Talking about the MC Movie!

I thought the Villager designs looked quite charming! Seriously I was so excited to see the wandering trader~!

The whole woodland mansion thing was ehehheahaha I’m a big ol’ fan of the pillagers and that entire group of guys like— y’all don’t even know just how charming I find this movie.

The piglins are among some of my favorite looking mobs in all of minecraft and I think their models in the movie fit super well— they’re ugly and gross and that’s how it really should be.

I think I’m in the minority..

I usually am *looks at TF Energon* but I really don’t have any negative things to say. I felt like a little little kid again. I really would like a sequel :D

Villager and Illager Thoughts - headcanon

Thinking about the way society works with my silly little MC world...

Villagers probably have large sections of the world where they populate it, some villages are bigger than others and are very valuable trading places, but all villages are far enough away from each other that you'd have to use a horse or minecart to reach them, and even then, it might take a day or two.

I imagine theres wandering traders that group together in caravans, but nothing too big. maybe if you pay them a few emeralds they'll drop you off by a town in a few days. They're nomadic people, hardly ever staying for than a week, if that. They're always happy to see people, any new traveler is a customer and friend. Super friendly. Some can be sleazy, but they'll never give you items you can live without. Important fellows to those that live far away from any exotic places. They most likely know all or many languages, both spoken and written. It's better for business. I think to think they even raid temples at times!!! Maybe going though Jungle or Desert Temples just to leave things behind or take items,,

I think Illagers make plans of the best areas to build their strong beautiful mansions, and look for stable ground to build their outposts. I would think they have a way of communicating with those in the Mansion, maybe the ones that live there are more important or higher ranking. It seems like Evokers have a high status among other Illagers. Pillagers being the bottom of course. I also want to include more Illagers like those that were included in MCDungeons. They seem like so much fun, and different forms of magic usage seems logical. I mean Iceologers, Geomancers, and Wind Callers are all super interesting and really important to magic lore in the MC universe as a whole.

I do not consider Witches, Illagers (and neither does minecraft iirc) They all kinda just vibe and feel like they have their own lives. Not exactly violent, but curious and mischievous in ways that Villager culture clashes with. They all live on their own, but some make deals with Illagers or Villages. Their magic and potions in exchange for protection or resources. I imagine every village that contains a Cleric, knows of at least one Witch they can learn from, even if its gotta be in secret. I agree almost wholeheartedly with RetroGamingNow's interpretation of the Witch, I think its clear and makes a lot of sense, it's what i assumed for a very long time anyways. I feel like Witches are a fairly new source of magic in the world, compared to Illager and Villagers. This leads to them being seen as lesser than and never fitting in with either group. They rally in the ways of excitement, curiosity and overall, being true to one's self and never feeling sorry for being different. Witches are one of the most diverse groups, many of which are highly skilled and dangerous, but wouldn't hurt a fly without reason. Super happy group, some are hybrids or weren't even born Witches. My idea is there are Witches that are born as just that, and are brought up in the culture. The others are folks who practice witchcraft and chose to align themselves with the philosophy. (they refer to themselves as Witches if they'd like, its not required)

I touched on it a fair bit earlier, but, I had the idea that Villagers were also a being capable of magic. I like to think that the Iron Golems they spawn are from magic. villagers can create and build things when absolutely necessary or for their work, but they do not partake in magic since it is a lost art in their culture. However, the summoning of an Iron Golem unlocks a very deep connection with their world, allowing them to create life from (seemingly) nothing. (it actually does consume materials, it just takes those materials directly from the world from random places) A village will usually construct one themselves the physical way, but if under enough stress and fear, one can be summoned. Depending on the threat, it can be a permanent form, or just disappear after the Villager is safe. Illagers cannot do this, their connection with the Golem was cut as soon as they decided their fates. Iron Golems will only ever protect Villagers as Illagers are capable of protecting themselves. Although a Ravager is close to a Golem, I don't know how to fully implement them, as they must be fairly new to their technology.

Those are all my thoughts right now, things are subject to change. But yeah :0)

.thinking about our mc character and how absoultely hilarious it is. it's just a shape. a blob. it wears glasses, the glasses aren't properly aligned with it's eyes. it has a giant wizard hat. it is not a wizard (yet). it doesnt wear other clothes, it COULD it just doesnt. it owns a wandering trader coat. sometimes it actually wears it but chances that you'll see that are really low. it is basically laying on it's stomach and kicking it's feet and giggling whenever it finds the deep dark. will go get lost in the nether unpromped. the bases it makes most of the time just do not make sense to others. it WILL dig a giant hole and break more han 70 iron pickaxes while doing so. it may appear on your counter and take you to a riddle maze. people call it hivemind because they think it's a hivemind. it's actually plural. it's name is literally You Matter but severly mispelled. it fucking adores soul sand. there's so many more little facts about it and we love how it just embodies our weirdness

Ok so, first time ever I legitimately got a elytra. Well, while I'm on peaceful mode, so like, I didn't really fight anything (that would fight back). But still, I got it and that's what matters

The scale of distance changes soooo much when you have elytras though. Also I just realized how insanely packed my world is. The three closely packed village, the stronghold beneath one of them, the nether fortress literally behind a pillar to my portal... Like each of these things can be reached within one mc day by walking. Now that I can fly most only required one single rocket to reach. Absolutely insane.

On that topic, I guess it's good that things are close by. Since I'm on peaceful mode unless (absolutely necessary, like for blazes), I have very only one way to get gunpowder for rockets, and dealing with wandering trader is already annoying as is.

Another funny thing is that I brought the dragon egg back to base, then immediately lost it... It teleported because I accidentally clicked on it, and I have no clue where it went. I'm pretty sure it's not in or on my base anymore, even checked beneath the floor... I don't know, if I can't find it tomorrow I'm not above cheating in one just in case it's really gone, the Advancements are already gone because of mods anyway.

Also trail ruins my beloathed, wasted so much time on it. Although I guess the two trims and four sherds are sort of worth it? The ship wreaks tho, I always have terrible luck for some reason. I just really want a water themed trim for my helmet is that too much to ask? Maybe I should go for elder guardian if I can't get the shore one...

Also also, I finally have enough of waiting for the wandering trader to sell me so moss, so I fly out to find some lush caves. And I did, after almost an hour. They're so pretty though, easily my favorite caves. Anyways I got two axolotls and also two tadpoles from the swamp, moss and bamboo too, so I'm pretty much done with plant materials except for pale oak sapling and creaking heart... I think? Idk there's soooo much stuff now I have no idea what is available anymore.

ancient city people most likely didnt worship the warden specifically since its a creature of the sculk and the sculk is a creature of death, they might have treated it as something with divinity but in the same way hades or lemos might have been treated in greece

using my theory that the warden Used to be something that the ancient city people wanted to have around, Yes, maybe it was worshipped. the "portal" is shaped like the head of one of the earlier warden concepts and there are several similar statues in the ancient cities with the big mouth and ears

we dont know if they were above ground at one point or if they were always underground so we can only assume that their culture included emphasis on cleanliness (theres a baths structure) before the sculk took over

illagers and villagers both probably worship the sun in some capacity due to monster spawning. someone recently made a post about how monsters only spawn when the player is around but based on the existence of the iron golem and zombie villages which have already been ravaged before the player even joins the world im choosing to suspend my disbelief.

villagers may have culture surrounding travel based on the wandering trader

illagers i dont know too much about but i think the mansion would tell a lot. there are wool animal statues in the mansion which makes me wonder if they worship animals. they obviously revere vex due to evokers being able to summon them and they must regard allays as corruptions of the vex or rare pure versions that need to be caged

illagers also know about the sculk and have been underground as can be seen in certain ancient city structures

as for piglins i really dont know a lot there, im too big a wuss to go to bastions. they might see warped mushrooms and forests as sacred due to them warding away hoglins, the loot tables for the bastions and piglin bartering might also be a clue (like hey how do piglins enchant things without enchanting tables)

i could go on and on about mc culture and my entire theory for the ancient people but alas not now

What do you think the religious figures would be for the different societies? Like what would the villagers pray to, do the piglins have a religious figure or do they just worship gold? Do illagers have religions? Did the people from the ancient cities worship the warden or something else? Or were they more focused on sciences?

Hiya!!!! I made my own kinda inktober wtf kinda thing but with minecraft! I made my own randomly generated list of mobs and everyday ive been drawing them! (Actually not all of them are random, some i choose cuz I wanted them like steve/alex, n some others u'll see much later!) I also did Minecraft Dungeons cuz that game has some pretty cool mobs in itself! Every 10 days ill post all the days ive done! : DDD

Princess + Oliver

I´m going to link my little brainstorming/rant with @since-times-long-forgotten about how Oliver and Cloudtail are actually some flavor of colorpoint, not White Dominant. I´m going to actually design all of them too, because three of them will be supporting characters and the other two will be notable background characters.

Oliver is a wandering trader of art and tales. Princess was young when she met him, made several stupid teenager decisions and wound up pregnant. He stepped up hard and stayed with her, and after Cloud was given up and Taylor was stolen, they move into Brick´s Colony. He still travels, now with his daughter on his heels, but they return to their family in the winter. He and Princess aren´t hearts-and-flowers in love, but they´re good friends, and if Princess ever does wound up desiring another litter, he already agreed to sire and raise it with her.

So he´s a longhair black ticked mackerel lynx siamese ... except his high white covers up his colored areas! Unless you gene test him, he looks like a plain white cat with blue eyes.

He is the definition of a house-husband. His wife is the best thing to ever happen to him, he swears. He´s very nurturing and spends a lot of time helping kits and trainees.

Originally Taylor, he´s a stolen kit Sharpfang just carried into ThunderClan. He will have issues, you guys. Nursed by Frostfur, left behind by all his foster siblings except Thornclaw, confronted with a love in a different Clan, finding out that the colony cat he almost kills is his sister ... and his apprentice is a stolen kit like himself. He is having a very quiet freakout in the background of the second half of Zack´s Apprentices.

Honestly the most normal looking of the bunch, and prides herself in being "the sane one". She does have to deal with the fact that her own brother, who was stolen as a kitten, almost killed her. She´s one of those cats that only kinda live in your house for the warmth and the food in the winter.

And last but not least, the runt of the litter and the one with the biggest personality by a margin. He ends up as a second mentor for a lot of forest apprentices, friends with a police dog, responsible for a scar slashing across his own brother´s face, raised Livy´s kits and helps Darkstripe finally walk free of his abuser.

Also, he looks a lot like Mist by pure coincidence, except for the colorpoint covering parts of it. I´m going to get into Tigerstar´s mental state in another post.

So safe to say, these kits are going through shit. I honestly gave them more personality than I planned, lol.
