Maybe we should make a trope called Author Suicide for when the author basically disowns a work due to hatred of his fanbase, the work, or even just outgrowing a mindset portrayed in the old medium. They will either rush out an ending, discontinue the work or make the work intentionally bad out of spite.

Hi, It was my birthday 6 days ago.

It's really late ik, i was busy with Uni and tests 😭 I wanted to make a post to appreciate all the tumblr and game creators that made this year worth it for me! This year was a bit of a dumpster fire for me, I've been struggling with shitty thoughts and depleting motivation but I've gotten through it with the help of video games and stories. These include the visual novels and original characters that I've come to appreciate and love. I've always loved stories and attached myself to fictional characters (haha not very healthy but yea) and seeing so many different and interesting original characters on tumblr is very inspiring to me. It's motivated me to draw more often and to think of my own stories. To all the creators I've mentioned, Thank you. Thank you for saving my creativity and giving me something to be happy about. I'll continue to support your creations :)

In Channel 1537 we follow Marilynn, Jackie, Malcom, Daniel, Miles, Josh, Nolan, Christian and Finn on their journeys as they find themselves, grow as friends (and lovers), and everything in between.

Channel 1537 is a non-interactive soap opera/sitcom-esque visual novel meant for those 16+. Warnings will be added if needed.

Then may I point you towards Amelie Doree, who runs a YouTube channel where she does essays and explanations on (primarily) eroguro/horror Visual Novels and often goes into depth on how the themes stack up with today's political minefield and her own experiences as a transgender woman who is a survivor of abuse.
