and Icha was in the Formula 1 car faster than I had hoped and dreamed." - p233
• "I felt an exhilarating feeling because I knew that I had joined the circle of Grand Prix drivers and was accepted. But I also knew that I still needed a lot to become a master like my friend Peter Collins, who had selflessly given me a chance." - p233
• "Wolfgang races over a bumpy railway crossing. The car jumps almost a meter high and Wolfgang's provisions are thrown out. Now he only has his pocket supply of glucose at his disposal. And it runs out quickly. Wolfgang's physical strength dwindles, his concentration wanes, he becomes slower." - p240
• Enzo Ferrari definitely should have cut off Wolfgang's beard after this sensational placement. Because the Commendatore made Wolfgang's entry subject to the condition that if he placed from third place upwards, Wolfgang's memory of the Nürburgring accident would have to fall victim to the scissors. At the finish, however, Enzo Ferrari generously waived the agreement and so the "goatee" still adorns Wolfgang's chin when he is a guest at the Frankfurt Motor Show in October and is there for the press. dien poses. Huschke von Hanstein then had a brilliant idea. And so it happens that Wolfgang appears at the exhibition in the morning with a beard and in the afternoon, in a different wardrobe, shows up without a beard and asks an industrial boss, who rubs his eyes in surprise, whether he hasn't seen his brother." - p249
• "You talk about shifting your values - I think that's only partly true. You already have the ability to love within you - but, I think, over time you have simply forgotten how to properly analyze your feelings. And so you have deceived people. I bet it's women who accuse you of callousness and coldness, women who hoped you would do things and do things that Dua can't do, for the one reason that your whole 'I', your whole life, your longing and suffering has a motto that doesn't tolerate rivals or secondary feelings: racing - you're a man possessed somewhere, that's not good because you're sacrificing too much, putting too much into one thing." - a letter sent to Wolfgang from a friend, p 271
• "Wolfgang makes garden plans, he “dusts off” the castle. His mother, a great supporter of natural medicine, keeps dozens of types of tea in a cupboard, almost all of which are so old that there is only tea dust in the boxes and bags. This is a thorn in Wolfgang's side and when his mother is absent again, he removes all the teas from the cupboard, buys a new cupboard and fills it with freshly bought tea herbs. His secretary's horrified question, 'Is this okay? he answers in his own way: >I want to tell you one thing, Ms. Floßdorf. If my mother finds out and I'm still here, I'll be hanging from a tree. But you’re right next to it!” »Me, why me? >You didn't stop it and you didn't tell my mother!" - p278
• "He, who has always gotten along well with Mike, finds this way of dying particularly tragic. A few days later he also expressed his condolences to Enzo Ferrari" - p178
• Count Crashes is what the English dubbed him after his spectacular fall into the rose bush at Monza. The aura of “Graf Bruchs” preceded him to the USA. But the Americans give it a different name: they call it Tattys respectfully and this name was first used by immigrants from Wales to describe people who, because of their courage and fearlessness, were exemplary and outstanding in the settlement of the former “Wild West”. were. Taffy, that's what most of his racing colleagues call him, is what journalists in newspapers, magazines and radio stations call him. And "Taffys is a popular and skillful interview partner and when his bright and bold boyish face with his lively gray eyes flashes across the American television stations in the bungalows, palaces, apartments, living rooms and even slums and he speaks easily in a bright voice, answers easily, even downright effervescently, then many a “lady” or “mommy” looks at the television screen with interest and fascination and lets the cooking pot be the cooking pot or the ice in the whiskey glass melting. Even after races, when only the stripes around his eyes are white because his racing goggles have kept away the dirt that has been swirling up over many hours, when his face is smeared and his hair is sticky with sweat, his entire appearance still reminds you of you Aristocrats and in his verve Robert Redford, who is already at the top of women's favor" - p 280
• "Wolfgang, who has been looking after young talent in motorsports for some time and always strives to get young athletes off the road and onto the safe airfield racing tracks for many people in the clubs." - p293
• 'Elfriede Floßdorf constantly supplies the beautiful Sicilian from Horem with “Muesli à la Wolfgang”, made from oat flakes, fresh fruits and honey from Hemmersbach production. When visiting Catania, Wolfgang can rely on a well-loved and familiar meal thanks to the care and provision of his secretary. Whenever possible, Wolfgang prefers "his" muesli to any other meal and when there are races in Spa-Francorchamps, the Nürburgring or Hockenheim, Elfriede is always there with fresh muesli to please the "Mr. Count" - like her yourself always expressed to seekers - to keep them strong and happy. His muesli also gives Wolfgang the strength he needs in the 1000 km race at the Nürburgring." - p295
• "When his parents are absent for a long period of time, he "makes a point of doing things." In the absence of a key to the room, which can only be accessed from the outside, he simply breaks a window and gains access. Then we tidy up, clear out and rearrange and finally a beautiful room is created that, after breaking through the door, can now be accessed directly from the castle" - p295
• "A second telephone is right next to her bed, because Wolfgang has the habit of calling almost always and from everywhere, just like that ask questions and give instructions. His many starts and trips in South and North America and later in South Africa mean that most of the calls come at night. When the phone rings on Parkstrasse in Horrem after midnight and Elfriede Floßdorf answers, his recurring question is also a greeting: "Have you slept yet?" - p313
• "Wolfgang is one of the witnesses and at the wedding banquet in the "Stallmästergarden" he has the Swedish Princess Birgitta as his table lady. This doesn't catch him unprepared, because Joakim has prepared him for it: "You will be Princess Birgitta's cavalier and that's why it would be good if your tailcoat, which has been under a lot of wear and tear recently, is thoroughly cleaned up." - p 315
• “They were color films, bright colors, but the most beautiful thing about them was what the young count said about them. It just bubbled out of him, and if these two hours could have been broadcast on television, it would have been one of the best. nest programs that have ever been shown." - p 316
• "But what was most charming was his lovely smile and the lively humor with which he knew how to spice things up without meaning to. You had to like Trips, even though he hasn't become a Fangio or a Caracciola yet." - p 316
• "And I believe that the moment we manage to use a technical object to increase our joy in life, our joy in learning - it takes a lot of learning to master such an instrument - and use it in sporting competition , we are not on the wrong path." - p 330
• To declare the right to want to practice our sport without hostility and defamation. We have to express that we cannot do this in the desired form under the current conditions because we lack events and people are negative, almost hostile, towards us . We have to find ways to exercise that exclude the dangers that motorsport has so far become famous for. We must present clear figures about events in England and America and make it clear that we motorsport enthusiasts are no longer willing to be treated as stepchildren. The event must be held in a representative setting. If possible, all sports and racing vehicles in Germany should be exhibited." - p 335
• "Now guess where I was?” The Floßdorf couple, once again brought out of their sleep by Wolfgang to gain entry to the castle and give him his keys, look puzzled. 1a in South Africa...< says Elfriede and husband Willi wants to add something, but he is interrupted by Wolfgang: »I was with the “good Lord”!” "Where were you?!" I gush about the events of the last few days I celebrated New Year's Eve with the Good Lord. You're amazed, aren't you?" Wolfgang's only joy is that he celebrated the turn of the year with the Aga Khan and many guests in his residence together with Princess Gabrielle of Savoy, whom he greatly admired, daughter of the Italian ex-King Umberto." P337
• "Let me tell you a short episode. I was racing with Fangio in Argentina and Fangio flew out of a corner in front of me due to a driving error. We talked about it afterwards and he said to me: 'Yes, I just made a mistake!< You see, a person like Fangio, who for us and especially for me is the greatest driver of our time, even he can fly out of a curve due to a driving error. For me it was, I would almost say, a great experience because I saw that even a driver as perfect as Fangio is ultimately still a person who constantly has to work harder." - p 343
• "This may sound strange, but I just don't have the energy to shake very many hands, so I usually put my hands in my pockets and just nod my head. So this is not rudeness on my part, just a protective device. Because many people think that I have to say goodbye particularly nicely." - p 366
• "There is a happy and exuberant atmosphere at the evening party. Wolfgang leads his guests through the old moated castle and some of the 45 rooms and shows them the sauna he built himself. Joakim Bonnier knows Hemmersbach almost better than he does at home in Sweden, because he is a guest here, often with his wife, and is always welcome. The guests are impressed by the castle." - p 396
• "The next morning he came for breakfast, we stayed together with small interruptions until the afternoon, swam and while we lay in the garden and enjoyed the sun, I prayed that time would stand still - but the good Lord was not merciful. And Then the moment came when he stood calmly in front of me and told me to keep my ears straight - and his last look, those laughing eyes, comforted me..." - p 399

Missing Potential About Organisation XIII Members
Some things about Organisation XIII members that I thought was a shame we haven't seen (yet)
The events of Chain of Memories being touched on. Like, how do Lea and Riku interact with Aeleus, Ienzo and Even? What about Saïx’s involvement, how much of it was from Xemnas, Saïx or just Axel's initative? Imagine Sora dealing with Marluxia and Larxene in KH3 with their history remembered. And let's not forget Riku Replica.
Marluxia and Larxene actually share very little one-to-one screentime for two villains who are working together, they only have a single short scene in KH3 before other characters show up. What was their relationship as Nobodies like? How did they come to trust each other enough to try and orchestrate a coup together and be loyal enough to die fighting together twice? We know Marluxia didn’t remember his past, but what about Larxene? Does the history of their Somebodies still factor in, even though they might not even remember?
Seeing the Organisation’s earlier history. How and when did they claim the World That Never Was as their base of operations and start working on completing the artificial Kingdom Hearts? How did they all get their powers and weapons and learn how to use them? How was it run before Saïx became mission control, how did he get that job and what kind of training and missions were they assigned to turn it into the Organisation we see in Chain of Memories, Days and 2? What are the details of Axel and Saïx’s story, how they lost their hearts and plotted their coup, how Axel got his teardrop tattoos and how Saïx got that scar and got possessed. How did Demyx, Luxord, Marluxia and Larxene get recruited (twice)? The original Organisation XIII doesn’t actually get to be an organisation of 13 people for very long, if at all, and there is only a brief period at the beginning of Days where we have a chance to see all members interacting with each other. I know there were at least two coups being plotted but they are never seen acting collectively as a single unit.
Lea still keeps his affinity for fire magic since being recompleted, but what about the other recompleted members of the original Organisation? I’d have to assume that the others still keep their powers post-recompletion too, and if so it’s a shame we don’t get to see the Radiant Garden crew using their powers more. Or Aeleus and Dilan showing off their fighting skills in general (even in a war), they are castle guards after all.
The Radiant Garden crew adjusting back into society after all the human experiments they did, especially if they remain respected authority figures.
Lea losing much of his potential character development in KH3 - exploring what his keyblade and being a wielder means to him, making up for his mistakes and fighting to get his friends back and earning all of those things - in favour of ignoring a lot of the harmful things he did and turning him into comic relief who doesn’t contribute much to the war. He deserved better than that.
The whole possession thing is kind of glossed over in KH3, in that it doesn’t really seem to affect the Real Org members. The way Xigbar described it in DDD makes it sound like some kind of hive mind to me, so I wondered about Xehanort being able to completely control any of them at any time, all of them forced to share the same thoughts and feelings from Xehanort about what he wants them to desire (or even sharing or sensing each other’s thoughts and feelings?), and in the Keyblade Graveyard none of them are themselves at all until their deaths. There was a reason Xehanort did this after all, and it would not only keep the members trapped and make betrayal more difficult, but make it even more impressive that Saïx, Vexen and Demyx were able to pull it off despite this.
The traitors in the new Org doing more than drop off a replica body at Radiant Garden right when it was needed. Maybe there could have been more communication between the traitors and the guardians to make cooperation easier and give the plan greater chances of success, maybe even pass along information about the organisation's plans and movements (easily done by Demyx if he was always sent on recon missions). This is really more of an idea I had.
Group dynamics in general. So many contrasting personalities and motivations with so much potential for interesting interactions just by putting some of these characters in the same room for a few minutes.
All the former Nobodies adjusting to having a heart again after being recompleted. Even though there would be a lot that's similar for them, I think each of them would experience it in their own way, with their own unique challenges, needs and coping methods about the process.

I can't stop thinking about it.
You know how when you romance Solas there's a power imbalance (that at first we don't know of) since our edgy puppy is immortal and so ridiculously powerful that I don't know how DA:D protagonist is going to survive, and because of that most fanfiction (especially those set after Trespasser) depicts Lavellan struggling because she fell in love with an almost god who's about to commit a genocide to fix a previous accidental genocide.
So what if there was a character that from the beginning could level down that power imbalance gap and slap the fuck out of that elvhen glory bald head? I was already thinking of a crossover with the poll I made, but now another idea has formed. Solas x Dovahkiin.
I know there's already a few fanfics about this pair, but I haven't yet found one which truly delves into how things and people would truly be affected by the dragonborn's presence and decisions (whether they're inquisitors or not). And most of the time the LDB is seriously scaled down in power. Nothing compared to canon lore. So I have an emotional itch that hasn't been scratched by the gods of fanfiction.
Also when I talk about power, I'm not necessarily talking about them fighting, flexing on their magic, or any sort of display like that. But in the sense of how every single interaction would be changed because now, Solas is facing someone that could possibly stop him. Maybe Solas would be the one to win. He doesn't know. He just knows that in some way they're equals and this means a whole new dynamic is unlocked, and THAT, I would die to read.
Because I think, that despite Solas feelings for Lavellan are very much real and intense, there's still a tiny little part of him that still sees her as a Da'len. Not necessarily disrespectfully, but still kinda patronizing. After all he's Fen'Harel, thousands of years old and he's a prideful man that doesn't believe Lavellan has the power to stop him.
So, introducing a character that not only changes the rules but the game itself would be delicious.
P.S: After everything that egg made me go through, I want to make him suffer. A Dragonborn would certainly achieve that, in the most diabolical 'rivals to lovers' kind of way.

who do you think the dbda (the main four) would like the most and the least out of the tlh gang, and why?
who do you think the cat king's fav would be?
(hope u have a good day 🫶)
this is so amazingly fun because i'm currently writing a crossover fic about these characters! i've written some of their interactions, so i'll answer this ask with supplemental snippets from the case of the five half-angel curiousities!
edwin's favourites are alastair and cordelia.
cordelia, because she reminds him of niko in some ineffable way...
Edwin was fairly certain that the enchantment was either made by someone extremely stupid or extremely malicious, but he was not about to say that. “We know next to nothing as of now,” he said. “A good detective must assess all the facts before drawing conclusions. Luckily, I am good at that, as is the friend we are meeting.” “Friend?” Cordelia was smiling. “Yes. Niko. Do you recall when I told you that you were reminiscent of someone? I was speaking of her.” “She sounds lovely, then,” Cordelia laughed. Alastair rolled his eyes.
and alastair because they share a sense of humor and are gang on matthew sometimes for fun:
“Oh, that’s wonderful,” Cordelia said. “Tell me the oddest thing about the world today, something that I’m unlikely to know.” Edwin considered this. “Have you ever been to a Primark?” “What is a Primark?” Cordelia’s voice was curious. “Ridiculously inexpensive clothing store. I am certainly fortunate that I can conjure up whatever outfit I wish with ghost magic; the living sell the lowest-quality things and get excited over them in a way that I simply cannot understand.” Alastair nodded along with him, a superior expression on his face.
(and later also because they have a lot of poignant conversations about, like, edwardian homosexuality...)
charles's favorite is thomas initially and he becomes close with matthew as well as thomas.
charles about thomas:
“Bet,” Charles said. “And also, I like the look of them. Especially the tall guy. Thomas. They’re all solid lads, don’t you think?” “I’m quite honestly concerned about their newly acquired feline friend,” Edwin mused, “but yes. They’re altogether inoffensive. The girl as well. I rather like her. She’s oddly charming.”
charles and matthew:
“I burned it to the ground, if you must know. My school, I mean,” Matthew said, deciding to leave out the fact that he had only made an impact within the South Wing. “Considering what you have just shared, perhaps you would like to know it. I ought to be ashamed, but I was thirteen. And am still rather proud of my ability to create explosives at such a tender age. Such takes far more analytical abilities than you might think.” “I know. I can make Molotov cocktails,” Charles said approvingly. Thomas spoke. “What’s that?”
niko gets along really well with cordelia
<3 :
“I think we should just call the ‘item that underwent factuari’ a ‘factuari,” Niko said. “Do not be silly,” Edwin chided, giving Niko an affected but pointed look. “Factuari is a verb, not a noun. You cannot change parts of speech simply out of personal conveience.” “I’m going to anyway,” Niko said, and because Edwin could not be mad at Niko, he smiled as when rolling his eyes. “I think I will, too,” Cordelia agreed, and Niko looked at her with an approving grin.
crystal immediately adores james, but unfortunately that's in an upcoming scene. they do have an entire chapter to themselves, though, with a little bit of cordelia.
as for the cat king, well, someone i love very much wants to learn how to pop into existence with a chandelier over his head... but i haven't written this chapter yet <3
and a bonus <3
“So,” Edwin said, “what year were you all born? I estimate that we’re likely around the same age, and am quite curious.” Cordelia clapped her hands. “I thought we may have lived during similar time frames as well.” She looked delighted. “I was born in 1886, and Alastair in 1884. I died in 1964; he and Thomas in 1965.” “Both of them?” Edwin asked curiously. “Do you know how some married couples expire within hours of each other?” Cordelia’s eyes were shining. “Well, both Alastair and I did, with James and Thomas. An odd coincidence, but…”

have recently learned there's a bit more hate around trainwreckshipping than i was aware of so i guess i just wanted to talk about it a bit and give my two cents on the ship, how i see it and i guess my perspective on things. i've kind of always wanted to talk about it, but i just haven't been brave enough until now haha (sorry, i am not super eloquent when it comes to writing things like this so my apologies) ((also throwing it under a cut because it may get long and might also include some slightly sad-ish things so i don't want to just throw that in everyone's face you know))
----
i think i'll just preface things by saying i've always totally understood why trainwreckshipping has gotten so much flack since its inception. or hate, because maybe flack just isn't strong enough of a word. but i do understand. there were mischaracterizations of emmet by portraying him as violent to volo because it was assumed that volo was directly responsible for ingo's disappearance. i was guilty of it. suuuuuper guilty. and i can understand why that put the ship in such a position for many people. toxic, unhealthy, etc. but... i think what i'm a bit confused on i guess is the fact that it's still viewed so much this way to this day. viewed as one of the worst ships because of how toxic it is. how unhealthy it is. all because it started that way in fanon only. but you know, from a canon standpoint, it has nothing. nothing at all. so really, this ship could be anything because it's based in fanon only. no canon interactions of emmet and volo exist yet. there is no official basis on how these characters would interact with each other. and yes, while there were misunderstandings of both characters early on, that certainly doesn't mean it's still that way today. that doesn't mean that people haven't studied and looked at these two characters a little closer to understand them better and to try and make them more realistic to their canon portrayals. to make more accurate depictions of these characters and how that fits in to a healthier perspective with them. i dunno. it just kinda baffles me that with the variety of trainwreckshipping content out there now, some still call it toxic and unhealthy as if we're perpetually stuck in that time period of when it was. like it's not allowed to be anything but that ever just because it started that way. and what makes me the saddest about it all is now seeing so many friends and people in the community of the ship start to get disheartened and discouraged from enjoying something they really actually enjoy because there's still such a bad stigma to the ship. personally for a long time i've just ignored that stigma because i try not to let that stuff drag me down. but i will admit that yes, it has made me more reluctant to post any art i do of it. i've definitely had my periods where i've questioned uploading my emmet/volo art, usually as wholesome as it is, because it does have such a dark cloud around it fandom wise. it's why i made my side blog, in fact. because i just didn't feel very comfortable uploading mostly emmet/volo art here to my main because so many people dislike it or outright hate it.
and in regards to the ship itself, i think i've always thought of it in a slightly different way than most. not so much enemies to lovers but rather through the lens of how volo might could change, be redeemed, see the how his actions in the past inadvertently affected others (and by that I mean his involvement in opening the rift... like yes, that could be what caused ingo to be sent to hisui, but we don't know that for sure... and even if that was the case, volo didn't do it specifically to target ingo. volo was only ever interested in trying to get to arceus and build a better world in his vision).
or how volo could look at emmet after getting to know him and potentially see the beauty and value of the current world through him. you know, seeing someone like emmet and admiring that he can still find a reason to smile and be kind despite all of the pain and suffering he must have gone through since ingo's disappearance. volo starting to see a different perspective than he did before (aka wanting to build a new world because the current one was too full of pain and suffering) because of emmet. i dunno. that's just me personally. because since actually looking more at volo's character and his dialogue in game i've been real interested in redemption paths for him. exploring those possibilities. i just enjoy exploring said possibilities mostly through the dynamic i have in my head for him and emmet because it's fun. it interests me. i see cool potential in it. i enjoy it a lot. and while i don't think i ever portray volo super accurately, or even emmet for that matter, i still think i've come a long way since first finishing pla and ever looking at emmet/volo interactions. but regardless of all of that, that's the beauty of a ship of this nature. a ship that has absolutely no basis in canon. because it really can be anything you want it to be. it can be enemies to lovers, it can be more wholesome, it can be whatever. it's not locked into a specific dynamic because the characters have never officially met each other, let alone had a conversation. and even if that were the case... AUs are still a thing. :D
anyway that's pretty much all i had. just wanted to talk about it a bit because i've seen a recent uptick in people mentioning all of the hate and dislike for the ship etc and i dunno. i enjoy the ship a lot. it's just sad to see that there's still so much hate around it even though a lot of the content now is not like how it originally started. not from what i've seen, at least.
and while i don't expect anyone who hates it to ever warm up to it, i just wish it could be understood that the more toxic, unhealthy dynamic is not the basis of anymore. there are healthier portrayals of it now.
#trainwreckshipping#this did end up pretty long sorry sdklfj#and probably not the most eloquent way to end it off but it's ok#it's a little cathartic to talk about this i suppose#also pleaaaase forgive any mistakes i'm a bit tired and am not usually a writer at least not to this length hhh

Ok so for the bizzaros how would they're characters be compared to their counterparts? Would they have the memories of the other ninjas? Are they going to be actual persons like the pirates? Do they have the same character as the others? Same crush *wink *wink? Would Bizzaro Cole have any cualms about flirting with Zane or messing with Jesse? Would bizzaro Kai still dislike Olivia? Are they just straight up evil versions of them or just deranged? Who would be the leader (since in the episode Kai seemed to be the one trying to figure out where theire counterparts were while the others just messed around?)
*chugs drink* Well, if ya really wanna know before we get to the particular chapters, here ya go (juuust mind some spoilers~):
Garmadon essentially manifests "all the male ninja except Lloyd in his own image" (perhaps not the exact wording I'll use, but that's ultimately what happens), so the Bizarros are basically just Garmadon's interpretations of the Ninja, just dashed with evil and many, many assumptions
B!Zane is overly logical and stoic, but also is not a Nindroid (because Garmadon himself doesn't know that yet lol). Unlike Zane though, B!Zane has zero problems in voicing his definitely-most-certainly-correct opinions on things, and essentially has Nya's role of situational breakdowns.
B!Jay is overly sarcastic and very loudly rambunctious, and Jay's overt displays of affections for Nya have been translated as him being a giant flirt (lol watch out Sunni). He's also the team's primary attacker instead of Kai, being far quicker to throw down in a fray than Jay actually is...and he's far more dangerous for it.
B!Cole is overly-silent, somewhat judgmental, and a sheer wall of muscle, operating as next to nothing but the team's brute force, taking Zane's role of primary defense. Due to not directly interacting with Garmadon much, he's something of a blank slate personality-wise... but he does, mysteriously, have a weakness for Jesse. Wonder why THAT could be....
B!Kai is overly emotional, slightly irrational, yet the "pillar" of the team, based entirely on both "Volcano Incidents" and Garmadon observations of how Kai handled the Great Devourer incident. He's also way friendly around Olivia (and I haven't decided if Olivia is actually let in on this specific plan of Garmadon's—I dunno if it's funnier if she does or doesn't know but either way she is thrown lmao). He has Cole's role of being the one to keep them all on track and focused, buuuuut he's not the leader.
...The leader is actually B!Jesse, who choses to go by Bess instead. He's basically Jesse, but if he was a charismatic asshole and with actual full control of his powers. He has Jay's role of being the evasive specialist, while giving the others all their orders from the backlines (and only fights when he has to/really wants to). Is also convinced he's dating B!Cole, which totally isn't going to cause any issues.
They know about as much of the Ninja they're based on as Garmadon does. So basically anything observed from the pilots, anything Garmadon assumed from prior elemental Alliance context, anything Wu/Olivia/Bridget/Mystake ever mentioned to Garmadon prior to making them, Kai's TP Arc, and whatever Garmadon was present for during the fight against the Devourer is fair game. Bess probably wouldn't even realize Jesse has a sister :V
The only one who technically maintains their crush is Bess (as Garmadon's never witnessed Cole interacting with Zane, and Jay's infatuation with Nya specifically manifested as something else entirely in B!Jay. Not that Nya is free from B!Jay's flirting either rip). And I'd say the only straight up evil one is Bess; the rest of them are just... somewhat unhinged nkgfhgfdjhgfds
And no, as fun as they are and tempting as it is, they're not gonna stick around as actual characters. Trying to juggle clones in this already big, complex, and somewhat secretive ninja mess is just too much (buuuuut I have been considering bringing them back for the DotD as Jesse's foe to fight ahahahah <3)

I love your interpretation of Reyes son and I was wondering what his relationships would be with characters like you mentioned Illari and Reyes maybe even some overwatch and talon agents. Also what is your vision for his kit you always have such fresh takes with your designs and headcanons so I would love to hear about this🖤
I've honestly played with R.J's personality a lot, initially he was going to be a calmer more sarcastic character like Kiriko and Illari. However that has changed the more I've designed and written him. He's now basically optimism personified. Honestly my best comparison for him personality wise is Telemachus in Epic the Musical. I honestly want to take the "there's too much negativity in the world already, we need more positivity".
How this effects his relationships with other characters though is interesting. With Reaper he doesn't necessarily believe or hope he'll change, however if he does R.J would be the first to accept him back with open arms. However what his present dynamic with Reaper is basically "I mourn the man you were, not the monster you've become".
With Illari it's very much opposites being friends vibes, they are pretty much foils, including in the way they view death and guilt. They both lost a lot at a young age but the big difference was that R.J had a support system. Honestly I think a few interactions would be R.J asking Illari to hang out or come over for dinner.
I think the other Overwatch agents he would be close to are Cassidy and Pharah (basically his older siblings), Ana and Jack. I have a few headcannons regarding these guys, like Cassidy visiting and contacting the Reyes family whenever he could so he and R.J still gave a close relationship, Pharah being the opposite and being so busy with work that she lost contact with him and Martina, Ana having a fairly negative relationship with Martina because of how she treated Pharah and how that affected her dynamic with R.J, Jack honestly feeling nothing but guilt when talking to R.J because of the life R.J lost with Gabriel's "death".
When it comes to Talon agents it's a bit more complicated. I think the only two he wouldn't get along with would be Doomfist and Moira, both on principle and due to how they affected his life. With Sombra I think he'd draw a comparison between her and Cassidy, that or bring up her past with Los Muertos (another HC of mine is that Martina and RJ are living in Dorado). I think he'd also be very curious about Widow and Sigma, likely hearing about them growing up.
These are honestly things I'm going to explore in an interaction post once I plan on making after I finish with his design.
As for his kit, I haven't finalised anything yet but the main thing I want to do is give him kit based on close-mid ranged combat. I also want to give him a kit that fairly high mobility acrobatic kit style along with a stun ability, either as his ultimate or just as an ability.

Don't get me wrong, I think Aurora is a very interesting character, and I personally would love for her to get more attention centered around her DID as a system myself, however, I personally cannot stand her relationship with Akihiro anymore.
I used to like them together, I thought they were cute, but after learning more and more about Akihiro's character and his backstory, I became a lot less interested in their relationship, for a few reasons.
Though they don't get together for a while in X-Factor, it is pretty clear that Williams was setting them up for a romance from the start. Akihiro also from the start, is blatantly mischaracterized as a less intelligent, less effeminate, less sympathetic version of himself. So it feels like Williams was immediately setting him up to be a more "macho" version of himself, to better fit her narrative of him getting together with a sweet, sensitive woman, because we all know that men in relationships with women have to be more masc. (sarcasm)
Before X-Factor was unfairly cancelled (yes, even though there were a LOT of problems with X-Factor, I still don't believe it should have been cancelled, especially with the way Prodigy got thrown under the rug and then had no time to recover from the awful trauma he had experienced before he had to solve the murder of his boyfriend's mother) Akihiro has his moment at the hellfire gala where he dances with Aurora and tells her he knows about her DID. I was shocked when I first read this, I didn't know Aurora was plural beforehand, and as a plural I was very interested in seeing where their relationship went after this regarding Jeanne-Marie and Aurora's plurality, but then we got nothing. They were in Marauders afterwards, but as Orlando's Marauders was such an action heavy book, there was no time for them to showcase this. Or, Orlando just didn't care enough. I don't know.
I haven't read the book this was in, but I do know about the interaction with Wild Child at the Hellfire Gala, which enfuriates me. Instead of the potentially interesting dynamic they could have brought forward, with Aurora having dating a man who worked for Akihiro's actual abuser, they had the fight come off as if it was simply happening because Wild Child was jealous of Akihiro, which to me, feels like they were favoring Aurora's history over Akihiro's here, just to create relationship drama, because you know, everybody loves a good old love triangle I guess. (/sarcasm)
Then we have Somnus, who was introduced as a male love interest for Akihiro, a love interest that he had spent a life together with, even if that life was just a very realistic dream, Carl admits he's still in love with Akihiro, and they still flirt and talk about their life together, as if they're an old married couple. I adored their dynamic in Marauders, I especially really wanted Orlando to write them as a throuple with Aurora, yet when I learned he wasn't going to do this, I simply thought, Why? You introduced this man as a character who was a deeply closeted gay man, who never got the chance to live the life he always wanted. You have Akihiro remember him, bring him back from the dead, to give him the chance to live the life he always deserved, have him openly admit to still being in love with Akihiro, literally give him and Akihiro the chance to make the dream they lived together real, and then refuse to follow through on it? Is this representation, or is it just a way to remind everyone that Akihiro is bi but make sure that this little romance he has with Aurora is still going? Because to me, it seems like the latter.
They haven't even done anything interesting with Aurora and Akihiro's dynamic, Orlando had the chance to finish where Williams left off with discussing Aurora's DID, which is very much a thing that will affect relationships, and I would have been very happy to see whether or not Akihiro is also dating any of Jeanne-Marie's headmates, or how the rest of the system reacts to him, but he never did this.
It all almost comes back to enforcing this narrative of Akihiro going from an effeminate bisexual villain, to a reformed masculine man with a girlfriend, who he apparently ignores his little sister over.
This isn't to say that it's not a good thing for a bi man to have a girlfriend, many bi men have girlfriends, but the thing is, we already have plenty of representation of bi men having girlfriends, and this relationship between Akihiro and Aurora? It's not that interesting. What about his relationship with Johnny Storm, which Marjorie Liu has confirmed as a thing that was going on? Their dynamic was extremely interesting. What about Akihiro and Bobby Drake, which Sina Grace very much wanted to happen? We could have been given an actual enemies to lovers storyline, where Akihiro and Bobby both make each other better? And for crying out loud, why can't he have an actual relationship with a character who was literally created to be his love interest? Why can't we see Carl and Akihiro getting to live the life they always should have been allowed to live? And most of all, why can't we let Akihiro go on a journey of self discovery, where he learns to heal from the years of trauma, especially healing with his family, and get closure with Romulus?
What gets me the most is in all the ways I've previously mentioned in this post, their relationship could have been interesting. We could have seen a woman with DID in a relationship with a queer man, we could have seen Akihiro going through a hurdle in their relationship over Wild Child being Aurora's ex, we could have seen a feminine queer man in a relationship with a woman, but instead, we got this.
~this post is NOT an excuse to hate on Aurora, her being stuck in this romance with Akihiro is NOT her fault and she is still a very interesting character outside of this relationship. please don't hate on Aurora in the notes. this post is also not meant to shame people who ship Auraki/Lightclaw, just a personal grievance I have with their relationship~

I’m curious as to what you think elain and Lucien have in common, personality wise? What do you think their story will be about? What will be their conflicts? Obstacles? Suspense? That kind of thing.
I love you for this ask and I apologize because you're probably about to get way more than you bargained for.
I'm not sure SJM has created two characters who so strongly mirror one another. Rhys and Feyre were similar but they had noticeable differences to me in terms of their personality. Like Rhys really struggles with forgiveness and letting go of the past while Feyre is pissed at 3 pm, then over it at 3:04 pm (with Tamlin it was more like 3:55 but she's even moved forward since ACOFAS while Rhys is still holding a grudge as of SF). 😂. Feyre is also more open while Rhys still tends to hold his schemes close to the vest.
But Elain and Lucien. They are these two characters who have both suffered immense losses and violations to their bodies. Yet they still internalize their anger and sadness and don't lash out at others. I think people mistakenly believe they don't have much depth as a result but I actually think it's because of their reactions that prove how much they actually feel. All the times they aren't talking, yelling, or demanding to be seen is time they're spending turning everything over in their head. They're also observing the world around them, they're watching the interactions of others. And all that time they're spending simply paying attention adds to their knowledge of how relationships and society in general function.
They have also both ended up in places that they did not choose for themselves. Their responses to that are what I'd consider both a strength and a weakness. I love their optimism and attempt to make the best out of any situation they find themselves in but at the same time, they can be too complacent as a result. They haven't learned to fight for what they want and where they want to be and instead just allow life to happen to them.
Some other very similar core values they seem to share is a respect for tradition (I actually could provide text from the books to support all this but that would end up being extremely long so I’ll spare you). They have both mentioned an awareness of traditions and values of a certain place and why it’s important to uphold them.
They both share in the ability to apologize for having made mistakes and we actually see them make changes to their behaviors showing that they've learned from those mistakes.
It’s a weird thing to note but neither Lucien or Elain have said “Fuck”. Lucien has said “Shit” and “Hell” and Elain has said “Hell” but I find it interesting that they both share a similar manner of speaking and neither is what I’d call crass or vulgar. Speaking of “Hell”, they actually insult people in a similar manner and make similar jokes. After the Human Queens left, Elain said they could all “burn in Hell” and Lucien told Amarantha she could crawl back to the shit-hole she came from (we find this out after he tells Feyre about something that was sent (Amarantha) from the shit-holes of Hell. And they both made a joke about Amren being cranky.
They are both extremely social, good at talking to people, enjoy parties, enjoy the outdoors, and neither is afraid to show love and affection to their loved ones. Lucien told Feyre she was a better friend to him than he was to her (I don’t necessarily agree but Lucien felt it) and Elain acknowledges that she failed Feyre (it's note worthy that it happened before Elain even has a book) but realizes she’d always been the foundation that held them up. And both Lucien and Elain have held Feyre in their arms to comfort her at different points in the series.
As far as their story, I think it will start in Spring. Lucien is permanently stationed there as of SF and while I’m not entirely sure how Elain will end up there, there seem to be definite hints that it’s coming. I have this weird head-cannon that I can’t seem to shake that Elain is going to feel the drums of Fire Night and find herself pulled there because the magic is calling her to restore Spring (and she’ll possibly perform in the Rite with Lucien though I could see a few problems with that, one being that if the Magic chose someone for her (even if she were unaware of who that Male was), would she again feel violated as a result? Or would she feel connected enough to the lands that she was comfortable with it. If she is an owl shifter than her physically get there would be easy enough. I've also considered that the book will open with her staying in the townhouse to give herself some independence after some of what happened in SF.
Even if Calanmai doesn’t happen or doesn’t happen right away, I’m still certain she’ll be going to Spring where she and Lucien will begin interacting. I think they will both be extremely instrumental in getting Spring back on it’s feet, helping the people believe in the leadership again. Once that happens, the armies will be in a stronger position to join in the upcoming war efforts. And I do think the reason Elain will be capable of this is that she's been gifted Goddess of Healing like powers to restore a fallen land.
I also see them traveling to the continent to help free Vassa. It’s possible Koschei is Valg and from TOG we know that fire can defeat him though I don’t think Lucien’s fire can stand up to the lake where he’s at. There’s a line in SF where Briallyn states Eris’s fire wouldn’t have withstood it so I think that’s a hint of something that will be a problem for Lucien. Either this would be an opportunity for Elain to step up and use what I think are her healing powers (again, something else we know that can defeat the Valg) or maybe along with Elain’s powers, Lucien will discover more of his Day powers. I’m not 100% if they’ll actually defeat Koschei or just manage to free Vassa while Koschei finds a way to escape from the lake. If SJM plans on bringing the Asteri to Prythian in the final book (and depending on what number book Elucien’s would be) than I could see her having them defeat Koschei in their story since the Asteri would then be the new big bad.
Major conflicts would be both Lucien and Elain addressing their past loves and finally letting go of them so they can move forward. Elain learning to let go of her stubbornness over something she believes wasn’t her choice and realizing that even with accepting her destiny, she still has a choice in it. I don’t think Elain will act quite as hostile as Nesta did towards Cassian but I have no doubt we’re going to see a little fire from her when she first starts interacting with Lucien. She might touch upon how her sisters and even Az view her as someone in need of protecting when she no longer needs it. I also think we’re going to witness the emotional bombshell that is Lucien discovering who his real father is as well as making some sort of peace with both Eris and Tamlin. I’m not sure Lucien will ever have the same close relationship with Tamlin as he once did but I can see them finding peace with one another and then maintaining a casual acquaintance in the future. I do see his relationship with Eris growing stronger though.
Really, there are so many loose threads surrounding both Elain and Lucien. She would take their story in so many directions. (Will they stay in Spring for awhile or head to Day? Will Helion be High Lord for years to come or will SJM find a way to have Lucien take over? Could Lucien step up as High King? ). Personally I don’t think the Autumn Court will play a huge role in Lucien’s book only because I feel like it would make more sense to be a focal point if Gwynriel end up together (what with her unknown grandfather and all and Eris, looking to take over the throne, as an ally of the NC. But still. Lucien does have ties to Autumn, Spring, Day, the Human Lands, etc. and Elain has always wanted to travel. They both have unknown powers, they’re both sort of the underdogs of the series, they are the only Mates of the series who instantly knew they were Mates and had the bond snap into place.
I could be way off base with all of this but I just hope that the one thing I’m not wrong on is an Elucien endgame!
Also, I apologize because I was rambling with my thoughts and it might all sound a bit convoluted!

Catholic Bat Family Brainstorm 3 (inspired by @incomingalbatross)
Alright, alright, alright, let's do this.
So, for those that don't know, this is inspired by @incomingalbatross's posts about a Catholic Bat Family, and since I really enjoyed it, I decided to make my own posts about it. I already made two posts about it, one giving a synopsis and the other talking about Cass, Steph, the Rows, Duke, and Tim's evolution on all of this.
Now, here's something that we haven't thought about yet: How would Bruce's faith make impact on his travels through the time stream?
First, lets break down the time periods:
Stone Age
American Witch Trials
Golden Age of Piracy
Post-Civil War/Wild West
1930s Noire
Time Masters' HQ
Present
So, personally, I don't think the Stone Age affects him as much. Sure, he kind of becomes a god to this one tribe, but it's not something he has direct control over. However, this time around, while he might not all of his memories, he stays a lot more sane during everything because in his very soul, he still believes.
He definitely has a lot stronger opinions during the Witch Trials, though. While he fights the devil-worshipping witches, he never uses anger. He pities them, in fact. Also, seeing his ancestor kill a woman for "witchcraft" will definitely stick with him (and definitely something to talk to Father Brown about), he does not let it define him. He uses as a reminder of what happens when we let go of reason and grasp solely faith: it gives way to blinding rage with no control. (Also, Puritans discriminated heavily against Catholics, Jews, and Quakers in the early days, so that definitely affected how Bruce interacted with them).
I don't think anything big would change in the Piracy Era, Wild West, or the 1930s (except for a few strong opinions on satanists), but if anyone has something, please feel free to share.
However, he does come home slightly rattled, not in faith, but in spirit. For anyone who ever visited a place of suffering (concentration camps, refugee camps, genocide memorials, extreme poverty, Hiroshima, etc), it's that feeling. Speaking with a certain Father Brown definitely helps settle him, and he gets up wanting to be God's force of good in the world, as he's always done.
He also proceeds to hug the heck out of all the kids and Selina, starting with Tim and Jason.
Alright, I think that's gonna be it for today. Not my best work, I know. Maybe y’all can help it make it better. Again, go check out @incomingalbatross and her posts on it, they're awesome.
God bless and have a good one!!

2.02 thoughts!
DAMN Crowley talking to the goats about himself, basically, yeah? God will destroy you for no fucking reason.
Muriel is such a John Finnemore idiot character. Love that.
My ambivalence to Ineffable Bureaucracy aside, Gabriel remembering the song even after putting all of his memories into a fly is pretty sweet. (Gabriel is also such a John Finnemore idiot. He writes great idiots.)
This whole thing with the Scottish pub's jukebox feels like something that should have been given to Maggie to investigate, maybe. Like all of the stuff that the human characters were able to look into for the viewers' benefit in s1/the book - it feels like too much of a digression for Aziraphale when there's so much going on in the plot. I feel like it could have helped to make things less jam-packed.
Aziraphale doing the little miracle to get the guy out of his seat (and seeming to be closed to get away from street association man) - again, a little selfishness!
When I first watched this ep I KNEW he was going to characterize Maggie as having a "pash".
I don't like the Jane Austen joke ... I know I'm being a killjoy/taking it too seriously. A friend pointed out that it's very Doctor Who-ish and it is. We don't have TIME for stupid jokes, there is too much plot to cover.
Truly love that Peter Davison is Job and Ty Tennant is Job's annoying gay son. "Bildad the Shuite" is so silly that it really pleases me.
The first time in history that Crowley insists to Aziraphale that "no I really am evil and awful, I'm such a bad guy"? And he's immediately proven wrong.
I always liked the idea that Aziraphale discovered the pleasures of human food himself (with pleasure in physical comforts and food/drink being his own personal love of the Earth to mirror Crowley's), but it being something that Crowley introduces him to, as supreme lover of Earth, works as well.
Aziraphale being jealous that Job gets to speak to God (when was the last time God actually interacted with any angels besides Metatron? is she talking to the archangels, even?) when God is just lecturing him like an asshole, asking him questions he obviously has no answer to ...
I am such a child, the "reach into his robe - no, higher" joke really landed with me.
I feel like Gabriel and Michael would have questioned the number of children being given, since she was supposed to have seven? Also makes me wonder if the poor woman still conceives seven more times, since that was apparently divinely ordained. (I guess she could still miscarry. I just want to save her from seven births at her age.)
The "our car, our bookshop" conversation hits so well on a second viewing - but again, so selfish. There is no way he has ever considered the car shared until the moment that he needed it!
Pride and Prejudice foreshadowing/parallel - Gabriel sort of was an angel in possession of a "good fortune" as supreme archangel, and the first line is sarcastic, but he did find himself in want of a wife, of sorts. I'm connecting the dots! (You haven't connected shit.)
The interesting thing about Aziraphale's abusive relationship with Heaven/God is that it's a staple of fic, yet ... not quite like this. The focus in my experience is usually on him being directly bullied rather than on the doubt engendered in him by God/Heaven doing shitty things and his fears about what doubting would mean (though tbf I don't read as much GO fic as I do OFMD fic). I'm sort of eager to see if people jump on this.
Crowley thinks he's so adorable when he's freaking out about being "fallen". So cute so cute so cute. How does David Tennant load so much affection into his smile? And the "as far as he can" callback ... *chef's kiss* It is interesting to me how in/after s1 I was very into the dynamic where Crowley gets off on protecting Aziraphale, and now I am kind of like "... he's been GIVING for so many centuries, when is Aziraphale going to turn around and match that?" Some of that is obviously echoes from having seen the finale, but some is definitely what I was thinking as I watched the first time. (Presumably the answer is "in s3," obviously.)

I just thought of something, about what you said about group hugs and Karai earlier, what if they use Miwa to convince Karai to accept hugs and physical affection, since she so obviously needs it? Like, maybe Miwa is being a big fussy, and they say, “she needs some group cuddles”.
Karai would NOT be super on board with the group hugs. She wouldn't understand the point or even like it very much. At first.
Like she knows very well that humans Need Touch and physical affection (we do, actually, babies can Actually Die if they're not given an appropriate amount of physical touch) and she is perfectly happy to give Miwa lots and lots of affection. She has no compunctions or shyness in doing so. She'll blow raspberries in her tummy and not get embarrassed. She also knows that Miwa WILL actually get more benefit from varied social interactions, including physical touch, so is protective of her but perfectly happy to let Miwa have fun playing and snuggling with the others. She actually prefers it- not because she has trouble with contact with Miwa, but because she's made of rock, and rock does not for very good snuggles with babies make. Miwa doesn't particularly care but Karai has noticed she can get little bruises and scrapes sometimes
So Karai is perfectly happy giving Miwa affection but also will encourage the others to give her it too. It's hilarious. She will randomly give you a baby to hug and glare at you if you try to put her down.
But physical affection towards Karai? A whole different ballgame. Karai hasn't gotten much of it in her life and has often in fact associated being touched with being harmed or training. She's fine with contact for training or sport. In fact she likes it, enjoys being able to touch other people with agreed upon rules. It really, really doesn't help that Karai's reaction to random touches with no warning is stabbing or leaping into the ceiling like Spiderman.
You see, the unfortunate thing is trolls are a HUGELY touch based culture. Trolls make contact all the time. Hands, shoulders, nudges, shoves, kicks, cuddles, pressing against someone, and we've seen countless times how important forehead touches are among them. They're even more touchy than humans. They're known to make cuddle piles and they sleep in nests and will randomly climb up to sit on each others shoulders if the size difference allows. They're very, very touchy especially with family
Changelings on the other hand only see touch as a threat. But they also still need it because they are, originally, trolls. Karai is stuck in the awful hell of being both touch starved and touch repulsed. Trust me, that shit's not fun, especially when you haven't yet realized the touch starved part and only know that touch makes you panic like you're dying
And human touches aren't the same as troll touches, so most ways of physical affection the gang show won't be nice at first. It'll take a while before Karai starts to react well to being touched and she probably won't ever react well to hugs bcz that's a lot of restraint. But the gang will totally slowly learn troll physical touch language. Little nudges, leaning, maybe even once Karai gets comfortable enough she might tell them about how trolls typically show affection.
To nobody's surprise, trolls show a lot of affection via roughhousing and fighting. (Raph gets a bit emotional, as she wrestles with him the most) This isn't super great because she's made of rocks and is very hard. They also learn a lot more of the less violent ways and can sloooowly work it into their overall language. Sitting very close, random shoves and nudges, and shoving their way into her personal space in ways that lets her know they're coming so she doesn't get spooked.
The first time she falls asleep around them is very emotional for many many reasons, but partially because she likely latched onto the nearest of them and can't be removed. YOU try having a rock snake assassin latch onto you in her sleep. Do YOU wanna wake her up? No! She's already scratching you on accident! You're not getting scratched because she panicked!
Tbh, turtle piles are probably one of her first more comfortable methods of contact. The turtles already pile together when they're tired and need comfort. Karai hasn't had a nest since she was very little and piled with other changelings for warmth in the Darklands. But once she can get past the anxiety and fear of being trapped... she probably melts
It's a sad fact that she'll likely ALWAYS have the immediate fight or flight reaction to being touched, but there's ways around that and the family is 10000% ready and willing to work with it
#ah fuck i have more ideas but let me jsut post this first#ask#the-literary-lord#my stuff#trollhunters#my writing#two daughters au#2012 karai#tmnt 2k12

His bronzed fingers stroked through inky tresses as they lounged upon pale crystallized shores - far away from the bloodied fields of the European countryside; instead the landscape was draped in silver outlines. Haruko glanced downward at Tarhos with lazy eyes, his expression softening while his gazed traced over the scars and contours of his companion's face. Ah - what thoughts ran through Tarhos' mind when he looked at Haru?
Did he feel anything?
It isn't as though it mattered. Haru wanted to offer him freedom, not at the cost of his autonomy - not if Tarhos thought he'd have to somehow pay him back somehow. Regardless ... At least there was peace here. He was sure that was one of the greatest gifts he could offer. He had found the Knight dripping in sanguine poison and bruised beyond what any human should be able to withstand. He had been beaten down over and over - until any semblance of flickering dignity was extinguished by his own blood.
The skies endless navy reflected in the pools of his iris, gleaming stars shimmered across each wave of color and glistening hue - the expanse of sea and sand, however, seemed pale in comparison to Tarhos. How could anyone or anything match what he saw inside of him? Haru found himself staring down at the man's head in his lap, his eye widening in focus as he remarked the peach sunburn reddening the Knight's cheeks; pure unadulterated intensity. That's how he always was: a burning inferno incapable of fully fizzling out. And not even the cool azure of Tarhos' returned stare could drown it.
How far had they gone now from the Knight's home? Where did he like best? Surely these white beaches and clear waves doused in moonlight had to be at the top. If not just for the fact he was holding him with a tenderness he wouldn't dare share with anyone else; he only hoped Tarhos was smart enough to figure it out. Lust was easy to talk about - a fleeting wisp of an interaction that resulted in nothing but a night of pleasure. Love was - if that's what this was - ... much harder to discuss. It held risks. Maybe too many. Fucking up this wouldn't only result in his own heart breaking, but Tarhos' too - he'd lose a friend, an ally, someone he loved to listen to. There was no way he could risk it first.
"It's nice here. I love the crew but - heh - they are crazy shits sometimes. I'm glad we could be alone for a little while, I feel like I haven't seen you at all since that storm came through." He had, but the ship was in chaos and everyone was on desk trying to keep the damn thing from capsizing. Not the best 3 days. "Is, I imagine, is a lot different than those shit and gore covered fields of your home? Or is it too warm for you?"
Pirates
The night was calm, though compared to the past three days both of them had, standing in the middle of stampeding cattle would still be calmer. He swore he got a few new scars just from the boat trying to fight him on what it wanted to do, but.... this was nice. The gentle roar of ocean waves that fell into a gentle lap once they met the shore. The knight never imagined he'd enjoy things like this so much. He usually hated the ocean. Being packed on a ship to head to some foreign field to fight for whatever noble needed their dick stroked that day. Tarhos always swore he got sick after, like the very idea of being so far from his few comforts made him ill and ate him from the inside out.
This. This was different. It was something he chose to do. Haru was someone he chose to follow and he'd yet to regret it. Not when nights of raiding turned into passionate kisses behind closed doors.... even if he knew he could never have him. He'd resigned himself long ago to knowing the captain would never hold the same affections. He flirted with men and women alike, Tarhos just so happened to be his favorite. He much preferred being his favorite dog than anyone else's even with the melancholic taste it left in his mouth watching Haru sleep. Tarhos knew he'd leave as soon as he found someone to settle down with and all he could do was cherish the moments he had.
He never had the luxury of enjoying other's company, this was new. Probably the only thing that scared him was that he craved his touch. The way the captain's fingers stroked his scars and traced his jaw like he were something fragile to be treated with care. The knight never got to feel that way with anyone else. His eyes slowly fluttered open to look up at Haru hoping his gaze didn't betray his emotion like it had done many times before. How badly he wanted to kiss him and be held close.... he didn't want to ruin the moment.
"Hm?" Haru's voice caught him off guard freeing him from his thoughts as he focused back into reality. Ah- right. Where he came from before this man became his home, "....I liked the fields. Both gore covered and not. When spring would hit it'd light up in color from the wildflowers and animals. I used to dream of dying that way... sinking into the earth and finally being one with it. I think I'd make a beautiful patch of flowers." Despite how grim it was he had a soft smile, closing his eyes and leaning into his touch like it was the last thing he'd ever feel.
"This is nice too though.... It feels like the few times I'd been to Greece. Without the statues. It's warm and it feels like summer most months, but the sea keeps it from being unbearable and it almost gets too cold sometimes below deck when we're sleeping. I miss the fields sometimes though... Just the spring. The flowers and everything, I don't need to repeat it. The ocean starts to look the same after a while, but there's good company. I couldn't imagine leaving, not now." The words died on his tongue, the ghost of a confession lingering unsaid.
He didn't need to ruin the moment.
