I have to say, Hippolytus has become one of my favorite myths/Greek heroes, and not just cause we're both AroAces... mostly

Now the basic story is- Man just wants to live his best hunting life with the goddess Artemis without any relationships and then Aphrodite goddess of Love looks at that and goes "HOW DARETH NOT SHIPPETH" and eventually causes his death by his own father... which tumbles into Asclepius death and Apollo turning human... again

Well here's some things I'd like to say that should be talked about more, some headcannos some retelling some filling in blanks

Hippolytus is a PRINCE OF ATHENS. Heck he's Theseus' son. THE Theseus. He probably still had expectations and a job to do as a prince. It wouldn't surprise me if suitors tried to get him married. Like, men from across Greece would LOVE to have their daughter we'd to this guy, the prince of Athens! Think of the power and stability. Think of the stories where Hippolytus just runs into the woods because he hate she responsibilities and doesn't want to get married. And his dad probably forcing him to choose! WHERES THAT.

Let's remember the maternal side of his family. Aka the badass warrior Hippolyta, THE QUEEN OF THE AMAZONS AND DAUGTER OF THE GOD OF WAR AND THE FOUNDER OF THE AMAZONS. I know Amazon's don't like men, but as shown with Hippolyta with Theseus and later Heracles, she still respects strong men. I believe his mom LOVED him, despite being male. Was so proud and adored him, teaching her son the Amazonian ways. Not to say that his grandmother, Otrera was probably still alive. Probably didn't like men like her daughter, but could respect her strong grandson, ESPECIALLY WHEN SHE FOUND OUT HE JOINED ARTEMIS HUNT. YOU KNOW, ONE OF THE 2 MAIN GODS OF THE AMAZONS. Aka I want to see how Hippolyta and Otrera felt about him.

Now depending on the myth, Hippolyta can be related to 1 to 3 gods. Aka he has the highest record of a Legacy... I think. His grandfather's are Poseidon(Theseus dad)and Ares(Hippolytas dad) and with a stretch, cause I like this Headcannon, his great grandfather is Eurus (Otrera dad, God of Fall and the East wind). So is no one going to talk about how this man is related to 2 powerful Olympians, one of the Wind gods, a descendent of the Amazonians, fierce women warriors, and the son of Theseus, the slayer of the Minotaur????? OH AND HES LIKE THE ONE OF THE FEW MEN ARTEMIS EVER LIKED. THE ARTEMIS. If Ancient Greece had resumes he'd be winning

Talking bout Artemis... it's hard to believe after the Orion incident...which I don't think is too far apart... that Artemis, who befriended a male, giving him a chance, and then him becoming feral and destroying wild life, her sacred place/animals/domain, or falling in love with her, aka the ONE THING YOU DOMT DO. So for Artemis to just get another guy to join the girls only clun.. yeah there was probably a deeper reason and relationship under that. I feel like she met him when he was young, after him running into the woods night hating the royal life, and he helps some girl, probably one of her Huntresses, gets her attention, and they talk about Hunting and hating love, you know fun stuff. I feel like she kinda raised him, teaching him hunting, the importance of life, respecting women, hating love... aka a mom figure(because I'm pretty sure Hippolyta was running the Amazon's and couldn't bring her son with her) so yeah. I believe they had a mother-son relationship. It makes sense it's adorable it also explains how far Artemis would go to bring him back to life. KNOWING THERE WOULD BE CONSEQUENCES. Bruh she didn't even try to resurrect Orion. Just saying a mother's love is very strong.

On that note... I feel like Asclepius and he actually knew each other. 1. Asclepius is nice guy but not dumb, he wouldn't just be handing this cure to death to anyone. Now Artemis could have threatened him but that's whatever. In retrospec, they're kinda cousins, and I feel like they had a nice relationship before his death. ALSO. CAN YOU THINK OF THE ANGST?!? How much guilt Hippolytus would be feeling after. HES THE REASON ASCLEPIUS DIED. YEAH HE DIDN’T ASK FOR ANY OF THIS BUT HIS COUSIN DIED BECAUSE OF HIM. I want those two to reunite and Asclepius to hug him and tell him everything's okay and it worked out cause now he'll help people forever as a god.

Finally. No, he wouldn't forgive his farther. Probably already hates him after, leaving his mom, being a horrible king, not understanding his wished for not wanting to get married, not believing HIS OWN SON OVER HIS NEW WIFE, OH AND KILLING HIM. I want the Hippolyta, Hippolytus, Ariadne, and Zagreus "WE HATE THESEUS" club. Please. It be hilarious. On the topic of Hades game- YES I WANNA SEE HIPPOLYTUS MAYBE HANGING OUT WITH HIS DEAD MOM PELASEEEEW.

I Feel TFOne Could've Handled This Better...

Hot take but I feel like folks have been really generous with the take that OP was unable to find ~the perfect words~ in the heat of the moment (and thus should be given some grace) when he told D to stand down and "not be like Sentinel"... namely cuz I don't feel that the narrative supports this?

Like-- after all is said and done, OP doesn't reflect on that part of their split. He doesn't have a moment where he seeks validation or voices his regrets over the choice of his words, it's actually cut-and-dry. The narrative (as it stands) supports that OP saw D-16 acting up, so he called him out and stood on business, down to the last scenes where he's basically like "yeah it's a shame but y'all knew I had to do it to 'em."

It didn't have to be much! I'm not saying to absolve Megs, just show OP looking at things from a different perspective/contemplating a bit on that tough choice and the morality of the moment. Some examples of what I wish we had:

B-127 straight up blurting the obvious by later chatting with Orion like, "Wait so you told your best friend that he was acting just as bad as the guy who enslaved us for our entire lives and was torturing him like an hour ago? Oof. Seems kinda harsh." Then have some of OP's regret show on his face.

OP asking Elita-1 after Megs is banished if he did the right thing. Have Elita back his choice up, saying, "You should have seen what he did after you were... gone. It was terrifying. I know it was tough, but you made the right call." OP is grateful for the support, but a conflicted look still flashes across his face before he steels himself to look out towards the horizon... and the future.

Have OP walk past other mechs/former miners who didn't go with the High Guard saying stuff like, "Wish I could've given Sentinel a piece of my mind!" "Yeah, but I'm glad he's gone for good." "Ugh I miss everything." "Oh, it was crazy! Megatron picked him up and then he rrrrriiipped-- oops, hey there, Mr. Optimus... Prime... sir?" And have OP wave hello, looking a bit sick when they leave.

Post-credits scene with Starscream going on and on, asking Megs when they'll be back to teach the upstart Prime a lesson. Megs grabs his face to shut him up. "Patience, Starscream. The Prime thinks I'm no better than Sentinel... but I'll show him. He wants Iacon? He can have it. In the meantime we'll take the rest of the planet! Then I'll come back, crush Prime under my heel, and we'll take Iacon too. Sentinel's reign will barely be a footnote, because I'm about to become Optimus Prime's worst nightmare." The vocal performance would really need to sell this-- like picture Megs saying something like that from a place of anger and hurt, not so much a place of genuine evil or malice.

Basically instead of Orion's assertion being backed up as black and white/good vs bad, I wish we had some different opinions/reactions from the characters sprinkled in there. Like you can't tell me out of allllll the miners who weren't strong enough/willing to go with the High Guard and ended up sticking around that NONE of them were like "eyyo honestly?? Kiiiiinda glad Sentinel is dead. Wish I could have helped, tbh." like come onnnnn...

And you can't even argue that he's not an active threat-- I don't think everyone would see things that way! It's not just about the threat he physically has, but the threat he represents and is very likely to act upon if given the opportunity! He has a proven track record of not only being sneaky and conniving, but also capable of dealing some serious damage/killing people bigger and stronger than him, plus he has the backing of the Quints. All he'd need to do is wriggle his way out of jail and run off to his sponsors, then he'd probably be back to hurt more people! (If the Quints didn't just kill him out of incompetence lmao). There's a lot of "ifs" here, but I think it's a valid argument that not everyone would agree on what is the right or wrong way to handle Sentinel once he was down long enough to, like, do something about him.

I feel the situation needed a bit of nuance. In some way I wish they had kicked the can and had D and Orion bicker while Sentinel escaped, then have D get frustrated enough by the loss of Sentinel to point fingers (and his fusion canon) at Orion, who then falls and becomes OP. (Megs could still show some of thar emotion/remorse right after he does it too.) Not only would this open the door for a sequel, but tbh the Quint might have just killed Sentinel anyways and sought to deal with the miners uprising themselves lol. (Maybe that could have been an after credits scenes too instead of the B-127 bit??)

Would love to see a moment in a sequel where they have a calmer moment after arguing for a bit. Have OP mention how Megs was out of line, that it hurt and even scared him to see him act that way, and Megs can quietly point out "you said I was as bad as Sentinel... is that really how you see me? After everything we went through?"

Then OP can fumble the bag again lmao like "D, I... I'm sorry, that didn't come out right... but you still took things way too far..."

"Why am I not surprised-- your opinion is what matters the most! Maybe that's why you became a Prime, since you're so good at acting like the world revolves around you--!"

Legend of Vox Machina

OKAY. Draconia.

Okay, for those who do not know about Tiberius know the player was expelled from the show early on, and if you are curious as to the details please go read this, I am acknowledging this happened just for the sake of talking about the adaptation and I dont want to just bring up drama for the sake of it.

Okay so. To recap, in the original stream, there was a character, the Dragonborn Sorcerer Tiberius Stormwind who was part of Vox Machina, whose player was expelled from the show in the middle of the Briarwood story-arc. His backstory is that he was a prince from the kingdom of Draconia, a flying city ruled by Dragonborns in search for magical items but, once his player left, Matt sent him on his way to do his things.

In the original Chroma Conclave saga, when Vox Machina meets the sphynx Osysa to find a way to defeat the Chroma Conclave she... reveals Draconia was destroyed by the Chroma Conclave. Many episodes later we learn that the ruins of Draconia had become Vorugal's turf, and the party decides to scout the area which comes with a series of revelations.

Draconia, we learn... wasn't as nice a place as Tiberius believed. They had a class divide between Tailed Dragonborns and Tail-less Dragonborns, with the later being oppressed by the former. so the now freed Tail-less dragonborns living in huts, had welcomed Vorugal and the freedom he had brought initially, but they were willing to ally themselves with Vox Machina to get rid of him.

But the most important part is that the party discovers... Tiberius is dead.

The last appearence of Tiberius in the show, is as a frozen corpse the result of his battle against the Chroma Conclave. And the party decides to give him a funeral.

And it's an emotive scene. Regardless of the player being toxic, this was a character the rest of the cast had grown attached to since before the streams began. not the least that due to Orion Acaba no longer being welcome, this was as final a death as you could get.

And it was something that would be impossible for the animated series to adapt, since neither the show nor the fandom would ever want Orion Acaba anywhere near the project. There are people who legit still Love Tiberius, but who would throw up at the thought of that happening.

So here we have the best next thing the show could have: a new character in the form of Dohla who is legally distinct from him, her backstory is changed a lot and Draconia is altered to still exist in this version.

Because you know, the emotional connection to the place is no longer here. And instead we have Dohla sell everyone to Vorugal both because of wanting to save her people, but also because she was jealous and hurt by Kima and Allura.

This is to say, I absolutely loved that the show decided to have the Not!Tiberius Expy be mauled by Vorugal for finding her annoying

Senator Shockwave in the TF1 universe, he’s a friend to Orion who greatly admires him. D-16 is ofc very very jealous and Orion is very very oblivious. Hilarity ensues, the miners take bets on what’ll happen first, D-16 has a jealous crash out or Orion stops being oblivious.

"I don't like you hanging out with that senator." Orion looked up from his bench. Putting the rest of the mining gear away. He tilts his helm slightly to the side, giving a confused look.

"How come?"

"I just don't. He's up to something. Why would a member of the senate want to willingly spend his time with bots like us?" D-16 continuing, grabbing ahold of Orion to stop him from doing anything else. To stop and look at him as they talked about a serious manner.

Orion looked at him, really looked at him, and soon the other minors were looking their way, as if anticipating something.

"He's my friend. Just like how you and Elita are my friends. If you can trust Sentinel, then you can trust Shockwave."

"That's different." He raised his voice,before lowering it. "Yes sure I idolize Sentinel. But I don't know anything about Shockwave."

"I've told you things that he likes to do."

"Again,that's different. That's not public knowledge. Orion I don't want you getting hurt." Both servos were gripping Orions arms, pulling him in closer. "Please just,,,, I dont-" what else could he say?

"Oh. I get it." Wait what? Dee lifted him helm up quickly. Scouting out Orions features as he smiled at him wide. No. No he knows that smile.

"You're jealous." NO WAS IT REALLY THAT OBVIOUS!?

"You're jealous I got a senate friend. And you dont." That is so far from the truth.

"If you wanted to join, you could of just asked. Shockwave, can't say no to me!" Before D-16 could even stop Orion, he had most likely commed the senator, because his smile grew even more as time passed.

"Great. Dee you coming with me to our metting."

"Hold on. I never agreed to anything like that."

"Oops too late. I already told him you were coming, and he said yes. Guess you have to go now."

"You are insufferable Orion pax."

"I know."

"Alright, everyone the betting pools are still active, we are at 450 shanex for the D-16 blowing up in a jealous rage, and 820 for Orion stops being obvious to Dee's advances. Anyone wanting to add more?" Jazz called out, as Prowl and Arcee took turns gathering the money, and putting in the new amounts.

Elita stood there watching this all play out. Orion and D-16 none of the wiser as they all purposely kept this hidden from the two miners. She just knows one day it's all going to back fire on them. And there's going to be a secret third option.

42 years Chanan Yablonka was a father of two. He was last seen in security footage from the Nova music festival, walking through the parking lot, but hasn't replied to his family's calls. They knew that all of the four friends who had been with Chanan in the car in which they tried to flee the scene had been murdered on Oct 7, but no one knew what happened to him. It took 90 days to find the intel which changed his status from "missing" to "kidnapped." IDK if people understand the nightmare that not knowing is for the family. Now they do, and can bring him to his final resting place.

30 years old Mexican-French Orion Hernandes Radu was Shani Louk's boyfriend. They met abroad, and were together for almost a year. He was also the father of a little girl, and a musical producer of parties who worked all over the world. On Oct 7, his dad got a message in Arabic from Hamas, saying that Orion was alive, well, and kidnapped to use him for "political trade." He and Shani went to the Nova music festival together, and the vid of her stripped down, raped, abused body being taken to Gaza, to where people were celebrating in the streets and a boy spat on her still bleeding corpse was the first thing I saw of the massacre on the day itself. Now we know they were both murdered then, kidnapped together, and their bodies were returned to Israel one day apart.

59 years old Michel Nisenbaum was a grandfather, and on Oct 7, at his daughters' request, he went to get his 4.5 years old granddaughter from a military base in the south, where she was spending the day with her dad, an IDF officer. On the way to the base, Michel came across people fleeing the massacre, and as a volunteer paramedic, he helped several of them. When his son-in-law realized terrorists had invaded Israel, he called Michel to tell him not to come, but Hamas terrorists were the ones who answered the phone. One of his daughters said that from the moment she learned about the terrorists replying to her dad's phone, she knew life would never be the same again. At his funeral today, his former wife thanked Michel for the family that they built together, for an extraordinary friendship they had, for the way they learned to deal with everything life had in store for them, and promised him she'll keep guarding all that they had between them.

ohh i dont even know where to start… well i guess i should state the obvious: GRAPHICS ARE ABSOLUTELY GOAT. its not just about textures, colors and lighting (which are peak honestly i wanted to eat every single frame), but about… how do i say… the feeling of size, volume, construction. its hard to explain, but i think you’ll get what i mean - the way characters feel, the way environment feels, the way interactions between characters and between characters and environment feel. things feel REAL and this is. just fucking AWESOME.

but ofc good graphics can’t save the movie from being garbage. BUT THE PLOT CAN.

honestly, i did not expect the plot to be SO GOOD (especially considering that for the last decade the only transformers we’ve seen on big screens was bayverse… that isnt famous for deep story)

At first, this whole new vision of the great war’s origin is a HUGE breeze of fresh air (so huge its not just a breeze anymore ig). the whole story with war with quintessons, sentinel’s betrayal (ASSHOLE), and miners basically being cogless slaves… damn thats something. (also i especially liked the idea of starscream being a leader before megatron and talking to him as to somebody of lower position. and then fleeing. this mf just cant be the leader. anyway the whole higher guard thing is the topic for another talk)

but wait wait there is orion and d-16’ relationship. probably THE BEST thing in this movie. its oh its just… well, at first, these are probably versions of optimus and megatron that have the closest relationship in the whole franchise. and thats just simply because they start as equals: just two miners who are working together in the dangerous environment almost like slaves, and take care of each other. but their relationships are so tender, so caring… because they don’t really have anything besides their friendship ig? well ofc there are dreams of finding the matrix and taking iacon out of crisis so they don’t really have to work in the mines…. but, its all just dreams, the only real thing that they have right here and right now is each other.

but then came the power. oh yes it did. and you know what happened next. megatron chose revenge because HE was deceived. HIS whole life was a lie. bro doesn’t really think about other cybertronians as much as he cares about himself and oh god it shows. while optimus thought about the people and only then about himself. and thats the true reason behind their conflict, its not the question of violent/pacifistic way to achieve the goal, its about what matters to them.

and we could actually see that even before the team gets their cogs:

“did you do it for me?”

“no, i did it for us”

this “us” is not just they two, this “us” is the whole cast of miners. i mean considering just WHAT participation in this race meant for miners. they arent worthless slaves, they are capable of doing better than this! this is what orion wanted to show. both to his fellow miners and to regular cybertronians.

well im out of words for now. its clear as day that ill come back to tf one more than one more time. ive got really inspired and yes its going to last.

I just want your opinion on this idea I had

Like a transformers one AU

So uh you know about (if you do <:) ) the Netflix series called

'the 100'

So I was like thinking what if Cybertron was abandon and sentinel took all mechs on this ship up to space 'for the greater good'

And like only sent 100 mechs down to Cybertron to retrieve energon to bring back to the ship

(cause they would be running low on energon)

And Orion was one of the very few chosen to go down on cybertron

(along with a few familiar autobots, like bee who could be a tech worker, elita a chief or commander, ratchet who could be a medic accompanying the 100 ( I know he wasn't in transformers One but kinda wanna include him)

Ofc MegOp ship is welcome

Like enemies to friends ( or allies ) to lovers type of thing

And uh Megatron (D-16) could be leaders of the grounders/ basically the decepticons (who were still on Cybertron) and Meg despises uh sentinel (something that has to do with the truth to what happen to Cybertron and what sentinel has to do with the quintessons/ like something similar to what happen in the movie)

You get where I'm going with this <:)

Is like a similar plot line to the 100 but with some parts of the transformers movie being thrown in.

ok i have been thinking a lot about how sirius ended up with grimmauld place, and im going to rant about it under the cut

so, the most likely (imo) (with jkr kind of in mind) theory is that yes, sirius was disowned officially, but he still has the last name black. since all his cousins are married into other families, when regulus died the house went to sirius automatically as the "last black" despite his being disowned, since there were no others with the last name living. sirius being the og heir probably strengthened that.

the second theory, which is also quite possible, is that the inheritance was going to go to either bellatrix (eldest) or narcissa (eldest with an heir), but sirius (probably with help from dumbledore/moody/possibly bill) managed to override it sometime during GOF. if that's the case, though, it seems odd that the house was seemingly abandoned before the order/sirius moves in.

my favorite theory though is that sirius was never disinherited at all. maybe he was bumped down behind regulus, maybe not, but he wasn't taken out of the will entirely at any rate. and okay, here we're getting into like - conjecture and headcanon territory, so yknow, fair warning.

we know that sirius was a lot of things that a pureblood family would value in an heir - charismatic, confident, talented in magic, intelligent. regulus on the other hand - well, we dont know much about him in terms of his talent for magic, though it can be assumed he was reasonably intelligent since he figured out the horcrux thing, but we do know he was a lot more predisposed to following rather than leading. where sirius was confident in his own beliefs, ready to make his own path, forward-thinking, etc., regulus was happy to idealize and follow voldemort.

obviously, this is why sirius split from his family - their beliefs did not align. but despite that, siriuss personality lends itself a lot better to being the head of a great house. reguluss loyalty to voldemort could have been a good thing for the black house, sure, but if voldemort failed it would be ruinous, and throwing all of one's weight behind one leader, one plan, the way regulus seemed to be doing isn't really the mark of a great leader.

this is 100% conjecture, but id argue that the blacks were in decline, both in money and power. despite an enormous amount of pride in their house and generally giving off an old money vibe, the black vault is never referenced as particularly grand, and they only have one house, and a townhouse in a muggle area at that - grand, but nowhere near somewhere like malfoy manor or the other country mansions pureblood families of status seem to favor.

it makes a lot more sense for orion, from an objective point of view, to leave everything to sirius. regulus was unlikely to make their house into anything great, more interested in worshipping someone else, but sirius had real potential, and if the blacks fortune and power was dwindling, it makes more sense to put the future in the hands of someone more adaptable, who might be able to turn things around instead of being stuck on one path. blindly following someone else doesnt really lend itself to greatness, or potential.

here i think its also notable that siriuss parents were never death eaters. they agreed with voldemort, sure, but they never threw their weight behind him. that, i think, is the old money pride talking - they thought of blacks as being akin to royalty, and royalty does not let someone else take the reigns, tell them what to do, etc. even if voldemort had succeeded, leaving the inheritance to regulus would make their family successful only as long as they remained attached to voldemort, comfortably under his thumb. leaving everything to sirius would be a risk, but the potential payoff would leave the blacks at least with their pride intact, independent. which, yknow, maybe a bit insane, but again - old money pride.

i also think that in general sirius being a golden child who went astray when he went to hogwarts is a lot more interesting (and plausible) than him being the family scapegoat from the jump. hes the heir! and again, hes all the things a family like the blacks would look for in an heir! i dont think their family was ever particularly, like, healthy, but the narrative that sirius was abused and hated from a young age doesnt make all that much sense to me. and in ootp we see glimpses of sirius having a complicated relationship with his family, especially his mother, which hints more at a bond gone sour than outright hatred.

all this to say that sirius was a much better heir than regulus, politics aside, and i think orion and walburga may have seen that, or at least been unwilling to let their wayward perfect heir go completely, and left him on the will in some capacity.

The mental space he had created for the pilots and their friends while he finalized his experiment, his orion, something had gone wrong and he had to step into the simulation, it seems not even he was able to resist its pull

- im glad they work, if it wasnt for me we would be wearing normal pilot suits - shockwave smiled a real smile something he hadnt done in years

- why not listen to some music, you always liked classical right? - orion reached for a radio that definetly wasnt there and turned it on

The "evening" progressed much like this shockwave trying to regain his memory and find the exit while entertaing this "orion"

When it finally hit him

- you know, jazz i have been getting really into jazz recently i dont know why but it has made me really relax whenever i listen to it- orion said  after taking a sip of his tea

That pilot jazz and his alien mech, what was his name growl or something? They teamed up to fuck with progress with his orion and now it was time to fix this

Walking between the simulations was something, first aid, what was his real name flex or something, was dissecting an alien with vortex, the real human version of vortex at his side, by the heated look on vortexes face it seems like the activity was about to change

The combaticons or rather onslaught, blast off and brawl were all getting drunk reminiscing about the good old days back when they were simple mercenaries brawl was trying to see how many cigaretes he could fit into his mouth

Deadlock ratchet and hot rod were all at ratchets home deadlock was in his vehicle mode drifting while hot rod was inside having the time of his life and ratchet supervised

Swindle was awed at swerve while blurr was laughing his ass off at swindles expression swerve flipped into alt mode and somehow swindle got even more bewildered with blurrs laughter geting even bigger

And finally his targets growl and jazz they somehow got out of the simulation and were trying to wake up everyone it was an easy fix just tweak a few things in the code and ban they were back where they belonged they were in a spaceship prowl was teling jazz about the stars and the constelations they formed he was talking about the constelation of orion and jazz was listening very closely not missing one detail

Before departing he took one last glance to it all orion waiting for him at a table in the void the pilots the setient mechs sighed and went back to the real world back to his orion to finalize his experiment it was worth it it will be worth it everything he told himself and opened his eyes and went back to real life

July/August - James Potter and Lily are named Head Boy and Head Girl.

October/November - Lily finally agreeded and started to go out with James for some dates

— ୨୧₊˚ a little reminder about what happened in last part - me and remus got together, and basically we are girlfriend and boyfriend, we spent time with each other more, trying to get ourselves more into this change yk 🥹

OKAY ANYWAY

after last day of school me and remus promised ourselves that we will write to each other as much as possible. boys did not know about ‘us’ because we didn’t know if this whole relationship will work 😭 so it was our little secret, but not for long tho

in july, when me and sirius were back at grimmuald place, sirius got himself into a HUGE fight with our father, and said to me “idk what you gonna do, but i will not stay here any longer”. he did not tell me where would he go, some days after this fight he left in a middle of the night. he just left me a note to do the same, and that in some weeks he will let me know where he is. i kept that ‘letter’ to myself.

when i tell you that walburga was PISSED. P I S S E D . as well as our father. they would fight over it, and finally, when it was clear that sirius is not coming back, they burned sirius face out of this family tree.

ar least they are proud of regulus 👍 good job mate. you will die. soon. like girllllll

especially that i’m super attached to him. he is my little brother and i knooooow that when i will shift again his death is gonna hit me like a train, BUT WE DONT TALK ABOUT THIS RN LETS GET BACK

when sirius left walburga was super suspicious about me and always was looking at me, controlled everything etc. i knew that if she would find out about remus, she would probably punish me for it or smth, so i sent last letter to remus that he should not write to me because my parents went WILD over this whole situation.

in august i felt empty??? i could not get any letters from remus, i missed him, i missed sirius. he did not sent me any letter after he left, but i knew that it’s probably because he knew what the hell is going on in the house rn. also, regulus started to ignore me, like walburga and orion did. annnnnnnndddddd that’s when i didn’t back off, and started shouting at him (reggie) and when walburga heard it, she wasn’t happy 💀💀 so she decided to fucking punish me, but this time i was like “hell no, fuck off” and the same night i left grimmuald place 12 behind me, in my past. i took everything i could with me, some clothes, books, and it was whole huge operation, because walburga and orion are those kind of people that when something moves behind some walls, they wake up. so what i did, was that i added sleep potion that i made in my room to their drinks that they were having before going to sleep. well, it worked HA.

but when i left this house, i was like “bombastic, but what am i going to do now 😭😭😭😭😭 i was literally without any house, i did not want to bother anybody, especially that it was 2am in the morning 💀 andromeda did not tell us where she lived so i had no idea where i should go, and the only person that i could think of then was remus. i knew where he lived, he wrote me his address in one of letters i got from him.

so i went there. by foot. call me crazy but i did that. i took some muggle bus and was on his street around 4am. i knew it was very early but i hoped that he will not be mad about it, or his father. they were living at the edge of london, it was quiet and lovely place to live. when i was looking round for his house, as there were only few of them, i looked up and i saw that it was full moon 😭 and i didn’t realise that before. so i was still looking for around like 25 minutes, and i finally found it. AND YOU SHOULD’VE SEEN MY FACE WHEN I SAW THAT LIGHT IN THE HOUSE WERE TURNED ON

so i went to the door and knocked. i saw some movement in the window and was like “yuppp this man will think that i’m a freak. good job to me i guess” i waited a few minutes and he finally opened the door. i started apologising to him that i’m sorry that i’m here at 4 in the morning, that i know his son etc. then he fully opened the door and it wasn’t lyall lupin IT WAS REMUS 😭😭😭😭 i literally was so so so happy, i mean, he was shocked, i was shocked too because i thought that it was a full moon that night, i hugged him and he hugged me back IT WAS SO CUTE IM ABOUT TO CRY I WANNA GO BACK THERE SO BADLY

so we stayed in this position for some minutes and he finally made a step back, looked at me and said “what are you doing here?” so i started to tell him what happened few hours before, that sirius is somewhere god knows where, that he should write to me but i know why he didn’t, i was talking really fast and finally he was like “yo chill out, just come in and we will talk about it later, you need to sleep” (yup i’m living my y/n life LMAO) so basically he took my things upstairs and told me to sleep in his bedroom, and that he will figure out what to do later. so i went to sleep

it was like 11 am when i woke up, so i just went down the stairs to find remus, but he wasn’t there, so i just looked around and guess who i met in the kitchen 😭😭😭 lyall lupin ladies and gentlemen 😭😭😭 he was like “emmm you are tara right?” and i was like “yessss that’s me 💀” he was just walking around the kitchen, but he was nice to me tho. he said that remus went to james to tell him that i’m here. i was like “oh yup okay” so later i found out that sirius was living at james house the whole time 😭

so i wrote a letter to him telling him that i am at remus now, but i said that i don’t want to bother his family, so probably i will leave in a few days (i didn’t LMAO, remus stopped me) so that’s how i was living for next month, until school started. i got along with remus father, he is a nice guy, also he has good sense of humour, thank GOD 😭 idk finally i felt loved and as i was at my own home. thanks to the lupins 🫶

lyall left few days before school started, he said that if i would need anything, he can buy me some things on street, but i was fine, as walburga buys everything that is needed already in june, so yup, i was stated for new school year 🫡

on a 1st day i finally saw sirius again, gosh i never thought that i would be happy only by seeing him in a crowd. remus told me what happened after sirius left grimmuald place 12, at least the part that he knew about. by this i also mean that he forgave him about what happened, so we were all good 🫶

on a train i found out that james and lily were chosen to become next head boy and head girl, which is the reason why they got onto each other.

sooooo me and remus relationship was still a secret, but i think that boys could feel the change between us, especially sirius, i mean it was kinda obvious 😭 we did not “hide” it, we just did not tell them 💀 there were signs, like sometimes remus put his arm around my back and hold me like this, or during the day when i tried to keep contact with him. basically only lily knew about me and remus. i told her right after everything happened in june, sooooo yup she knew since the very beginning.

whole September we were all excited to start new school year, but something started to feel different ??? but that was because of war.

but let’s concentrate on hogwarts rn 😭

so me and boys still took turns to stay with remus during full moons, remus wanted to complain about it because of what happened few months before, but he finally said yes.

soooo everything was fine at hogwarts, we were doing great, james and lily started to talk to each other, she would tell me about the conversations they had, but when i asked her “do you like him” she acted like she was angry and ignored the question or answered me with “don’t be ridiculous” soooo yk something was going on between them (finally) also sirius and remus told me that james is talking about her ALL THE TIME and that they are super tired of it. about peter,well, he was quiet as always 😭 so nothing changed.

me and remus were even more opened about our relationship, we were more confident about it? we were showing it ig 😭 and on one day in the middle of october, sirius, james and peter caught us in a common room and told us to sit down, their face went literally 🤨🤨🤨 and james started talking “okay what the HELL is going on here” so i looked at remus, remus looked at me, and i finally said “oh yeah we re together” and sirius went WILDDDD he literally looked at remus and went “THATS MY SISTER YOU MANIAC” and started chasing remus across the common room 😭 it was SO FUNNY 😭😭 after they were done (about 10 minutes later lmao💀) we just sat down in their dormitory and they were doing this police kind of thing where they are asking questions and shit 💀 pretty crazy but yup they knew since then

and because of that we could be more open about us and be ourselves bc of that. sirius was sometimes overdramatic about it but he got used to it i guess LMAO

also sirius got himself into detention 😭😭😭 AGAIN i’m super sick of this at some point 💀💀 he started to bully severus again, so i get it, but now lily did not react (he called mudblood as yk)

but james was a little bit out of business, because he wanted to impress lily, and you could see that. literally he was not helping sirius and peter with their pranks for a while, so he could convince lily to him, which was so cute ☹️

in the beginning of november me and sirius got letter from andromeda, that she heard about our escape from grimmuald place 12 and that she is super proud of us 😭😭😭 she asked if we have some place to stay and etc. to be honest, i didn’t think about it 💀 i didn’t want to bother remus but still i was too young to bus myself a house from money that i saved. sirius told me in the beginning of school year that he will stay at james during next summer, so he could later buy a house from money that he got from ⭐️

i just wrote back to andromeda that i’m okay, and i just did not think about it. it was not time for that too.

also, from weird things that happened in november is that on random day, when i was leaving great hall with remus after lunch, regulus wanted to talk to me??? like excuse you i guess? but yup he’s my little brother, i was worrying about him the whole time tbh 😭 so remus did not want to go away, he checked if i’m okay with him leaving, i just nodded, so he hugged me and just left 😭

sirius ofc threw the whole party, but i passed. i wanted peace lmao. remus sat with me in his dormitory and we played some games, then dorcas and lily joined us, then james and peter. we had so much fun, it’s such a core memory 🫶🥹 I MISS THEM SO MUCH i’m sooooo homesick but yup i just gotta make my way back there (somehow)(even tho i know next shifts are gonna be awfully full of angst, i’m not ready tbh)

WE WERE CELEBRATING and lily finally told me she likes him a lot and that if he would not be such a dumb-ass sometimes she would talk to him earlier 😭😭😭 i’m super happy for them literally waited for that moment for SO LONG. and sirius threw a little party in their dormitory so everyone were happy ❤️‍🩹

on christmas ofc we gave each other presents, but sirius went CRAZY this time.

1. he started dating a girl called daisy from ravenclaw (which was pretty crazy cause he didn’t pull up any girl for like a year or something?) this time he said that he really like her and will try to keep this relationship for longer than 3 weeks (they lasted like 3 months maybe 💀 james even made bets at this point 😭)

2. sirius and james were running around common room with a mistletoe to force people to kiss including me and remus 😭😭 pls guys i love them so much but WHAT

james and lily went out few times during december, and when lily was coming back to our dorm she was super happy and even tho she still had her opinion “but he is a dumb-ass sometimes🙄🙄🙄” she seemed to really like him???

sooooo also james invited sirius, remus, peter, lily, dorcas (and more actually it was a full-ass list with names of like 15 people and i’m too lazy to name all of them sorry 😭😭 maybe during editing i will do it) for new year’s eve, so we all needed to left hogwarts for christmas 😭 like girl i DONT HAVE A PLACE TO LIVE RN 💀 sirius stayed with james at his house, and remus told me that lyall is not coming back for christmas so we can go and live at his house for those 2 weeks, and we decided to do so ❤️‍🩹🥺 GUYS YOU DONT GET IT LIKE I LOVE HIM SO MUCH AHHHHHHH PLS BRING ME BACK OMG

and also i think the most memorable moment from these 2 weeks is remus christmas present, and by that i mean, he bought two tickets to “muggle” opera, and it was AMAZING. later the same night he told me the story how his parents met, and we played his mother records (i scripted that she was an opera singer!!!)

TF1 SPOILERS DO NOT READ IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE SPOILED!!!!!!!!!

So I've heard some people say that the conflict between Mags and OP comes either out of nowhere or doesn't have a long enough lead up and I have to disagree. You can see it started in the cave, when OP is trying to figure out what to do with Sentinel. It's implied he wants to put him in jail of some sort, he wants justice while D-16 says he wants to kill him.

I'd imagine death means a lot more to them considering their life spans are super long, D-16 saying he wants to kill Sentinel in cold (arguably hot) blood is probably a sentiment thats unheard of.

At first OP doesn’t really take him seriously, he kind of laughs it off but after they are captured by the high guard that’s when D-16 starts to show he’s changed. It’s not just him taking the map from OP or his new quiet attitude, it’s the fact that he doesn’t trust anyone to lead him, not even his best friend.

There’s so much we could talk about with the scene with D and Starscream. It’s very…Interesting. But what got me was D-16 just leaves, or gets up to leave. He’s done with bullshit. He wants nothing to do with this group of idiots, until they give him what he’s whited his whole life, validation.

They cheer for him as he beats their leader down. It’s a really good scene, especially because that’s the first time we can really see OP realize how serious D was about wanting to kill Sentinel. It wasn’t just him being mad in the moment. Who he is at his core is angry, frustrated and in some cases, bloodthirsty for justice.

In the time after they get kidnapped, OP is trying to figure out a way to show the people what Sentinel had done, yet D-16 was too angry to even try, all he wanted to do was show Sentinel he wasn’t scared of him and in the end, kill him.

I think the divorce scene was amazing. I know we as a fandom call it that as a joke but it doesn’t really feel like a joke here. OP is trying desperately to not just save D-16 from this act that he can’t take back but he’s in a way, saving Sentinel from a death that even if he deserves it, he very obviously doesn’t want it. Sentinel was defeated, they would have thrown him away in jail for the rest of his very long life and OP knew there were worse things than death. No one would follow him again but D-16 was so angry that he couldn’t stop.

When D-16 basically kills Orion you can see the old D come out, his voice, the way he grabs his hand, it’s truly the moment they both died. I think the Movie was amazing for not having D-16 change back into who he was before and it’s so jarring to see him RIP SENTINEL IN HALF?!?!?!?! Crazy. Crazy crazy crazy! I am still in shock that this movie was PG. “No, I’m done saving you.” Is a crazy line. Especially because OP would have never stopped trying to save D. It killed me in theater. I cried at that part. I think that Megatron’s growth through out the movie is very well led up to, how he goes from this very shy, timid, follow the rules bot, to a very angry, and murderous leader.

But yeah I’m very excited to see what the sequel looks like and hopefully this leads well into a new continuity.

more sneak peak speculation

ok no more being defensive about this jam, gonna talk about things that i think are interesting/could go places. Feel free to reply with your own theories, just no outright negativity? pls? (I dont mind saying you don't like certain things in the context of analysis, just maintain the basic assumption that the writers are trying to tell a story in good faith).

1. In Charades, Spock learned that being fully human would not solve his problems. Any gains he got in connection with his crewmates, or greater emotional availability had tradeoffs: losing who he fundamentally was. Him not being able to connect telepathically with his mother must have felt like losing a limb if that limb was a childhood memory.

I'm seeing how the crew is seeing all these supposed benefits to being Vulcan. But I think faced with the prospect of being Vulcan forever, greater work efficiency is gonna take a huge backseat to completely losing your identity and sense of self.

2. I commented before on ethan peck's acting, but I love how he always does these subtle things in the vulcan centric episodes. Like in Spock Amok, how he became Gia Sandhu with changes in micro expressions. In this one, it is amazing how he goes from feeling extremely vulcan in his demeanor to just "switching" a vibe and feeling so much more human. His exasperation at his colleagues being rude fucks that think they know more about Vulcan than he does was incredibly well played. Can't wait to see how he unpacks it for them and teaches them to do better -- im sure they will get backlash from other humans, too. He is like the only Vulcan "acting normal" in a room of other Vulcans that don't do it right.

3. I love La'an especially how she looks in askance to the things she does to spock, like "am i doing this right?" sorta how spock looked for his crew on tips about how to behave like himself in "Charades". I need to rewatch it, but it feels like they are all play acting what they think Vulcans should act like, and not quite getting it. People are right, they are playacting Vulcans, because that is what they think is expected of them.

4. I love the depiction of the increased sensory perception, almost like they are tripping. I love these investigations into neurological differences, as a person with a lot of sensory overload/sensory seeking behaviors, I appreciate those being displayed in characters. The neurological differences not being "just culture" is what I loved about aliens being portrayed as aliens. How does culture evolve from the material realities?

5. I do like that Pelia and the rest of the bridge crew didn't expect them to complete tasks faster. But they do. The purpose of them being vulcan was not to be hyperefficient. It was a side effect that is tempting to this workaholic crew, but not the purpose of the transformation. I especially want to see how La'an reacts to this long-term.

6. WTF is up with the lirpa? Why do they have one? How is it required to contain radiation? I mean it looks badass but I need more context to their mission.

7. bonus: scotty is so cute. we are so lucky he got added to main cast. This has nothing to do with the episode. I was just so happy to see him.

8. secret bonus thing: I mentioned this in another post, but the fact that their hair grows/is braided/is different is such an amazing visual language. I like them being willing to play with costuming to tell a story here, instead of just having ears/eyebrows. It is a very novel storytelling technique. It reminds me of the end of "These old scientists" where the cartoon aesthetic is used to depict the feeling of orion drinks. SNW being willing to play with the medium of the message is so unique to modern sci fi.
