I have finally finished ‘The Sign of the Devil’ book along with the Frey & McGray book series…I have thoroughly enjoyed book series and will recommend it to anyone.

But anyway, I started my visual casting for this series but never finished so here we go (I am aware some of these visuals don’t match the entire book descriptions but I don’t care)…(I am also very aware of the cast crossover being heavy on the good omens cast 😁 I like what I like) …this is who I picture as these characters :

Okay, look. I voted Faceclaim, because it's often one of my first steps, but I actually do ALL of these except pintrest/vision boards.

I'll either start with a faceclaim that inspires me, or I'll start with a list of visual traits and go looking for a face claim that fits. So those two are kind of tied in the starting position.

But once I have the basics nailed down one way or the other, I'll absolutely use Character Creators or get art commissions of the little people living in my head.

I'm just curious of other writers use similar forms to me/if anyone has any helpful ways to do this! If you guys are willing to reblog for greater sample size I'd be grateful but no pressure! <3

Doodles of me experimenting with my own bbq!ENA design, making her more creachure, trying out expressions.... very self indulgent but I don't care RAAAAGHGGGHG ARFHGGG RAGHG

[ID: colored and shaded doodles of worker ENA from ENA Dream BBQ. She has a few changes to her design, namely: her ears are more animalistic, moving in accordance to her emotions; she has a golden ring on her right ear and a golden hair clip holding back a lock of hair on her white side; she has slight markings on either of her sides; and her outfit has minor changes, adding a bit more detail, as well as adding a dark green watch to her red arm.

The first doodle is lineless, of ENA screaming in anger, her hands clutched at her side. The markings on the white side (on her face and arms) are spiky. The next doodle is lined, but the lineart is colored to fit with the shading, and it's of her walking forwards, clawed hand at her hip and the other raised in a wave, face downturned in a slightly angry expression, mouth open, markings slightly less spiky. The next three doodles are similarly lined headshots of different expressions - first is of her staring, wide eyed, blushing so hard it merges the two sides of her face in a pale orange blush; the next is of her looking up and grinning with her meanie side; and the next is of her seeming embarrassed, looking down and to the side, slightly blushing. The final doodle is another lineless drawing of her sitting down, one leg over the other, claws holding onto her hat and her smiling with her salesperson side as she looks at the camera. End ID.]

Another Girl headcanon, but I think she has really good memory, except rather than the stereotypical "being able to remember every detail, even the ones you weren't paying attention to" good memory, her memory just allows her to remember the things she pays attention to for much longer than any normal person would. Like, no, she doesn't remember where she put her bag 5 minutes ago, yes, she could tell apart Party Poison's mask from later reproductions based solely by feel and color beed because she got curious about it 10 years ago when she overheard Chimp and Pony complain about the items that had come into the Zones lately feeling "cheap". What about it?

jin fell thinking he had failed. if he had only killed everett. if he had only killed that monster back then. if he had only been strong enough to take out the rest of the heads. how much do you think he blamed himself for what happened? do you think, if he survived everything, he continued to fight? almost everyone he has promised to save, to sacrifice himself to protect is gone and he’s still alive. he has to go home to his master wearing one half of a bandanna set that will forever remain incomplete.

I don't have enough animation skills for this but I'm thinking about an animatic with Hiram's butler and the Deviless' maid: the screen is divided in two sides and the pov follows them around during a random day. On one side the maid plans the Deviless' social schedule, welcomes people at her place etc, while the same thing happens on the other side with the Butler at Hiram's townhouse. At one point they move in sync by shutting the doors in the face of two particularly annoying guests. They both make a 😒 face, and it looks like they're looking at each other to complain together.

Towards the end they swap sides, as the Deviless sends the maid to Hiram with a letter, and he replies sending back the butler with some flowers. As they go back to their respective townhouses they meet in the same location to chat for a bit and the scene becomes one. The video ends with the synced split screen again as they return to their lodgings at the end of the day, closing the entrance doors at the same time.

sirius black, the prettiest of the marauders with a soft jawline and hollow cheeks. light freckles atop an aquiline nose and narrow lips. clean-shaved ALABASTER skin that looks translucent in certain lights. silken flesh and straight eyebrows, COFFEE in colour. his dark hair curls over his ears. dainty and veiny hands. doe eyes of COAL black with silver hints. hints of ANISE and LAVENDER line his uniforms, an aromatic scent.

remus lupin, the casanova of the gryffindor tower (propaganda). MOUSE brown hair with faint undertones of red. PEACH coloured skin, connotations of youth and ripeness. cat-like BOTTLE GREEN eyes with specks of CHARTREUSE, fringed by thick eyelashes. scars line his face, rich and polished against his complexion. douses his knit sweaters with notes of CLOVE and HELIOTROPE. lithe build, slumped over a walking cane.

of BRONZE skin and veined arms, james potter was an age-old vision. heavy eyelashes that sit upon bushy eyebrows. the nose of an ancient Roman warrior, wired frames sit upon it. ROSEBUD lips with gap-between front teeth. his eyes, chestnut and russet in theory, olive in sunlight. thick and curly hair that encompasses his cherub face. cologne undertones of VANILLA, PEAR and subtleties of RASPBERRY.

peter pettigrew with soft FLAXEN hair. ROSY skin with PINK cheekbones. a pudgy form and twitchy, rough hands. notes of CINNAMON and shallow CEDAR. deep-set eyes casted with SIENNA brown, hooded like a fox. a crooked nose with a scar running along the surface. smooth-shaven skin and fluttery eyelashes.
