“Firepoint Energy Inc, a Wyoming C-Corp startup with principal offices opening in Pennsylvania and Texas, announces the discovery of more than $130 billion in rare earth minerals in waste coal samples collected from nine locations in Pennsylvania.
The test results confirmed by Conti Labs in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania prove that the waste coal samples contained dozens of critical rare earth elements (REEs), including neodymium, dysprosium, europium, lithium praseodymium, and terbium. All of these minerals have been declared to be critical to the U.S. economy and national security per the Energy Act of 2020…”

July 3, 1998
On this day twenty six years ago Ozzfest ‘98 kicked off its North America leg of its tour with the first of two shows in Holmdel, NJ. The lineup included Megadeth, Tool, Limp Bizkit and of course Ozzy on the main stage. Motörhead, System Of A Down, the Melvins and others played the second stage. The North America tour covered only eighteen shows.
Did you go to any of these shows?

I’m alone on Christmas and also a struggling actor and sad
reflections on what it must have been like to be, uh…a lump of coal…at the North Pole…named Joel
HOMICIDAL SANTA 3: REPENTANT SANTA⁉️
oh shit we need a closer for our compilation album of Christmas songs, uh…here take this and be done with it

When i was younger i had a brief hyperfixation on radiation and nuclear war movies made during the 80's cold war times but it was brief because after like a week of it i got so viscerally depressed that i had to make myself stop engaging with it and i also have a deep fear of radiation poisoning tho i wouldnt pinpoint the start of it to THAT moment i'd always been scared of it but yeah. But anyways my response to it now at the moment is to learn about nuclear power and learn all the ways it is done safely and the benefits it can provide :-) this doesnt stop the fear of radiation posioning and worse case scenarios obviously but i still like to learn about stuff because if you don't know about it its easy to jump to the worst conclusions to fear about it. Radiation in general is very feared by the populace so i wanna know about it so i dont be afraid of common misconceptions i might take as fact. Also energy is very cool to me i have considered working in the field before whether its wind or solar or electrical pylons hehe

#made myself grumpy in the shower again#did you know. last year a little over 60% of america's electricity came from fossil fuels? that's straight from government data#admittedly that's down a little bit from 2019 but like#solar and wind combined made up less than nuclear by a long shot despite the pushes for more renewables and less nuclear#when we're all forced to buy electric cars because nobody knows how to think big picture where will that power come from?#because it's still mostly coal. 'uwu natural gas' that's still fossil fuels you halfwits#nuclear power plants are (more than) 100 times more waste-efficient than coal plants and 60 times more space efficient than wind#AND it doesn't require ruining virgin land for it since most nuclear plants are built on existing industrial developments#AND AND modern reactors have incredibly low operating costs#'buuh buut what about meltdown explosion danger please help everything i know about nuclear plants comes from pop culture???'#oh right like chernobyl. because 1970s soviet technology is totally 1-to-1 with modern installations#oh right like fukushima. that melted down because of a fucken massive earthquake and tsunami 1-2 punch that killed thousands#oh right like 3 mile island where nobody died#would you avoid getting on a ship because the titanic sank? would you never sit in the backseat of a car because of the ford pinto's rep?#im so sick and tired of fringe cases being held up as counterarguments by people who pretend to know better

As predicted, our Gossman found the brick that was printed the night before and immediately tossed it into the hatch pen before going to shear the dreckos.
