I'm all for voting independent *when its fucking safe* Its not safe. Project 2025 WILL become reality if Trump wins, and if you facilitate that by gambling with our rights then you can get out. I don't want to die because you're unrealistically optimistic.

Hey sorry to get political again, but I think this is extremely important.

So I'm sure most of y'all have heard something about Project 2025, but if not, here's the gist. It's a giant document written by members of the Trump administration, meant to be an instructional guide for if he becomes president again.

This guide is long, and intentionally written to be as boring as possible so voters won't read it and see the heinous shit they want to do.

However, a LOT of comic artists have come together to make comics about the contents of Project 2025, to make it easier for everyone to understand.

Project 2025 is dangerous to all of the USA. It will kill and imprison millions of citizens, and the ones who live will have exponentially worsened lives. To name just a few things, they want to use AI to determine the necessity of healthcare treatment for Medicare and Medicaid members, make education a privilege to pay for instead of a right, expand the definition of "pornography" to include anything that views queer people positively and label educators and librarians as sex offenders for possessing books with such topics. The list goes on, you can read these and multiple other topics in the link above.

So what can we do? Well, there's 3 things.

1. Reblog! Repost! Spread this thing like wildfire! Everyone needs to be aware of what they're trying to do.

2. Tell family! Or friends, or neighbors, or anyone really. Share the comics with them, on topics you know they care about.

3. GO OUT AND VOTE! This is the most important one. Go out and use your vote to prevent this from ever getting enacted. Your vote matters, it is a right given to you and if you don't vote, you might not ever get to again after this is enacted.

This election is our only chance to stop Project 2025 from happening. Do your part.

JUST A REMINDER!

just in case of those who are stressed and panicking about the senate vote for KOSA. Yes I know it’s scary and stressful but

1. Do not give up hope!! Spread the word about KOSA to friends, family (or trusted adults) and call/email/sign and if you are unable to due to personal reasons, spreading it to other people is okay and I appreciate your help.

2. if it DOES pass senate tomorrow it is not the end. If it passes senate it does not go into effect right after, it still needs the House vote and from what I’ve heard it has more opposition in the House than Senate. So focus on House more

3. With election year it might slow down some process of KOSA and give us more time to tell our reps and senators what we want which is NO to kosa.

4. Call Chuck at (202) 224-6542 but to it respectfully. Even if he wants to push KOSA tomorrow let him know what you want. Tell him how it is so harmful to LGBTQ+ members (especially minors in situations that are unsafe for them) the first amendment right and the government ID which could lead to harmful and dangerous consequences.

It has been a full year we are living amidst devastation that the mind cannot comprehend and the heart cannot bear. Ya'll in light of what happened at the Trump rally today (why he's allowed to travel across state lines when he still needs to be sentenced for the 34 felonies he was found guilty for in New York is beyond me but I digress), I beg you to please read what Project 2025 has in store for us if Trump steps back into the White House

Here's just a few bits:

-They want to eliminate overtime (so if you work over 40 hours, no more time and a half. They wouldn't have to pay you for that time. Hell, we'd likely be lucky if they didn't institute a six day work week again, with just Sundays off for church)

-Remove the FDIC (the organization that protects your money. If you have it in a bank account and that bank fails? The FDIC requires they pay back up to 10k. If you have over that, you're out that rest but let's be honest, how many of us on this site have over 10k to our names?)

-Deregulate the banks (show of hands, who remembers the shitshow that was 2008 with the subprime mortgages?)

Please, I am begging you to vote. Vote like your future depends on it because it does.

And if you live in VA and you're a Dem on this site, Ken Cuccinelli is one of the brains behind Project 2025. You may know him by his other works such as being the VA Attorney General who implemented the transvaginal ultrasound before you could get an abortion. KOSA

hi everyone!! still on my break but just a reminder to keep calling your reps and senators to vote NO on Kosa. The tag has been slightly quiet which is something that we can’t have!! I know a lot of people are scared including me but keep calling , faxing , emailing your reps and senators. The House has more opposition of Kosa with some reps and senators already voicing their concerns for LGBTQ+ youth safety which is good and we should keep that going!! I heard about Kosa a year ago and the reason why it’s barley now getting to be voted on the Senate is because we voiced our opposition and concern. Keep doing it!! - audri⭐️
