Lacey’s mom is way too laid-back for me because first of all why aren’t you getting your abductee daughter immediate help? Why do months need to go by and did child protective services need to remind her to get her kid help like sis what??? Second of all why is she leaving all the work to Gabi a literal child herself? I get that Lacey’s attached to her, but the mom is just leaving too much in Gabi’s hands and it doesn’t sit right with me! Also the fact that she doesn’t go & close Lacey‘s door at night only has that flimsy ass see through curtain set up in her kids room blows my mind like at this point she wants her to get kidnapped again lol. I also don’t get how she’s just so calm in the present. Like she’s waaaay to calm. Idk I kinda wish they cast older and better actress because that lady is beautiful, but she’s not giving. 

I agree completely about her mom!! It's so ridiculous how she kept calling Gabi anytime Bella would have a problem bc like you said she was a kid too!! And for the present I feel like she's calm maybe bc her mom has been gaslighting into not believing her fears all these years?? I think they just started to touch on that a little bit last episode and maybe after her concussion she'll be able to give a little more lol I'll always blame the writers and directors before the actors

just realized that i never posted my thoughts about the latest episode of found! lacey's mom was really pissing my off bc i know it was 2003 or whatever, but you're telling me they couldn't get ANY KIND OF CAMERA SECURITY SYSTEM??? this man was literally in you home!! terrorizing your daughter!! and you're just not believing her and telling her it's not real? no. as a parent you have to believe her first. i'm glad she had gabi all this time, bc who knows how she would've turned out otherwise.

This season is better than the first, but I feel kind of feel like they’re holding back a little bit like for some reason Lacey’s abduction felt super mild? I knew Sir wouldn’t kill her and she’ll either have to forgive Gabi or leave and idt the actress is trying to quit lol. Plus MPG is a colead so it’s like where can they really take things knowing the main cast won’t leave/be fatally hurt?

Sorry I'm so late to answering this! I expected Lacey's abduction plot to last longer too, but I think this season they're trying to focus a bit more on Gabi and Lacey's sisterhood (considering NBC posted a video specifically about the two of them with flashback scenes we haven't seen yet). So bringing her back so soon will give us a deeper look into their relationship right after the original kidnapping and where they'll go moving forward.

As far as where else they can take things without affecting the main cast I think they're gonna have to dive deeper into the psychological motives of Sir (like his twisted views on love we saw in episode 3) and Gabi (bc was she really just going to let him take her again and if so, what was her thought process??). I also think that maybe eventually one of the other team member's past abductions will haunt a case they end up working on. Most obvious would be Maragaret's son's kidnapping.
