Afternoon sun streamed through the windows of your living room, casting a warm glow over the sleek, modern décor that you and Rafe had carefully chosen together. The space was quiet, save for the soft hum of the air conditioning and the occasional distant chirp of birds outside. You were alone-well, almost alone-getting ready to film a special “Secret Beauty” video for Vogue.
You’d been thrilled when the invitation came through. As an actor, you were used to being in front of the camera, but this was different. This was personal, an opportunity to share a side of yourself that fans rarely got to see. And doing it in the comfort of the home you shared with Rafe made it even more special.
The crew had sent over the necessary equipment the day before, but you’d opted to set everything up yourself. It felt more intimate that way, just you and the camera. You’d arranged a small vanity area in the corner of the living room, where the light was best. Your collection of beauty products, everything from skincare to makeup was neatly laid out in front of you.
You did a quick check to make sure the camera was positioned correctly, framing the scene just as you wanted. Satisfied, you hit record, flashing a bright smile at the lens.
“Hi, everyone! I’m Y/n Cameron, and welcome to my Vogue Secret Beauty video. Today, I’m going to be sharing my everyday beauty routine with you all. This is what I do to keep my skin looking fresh and my makeup natural, especially when I’m off set or just hanging out at home.”
You reached for the first product on your vanity, a gentle cleanser. “So, I always start with a good cleanse. It’s really important to make sure your skin is clean before you do anything else. I’ve been using this cleanser for a while now, it’s super gentle and doesn’t dry out my skin.”
As you explained, you began applying the cleanser, massaging it into your skin with gentle, circular motions. “I usually spend about a minute doing this, making sure I get every part of my face.”
Once you were satisfied, you reached for a soft towel, patting your face dry. “Next up is toner. This one’s great because it helps balance my skin’s pH and preps it for the rest of my routine. I just put a few drops on a cotton pad and gently sweep it across my face.”
You demonstrated, moving the cotton pad across your skin with care. “It’s really refreshing and makes my skin feel super smooth.”
You paused, letting the toner absorb, and then reached for your favorite serum. “Okay, so this is one of my must-haves. It’s a vitamin C serum that brightens my skin and helps with any dark spots. I just take a few drops and press it into my skin, focusing on areas that need a little extra love.”
As you applied the serum, you glanced at the camera, flashing a playful smile. “Rafe actually loves this stuff too, even though he won’t admit it.”
You laughed softly at the thought, your mind wandering to your husband. He was out at the moment, running some errands, but you knew he’d be back soon. Knowing Rafe, there was a good chance he’d come back while you were still filming, which could make for an interesting and probably hilarious outtake.
“Alright, now that the serum is on, I’m going to follow up with my moisturizer,” you continued, reaching for the jar. “This is super important, especially after applying a serum. It locks in all that goodness and keeps your skin hydrated.”
You scooped out a small amount of the moisturizer and began applying it in gentle upward strokes. “I like to use something lightweight during the day, so it doesn’t feel too heavy under makeup.”
You were just finishing up with the moisturizer when you heard the faint sound of the front door opening and closing. Your heart skipped a beat as you realized Rafe must be back. You kept filming, wondering if he’d notice you were in the middle of something.
Just as you were about to reach for your eye cream, you heard his voice from the hallway. “Babe? I’m back! You won’t believe the traffic out there—”
He appeared in the doorway, stopping short when he saw the camera. His eyes widened slightly in surprise, and then a slow grin spread across his face.
“Am I interrupting something?” Rafe asked, clearly amused.
You couldn’t help but laugh, turning to face him. “Just a little. I’m filming my Vogue beauty routine.”
Rafe’s grin widened as he walked over, leaning against the doorframe. “Oh, so this is the famous ‘Secret Beauty’ routine? I’ve been dying to know what goes into it.”
“Really?” you teased, raising an eyebrow. “You already know most of it. You’ve borrowed half these products at some point.”
He chuckled, moving closer to inspect the array of products on the vanity. “I might have. You’ve got good taste, what can I say?”
You shook your head, still smiling. “Well, since you’re here, do you want to help me with the rest of it? The viewers might enjoy a little guest appearance.”
Rafe looked at the camera, then back at you, feigning a thoughtful expression. “Hmm, I don’t know. Do I have to do anything?”
“Not really,” you said, reaching for your eye cream. “Just look pretty and maybe pass me a couple of things.”
He laughed at that, pulling up a chair next to you. “Alright, I think I can manage that.”
You grinned at the camera, happy to have Rafe by your side. “So, where were we? Oh, right-eye cream. This is essential, especially on days when I haven’t had enough sleep. Just a tiny bit under each eye to help with puffiness and dark circles.”
You dabbed the cream under your eyes as you explained. Rafe watched with interest, occasionally glancing at the camera as if to check if he was doing it right.
“And now,” you said, setting the eye cream down, “we’re moving on to the makeup. I like to keep it light and natural, especially when I’m just hanging out at home.”
Rafe reached for the foundation, holding it up like a game show host presenting a prize. “This is the one, right?”
You laughed, taking it from him. “Yep, that’s the one. It’s really lightweight and gives just enough coverage without feeling heavy.”
As you applied the foundation, Rafe watched, leaning in occasionally to make funny faces at the camera behind your back, which you noticed only through the camera’s reflection. You rolled your eyes, but couldn’t help laughing.
“Okay, now for some concealer,” you said, reaching for the small tube. “This just goes on any spots that need a little extra coverage.”
Rafe nodded sagely, as if he were learning some deep, important secret. “You know, I’ve got a spot right here,” he said, pointing to a non-existent blemish on his cheek.
You playfully pushed him away. “Very funny.”
“Hey, I’m just trying to learn,” he protested with a grin.
“Sure you are,” you said, blending in the concealer. “Alright, now for a bit of bronzer to warm up the face.”
Rafe picked up the bronzer and handed it to you with a flourish. “Your bronzer, madam.”
You accepted it with a mock curtsey. “Thank you, kind sir.”
As you dusted the bronzer along your cheekbones and forehead, Rafe looked on, clearly entertained. You could tell he was enjoying himself, which made you even more relaxed and playful.
“Next, some blush for a bit of color,” you said, swirling the brush in the blush compact. “Just a little on the apples of the cheeks.”
Rafe tilted his head, studying your technique. “Looks good. You missed a spot, though.”
You paused, mid-swipe, giving him a look. “Really?”
He leaned in, brushing his thumb lightly across your cheek. “Right… here.”
His touch was soft, and you felt your breath hitch slightly, caught off guard by the sudden tenderness. He pulled back with a satisfied smile, leaving you a little flustered, but in a good way.
“Thanks,” you managed, giving him a playful shove. “Now, let’s finish up with some mascara and a bit of lip balm.”
Rafe picked up the mascara, twirling it between his fingers before handing it to you. “Be careful with this one. It’s dangerous.”
You laughed, carefully applying the mascara to your lashes. “I’ll try not to poke my eye out.”
Once your makeup was finished, you reached for your lip balm, applying a quick swipe across your lips. “And that’s it! My secret beauty routine are simple, natural, and easy enough that even Rafe could do it.”
Rafe, who had been leaning back in his chair with a smug grin, feigned mock offense. “Hey, I might just take that as a challenge. Next time, I’ll show you how it’s really done.”
You raised an eyebrow, intrigued. “Oh, really? I’d love to see that.”
He smirked, leaning closer to the camera as if sharing a secret. “Maybe we should film a ‘Rafe Cameron Beauty Routine’ next. Show everyone how I maintain this rugged charm.”
You couldn’t help but laugh at the idea, shaking your head. “I’m sure your fans would love that. You know, maybe we should actually do it. Could be fun.”
Rafe’s eyes lit up at the thought, clearly entertained by the idea. “You’re on. But you have to be my assistant. I can’t possibly do it alone.”
You grinned, nudging him playfully. “Deal. But only if you promise not to turn it into a comedy routine.”
He chuckled, wrapping an arm around your shoulders and pulling you closer. “No promises, but I’ll try to keep it professional.”
The two of you shared a quiet moment, your laughter fading into comfortable silence as you sat together, Rafe’s arm warm around you. The camera was still recording, capturing the easy affection between you, something that came naturally, whether the cameras were on or not.
Finally, you turned back to the camera, giving the viewers a warm smile. “Well, I think that’s a wrap for today. Thanks so much for joining me on this little behind-the-scenes look at my beauty routine. I hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.”
Rafe chimed in, his tone playful. “And remember, if you want a real beauty routine, stay tuned for the Rafe Cameron edition.”
You laughed, playfully shoving him again before waving at the camera. “Thanks for watching, everyone! See you next time!”
With that, you reached over and hit the stop button, ending the recording. The red light on the camera blinked off, signaling the end of the shoot. You leaned back in your chair, feeling a sense of accomplishment and a bit of relief that it had all gone smoothly, well, almost.
Rafe stood up, stretching his arms over his head with a satisfied grin. “Not bad, Mrs. Cameron. You’re a natural in front of the camera.”
You smiled up at him, feeling a warm flush at the way he called you by your married name. “Well, I’ve had a bit of practice. But I think you might have stolen the show.”
He chuckled, reaching down to pull you up from your chair. “Hey, I’m just here to support my wife. And maybe sneak in a little screen time.”
You rolled your eyes affectionately, letting him pull you into a hug. “You know, you actually made it a lot more fun. I’m glad you interrupted.”
Rafe’s smile softened as he looked down at you, his hands resting comfortably on your waist. “Yeah? I’m glad too. It’s nice to be part of these little moments with you.”
You rested your head against his chest, feeling his steady heartbeat beneath your ear. “Me too. I wouldn’t want to do this with anyone else.”
For a few moments, the two of you just stood there, wrapped in each other’s arms, the world outside your home feeling miles away. It was in these quiet moments that you were reminded of just how lucky you were to have found someone who understood you so completely, who made every moment, whether big or small does feel special.
Rafe finally broke the silence, his voice soft and teasing. “So, how about we celebrate our first Vogue feature with some takeout and a movie? Maybe we can critique my on-camera skills.”
You laughed, pulling back to look up at him. “That sounds perfect. But I think you might just be a natural.”
He grinned, leaning down to press a gentle kiss to your forehead. “Only because I have the best partner.”
With that, the two of you started to clean up the vanity, chatting and joking as you put away the beauty products. The light in the room was starting to fade as the sun dipped lower in the sky, casting a golden glow over everything.
As you worked together, you couldn’t help but feel a deep sense of contentment. This was your life now, a life full of love, laughter, and the kind of everyday moments that made everything else worthwhile. And as long as you had Rafe by your side, you knew that every day would be an adventure, filled with more joy than you ever thought possible.

Y/N Williams’ No-Makeup look| Vogue Beauty Secrets

Tumblr media Tumblr media
The camera fades in to reveal a serene, sunlit room. The soft glow of candles flickers against the neutral-toned walls, which are adorned with tasteful beach-inspired decor—lush plants in woven baskets, a few minimalist artworks, and delicate seashell accents. A gentle breeze wafts through the open windows, carrying the scent of the ocean. The sounds of distant waves crash softly, adding to the calm ambiance.
Y/N is standing in her master bathroom with a sweater over her dress in order to make sure nothing comes in contact with it. . Her skin glows with a fresh-from-the-beach radiance, and her hair is naturally tousled as if the breeze had just kissed it. The room feels peaceful and bright, reflecting her coastal, laid-back lifestyle.
She smiles warmly at the camera, looking directly into it as if inviting you into her world.
“Hey, everyone! Welcome back to Vogue Beauty Secrets. It’s Y/N here, and tonight I am out at my Charleston home with a close friend. We’re keeping it low-key, cooking dinner, and enjoying each other’s company. So if you happen to hear him in the background, just ignore him. Nothing too special... but I thought I’d share my skincare and no makeup, makeup routine with you tonight. I usually like to go for something super natural and fresh.” She smiles, her tone warm and relaxed. “Let’s start with skincare because everything begins with good skin, right?”
Step 1: Cleaning
Y/N reaches for Renée Rouleau AHA/BHA Blemish Control Cleanser, a gentle yet effective cleanser that’s a staple in her routine. She dispenses a generous amount into her hands and lathers it up.
“So, first, I always start with cleansing. I’ve been using this Renée Rouleau AHA/BHA Blemish Control Cleanser for a while now, and it’s just perfect for me. It’s super creamy, and it doesn’t strip my skin, so it feels hydrated after I wash it off. It’s gentle enough for everyday use, and I love how soft it makes my skin feel.”
She massages the product into her skin in soft, circular motions, her fingers gliding over her face easily.
“The texture is so creamy and luxurious, and it helps to remove dirt, sunscreen, and any makeup leftover from the day. The key for me is always to feel like my skin is clean but not tight or dry. That’s why I love this one.”
After she rinses, she gently pats her face dry with a soft towel, taking a deep breath as if enjoying the calm moment.
Step 2: Toning
Next, Y/N grabs Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Facial Toner. She pours a little onto a cotton pad and sweeps it gently across her face.
“This toner is my absolute go-to. It’s hydrating and calming, which is perfect for me because my skin tends to get a little dry. I love how it really preps my skin for the next steps—leaving it feeling soft, fresh, and ready to soak up whatever comes next.”
She swipes the cotton pad across her forehead, cheeks, and neck, letting it absorb naturally.
Step 3: Serum
After the toner, Y/N reaches for her Caudalie Vinosource S.O.S. Thirst Quenching Serum, applying a few drops into her palm before pressing it into her face.
“Now for serum. I’ve been using this Caudalie serum for a while, and it’s so great at adding that extra layer of hydration. I tend to get dry patches, especially around my nose and chin, so this is a lifesaver. It absorbs quickly, and I love how it leaves my skin feeling smooth and plump. Plus, it’s got this nice calming effect, which is key for me.”
She presses the serum into her skin, working it in slowly as she looks in the mirror.
Step 4: Eye Cream
Y/N then picks up Dr. Dennis Gross C+ Collagen Brighten & Firm Vitamin C Eye Cream, applying a small amount underneath her eyes.
“Eye cream is something I never skip. I tend to get dark circles from long days or jet lag, so I love this one. It’s brightening and firming, which helps with puffiness and dark circles. It’s lightweight, so it doesn’t feel heavy under makeup either.”
She gently taps the eye cream into her skin using her ring finger, pressing it delicately into the delicate under-eye area.
Step 5: Moisturizer
Next, she grabs Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Cream and massages it into her skin.
“I’ve been using this moisturizer for a few months now, and I really love it. It’s rich, but it sinks in quickly and gives my skin that smooth, plump feeling without being greasy. It’s the perfect base before makeup. And since I’m going for a natural glow tonight, this one is perfect.”
She massages the product into her face, making sure to get her neck as well, working it in gently with upward strokes.
Step 6: Sunscreen
Even though she’s staying indoors, Y/N applies Supergoop! Unseen sunscreen SPF 40.
“SPF is a must for me, no matter what. But I’m not modeling. I’m home and in the sun a lot, so skin protection really no matter where you are is something that means a lot to me, even with how nicely my skin tans. I just don’t want to have any risks. This one from Supergoop is so lightweight and doesn’t leave any white cast. It gives my skin the protection it needs without weighing it down, and it’s so smooth under makeup. You really can’t skip this step.”
She massages the sunscreen into her face, giving her skin a final layer of protection for the night.
Step 7: Lip Balm
Finally, Y/N applies a light layer of Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask to her lips.
“I can’t go without this lip balm. It’s so hydrating, and it keeps my lips feeling soft all night. Plus, it has this really calming, fresh scent that I love.”
She gently presses the balm into her lips, making sure they’re moisturized and plump.
Y/N takes a moment to admire her fresh, dewy complexion, smiling softly as she looks at herself in the mirror.
“Okay, that’s my skincare done! My skin feels so refreshed and hydrated, which is the perfect base for a simple, fresh makeup look.”
Makeup Routine
Now, she reaches for her makeup products and begins with Saie Slip Tint, a favorite of hers for its lightweight, natural coverage.
“Alright, let’s move on to makeup. For the no-makeup look, I’m all about using minimal products that enhance my natural skin. This skin tint is perfect—it’s super light, has SPF built in, and gives just enough coverage to even out my complexion.”
She dispenses a small amount onto her fingers and applies it gently across her face, blending it in with light taps of her fingertips.
“I don’t want to cover everything—I just want to perfect my skin and keep it looking fresh and natural.” “My skin is actually super sensitive, and I have found whenever I had shoots, they would put foundation on my skin. I would break out really heavily, and so I like stuff that’s lighter on my face just because I try to go for a more natural look all the time, and I’m not always wearing make-up."
Step 1: Concealer
Next, she grabs Glossier Stretch Concealer and applies it to areas she wants to brighten: under her eyes, around her nose, and any spots or redness.
“A little concealer under the eyes always makes me feel more awake. This one is great because it’s creamy but doesn’t feel heavy. It blends beautifully and covers just enough to give me a fresh look.”
She blends the product in with her fingers, focusing on areas that need a little more attention.
Step 2: Bronzer
Y/N picks up Dolce Glow Contour Self-Tanning Sculpt and applies it to her cheeks, jawline, and forehead.
“For a natural look, I love using this contour stick. It’s really easy to blend and gives me just enough warmth to define my face. It’s subtle, but it really adds a nice, natural-looking contour but while also enhancing my tan.”
She blends it in with her fingers, making sure the contour looks soft and seamless.
Step 3: Blush
She then grabs MERIT Flush Balm Cream Blush in “apres” and applies it to the apples of her cheeks, tapping it in gently.
“Blush is essential for that ‘I’ve been in the sun’ look. This shade is perfect—it adds a soft flush of color with a bit of shimmer, so it looks like you’re glowing from within.” "I don’t know how popular this is, but during the summer I actually don’t use blush, I just use cherries. Whenever I was growing up and we were in Greece, my mom would always have cherries on hand, and she was like, These are great for blush, and me being me. I wanted to do whatever my mom was doing, so that’s like a staple I use during the summer."
She smiles, adding just a hint more to get that perfect, radiant flush.
Step 4: Brows
For her brows, she grabs a spooly and runs it through her brows to define and shape them.
“Brows are really important for a natural look. And because of my mom’s genes, I have a lot of eyebrows, so I just brush them and not really do anything to them. I just shaped them with this call it a day."
Step 6: Eyes & Lips
Y/N finishes off with a sweep of YVES SAINT LAURENT Lash Clash Extreme Volume Mascara and Kylie Cosmetics lip liner in "cinnamon" and Clinique almost lipstick in “black honey,” giving her lashes a natural lift and her lips a glossy, plump finish.
“A little mascara and lip liner, and we’re done! The mascara is just to lift my lashes and open up my eyes, and the liner and almost lipstick give my lips that soft, shiny look that I love.”
Final Look
She smiles at her reflection, clearly happy with the natural, radiant look. “And that’s it! Simple, fresh, and effortless—just the way I like it.”
Y/N grabs her phone as it buzzes, smiling softly as she looks down. “Someone over their is a little impatient. so I’m going to get cooking!” She stands, carefully taking off her sweater.
“Thanks for hanging out with me tonight, guys. I hope you found some inspiration in this simple, natural routine. Remember—skincare is key, and feeling comfortable in your own skin is the most important part of beauty.”
“See you next time.”
The screen fades to black, leaving the peaceful vibe lingering in the air.

i wanted to share my skincare routine with y'all. i'm open to comments, suggestions, and questions. ♡
A.M routine
❀ step 1: cleanser
DHC's hatomugi face wash. i think it's really gentle on the skin and perfect for sensitive skin.
❀ step 2: lotion
DHC's hatomugi lotion. it makes my skin feel hydrated in the morning.
❀ step 3: milk
DHC's hatomugi milk. it's a nice silky cream and lightweight.
❀ step 4: sunscreen
DHC's brightening sunscreen for my face. it's (very) matte and a little difficult to spread at first. now i put it on my face by sections, which seems to help with the spreading. (does leave a white cast tho)
neutrogena's dry touch sunscreen for my neck. it's easier to use that than the DHC one. easily absorbed.
supergoop!'s sunscreen lip balm. it still moisturizes my lips despite the sunscreen.
P.M routine
❀ step 1: cleansing oil
DHC's deep cleansing oil. feel like i really get all of my day's worth of impurities out. also great for removing makeup.
❀ step 2: cleanser
peach & lily's power calm gel cleanser. it's refreshing and cooling. i think it's good to use right after oil cleansing.
❀ step 3: toner
p&l's good acids pore toner. it's also refreshing. gentle exfoliant.
❀ step 4: spot treatment
clean & clear's acne spot treatment gel. it dries out my blemishes, making them quicker to go away.
the crème shop's hydrocolloid acne patches on white heads as it easily takes them out. i use them right after i apply toner. i don't use them on the same spot at the same time.
❀ step 5: serum
p&l's glass skin refining serum. i feel like this is the key to glass skin. really makes my skin glowy.
❀ step 5: vitamin c*
RoC's vitamin c serum. have noticed that it has made my skin brighter and glowy. it's slightly sticky but once dry, it's fine.
when i use this, i'm replacing the serum.
❀ step 5: masks
variety of the crème shop's products. i use their essence sheet masks, how do eye look? patches, other hydrogel eye patches, hydrogel lip patch, hydrogel forehead patch.
i don't use these all at once. i'd do the eye, lip, and forehead patch together or skip one and use the other two. i use these on a sunday (my reset day), but not every week (budgeting).
when i use these, i'm replacing the serum.
❀ step 6: cream
p&l's matcha pudding antioxidant cream. it's easy to spread. i think it reduces redness, but i think it's my brain tricking me since it's green lol.
❀ step 6: retinol*
RoC's retinol correxion night cream. it has a different smell that i'm used to. it's very easy to put on my skin. a little goes a long way!
when i use this, i'm replacing the matcha pudding.
❀ step 6: facial oil
PROVENCE beauty's alpha-bet facial oil. it hydrates my skin very well. it's a nice final step.
*i alternate between the two. (don't use them at the same time!) i use them thursday-sunday, which are the days i don't have morning classes. (i often do my P.M routine late at night)
note
i want to start using p&l's lactic acid repair serum. i received a sample when it first launched and instantly fell in love! i remember that it reduced the look of my pores immensely. however, i am on a budget so i had to make a sacrifice </3
when i'm home during the school year, i use p&l's glass skin kit (both A.M/P.M) + DHC's oil cleanser (P.M). and i use absolute care lux's 24 karat gold serum and cream at night. the serum leaves this shimmery look and it's quite cute.
i used to use DHC's collagen mist but it's now discontinued :( gave a slight dewy look. it was lightweight. also great as a setting spray. ultra hydration

Ok travel pro! Any tips for skin while flying? I flew home from Thanksgiving and my skin isn't doing well.
Hi! I have a few tips but remember I am not certified in skin care. I have done a lot of trial and error of the years though and have come up with a good system. I have combination skin, so I tend to be more oily in my T zone, but during the winter months I do get dry. I also have more acne prone skin. I tend to avoid fragrance in my skin care, and I have been using retinol for a while, too. I like to keep things simple, and I am pretty religious about my skin care. I also make sure to hydrate a good amount on days when I am flying.
Morning:
Face wash, toner, vitamin c serum, moisturizer, SPF
Night:
Oil Cleanser, face wash, toner, moisturizer, retinol (3x per week)
If you are interested in the products I use, I'll list them below:
Morning Face Wash: La Roche Posay Purifying Foaming Face Wash OR CeraVe Foaming Face Wash
Evening face wash: CeraVe Acne Foaming Cream Face
Toner (AM/PM): SOS Daily Rescue Facial Spray OR Farmacy Deep Sweep 2% BHA Pore Toner
Vitamin C Serum: C15 Vitamin C Super Booster
SPF: Every. Single. Face. Watery Lotion SPF 50
Moisturizer: Summer months: Invisible Finish Moisture Gel; Winter Months/Holy Grail Moisturizer: Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream
Oil Cleanser: DHC Deep Cleansing Oil
Retinol from dermatologist, sometimes I will use a Retinoid (adapalene gel from any brand)
Few tips: if you use a BHA and a retinol/retinoid, wait about 20 minutes after you apply the toner before you apply the retinoid. You want the toner to fully absorb into the skin. If you have sensitive skin, start retinols in a pea size amount a few times a week.... You can mix it into your moisturizer or apply your moisturizer and then the retinol/retinoid. The SOS spray is my favorite, it's safe for sensitive skin and also helps with redness. The Elemis moisturizer is expensive, but it's well worth the price. It's really saved my skin and makeup sits really well under it. A small amount also goes a very long way. I tend to stick to gel moisturizers in the summer when it is warm.
For my overall body lotion the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration is my go-to. The large bottle goes a looooooong way. It's also great as a moisturizer for the face too!
But at the end of the day, remember this is what works for me and it might not be what works for you. If I suggest anything it's the SOS spray from Tower 28! And if you have acne prone skin, the CeraVe acne foaming face wash has benzyl peroxide in it, but it's not drying one bit! They have a 4% and 10% available, I use the 4% on my face and use the 10% on my back/chest when I break out sometimes.

Bless us with your skincare routine 🙏
This is what making it feels like. IM JOKING-but I am also flatterered
Step 1: go back in time to when you were 9 years old and your mom took you the beach. Your sister has olive skin and your mom believes baby oil is an effective sun screen. Recieve a sunburn so bad you have to go to the hospital and a social worker comes to question your family after you go home- and forever after that moment, embrace being very, very pale. I have been religious about sun screen since that moment and while my friends were like, tan and lovely, I carried it with me everywhere because I can't risk it.
Truthfully, you don't need a lot and so much skincare is gimmicky imo. Especially when you're young and your skin is good- why do you need 12 steps?
Broken down, I do:
1. The cleanser of your choice x 2 a day, morning + night
2. I do use a toner but it's not necessary imo. I think it helps with acne (I break out during that time of the month and this helps reduce it for me. Your milage may vary)
3. An Rx for Tretinoin. This is hands down much better than any pricey retinoid you can get. I use it 3x a week which is all I can tolerate and it evened out my skin so nicely I don't wear foundation anymore. Just a little spot concealer. It's also great for fine lines, wrinkles, and acne.
4. A good moisturizer, one that works for your skin.
5. During the day I use a vitamin C serum before moisturizer
6. If you're using tretinoin or vitamin C, a sunscreen is a MUST but honestly sunscreen should be the last step in your routine anyway because the sun, while so good for your depression (if you are depressed like me), but bad for your skin. You can use whatever you like, I have a cosmetic sunscreen for like, daily use but when it gets warm I use the same waterproof drug store sunscreen I put everywhere else (paid too much money for all these tattoos not to use sunscreen).
7. Finally, drinking lots of water (terrible) and a good night sleep (in my dreams) are good for your skin care routine and I swear I attempt this, with varied results

Glow Hydrated: Unlock the Secret to Radiant, Supple Skin
Achieving glowing, supple skin is a timeless beauty goal, and the secret to unlocking this radiant complexion lies in one powerful yet often overlooked factor: hydration. Hydrated skin is not only more youthful and glowing but also feels soft, smooth, and healthy. While it may sound simple, there’s more to it than just drinking water. To truly unlock the secret to radiant skin, you need to nourish it from both the inside out and the outside in. Let’s dive into the essential steps to achieve that enviable, glowing complexion.
1. Hydrate From the Inside Out
The foundation of healthy, glowing skin starts with proper internal hydration. Drinking enough water throughout the day is critical for maintaining skin elasticity, reducing puffiness, and flushing out toxins. The skin is the largest organ in the body, and just like any other organ, it relies on hydration to function at its best. Aim for at least 8 glasses (64 ounces) of water daily, and more if you're active or live in a dry climate.
2. Incorporate Hydrating Foods
In addition to water, the foods you eat play a key role in skin hydration. Foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants, and vitamins can help your skin retain moisture and combat environmental stress. Here are a few hydrating foods to include in your diet:
Cucumbers: High in water content, cucumbers help with hydration and skin elasticity.
Avocados: Packed with healthy fats, avocados help keep the skin moisturized and plump.
Berries: Rich in antioxidants like vitamin C, berries help fight free radicals and keep your skin looking fresh.
Leafy greens: Kale, spinach, and other greens are high in vitamins A and C, which help maintain healthy, hydrated skin.
3. Use a Hydrating Cleanser
Cleansing is an essential step in any skincare routine, but many traditional cleansers can strip the skin of its natural oils, leaving it feeling dry and tight. To maintain your skin’s hydration balance, choose a hydrating cleanser that cleans your skin without disrupting its moisture barrier. Look for formulas containing glycerin, hyaluronic acid, or ceramides, which help lock in moisture while cleaning.
Tumblr media
4. Master the Art of Layering Moisturizers
For truly hydrated, glowing skin, the layering technique is key. Start with a hydrating serum or essence, followed by a moisturizer to seal in the moisture. If you're looking for an extra boost, consider using a facial oil as the final step to lock in hydration and create a dewy finish. Here’s a simple layering process:
Toner/Essence: A hydrating toner or essence helps replenish moisture and balance your skin's pH.
Serum: Choose a serum with hydrating ingredients like hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, or peptides.
Moisturizer: Follow with a rich, nourishing moisturizer that suits your skin type.
Facial Oil (optional): If you have dry skin, a hydrating facial oil can provide an extra layer of moisture.
5. Lock in Moisture with a Humidifier
The environment can greatly impact your skin’s hydration levels. In dry climates or during the colder months, indoor heating systems can cause the air to become dry, which can dehydrate the skin. To combat this, consider using a humidifier in your home or bedroom. Humidifiers add moisture to the air, helping prevent skin from becoming dry and tight while you sleep. This simple step can make a significant difference in how your skin feels and looks.
6. Hydrating Masks for Instant Glow
If you’re looking for a quick hydration boost, sheet masks or overnight hydrating masks are an excellent option. Look for masks containing hyaluronic acid, aloe vera, or squalane to provide instant moisture and enhance your skin’s glow. These masks are perfect for pampering your skin once a week or before a big event to give you that instant, radiant glow.
7. Exfoliate, But Don’t Overdo It
Exfoliating removes dead skin cells, allowing moisturizers and other products to penetrate better. However, over-exfoliating can strip the skin, making it more prone to dryness and irritation. Aim to exfoliate 1-2 times a week with a gentle exfoliator to maintain a smooth surface and allow your skin to absorb moisture more effectively. Use an exfoliator that’s hydrating or contains gentle acids like lactic acid or mild fruit enzymes.
8. Protect Your Skin from the Sun
While hydration is key to glowing skin, sun protection is equally important for preserving its health. UV rays can dehydrate the skin and accelerate the formation of wrinkles and fine lines. Always wear a broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher sunscreen every day, even if you’re indoors or it’s cloudy. Sunscreen protects the skin’s moisture barrier and helps maintain the elasticity and radiance of your skin.
9. Add Hyaluronic Acid to Your Routine
Hyaluronic acid is a must-have ingredient for anyone looking to achieve hydrated, glowing skin. This powerful humectant draws moisture into the skin and helps maintain its elasticity. You can find hyaluronic acid in serums, moisturizers, and masks, and it’s suitable for all skin types, including oily and sensitive skin. For the best results, apply a hyaluronic acid serum to damp skin to enhance its absorption.
10. Prioritize Beauty Sleep
Sleep is when your skin does most of its repair and regeneration. Adequate rest allows your skin to absorb hydration and recover from daily environmental stress. Aim for 7-9 hours of quality sleep each night. To further support your skin while you sleep, consider using a night cream that’s rich in hydrating ingredients and works with your skin’s natural repair cycle.
11. Incorporate a Hydrating Body Lotion
It’s easy to forget about body care, but keeping your body hydrated is just as important as your face. After a shower or bath, apply a rich body lotion to lock in moisture. Look for ingredients like shea butter, jojoba oil, or ceramides, which provide deep hydration and leave your skin feeling soft and smooth. Regular body care can help your skin retain its suppleness and glow from head to toe.
Tumblr media
Conclusion: The Secret to Radiant, Supple Skin
The secret to glowing, supple skin is simple: hydration. By nourishing your skin with the right products, maintaining a healthy diet, and protecting it from the elements, you can achieve that radiant complexion you’ve always dreamed of. Whether it’s through drinking enough water, using a moisturizer packed with hydrating ingredients, or getting your beauty sleep, these small but powerful steps will make all the difference in unlocking your skin’s natural glow. Hydrate like a pro, and let your skin shine with radiance and vitality!

How to Get Glass Skin Naturally at Home
how to get glass skin naturally at home,  - Glass skina term originating from Korea’s skincare trends—refers to a complexion so smooth, clear, and luminous that it resembles glass. It’s not just about looking good on the surface but achieving healthy, hydrated, and radiant skin from within. While it may seem like something only achievable through expensive skincare products or professional treatments, the truth is, you can work towards glass skin naturally at home with the right habits, ingredients, and dedication. AAYNA
Here’s a complete guide to help you achieve glass skin naturally without breaking the bank.
1. Start with Double Cleansing
A clean canvas is essential for achieving glass skin. The double-cleansing method, inspired by Korean skincare routines, ensures your skin is thoroughly cleaned without stripping away natural oils.
Step 1: Oil-Based Cleanser Use an oil-based cleanser (or natural alternatives like coconut oil or jojoba oil) to dissolve makeup, sunscreen, and excess sebum. Gently massage it into your skin and rinse with lukewarm water.
Step 2: Water-Based Cleanser Follow up with a gentle water-based cleanser to remove any remaining dirt or impurities. Look for cleansers with hydrating ingredients like hyaluronic acid or glycerin to avoid drying out your skin.
2. Exfoliate Regularly but Gently
Exfoliation is key to removing dead skin cells that can make your complexion appear dull. However, over-exfoliating can damage your skin barrier, so it’s essential to strike a balance.
Physical Exfoliation: Use natural scrubs made from ingredients like oatmeal or finely ground sugar mixed with honey.
Chemical Exfoliation: Natural chemical exfoliants like lactic acid from yogurt or citric acid from lemon juice can gently remove dead skin. Use sparingly and always dilute to avoid irritation.
Limit exfoliation to 1-2 times a week for best results.
3. Hydration is Key
Hydrated skin is the foundation of glass skin. When your skin is properly hydrated, it looks plumper, smoother, and more radiant.
Drink Plenty of Water: Aim to drink at least 8-10 glasses of water daily to keep your skin hydrated from within.
Use a Hydrating Toner: After cleansing, apply a hydrating toner using a cotton pad or your hands. Look for toners with natural ingredients like rose water, aloe vera, or cucumber extract. These soothe the skin while adding a layer of moisture.
4. Pamper Your Skin with Natural Masks
Face masks provide an instant boost of hydration and nourishment. Incorporate homemade masks into your routine to achieve that dewy glow.
Honey and Aloe Vera Mask: Mix 1 tablespoon of raw honey with 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel. Apply the mixture to your face and leave it on for 15-20 minutes before rinsing off.
Rice Water Mask: Soak rice in water for 30 minutes, strain it, and use the rice water as a toner or mask base. Rice water is rich in antioxidants and brightening properties, perfect for achieving a radiant complexion.
Avocado and Yogurt Mask: Mash half an avocado and mix it with 2 tablespoons of yogurt. This mask nourishes dry skin and boosts elasticity.
Use these masks 2-3 times a week for the best results.
5. Layer Lightweight Moisturizers
The secret to glass skin is layering lightweight products to lock in hydration without feeling heavy. After toning, use a serum or essence that targets hydration.
DIY Hydrating Serum: Mix 2 tablespoons of aloe vera gel with a few drops of rosehip oil. Apply it evenly across your face.
Moisturizer: Seal the hydration with a natural moisturizer like shea butter or coconut oil. If you prefer a lighter option, use gel-based moisturizers with hyaluronic acid.
6. Boost Radiance with Natural Oils
Natural oils can give your skin an instant glow while nourishing it deeply.
Rosehip Oil: Rich in vitamins A and C, rosehip oil brightens skin and improves texture.
Jojoba Oil: Mimics the skin’s natural sebum and is excellent for hydration.
Argan Oil: Known for its anti-aging properties, argan oil keeps skin soft and supple.
Massage a few drops of your preferred oil into your skin at night for a luminous morning glow.
7. Protect Your Skin
Even if you’re staying indoors, protecting your skin from harmful UV rays is crucial. Sun damage can make your skin dull and uneven, hindering your glass skin goals.
DIY Sunscreen Alternative: While it’s always best to use a dermatologist-approved sunscreen, natural options like zinc oxide mixed with shea butter can offer some protection.
Wear Hats and Stay in the Shade: Physical protection like wide-brimmed hats can also help reduce UV exposure.
8. Eat a Skin-Loving Diet
What you put into your body reflects on your skin. A healthy diet is crucial for achieving glass skin naturally.
Foods to Include:
Fresh fruits like oranges, papayas, and strawberries for vitamin C.
Leafy greens like spinach and kale for antioxidants.
Omega-3-rich foods like salmon, flaxseeds, and walnuts for hydration and elasticity.
Nuts and seeds for essential fatty acids.
Foods to Avoid: Limit processed foods, sugary snacks, and fried items that can trigger inflammation and breakouts.
9. Sleep Your Way to Better Skin
Beauty sleep is not a myth! While you sleep, your skin repairs itself, producing new cells and collagen.
Aim for 7-9 Hours: Prioritize restful sleep every night to wake up with fresh, rejuvenated skin.
Sleep on a Clean Pillowcase: Use a silk or cotton pillowcase to prevent irritation and acne caused by bacteria.
10. Be Consistent and Patient
Achieving glass skin naturally is not an overnight process. Consistency is key, and it may take weeks or months to see noticeable results. Stick to your routine, and avoid experimenting with too many new products or treatments simultaneously.
Final Thoughts
Glass skin is not just about using the right products but adopting a holistic approach to skincare. By following these natural methods, you can achieve a radiant, healthy, and glowing complexion from the comfort of your home. Embrace your skincare routine as a self-care ritual and enjoy the journey to luminous, glass-like skin.

Do You Really Need Sunscreen in Winter?
Absolutely, you need it all year round!
Effective sunscreen not only prevents you from getting tanned but also helps fight aging—how tempting is that?
Tumblr media
Let’s dive in~
To put it simply, sunscreen is all about blocking UV rays. While UV rays are great for disinfecting, like when you air out your clothes in the sun, they can also cause skin tanning and aging!
Sunscreen is your shield against UV rays!
Why, you ask? Because UV rays—UVB and UVA—are two major skin-damaging culprits. UVB damages the outer layer of your skin, while UVA goes deeper, harming the dermis and subcutaneous tissues, leading to skin aging, dark spots, and photoaging. Scary, right?
Here are my key sunscreen tips! Follow these steps for correct and effective sun protection:
1. Remember to Use Physical Sunscreen:
Things like umbrellas, sun hats, sunglasses, masks, sun-protective clothing, and shirts.
I love shirts mainly because they provide sun protection!
I started my anti-aging routine at 22, diligently shielding myself from UV rays. Since my job requires me to be outdoors, I can’t always use an umbrella, so shirts have become essential to protect my neck and arms. I have at least 80 to 100 shirts by now!
Hats and sunglasses are also a must every time I step outside!
2. Does Physical Sunscreen Mean You Can Skip Chemical Sunscreen?
Definitely not!
Sunscreen is necessary all year round, whenever you're outdoors, even on cloudy or rainy days. Clouds can’t block UV rays!
Any exposed skin should be protected with sunscreen.
Here are some sunscreens I’ve tried:
- Anessa, La Roche-Posay (Blue Bottle), and Lancôme.
Anessa works great despite containing some alcohol, La Roche-Posay is excellent but a bit pricey, and Lancôme can clog pores. (Just a note: I have dry, sensitive skin, so these are my personal experiences and may not apply to everyone else.)
Apply sunscreen after your regular skincare routine—cleanser, toner, lotion, cream—then apply your sunscreen before makeup. If you’re outdoors for an extended time, reapply sunscreen regularly. No need to cleanse your face before reapplying.
Do you need to remove sunscreen with makeup remover?
It depends! If you feel your regular face wash doesn’t remove the sunscreen well, then go ahead and use a makeup remover. This is flexible; the method is fixed, but you should adapt based on your needs!
Here are some removers I’ve enjoyed using: Bobbi Brown, MAC, and TREE.
3. My Sunscreen and Whitening Tips:
If you’re indoors in a low-light environment, you don’t need sunscreen. But if there’s strong indoor lighting, you should still wear it!
If you have large windows at home and love basking in the sunlight, remember to apply sunscreen, or you might end up with a tan even while sitting at home!
Eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables rich in vitamin C, like tomatoes. Tomatoes are packed with vitamin C and lycopene, which helps absorb UV rays. They’re like magic fruits for sun protection and skin whitening!
Tumblr media
Lastly, take a look at the skin on the inside of your arm—it’s usually the lightest part of your body. That’s your skin’s natural, maximum white tone.
After reading this, do you feel more hopeful?
Even if you can’t achieve a super light complexion, you can at least bring your skin tone to its natural, maximum brightness while slowing down the aging process, which is a fantastic goal!
Did you remember today’s tips?

What Are the Best Daily Face Care Routines for Glowing Skin?
Achieving radiant, glowing skin involves more than just occasional pampering. A consistent daily face care routine is key to maintaining a healthy complexion. At OneBeautyMedical, we believe that glowing skin starts with the basics. Here’s a guide to help you establish a daily routine that delivers results.
1. Cleansing
The foundation of any effective face care routine is a thorough cleanse. Use a gentle cleanser suited to your skin type — whether it’s foaming, cream-based, or micellar water. Cleansing removes dirt, oil, and makeup, ensuring your skin can breathe and better absorb subsequent products. we recommend using a cleanser with a balanced pH to avoid disrupting your skin’s natural barrier.
2. Exfoliation
Exfoliating a few times a week helps remove dead skin cells and promotes cell turnover, revealing a fresher layer of skin. Choose an exfoliant that’s gentle and appropriate for your skin type. Chemical exfoliants with ingredients like glycolic acid or salicylic acid can be particularly effective. Avoid over-exfoliating, as this can irritate the skin. Incorporate this step into your routine to enhance your skin’s natural glow.
3. Toning
Toning helps balance your skin’s pH and prepares it for better absorption of serums and moisturizers. Look for a toner that contains hydrating ingredients like hyaluronic acid or soothing elements like chamomile. we emphasize the importance of a toner that addresses your specific skin concerns, whether it’s dryness, oiliness, or redness.
4. Serums
Serums are packed with active ingredients that target specific skin issues. For a glowing complexion, consider serums with vitamin C, which brightens the skin and reduces dark spots. Antioxidant-rich serums can also protect against environmental damage. Apply serum after toning and before moisturizing for the best results.
5. Moisturizing
Hydration is crucial for glowing skin. Choose a moisturizer that suits your skin type — whether it’s a lightweight gel for oily skin or a rich cream for dry skin. A good moisturizer helps lock in hydration and create a smooth base for makeup. we suggest opting for products with added benefits like SPF or anti-aging ingredients.
6. Sunscreen
Daily sunscreen application is non-negotiable. UV rays can prematurely age the skin and cause uneven pigmentation. Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30 every morning, even on cloudy days. This final step in your routine protects your skin and helps maintain its glow.
By integrating these steps into your daily routine, you’ll be well on your way to achieving and maintaining glowing skin. For personalized skincare advice and product recommendations, discover tailored solutions for your unique skin needs.
