Warrior of Stars

During the Trojan war, Polites Polaris fights with weapons made out of solid light. He can shape them to his will and summon them on command.

To create his weapons, Polites draws light from Polaris itself. Due to being on Earth, he only has access to a limited amount of light before he has to let it regenerate. During the time where

Polites only joins the battles if he has to, preferring to stay out of the war as much as possible. Odysseus allows him to say out of the fights as much as he can, even if the other Kings are not happy with his decision. Agamemnon especially argues more than one that they should have Polites join almost every single battle, using him as some sort of weapon against the Trojans.

After Achilles dies, Agamemnon doubles down on this again, trying to appeal to Odysseus that now that Achilles is dead, they need someone to take his place, and Polites with his glowing weapons and his above average fighting skills would be perfect. He was already feared by the Trojans before, just not as much as Achilles because he rarely joined fights.

Canon must always end in tragedy. But what if it doesn’t have to?

Something about the lyric “He don’t love himself, tryna love me” from the song “Self Love” made me think of Obi-Wan.

There isn’t really a story for this, cuz I’m not sure how a multi-verse AU would work in Star Wars. But it is an interesting concept that I have a few thoughts about.

Maybe that was why she clung to it so very fiercely. Beyond reason, beyond logic, beyond even right and wrong, Sabine clung.

She would not let go.

So, gulping once around the lump in her throat, she stepped towards Baylan Skoll, still holding the artifact tightly.
