The ages in this show!! I have made some jokes about this before, but it gets me - with aging Ciri up and bringing her closer to Jaskiers age when they meet I can not help but draw parallels. Like Geralt bonded way differently with both of them (which makes sense because Ciri has been his Child surprise since birth and Jaskier just randomly turned up one day and followed him like a puppy) but it's so funny to me. also I'm 100% sure Jaskier was horny as fuck from the beginning so there was a whole different vibe from the get go

i always love to see queer irene <3333 i think thats partially bc we already know she crossdresses so it makes sense to play around with her sexuality & gender a bit?

i wanted to let you know that i watched the first episode of granada holmes (a scandal in bohemia) and it was so fucking good i am obsessed. i was a little nervous to watch their adaptation since irene adler usually gets done so dirty but i was very pleasantly surprised at how they treated her!!!! she was an icon from the moment she came on screen with a gun <3333333

i also love the holmes and watson dynamic so far!!!! watson did a lot in the episode to help holmes and it was so fucking funny watching holmes give zero fucks about social normals and watson working overtime to make up for holmes, lmao

yayyyy!!!! this is the only version of irene in any adaptation i like :) (im sure theres at least one other really good one out there though) she IS an icon <333 i agree with the king on one thing, what a woman! did you notice her little gay moment? its around 19:30 when she checks out a dancing women whilst drinking with the king (booo)

yesss its really good!! the way holmes expresses caring via little things like buying watsons favourite cigars too <333 or making him stay for the case <333 and watson cares right back, yelling at holmes over his cocaine habit, which is something i love about the books, so seeing it in this series is so nice :)

i love holmes' disguises as well, he really does look like a completely different person and i love that that part of the books wasnt removed :) especially his clergyman disguise, he looks delightfully comical with the bandage around his head

i believe this episode was actually the third filmed? i know solitary cyclist was the first for sure, bc they wanted the first episode to be really good, so they made sure that they all had a bit of experience with this series first :)

Already said this but since everybody is too busy on the failmance happening im gonna say it again: Vi starting their confrontation by saying “never thought [my sister] would orphan kids” only to be stopped from killing jinx. By an orphan kid.

#i'm sorry anyone who says 'it's just a tshirt' does not get it #he took a step and asked dai for something (however unclear that was tbf) but dai didn't realize what it meant for shun #so he brushes it off and shun feels rejected (BIGGEST fear) and out of instinct reacts by pushing dai away #i've had that same reaction with my partner of literally 5 years and guess what we are FINE #because we communicate and i explain why i acted the way i did out of instinct and they understand (which is what dai and shun DID)#and ppl need to give shun some kudos he fully understands that his level of reaction is somewhat irrational but he can't control his emotio #and he's a complete BABY in my eyes like i wasn't 27 until i started working my issues out #so for him to be 23 and starting to learn how to be in a healthy relationship is huge imo #the boyfriend netflix #the boyfriend

i personally cannot wait for s8 to start with an episode that focuses on the new normal under gerrard and on the eddie drama potentially. just for a small (or big?!?) bucktommy hint to be dropped in the middle or end to say that we are SO back!! 😍

Gosh, i am truly excited for whatever they do with the plot and arcs for the characters. It’s 911 so we know what we are in for. I worry about bucktommy for many reasons. I mean, we still have zero confirmation about Lou being back, and I don’t want to get my hopes up by going “when x happens” like certain unhinged fans of a certain fanon ship that shall not be named act. I want it so bad to see buck and tommy navigate through their relationship this season (I’d love to see them on a call together or maybe tommy gets hurt and we see the effect it has on buck), I really do, but unfortunately I will hold on expectations until there’s a undeniable confirmation from the 911 gods.

But we can manifest, besties. I’d love a big or small hint throughout the episode too!

#if yall don’t know why my expectations are so low I’ll explain here #I was in the #julie and the phantoms #fandom a few years back and I was very involved #the fans (me included) were really hyping for a second season as there were many positive signs that the show was going to be renewed #we all were like ‘when season 2 comes’ this and that #but as you can guess such thing didn’t happen #it took more than a year after the first season premiered for Netflix to say anything whether the show was renewed or cancelled #Netflix didn’t even have the balls to officially issue a statement #the creator of the show announced during a con and it was absolutely heartbreaking for all the fans cause we did A LOT #people created podcasts #got the show trending multiple times on here and Twitter #had watch parties to make it trend on Netflix #got the reaction YouTubers to become fans etc #and in the end none of that mattered #so now I take fan expectation with caution so I don’t get disappointed #911 #lety rambles #bucktommy #ask

mum wasn't much into DS9, she didnt like it when it was airing, and only really started to get into it in the later years of her life. she loved quark. but still, i'm glad she got to see "dr. bashir i presume?" before she died

i think it should be mandatory for streaming services to allow people to see full library of content that is available in the viewer's region without having to sign up.

like it seems really disingenuous to me that people are expected to pay for the service before getting to even know what they are paying for beyond "there will be cool videos that you can watch".

#once i signed up for service to watch specific series that was available on there... only to find out that it was only available in US #also like years ago i signed up on some streaming service only to discover that the dvd collection we had at home was bigger than the #streaming service's library available in my country. i think this was netflix when it had only recently started gaining traction in finland #may have been some other one but you get the point
