Viv when she cant sexualize men and villainize women: 👹👺👺👺👹👹

Okay so this redesign was spurred by my friend who really doesn't like Adam, so I decided to do my spin on him!

First: in the Bible, it is CANON he is made from red soil/clay. Which is dark. He is not white. He is poc. Okay? Cool

Okay so other then that, mostly I just wanted to make him seem much more ethereal. I based his design on clothes the pope wears, like the fuckn. Sash things and stuff. His wings take the place of a sash and while he can use them, rarely does (a reference to his connection to the earth)

I used mostly primary colors for him, kinda nodding to the fact he's like the 'origin' person. Mostly gold tho bc why not (also contrasts the blue of heaven, and its in reference to his greedy need to put his family before god)

But also his robe has red edges like they're stained w/ blood too, and his stomach sash has a similar stain. He has very little blue to show that his true loyalties don't lie with heaven, but with his wife.

And okay, I hate how ppl will use the 'they're in hell! Ofc they curse!" Excuse but also like. Hate that some characters are sexist or whatevs. Like bro. It'd make sense characters are gonna be sexist/ableist/etc etc. Why beef w/ Adam over it. So I kept Adam being sexist, but it's moreso bc he loves his wife so much he refuses to treat any other women well, bc he's so loyal. Type to drop a door on a lady bc it's not his gf yk.

I hc that Eve is buried in pride, and has a tree growing from her body (she's not dead but more in like kinda a limbo), and that's where Heaven stays in Hell. And so Adam goes down there during exterminations to see her tree and talk to her before he has to leave again.

Adam was originally a good person, but bc of his eating of the apple (which stained his teeth), he now can't NOT indulge sin, and most often, he indulges in greed (like only doing things if he thinks he could get eve back), and wrath (the more violent side of the masculine he represents).

Also bc of this, one of his punishments from God is being blinded, unable to see God's holy light or the face of his wife ever again. He also had his wedding band finger cut off as punishment too. The rest of his fingers have golden caps, bc he is dangerous to touch bc yk. How sinful he is from eating the fruit

And the fig leaves are just cus yk. He's associated w/ em. The leaves on his head actually form a shape of ram horns since rams represent devotion to God and Adam fell bc he wasn't devoted enough

Also I will keep that Eve was made from Adam BUT comma, she took not just his rib but his liver, 10 of his fingers (he originally had 20), and his skin. Just cus yeah why not

Messy/rough hashbrown motel redesigns for funsies. Not too happy with their outfits but these are initial sketches

Okay for Charlie I gave her big curly hair bc I feel like Lucifer has curly hair in most paintings & statues that I’ve seen of him. Gave her lots of round shapes. Wanted her to stand out in. I gave her sideways pupils, ears, horns, hooves, and a tail to be more goat like. Also changed her nose to be more goat like. Also I added those lines at the edges of her mouth to make her look more like a puppet.

For Aggie (she changed her name in this redesign with the A for Aggie supposed to be like an upside down V) There are quite a few upside down Vs in her design to be a hint to her old name/past and to subtly be like an A for Aggie. Made the hair around her face look like moth antenna. Also gave her an x pupil. Her hair is in a ponytail and has eyes on it to make her hair look more like moth wings. Also I liked her fit from the finale so her outfit is a bit inspired by that lol. Her belt is two belts crossed to look like an X with an eye clasp in the middle. She also has a cropped long sleeve jacket with fur to be like moth fluff. Her wings would also be moth wings instead of angel wings. Also I gave her claws and fangs for fun.

stella redesign

i made her colours more close to the pilot ones. i think they look pretty well. many characters in vivziepop shows have TOO similar colour palettes, hazbin hotel cast for example, so i wanted stella to stang out a bit.

also the colours might tell a story. the imps - the main characters are red, while stella is one of the antagonists. red is the opposite of green, so having green in stella’s design actually makes sense

i also gave her accessories and fancy patterns since she would love to show off

Anywho here’s the long awaited Vaggie redesign! I made her outfit similar yo Charlie’s and added gold on her to elude to get angelic identity! She’s also more purple!! I’m so sorry but I can’t stand seeing her in red, it’s just not fitting, her final battle outfit was cool makes me wish she was in that all the time with her hair tied up.

I gave her tufts of fur to bring out her moth look and also because in one of her past designs she had these bright pink fluffy leg warmers so I thought that was cool, I also gave her gold cracks in her skin and made her X’s resemble crosses in her hair.

I wanted to make her look more demonic bit still keep her bright and soft enough to give of that lingering angelic look!

Ok ok i'm a liar oops. Saw the Millie short (I have thoughts) and the season 2 trailer and i had to do my poor sweet underdeveloped bird girls justice.

Octavia is virtually the same personality wise, except she has hobbies that Stolas is completely unaware of but Stella supports fully. Specifically taxidermy, which Stella finds fascinating. I don't vibe with the design after staring at it for a while, but this was just a doodle and potential colors, i'll have to draw Stolas and then figure out her colors.

In demon lore, Andrealphus teaches lots of things, but he is said to teach astronomy, so i decided Stella (as her name would suggest) is very knowledgable on the subject and star gazes. I gave her a galaxy esc dress similar to Stolas's s1 ep7 outfit and changed her colors a bit.

They have a good mother/daughter bond in this because if Viv can't write a good mother figure then I'll do it myself dammit.

Stella is basically now all the fan theories before she was boiled down into a shitty one dimensional abuser to make the uwu gay bird sympathetic with a bit of my input.

She is the younger sister of Andrealphus, who married her to Stolas as a way of moving up in the world - as Stolas is a Prince and Andrealphus is a rank below him as a Marquis. Stella initially was distraught but tried to be good. She tried to find common ground, seeing as both her and Stolas liked stars, but they never clicked fully. When Octavia was born, Stella shifted her attention to her and started being passive aggressive to Stolas, letting her years of anger out on him in little jabs. Things along the line of her throwing a not divorced party but she doesn't loudly insult him in front of her guests.

When Stolas cheats on her with an imp, she's fucking furious. She's given up her entire life to this man, to bring her family name higher and her husband cheats on her with an IMP. The lowest of the lower class, and now her gossipy high society friends she's spent years getting into the good graces of will know. So she's a mix of fucking furious and just a tinge hurt. She's not justified btw, i just want to show her side of things for once because Viv is allergic to developing female characters.

She adores Octavia in my version. Utterly adores her. So of course she takes Octavia and tries to keep her away from Stolas as much as possible. She loves her daughter and wants to raise her better than she was raised.

Okay so niffty actually has a LOT behind her design lmao like imma be fr

So first, colors. I know she's inspired off of the 'flying purple people eater' song, so I really wanted purple, but it just wasn't working for me at all. So, instead, I swapped it to blueish-green! Still alien but also very buggy and stands out against the red of hell.

The hole in her chest is both a metaphor for how she is 'heartless' (lmao get it) and also bc she legit died by getting shot when a neighbor decided she was a threat. Also some Junji Ito inspo for that too!!!!

Her single eye is now moreso representative of her tunnel vision, both from her life of obsessing over men and her OCD and how it makes her struggle to function.

Her outfit is based on a 1950s housewife but with a Obi (like the kimono belt) and with cuffs and suspenders that mimick an older timey maid outfit. The skirt is also meant to look vaguely like a flying saucer.

Tye mouth on the back of her head is a physical voice for her intrusive thoughts, constantly telling her horrible things and making her obsessive and paranoid. No one else seems to hear the voice though, making existing a bit of her own personal hell.

So, hear me out here. I know nifty was intended to be Japanese, so I came up w/ a lil smthn. I HC that nifty was raised in Japan, but was raised to idealize and aspire to 1950s American nuclear family moment, so she moved to America, americanized her name, etc etc. So, in hell, she wears outfits reminiscent of her culture, and I bet the mouth on the back of her head only speaks to her in japanese/broken English.

Bringing you all up to speed on something recent. A fan artist’s has had to recently deal with bootleggers ripping off their plushie design.

However today it was found that Medrano and a podcaster apparently was promoting said bootleg on their recent instagram announcement.

This is disrespectful, regardless of intent, what’s worse is that the original plushie maker is in the hospital and possibly could be struggling with bills! Artists need all the support they can especially with thieves and bootleggers on the rise.

In the meanwhile, please support PrinceofRage and help them signal boost about the bootleg plushie.

loona redesign

i’m actually feeling nice about the I.M.P. designs, i personally don’t see anything wrong with them. however i wanted loona to look more unique, since the design elements in helluva boss/hazbin hotel are often reused. so yeh now she’s goth.

please correct me if i didn’t portray the style right, i’m not goth myself.

Working on a redesign of Velvette! I like how she acts in the show but I can’t stand her ashy grey skin, so I’m trying to do her some justice! I will also be cooking up some redesigns of the seraphim sisters.

I wanted to make her feel like she takes after both Valentino and vox.

I gave her white smudged make up on the form of a mask because it not only looks cool but I was trying to make her feel like a clown or doll? That’s what her past look resembled I’m not quite sure what she’s based off of or what kind of demon she is, I’d like to think she was a past model/ fashion designer who was very cut throat, bossy and very competitive, she seems very sure of herself, ambitious and opportunistic.

Maybe that lead her to some how falling of her high horse in fashion by a rival? Which resulted in her being called a hack or clown in which she retaliates by snapping on them killing her rival, career and self all in the same day.
