Shashwati runs a hand through her hair and closes her eyes, feeling the soft breeze in the balcony of her room. Kal Chaudhvi Ki Raat thi plays in her phone, almost a murmur of a breath while she plays with her anklets, the day's stress slowly leaving her.

The silder door opens behind her and Shashwati doesn't open her eyes, not even after she feels her husband sitting beside her, a respectable distance maintained.

"Wife." Amrit says in greeting, sounding amused. Perhaps he is, he's definitely seen her sitting like this on their balcony way too much after a long day.

Shashwati opens one eye and looks at him, changed into a comfortable tshirt and sweats, finally. She quietly greets back,"Husband."

"If I didn't know better, I'd say you love Jagjit Singh more than me."

Shashwati snorts. "I definitely love him better than you." She opens her eyes and turns her head to look at him. "How was your day?"

"Hectic. I despise signing events more than I despise deadlines." He says, propping his feet up on the small coffee table in the balcony that Shashwati got after their marriage, seeing as how many nights her husband spent in the balcony, pouring over his novel and writing it continuously. "How was your day?'

Shashwati shrugs,"Same old. It's going to be valentine's day in a couple of days so I did see a decrease in the attendees of the class, but honestly, whatever. Good for me. I get to relax and teach easily."

"Relax while teaching criminal psychology, do you?" He grins at her cheerfully, very proud of himself for the poke.

Shashwati raises her eyebrows in a taunt,"I'm sorry, which one of us is a romance author and yet had an arranged marriage, husband?"

"Ouch!" He says with a dry grin,"And unless you were already in love with me when I first came to see you, did you not also have an arranged marriage, wife?"

"A criminal psychology teacher having an arranged marriage is expected, Singh ji. A romance author, though? Nope. Kisi ko pata nahi paye kya?"

Amrit laughs and steals a sip from Shashwati's coffee. He makes a face at how bitter it must taste and Shashwati snorts.

"Ab aap jaisi koi agar aise hi Bina mehnat mil Jaye toh kisi ko patane ke zulm kyu uthaye koi?"

Shashwati shakes her head and laughs,"Seedha seedha bol dijiye na ki aalas thi aapko."

Nights of Chaos Masterlist

Summary: When Andromeda was eighteen her big sister, Orion, mysteriously disappeared. Five years later she’s a private investigator obsessed finding out what happened to her sister. Andy is grasping for straws and is about to give up when she remembers the stories Orion would tell her about a world called Nykhos. Her sister claimed to have a journal that transported her to the other world whenever she wrote in it. She always thought the tales of her sister’s journeys there were made up until she writes in the magical journal and ends up in the fantasy world of her childhood.

It’s just a Narnia-esque idea that still requires a well thought out fantasy world. So, It’s a long ways off from a first draft.

Just wanted to share an interesting musing: a friend and I at one point bemoaned how hard it is to find niche unhinged flavors of fanfic in newer fandoms (like "I spawned a crack treated seriously/horny af/goblin idea and I made it your problem" kind of writing) because it always feels like a lot of fanfic feel weirdly hallmark movie-esque (repressed? sanitized? family friendly?). And they wondered if its because of the rise of puritan/morality/censorship ideas in fandom. I had a lightbulb moment and said maybe it's also because fanfic tend to be posted in Big Main Sites (ao3, ffnet, wattpad?) instead of scattered into archives (or even personal blogs) that once existed. Could go on with the possible effect of having social media as your first internet thing and not grasping the concept of archiving and your own personal internet space (as social media doesn't reward you for that). But yeah, do kind of wonder if the weird hallmark vibe we get is both because of a fear of being accused of evil and the urge to be seen and praised in a one-sided competition against an ocean of writers.

Musing on fanfic anon pt 2: Also just generally that having nearly everyone yeet their fic in Main Fanfic Sites (in which! I am not complaining, as someone who has seen LJ and fics getting deleted but-) makes it just hard to sift through what you really want, even if you're using search functions in overdrive. Anyways musing over.

I think you'd have to define what goblin ideas you used to see more clearly because I can't tell what you're actually describing here.

I haven't noticed any particular change in the kinds of fic that astolat's buddies write. A lot of oldschool types, me included, always aspired to write basically sff novels but with more gay or romance novels about our blorbos. You know: professional-ish prose, coherent plots, etc. They might also be horny af and if our kinks are "weird", then the fics will be weird, I suppose, but only someone who's having trouble believing that anybody could really like that kink is going to see them as crack.

I used to see more "LOL, I wrote this on a sugar high!" type author's notes, but they were never big in the part of LJ that built AO3 and so they're not big on AO3 either.

The "I like hobbitses, especially when they touchessss each other" type fic is still mixed into the oldschool LJ stuff, just in the small proportion it always had. (Yes, I saw you all clicking on that in 2005 and pretending you didn't find it hot.)

I guess it really depends on what kind of unhinged you're looking for.

Honestly my biggest fear is to end up writing my characters the same way vivzie does, I feel like she doesn't even try on certain characters(female characters and literally any other that isn't her "uwu baby boi must be protected at all costs" characters like stolas, angel dust). Like imagine completely missing the point of your own character/srs

to everyone pre-release worries and anxieties just as much as I have-- Please take this time to read or explore different interests of books or authors of subjects and genres you like ! In the era of internet where the golden age of information is rusting into brainrot, the less time online anymore the better. I've been taking javascript/python tutorials for myself attempting to make a dating simulator for literal years at this point and its bounced around to the point of where I branched off to develop my own murder mystery 2-d sidescroller !

I wish for this to be a farewell letter to the crushed hopes and dreams I had for the original hazbin pilot and crew has moved on to other things whereas viv attempted to spitefully keep a story she clearly doesn't have any passion over- it is very evident over her lack of care for her own characters purely for the monetary gains of attempting and sadly wriggling her way into industry the way she did is so abhorrent to the world of genuine art and animation I grew up with.

Has Vivzie ever read a Felix the Cat comic strip or Dilbert even Hägar The Horrible? Does she even know about the history and strive of depth that animation has been at for hundreds of years? Does she even like comics, clearly not if she doesn't even have the patience to write her own and horribly rush whichever story she's interested in that day. I've never seen a careless writer be this selfishly unashamed to write literal garbage and surface level 'intrigue' of design and then falling flat face first at EVERY step. Hope she becomes as unbearable of a director as John K. is because honestly even though I'm cringing making that comparison, it's pretty fair in my book considering the outright ABUSE she has always trying to talk or hoard artists into her 'pet project' I recommend above anything else to watch Dan Stamanolous' 'Moral Orel' if you want an actually funny dark comedy or Christy Karacas' fast paced dark horror comic-come-to-life Superjail! for good animattion that doesn't belittle its audience... *[Trigger Warnings for Adult Swim-esque outdated 2007 humor and light transphobia, read for your own triggers if you dont want to though, please!]

The fact that Stollitz is written so flimsily like a wattpad fanficiton of tropes rolled into one is astounding to me, I used to like the dynamic pre-season 2 as I've mentioned on here and @tired-hellowl so I really don't want to get a headache going into how I USED to like it-Realizing the problematic consent issues all of STOLASS is, I physically cannot watch another Helluva or Hazbin promo anymore without rolling my eyes into the back of my head.

To the anons and people who used to also enjoy vivs work, there are other artists and there are other stories to tell. If you wish to be inspired from Dante's Inferno/Hell or WESTERN CHRISTIAN BASED RELIGION keep in mind what source material you're doing because I don't even think vivzie has picked up the bible once in her life.... And I say this as a drifter in the world who believes in reincarnation I don't really vibe with the athiest stereotypes however, I don't believe in most religion but more power to people that do get hope and love from their teachings and cultures.

She entirely missed the mark for several years, nearly a decade. Viv has had time and time again chance and opportunity to give a chance of storytelling with demons and what does she do? Adult Cartoon that has the demons scream 'FUCK SHIT DAMNIT DAMNIT LOOK IM SO HORNY AND SILLY AND WACKY WOAHH THE SCREEN IS CONSTANTLY MOVING YOU CAN NEVER HAVE A SECOND TO BREATH IN ANY AMOUNT OF WORLBUILDING OR SETTING BECAUSE FUCK. YOU.'--

I have said this time and time again- there is no substance or worth about Helluva Bosses or Hazbins writing, even without the show not being released because Amazon seems ashamed about it, I know it'll be a shitshow.

Is that old man agoraphobic or cursed? Why hasn't he left the manor in 300 yrs? What's wrong with him. Also, is he an anomaly in his treatment of humans or is it normal for vampires to be as caring and respectful of human autonomy and comfort as he is? Or are the vamps Wattpad-esque, obsessive, boundaries-be-damned, kidnappers? Or is draining humans entirely the default? Or are most in blood-bank, business like, unemotional exchange relationships with their humans? Where is Rooks family? He grew up in that manor, so who raised him there? Do his cousins come visit and scare the villagers while they're there? Have you ever seen Van Helsing with Hugh Jackman? Are any of his uncles and aunts like that? Is his semen capable of impregnating anyone in that house? Is it cool when it comes out of him?

So the nearest town is like half a days travel away and he can't go out in the sun so him staying inside is more of a practical matter than anything. His treatment of humans isn't the most common, partially because it is difficult to be able to find and house enough willing humans and most vampires get violent when desperate. The upper class ones who are able to manage humans like Rook does don't tend to be As kind but they aren't openly cruel. It's usually more of an exchange, blood for protection or something of that sort. They tend to be more demanding. Rook's family certainly was, he's cut ties with them bc it makes him a little sick to see them treat their humans like they're less than, treated basically like servants.

Very few vampires fully drain humans but that's mostly because, even if you're super violent, why would you kill the thing that could produce food for you? Instead of fully draining them, more violent vampires are more prone towards kidnapping. The only vampires who fully drain people are 1. doing it explicitly because they want the person dead or 2. are so hungry that they're not thinking straight

Rook wasn't raised in the manor, he engaged in some minor fraud centuries ago, faked a family linegae of a dead man with little family and got himself a sick inheritance, it's not that hard to commit weird fraud when you're immortal you can plant the seeds of it and then leave for centuries. Makes it more convincing.

None of his family visits him but he does have a very small number of likeminded vampire friends. This will never show up in a story but Evelyn from The Shapeshifting Detective is a close friend of his. I don't tend to do crossover stuff because I think its cheapens stories but the desire to write her doing her dominatrix shit on Oliver is strong, know in your heart that it has happened and will happen again lmao.

I have never seen Val Helsing so I cannot speak on that unfortunately. He cannot impregnate anyone because he is dead and every part of him is cool so yup, it is lol.

i kinda want to try writing something different. tumblr keeps suggesting me bad omens fanfics and many writers have stories with oc's that are the band's love interest. i used to read those stories when i was young but it was a short phase (ive always preferred m/m fics and reader inserts) but ive been playing with the idea of writing something like this for a while now. it would be an actual story with dark themes maybe and dynamics shifts (but i can't promise a plot bc i suck at those lol) and idk ive never written anything like this and i feel like i should give it a try

i doubt many people will read it because it's a very wattpad-esque thing and maybe a genre that only young girls tend to prefer. will that stop me? no it won't

what excites me about this idea is it'll probably follow the course my reader inserts had over the last three years (bc let's be honest all fics with a female character are veiled self inserts) and the parasocial relationship i have with the boys in my head so. if it comes out the way i want, it might as well become my opus magnum

tbh i'd write it as a reader insert but in reader inserts you can't give reader many traits, that's why you can't write a long story. ive never written an oc in my entire life and tbh it makes me excited

AH I finally have Beck’s official playlist up and going, along with her finalized mood board and icon (separate post), and I think it turned out pretty good! Some of the songs are definitely geared more towards her as a teenager, because that was the time when most of her life shifted and became so chaotic (more on that in the future YJ fic).

But yeah; it took me a while to do, mostly because I couldn’t decide whether I wanted to use the playlist I have of songs I think she’d listen to or the one relative to her character. I ended up choosing the latter, just ‘cause Beck’s angsty and I love sad music, but I don’t think she would really listen to sad stuff (call me selfish). I still don’t really know what her theme song would be, but as TCATH progresses, I’d be more than happy to hear any input you guys have on it!

As for my YJ fic, I think I might begin writing and storyboarding soon, just because I think it’s going to be a little side project of mine. The show itself is already so tandem to childlike wonder to me (that’s the best way I can describe it) and while there are VERY heavy subjects that I would dive right into (have y’all met me?), I think it would be a much easier and more flexible project than TCATH. I’m sure it will be split into two books (one before the five year skip and one after) but I’m thinking there are gonna be a few in between. I know for a fact that I will be filling in some of the space left by the show’s writers in those five years, and that will be my take on what happened (ex: with Jason, why some of the main team left, etc.)

I am busy with school, and I ask for patience as I write. I am still balancing work and hobbies, so I can assure you all that I am not stepping away from TCATH, and I plan on finishing it, however long that may take. I have a thing where I am WAY too attached to characters, so it’s good that I will have my YJ fic and my next two fics in the planning phase to lean on.

So I guess I should comment on what those two fics are…

If you’ve followed me from my Wattpad years, you know that my first fic was, yes, a Voltron fic. And yes, it was heinous and I hated everything I wrote with a burning passion BUT that does not mean I regretted it. I don’t think any author really REGRETS the first book they wrote, but it definitely wasn’t a work of art. It was way too serious in my opinion, and I feel like Voltron is so much more warmhearted and found-family esque that WOTS was just not the vibe. The fic I’m planning scratches some of the main character’s arcs and traits, but (if you read Wielder of the Stars), Raina Callan’s sarcasm and wit is still very much alive, don’t worry folks. She just won’t be paired with a certain Red Paladin anymore, and instead she has a twin brother. And that’s all I’m saying about that.

My other fic will be based on Outer Banks, which is odd because I almost NEVER write based on a live action work, but I love the dynamic of mystery and adventure all while living on an island. I had thought of just writing a mystery murder beach story of my own, but I don’t really have the time for it. I mean, popping plots out of my head for TCATH is hard enough. This fic already has a good cast in my pre-storyboard phase, but there really isn’t much else besides that.

Its mainly fics about him being “shipped” (he had to ask joy what that meant) with fictional men. he found one and thought itd be fun to see how his class interpret him. he closes out the tab and deletes his history after a paragraph in.

Diana: has an instagram and twitter but only bc she technically counts as a “celebrity” kinda. has to keep her followers updated on each new restaurant she tries out and inevitably gets shut down.

Sandy: joy made her get an instagram so they can follow each other and have their names in each others bios like, “my beautiful wife 🥰💕💕 @/sad.cat14.” she sometimes posts her paintings on there and they actually get a decent amount of likes, the amount of eyes on her makes her overwhelmed though.

"Dude!" You pull his face back to look straight (stop being homophobic casey its pride month) at you with your other hand. His eyes are basically hearts at this point ngl. "What's up with you, man? You brought me here but now you're just-"

He pulls your lips to collide with his, his eyes shut tight as he grips the crown of your head, his lips moving against yours in the most beginner way ever tbh. He's trying so hard it's almost charming, your eyes close too as you melt into the kiss, forgetting everything else because in that moment- you found yourself kissing your best friend.

You push his chest away, suddenly hearing a crash in the bushes a few feet to the left of you. "Hello?" You tentatively ask into the near darkness.

Leo awkwardly steps backward, falling through the bush behind him and hitting his head against a tree. "FUCK- "

"LEO- Are you okay?" Jason trips over his feet as he rushes over to the little fire man (not bullying just funny name i swear). "DUDE ARE YOU GOOD??" He pulls Leo up and walks back a few steps, bumping into you.

saw the new hunger games

that was pretty bad. there were a lot of things wrong with it so i theoretically have a lot to complain about but it was such a dumb fucking movie im not as energized as id usually be to talk about it. ill be quick

this movie had all the elements it needed to succeed and totally fucked it. the goals:

-create a convincing and interesting backstory for President Snow

-show how the games were transformed into a spectacle 

these goals were made explicit both in the marketing and through diegetic speeches within the movie. the premise of the story is that a young Snow serves as a mentor to a singer from district 12. she is the “songbird” to his “snake”…. pretty natural evolution from there to see how snow can make her into a celebrity and give Panem a good show. that had to have been the pitch to get this movie through the board. it’s a shame the movie just… does not follow through with it LOL. like thats blatantly the direction it seems to be going in for the first part of the movie. but the spectacle aspect gets completely buried because the capitol - who INSTRUCTED snow to make it into a show - keeps snubbing him and keeping him from acting. the “press tour” that was such a big deal in all the original hunger games is like two days in universe and about five minutes on the screen. completely overshadowed. there’s no camp or glamour. snow is just not a stunt queen here and i think that’s a shame. 

ok, so if the movie doesnt really show how the hunger games became a spectacle, what does it show?

i really couldn’t tell you. the games themselves are uneventful. the tenth annual games are set in what’s basically a parking garage, LOL. it’s a very dismal and marvel-esque set. there’s a real sense in this movie that the capital is still finding its stride and that a lot of things aren’t working for it just yet. the failing drones and the awkwardness of the announcer (this version’s caesar flickman) are nice touches, i really enjoyed them. but i dont think “the capitol is still finding its footing” is a good enough excuse to justify how shitty this year’s game was. excruciatingly boring, like they have no concept of history or the standard that the previous movies set. we all remember the clockwork arena.

so it’s not about the games, so i guess it’s about snow and his tribute lucy? 

well that sucks! they’re horrible characters, my god.

lucy is the worst offender. i know rachel zegler was a victim of conservative harassment recently so i feel a little bad to be trashing her performance. i genuinely dont know if its the fault of her or the script, but whatever it is, the effect is awful. genuinely reads like a parody of a wattpad protagonist. we are given that she is a singer. there is no substance to her besides that. she’s corny. she feels out of place in this setting and not in any charming way, its just annoying and off putting. kind of a manic pixie dream girl to snow. i think its very misogynist honestly? dont write women this way, she’s barely human.

snow is easier to watch and a more likable personality in my eyes, but he’s no better written. whereas lucy has no internal world, the inner workings of snow’s mind fold in on themselves. the movie swears that his motives make sense, that they aren’t confused, but they very obviously are. his allegiances and morals change on a dime. they cant decide whether hes sympathetic or if he is a young president snow and he can seemingly only be one at a time. i honestly got whiplash watching it go down. in fairness, its not like the movie doesnt try to offer motivation for the switches. theyre just not very good or convincing and its not enough to make me forgive them.

so the movie failed at what it set out to do. what else did it fail at? what did it actually do well? i will leave the rest of this review to explain, as well as some changes that i would have made had i been in charge.

the bad:

-pacing was off. movie did not need to be that long, many shots went on longer than they had to.

-costuming was also pretty bad. some of the tributes were wearing shein and fake jewelry 

-lucy escapes the arena not only alive but UNINJURED? peeta and katniss didnt get that. she was surrounded by rebar and murder and snow walked away w more injuries than her. insane plot armor. really dumb.

-there was a human zoo in this movie. in general im really conflicted about this “aracial” Panem. i know its a difficult subject to breach and im not sure what the alternative would be, but there’s something really fucked up about seeing a human zoo, a black child being hung, many of the tributes being people of color, and all of this being brushed over as if their race doesnt really matter and theres no larger historical context in which this movie exists. also this movie is loosely set in the 50s/60s. likewise making the Gamemaster a black woman. im not sure how i feel about it but i think more care shouldve been devoted to the handling of race in this movie.

-there are a couple scenes where an old analog tv is playing and its really obvious they added the scan lines in post-production. looks stupid as fuck. you couldve just used an actual analog tv.

-the rabies scene. lmfao. also i dont think thats how rat poison works but i could be wrong.

-a lot of the action sequences are very dumb and dont make sense. they build suspense and dont do anything to overcome it gracefully. this is really obvious when snow is trying to get his handkerchief into the snake pit without being seen and so he just…. walks over and does it LOL. and doesnt get caught or have to sneak really cause of plot armor. the arena has a lot of kids wandering around or hiding in places where it makes no sense for them to be, they kinda just wander on screen when its time for their cue and only get killed as needed, because someone else got their cue. no gravity or substance.

-lucy and snow’s performances arent just bad, they come across as anachronistic within the retrofuturist 50s setting. as my friend said they have “tiktok face”. theyre too contemporary for my taste

-snow looks like a skinhead towards the end and i dont like it

-arena sucked

-the hanging tree scene was soooo stupid. so was the katniss namedrop. made me wish i was watching a better movie.

-the movie didnt deserve to go on long diegetic speeches about its own themes. i guess im glad, cause i wouldnt have known what the fuck it was trying to do otherwise, but nothing that happened in the story supported what they were saying. sloppy.

the good:

-lucy’s dress was very pretty

-huge credit to the set designers who worked on the control room and the capitol. i see the retro futurist aesthetic you were going for and i appreciate it. mostly a good job, im sure if they let you into the arena you would’ve gave us something better.

-hunter schafer really sold it. i loved her performance even with what little screentime she had. brought some much needed warmth and humanity to this empty ass movie. my favorite character, easily. release the schafer cut.

-like i said, i thought the announcer’s performance was pretty good as well. i feel like jason schwartzman had a better understanding of the theme of “spectacle” within this movie than anyone else.

-i guess the lab was cool? the snakes definitely paled in comparison to other mutts in the series, but they were cool enough. i liked the scene where his classmate got poisoned.

-peter dinklage constantly sneaking hits of morphine was funny as fuck. 

changes:

if you asked me the one thing i would change to fix this movie, it would be any traces of the romance subplot. remove any traces of snow being a nice person. i would have preferred the mentor/tribute relationship to be shown as explicitly and inherently exploitative, because it is! you know damn well there was never any hope for them to be in a healthy relationship for as long as snow was loyal to the capitol. and the writers valued this relationship so much that to save it, they had snow rebel? president snow? the love story, the conflict that snow feels, its all so fucking trite and overblown. it didnt need to be there. just portray it straightforwardly, with snow being a charming person but never kind or counterculture enough to really risk lacy over the system. he should have been eviler and more clearly identifiable as his older self, because this version does not cut it. i hate a fake sympathetic bitch

-lacy shouldnt have won. doesnt that ruin the continuity established by the past books? just kill her in the arena. that had to have been in the drafts right? everything that happened after the arena was really convoluted and stupid and failing. lucy dies, wow so sad, i hate when girls die, but i sure did learn about show biz. that was my president snow impression, if you couldnt tell. that was from a better version of this movie.

-it wouldve been cool if instead of lucy being essentially a tiktoker, she had the personality of an early hollywood icon. kind of a judy garland figure. wouldve fit into the setting better and been more original as a concept.

Yeah I agree with the last anon. I definitely don’t think all stories should be catered to us but it is kind of laughable to see the amount of unfiltered misogynistic discourse directed towards her and people consuming these stories always rooting for her to die so that him and the wattpad-esque OC can end up together. It’s definitely a trend and as the anon said, very much eye-roll worthy and unoriginal. It’s fine if people want to practice their writing skills ofc but a huge part of being a writer is being able to accept criticism and feedback related to the sort of the themes and tropes we use in stories. I think this is oftentimes conflated with “hate” and that’s just not the case. The “evil witch” trope has been around since fairytales existed and I get why people find it lazy because it inherently is.

I do not condone this point of view. Every fanfic writer is allowed to create and narrate their own rendition of these stories however they wish. I believe shaming or even 'taunting' these authors is the worst course of action here. In fact, constantly questioning these genres/tropes can sometimes bring them into the spotlight - Lucemond and Jonsa are two great examples! I personally read stories filtered under both of these tags and have met with a great deal of pushback from other shippers for liking or even promoting these stories on my page. Fanfic writers put in a great deal of time and energy into writing these stories for free, without seeking any financial gain from their readership. Therefore, there is no significant loss for a reader who may dislike a story. While art is certainly open to criticism and interpretation, it's different from critiquing a more financially incentivized book or film aimed at a wider audience.

Secondly, I understand why you feel so exasperated - it is disheartening to witness the frequent rejection of Alys' character. I'm more sympathetic to those who view her as a victim in this dynamic - something of a 'war trophy' for Aemond. What really irritates me is how some downplay Aemond's power in the relationship, making him out to be a victim. If Ewan's portrayal hadn't gotten so much traction, I don't think many people would have even noticed Alys' role in his storyline - or perhaps they'd be applauding her for 'bewitching' him and ultimately sending him to his death.

That being said, I don't think fanfictions are the main issue here. Do people make Alys into an evil temptress and diminish her role as the other woman? Yes! However, we have yet to see her appear onscreen and we're still unaware of what direction the show will go in. With recent rumors that Nettles and Daeron may not make an appearance (which I'm desperately hoping isn't true), many Alysmond shippers are now concerned that Alys will be given the original arc between Nettles/Daemon before Aemond enters the picture. If this is the case, how fucking disappointing! As an Alysmond shipper, these fanfictions are the least of my worries. Other fanfic writers will keep crafting content for these two in the future - I'm positive of that.

I still believe (hope?) that Alys' character will gain popularity when she's introduced in the show but until then, it's best to maintain a healthy dose of caution when discussing them.
