SO while looking into it, my first lead was, as you mentionned, superfecundation, but that only results in fraternal twins

When i brought it up to a friend of mine she mentionned absorption of one of the twin could work, even if Tess may have problems growing up with her body rejecting the parts that'd have had her twin's DNA

The question we had was that this apparently happens for full twins, and we weren't sure if a fraternal twin could be absorbed the same way of if that would get in the way

The human body and biology is sooo fucking interesting, and theorically so much stuff can happen I love it here

I DO ACTUALLY :)

A few of them are nsfw so I ll keep them to myself but let's say they're active

Physical contact. LOTS of contact. Whenever they have a moment they're cuddling or leaning on each other.

Not necessarily big fans of pda however, they'll hold hands and give a quick kiss sometimes but they're usualy busy around the hidehout if there are other people around anyway

Scar likes to bite. It's not hard, or sexual it's just a way he shows affection, a little nibble here and there to say I love you since I don't think he's too spoken in day to day life and uses actions more

Crane, as a big brother himself, is good with kids and thats one of the main reasons Scar felt comfortable bringing his kid back to him (which I hc is a very young oprhaned relative of his, rather than his blood daughter. Not that it matters)

Also I named the kid Ortie (Nettle) :)

Speaking of Ortie, she became their world, and they're on the verge of spoiling her rotten already.

Crane likes telling stories of before the timeskip, about Ekko, Vi and the others. He always ends up sad at the end but there's so many things and places that remind him of everyone that he can't help it. Scar always listens and sometimes asks a few things about these memories. It's about people he doesn't know and never will know, but they're important to Crane so he likes learning.

He himself doesn't share his past. He drops lore sometimes and Crane just has to catch it because he won't repeat or elaborate.

At the begining they tiptoed around each other a lot and didn't face their feelings. Scar thought Crane didn't like him because he'd often find him staring. Crane just found him handsome and was openly pinning. Ekko had to nudge them a little to speak to each other

Scar go his crush after seeing Crane beat up some punks for breaking his shop window (he took Benzo's shop back). They spar together often now

Crane doesn't like speaking about Silco. He doesn't like the enforcers at all but he was old enough to remember Silco clearly before the bridge, and he also saved his life during the 7y timeskip (more on that if you're interested). So in general they evade the subject even if Scar pushes a bit sometimes.

They don't really have fights? No shouting or tension, they'd rather sit and have long talks when something bothers one of them. It's one of the few times Scar will speak a lot and in depth about what he feels, and Crane had to pry that out of him at the begining. They're both emotionally stunted somewhat so these talks help a lot, otherwise they'd just bottle everything up forever

The touch up on Scar's clothes are from Crane since he likes mending things, it's a habit. The mismatched colors were on purpose, no real reason tho

They match earings! Crane had gifted him a few pieces of handmade bone jewlery actually, but Scar doesn't like wearing them, doesn't want to risk breaking them, so he has a little box were he stores them

Crane used to shave his face all the time because he didn't like it, but since Scar mentioned he liked the feel of it, he's been keeping a short stubble on his chin

They take turn scolding the other, it's like when one isn't pulling all nighters for days, the other is hiding a wound and not getting it treated. It's always out of genuine worry, and they'll gang up on anyone butting in on their bad habbits.

Crane has been having nightmares after the Incident (again more on that if you're interested) where always wake up terrified. Scar is always a big comfort these nights, it helps that he can just engulf him in a hug and ground him

Scar ALSO has nightmares sometimes, especially now that Ortie is here, but he's quiet about it and just checks on both her and Crane before going back to bed.

Crane uses pet names, like 'dear' and 'my love'. Even after being together for a while now Scar still gets a bit flustered at it
